And their clunky clunky like stuff is about the right size for a lot of these new plastic mags that have come out for instance in the 308 rifles or the AK mags in plastic or so. Back of those, I haven't looked at those, look like, I haven't had one of those yet. But, those have a long, flat, velcro which allows you to cover pretty much any, you need to cover 40 round mags. Now I would point out the one thing about Rap4 is they also have every camouflage out there. So if you don't like oak camo, they've got, for instance, let me just read through it. AU Aussie camo, Austrian camo, black, pad pad, desert camo, desert digital, digital woodland, DPM, DPM desert, German, they call it eight coloring, where else guys? Italian camo, orange, if you want, and woodland. doesn't work for you. Belgian, if you're looking for just a bag like a hanger bag like we were talking about, the Belgian engineer bags work. A number of different companies have, Coleman's may have them available, well they do, out of really good prices on pouches, shoulder bag pouches available. They're not sell pockets on the inside, just one chamber, like we used to carry Sten gun mags all the time. They're designed to be deep enough to handle large magazines, so the cool thing about the engineer bags, it mags, you know, nicely. tell me I didn't put that in there to find it for everybody. Anyway, the drop bags, we're looking for a breakout bag or just utility carry bag. Standard, here bags are made for the for quite some time. They have a nice broad aperture, the thing I like about them, well made, hold up well. They're usually canvas duck. You might also find them in, might find them in newer Cordura. Not very common, but you'll find them in Cordura. Now, as a matter of fact, you know, give me an example. If you look at the prices over at, uh, double map, polyite Nordstar for 8K mags, $10 a piece, and it looks like it's used. So there's the different surplus. There's Ohno, out of stock, oh forget that leave the picture up but don't even post it it's out of stock. Engineer bags if you can find them for a good price and or I'll tell you what some of the AK mag pouches the floppier ones like the Romanian now those have a little more give the other ones that are a good one are the AK-47 East German AK four-cell mag pouches that were made when they were doing the 74 they made those more universal so they could handle either mag because of it they actually space here on the inside and those would probably handle the thermal just snugger they didn't want them to move around there at all but these in the transition from one weapon to the next accommodate both you know one mag pouch fits all went in that direction you know making a little roomier or whatever so some other older brick pouch is laying out there I don't see anything jumping out at me I'll have to shop around for you I'll see what we can find. Oh, another one that would work well. Hey, they got them here for $6.95. It does have the shoulder straps or should. East German in the box cart camouflage pattern. This is at KeepShooting.com. Go to page 2, have them in stock, and they're $6.95 apiece. Now those are kind of nice because they are a little bit of a camouflage, not critical. Those are a well-made bag, and those were made for the M10M gas mask. So they would work, but they're long enough, they're deep enough, and they're actually pretty comfortable and the thermals should fit nicely in there. I was figuring out a bag that would hold about 10 bags. Pretty close. The gas mask bags are pretty big. That's why the engineer bag. That's what I was looking at. You might be a little snug with engineer bags like the Belgian. You probably will get 8 in, 6 to 8. Well, 7 to 8. Mag pouch, actually with this pouch, I've got one of these. They're fairly roomy. You might be able to get 10 in there side by side by side and then maybe with one laying on the roof or one link slapped front in front of the other mags. What you're looking for, you got the right idea. About 10 mags per pocket, per pouch, and then do them as dump bags or just as a utility bag to carry. I prefer a surplus only because it's so much cheaper. I mean, you can go out and buy brand new Cordura, whatever, like in Coyote or charge a lot more for them too. I've been always keeping an eye out for AK mag sized pouches for the very mission you're talking about here. And the utility bags, shoulder bags are usually still your best choice. I'll look around. While we're doing the program here, I can bring it up again. There's a couple other places that I posted in the chat room this morning. I haven't gone to all of them because I am looking for pouches for the Monday deployment. I'm looking for cheap. I'm looking for really, really dirt cheap. should be able to find a few cheap items around. They don't have to be the fanciest, they just gotta be able to work. And again, the East German stuff is very well made. It's the last, if it's in the boxcar, it's the last of their camouflage that came out before they collapsed. Now it has all of that East German stuff. They've got pile everywhere. Tucked away here, tucked away there. And every once in a while that would be a good option. They also do have the Chinese chest pouches, but those only carry three or four mags. And you want a shoulder bag is what you want.
