O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms He fought to keep what would be your answer if he called out from the grave is just still the land of the free? around 122 grains so they had to go to the hundred and twenty three grain wait a minute well good Afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, this is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I'm Mark Hernke. And I'm Darryl Sivik. Alright! One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, central, east, and south. Ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on... LibertyTreeRadio.4MG.com Indiana Freedom Talk Radio.com. We're on AM and FM micro stations, CB base stations and ultra net technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska Hallmark Network from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida from the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico. Headed Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska, open to Wyoming to include both the third and fifth of pin and our friends in the recall state of Colorado. Waving the left coast where we have the great state of Jefferson, we turn back to the east, sweep across the plains, leap over the burgeoning banks of the Mississippi, and land in the Smokies slash the Blue Ridge where the restaurant crews, grammar teams, the OK teams, and the Mavel Grammar Consortium bring us the Golden Spike. Many hands make for light work. A million petticoat junction operators, the ability to continue to function, when everything else is offline. It's been a beautiful, beautiful day today here, and I'll tell you what, Darrell, it's starting to clear up. We had gray, white, white, gray, blue, gray, white, white, blue, blue, gray, white, but we had a breeze come in and towards the sunset here, well, it's not quite sunset yet. Everything's cleared up. I think we sent it your way, because that's where the wind was blowing. Well, you sent it our way and we got it. So have you got the weather and the storms? Yeah, I was watching them a little bit this afternoon as they were developing coming across from Cleveland to here. We just had one pass here not too long ago. Big wave? Yeah, earlier this morning we had a big wave of them, really dumped water. Seems to be that when these storms come through, no longer are they just shower and pass on the way. They dump the ocean on us and then they move on the way. This keeps up, we'll find ourselves down in Pittsburgh. In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Well, what is the date today, sir? We're going farther. Oh, today's date. You wouldn't have to ask that, wouldn't you? I'm totally, I'm prepared. It's 2-0 something. Yeah, I think it's the 20th. Yeah, when do you the 20th by guys? You're just right on top of everything. I'll tell you I know actually I'm laying sideways here flopped over with the cats on top of me They're the ones that are out there the ones that are up on top of everything Oh, wait a minute too much too many too many helpers here at the at the microphone Anyway, I tell you what real quick. It is the 20th of August is middle of the week And this is you know, we got Daryl myself here on weapons Wednesday Centerfire systems have been going through some ammo and the reason I would point that out is guys might recall they had you know for $200 for a thousand rounds of AK ammo, 7.62 ball. Well you might look at that ad double time because when I mentioned to it the last time it was the 122 grain ball. Well now it's the 123 grain ball that's $200 apparently that's you know whatever they got to replace what they had for their sale item. Now they've got the 123 grain FMJ Russian ball in the white box with the black print. It seems to me that they had the other box with this, but it may have been white box black print, but it's grain heavier. So either way, the point of impact is the same. These are all ballistically, again, mapped out so that they mate with the sights on your rifles. They have to, because hey, they want to sell more ammo. For everybody out there again, that's CenterfireSystems.com, 1-800-9501231. And they do have, by what's pointed out by our guys in the chat room, they've got some of those SKS's. Also, Darrell, they got the ones that are, you know, they're $289, it says, as is, they were stored in cosmoline. Well, I don't know if that was cosmoline or just plain automotive grease sometimes, because I've known the difference between real cosmoline, guys who used to buy it by the tub for a quarter, you know, the Crisco tub. You know, same can they used to bring Crisco in, in the Zip can, you know, the Key cans. And it was a quarter a can from Barnacle Wharf Trading Company. Don't believe you didn't buy tons of that. We did. I'm still greasing weapons with it. I've got one tub down on the workbench right straight below me on about a 45 degree angle. That is, got a tub of it sitting on the shelf right now because when I have other parts, not just weapons parts, but stuff I want to store, I touch it up with a cosmoline. Actually what I do is I heat the cosmoline up and dip it and let it cool and it's sealed. Then I mummify it with gauze and then I dip it again. That's just like the army used to do it. Army wazer! Anyway, go ahead, Darrell. Now that's cosmoline, when it hardens up, it's a... It's a sealant. It's also a mess to take off, but you know what? Here's the thing, get a can. This is a little trick when you uncosmoline it, but it's real cosmoline, guys. First of all, you can't get it anymore, and if you can, it's just stupid pricey, even if it's new manufactured cosmoline. It's stupid price, I mean expensive. So if you're taking something off like that wrapped cotton I'm talking about, put it into an empty all metal coffee can. Now, when the time comes, put that little coffee can on top of a hot plate on low and all of that stuff will leach out of whatever it's in and you can, again, reuse it. There's no reason not to. So, whatever you're going to squint, you've all got a whole bunch of this gooky stuff, I'm going to wipe it off with a rag. No, no, no. Carefully take and sloth it off with your fingernail, scrape it into that can. and save those lubricants and storage greases because especially the unique ones that we paid tax top dollar for, yeah you want that. Okay, you really really want those. One of the things I wanted to mention and you know what it looks like, this is kind of funny, I got to find out here real quick, Darrell. They had the Rent-A-Revolution rifles, the AR-15s, DPMs for about $450. Let's check to see if they're still here because this morning I checked and it looks like they actually took them off the list. And if they did, it means they sold out of them. Now, these weren't real fancy ARs. In fact, they're dusty and beat. 100 watt 200 watt Light bulb inside the box and close that up and that would probably heat that up enough to soften that stuff to even maybe make it run right out because when we were when I was refinishing stocks once one you get a stock that would have a Bunch of gun oil or something it got down into the wood and the finish wouldn't necessarily want to dry So I would I made up a drying box and I stuck it in there and put a Of course I only had to use a 100 watt bulb because I wasn't trying to melt cosmonolene but this box would dry it out so you could probably do the same thing but use a higher wattage bulb. Maybe even a spotlight would work too or an IR bulb would work really well. Yeah, you can get IR spot bulbs. In fact, usually people are throwing away. I got a couple the other day here for nothing. In the box, brand new one issued. So that would help speed the process along if you have a lot of these guns that are stored in cosmoline or if you are cleaning a bunch of them that have been stored in cosmoline. go to Tractor Supply and go to their markdown section. Every three months they're restocking stuff and they take the same thing that they have on the shelf and put it back in the back shelf for half price. Right now they've got an inverter, that's a small unit inverter, for a whopping, I think it's like $12.95 markdown, right? Go get yourself an old car battery or an old boat battery. Clean it up. Make sure it's got water in each one of the cells. Clean off the terminals. Hook the unit up to the inverter. Take the inverter and plug in one thing. Plug in your light. Now here's the other thing. To get power to the 12 volt battery, go to Harbor Freight. Buy a $15 self-contained, ready to use, 12 volt solar cell. Run the solar cell up so that it powers the 12-volt battery use the inverter to run the light bulb For as long as there's sunlight during the day. She'll run At night it shuts down. Why there's no such well if you have a now if you really want to run if you want this to work day and night Then you get yourself several batteries and make a solar panel Yes, use the solar panel to charge them all up and then you have a bank of batteries that you can run this thing and for 24 hours. It's a system that would work for many things. If you haven't come up with that system for your own survival needs after the power goes down, because remember folks, there may be a limited amount of gasoline for a while, but when the power goes down, the pumps don't pump, no gasoline. So what are you going to do then? Candles won't last so long, so you better have some source of ability to generate electricity. I personally have a solar generator that has a solar panel and has a three battery back cell. It has the inverter in it and depending on what you're running, the three batteries will run most anything for, well not most anything, but for example a set of lights. Lights without a problem. Yeah, run a light for about 24 hours or you can run your refrigerator for about 6 to 8 hours. But if you don't get in and out of your refrigerator once or twice a day, you don't have to have it running all that time. You don't have to do that. If you have a freezer, you don't have to run your freezer all that time. All you have to do is plug it in and run it for maybe an hour every four or five hours as long as you're not getting in there. That way you can, of course, yeah, well, that means we've got to switch. Well, what are you going to do? You can still use your freezer and just switch back and forth what you want every so often. If you're in a survival group, you've got one person who's in charge of that. Every day that's his job, every hour he switches things out and puts another thing in. In fact, to make a schedule clipboard up and that's what he does every so many hours based upon maintenance schedule. That's right. Common sense. We're the thinkers. We're the people who can make things happen. We're smart, not like people outside. We don't have to be like these idiots on televisions. that the world comes to an end as they know it and they don't know how to survive because, oh we don't have no electricity, we don't have nothing, we don't have any guns, how do we lose all our guns all of a sudden? As we would point out again, remember, black powder and smokeless powder predate the electrical age. Yes, something else that can be used if you have the supply of it, sawdust and gasoline can make a fine powder. Exactly. Well, the gas can only be around for so long. But I'm just saying. You got it? It's a precursor to the step towards powder production. In other words, it's something to get the job done. I was looking at this real quick and yeah, it looks like those render revolution mercenary rifles, somebody decided where they was, you know, we've had this riding going on and there was this flurry. I talked to the guys, I said, oh yeah, certain things are just going off the shelf so quick we can't do anything about it. Well, it looks like everybody bought those $450 AK or 15s first. Somebody else may have them. If you do guys post them in the chat room, but Centerfire has run out of theirs for the time being. They still have their $450 AKs. which is actually a pretty good price for the American made 762x39 standard stock or with the club stock $450 a piece guys those are American Aids. I just got a sportsman guide yesterday and I was going through it and they still have Vietnam parts kits for the AR-15 or M16 minus the lower receiver and the barrel. There are some other places that are advertising barrels. They also have some AK47 kits, but they also are minus the barrel. There are places where you can still find the barrels if you happen to have bought some of those 80% receivers and you don't know what to do with it because you ran out of parts while there is a sportsman who still has them for both the AR15 and the AK47. They are around $400 something to that effect in that neighborhood. I hate this what I'm seeing right now because a lot of the companies are in the same boat even though there's no discussion about what's being sold. Guys, just because the picture is there doesn't mean they have it in stock. Keep that in mind. I had this comment from somebody yesterday, I went to Seoul and Seoul and they said they had this. No, no, they showed a picture, didn't they? Well, yeah, and did they when you went to the picture did they lie to you and and tell you they still had and sold it to you No, but I wasted a lot of time going from item to item and finding out they were out of stock You know, it's like wasted. You know, it's a waste of our time. I know it's all man. I found one Oh, look, you're on another one. Darryl. Oh, they don't look girl. I'm getting tired of this So it's not it's not a waste of time if you find it right off You go to the computer and you find it right off, so that's not a waste of time. But if you go to one site and they don't have it, well, that was a waste of time. No, that just eliminates one from the list. You didn't waste your time. You narrowed the list. You narrowed the list. Now, another thing that, again, we were discussing this morning about the idea we've got this Ferguson situation. Mr. Shotgun is your friend, number one for Urban Operations, as we know. and light rifles. Remember guys, light rifles because if I am shooting at something I don't necessarily want to kill the neighbor five blocks away because I was trying to shoot the zombie that's you know like 100 yards away or a hundred feet away or maybe only 10 feet away. In fact 10 feet away is really bad. But remember that certain weapons also concentrate fire where they're needed and sometimes volume fire is kind of handy. Mr. 12 gauge is your friend and in a pump gun or a gas gun either way, one of my favorite packages that we built a lot of is a standard 870 Remington without cutting any barrels or changing the barrels out, leaving that longer bird barrel on, but putting an extension tube underneath that that's even bigger. These are real popular even for competition pump guns, but what's really cool is if you need firepower, you're looking at every time you pull the trigger with number four buck or with BB, putting a whole lot of pellets down range. Now remember when you're dealing with zombie, you know, zombie clutches, take a look at these pictures. They're trying not to show you, and I'm going to emphasize this. You notice how this coverage of Ferguson, they're showing the cops, the cops, the cops. Yes, I don't know how we feel about the police state. But guys, they're not showing you that many pictures of the rioters because they're not protesters. They're trying to downplay even though there's footage out there showing them backing up to the stores with pickup trucks and going in like they're assault infantry. You know, back up just like they do stopping robs all over the place. Gun shops have been popped like that years ago, not as much now because everybody's learned to secure stuff up. But for the longest time, there was a big string of those, backing the pickup truck up, smashing the front end, jumping straight in through the back of the truck and grabbing everything and loading the truck up right there. Well, that's what they were doing in Ferguson. Speaking of Ferguson, the captain of the state police that was in charge of the Least Wise Estate Police put out an interview in which case he was saying, that the police are now using a different tactic. They're keeping the crowd moving, not allowing the crowd to stand still because that's how the provocateurs get into the crowd and agitate things up. And he says we've now established official protest zones. So in other words, if you're not protesting in the official protest zone, you're in a protest zone, you are not in the right ambush point. You're not in the right kill zone. Please move over here where we can kill you easier with less interference. We can't kill him, H.U. over there and the cameras will be watching. Yes, so come over here to the proper... proper... or the... Cattle stall. Yeah, a cattle stall. There we go. The rubber bullets work more effectively when we can hit you ahead and we can claim you're using rubber bullets while it puts a dimple in you about a thumb deep. Yeah. You know what I mean? That's one thing nobody talks about. We're using rubber bullets. Yeah, point the grain in the face, right? Yeah, non-lethal bullets. Yeah, except they were lethal. Yeah. So there again, one of the things that we need to remind everybody about is if you are looking at, again, moving out of an area, exfiltrating out, the idea is to break contact and not make contact with either set of fools. The knuckle dragging roided up uniform types or the knuckle dragging doped up, you know, slash thugalicious types. Well, actually, thugalicious is in both groups now. In fact, for all practical purposes, it's like you've got two teams. What Fred Rexer said years ago is absolutely true now. You've got the Thugites that are in the uniforms, which have always been there to a degree, but usually have been kept in check. Right now they're not, so they're going to go stupid, which is one of the other reasons we're going to end up in a war here to begin with. And then you've got the characters they stirred up and in fact helped to create through the public fool system from the other direction, and the manipulators behind the scenes are playing both sides. Don't make any mistake about that. From the get-go. So we need to be prepared for that. When exfiltrating, the big thing is pathfinders, side-flanking security, and rear security. and the objective is NOT to be seen, NOT to make contact. Move away from what's going on. Don't move. We've got to go through to get to the other side. Really? Why? How about if we go to the right, move east, and then go around the obstacle, find the path of least resistance, move around the obstacle, and get on down the road. Why? Well, the zombies, we do have our guns so that if we need be, we have to shoot the zombies. But most of the zombies are like herd animals to begin with. And because of that, if you don't attract attention, the zombies will be busy thinking that they need more dress designer clothes rather than you as a play toy to be tortured to death. How's that sound? See how that works? So again, think exfiltration when you're moving through the area. The other thing, if I'm not drawing attention, you may have found a path or avenue that can be repeatedly used. So if you've gotten your precious and valuables out, your people, your weapons, whatever equipment that is critical that you could have, you may have had to walk out, then you may be able to re-enter using the same avenue of evacuation for infiltration back into the area to recover more material. Now this is a pimple on a map right now, the way this thing is going. It's not all over the place. It's not all over in several cities as yet. And it may not because again they're stirring the pot in one location but a lot of the people are scratching their hind end going, you know why did this happen in the first place? And of course all the information has come out, turns out that Fuggalicious smacked the cop and busted his head up to begin with, turned around and started to come back on the cop and you know, bull, you know, Ramble charged him, whatever. Okay, like we said, it's a two-party incident where a whole lot of other people want to come in and play in the game. And it has nothing to do with anything like what we did with the Bundy Ranch. We're looking for justice for the Bundy's. Let's go burn the casinos and hit a few gas stations. What do you say? Anybody do that when we went out to the Bundy's? No, because that isn't finding justice for anybody. Now, you may fight through the casino zone down the road and I wouldn't care. I mean, because what do they do other than take money from people? Well, they do have free food if you can get in there and get out of there fast enough without spending any money or anything else. Free food is cool as long as it's temporary. We never did talk about that, Darryl. When everybody was out there at the Bunnie Ranch, Well, you know, things never got so thin that, you know, what you do is you get a minivan or something, you load up a bunch of people, tell, hey, put your camouflage on. What? Yeah, grab your hula shirt and your dress slacks and you brought the uniforms with you, right? Yep, there you go. You got your tourist uniform on. Go into the casinos, go in there and find the chow hall. Nom, nom, nom, nom, nom, nom, nom. Act like you're going to do stuff. Walk around the one-armed bandits for a few minutes. Walk right back out to the minivan. go back to base camp, load another crew up with more camouflage, you know, dress slacks, hula shirts, sunglasses, and a whole bucket of sunglasses, and everybody just keeps trading them out. I'm serious. And go ahead and feed off the casinos. Why not? Yeah, urban camouflage. Yeah, remember everything's camouflage kids. Everything's uniform despite what everybody says. Man, I'm a hippie. I'm going to do my own thing. Everybody's got to wear the same choker with the love symbol on it, the peace symbol, the American chicken track. They've got to have a sweatband with a chicken track on it. I've got to wear a tie-dye t-shirt or a tie-dye shirt. And I've got to have my Spanish cut, low cut, hip hugger. uh... busy spanish uh... split about bottoms and i got to have my sandals if i don't have a uniform on i'm not doing my own thing we don't look the same like work with me you're already informed no i mean we do their own thing but if you're not doing we're doing you're not doing your own thing in your back all you're working uniform that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that These kids today, when they dress the way they do, we want to do our own thing. Okay? We take a look around. Who do you associate with the same type of people that dress the same way you are? Okay? So you're not expressing your independence or your self-worth when you follow suit with some other idiot. And that brings me to a point. We, the people in this country, let's say before that are older than 40, we have a disadvantage here. We were never taught idiocy as a language when we were in school. Therefore, when we try to communicate with our legislators, they can't communicate with us or understand what we're saying because we don't speak idiot. I buy a job. Actually, you have to work it. That is true because we come before you to stand behind you to do nothing. That is exactly the agenda. We need to act accordingly. One of the things to remember too is we have this whole committee of monkeys that are of course with the Copshop and with the Ferguson thing and all of the political correctness routine, everything that they've been gone to Homeland Security class, if you pay attention, they're saying nothing. Basically, it's gobbledygook, and it's gobbledygook that's out of the political correctness textbook. The only cool thing is that in reality, because of political correctees, they fumble, stumble, and fall left, right, and up and down. I'd prefer that they be trained by stupidity, by stupid, as opposed to, oh man, they could actually clean their act up. If they did that, they might be a threat down the road, but in reality, as long as they're still plugged into the politically correct inept, that's a plus for all of us, and we need to remember that, guys. That's a plus thing. So, act accordingly. and shoot each other in the back or shoot each other in the head or shoot at each other in a firefight that goes on for 36 minutes and there's nobody but cops shooting at each other. Yeah. Ooh, wait a minute. That's a fun one. Friendly fire is not. Always remember that. Friendly fire is not. So if you find yourself surrounded by a ton of cops, The best thing to do is just point one of them and dive to the ground as you're pulling the trigger and they'll all open up on each other. Bingo! Exactly. Pop, pop, boo, boo. Well, we have a couple of other projects, by the way, here, Darryl, but before we get any farther, and we are almost well, we're at the bottom of the hour. Where are you going to be? What's coming up in the way a gun shows up in your neck of the woods, sir? Okay, well, I got my September calendar right here, and in September I will be in Jefferson, Ohio on the 13th and the 14th. That's at the Ashtabula County Fairgrounds in Jefferson, Ohio. Then on the 20th and 21st I will be in Washington, PA for the gun show down at the Washington County Fairgrounds and race track. Then I will be the following week Rocky Grove, they finally confirmed it. I will be at the Rocky Grove Fire Hall on the 27th and 28th of September. I have a couple that are commanded up, but I don't have them in my in my thing for September. Yeah, for October. One of them is October 11th and 12th in Warren Pennsylvania at the Warren Mall on US Route 62. Now this is a new show so I'm going to try and get into that one and see. It's 150 tables. Also, you need to spread the word, let people know where this is, and we need to repeat it wherever we can to get it motivated. That's the thing. People find out where it is, it'll start to build. Yeah, well that's why I got it and I'm mentioning it. It's put on by the Kinzoo County auctions, but it's Warren Mall, US Route 62, north Warren, Pennsylvania. It's not far. From here it's about an hour, maybe an hour and a half drive. That's all I have at the present. I do have one coming up here and me go in October, but I don't have it in front of me to put in the calendar yet, so I will have that probably by next weekend. Very good. And again, guys, if you get a chance, pass it on to other people. If you don't know bodies that need to be brought in. Take the time, plug in and act accordingly when the time comes. How's that sound? With this situation going on in Ferguson and if they can get it to spread to other cities, we don't know how long we're going to continue to have gun shows or be able to continue to get ammunition. So, my suggestion is be there, be square and bring every dollar you can spare. Because you're going to need it to get more ammo, more magazines, more ammo. And I know a lot of people say, well, we need to have food too. Yeah, well then just take that off the dead bodies. Because these juvenile delinquents that they're hiring and calling them police will be being supplied with your tax dollars with some sort of food when time comes so you know what to do. You shoot one of them and take it. We supply is the battlefield or will be the battlefield. And again for our friends out there mentioning MBRs, main battlefield rifles, etc. as we have, whatever we're going to be doing it's not just the basic weapon system. Guys you got to have the support equipment to move and move on the field and function effectively. The weapons platform, pretty straightforward. Well, I need certain magazines for a weapon. Guys, whatever you're going to purchase, just because it looks cool, if it doesn't fit your weapon, it's not going to serve you. Now, what I mean by that is the right mag pouch and the right carrying system for the weapon system you're committed to using as an MBR, as a fighting weapon of whatever kind. Shotgun, hell, even a .22. Common sense. But it looks cool, Mark! Yes, but it doesn't fit. running, you know, taking D-clips and putting them into 30 round mag pouches, you know, stick mag pockets. Like I said, you're trying to reach that last D-clip that's in the bottom of the pouch, your hand's stuck in there, and this guy turns the corner and happens to be within three steps of you. And you're grabbing that D-clip out of passion, and you're like the monkey with the candy in the jar. You won't want to let go and your fist won't pull through the top of that mag pouch pocket because it's got that rib around it. And so you're tugging and pulling and you probably will be Superman. You will pull through that event. I mean in one, two, three you probably just get it out as you feel the first butt stroke because a guy figures he's going to save ammo and rather than shoot you, he just bops you in the head. Wow, so the right tools in the toolbox, but the right toolbox also. Mag pouches are coming every size and shape and they're, you know, mag pouches that will work with certain systems and not so much with others. For de-clips, one of the cute tricks with molly gear, look at the grenade pockets, guys, the grenade pouch pockets. There's billions of them coming out of government liquidation. They are cheap. They're five furs right now and they're 10 furs in some places. You know, five for so many dollars or ten. It comes to basically about like $2.50 a pouch. If you want to use the Moly Gear, what you do is you shuck off the big deep mag pouches if you're using a Grand for instance or if you're using a NAGOT. And you take the grenade pockets, make an inner liner for it that stretches it out and forms it accordingly to where it needs to be. and so it's reinforced. Then you can take your D-clips and drop them right in there and guess what? They work just like a cartridge belt pocket on the 10 pocket World War II, World War I, World War II, Korea, and early Vietnam cartridge belts. So they work and there's ways you can engineer your combat package accordingly. Think that way. It may be cool, but if it doesn't fit, and I've recommended a lot of things, and I have to repeat this over and over again. If it doesn't work for your weapon system, it's not going to work for you. It doesn't mean you won't collect them. Oh, I've got stuff that I don't have a weapon for, but I know that the weapons are there. So we need the support system for them. Go ahead, Darrell. Jump in there. Yeah, and speaking of weapons, and you were talking about the AR-15, being that it is a high maintenance weapon, you had better have in your repertoire a plethora of replacement parts or a complete weapons system that you can just put the other one down and pick up. replacement without having to go through a bunch of hassle. My weapon broke, it doesn't want to feed, it doesn't want to shut, and the gas tube is broken. You don't have time to change it in the middle of the battlefield. You better have something as a backup to it. You better have a backup main battle weapon because when you do get back to a safe zone, you may not necessarily have somebody or have the availability to get some of the spare parts that you're going to need. Even though there are plenty of them out there if they're a high-maintenance weapon and a couple things that go Goofy on them real quick is the gas tube will clog up a break and the nuts from experience and Also the little spring that's underneath the extractor Has a little nylon bushing in there to keep it from slamming too hard when the to take up some of the shock. That bushing will dry out or flatten over a time period of use. Then it becomes a little stiff and then your extractor starts to hit harder and it can break because it doesn't have the buffer there. So you want to make sure you have some of those around. It won't hurt to even have a few extractors. I used to have an M16 carbine and two of the things that I experienced the most for problems or breakage was the gas tube and the little bushing, like I said, that little nylon bushing going bad underneath the... Fracturing or compression, which is why it's made to be replaced. Right. On that note, there are different colors, guys. Colors are not really critical because different companies have used different Polymer chips to build those. Some of them are even a resin orange clear. The big thing is to have a whole pile of them because when you do maintenance, you could also lose it. Just losing it is kind of embarrassing because it really was put there for a reason. Stoner didn't add a part if it didn't mean something. You know what I mean? Government doesn't like to buy things if they don't have to. And granted, they do buy stuff they don't have to on a large scale with regard to the whole system. But they like minimizing. Contractors are the same way. They prefer minimizing rather than adding more and more and more junk to something. Yeah, we could just teach them not to pay too much for this. Right. More is better. No, it's not. More is better. No, no, it's not. So, anyway, the big thing is, again, spare parts, that's another thing that can go on board the weapon. Those recovery tips, those little polymer, they look like a piece of pencil lead. There's an idea of how small the scale is on this stuff, guys. It's like a piece of pencil lead only made out of plastic. So these parts can easily be lost. And in the field, that's why a lot of times it's like, man, don't take it down that far in the field. Well, you may have to, guys. You may have no choice. If you're doing maintenance and everything's crudded up or mudded up or dirt it up, you're going to have to. So you need to make sure you have the spares. As long as you've got the plunger, you better make sure you have the springs. And of course, extra extractors, simply because they're so stupid cheap right now, it's ridiculous, for what they are. Take a look at how intricate that part is. Ask yourself if you could build it. You see it's worth it to have it on the shelf. Go ahead, Darrell. Please jump in there. I was just gonna I lost I had something I was gonna say and I lost it. Wait, you're in there somewhere? The lumber yard off to the left by the trim. That's what happens when you have a lot of space in your mind. You put it and you file away in a corner and now you can't find what corner you put it in. Darn! Well, that's okay. As it stands the AR-15 in general is a parts eater and that's one of those parts that parts assembly right there the extractor The firing pin and the ejector are all critical small parts. One cool thing, let's take this into consideration, you can have several complete bolts on hand. That's the other thing taken and actually construct. The bolts are reasonably priced. There are a lot of them out there, stainless. You've got the different carbon steels. You've got even titanium out there right now. Whatever you choose and whatever you're going to go with, grab some of the cheaper ones and put them online anyway. Put them in your inventory. That way the entire assembly can be deepened, repinned, and then down the road you do maintenance on the bolt when you have time. Because if it fails, it fails and becomes a bolt action rifle real quick with failure to extract. It's really embarrassing too. Because that makes for a lot of fumbling that little tiny, what finger fits into the magazine, forgive me, into the ejection port well. And to get down there where you need to to kind of work that little piece of brass out there because you didn't want to pop out the way she should. She kind of holds in the front of that bolt. That's kind of embarrassing, isn't it, Darrell? Yeah, I remember now what I was wanting to bring up again. And that is to get yourself a good supply of the long pipe cleaners because they work good at cleaning out the gas tube. I guess they're about 12 to 18 inches long, maybe, or they're 18 to 20 inches long. So, because it's awfully hard to get your cleaning rag to slide down the inside of one of those small gas tubes. They're small. They are somewhat fragile for being a hard material, but where I experienced where they wanted to break the most, and then we'll go on, is right at the pin, where the pin went into the tube to hold it in place in the front sight, that's where they seemed to want to break the most. So, just food for thought, learning from past experience. Now, another thing real quick on this, we've been talking about mags and mag followers too. One of the most common things you saw when we had the big push here in the last year, Magpul of course has taken over the market on anti-jam followers. Don't throw out the ones you took out because somebody convinced you to do that. Again, any spare parts that you have, lube them, inspect them, clean them, lubricate them if they're metal, and put them in Ziploc bags and put them in a storage system. Put them into your spare parts inventory. A part that works most of the time, although again, most of the followers I've had, I've used piles of M16 standard military mags and I have not had a binder that I can think of when we fired thousands of rounds in a sitting. And I mean we burned. We used to take an M16A1 guys and we'd be burning thousands of rounds sitting in place. And about a relay after we were done shooting, it's like we've got to burn up this ammo. So everybody do a rattle battle. We'd load up 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 100 mags per weapon, and we would burn that ammunition. How much firepower can we put down range? How many targets can we cut in half? That was the goal. Trying to cut the impact targets in half, just to see if we could do it with the firepower we had. And in that time, especially, they were virtually annealing the gas tube and the weapon getting so hot that a leather glove had turned hard. D3 a D3 a glove I never had a bomb mag so it's very interesting considering how much we beat these things up in the field in deployments and everything else they pretty well survive as is but there are things that have been improved or things that have changed because of perceived issues well don't throw away the old parts don't even throw away the malfunctioning parts because in the field or even you know until you get a chance to put it on the bench You don't know what the problem is. And you really want to inspect to see what the problem is because whatever it's doing, the next one might do so you know what to look for and you know what to watch for before it fails while it's in service. Now even those parts, they go over into the, for instance, reject or tired bin. If there's some way that can be dressed up or cleaned up or put together or reassembled or reconfigured, then you might have to suffer with using them in a situation where things have gotten worse and gone to hell in a handcart. So again, common sense, but we don't jumble everything up or just lay things back. That's what the miracle of the dollar store plastic Ziploc bag is and paper. Write down the problem, inventory the item, and put it over into the reject bin, the reject tub, the reject bucket. It doesn't get wet. It doesn't get messed up. It's on standby. See how that works? Same with the rest of your goody parts. Darryl, they've still got the multiple sales items at Centerfire Systems. A couple other companies are starting to do this, but the Centerfire has had the best price on the AK parts. Guys, when you get them, bag them and tag them. Don't assume. Somebody else might be working in the armory with you, and you need to make sure that they know what you've got so that they can reach for something and save time. So while you've got the time and you can take a breath, package everything up, itemize everything accordingly. I'm doing this with all my electrical and medical stuff right now. All of my, in fact, Darrell, do you need any mice or any cabling for the station right now? No, we don't need any cabling. We got lots of cables. It's one of the things that we have Kind of like been hoarding. Well, I shouldn't say hoarding. We're saving and so we we We've been saving saving it up so that for one example is in coax if we need to Beat feet and don't have time to take the coax down or pick the coat roll of a cup We have rolls of couple three rolls of it. Yep I'm gonna throw in there dad. Don't get rid of too many of those cables. There's stuff there That's for the station that's supposed to be there's back up Oh no, no, I'm talking about new stuff I've been getting. I've been getting brat-nest piles of things. Well, I just wanted to make sure that the stuff that's boxed up and labeled in the station is boxed up and labeled for the station. We are looking at tropical stormings on the north of South America right now that could be headed up this way, so that's just something we're keeping an eye on down here. So we may need the station up there to kick in or Spike to take over for a little bit if that does turn this way. Yes, we were supposed to be getting a similar storm front up here staying in this area, but apparently we sent it to Pennsylvania. You only sent one leg and one wave, so the other wave and leg are coming. The last forecast, and I haven't checked it recently, was rain, possible thunder showers and thunderstorms all the way through until Saturday. Well, one of the reasons I bring this up is data cables and especially color-coded data cables. I'm probably going to send you a box of stuff anyway because we're really heavy rich on this and I've been getting more and more by the day. This is beyond what we've actually had from working stations. Dad, you've got to be careful with some of those data cables that we've gotten from the University of Michigan. Some of them are not the Ethernet CAD5 cables. They're telecommunication cables for their phone networks which have a different wire configuration and will not work as data transfer cables. Right, no, no, these are coming from another source. This is another location altogether. So, they were all, well you'll see, because there's going to be some headed your way you'll be able to take a look at too. The big thing is again that the, in fact also enough of the coax as we were talking about for actually hooking up cameras that otherwise I wasn't going to hook up yet. We've fallen into so much of this stuff where it's been disassembled and packed up and been donated to another direction that We grab all of it, sort it out, ID it, power it up, confirm it, and then use it. So next step is I've got a whole box of security cameras that we kind of just set off to the side because we didn't really want to mess with them at that time. But the price is right, free. And the coax, almost free, like you're paying a whopping dollar for like 40, 50 pounds of rat nest wiring, virtually new to the point where we really can't afford not to. So, again, for a lot of our people out there, pay attention to what's going over into the recycle bins and stuff. You never know what you're going to run into. In many cases, because everybody's being convinced now to go to wireless, and they're going to regret that to a degree in the long, long run. It doesn't mean we don't use wireless. We do. But hard cable was really not a whole lot that can go wrong with it. In fact, when you ask some of these people when they've de-installed stuff as well, was there a problem with it? Did you have any? No, it works fine, but they told me I needed wireless. And it's like, really? Well, but if it doesn't work fine before, why did you need to change out? And there's kind of a blank expression. It's like, oh, but that's OK. I'll take it anyway. Not a problem. Well, the reason they want you to change it out is so when they shut the power off, you've got nothing. Right, in addition also they got more it's easier to you know tune in on things or you know manipulate accordingly because after all it is wireless They can shut you off just by just by targeting your little little box Okay, your router or whatever you have Look to that they can just send a little signal in and shut that thing off and then your SOL Interesting something here. I just heard a ding And do we have a caller before we go any farther? Something else going on here I have a chance to really check on yet. For all of our friends that are listening, by the way, again, we are almost at the top of the hour. Today is Wednesday. We should have Craig from Forbidden Knowledge coming up next. I did want to point out the copper rounds, guys. Craig has probably got, as far as I'm concerned, the best price in the country for copper rounds. and you need to diversify your long-term investments. This is one of those that again the militia coins that Craig put together for better knowledge. There was a great wave of response. Things of I don't know if he's had progressive response, he's taken these things to the gun shows and they really go over well. If you're looking for a copper round coin deal with a friend, deal with a person that you've known for quite some time. Craig from Verbid Knowledge has done that. Please take the time and hook up with him. Darryl, again, you're going to be in a number of locations. Let's not leave everybody out. We've got a new gun show. We want to make sure people show up for that. Go ahead. Yes. We'll start with the new one first. You're talking about that one. It's in Warren, Pennsylvania at the Warren Mall on US Route 62 North. That's October 11th and 12th. Then going back to what's coming up in September. That's in October now. September, we're at Ashboule County Fairgrounds in Jefferson, Ohio on the 13th and 14th. Then the following week we'll be in Washington, PA at the fairgrounds down there for that weekend. Then the following week after that, which is the 27th and 28th, we'll be at Rocky Grove Fire Hall, which is just down here near Franklin, PA if you can see it. If you are not from this area and you don't know where Rocky Grove is, look up Franklin. That's the nearest big village to the area and you can get directions there. It's Rocky Grove Firehouse. I will have some more for October coming up here by the next show. At least one that I know of that I've gotten. Very good. Again, for everybody out there, take the time. Write the dates down. Time, location. and check them out but also make a point of passing the word on. The way to establish gun shows like this, make sure that they're developed, is people need to attend. People need to give word of mouth. It will start with the biggest show, not yet, because it's a new show. So remind everybody that too. They just started this up. In order for it to stay in place, in order for it to develop, you gotta let people know. They can set up, they can buy tables. They can participate. Also, get in there and check it out because a lot of guys, especially when they're new to a show, usually try to make better deals or try to promote it, again, and motivate people to come back. So there's cool stuff that shows up and there's people usually might even show up at a show like that that won't show up with others because they can't afford to or they can't get in. You never know. So it's good to be able to attend, visit, check out, and pass the word on so other people get in there and participate too. That's how all those other shows you know about were established, guys. It's interesting because we started years ago, the artillery armory on 8 mile in Detroit. It's actually outside of Detroit, way outside. The 8 mile armory, the Tiger armory down the south side, been established for years. Well, the guy got smart. To establish the artillery armory building is massive. He used to have artillery classes inside. you know with big guns, field guns, self-propelled guns guys, big. You could drive in and set up. That was really cool. Well he had a whole system set up, five dollars a table per day for the weekend. You couldn't beat that. and you could drive right in and he actually had a whole system, the man was smart. You could drive in, pull your car right up, pull your truck right up to where you're going to set up with the tables, offload your stuff, drive the car back out, park it in a secure area, and it was $5 to get into the show and it was just a fantastic arrangement. Well he started out with probably close to, oh, 100 tables, 150 tables. The next show he was at $300. The next show he was at $500. He was smart. Guess what? He paid for the facility with the tables and everything coming in through the door was profit. He only charged $5 per table. You figure it out. That's nothing. You know that as well as that. That's a hell of a price for a set up at a gun show. Again, wide aisles. Everybody could get through and it was standing room only and it was packed. Well, the government hated that idea because this was a really well organized operation. So they, of course, tried to attack him from every way that they could just to try and put the brakes on the evil gun show because it was oh so horrible, don't you know? Yeah. But it worked very well for the time that it ran. And that's the way it should be. It was really cool. It was indoors. It was secure. The facility itself was, again, it's an older facility. It's the artillery army on 8-mile. If you look it up, you can find it on Google Search. and easy to spot because of course you got a rocket, it had a rocket, a sofa built gun and a combat engineer vehicle out front. Combat engineer tank which is really neat. Wish we had that right now. We have a couple but not that particular one. As it is, again we're almost to the top. Going to hear the music here in a minute. Craig coming up next. Anything before we go, Darrell. Please. No, that's about it. Seems how the music has started. God bless the republic. Death to the New World Order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're on the march both day and night, and don't forget to hug your rifle. It burns! But it burns so well. Thank you, Daryl. You're welcome, sir. And we'll be back in a little bit. Meanwhile, Craig from Forbidden Knowledge coming up next. Guys right here on Liberty Tree Radio. Bye-bye.
