Summary
Mark Koernke discussed firearm regulations, barrel lengths, and legal compliance with AR-15s and short-barrel rifles, emphasizing the dangers of possessing short-barrel weapons due to ATF interpretation and enforcement. He reviewed surplus military equipment from private contractors, focusing on maintenance discipline and proper weapon care. The show featured extended caller discussions about rifle calibers (7.62x39, .308, .223), bolt-action rifle builds, and sources for gun parts and barrels through Gun Parts Corp. Koernke provided detailed technical guidance on rifle configurations, pistol options, and the .50 caliber rifle with iron sight alternatives for optics failure scenarios.

Listen to what I'm, Mark is saying. In fact, if any of you have, I've talked about this before, you don't want any short barrel anything around. Pistol, you don't want to do anything. Why? Because they'll do everything they can to twist and turn and interpret that you have. Also, if you have an AR-15 around, it's a 16 inch or a 20 inch barrel. I'm not even really excited about this other than it's a lot of cold parts. And in this case, later cold parts apparently where the Americans got back hold of it and then they started working right again. If you don't you don't even have to own an m16 type pattern gun the internet 15 or anything You don't have that FFL and you're going to jail for owning a machine gun. You're trying and against interpretation It's a kind of BSA try to pull I know somebody's gonna look at him ago. So they've got a bunch of Croatian AK mags I have never seen croat mags. These are supposed to be supposedly croat manufactured We're at the top of the hour should be hearing the music any minute now right up. There we go. God bless Republic just New World Order. We shall prevail ladies and gentlemen. The Empire's on the run. But we are on the march, folks. Day and night. Dotten number for night vision, please. 3-1-7-9-6-8-4-5-8. God wrote your gun in sight. 53-1-7-9-6-8-4-5-8. Don't touch that dial. We'll be right back. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to him. And we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy will be secured for you. We hope you always keep. Tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. In this, the land is free. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Just to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. Your Christian values can't be taught. You read about the current use in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life comes in control. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan and you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and see we farmed and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be taken care of. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. And the freedoms for which we fought and died. Or don't you have the courage or the faith to speak? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish to take a stand? Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republican each god-given right to torture free. The Iowa key vanished in the midst of whence he came. His words were true, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now his parents trampled each god-given right. We only watched him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer? He called out from the grave. We're in a minute, Don. Well, it's not unbelievable, it just is. Don Betcher, for all of our brothers and sisters on the behind the lines in occupied territories. in the morning, also on LibertyTreeRadio.4mp.com, IndianaFreedomTalkRadio.com, and we are on AM&FM microstations, CB base stations, all marking golden spike technologies east and west of the Mississippi, along with Alaska, which should have a little more sunshine on the horizon there. Might even have just a pinker glint of gold right now as we speak. Don, lay on your neck of the woods. The market is a six day of one hand, and magazine and the other I use the magazine, and the magazine well. We can offer equal opportunity. We've had body armor showing up that look, and then there's even some night vision equipment that's shown up, right? The company that had this was, all of this gear was SO's limited liability mercenary company in Afghanistan, and they were in Iraq, in the United States, who had those AR-15s that beat the living snot out of them. I mean, you know, I've dealt with the surplus, and Don, the surplus companies have, Like here in America they use Mexicans to offload everything and you know, etc. They buy illegal aliens and they also use them to clean stuff up in detail. One thing they say, it's like the Cubans. You want a good paint job down on a plane, you hire the Cubans. Now that's not being no centric in some way. It's just bottom line is they're just rooting for a long time. It still looks like it did when Castro got brought in power down there in Cuba. They have a motor from Germany in it, but yeah. going down the road looking just like what it was bought back in 1958 right off the shelf. Now here's the thing that I've never seen this thing and all you can do, I've even done these guys I have never seen anybody and we're talking with Dust of Ages I've told everybody about this before it's just after a while you know you get like people get weezer they get they get begin to lack. What's noticeable is when you see any of the group pictures of the rifles it's got this like what is that rust why does that picture look fuzzy in spots where it shouldn't? Well that's because, or highlighted where it should. In other words, the catches, crevices, and points. Now the cool thing about it is, this is gonna point out something I've told everybody about for years, about maintenance. And if you wanna understand what happens when you're in the field, you know, the dust of aid, you don't do regular maintenance and you're not good at disciplining your people to do that, oh I'm a professional, you can't tell me thank you, you're going over to KP, you're, you know, congratulations pro. Problem and malfunction and failure. You stay over there. The malfunction crews over that way with the pro-fessions, I don't, I don't. I use them. Well, that's the problem, Schmo. You're in trouble. I don't need around me. This is a parent. This is a mercenary company. They didn't do jack squat with their gear. Have all kinds of problems. Equipment is warned everybody about, but you can actually see this. This is why you carry the maintenance kits and the brush kits with you. You stop. Before you do anything, you're checking your weapon. You're cleaning while you're observing your environment. Remember that we had a call. Hey, Bart. Hey. John good morning, sir. I want to get in here before I end up on the algal hunter again. Good morning. Go right ahead. I got a question. It's a little bit off track, but it's something I've been wondering. 762-Pulp-Done or conventional what action would chamber that if I could find a federal? 762-What? NATO? 308. Wait a minute. You're phasing out for some repeat that again. Go slow. Personal build. There you go. Now, there's a couple of different options right now. If you're trying to build something up and you got a barrel? Yeah, that's what I was looking at, but I didn't know if there was anything that would... Well, there are actually a couple of companies that are making them right now that are making the full guns. If you go to Centerfire, there's some bolt guns that are 7.62x39 that are Euros. A new gun in .223, and I believe they also make it .39. As far as actions go, there are Those are actions out of Europe. Now, I don't know, they're inland, or they're from Norway. But seeing them out there floating about, and those are in the 762 by, they can think, well, they can be whatever you want them to be in. We should work fine in those. They're a little solar magazine. They're designed for the mid-ridges. The action probably can handle up to 308. Mohawks, use 762 by 39, 545 by 39. Steyr made also, Steyr made some of the Communists back during the end of the Cold War. people trying to get over the Berlin Wall or across the German border. Those weapons made in a short stroke action. This is a big old, you know like a model 70 or 700, they're scaled down about probably two thirds the size. to get out in 1300 without any problem. Oh yeah, no you'll tack privately. Plus remember you can buy, and remember it just came in a little bit ago, there was a quantity of it, if you look around you'll find it, 62 by 39 ammunition that your bullets came in for a little bit and then just disappeared, everybody scarfed. You can take that over into a bolt, in addition to just using the standard AK round, you can reach 300 yards comfortably, accurately, for all practical purposes. I mean, performance of the 3030 and the 762 by 39 are about the same. Self factory and distance. One of the other options, depending on that barrel you might have found, if I love them, you might want to get it before you let everybody know. Whether or not you can find a small action Remington Rolling Block, Remington Rolling Blocks, where you can imagine, they drop, they can build, they can take that action, 570, which ever used during the 1800s, marketed that gun as a weapon, an army weapon to, in every caliber you can imagine, everything from 45 all the way up to, forgive me, 8mm Mauser. You could, that was a couple companies making raw beavers like this, you know, just the rolling blocks. I can't think of too many others that would be shell, but there's items out there. There's a single shot Mausberg, actually not Mausberg, Harrington and Richard action. Savage actions, 2x39. Savage made those along with H&R. 2.3, 5.25, 22.250, 22.swift. Thermolyte will build that AR You're gonna be up in the money if you purchase that gun. You're looking to find a place to put that barrel, right? You can build the changes of the AR-50. The way the AR-35 shot is a well-righted magazine. The useful Griffin design, for about $350. Now, barrels would be the issue. Brought this up years ago. Take the Motti Griffin design. Something the bad guys really would hate. uh... take the mighty gryphon design and rifle mighty gryphon bullpup rifle together pretty caliber range geyser's barrels i mean you do it every one two two three thirty nine that's a barrel on a mighty gryphon two two three barrels savage tactical uh... survival gun rifle lower in regard to one side of sheer what model now guys with a gryphon design and mighty gryphon action probably by all the raw steel or equal molly uh... tube for another $60. I could change it out a little bit. Let's put it this way. If I want to start making Motti Griffin type bolt-action single-shot rifles, Picatinny rails are a drug on the market and right now from China, AK-47 pistol grips rather than going with an AR-15 come up a little bit in price and I can't find any used ones for $6. Well guess what? I can get AK pistol grips what? How many? For $2 right now, right? For $3. This is the pistol grip I'd use on the Mahdi right now. So remember that every day, a small rifle that I could put, well you can put whatever link barrel on it you want. And that .22-21 on a Mahdi Griffin home built is, you know, true if I could come up with any number, different way to make it work. You know, the cooling shroud slash the shroud built alone is not going to affect the barrel. Congratulations, poop, you're done kids. And that would be a driving monster. And every caliber you want in a short, so think about it. How long are those barrels? They're $24 a piece and start this way. It's cork dom. My goodness, they got a whole bunch of Remington stuff, everything else. And they do have a whole bunch of other barrels that they, for instance, seven millimeter Mauser barrels for $45 a piece, which is not bad. And the Mauser barrel, remember, doesn't have a gas port, guys, so that's a barrel to work with. But if I go through, let's go a little farther back, because boy, they got a bunch of other Beretta barrels that just came, we were just talking about Beretta earlier in the day here. talking while we're doing this on the air and trying to get it find it in the process. Well, as long as you're looking for that, let me mention three of those barrels, three barrel jettling guns, one and ejecting. The reason you have six for cooling, you have to fire, send air, send it back to a firing station, and that's all you really need to build a two guys and, you know, imagine the whole- But not every reason they guys- Touch it! Roamer work guys if you're looking for grips for some handguns you might have Seven dollars and ninety five cents for a placement set Roamer work again you name it. It's in here There's a whole bunch of them and remember that a lot of these if you're familiar while there might have been 500 different pocketable companies out there gun companies just like they were bunnies And you can do that through gun parts corps through their car their catalog They've got all the gun parts parties. You've never heard of it. I probably mentioned some right here. Um, duh Marlin you recognized that probably not selecting Romer work Romer work. Yeah, did a bunch of imports back in the day Fred There's a whole box of guns and some of them have crack hand grips or maybe no hand grip because they in the shuffle somewhere Seven dollars and ninety-five cents. That's a steal for especially a very you know, if you've got a an orphan slash a unique Www.gun parts Corp calm Www.gun parts be an idea. Now. I'm trying to find the barrels originally we're talking about, but they're inventory. They have added a whole bunch of stuff, been picking up somebody else's inventory, guys, and I'm looking, because that's where these other barrels were, and it looks like I'm going to have to probably wait even almost till tomorrow to be able to shop properly here. But if I can, and our friends in the chat room might even be helping us out here, that's in for a number of different rifles. So if you're looking for a number of different 4Ms, and in fact, Too numerous to mention. Your best bet is to go to, again, go to gunpartscorp.com, go to new arrivals, see what they have available. If I can get into it that way and maybe get the right one. There we go. Now, search for meat barrels. Show me what you have. Oh, vitamins. One thing about Gun Parts Corp, guys, the reason is, well, Mark, why don't you go right to it? The problem is, is thousands and tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of items, okay? They do have a number of Marlin barrels that they got in, .22 caliber for $54 a piece. Every variation you can imagine, so if you were looking to build a .22, which is not exciting, you know, we don't talk much about .22s, why? Well, what's the price of .22 ammo? Where's it gone to? Competing with everybody for all that ammo, what you're looking at price-wise, you might as well build yourself up a... for the same, you know, for a reasonable price and ammunition is, you know, no worse, no better, no worse with regard to the cause. As it is, I know the barrels are there, but I'll tell you what we have mentioned along here, they're $24.95 apiece. Now they have a couple of 17 caliber barrels and they also have... I hear the bottom of the art breaking, so you're just gonna buy me some time. Alright! Well, take me a little bit of time. Yes, we are. You know how it works. The sandbox, you can write numbers in the sandbox. You can write numbers on the sandbox. You can write numbers on the sandbox. You can write numbers on the sandbox. One way or another, you can write down and remember these numbers. We'll be right back. Ryan McMullen here talking to you about the immune system. Available at participating health food stores nationwide. This is my school friend. Yeah, I love me too. Yeah, then everybody could tune in. We're going farther just to make sure people have it benchmarked in the archives. My number is 231-231-7. Why there's this fellow in his weapons. He might be in Minnesota. I'll have to nail that down for you. I'm pretty certain it's actually a fact, possessive in the paper and the gun and the guy who fought, didn't we? We did. I thought I'd mention that. That number is... guards in night vision, talk to Dom, why are you with a stranger, when you can come on the phone, ask questions, get answers. By the way, on the Ebola, nobody probably caught. The affected countries are asking the exposure to Ebola, please stop eating fruit bats, and just a notice for all of you people out there who might be in the affected areas, please stop eating fruit bats and roadkill. So anyway, the fruit bat population is being partially blamed, the fruit bat is being blamed for the Ebola breakout. from one direction and road kills from the other. Dark, oily-looking meat that's kind of chewy, serrated leather. Anyway, it's fruit bat. What do you expect? Yes, number four out of New York, if you can hear me. Very good. We got you, sir. Yes, I got a couple of questions. I've been hearing you talk about the longer barrel, but when you went to the handgun, I think the reason you didn't want the longer barrel is because of confusion between the HES trying to compensate. convince people that that the rifle not a pistol well no no no no no what is talking about is with rifles okay here's the thing uh... if you have an air fifteen and a lot of people are been told because of the watching movies have been seeing all these technical magazines you have to believe short barrel that has a muzzle flash the size of an elephant so what happens is people by the short system back in the seventies the back baguettes were watching for people buying the short barrels and they would try to attack you for having an air fifteen complete Even just the bear like that. You don't have to have a seer just the barrel would make it a violation blub blub blub blub So here's the basic rule don't put one of those on your weapon Don't put a picture out with one of those on your weapon What we're talking about here is you can take a regular air 15 lower put any upper on it you want They're even selling all of them. You can go like I said, I go to apex gun parts right now. They just got a commando You don't put that on your weapon If you put that on your weapon, you're in violation. It's that simple. The back baguettes will jump on that. But if you even have it around the back of the feds, any parasite trash that's got an alphabet soup letter on it, if they don't do it themselves, they'll go, oh, oh, we got guns here. ATF, ATF. And then bring the ATF in. And the ATF lies. They'll either claim, oh, yeah, they could readily eat all this, which are wedged well. Again, you do drop two pins. So my point is, if you buy something like that, And I'm telling everybody on the air, I'm telling Uncle Mark is talking to his friends and his relatives. If you have the short barrel, 14, you know, 14 inch, 11.5 inch, 9 inch, oh my god, I don't have an air of 15. You're looking at pistol bank length barrels on what is a stock weapon system. Well, you take that part if you bought it. If you decided you just had to have it, your panties were burning for it, your hair is on fire, your mind is a wash, I must have that 11.5 inch air 15 barrel. Take it and you put it somewhere else completely away from everything that you own and another location. I just explained the basic rules. Why? Because why fabricate? They will do whatever they can and they will waste your time. Now granted, if they attack your property, they're going to do that any way no matter what but if the tools are there you want to if you buy it you put it somewhere else I don't see any use for it I think it's wonderful like I said people have different ideas if you go that small you're going pistol range then go the pistol route and be done with it but even there it's like you know I don't make sense to use a 223 we're a pistol anything you're not getting any major penetration well even if you go up to 308 in a pistol like they make an HK TR 91 A-tier 91 with a hacked barrel, uses a gray-nord mag, has no stock, and has a hanger at the back so you can hook it up to your gear. If you get to that point where you think you need something like that, then you go with a shotgun and you go with a big slug, and that blows things out of doors, off hinges, blows out, you know, handles and all kinds of fun stuff. Otherwise, it's a gross waste of munitions to be using that .308 Shorty when there's something the same job and still get it. I agree with your rifle, it should be the longest barrel to see. I was referring to when you made comments about the 1911 long barrel because I thought a 1911 was a 10 inch barrel would be better than a 1911 was a 6. Well, again, it's mission. I've got a friend, he's almost 7 foot tall. He loves those little chubby barrel 45 with a... he's made them with a stack magazine. He fits his paw. I mean his hand varies. His hand just... But when he carries that pistol, it literally is like it's another finger. I mean, it fits really, like I said, they're chubby stuff. He points that, it's like, boom, boom, it's a natural extension of his hand. And he has four of them, he carries two all the time. Little choice thing. My attitude is, I prefer the five inch barrel, or if I can get the long slide hardballers, which we used to buy these things for, we used to buy 45s for 150 apiece all day. And we had purchasing A-West, they go to all the gun shows because they were dealing at the gun shows. and we told them if they brought back any 45, any 45 we didn't care what it looked like, we didn't care who's manufacturer if you could get it for $150 bring it back and we'll buy it. Well, we got hardballer 1911's AMTs for 150 apiece longslides. If I can get a long slide I'd carry a long slide. The problem is you don't hardly see any of them and now well everybody wants. If you're needing less space in other words it's like anything else you need a heidi gun or you fit your body. Here's another thing a guy that weighs a hundred and 10 pounds soaking. Big frame 45 model 27 is not his mission in life. You know, and he doesn't fit if you put it under cover. Unless you put it the smaller your back and that's still for the size of the person you need to scale you're going to do it as a concealed piece. It's purely a matter then of does it fit the needs of the mission what you're doing. Well you might be a carpenter to want to make a checklist because he's only got one bullet. Right. Exactly. The other thing is On a 50 caliber, can you get iron sights on it? Because I saw that you can get a 36 inch long barrel, and if something goes wrong with the uncertain, I'll be able to use the iron sights. They've got add-on iron sights for just that purpose, if your optics go bad. You can actually pull the optics and they've got a, it's actually, what it reminds me of, the ones that I've seen the guys build, it reminds me of the add-on rifle grenade sights that were put in the carbine and the garand that slap onto the side of it. It's a self-contained, you know, siting system all by itself where it literally just drops on and you have a barley corn and a post. And that would be good out to medium ranges. Again, iron sites, Watson's I think even offer something, don't they? I've looked at a lot of 50 caliber sites and I've never seen any options on their website. Do we have Don there still? Oh, okay, here we go. Boy, I couldn't hear you there for some reason. Go ahead. Okay. In addition to the role where you would And the last thing Mark, on those gas masks that you were talking about, what's the, is the Liberty Provide mark at Liberty Provide to send a note to you? And the other thing is, what about, I want to send you a care package, what's the address for that? MC Corn Key. I think that's the same one that's on the website, I just want to make sure I have the information. That is correct. Big thing here, first of all, the iron sights on the 50, full of different techniques, in fact, I think some of you have made an aiming tube. system. I have not seen that recently again, but somebody actually came up with the idea, if things go bad, you still need something to put that bullet somewhere within intermediate to short range, rather than guessing over the barrel if your optics are blown. Or if you decide to go just away from the optics, like Don said, if it's got a picatinny rail on the roof, even though your perspective would be very different, the orientation wouldn't be correct to the point of departure, you know, muscle into the weapon. A picatinny rail on the roof of the receiver with a short application of a pop-up front and rear sight, reasonable accuracy. Yeah, I was thinking that where's the case scenario, the options are shot and at least you can take out maybe a bigger target like a motor block or something like that. Exactly. Well, you're placing it into an engine compartment or you're placing it into the driver's compartment if you're looking at a wheeled vehicle. You know, it would get you where you need to be. It were, you know, those long, long shots we've talked about. But there again, if I had the iron sights only and if I felt golf ball something in, let's say I've got a, an example, you see a platoon of troops in an area, you've got groups of men that are traveling and they decided to cluster this time and again. Oh, I'd golf ball a 50 in even if I had iron sights. I'd remember the hit is, I wouldn't care if I hit them in the toe. The idea that once you dump a round, there's maximum range into somebody like that, float them down real quick and think twice when that guy's head goes pop like a melon, abdomen, that it might decide to scut into the ground or tumble some other direction. For bodies there and you hit somebody, everybody else's going to go, they ain't going to be me with a second bullet coming in and they'll disperse and go tactical. And if you do that at maximum range, as we've always said, using your enemy to expend energy, but conserve until they got within what they considered their heavy rifles, that's their job, to disperse or to slow down and restrict. They'll even return fire. They'll have weapons that can't reach you and they'll return fire. People will just automatically do that. It'll be like, I heard the kabob, it's over there, some people will just burn. In fact, some will burn whole magazines. Well, that's another magazine that can't reach you. A bunch of them will probably fire and return fire and all that ammunition they can't recover. And they're now tactically deployed and they're trying to maneuver against something that can reach them before they can reach us. That's the purpose behind it.
