And then you can even sort it out later. right now get a big plastic barrel put a garbage bag in it big fit on plastic bag bring the stuff get the stuff in and once you get it bag it up yet again in another bag put it inside the garbage bag and put the barrel lid on when you're not you when you're not doing anything you know roll up the plastic garbage bag inside keep everything as dry and as clean as possible and then put the barrel lid back on okay congratulations now you're ready to go next step is you buy the next item. Well, then you put in the barrel, same thing again, repeat, repeat, repeat. For the time you're done, you can have pretty much everything that you need stored and on site. Now, personally, I sort it better, and that's where you get into the 5-10 thing. Set each system up so that there's five sets of Europe, five sets of Mali here, whatever you're gonna do. Three, at least three pairs of pants, three pairs of shirts, three shirts per number for each person, pants, t-shirts. By the way, on t-shirts, You can go to resale or to these big, you know, non-stop. I buy t-shirts for 15 cents a piece by the rubber band put around them and they go into the, it's full, that goes in the barrel and that gets forgotten about. Shirts and underclothing are going to be one of those items you're going to wish to God you bought more of. Socks the same way. Socks are a shortage item even in the surplus system right now, guys. I know because I've been doing this for years. Years. Decades. fitted whole armies and right now couple things they never thought they'd run out of the never thought they'd run on holding shovels they never thought they'd run out of this is a surplus industry they never thought they'd run on a poncho the poncho other than that buying real surplus ponchos don't exist all you can get them for a whole bar i can buy them for forty eight dollars guys they used to be a gimme item at a dollar eighty five to two dollars three dollars five dollars wholesale $5 got you one that was usually an exotic foreign camouflage. It was a real military camouflage like Malaysian, which was a really cool camel pattern. If you can find it, you can't find it anymore. Point is that the safe through with a lot of other items, they're now making direct copies. Wool blankets. No wool blankets left in the system that are original military hardly, and the ones that are out there, they're charging god-awful prices for it. What are they doing now? They're now making copies of military surplus blankets and offering them to the surplus market and they ain't, they're not a $6 item anymore or a $4 or $5 item. Now they're a wholesale, they're a $20 item. Mark, that's four times and five times the cost. Yes. So again, shop around. look through the system. You will find a lot of material and equipment reasonably priced and your 5-10 program can even include helmets. By the way, steel piss pots, any kind works just fine. Remember that most of their patterns for also putting helmet covers on them. There's a lot of decent head camouflage patterns out there that are helmet covers. Right now the French reversible brown on one side, green on the other leaf pattern covers are red that are coming up right now. There's a bunch of Bulgarian and Hungarian piss pots. Plus there's Kevlar. If you want to spend more money, here's the thing. Three years ago, four years ago, when I told everybody to buy those Kevlar helmets, we could get them pretty. We're $26 to $35 apiece. Well, now the average price is what? And those were real Kevlar helmets. They were German. Some American, mostly German, were American bought overseas. And they weren't the plastic copies. They were real Kevlar helmets. $75, $85 plus or minus, go to this guide. The most affordable, if you want a Kevlar helmet, the most affordable for basically the same model helmet, Serbian Kevlar helmets are coming through right now. I think they're around $45 a piece. Go to Sportsman's Guide. They've got like an odd blue color. Go to them, OD Green Paint. Also, your Kevlar helmet covers will work on those. They've got a little different step. More like the newer generation Kevlar helmets that are presently being issued. However, they will work just fine with these inexpensive camouflage covers that are to Woodland. Watch for somebody who's got a guat, a pile of the Kevlar helmet covers in Woodland. If you're going to the desert pattern, remember right now mainmilitary.com, they've got like 10 or 12 for $5 or $4 or whatever it is for. They can't beat that price. I mean, come on. And again, if you look around the three colored desert, like you know, Monday deployment. The three-color desert will work just fine. There's a lot of material and equipment out there. But a 510 program ensures that either A, you can outfit a whole new unit, you build a whole bunch of people up, you can literally outfit them from top to bottom and it takes minutes, not days. You can also resupply as needed. If you are a militia unit and you have, of course, people in the field, you are going to wear things out. Now, I've also recommend you buy more for yourself anyway. And the reason is if you have a piece of equipment and you're buying it cheap right now and you like it, I highly recommend that you pick up a second and make a complete second set for your safe. Why? Stuff gets worn out. Things get burned. Things get blowed up. It doesn't have to be even on you for that to happen, you know what I mean? So for that reason, you need to make sure that you've got a, and if you like it, you're going to be using it for a period of time and you stay in the battle. And over a period of time, you're going to wear it out. Build a second one up and then build a third one up and then build a fourth one up accordingly. Again, what you're also doing is enhancing the 510 program from another direction. In that one at a time, we're building an entire system and putting it in place. Now, canteen covers. Water, water, water, and by the way, water. On your basic fighting load, at least two canteens. We're carrying a date pack. Throw two more canteens on the left and the right of the date pack. So you pick your Mali system. We got hanger straps everywhere. Couple more canteens. At least four 1-quart canteens or water bottles, whatever you want to call them. The Campbell packs are okay, but the Campbell packs, they take a hit, they take a hit and they're done, and all your water's gone. So distribute your water into multiple containers. They can be lightened up, there's different ways you can do that, I wouldn't mess with time, but if you're trying to shave a few ounces here and there to add ounces in other directions, there are other tricks. bottles that are out there to have two cells and covers like with the MOLLE gear. The MOLLE canteen covers can handle a little bit of expansion which is pretty good. The US squad quart canteen covers are going to using the standard can. And by the way again there's tons of the oldie green older Alice gear in the canteen covers, mag pouches, first aid kits, you can find butt packs system but start picking it up when you find it cheap. And you can go through all these sites and say oldie green. Then go through and look for all the clearance and closeouts first. Or if you're going woodland camel, go through all the clearance and closeouts everywhere you can and price compare. When you see 10 furs and 20 furs and 50 furs and it comes down to a dollar or an item or less, you can't beat that. That's what you need at least when you're getting a glut of this and somebody has some of it here, but they don't have all of what everybody needs there. So they're not moving it because maybe it isn't their niche. Also, it's not in the latest magazine. I don't have multi-smoky, pure cam. Oh, you don't have multi-smoky, pure cam? Oh, that you can't fight a war. We couldn't fight any war until we had multi-pure, pure cam. And when we got the pure cam, when we found out there was die-fure cam, and the new die-fure cam is so much more important than the other, because it's five times as expensive as a uniform. And with nothing like multi-cam, which is only three times as expensive. So I spent more money on my camouflage. Lots more. Well, that kind of fashion statement. Yeah, there's cool stuff out there, but you know what? I ain't worried about a fashion statement. More important is understanding deep logistics and being of your people in the field. Again, don't worry about making a fashion statement on W.R.K. I'm not a fighter. I'm not a work here. I'm a fighter. Yeah, I know. That's why I want you away from me.
