Summary
Mark Koernke discussed preparedness, communications infrastructure, and military occupational skills. He covered satellite uplink technology and cell phone capabilities for video streaming during emergency situations, referencing lessons from the Bundy Ranch deployment. Koernke explained how civilian job skills cross-reference to military occupational specialties (MOS) and college credit opportunities for veterans. The episode focused extensively on two-meter radio communications, terrain effects on signal propagation, and practical methods for conducting area frequency surveys to optimize radio performance in local regions.

Keep your teeth and gums healthy with Vitamer toothpaste and mouthwash. Vitamer. Nature's answer to healthy teeth and gums. And remember, It's all completely natural, available, and participating in health food stores nationwide. Your money, what is it worth today? 1913 is worth only $2 today. Those were torn and dirty as you stood. You fought a revolution to shield from tyrants. For future generations, this is like we secured for you. We hoped you'd always keep tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave to the free. You buy permits to travel. and permits to own a gun. Just to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate and your Christian values keep in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken, you've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and see and keep our country deep in death. Put men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters, as if your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores, and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish to kill fear and be a slave? Sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. End the Constitution. The Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republic and eat God's given right. And pray to God. His eye awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now his parents trampled each god-given right. We only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer? He called out from the grave. closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters and occupied territories. Like we're at the network in the morning we're also on Liberty Tree Radio dot 4 mg dot com. We're on Indiana Freedom Talk Radio dot com. AM and FM micro stations, C, and Mississippi along with Alaska. We're in the hallmark network from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida across the mark of the Gulf of Mexico, headed Louisiana, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska. We've been in our friends in the recall status where we have a great state of Jefferson We turn back to the east we cross planes of our King makes of the Mississippian land in the smoking slice food regimes in the mob, elagramma consortium retired telecommute. Tell you what we got moisture if you've got tropical plants those tropical plants are going yeah! Numb this and they do. And so be at socialist occupation. Mayan boom calendar. Of course the Mayans are out of hogan. Notre Dame is Scooby. Dick Adamus man. Pee. and the tea leaves and then boil them and drink them and whoa you go cross-eyed man and then you start gibberish dude and everybody we write it down scroll down what you've seen like an LSD chip and then you know like in the meanwhile some mezcaline you wouldn't exactly be going wow man he's so inspiring well wait actually we did back in doing that and cuckoo could you I am the walrus well don't worry way before all the ones in the 60s and 70s we had Nostradamus man yeah his vision were so nebulous you can apply them to anything. By the way, there's also a couple of different obscure, not to say, we prefer Chinese authors that are some waiting in the wings on the horizon just in case. Oh Doom, did you read the writings of Chao Bu, Bun Chao, Chao Bun Dai Ying? If you haven't read, Jung Bao Bu, Dang Ding Bai? She's blah blah blah blah. I wanna really be able to understand and pronounce. I think they're gonna lean towards Notre Dame-ous-man and the Y. Well, It's the Euro thingy, you know, they got more Euro wars going on, they got Christian out. When they get Christian to kill, the Jewish mob's got that going. So, and play on both sides, by being on both sides. They always pull out a whole bunch of people who aren't communications Tuesday, by the way, too. One of the things we're looking at, standard configuration trailer now, crank out signal key Bundy deployment, port accommodation for, you know, toilet kind of thing, just keep a self-convention bench, and production to the DVDs, CD, burners, etc. Now behind this is when you move into an area, battle the camera pods and everything else that are being cameras and to do detail work. Copies will be burned as we are carriers. We'll go with a basic rule when we've gotten into standoffs, when we've done video standoffs in the 90s. Guys, remember we had to use VHS tape to be plugged into a machine copy to copy. The other master copy goes when they get out away from the time we did have intersystem possible. Duplicating the day of victory. Waco had the Davidians we all know to do now which is everything in front of you. Camera operators are shot because they've got a horse. When they jumped out of the dogs, they shot at the house, they tried to reverse the propaganda which all had been caught, had equipment taken from them because they were in the offensive, they really wanted to come in and rape, kill, pillage, and burn. There's only one side and you've got all the video to show the criminal enemy who decided to come in and wage war so you wage a lot of war back and you thump them hard. The important thing now is between satellite uplink Well, here's something that I actually have to touch on there. Mark, how can we do satellite uplink? You know, most people haven't really been thinking this through. We have satellite uplink at our disposal and actually for a pretty reasonable price. How many of you have globe sat... Okay, let me ask you something. Do you have a cell phone right now that can transfer video data from one place to the right? Well, yeah. Have you thought about the global type systems that do direct satellite... You mean to say that we actually have a system that we could integrate video region? I thought about that. Now for those of you whoa whoa whoa, it would be different really. You're right now using 800 meg to sell, you're sending text left and right. I don't have a problem with that, more on that in a minute. Because hey, we're practicing typing again but not really because we're doing it with a little pen and we're playing with a keyboard that's the size of, you know, it's a mouse keyboard. A mouse, literally not a mouse like a computer mouse like you're playing with a tail. wireless talking about you're playing with a mouse keyboard we used to joke about this now you got one okay but remember that if you have a satellite capable or satellite world capable cell phone system as you have satellite uplink and it's not that expensive for what it can do satellite uplink phone other pieces of technology and even become quite sophisticated multiple camera stations you could send out anywhere or to individual face screens or that would actually send out a data stream with all of the imagery from all of the angles simultaneously and live stream it in real time or close enough that nobody know the difference they'd at least be getting it within a you know like will allow for a time delay processing you know again depending on the speed of the technology of both ends okay it's either on time plus or minus eight to twelve seconds or on time three minutes. Not bad though considering that you're going how many thousand miles, how many thousand miles out and through the ground system and it will be above. Think about it. There's no reason for any kind of wave type action to be in a vacuum. Now eventually I will remind everybody satellites are military tools no matter who owns them. Any difference? Given point, the realization these phones are doing what we want them to do and they would be shunted. Now everybody when I say that goes, look that's so disheartening, no it's common sense. Tools in your toolbox you have to understand how each of them apply. Let me give you an example. Your half inch wrench will break with proper torque. Oh Mark you're so disheartening my wrench will break. If I put my, if I put that box wrench on something and I stick a cheater bar on it because first Well, it can't quite do the job. I don't have the physical force myself, you know, direct applied energy to that limited bar I've got on there without the cheater bar. So then I decide, man, I'm gonna apply more torque. Well, the problem is that, Mr. Oxidation, so many different things can be an issue with regard to why that bolt won't move. So I decide to apply more torque slash energy from using leverage. And all of a sudden you're, ah, snap. And my wrench failed. Well, what's the surprise? The wrench has only so much of a tolerance with regard to its crystalline structure and it's going to eventually fail. It happens. It's going to wear out too, by the way. Oh, by a marty! No! It's a tool! Same is true with anything else you're using. I don't care how good, I don't care how much money you spend, I don't care how well built it is, it has a fixed time on this planet, kids. Well, the same is true with combat operations, only it's worse because it's compressed. Anyway, when the bad guys figure out that they gotta try and, you know, stop something, eventually they will, but in the meantime, you gotta use it and run that puppy into the ground. We're gonna go to break. Grab the coffee, smell, taste. Whoa, that is the stuff. Ooh, fresh roast in the morning. We'll be back in just a little bit here on The Rock. In America, politicians are about to vote on the creation of a police state and a permanent state of war everywhere on our team, including the homeland, Bank of Europe. The US Senate will be voting on a bill that will give this president and every future president the power to order the military to pick up and imprison without charge or trial civilians anywhere in the world, including America. Over that again because it may seem insane or unfinished at first. The American president wants the power to arrest and detain anyone anywhere indefinitely without charge or trial forever. Yes, it still sounds insane. Pray the country. get high-powered rifle, be prepared for that, organize our equipment, train as militia. Remember all of you guys have served in the military in one form or another over a period of work in this. There's no difference between what you do inside and what you do outside in the military sector. Now let me give you an example of that real quick. Oh, he's in the military, he did fill in the blank. You know, there's a military cross-reference book that's done, but there's one book that goes from this direction. You have a job, you have a skill. you do a certain type of job, okay? You're fantastic at doing that job. In fact, you're outstanding at doing that job. Well, if you were to go to the military, they would cross-reference and see what the MOS, Primary Military Occupational Skill, or just plain MOS, Military Occupational Skill, cross-references with that fine job you had in the civilian sector. And lo and behold, there is a counter, or an applicable series of MOSs that would suit uh... military and would provide you with a mechanism for a contract to become a for a sailor or an airman or a marine blob of love of life now depending on how much skill you have uh... animal schooling for instance cross referencing mechanisms especially for the officers corps most people don't know this many people are direct commissioned from their many times over the years i haven't talked about this for a while but some of the guys i served with one was a uh... and the uh... m o s i he what what what happened is now you start working with the sf greta human the new boys and the inner lieutenant police state are doing one thing but their kids areas of interest from another direction what america was war america unless you know what kind of control free communist garbage is now i like it so much playing around with the going in the field and found out more about what the military was like the men's arms said i'd like to get in the military well lo and behold they offered him a bonus uh... joining and he went in as a major with regard to his education based and direct app all your jobs like that you're a first order we're military most you don't know this any of you have a series of amalel people as and as mls secondary military act you actually qualified for college uh... college hours right off the bat the average individual with anywhere from what will go to the lower scale in all the different mls is for instance i had a whole number of different PMOS, uh, yeah, forgive me, PMI, Secondary Military Occupational Coordinator, blah blah blah, there's a whole, there was a whole pile I'd always, you know, qualified for, one of them being through, that was because I could have gotten into the flight seat, uh, glasses, gotta remember guys, I have the Navy, right into the arm, into the second seat, as a navigator, come through the paperwork, looked at that, about the time that happened, somebody had to worry about that, but those, uh, all that you have in whatever job, The average person coming out of the military right now probably has between 42 and 56 college credit hours that are applicable to the United States. Did you know that? For any of you young people or anybody who's been in service, your PMOS, your primary military occupational skill, a cross-referencing data, data line to show what the value of your PMOS is along with other tracks of education you did while you were in the military. Another reason they can have a copy of your 201 file obvious reasons your 201 file which I have a direct copy of everything there one thing I was taught when I was coming into service by all the old farts who said hey listen don't trust the regime they will pull stuff from files they will make things disappear. So smile and wave at anybody stupid statement the clue about what's really going on with what you did in the military original copy of everything. In many cases they clean the 201 files out well they're supposed to offer them to you whether or not they're doing that properly or i don't know but remember all of those are worth college credit so if you see all of your single over the military you know the difference between what the job you're probably doing right now in the one of the military is you're not wearing uniform so don't do that calling and these guys in the military they felt different important though they're just the same as you and me in fact uh... in many cases in our united in uniform and not be twice other than giving you something that they called back in the, actually this program was in place, it was called Minuteman Program, guys. Two solid weeks of compressed basic training and congratulations, you already have a skill, we hire you, you should know your job, right? Diploma, Track Maintenance Mechanic, Doc, Military Standard, and two weeks compressed, oh my God, I'll run your arse to death. And then after that, congratulations, you're active, two-week tour for the year. No, that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about a two-week compressed Minuteman program. Mostly for people with two combinations. People coming in because they had a critical MOS they needed and they needed to get them into the job now. A lot of experience, but they had to run, oh by the way, this is what the military does. A lot of people were in that situation, especially the early to come back, you know, because hey, jobs are tight in the 70s, uniform, that's A lot of guys with combat experience came back in. Of course that pissed off a lot of the next generation of paper pushers who didn't want the competition from the combat veterans. A lot of retirement points built up. When you have all those awards and you have all that time and overseas, if you have internment and retirement points were, probably that's the part where you have them in the military. Knowing the bureaucracy, you know about anything as far as well, weapons systems. The average American knows more about weapons, the gun aficionado, than anybody you'll run into in the military other than a handful of people. And the characters are called operator so narrow that the vote for the moment they know other than that uh... anyway well people communications and feel crap the uh... chat room where i have to question about two-meter i want to get that a second i want to finish up on this thing with the global fat are guys there are a number of different solutions but global fat uh... phone would be a really good idea just even if it's uh... a last-minute relation and activity will say like the bond think about what we already explained to everybody about before it happened on the ground Our cell phones, we had a problem connecting. I couldn't get through. So you needed regular, other alternate radio communications, didn't ya? Well, no, you're stupid. You don't know what you're talking about. You guys are dumbies. Really? So, people couldn't get through because of nothing else. Let's see, it's a remote location. Most everybody's using their Star Trek communicator, their little tiny one. And that little tiny Star Trek communicator can only reach so far, so many miles. In fact, some of those don't reach miles. Oh, you didn't know that. Well, of course not. Logic is you're in dense population. Cell phone towers are there to fry your brains in the local community where they're stacked like cordwood. And so what happens is we get out in the middle of nowhere where normally you'd have a service of maybe, oh, 20, 30, 50 core callers, maybe more, maybe less. But in addition to that, you've got transient callers. Now why do I say that? Well, you might notice, remember when we had the Bundy Ranch deployment, there's a highway there. How many people are going up and down a highway using cell phones? Oh, that's right! And now you do play cell phone tag tower, you know, where you didn't before, where you go from one to the next to the next to the next because it passes off. You don't notice it because there's an overlapping handshake. However, remember that that transient traffic adds load to the system. So then all of a sudden, 7,000 people, 3,000 people, 2,000 people show up in an area and they all go click, oh, ooh, ooh, look what we're doing here, and they hook up and they're streaming pictures and videos, hey, just exactly what we were talking about doing with that fat phone, right? They were doing that. Unfortunately, so many people could do that because at a given point, you fill the nodes they can reach. Now, what would have changed that? is if they had the Yagi antennas. Remember we talked about this. 800 meg Yagi antennas mean anybody that was sitting there that couldn't hook up simply hooks up a Yagi, an 800 meg Yagi with the antenna, a platform, roll the platform, roll a car tire over the platform, you know, a car. And then what you do is you swing that antenna around, that Yagi antenna, and you watch your bars, and you look for a target out on the horizon where you can get four or five bars and you're talking outside the range and the performance of the equipment and the radios that are right there around you. By the way, your cell phone is a radio. Now that would have settled it real quick, but what I just explained, the average person doesn't even want to think about or didn't want to consider, and besides it was the Picnic Tailgate Party crew for the most part, so how seriously they were considering the deployment, Well it was a great experience and a great fun time and we did lots of barbecue and we kind of did a protest thing too. See, so a lot of them weren't looking at it seriously. Otherwise food deployment would have been heavier because people are organizing and should have called out for food right away. And we ain't talking ribs and we're not talking ice cream or pizzas. So a bunch of things need to be corrected and or we need to remind everybody we told you so. Hey, we told you so and yes, we did tell you so because those of you have to work for a living, WRK as opposed to partying hardy well two different crews here the party hardy crew pieces and barbecue ribs man don't forget the dog the work crew rice if everybody had done that everybody just brought 25 pound bag that times what 2,000 people on the ground rotated so probably another 2,000 that came and went every one of them brought a 25 pound bag of rice beans rolled oats pack of number 10 cans of food The deployment would have been covered. Nobody would have been out that much. Everything would have been squared away. Signal communications are the same way. We have demonstrated already failure. Success, but with the failure incorporated in terms of being able to get long range communications in place where it needs to be now. Now, overlapping of that are the two, their series, of course, personal handheld radios, which is why I'm going to incorporate theocrats questions. Personal handheld radios in all the variations are a good solution, but they're not long range radios. Now the closest to that, as far as being able to apply in that overlapping area that I mentioned for years, is 2 meter. Why? Well, 2 meter was the original cell phone system, guys. Before anybody knew what cell phones were, 2 meter operators back in the day, oh, well, wait a minute. 10 years ago? No. 20 years ago? No. 40 years ago? Eh, a little closer. In the early 70s, actually by the 60s, 2 meter radio was already perfected for repeater operations. Now what do we mean by repeater? Well just like those, oh wait a minute, let's think, cell phone tower. Now the cell phone towers dictate, you know, again, the performance and range of 2 meter radio, pretty much. Not in all cases, because remember you can use 2 meter for direct application in local areas, but The question was asked by theocritus, well, what would work best for me? Are there sweet frequencies? There are, but those sweet frequencies vary depending upon where you are. That's one of the most important things that needs to be remembered. You have to research your equipment on the ground. Certain frequencies can be interrupted by any number of different things. What's one of the things we know is in the area, or at least was applied and may be in the area? I haven't looked at this degree. Solar energy projection systems. Win generators, other technologies that are power plants, things of that nature. Well, everything generates additional harmonic frequencies. The bigger the transformer, the more junk coming off it, number one. There's a big piece of interference. It's not the worst, but it does create problems when you have tiny, handheld, Star Trek communicators. If you have a base station radio, you can push through noise. Always remember that. If you've got a base station, this is why bigger is better. Okay, it's why antennas taller are better. It's why the bigger the array, the more I can... Like I can be my message to where I need it to go, okay? Now in the process of doing that, what we're talking about here with 2-meter, the other thing is in the discussion was terrain. Now terrain is not always a problem with regard to... Most radio. In fact, we think that with the rolling hills, now it depends on where up and down the bandwidth, you know, where up and down the radio spectrum you are. But where the problems arise or why you have issues is because we have a lot of fuzz in the terrain. Let me give you an example is, you see, right now it's summer. Look at all those leaves out there. Now consider that with all those leaves out there, We've got a situation where we've got lots of riffs. We've got lots of ways to deflect signals, actually absorb signals. It's organic by the way too. And that creates, think about those leaves, each one is a little reflector. Now think about building reflectors out there. Now think about those reflectors at varying heights and varying positions. And if you're on the ground and you're trying to move through things, now some frequencies go through organics better than others, but still, remember no matter what it is, that was can create problems for you in all kinds of directions they can also be an advantage if you're trying to mask a single not a single in one area while your main single goes to work with two-meter especially as you hear about so many you know miles out you need to go up and down with what you should do is probably a quarter of the from available to your way you have a baseline number i don't care what programmable radio it is to be here p h f u h f whatever it is you've got in a NFRS radios of any kind that you're using are programmable. What you want to do is start with frequency zero or frequency one or you know the base of your dial. You want to take and go four points of the compass. You have one radio sitting in a location, your home location, whatever you got. You then drive out and have the person you know pick roads that allow you to go north, south, east and west. Now, experiment with that frequency and look to see how far it reaches and benchmark it. Put a logbook together, in addition to that, use a map of your area. Now, your map shouldn't be a little tiny scale map. Go to the photocopy shop or go to your computer printer, pick the area you've got, blow it up so you have a 10 mile map or a 5 mile map. Let's do it that way because it depends on what your distances are to travel to work or travel to, you know, to the If your distances are greater and the farther out west you are, the greater they are, although here in Michigan, we're a big state, people have a tendency to travel within 25 miles of their home for most of what they do. That's the old story we've heard for years. Now, what you do is point to the compass, test your base frequency. Go north, south, east, west. Watch to see in each direction where you lose signal or where you start to lose or gain what is considered unacceptable interference. Now you want to back off from where you really have major problems and benchmark the distance. By the way, you have an odometer in your car, don't you? So you can measure from zero. In fact, most cars have that little secondary odometer where you go, you push it, and you push your mile marker and it goes to zero. And you can drive out and measure to the tenth of a mile where you are. Okay, now we're going to go to break here. Anyway, the idea is to use the car, use the information you have, take the radio, operate it the way you normally would, go four points to the compass. Now when you fade out, come back to center zero, go to the second frequency, a quarter of the way up the dial, so to speak. Do it again. Halfway, do it again. Three quarters, do it again. Top end, do it again. Now, look at how you're hitting on the map in your area of activity in each of the areas around you. We'll be back. We're going to cover more on this, but what you're doing is an area survey. We're going to be back, and it is communication Tuesday. Grab a cup of coffee, smell. Oh, yeah. Taste. Oh, yeah. There we go. That'll wake you up in the morning, lad. Put head on your chest, girl. You have fine little hair on your chest. You can't see it, but it's still fuzzy and warm and, you know, you like the feel of that. Anyway, we're gonna be back in just a little bit. It is Communications Tuesday upon the rocks. Interrupt this program for an urgent announcement. The power's gone and the lights are out. We now have an emergency situation. Time to light your emergency candles. Don't have any? Then it's time to order your supply of emergency grab and go candles from LisaKCandals.com. The emergency candles outperform even the most extreme conditions. They are soot and toxin free and have a natural extended shelf life. The time is now, so don't delay. Have emergency Hi folks, Ronnie McMullen here for Life Change T. Here's a strange thought. The government shut down and your colon could be in parallel. If your colon shuts down like the government, you could be in trouble. Your organs feed off the nutrients that move through your colon. If your colon has corruption, uh, problems, you could get very ill. People with bathroom struggles love life change tea. If you drink life change tea, you'll avoid a colon shutdown. You will have more energy and feel great! You might even lose some weight. There's one key element to all of this working. You have to take the product. Just do it. So here's how to order.
