Mark Koernke and Don Betcher discussed safety protocols and discipline across multiple high-risk activities, using a fatal scuba diving incident in Lake Huron as the primary teaching example. The diver ran out of air after becoming confused about which tank he was using, highlighting the dangers of complacency and failure to follow checklists. The hosts emphasized that standards and procedures must be maintained consistently in diving, skydiving, firearms handling, and military operations. They also addressed border security concerns, calling for militia volunteers to deploy along the U.S.-Mexico border to supplement Border Patrol efforts, and discussed equipment sourcing including night vision technology, radio repeaters, and battery systems for preparedness.

A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God-given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms He'd fought to keep what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free afternoon ladies and gentlemen this is the first hour of the afternoon intelligence report I'm our quirky and I'm Don Betcher. We're the restaurant crew's grandma teams. Okay teams, in the Ma Bell Grammar Consortium, bring us the Golden Spike Don. It's been rainy here all day, kind of a quiet day. What's it been like in your neck of the woods? What's jumping off the wall? What's the day today, sir? The market is the 11th day of August, year of our Lord 2014. They say there's rain on both sides of us up here and it's kind of gray and really calm right now. Again, it's like great, you know, glider time or you're not going to fly too many kites or at any rate it is the 11th day of August 2014. A couple of things going on real quick to touch on. That girl we mentioned last week, the guy laying in the road, they found her apparently Mark yesterday or today while the run-up was going on. I was watching and from the images generated without any audio, apparently they found her in e-course. She disappeared down almost to the border of Michigan and Toledo and they found her in a house in E-course. Now she's in the Wyandotte Hospital and this is again derived from images while the run-up was going on. A couple other things. On occasion you guys, we use diving as an example of discipline and doing things the same way over and over. doing things the right way over and over. Now a diver died in Lake Huron yesterday, Mark, just east of the Mackinac Bridge. They were diving on the Cedar City, a big freighter wreck known as the Cedar City. I don't think it's the name of the boat, but it's just because I saw a Cedar City in 100 feet of water. Everybody figured out what happened afterward. This is the tragedy of this, you guys. Pay attention to this even if you're not a diver. He went in with two tanks. The ship lays in 100 feet of water on its side. It's not like you can go into the bridge in 65 or 45 feet of water. It lays on its side. It sunk down in the mud and the yuck and stuff a little bit. You make most of that 100 feet just to make the ship. Now, in looking back and upon inspection, you guys this guy went into the water much like his other buddies with two tanks. One his major, his main and the other his reason. Now his major might have been 74, it might have been 80 cubic feet with the first being steel, the latter being aluminum. That other 6 cubic feet, that's not even 10% of 74, so it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. But his backup might have been another. If he had an 80 cubic foot as his main, his backup might have been 74, it might have been a 40, it might have been a 35. There are other smaller bottles. The announcer here even called it the wrong oxygen bottle. Divers, unless they're diving with mixed gases, they dive with compressed air. The only amount of oxygen in there is the same amount in the atmosphere. This goes over to supporting your buddy, too. Now listen to what happened to this poor fellow. This is what they say when they got him out. They struggled. They tried to buddy breathe with him under there. He ran out of air underwater. They tried to buddy breathe and they dropped his weight belt and they still couldn't bring this man off the bottom. Eventually they retrieved the body. When they got him back upstairs laying on the deck of that recovery vessel, they studied his equipment. What he had done was mark he got in the water with everything set to the reserve. He breathed down his reserve tank and then kept trying to go to reserve, wondering why he had run out of air and wondering why he couldn't get reserve instead of switching back over to his main tank. There is so much to be learned there and you don't have to be a diver to learn from that. That's what they say. That's what all of the people on board, that's what the dive master on board, that's what the state police are saying what happened. To do a dive in 100 feet of water, you're generally They didn't tell me how old the man was. They didn't tell us how many years or if this was his first open water dive. That's not somebody's first open water dive generally. By the time the man is doing decompression dives with multiple tanks, he's been doing it for a while. Those around him have too, but just that moment of lax. Just that moment of not paying attention. Just that moment of thinking I've done this 700 times before and I'll do it just like those other 700 and because I've done it 700 or 900 to my log book says I've got $1400 under water. Just because it's been done so many times not paying attention to each individual detail through the whole of the process much like a pilot sits down and goes through a checklist. It cost him his life. Now there are other things, and I compare that to a pilot, but you guys do things when you run that gasoline lawn mower in the spring. You make certain that the blade isn't just going to fall off, don't you? When you get in your car. You turn the ignition and you put your foot on the brakes. Don talked about this around Christmas time. Throw something at me for what I did around Christmas time if you remember. When you start the car and you put your foot on the brakes and it goes to the floor and the brake light comes on, you figure you have to do something about it, don't you? These are little dinky little things in preparation. Some of these things, overlooking some of these things, because we've done them so many times, we get into the habit. When things become habit, Sometimes, we just drop that little bit. Now, the musician can afford to play a series of 7,000 notes and drop two or three notes in, and most nobody will notice the difference. Maybe the man sitting next to him, or maybe some aficionado in the audience wouldn't. Did you see that note was missing, Alfredo? Did you hear? But when you're doing things that can cost you your life, or if everybody, if all the whole family gets in the car, I'll put a little yuck and laugh into this, but there's a buddy of mine in town here. He has a poster on the wall and it says, I want to die in my sleep, just like my grandfather did. Never mind the seven other people screaming in the car. Now that isn't exactly about make sure the brakes work or make sure you're not on reserve when you're thinking and you're on your main, but you understand. how responsibility can spread. You understand about checking out your partner and to a certain extent every other diver on board that boat is guilty of that man's death just as much as him because they stood there. They paid attention to their own habits and all of the things that they do. We're going in the water, man. This might have been their first dive on a wreck in Lake Huron. You guys, you get excited about doing things in a different place. As a sidebar on that, this came out of psychology today, like in 1976 or something. I had the subscription to that for years and years. A junkie can get the same amount of heroin from the most dependable dealer and it's always the most uniform dose. He gets high and he knows how much he can take. He gets so high that it's not an overdose. But if he goes into a different arena, a different flophouse or a different alley or whatever, a different abandoned basement and does the same amount. The psychology of that being in a different place can cause him to overdose. That's about excitement. That's why I bring that to the venue of, man, this is the first time we've ever dove in Lake Michigan or this is the first time we've ever dove this wreck or whatever. Being excited and overlooking the thinkiest little thing in all of these habits that make that excitement continuous and make it ongoing. instead of coming to a sudden stop. We've covered in the last eight years one gentleman who even Skydo without a parachute why? He was the team leader and they were all excited and they all checked each other and everybody checked everybody and He jumped with everybody else because they were so excited and he was running all the camera equipment and he had been so busy running all the camera equipment that everybody pulled their shoot and everybody pulled their shoot and the last person pulled their shoot and it was his turn to pull his shoot and you know what he found out? He left it on the airplane. He didn't have one. All the way to the ground! He filmed it. Completely cammered up all the way to the ground. Well that classic shot where when he lands you know the guy you know how we rebounced he lands on his side and he got the camera laying there of course with that 45 to you know 90 degree well perpendicular to the ground and the people running up and looking at him and quizzically like is he okay? No, well chances are that third bounce when he hit you know boom boom and then probably was a good indication that he was probably a little busted up and limp by the third bounce. What do you think? You see? So it can be way down below the surface, or it can be way up above the surface. But either way, see this is where you do not assume anything. Most common mistake made. Assume there is a reason for a checklist. There is a reason for a standard. And this is something, I've had this happen over and over again. It's like I've talked about, you know, it's like how many weapons I've bought because I've asked somebody, you sure you want to sell that? Well yeah, that's why, did you clean this weapon? Oh, I want to clean it up. Okay, okay, fine. Immediately then they become vicious. It's like, oh, okay. Well, you're going to be belligerent. Yeah, I'll buy that M1 carbine that's worth, you know, $180 for, you know, $50. Sure. Because it don't work. Yeah, it doesn't work. And then I'll take it and clean it up and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, like a typewriter. Why? Meet me on the range next weekend, Frankie. Oh, I've done it even on the range. I've done it right there. Like I've said, somebody had, you know, a 22 and they were about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, about, It looks like park rising. It does. It looks like park rising. Because there's carbon everywhere. And well, those little popcorn fart machines only run so long before they get muddied up. And when you add lubricant, well that's a trick we learned in common. I'm serious. Now do not do this. Do not do this. Do not do this for a reason because it's an emergency thing. This is an emergency thing. You fired thousands of rounds through that AK or that AR and your gun's coming up but you don't have time to break it down or you can't. You don't have another weapon. Corpses are too far away. Or everybody's got a gun but you don't have enough to spread you know spares around well Even with the 1911 guys firing for the whole you know like the whole of the day and it's the end of the day and for whatever reason the ammo we got from the government we were competing The weapon is just not, you know, a weapon starting to fail to feed. You don't want to alibi when you're in the groove. You want to be able to fire, fire, fire. Well, there's a trick. WD-40 straight down on top of the magazine on everything and stuff the mag again and she will run because you're going to liquefy some of that carbon and you're going to make the weapon move. But in a period of time that stuff is sloughing off and or drying. It's air-hanging around too. Now you've made mud that works like cement. and it's diamonds too. Yeah, so now a progressively what's going to happen is it's going to lock up again on you but it's not going to be even as fun as the first time. So it's an urgent, oh my god, we're running out of light, we've got to shoot this relay, we're going to do this because we've got to be part of this relay to qualify for the nationals. And so rule up, otherwise, remember this, worst blast thing you can do, penetrating oil around ammunition, never. Never, but if it's going to be used right away instantly, then you do. But again, if you do that, you better be prepared because you've already reached the plateau and you've hit the wall. You've extended yourself again and there's another wall you're going to hit where it's going to be worse now. Because you've still got all that garbage in there, but now you've loosened it up so it's now going to go to where it could possibly be the worst type of failure. It's going to jam up even more or gunk up even more. And not only that, but it's going to solidify again. So this is a cure that is an absolute emergency, temporary, short-term, got to use it now, and then you're going to have to break it down. You're going to have to clean it up. See how that works? There are rules. You don't break the rules. You follow the rules. You start out by, first of all, it's like we've said, when you're carrying weapons, it's when you're using air tanks, when you're using parachutes, you constantly check. Yeah, well you're a little way over to any yeah, my life depends on this You know those who don't think that way you don't necessarily want them close to you either because drowning people will drag you down. Oh, yeah That's the one thing to remember Do you want to be there when they on the one hand there the arrogance level or the stupid level is very high and then all of a sudden then the panic level sets in and therefore more important than you are Or the failure is such that you know there they make a hole and that hole can cost the whole of the group. See how that works? Yep, we're fighting zombies. Boy, we're fighting zombies. Yeah, but wait a minute, one of the guns is down. The chatter stopped there. The zombies kind of noticed that. Hey, they're chewing on that guy and the zombies are getting through the line now. That's why there's an NCO, that's why there's a straw boss, that's why there's a team leader in everything that you do, guys. I expect it. The only thing is you also expect performance. If you want to, I want to be the boss, then you also have a level of responsibility to maintain a standard. The mechanism, the organization, the institution has to maintain a standard. First, you have to be able to be the boss of yourself and exhibit it in uniformity and over a great window of time. Master yourself and master the trade. Exactly. So that's why this is very pertinent. The only thing about diving in like skydiving, underwater diving or skydiving, is they're very specialized technologies. There are basic things that must, not may, must be done. No tiki, no washi, no air, no life, no parachute, no life. You will fall and fall and fall. Nothing will slow you down. There will be a stop. It will be rather sudden. When they drop the man's weight belt, a lot of guys dive with dry suits these days and there's a lot of air in a dry suit. You need a lot more weight to keep a dry suit underwater. Even if he had a dry suit, let's assume that, but if he had a wet suit for certain, if you drop the weight belt and you can't get the man off the bottom, he had a lung full of water. Because your buoyancy is dependent when you put a weight belt on you guys, that's the compensate for the lift, the buoyancy of your wetsuit or your dry suit. So then you become neutral in the water so you can swim up or down without effort. And then the deeper you go, your suit compresses and then you blow a little air into your buoyancy compensator and you become neutral again. But they couldn't get this guy off the bottom. Apparently he had a lung full of water. Lungs full of water. Because even when they dropped the weight belt he didn't become positive. So that tells me that the air in his lungs, that buoyancy there, was lost. So he was gone underwater. He was drowned dead before they got him to the surface. A lot of times you guys, even swimmers, a lot of times a swimmer coughs in just water and people drag him out, they can still die on the beach. They can still die in the hospital. with dead underwater. You have to dwell on this, Mark, but there's so much to be learned here, you guys. From your lawn mower to your toy airplane to your gun to your car to your parachute and your scuba tank. Thank you, Mark. And the most important thing again is set a standard. Establish it and maintain it. Why do we have such a high safety record as militia units on the range? And we're not, here's the thing, we expect everybody to carry loaded weapons We don't do the, you know, you have to have special tags and flags. We just expect everybody to maintain the same standard on the range that we expect of them when we go into combat. And we expect a level of focus and seriousness with regard to understanding we're training to fight and you, again, train to fight so that you will fight as you have trained. It's a circle. If you don't train the way that you plan on fighting, then you're going to have hesitation and failure or you have to correct something that's been a conditioned process which the safety or in-all retentive control freak version of that the government runs are good because it conditions your enemy in a way that they need to be conditioned especially if we're going to win. On our side, we expect specific performance and we expect it constantly. Everybody is in a fighting posture when they're deployed in the field. Even when we've had training exercises, our people train and deploy fully combat loaded. We don't shave anything off. We don't lighten anything up. That's not the mission of a training exercise. The exercise's purpose is to test the technology that you've embraced. It's like saying, we're going to practice air policy and procedure with a dive, but we're going to cut this out and shave this off. I'm going to get to the Burger King at the end of the meeting here. It takes 15 minutes to do compression time. We're going to remind you that we're kind of cut off here. You're supposed to just remember to plug this in, even though this was a training and instructional course where we're supposed to give you 100% of what you need to get the job done. We are performing in a particular way. It is critical that everybody understand this with regard to everything that you do, especially in this life and death situation. We are headed towards a war inside the US. The enemy is not just at the gate. They have overrun the position. The gate has been failed. The liars that are in the system are allowing gates literally to be overrun. We have traitors that have been in positions of power. and four nationals that are in positions of power that need to be rounded up and they need to be properly executed when the time comes. Probably sooner rather than later everybody should. Everybody got their act together. It's a whole bunch of them Mark. They did not board one of those airliners where the pilot got it into the air and then noticed he didn't have any fuel. Exactly. Oh that was part of the common core class. Those are the new common core students coming up. Hey, math is not real critical. It's not a an exacting scientist and the general nebulacy kind of a thingy and it's all just kind of averaging stuff out close you know i worked in books just something as simple as books everything is numbers when manufacturing books everything every aspect of what you do with books is math there's a physical the physical application of math It's not as simple as you think. They are an intricate complicated process. They've been made simple through the use of intelligent process and their accuracy in the construction of the text is math. But not with common horror, just like they are hating on America with the next part of what is coming up now. The next step is the history. If you thought the math was stupid, well the whole history block now is hate on America. Hate Americans that are part of American history. Hate everybody. Hate everything American. So your children are going to the public fool system so that these knuckle draggers and these foreigners and these communists can teach your children that they are to hate America. That's what's already on the plate. There's already enough of them like that. What do you got? Have you been to a college right recently? Look at Jerry's kids are three steps above the fools that are typically in the college system now. You mean the people that teach that. Well, those guys that we now call the founding fathers, they were just a bunch of rich landowning white guys. Yeah, except for the other people who were, well, they were landowning white guys. I'll tell you what, before we go any further, right now at this point, Don Night Vision Technology has benchmarked this for the bottom of the hour. and I don't need to address the third issue there, do I? Hey, if you want to talk about night vision, you know, I'll steal it from Joe in the morning. If you want to see in the dark, that's a simple statement. But I've got a second generation gun sight at 4 Power. The manufacturer will be happy to sell it to you for $449 and then they're going to get delivery beyond that. I'll put it in your mailbox, including delivery in the two-year warranty for $390. Don't let the manufacturer know, but tell everybody else. Again, many times I've told you, you call the 800 guy with the 800 number and then you call me, you probably won't call him back. You'll save more than the cost of the phone call. My number is 231-796-58. Again, 231-796-8458. Goggles are gun sights. Green screens are thermal. Got a second generation gun sight, 2 power. 308 capable, like the first generation gun sight, it'll live on top of your M1. That second generation gun site right in your mailbox including the delivery and including the two year manufacturer's warranty for $1,248. My number is 23179658. Again, 2317968458. Goggles or gun sites, green screens or thermal. Thank you, Mark. And for everybody out there, again, why are you dealing with a stranger when you can deal with a friend? Let's see what else. We have a couple more things here before we go any farther up in your neck of the woods there. By the way, you're looking for a certain instrument. I want to bring this up. For our friends out there listening, let's get everybody's eyes and ears on this project. You need a particular instrument. big, long stringed instrument. If we could find one for Reasonably Priced or for Almost Free, that would be great. Go ahead. There's something I want to do, you guys. We're not always right here at the hour. And if you don't allow some time for escape or play or recreation, you go crazy. You go, duh duh duh duh duh duh, the cuckoo. But I'd really like to have an upright bass. I posed the question to Mark today. In your travels, if you come across an upright base like an old 50's rock and roll in the background base, a big, big base fiddle, something without fret, call me. You got my number. My number is 231-796-8458. To do this across the nation, if one turns up in Arizona, I'd We might be able to get it here. I'm not certain. I know we can arrange some things. But there are some things I want to do, you guys. I've done some other things before. I said this to one man a while back and he turned and walked away from me. Any grown man that's not a Casper Wilp milquetoast is a control freak, whether he wants to admit it or not. There are some things I want to maintain control over. I want them to be presented in certain ways. and that would be a lever to me continuing that direction. So a great big bass, something like a three piece rock and roll band you might see or something, mope jazz or something like that. They make them even in plastic. I'm not picky. I'll quit on this though, but you guys, you know my phone number. You hear it for the night vision and I feel kind of creepy doing this, but if you come across one cheap, Give me a call. My number is 231-796-8458. I don't do this for personal gain right now. Let's change subjects here. I'm looking at on the news here. It looks like the wall along Mexico This might be someplace else because I don't have the volume on but it looks like an airplane crashed into the wall there knocking down a big portion of it. A small aircraft might have been a jet, a small jet. You'll hear more about that on the evening news because they're showing it to me now on the local. I'll try to pay more attention to that and figure what's going on there. But that's what it looked like to me without any audio. because it sure looked like the steel wall we see there in New Mexico, Arizona. And there were parts of a plane in the big hole in the wall. The pilot was the first of the crash and knew exactly what he hit. It wasn't everybody that talked to him when he was done. It could have been Jose who has been in the hospital in Mexico City on the slab in the morgue for seven or fourteen days now. They get them out just to bring them to room temperature, put them in the airplane, and we fly it by wire into the wall, and then tell everybody Jose did it. But again, that's just my impression from the visual images in front of me. They're in New Mexico. We have a couple other projects that we are working on right now. One of them of course, Deployment on the Border Guys. Monoculars and or weapon sites, either one will work. But I would remind everybody again, sponsor, personnel headed to the border. Now people have been posting, let's say thank you to Henry, the videos we played the audio track of this morning. Henry has them on his page. on the scroll. One of them is Megyn Kelly-Shocking Texas Border or TX Border exclusive. Now there are several reposts of that so you will find a copy of that. Even if the one is taken off, they might take them all off because this is giving the whole thing a bad image right now. Only because it shows. You point your camera in one direction and they are all down by the bridge. You point your camera in the other direction and the dopers, broad daylight, still of course towards the evening, but broad daylight are running across the river in classic riverine slash river assault operations guys. Broad daylight, beyond a shadow of a doubt, everybody knows. If that's happening in just one spot, you think that's what, just the isolated spot for activity? Somebody just stumbled across it and said, oh look, It's all up and down, it's wide open, the government is doing nothing. The federal government, the Border Patrol is doing what they're supposed to be doing because it's with what they've got because they're limited and they've been intentionally hamstrung. It's just that simple. So if we're going to be deploying and we're going to do this, we're going to do it fast, and we need to do it in waves so we start a beachhead and then expand out from there. We don't need to pile up a whole lot in one place. What we need is presence all up and down the border to such a degree that the border patrol becomes the reaction stick for the coast watchers. Much in the way that during World War II in the early days the Coast Watchers allowed for gave us the eyes and ears to be able to deploy what little military resources we had. Unlike the movies, the modern rewrites of history, guys, the US military in 1942 was virtually bereft of pretty much all of its teeth. with a couple of carriers and mostly cruisers, one or two battle wagons still demi-functional in the Pacific. Pretty much everything was done with light ships, destroyers, corvettes, and cruiser groups. The carriers were surgical, they were used as needed, but they were given high priority for particular missions and they didn't just waddle out there to be risked. The Essex class had just come off the drawing board. In fact, just in 1937, 1938, the Enterprise had done its shakedown cruises. The Idaho, rather the Iowa class battleships, hadn't even had kills late yet. Yep. They were and wouldn't be available for until a later part of 42 into early 43 which were the transition months. And during that period of time were it not for the intelligent process of surgically applying energy the line could not have been held. That's what needs to happen now. The system is going to already fail this. This is not something new. None of this is anything that's like, wow, man, this just happened out of nowhere. We have covered this for decades. This has been a systematic plan of failure with the right person in place in the executive office, which is what we have right now. The rest of the shipwreck is in motion. You know, Mark, that thought, I was doing the dishes earlier today. I was doing that KP. And that thought ran through my mind. The last time we had a president that told us he did so, we've done so, let me try to do it like this. This administration has done so much for America. We have established Social Security. We have brought the poor man some relief. We have dragged ourselves out of this depression. And then he goes on to say things like, the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. The last time a president told us he had done so much good for America, he took us to war. He took us to war deceptively, didn't he? You know, it's like that doomed to repeat history thing. Because there are so many people that think, this guy's the best thing since bread and buttered bread. Look what he done for us. and look at how he's deceiving us and look at the South on the horizon. Need I say more? Now, again, one of the things that we need to see happen because of this is we need sponsorship. We need people to sponsor personnel that are going to the border, that are going to be deploying on the border. Outfitting, equipping, providing meat material support, providing the food. and taking the food with you because you are going to be, here's the thing, everybody's talking about occupying ranches. You're going to be deployed on site. Taking material support with you is a recommended process and everybody can pitch in, a lot of people go, I can't get down there, I understand, people can't. Some people just can't leave their jobs, it's that simple, they're not going to be able to, okay? We all understand that. So, take the time, plug in, and support the individuals that are deploying down there. Okay? Just that simple. It will work very well for everybody. The other thing is outfitting and equipping a whole new group of people, a whole new group of people that may need supply and support. They may need web gear. They may need uniforms, equipment. They may need to pre-deploy or set up everything. We need to pre-deploy or set up everything that we can for the people to ensure that they've got the support that they need. So just something to consider. It can be done now. If we have sites down there where people are deployed, where we've got information, then we have points of contact, pass them on. And we'll do what we can to volunteer more material support. We've got other people going down there, but if somebody is, man, I wanted to go, I need this, or I'm being, or we've got a couple of guys that need to be outfitted the rest of the way, let us know. We'll pitch in and we'll make it happen. Top to bottom. I'm not going to get no here. I'll fit you with $4,000 worth of the latest in blah, blah, blah designer gear. But you'll be well equipped with new material, new support equipment, everything you need talked about them, and you will be squared away to match the rest of the people that are going down there. That's what we can do, because we have the process to use intelligent selection to get the job done. Anyway, done. Couple of things here. Repeater technology. We found a source. for another company that has a Connect Anywhere Repeater. or And you'll see that there, S-I-2-8, a signal repeater that I'm told will work with a whole bunch of different kinds of radios. And they want $59 for it. You know what? I like that because that $59, it includes shipping. Does that sound familiar? I like that. It includes shipping for $59 a signal repeater, you guys, from 409shop.com. The product identifier is SR, signal repeater, S-I-2-8. I mentioned that signal repeater just to give you a reference on that SR in case you don't get that, but it is SR Sierra Ranger S-R-3-209 shop.com. They'll get $59 for it and that includes delivery. It's supposed to work across a bunch of radios, I'm told. If you go there, you can look into bigger dollar things and have things or repeaters that are even more functional. There's another source to look into you guys. 409 Shop. But when you go there, check out that SR328. Cool. We'll have to bring this up again tomorrow because it's a communications thing and you know what tomorrow is. But we thought we'd bring that up today because I don't know how many of them they have tripping over my lips there. How many of them they have? you know, how long they'll keep them on the shelf. They kind of run parallel there, don't they? So we're bringing that information now. But a repeater might come in handy. 09shop.com. I'm posting it right now for everybody there. So, 409shop.com. Now, they do have a lot of other items. This isn't the only thing they've got. So you are going to have to search a little bit to find what we're talking about. But radio accessories, repeater items, hint, hint, hint, repeater items. Well, more than just a few then. So in other words, They've got a lot of other components and pieces and assemblies and all kinds of... Yes! So everything including duplex... Well, actually, they run the gambit price-wise, Don. We're looking at $95, $82, $68, $77, $80, $59, $90, $59, $90, $59, $90, $59, $90, $59, $90, and $59, $90. It includes cables, connectors, the whole nine yards. So whatever they've got in the inventory. Again, they also have separate connectors and cables. Now some of your connectors and cables I would recommend getting backups for if they're single and available because they are unique, very unique. Bi-pin or dual pin systems. Wherever that's required, I would grab one. It wouldn't hurt to armor them up when you deploy them into the wilderness too because there's things out there that just chew on anything. Well, the flex points. The stuff is probably not going to be that great. We've seen this over and over again with the antenna, the little chubby antennas. It's to the point where it almost say either a duct tape camouflage duct tape would be an option by the way. There's camouflage duct tape out there now. And you don't need a whole lot, but the idea is around the flexor points, give it a wrap. One, a couple of, with the duct tape for instance in camouflage, you can get the cloth type tape. There's another option, the cloth camouflage. Same qualities, very highly tacky, very much a sticky back base. and wrap a few times, at least four or five wraps around the length of the tape. Wrap it around, not the length of the roll, but the width of the tape. Forgive me, wrap that around as the length of your cover and do that where it connects closest to the fixture and where it's going to plug into the other fixture. The cables. The reason? Well, where that little casting is for that part that you pull on or you prod on, whatever, that's what's going to break. That's where it's going to break. 100% of the time. OK? Well, I won't say that. 90% of the time. 96. Well, let's just say it's so high, it's ridiculous. Seriously. So think ahead. Prior to prepper planning prevents best port performance on this. Now, there's a lot of other technology that they have. And one of the other things that I was looking at here are earbud and earpiece systems. They've got a lot of other stuff. It's tiny stuff. And they have industrial surplus in terms of components. resistors, you name it, there's a lot of stuff that shows up, LEDs, 100 pieces of LED light, it's a 5mm red LED light diffused, $6 for 100 pieces. Oh, any infrared? That's what I'm thinking they have. I haven't had a chance to go through everything here yet. Okay, I don't need to bug you, I'm sorry. No, that's good. No, that's a good point because infrared LEDs in quantity, I'm sure they've got them. We just have to go through the myriad of items that they have because they've got, well it's just like DealXtreme. If they're anywhere near that price, you're beating the heck out of Radio Shack. Yep, exactly. And a whole big cloud. There's slightly more cost than recovering them out of television remote controls and other remote control devices. A couple of things for instance. Now this is something that we have talked about before. I know again it's because we're on this site. Some of your radios do not use a standard AAAA battery. They use a very specific battery pack. Now these are using the ion, the lithium ion. batteries, 1.8 for Beifong UVR5R. Is that a disc battery? These are those disc batteries and again if they're offering them I would say buy at least two. Now it'll about $11.50 anywhere from $8.50 to $15 a piece depending on the battery on the radio they have these. and I can't stress enough that those are going to be an orphan battery down the road. Not maybe, not kind of. Remember, it's just like cell phones, guys. Do you know how many hundreds of cell phones from the last 30 years I've collected? Some of these can be switched over to walkie-talkies, which is what I'm doing with the old Motorola's right now. Because they are, they're perfect size. But the big thing about this is the battery packs. They are very narrow and specific. So at a given point, it won't be the battery you'll be able to run off from. You're going to have to have the adapters and run off some form of external power supply, changing the way the radio is used and how it can be deployed in the future. So if you're going to buy, if it has a specialized battery pack and you're already committed to it, you like that radio, but it's got a special battery pack system. accumulate batteries just like magazines for weapons guys or ammunition for weapons those radios batteries will not last forever even if they're the higher end you know material they still have a limited lifespan and remember the batteries are not charged up coming out of the box they're on neutral and on standby to be used so they're just parts most critical is that you can keep them on the shelf until such time then charge the batteries up now you've started the clock ticking on lifespan See how that works? So spare especially for unique systems by the batteries. Now I try to pick systems that have either AA or AAA batteries because There's lots of throwaways that are out there and down the road you'll be able to find, but also remember that there's lots of rechargeables and you can scavenge from a lot of places to get them. This last week and I got, oh, I don't know, well I know what it is Don. Just as a case in point, watch for, think people throwing stuff away. Around the area here we're in that cycle for safety lighting right now to be replaced. Now you know, safety lighting when you're in a store, you look up and there's those boxes, when the power goes out they hit the two bright lights and you've got fire safety lights to see to get out of the building. Now those have their own battery guys, 12 volt system. And every one of those is a battery system that even if it doesn't hold perfect charge could run an LED light for a perimeter light in your area either with infrared or with ultra stark white super bright LEDs like they have out there available all over the place now. You can come up with a closed system that is run off a little solar panel that charges up the 12 volt system during the day and runs until it runs out at night. You're not out anything. Minimal cost, maximum end result. And again, China Sport, but what does it do? It creates perimeter lighting that virtually doesn't cost you anything. In the long run, I mean with every day that it runs and every day that it continues to run, you're dividing or subdividing the cost to an even greater degree. And much of these pieces of equipment, there's no burden on them. It's just that by law, they have to change them every two years no matter what. In many states, it's every six months. The battery is not necessarily the system, but what they're doing right now is they're actually tossing the whole unit and replacing the units. So I've ended up with probably close to 20 of these fixtures with the lights, with the batteries, with the onboard charging circuit. I don't want to build anything, guys. It's all right there. So just something to think about. Batteries, again, for lighting and for setting up systems like this, you can always unplug the existing conventional incandescent bulb or the ultra bright bulbs that they're using with ultra bright LEDs, not throwing away the originals. You put those in a little kit that go right next to the battery that's being used to charge everything up. And if for some reason the LEDs are deactivated by something, you switch over to the tube system. Anyway, we're at the top all right. Dom, night vision technology. Do you have it? A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. And your daughters visit doctors. So their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores. And send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children? to live in fear and be a slave. O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God, keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave?
