I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking of, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy be gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torture freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the midst of whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedom she fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave is this still the land of the free and good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, this is the First hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I'm Mark Curkey. And I'm Don Betcher. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, south, north, and northeast. Well, ladies and gentlemen, you were listening to us on... liberty tree radio dot four m g dot com we are an a m f m micro station c b base stations and ultra net technologies east and west of the mississippi along with alaska we're in the homework network the top of maine to the bottom of florida from the bottom of florida across the arc of the gulf of mexico headed louisiana mississippi texas oklahoma big chunk of raska A whole bunch of Wyoming to include both the 3rd, 5th, the Pitt and our friends in the recall state of Colorado. Waving to the left coast, we turn back to the east, with the great state of Jefferson out there doing a fine job. Turning back to the east, we sweep across the plains, a leap over the burgeoning banks of the Mississippi and the Lemma, the Smokies, where the restaurant crews, grandma teams, and OK teams bring us the Golden Spike Don. It has been a warm and muggy day today. We keep being threatened with rain, but I think it either hit before us or just a little after, I mean, it bounced over us because we haven't been hit with it so far. But that doesn't mean that it isn't, you know, con the way. I expected to hit us at some time or another. So what's it like in your neck of the woods? What's the day-to-day? What's jumping off the wall up there? Well, on this the 17th day of June, year of our Lord 2014, it hasn't rained since the morning. It's a lot clearer than it was, and a good portion of that's probably headed your way, but as you say, it might have just jumped right over you. But, you know, you've heard it said before in the hour, play for rain, pray for rain in the right places. I got a little bit ahead of myself there. But pray for rain in the right places in the right amounts. It's the beginning of the growing season in the northern portion of America, and Everybody got everything in a little late outside and because it was so wet before that. But you know, we can thank Al Gore for all of this and we don't have to beat up the Pablum there. This is stuff we've done for a good long time. It's like, we need to get out the Gorechuck. That's something we haven't done in a while, but a mean old evil looking Gorechuck. You know, sticks his head out of a hole. It's the Gorchuk. Yeah. Sticks his head out of a hole and tells us what the weather's going to be like. Where did Gorchuk go? Then he crawls back into his dirty den. I'm sure he's hiding in the Epropos place where he's got lots of cover and concealment amongst his buddies. That's about it. Anyway, that's kind of past tense, ain't it, Mark? We need to work right up in the... Well, we could talk about the coal slurries and things and stuff like that. dang near to the Gulf of Mexico from where Ohio, Pennsylvania. Ooh, we. But we could talk about the current guy in charge. The Gorchuk was only the second command, the dog on the leash, so to speak. The dog that was let off the leash and trotted over there to the Senate and voted for NAFTA, broke the tie and voted for NAFTA, and then trotted back to his massive bill. Bill put him back on the leash for a little while. We could talk about more current things like the head guy in charge now and the people who are pulling his strings. Like the bath house boys, to steal a phrase from Mark. Because you have to think, running out of Iraq has basically turned Iraq into Bama Lamma Ding Dong's Vietnam. no question about it. Oh, he brought it into the war. He didn't even do it like Nixon. I'll bring it into the war with honor. He did even mention that. I'm not certain. But all of that that was bought and paid for with American blood and treasure is basically rolling back to worse than it was before we got there. So, you know, we take different measures of freedom, you know, and in an Iraqi household, they can only keep one automatic weapon now. when we'd go in there and clean them out other than just one per household and you know that doesn't generally fit in how many people are willing to stand in the door and defend their house or the window because if you've only got one gun in the house all the other windows are kind of useless, aren't they? It's kind of rude waiting for that person that's you know defending the house to fall and then you got to pick up the only gun in the place but again we started on this little spur talking about freedom and after well the CIA, CATA, you know, let's take a little sidebar here because, you know, we brought this to your attention about a year and a half ago, maybe two and a half years ago, the media tried to, they attempted to sell the average American the thought line. Mark, you remember, and most of you listeners remember that, well, Osama bin Laden created Al Qaeda there in the 90s. But before that we were told that the CIA created Al-Qaeda to fight the Russians. Oh, I've got a schism in there somewhere now. Oh, I don't know what to believe. I know what to believe. Because, you know, if one is talking about a particular entity, item, or, you know, commodity, and then it comes up in a different arena, but it's supposed to be brand new there, but you've already heard all about it, it's not brand new, is it? So you have to kind of take the original story. Because, well, it's not brand new. I've been hearing about this for years. The same thing worked with uh, Melama Ding Dong there, didn't it? And Osama bin Laden. Now, we can throw into that little, we could park a train here and talk about this for hours. But in that same time frame, you know, back aways in the mid-90s, uh, we had that half white, half bright rather. Mad, ma, how does that go? Modlin. half bright. Yeah, and you know she was Secretary of State and she'd stand right there and commit into history the words that starving a hundred thousand Iraqi children to death was a needful thing. Now we've been over this over and over, but again, you know when we run back to Bama Lamma Ding Dong sitting on open lies like well Obama was Osama, the founder of They'd like to sell you that instead of tell you that, well, you know, the aforementioned truth. When he brings out a guy, and we're talking right up into modern context now, you know, we're not beating up anybody that's out of office now, save for the most recent, what is that guy, mouthpiece front man, the guy who is his press secretary. It took me a moment to generate those two words in one place. The most currently resigned press secretary, I might add. But he came up and backed up the, he created the lie about three and a half, maybe four weeks ago now, and well, in a couple of days, on a Sunday. When asked about the Veterans Administration, oh, how did you find out about this and the problems within the Veterans Administration? We found out from you was the answer from the press secretary on Sunday. Monday we pointed out to everybody that you know when a couple of people start standing around and lying about the same thing they call that a conspiracy and Wednesday or Thursday he announced his resignation. He wanted nothing to do with that. You know they killed but we can bounce back and forth across history here but you have to wonder why that one fellow was found there in the park during the Clinton administration. He didn't want to go along. He didn't want to tow the party line and well they had to make them quiet. Vince was his name, wasn't it? But let's run back up. At least the most current to resign secretary, or rather press secretary, didn't end up in a park with a bullet in his head and no blood puddle around him. That's always been curious to me. But we can talk about fearless leader and what he's done for America. Big, long, dead airspace there on purpose. Because again, we could do that again. That was so much fun. We could talk about fearless leader and what he's done for America. That was beneficial. Let's put that in there because that really puts the void proper. Make it the short list. Yeah, exactly. Now, when we start thinking along those lines, we have to... Perception is reality. If you see the train coming and you get out of the way, well, you get out of the train. Even if in a dream, you know, they say that, well, if you're falling in a dream and you land at the bottom, you die in your dream because you died in... Well, I'm not certain about that, but that might be that ultimate perception is reality thing taken right to the end's degree. I'm not certain. I've never experienced that in a dream. Going back to that perception is reality you have to look at what this guy has done for America or For your freedom or for the image of America around the world now we were talking during the Bush administration how you know he had by his actions oh What would be a good word to put there developed a that's not the best word to put there though, but had fostered and developed a hate for America around the world Now this guy here, he runs over here, you know, some people must like him. They were actually selling souvenirs there when he was in Egypt calling him the Pharaoh of the world. But what has he done for America? The image overseas is tarnished. People can't trust the dollar. People can't trust the American military commitment. About the only group of people that can trust this guy are the queers, the sodomites. You know, it's coming to the point that, well, if I don't want to do that on the air. But you guys, we mentioned the cauldron there in Yosemite. And if America were just blasted to fire and brimstone, it's about like, you know, there would be a reason for it. How many of you listen to this and say nothing about it? Because the biggest thing America's, the biggest thing Obama's done for America is back up the queers. Think about it. The biggest change in direction, you know, you would expect a little course correction from administration to administration in order that we stay on that path of freedom and enlightenment and bringing that into the hearts of our people and letting it grow. And here's the, I'll use that word again, fostering it there. Doesn't happen, does it? We can run in so many different directions, but think about it. The only thing this guy has done for America is promote the queers, promote the sodomites. When long term they think about a president's legacies, that's the only thing he'll have. Even if he's, well, even if he, well, best case, worst case, depending on how you look at it, even if he serves out the remaining portion of his term, this is his legacy. He just basically, you know, got on his knees for the sodomites. He just basically said, I'll ride that barrel. He just basically said anything you want to me. I don't care. Let's get in the back seat of the taxi. Wow. Again, you know, if you ask America something like, I'll be real conservative on this. I'll even try to knock 10%. Something like 82% of America will tell you they're Christians. But if they express that thought line and then just smile things on as far as, you know, Is it oozing out of Washington? Well, we've talked about complacency, haven't we? It doesn't exactly fit here, but that lie-bio-mission, we've talked about what that means. We've talked about inactivity. Do nothing and the other side wins. That's a gimme. These are most basic. But if you don't speak out against this, how will the other side will just have its way? We have addressed this in so many, we've talked about this from the Boy Scouts, we've talked about, you know, I'm certain if Bama Lamadeng Dong had a boy, well, he'd have probably been shot dead in Florida by now, like he acquired that, could have been my son. But, well, he'd have probably shuffled him out to the Boy Scouts for certain these days, huh? And I could, this is getting a little bit, you know, a bit of a rambling. But you think about this, what is the only thing he's done for any group of people that was any measure? Think about it. And I'll pop this off with, you know, you've heard it said before, I'll leave you laughing because, you know, his good, good buddy, Ramy Manuel, changed his name. I don't remember what his name was before, but he changed it to Ramy Manuel because Elton John was already taken. That's the kind of world they live in. Mark, I yield to you, sir. I'll be quiet now. Well, we are headed towards the bottom of the hour and if they're the legacy will be remembered every time two homosexuals or more come together in such disgusting ways. Ah, the brown rainbow with that little yellow line down below for the golden showers. Well before we're going farther number one we are headed towards about a hour break a reminder for everybody out there if you're headed out to the Bundy Ranch deployment We do need additional manpower out there the I haven't had a chance to go through all the messages from our friends That just came off of deployment they are back home right now as of today and or early this morning So we do need manpower out there. Guys, if you get a chance, take the time, rotate the personnel out, and take over security operations and, you know, again, pass the baton. We've got to keep doing this. Need to organize better. It gives you a chance to practice what you preach and in the process, again, serve a good cause. So that's the Bundy Ranch deployment and again if you want more information there's a number of different sites. The Bundy Ranch resistance, transportation, Facebook page, there's a number of different ones there. Most of them pretty well are interlinked by what I can see now or at least with different people who are participant on the ground there. That's number one. Number two, I mentioned, I called Centerfire Systems. Don guys they do have the standard AK 762 by 39 all-american part kits in stock and they've got a good number of them so if you're looking for a Complete virgin set this is not a part set that's been disassembled. This is a complete American made virgin set of parts brand new holes, all new rivet points where they need to be riveted once you put it together. Everything is pristine and it's American and it's $300 for the entire set with everything except for one item and that is the receiver, the receiver panel. Everything else including the rivets are there guys. So this is a complete weapon system as far as the rifle goes. No magazines, not a problem there. But for $300 you're getting a pretty nice package at the very least. Look at it this way. It's a hell of a spare parts kit for your armor to put on the shelf just in case you guys need to fix anything on any of your rifles or if you find a Russian AK of whatever model and maybe you need to replace parts and put it back online because it got shot by somebody while they were taking it from the UN occupiers or whatever. Well, guess what? Brand new would be really kind of nice, wouldn't it? Takes less time to turn the gun around so there's a couple of different reasons. We're looking at these kits Center fire systems comm center fire systems comm Center fire systems comm now one other thing about these they will need You will need to buy a scope rail for the side of the AK the standard one that everybody's using now which is an SPD type They are available. There's a number of different places you can go for them. You pick the option as far as location. But definitely you're going to want to buy one and mount it on your AK. If it already doesn't come that way, many of the receivers, even though they're bare receivers, may come with the pin fixture or screwed into place the standard rail type system for the AK. So they're pretty much consistent across the board. But again look to see what you want. If you're gonna build one as an 80%er and finish it up yourself so it's a totally clean rifle and 100% made in the US, which is kind of neat, then that's a consideration. Next, we're almost to the bottom of the hour. Don, you've got night vision technology. Where are we with the numbers for the rifle sight? What's it look like with regard to overall availability there? And what do you have? And how can we get old to call you about picking up night vision? Well, I'm not certain about the small number that was 28 late last week. I don't know how many are left there, but there are a few more orders have been processed on this end. So you'll get that device. I do need to talk with a gentleman from Illinois. I would say DR from Illinois. I need to talk to you. We can get something squared away there. I think I did that the other day, but if you weren't listening, well, maybe you'll hear it now or in the archive, but give me a call. DR. I can offer that first generation gun sight, the entry level piece, $375 right near mailbox for perhaps another week, maybe to the end of this week. If you want to get in on that, you guys, my number is 2317968458. Again, 2311. seven nine six eight four five eight We will be brief on this goggles gun sights green screens You know if you're looking around you see an ad you call that guy with the 800 number talk to him for a while figure out what he's got how much he Wants for it, you know make certain you nail them down like second generation how many lines per and third generation how many lines per? And then call me you probably won't call that guy with the 800 number back. My number is two three one seven nine six 8 4 5 8 goggles or gun sights green screens or thermal If we're not gonna go to break maybe we can just squeeze this thought in or maybe we're gonna go to break or not I'm not certain but you guys the way things are going Let's do it like this Ralph or Frank out there, you know Flamin Hethro sexual, you know, he likes girls sits down at the McDonald's and the couple of guys slide into the booth with him and one of them starts rubbing his hand up and down his thigh or telling him, gee, yours just doesn't even touch him. She just starts telling him how nice he looks and what a pretty mustache and all kinds of things like that. And talking about, well, what you should be and where we should, you know, you have to think that somebody's gonna get smashed one day. And I'm not talking about drinking. I'm talking, somebody will be crushed. But we're supposed to be tolerant and we're supposed to understand. I just thought I'd put that out there. It's like, what would you do, kind of thought? You know what I mean? Because it won't, you know, when you look at some of, Mark, you mentioned a public restroom the other day and an FBI just loading the place up. But when you look at they're revamping them across Michigan and there's a lot less there used to be well visual interruptions between particular places that where there aren't now and You know that's part of the agenda So you guys I just thought I'd bring that to the table. It's like what would you do and You know we don't have to address that we don't you we can move on from there because that's your own personal decision, isn't it? I yield mark I do like it just it just sticks in my cry both my god Oh, do we have a caller? Just want to make sure right now. I'm not in the chatroom guys. Sorry about that got a router problem with one of the systems here I might just switch over at the first hour to the other workstation and to the other Part of the station here just because so for everybody it looks on looks like our net gear unit might have giving up the ghost don't panic we are trying to ignore everybody it's just that we probably just can't hook up from this particular end we can from the other because I already got it set up so for everybody out there again want to appreciate our friends in the chat rooms pitching in and helping out with the work over the weekend, especially our radio operators. Captain Monahan was by last night. He's on his way to take care of some other projects that need to be squared away. He's doing that while we speak. Radio testing. I've got another transmitter that was donated last night. It's a bigger shortwave military unit that actually is quite decent. Late 50s, early 60s, but it's a nice little package. In fact, I believe this particular one actually was rolled over into the policing venue. Police and, you know, again, peace officer slash enforcement, take your pick. The vendor was running the radio. But I can't stress enough, guys. Take the time, don't just plug stuff in. Take the, unscrew the covers, look inside, make sure there's no mouse nest. That would be kind of embarrassing since a lot of radio equipment gets a little warm. Not likely there's a mouse nest, but you just never know. There could be one little spot. Mice get in through a lot of interesting locations. When they get inside, they find a happy home and they make it theirs. So we need to make sure that we unmake that theirs. and get all of that special insulation, which might even be the old dead mouse, inside the radio. That's one of the most important things. Do a complete inspection. Also, look at your power connection points for your wall fixtures and such, where you've got the power going to the wall. Most common is something's been sitting and stuff will usually get into those recessed plug stations. It can be a number of different things, just never know. So you want to make sure you take and clean those out, inspect everything, make sure there's no major oxidation because you'll get frustrated real quick trying to plug something in it. It just doesn't want to work. So, again, just a reminder, we'll be going over that unit. I want to say thank you to Hal for dropping that by. It's one that I knew we had around. We just weren't sure if we were going to be pulling that up for one of the radio trailers. And I think that's where it's going. So we'll see what transpires over the next couple of days and then go from there. Also, let's see, what else do we have here? One, two. A couple other items. Somebody asked me about Belgian Desert Camo. Now the Belgian is an odd man uniform out as far as some of the stuff they've come up with, which it just seems like it shouldn't work, but in reality, like some of the dazzle patterns, it actually works quite well. For all of you out there listening, we're going to do a quick survey to see if I can find enough parts and pieces to make the Belgian ambush or the Belgian desert worthwhile. There's pieces. I don't know what it is, Don. Most armies, guys, the pants are gone first, and they're gone for a long time. What's fascinating about the Belgian stuff? I can get pants all day. I can get them up to giant long. In other words, boy, I could fit some people you normally wouldn't. And I can wear as bib overall. So I could look like one of the little rascals if I wanted to, okay? But as far as getting hold of their blouses and jackets in any configuration other than perhaps small, small, small. See, it's one extreme. It'd be like Paul Bunyan's dog. Remember the dog that was supposedly, you know, was eating underneath the, it was fed underneath the dresser every day? And so the kitchen covered and so what happened is the front legs were tiny like a little dachshund with the back legs were the full size of the breed. This was giant dog. It was you know Paul Bunyan's dog. Well, it's kind of like that with regard to some of the stuff we're looking at here. So he wrecks kind of dog. Yeah, it's really yeah exactly. Tiny little paws. Well, the same is true with regard to the uniform part. So while yes, we can get pants. I've been looking around trying to find blouses and hats to match up for the person that has an interest. You might be able to find patrol hats that are aftermarket, remanufactured versions of the uniform. They're typically in a US BDU, you know, coffee can cut hat. and even their sizes will vary. Don't ask me why, it's just the way things are, that particular pattern, and as genuine surpluses, real military surplus, right now the pants are coming through in immaculate condition, excellent. But the tops just are nowhere to be found. Don't know what's going on with it, probably still issuing them out, they probably don't get rid of them, but pants wear out first. So typically you don't find the pants. It's the other way around guys with most of the other camouflages right now if you're buying surplus or in volume in surplus. We're lucky to find a couple sources where the guys do a great job overseas of rounding stuff like that up. So, you know, for instance, out in California there's a couple of good suppliers and they've been doing a good job of finding large, extra-large, extra-extra-large and extra-extra-extra-large. So we're acting accordingly with regard to those. Okay? So, anyway, just a heads up there. I'm trying to do what we can, but I'm not too excited. Also, and I'm probably, Don, I should not do this. However, guys, if you really want to build a 20 inch barreled AR-15, whoo-hoo! They have barrels. They're take down barrels off of... whatever ARs or M16s. There are two barrels that are available. One is the A2 type configured barrel. That's the goofy reverse step, you know, where they were made thicker beyond the gas system, but they're lighter, so they're actually kind of a dumb configuration. The argument was that all soldiers use their rifles as crowbars. I'm serious guys, that was the argument years ago. Well if that's the case then wouldn't I make the whole rifle barrel like solid, like an H bar? Because my rifle's gonna be a crowbar, don't you know? I opened beers with it too. Yeah all day man. I used to be pulling nails and then I used the other, well no, the buttstock's not really your first choice and that buffer tube doesn't take any beating. I guess it doesn't make much of a good utility hardware tool after all. But anyway, they've got ApexGunParts.com ApexGunParts.com ApexGunParts.com They've got 20 inch barrels. Now that means you still need a gas tube, you know, a stainless gas tube. But all the other parts are standard to go right on that barrel. They're $75 a piece. And they have both the H-bar standard, a real heavy barrel. And then they have the A2 Mach heavy barrel. Personally, I'd go with the heavy barrel first and the 20 inch and if they run out then go to the A2 configuration and live with it. Why? Because there's lots of parts out there. Either way you'll get the barrel you need 20 incher. And again that's through ApexGunParts.com then go to their barrels ApexGunParts.com ApexGunParts.com. There's $75 a piece, no matter which barrel you buy. In the 20 inches, they have the A2 configured and they have a standard stepped heavy. And the heavy, really nice looking. Now these are takeoffs. They've taken and disassembled the upper receivers and they're parting out the components is what they're doing. or somebody pulled a whole bunch of barrels and switched out to something else. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't take the uppers and they were told, you just gotta have a 16 inch or it just won't work. Yeah, yeah, that's why we carry all those 20 and 7 16s forever because it just didn't work. Okay, well, short range and shorter isn't the solution, guys. However, whoever learns to change up, I don't want equity with my enemy. You want battlefield superiority in range and penetration. So stick with a 20 inch barrel and start scarfing these up and build some more 20 inch upper receivers. Notice you don't even have to build the whole gun guys. You can just build a 20 inch upper and slap it on whatever else you got and take it off whenever you feel like it. See nobody's talking about that. And it's goofy because, well, I know what's happening in the system. Thank goodness they're undergunning them. After all, we're gonna be seeing space aliens done! And if we're gonna be seeing space aliens or zombies, would I really want a shorter weapon since I really want to keep the space aliens or the zombies farther away? Right, even if you could just push them. Yeah, but also just the idea if I can hit them farther out with more energy, won't I stop the zombies? Make them bleed over there, that green gooey blood. Yeah, I don't want it on me. Might want my enemy, but I want a me, you know at least it's green in the movies by the way They've just released for general consumption. How whatever term you'd like to associate with that World War Z and Let me tell you the main character by God he's what that convenient Winnebago that can drive through any Zombie or natural disasters once again available. That was amazing to me all the rest of the vehicles out there Just don't quite do it. Of course. He loses it You know, I don't know, stubs a box of rocks, whatever, but he loses his Winnebago later on, but he gets the, the Winnebago gets him out of the zombie wave and out to the periphery, etc., etc., etc., but unfortunately then he's on foot in the outlying areas from, you know, the town city he was in, and the rest of the world is consumed by zombi's. Well, you don't want shorter you want longer you want more energy you don't want you know We're not trying to just you know wound. It's not the theory here We want to put big gaping nasty bigger bigger holes longer, you know longer range farther out hit them accurately and keep them out there Okay, but that's personal choice thing sooner you all realize to reach farther with heavier The sooner the bad guys gonna realize they've made bad choices, but by then it's too late and they're dead That's the attitude you should take so I'm not really trying to fix my enemy. I believe he should believe what he's continuing to believe and keep right on doing it. I'll love him every step of the way for that. How do you like that? Well while we're talking about movies, we come to Don's Critique Corner. I've never done that before, but we probably won't do it again. Somebody sent me a movie called Own the Night. It's a night vision movie. Now I would preface this although I'm already into this subject with the thought line that when I built the night vision movie my idea and that the whole of the thought line was to present performance show what it can and can't do in the movie own the night they don't talk so much about night vision as moving and Different tactics at night, which is cool, but You've heard it said many times on this hour that you know you're gonna move it in at night like you do in the day You're gonna fight at night like you do in the day only you're gonna have night vision and be able to see You're probably gonna be up against people who are equally equipped So they'll be able to see also hence you'll move at night like you do in the day expect to be seen. You've heard that said a number of times on that hour. I really don't know if I mentioned that and if I didn't mention that in the night vision video that's a sore point with me now. But these guys, the two brothers built this video and they enlisted to use the help of an army sergeant and he drove them like sergeants do and told them how to do this and that, and bounding overwatch and call things out. And he had them shooting, this is why I brought this up, and I'll bring this up again tomorrow. But he had them shooting from behind barriers, Mark, and both of these young men were right handed. And that's all well and fine, even if you've got that M16 variant pattern type, you know, M15 gun, or rather AR-15 type. The atom shooting behind barriers, and the plywood barriers were cut so that they were stepped on the sides and cut square holes in them so that you could come to, like shooting through a hole in a wall or something, shooting from some odd positions. Now that was all well and good when these right handed guys were shooting through the holes in the barrier and when they were shooting from the right hand side of the barrier. You know, simulating a wall or wreckage or a car. That was the reason for the cuts in the barrier. So you could get almost to the ground and like you're shooting from a place where you're lifting the gun like under the fender of the under the back bumper of the car because you have to lift the gun up to get to your target. If you were prone on the ground, you wouldn't have gained your... So he's forcing them to get into some odd positions to shoot, which is cool. But when they leaned over and started shooting from the left side of these barriers, they were still shooting right-handed, exposing the whole of their body, ignoring the cover that was in front of them. And this Sergeant, with all due good intentions and everything, there's a lot of good information in this video, but we've told you this for years. If you've got a private range, even if you put up a 2x4 and imagine it is straight up from the ground, 6 feet high, as tall as you are, and then you imagine shooting from, and really truly do, shoot from the right side of that 2x4 and then the left side of that 2x4. It's easier not to imagine if you were to put up a sheet of plywood, as mentioned moments ago, and shoot now you're shooting from the corner of a building. We've used intersections as example, the X of an intersection. And you're walking up, you're coming getting closer and closer to the intersection, you come under fire from the left portion, opposite side of the road of the intersection. What are you going to do? Run to the right side of that and stay under that, stay in his field of fire? No, you run to the left side of the, so to speak, hallway or concrete canyon and you gain cover, right? Now if you're on the left side and you're right handed, well you move that right handed shooter up there and all he brings around the corner is the gun and his eye. Well he brings a little bit of skull with it too, doesn't he? But he presents the least amount of target to his opponent while he's bringing his opponent to bear under his gun. We've addressed this a hundred times if we've addressed it once, a thousand times if we've addressed this once. But if I'm driven to the other corner because the fire came obliquely from the other angle from the right hand side a window from the intersection and I'm leaning on that right hand wall I'm not going to stride into that intersection bet your lap bet both feet on this I'm not gonna I'm not gonna go up to that right hand side of that concrete canyon and Shoot right-handed as I present around the corner all you have to do is stand downrange And you don't even have to have a real gun. You could put a stick in someone's hand. And imagining the two by, or run up that two by four, you could do this with a piece of string. But that person that's right handed, you're looking the other side. You have him lean around that string, that two by four, that piece of plywood, till he brings the gun to bear on you and you look at how much target he presents. And then you have him stand on the left side of that hunk of plywood, that string, that two by four, and you have him shoot right handed as he stands almost in the open to bring the gun to bear on you and has no lean ability. You'd almost have to run around to present the gun even toward one o'clock or two o'clock immediately from the corner. So now, once you've done that exercise, you can tell me that you don't think you need to shoot left handed? because I really love those bricks in front of me. They're my best friend when they're stopping. All those things that mean guy over there is throwing at me at 2,700 feet per second. I just thought I'd bring that to you. And we're going to do this again tomorrow. We'll hit on this same subject tomorrow. But when it comes to Don's movie corner critique... The guy did a very good job at pushing these two young men, at teaching them bounding and calling out, down, reloading, empty, I'm ready and moving. He did a real good job at that, but he totally ignored teaching them to shoot from both sides of cover. That was never brought up, but you've heard that for years from this hour, haven't you? So again, you know... Any boxer knows that if he's weak on the left side, that's the side he needs to work. Gunners need to start thinking the same way. I yield, Mark. Well, left or right, if you are engaged in certain types of defense, whenever you're going to be exposing yourself to any degree, the idea is to minimize exposed areas. Now, remember, you're supposed to try and prepare your defense. So your cover and concealment are integrated in one and the same. If you're mobile, then it varies. So you don't really want to expose and give your enemy an opportunity to calculate your dimension. Another reason to minimize signature when you're moving left of target or right of target. If you're moving to the left and you are of course not right, you're right handed not left, you still switch over to the left and become ambidextrous. You must. You need to. Again, remember, the bad guys are doing everything they can to take you out of the picture. We need to avoid that. Just a little more training and a little more repetition. Best place to do that? Airsoft. Airsoft, Airsoft, Airsoft, Airsoft, Airsoft, Airsoft. Now we're going to go to live fire. After we've done lots and lots of repetitive, limited Airsoft. where you don't have 500,000 rounds in a magazine, you know, we're in 500. Instead, 30 round mag, same kind of restriction, and the idea is to practice fire and maneuver or fire and take cover, return fire and take cover, return fire and take cover, and to integrate support. But Airsoft allows you to practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, and then switch. with the exact same weapon system. If you've got an AR, they've got every stinking AR, and the prices are very reasonable for Airsoft to get you on the range, AKA, same way. There were HKs out there and they're still floating around guys, but HK, of course, they heard that the Patriot Movement was using the HK weapons the way you should, the AER airsoft, and so they pulled everything on the market that they could by arguing the pattern for the HKs. Well, it's not that they were really all that concerned and they're not offering any, nor will they plan on it. The idea was to deny training aids to the American people. I don't even care about the Japanese. It's just stopping the American people from effectively training. What does that tell you? Well, I'm trying to find an HK knockoff in an Airsoft right now. You can find them used and they're, you know, again, price will be up and down. If you find one used and it's reasonably priced, I'd grab it. Again, you've got to decide what reasonably priced is. I'd be watching for derelicts and see about building them back up because kids have a tendency to be sloppy with their toys and figure they can replace it, not paying attention to the market. Then they go out and find out they can't get the replacement weapons, so they offer the old one and they switch out to something else. Well, you grab the old one and build it back up. And then you've got yourself a model, you know, an example for your HK91, PTR91, G3 rifles. But pretty much everything else is out there, which allows you to practice, practice, practice. Then you're going to get into live fire. Don, anything else jump in there, please. We've got only about seven, eight minutes before the top of the hour. Well, I know that, you know, that M16 pattern type gun, AKA R15, you know, Hey, that pretty much sends that shell out to the right. And when you shoot it right handed, well that shell clearances real well and all. It's kind of designed for right handed people. But again, if you learn to shoot it left handed, run that... You guys... I'm really amazed that that was in this video after being professionally trained and in combat and all kinds of things that a simple thing like that wasn't pointed out to these young men. And I don't doubt that, well, you know, the old sergeant had everything in mind, you know, and sometimes we can't help but overlook something. It's the dinky little details that'll get you, you know that. But again, You can learn a lot from that movie. I would say that he promotes completely facing your opponent when you've got a plate, you know, a breast plate on your soft armor, which makes a lot of sense, but it also creates a harder, you have to learn to shoot again. You have to address the gun difference. He talks about moving your feet parallel to your opponent's front when you're ambushed, but if You think about like a front stance like a weaver stance a long stance or a shotgunner stance with one foot forward bracing himself for the you know to reel the reel back with the recoil of the gun as He steps into and brings the gun to bear on the rabbit or the bird if you can gain a foot Quicker and bring your gun to bear It doesn't matter if that's what works Compared to being trained into a box. I have to be this way to shoot my opponent. It will kill you one day. When you dwell on that thought for a moment, think about being in a fight. Just some guy swinging punches that in your pump, you know, pumping punches back. But every instant, every moment, the fight is changing, isn't it? If you for an instant have the advantage and deliver that, that can be the end of the fight. Now. If for an instant you think you have to move into a particular stance in order to address the opponent, I have to be this way to shoot him when all you have to do is swing the gun up and shoot him, you lose time, don't you? So again, you can train yourself into a dinky little box. You really, really can. There's a lot of good things on that video, own the night. But when it comes to turning to address an ambush, the closest foot to it I would simply turn and end up in a long stance, like a weaver stance or the aforementioned shotgun stance to bring my gun to bear on the threat. I am also ready to stride forward from that stance, which is the next thing you do. If you can't gain cover immediately, you start to move toward the threat. At the very least, you start to move because a target that's standing out there in the ambush zone really becomes a bullet magnet. He's not moving, I'll shoot him for certain and that happens. So again, there's a lot to be learned and I don't beat this guy up at all. There's a lot to be... I've said that a number of times from that movie, Own the Night. But there are a couple little things in there you need to pay attention to. I yield, Mark. Thank you. You know, we've talked a lot about movies over the years. The Ghetto Cant, you know, the Homie Shoot. We're at a lot for movies. We are at the top, Mark. I'll tell you what, for all of our friends out there listening it is, well, communications Tuesday. Try to find one more address and I can't dig it out, guys. Forgive me, I ran into some other clothing, guys. Norwegian Air Force camels. Oddball, odd man out. I've never seen it offered before. I'll see if I can dig it up here also because again from the desert deployment kind of comes in handy. Don, your number for night vision, please. That number is 231-796-8450.
