And because of that, there was a whole lot of great music that was re-re-resurrected from the period and done in a number of different formats and modernized in many ways. There's another solution. There's more music to pull from. And again, Horton, well, you might remember, did, you know, the Biz Mark. Okay, Sink the Biz Mark. Those are songs you might remember from your past if you're old enough. Battle of New Orleans. Oh, yeah. There's a whole bunch of stuff that can be drawn from the archive there, done in very good quality, very well-performed, and very well-engineered. So it lends to re-recording, re-broadcasting without any problem, reproducing medium, and many number of sources. A lot of stuff you will find on YouTube that you're going to have to make up a system to pull it down off YouTube. One of the little tricks there? Well, you use your speaker output, run that to another sound recording system, and... Oh, that's right, you don't need to use the computer for everything. You don't have to burn it off the computer. Pull it off the sound system. That's what we've done for years with anything else we're doing. You've got a mixing board from the computer and the mixing board. Run it through the mixing board, take it out to something else it records. But that would be cheap, no it's not. That's how we always used to do things. I don't know why everybody's confused on that. I would remind everybody that older technology really hasn't changed at all. It's just somehow we got people untrained on this. So be creative. There are many ways to do it. Take a look at the jack for your speakers on your computer. Feed out from there. That feed out is going to give you whatever sound that speaker system would normally be broadcasting to you from your computer. That goes into your recording device. It could be a e-burner or a slasher, it could be a cassette player. Well Mark, cassette? Yeah, I use cassette. I've got cassette still and in fact I've been collecting cassette machines. Because people have been getting rid of some machines that are worth thousands of dollars and used to be hundreds or thousands of dollars back in the day. Name pieces of sound equipment? Oh, not in a heart beat, I'll grab those. without any problem at all and that's why everybody needs to be thinking ahead guys because you know what down the road you got the technology you've got the you've got a medium you got material but you don't have anything to play it on well that's only because you fumbled the ball and if you're a radio station you better have all the above they better be hooked up they better be ready to go because remember you're going to be taking over as DJ's some point something's going to happen you're going to be local you may not be able to get it get something in from the outside world you're going to be taking over somebody runs up and says oh jesper Well guess what, rather than having to switch it on PD, or you have the cassette right there, player, you can plug the cassette up, you know, cue it, and then we've got a special report here from PBN and you play what's there, and everybody hears first hand what was said and it's timely. But that's because you thought ahead and you have the hardware in hand to get the job done. That would mean we use our brainy thingy. Yeah, let's use our brainy thingy and get it done right.
