However, they have DPMS AR-15A3 carbines used condition. Now these require an FFL cannot be shipped to California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, the District of Criminals, Puerto Rico, or Cook County, Illinois. In other words, places where the communists occupy heavily and the skanks in charge need to be haunted. So pretty straightforward there. Anyway, these are in used condition. Now pay attention here. Limited quantity. These rifles may have minor issues. Front sight post could be broken. Eehh? Ejection port door could be broken. Eehh? Buttstock sling swivel could be missing. Okay. So, in other words, they're used. Meter rifles, take a look at this ad. If that's going to float your boat for $450, it's up to you. But, uh... All the other information is there. You can buy a complete AR-15 kit for less than that right now, but still you got to buy the lower and you got to go through all the other hassle with the paperwork there. So it's your choice. This is a fixer-upper rifle that basically is field grade. Typical where we've been talking about what's going to show up after all the regular old surplus is gone. Well, it'll be clunker-junker new surplus like this. So, will you paint it up and fix it? Well, I wouldn't have a problem painting this gun up because it's got all kinds of stock wear, it's got all kinds of metal wear, you know, it's got finish worn because it's been carried, bounced around, whatever. So, it's not a big deal taking this and camouflage painting it right off the bat with some dollar store camo painter from the hardware, it doesn't make any difference. That's not the super big sale right now, but it is a good, it's on the front page, so you want to take a look at that. There is some ammunition that is reasonably priced, but two items that are in the more great deals section right at the top. AK47, 7.60x39 Korean steel mags, $7 each if you buy three or more. So I'd obviously recommend buying three or more. You get like half a magazine for free this way, right? Anyway, it's $7 per mag. These are steel, Korean, nothing fancy, gray finished, AK47 mags, $7 apiece. However, right next to that is another one of these armorer buys. I'd buy a bunch of the mags to put in your spares for your armorer's kit. Original Yugo Zastava factory made thumb hole stocks. New condition polymer includes rubber butt pad, sling swivel stud, etc. Four complete stock assemblies. That's the pistol grip and the buttstock for $10. Four of them. That's $2.50 a piece. If you're putting an armorer's kit together, remember, something busts, guess what? You put one of these on your rifle's back in service, but of course you'll be replacing both the pistol grip and the buttstock. Now it points something out. These are made for the Yugo, sure, but remember, these are a polymer stock, so armorer trimming to make these fit the socket at the back of the AK receivers would be nothing. Why? It's plastic! It's a $2.50 item if I need to get a rifle back online or if I like the thumb hole stocks, which by the way I do. Guess what? Everything I need to do I'll do to the stud point that's going to be out of sight, out of mind. I can make this fit and I got a brand new stock for $2.50. You can't beat that guys. So again, for you armorers, for you guys that already bought the 5 furs and 10 furs, from Centerfire here's a buttstock for $2.50 a piece you buy four at a time if you buy less than $100 worth of material no matter how many of these you buy it's $6 for the shipping if you buy more than $100 worth of stuff in accoutrements like this it's free so you figure it out $7 a piece for the steel mags $10 for four of these thumb hole butt stocks Wow, that's pistol grip butt stock assembly Monte Carlo cheek piece hole nine yards Can't really beat that. Can you now they do have some 12 gauge double op muck. They've got some seven and a half shot 49.99 for 250 rounds. They do have some other ammunition some tool of steel 55 grain FMJ $230 for a thousand rounds not a bad price for steel case And there's a few other items there. If you don't have an FFL, you're not going to worry about the weapons. But those two big things at the top, the AK-47 mags for $7 and the buttstocks for $10. That's the buttstock and the pistol grip. It's the Zastava, the Yugo thumbhole stocks. Out of policy, you put four of them on the shelf in your kit. You put a footlocker together. We got all those five furs and ten furs last week. They do still have the Romanian pistol grips available. Ten for two dollars. These are gimme throwaways guys. You can't build it. You're saving time just being able to unscrew something busted and put something right back on. What's your time worth? Two dollars and fifty cents? Well hell yes. You can't make this stock for two dollars and fifty cents. Somebody else might have with slaves, but you can't. There's something to consider there. Again, think about So we need to be looking at the idea that we're going to be dealing with this guy's solution, not just complaining about the problems. Oi, oi, oi. Alright, a couple of things. JD in the chat room, a real quick piece here. Yahoo.com, radioactive material. stolen Mexican official see recovered stolen radioactive material recovered in Mexico. Okay, there we go. The theft of a vehicle in Mexico containing a potentially deadly radioactive material briefly raised alarms Friday, but the container was found with no leak or harm to the population. And even if it was, it wouldn't tell you. The truck, which was transporting deadly iridium, A radioactive substance used in making some industrial products has been stolen Thursday. Federal Civil Defense officials said the substance can be dangerous for human health if removed from the container, according to an official statement cautioning that the material could be lethal even if handled for only a brief time. The truck was found shortly after it disappeared, but the radioactive material remained missing. National Civil Protection Coordinator Luis de Depe Puente posted on his Twitter account. Puente. confirmed a few hours later that the radioactive material had also been located. The container was not violated. It contains the material which was measured. He added in an interview with Millennial Television. Millennial, that's Millennium Television. Millennial television, television, we'll see, whatever. As it wasn't manipulated, there was surely no risk to people, Puente said, or Puente said anyway. As it is, authorities ultimately arrested and hospitalized several suspects in the case after recovering the lethal material and hospitalized them. Oh, wait a minute. They were called a similar incident in December when thieves stole a cargo truck containing highly radioactive cobalt-60, apparently unaware of the deadly cargo within the vehicle until they were frying in their seats. Yes, cooking in their underpants, as they say. Oh, well, that happens. You just can't stop it. Sometimes things just happen. Because after all it's just some restricted nuclear to oh man Anyway a couple other things here real quick Now if you have a 223 a can I have not tried these we're gonna switch over to JG sales They do have a 4th of July a couple of 4th of July goodies up here you go M85 a kpap 5 5 6 2 2 3 10 round original you go magazines blue steel $4 apiece Now, if you have a 223AK, you're probably short AK mags all over the place. And while you might have bought a Texas AK Designs.com adapter, which by the way works very well, if you were looking for regular AK mags and 223 guys, For $4 a piece, these could be put online and then of course adapted accordingly. But you're looking at $4 a piece per mag if you bought one of these weapons, one of the M85s in 223 and you're looking for more mags. Well, it appears that one of the few companies that have them, JGSales.com, actually has them in stock right now and they're only $4 a piece. So just a heads up there on that. Also, not that I'm really super excited about these, but the typical $700 CAI C93 HK93 style semi-auto rifles, they've been sticking around $700. Well, they've got a sale on those, they've dropped them down to $500 apiece. No mark, they're $499.95. Yeah, they're $500 apiece, okay? But that's a pretty good price. Mags are not cheap for those. In fact, the HK-223 mag, as is typically the case, is running a little extra change. But if you're really into the HK rifles, or if you want to look like a lot of the state cops, there's an option there. Go ahead, Ed. We're at the bottom of the arm. I do have a break ready for you. When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them. Laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form as to them Shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness Prudence indeed will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes and accordingly all experience hath shown that Mankind are more disposed to suffer while evils are sufferable than to write themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed that when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty to throw off such government and to provide new guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of these colonies and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government. The history of the present king of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world. He has refused his assent to laws the most wholesome and necessary for the public good. He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance. unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained. And when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them. He has refused to pass other laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of representation in the legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable only to tyrants. He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public records for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures. He has dissolved representative houses repeatedly for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people. He has refused for a long time after such dissolutions to cause others to be elected. whereby the legislative powers incapable of annihilation have returned to the people at large for their exercise, the state remaining in the meantime exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without and convulsions within. He has endeavored to prevent the population of these states for that purpose obstructing the laws for naturalization of foreigners, refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither and raising the conditions of new appropriations of lands. He has obstructed the administration of justice by refusing his assent to laws for establishing judiciary powers. He has made judges dependent on his will alone for the tenure of their offices and the amount and payment of their salaries. He has erected a multitude of new offices and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people and eat out their substance. He has kept among us in times of peace standing armies without the consent of our legislatures. He has affected to render the military independent of and superior to the civil power. He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution and unacknowledged by our laws, giving his assent to their acts of pretended legislation. for quartering large bodies of armed troops among us for protecting them by a mock trial from punishment for any murders which they should commit on the inhabitants of these states for cutting off our trade with all parts of the world for imposing taxes on us without our consent for depriving us in many cases of the benefits of trial by jury for transporting us beyond seas to be tried for pretended offenses for abolishing the free system of English laws in a neighboring province, establishing therein an arbitrary government and enlarging its boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these colonies. For taking away our charters. abolishing our most valuable laws and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments. For suspending our own legislatures and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever. He has abdicated government here by declaring us out of his protection and waging war against us. He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns and destroyed the lives of our people. He is At this time, transporting large armies of foreign mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation, and tyranny. already begun with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy, scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy of the head of a civilized nation. He has constrained our fellow citizens taken captive on the high seas to bear arms against their country, to become the executioners of their friends and brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands. He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us. and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian savages whose known rule of warfare is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes, and conditions. In every stage of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms. Our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A prince whose character is thus smart by every act which may define a tyrant is unfit to be the ruler of a free people. Nor have we been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarranted jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our immigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity. And we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred. to disavow these usurpations which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deft to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must therefore acquiesce in the necessity which denounces our separation and hold them as we hold the rest of mankind enemies in war in peace friends appealing to the supreme judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, due in the name and by authority of the good people of these colonies, solemnly publish and declare that these united colonies are and of right ought to be free and independent states, that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British crown. And that all political connection between them and the state of Great Britain is and ought to be totally dissolved. And that as free and independent states, they have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce. And to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right do. And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence. We mutually pledge to each other our own lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor. Of course that was the Declaration of Independence as read and for everybody it is the 4th of July. This is the day that we celebrate officially the signing of the Declaration of Independence and as we know the history of the document and the men who participated in it. benchmark in history. Of course we were already at war for 14 plus months, guys. Don't forget that. That doesn't start the beginning of the American War for Independence. This is simply where the declaration, a declaration slash statement of the reason for hostilities and why they would proceed, since there was no solution on the horizon but the use of deadly force slash coercive force to put down the tyrant yes I think we all know where we need to go with what's happened in the United States right now much for the same reason and is of course the 4th of July it's 540 in the afternoon we're going to go for the two hours here probably we won't be doing the evening 8 o'clock hour because again we figured we'd get a little bit of a vacation time for everybody however this afternoon as a reminder there's a whole bunch of sales going on throughout the system guys take advantage of the 4th of July holiday sales especially in the firearms areas we've been pointing that out you may find something else if you do you can call in again 712-4320-900 and then the room number 957-464-pound sign 957-464-64 pound side in call in and say hi if you want to wish everybody a happy fourth of july also i would point out uh... interestingly enough uh... i don't know if you watch the john adams series by hb o now it was well done in fact very much to be quite honest a lot of it was it took it did the cinematography is across between the hallmark method of the Hallmark series of historical pieces done back in the late 1960s and early 1970s. And the new offset camera, kind of shaky, where the guys bouncing around to give it that Battlestar Galactica, almost kind of, oh you were there, standing off as a fly, shaking on the wall kind of thing. You know, half-images, characters cut partially off of the screen, etc. You might have noticed the cinematography with that. But here's the thing. A lot of stuff was selectively engineered by the powers that were pushing for an agenda with regard to the series. One of the things that jumped out, and I mean really jumped out at me, okay, now, you've got to remember that both Jefferson and John Adams died the same day. Remember 1826, right? Well, 1826. Have you watched the series done by HBO? Now, do you think that for the founding fathers, especially men who had been there, the 76ers, don't you think that they would have carried a little bit of, shall we say, historical reference to the very important fight for our survival in the War of 1812. Did you notice how conveniently they did everything they could to make it appear that John Adams just, oh, he was awed and inspired by King George, who by the way, we might recall a couple things that are missing from there. King George, in court, the official tongue was what? Anybody? Well mark he was a British king yeah, he was known in in England as a what as the German King Anybody remember that? So, one of the things they did there is, of course, you know, good old George is a little starry-eyed when he's meeting Adams. He really kind of loved us a whole lot, even though there were a lot of comments made where he was, again, if you know the actual history, he did everything he could to push the war thinking that we would be a pushover. We go from Adams' time as president to, oh, he's going to die, and no references, no discussions, no commentary on the Second American War for Independence. In fact, every possible way to kind of make you forget about the fact that we're at the 200th anniversary of that, and when this John Adams piece came up, we were coming up to the... Oh, that's right. We were coming up to the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812, the second war between England and the United States. Isn't that amazing how, as I've said many times, it's not what you hear somebody say, but it's the glaring what's missing from an entire subject matter, especially the history of atoms. How did atoms feel about the second American War for Independence? Look at the way that they played this out. Yeah, you know I just kind of got old and persnickety and you know his wife died and you know Yeah, well, it's kind of important, but it wasn't oh well. There are other things You know I mean the war was kind of there and let's not forget that well The East Coast the South Coast the Northern frontier everywhere there was fighting going on Okay, think about it Uh oh. So even if the power goes down, our signal and everything is still up and on a separate circuit. So we're able to monitor the roads, downtown Dexter, many of the other locations where the zombies are in the neighborhoods. especially where we know the safe houses are and the shysters that operate here in the area. So it's cool Mark I posted something on your Facebook timeline some here a double One old lady told me, because I've got a big cucumber and she said it's not ripe, don't pull it yet. A cucumber in the garden? Yeah. Okay, well, if it's not ripe yet, then let it run its course. If you don't want it to go yellow, obviously. You know, it's funny about that. The pickle companies obviously produce, you know, we've got the classic here in Michigan. and they're big producers up around the Saginaw Bay area where the thumb and index finger come together all around that area. That's really rich flatland growing area and they do a lot of pickles up there. They have their own pickling plant for pickles, peppers, everything that they do. Actually they do everything in that particular facility or the facilities there. You might recall years ago because they've always had pickles that get really, really big. But typically they cull them. They don't pick them. They actually would toss them. They leave them in the field. You can pick up bushels of them. In fact, we're going to probably be getting up there for that here pretty soon. We can get all the pickles we want by the bushel for free. They're just not pretty. They're the alien pickles or they're oversized. Well, back about 15 years ago, Blasik decided to try and market them. And so you may have seen these. They made these super-sized hamburger dills that were the size of a hamburger. It actually was a pretty good idea. But what they did is they took these large cucumbers slice them to an 1.8 of an inch thick and pickle them that way and offered them an extra wide mouth jar so you could get them out and everything. They can be, of course, switched over to relish. There's any number of different things you can do with them. But as far as picking them early, as long as she's not yellowing, if it starts to turn, you know, how to watch for, then obviously you want to harvest accordingly. You could pick it earlier. I don't see a problem with that I mean if you will get bigger the thing is if you're making relish you're gonna shoot you know chop it up anyway, so any size really doesn't make any difference purely a matter of how crisp Do you want it how crisp you want the consistency of the relish? But the other option is to do some giant dill pickle slices, which is kind of fun anyway. Only thing is, I'd recommend probably using, depending on the recipe that you do, but you can do slices, you can do cubes, or relish, and any one of them would be neat. I think depending on how big it is, it would be kind of fun to do some mega-death dill pickle slices for the kids. Just make sure again, you put them in the cycle for usage. We use a certain amount of the pickles constantly when Nancy does different salads and stuff to make a potato salad or if you're doing something like that. And then work it accordingly. So personal choice, I mean I understand she's got the right idea. If it's not ready yet, let it go a little farther. But you have to balance that out with how big you want your cucumbers. Well, if the flour is still on the bottom. it hasn't quite fell off yet well that varies depending upon the breed and what you're raising so again i have to look at the uh... you know the specs on the pretty typically i'm not too worried about that i haven't had a problem if you want it again if you want consistency depends what you're looking for you want crisper you're going to pick a little earlier you remember that most everything that you get in the store is picked cyclically a little early and it's it's assumed that's going to ripen to a degree in transit I don't think any, very few of your conventional produce is picked on the right scale. It can't be. And so it's picked usually just a touch early in the cycle, unless it's later in the growing season. And then it's, you know, it figures, they figure in transport time, storage time, etc. You know, our truck drivers have talked about this. A lot of stuff they've been picking in some cases down south has been late. As far as when it's been picked, it's been on the ripe cycle and a lot of the stuff is lost in transit with the trucks. Because of that so it's not going to kill you it's just that you know again you get a better quality product Well it'll you still get as good a quality product if I wanted a crisper pickle I pick it early if I want a little softer if I want to end up you're going to chew it up for a relish Then it's a personal choice thing there you know what kind of consistency you do want do you want you know like when you do potato salad you do a little bit of relish if you want and You know you got that yeah the other consideration you get them too old and then yeah you've got the seeds are toughened because you're going towards the seed stock then And that's the only thing about nnnyang, which is why the big ones when it comes to plastic or any of the pickle companies, why they, again, they're going to want to cut early if they were doing the bigger dills, if they're going to do the bigger dill slices and such. Purely a matter of the breed, too. Some don't firm up and don't necessarily produce. Many of the hybrids are designed to stay softer and to actually be more malleable in that respect, so they can be used. Go ahead. We lose George. No, I just had the mute button not down. We had thunder and lightning here. Yeah, it's interesting. We haven't had any storms, but we've had four power outages. And again, they've been complete power down. So pay attention to your environment this weekend, guys. I think it's rather fascinating. You're getting a storm front down in what part of the state? No, I'm in southeast Texas. I'm about south from where your son is. Okay, so but uh it's good news because when we blast our mortars off Yeah, we're supposed to have rain on and off this weekend George Right in the area where I'm at Right on the coast that supposed to be a lot of rain watch out for them some water spouts Ed Hey Mark you were right about that hurricane that hit North Carolina just hit bounce off wherever came down from here. You deflected it right yeah Well, part of that is rather interesting as was pointed out by Joe. First of all, the storm was an odd man out to begin with and has been rather strange, right? The other thing is this cold front is something that always hits every Fourth of July. I would figure we probably got the snow yesterday in the UP. I haven't talked to anybody yet, but I'll probably get a message. However, like I said, we get one day with snow on the Fourth of July weekend. and most days it hits on the 4th of July. Today has been medium temperatures, so I don't know that it would be quite as cold up north, but yesterday we had a major cold snap that came in, didn't kill the plants, but it was definitely quite a bit cooler to the point where if you weren't prepared and you were outside, I could see people with hypothermia problems. So, I mean, if you're out and you're exposed, you got wet, and then you're out there with the temperature last night, yeah, you'd have to watch it. But that did also push again across the Pennsylvania corridor right there. So that probably was what helped to buffer and push that storm front back out and away. Not that the storm front wasn't dynamic, and I guess there might still be some energy there somewhere. Go ahead. Mark, what would match if that hurricane went right up the Potomac River? Washington DC. I think Washington DC got flooded out because it was swampland before... it was that's why but they're but they're again they've uh... there have only been all what maybe in the last century about five major storms that have come up of the river like that that have come up with the comic and even there i can remember at least in the seventies we had one flooding incident remember in the nineties after they put in the fpr monument remember they had the power outage issues in the probably fpr monument and the uh... Korean War Veterans Monument is they're both in lowland spots where they need to pump the water out constantly. And between the additional water coming in, both of those monuments, remember, were flooded when they were first put into place by storms coming up from the Atlantic. So this is not something that hasn't happened in recent years, it has. It has happened in very recent years. Through the 90s, at least a couple times, more dynamic, I think, at least to the one early storms in the 80s. and then going back to the big storm and earthquake cycles we had, remember, back in the early 60s. Remember we had the Alaskan Fairbanks and the Alaskan earthquakes that took place when it came right up and down the coast. Because when one end of that ledge is affected, usually it goes right across and wraps around the Pacific. That's exactly what it did. But we also had a lot of unique storms during that window of activity too, all around the North American continent. and a lot of flooding and some major hurtful tornado fronts that hit the country too, especially in the Midwest and in the plain states. So, it's not only like it's new, it happens, I haven't paid attention to what the actual cycle is, probably a 17 to 24 year cycle, something like that, go ahead. Well, I heard when the last decade of those earthquakes they had a tsunami too that I hit, I heard. You're talking about the latest one. No, this is back in the... Back when they... when you have the classic picture shows the earth shifting about 10, 12 feet. Uh oh, we're at the top of the first hour already. Man, time is flying today. It really is.
