Summary
Mark Koernke and callers discussed organizing supply efforts for the Bundy Ranch standoff in Nevada, including specific needs like food staples, clothing, batteries, radios, and hygiene items. The show emphasized the importance of logistics and supply chains in sustained operations, contrasted poor planning (such as people bringing pizzas) with proper military-style provisioning using bulk staples and number 10 cans. Callers from Arkansas and Texas provided updates on conditions and survival tips for desert operations, while Mark provided detailed sourcing information for affordable radios, batteries, and surplus military clothing to support those on the ground.

Your colon could be in parallel. If your colon shuts down like the government, you could be in trouble. Your organs feed off the nutrients that move through your colon. If your colon has corruption, uh, problems, you could get very ill. People with bathroom struggles love life change tea. If you drink life change tea, you'll avoid a colon shutdown. You will have more energy and feel great! You might even lose some weight. There's one key element to all of this working. You have to take the product. Just do it. So here's how to order. Log on to GetTheT.com and there's a lot more product than just T. That's GetTheT.com or you can call them at 928-308-0408. That's 928-308-0408. Again, avoid a shutdown. Let's get to T.com. A figure walked in through the mist with a flip lock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said. We fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. Envist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current use in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number, you've traded in your name, you've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn, and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear, to slay, both sons of the republic arise, take a stand. defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right. We pray to God to torture freedom, pray bright, as Iowoche vanished in the midst of whence he came. His words were true, we are free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? I'm Joe McNeil. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and Micro Effect Network in the morning. We're also on LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com. We are on Indiana Freedom Talk Radio.com. We are on AM&FM Micro Stations, CB Base Stations, and technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. We're in the Hallmark network from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida across the arc of the health of Mexico. Headed Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both 3rd, 5th, Pitt and our friends in the recall state of the Gulf Coast. Well, let's not forget the great state of Jefferson there. We will always mention that. And back to the east, picking up speed with cold air to our left. And then looping over the X- for wide banks in the Mississippi and landing in the Smokies up here on the Blue Reef. Where the restaurant crew's gravity team's located. And the mob-el gravity crew can bring us... Well Joe, what's it like in here next to the woods and what's the date? Well we got 36 degrees, a little bit of a confusion going on here. We got, uh, so it's clear, we're gonna study on all this. And then, uh, then it says rain 56 degrees. Uh, I don't know, we'll just go with the state time. Okay, that was 22nd or 23rd of April 2000 or March April I had no idea man who cares, but we do have Dave and Arkansas. Let's go talk to Dave Hey, good morning. Good morning, Dave. Hey Mark you there got your shirt. Go right ahead Hey guys, yeah sounds really good. We got spring going on here too. It's all special and we're supposed to get some rain and they're talking about long about those little parts of the first week of May. We may be getting snow again like we did last year. Ain't that just special? Mark, you need to keep that crap up there and keep going. That's from that Lake Michigan. Headed southbound right along the valley to you. That's what that's coming from. I'll guarantee it. We still got ice on Lake Michigan. guys on Lake Superior so it's like a double slap when it comes down range go ahead yeah I saw that huh okay that's what I was gonna talk to you all about this morning I'm not the brightest ball ball in the string I'm just old dumb country boy put things together but mr. buddy was on one of the programs last night Joe might remember I gave him a number to call and talk to him and say he hadn't talked to the man in quite a while but anyway He asked for a few things to go out there and you said you had some people going, is that correct? Yes we do as a matter of fact. All that paper, toothbrushes and sunscreen among other centuries. Now, apparently they're running pretty short and he's asking people to bring these. Bring their food in because they are trying to feed them and get things put I told you thank you I know I know I was waiting for that I told you so that's why I wanted to break it up put on the air this morning Peaches don't make it guys. It's got to be staples pizzas. Don't make it. It's got to be staples racing beans something like that. Yes, and apparently them machine brushes These ain't very big out there and ain't real special neither house raising some of that stuff in the double weeds are getting kind of low too so like you say you know yes, I want to see what I can do here put together something for Maybe a dollar store or something if I get somebody to donate a couple of cases and get a transfer it up there to you or you get stuff sent out the truck Just to hint somebody else may be able to get you know a couple of cases here and there or toilet paper and that kind of stuff toilet paper I would recommend what they do for the weight You're near Viva Lost Wages! Okay, there's got to be custodial supply houses around there. Now granted, it's a stupid price place for a lot of stuff, but because it's built up over a period of time, if somebody were smart, they should do out there. That's one of the places where they should spend their money. There's toilet paper, the Chinese typing paper grade. is not real soft. No, but you get a lot of paper for the roll. Do they have anybody handling logistics and stuff? Yeah, do we have a quarter bastard out there or not? Quarter master? Not that I have heard of. So we need somebody to take over quarter master operations. Because it would be... more efficient if you will rather than just purchase the stuff out there get somebody to coordinate that and then rather than round up a few bucks you know whatever get it to those people let them go purchase you know whether it's out of Vegas, Mesquite or what have you. I don't remember if he said that there was part of the militia that was trying to take care of part of that but apparently they got a bunch of them boys scattered out but yeah that kind of you know he said even if it comes down to Just donate the money where they can buy the stuff there, you know and get it out and get it done But the other thing is we're having issues with clothes now this comes to my four-dumb simple country boys thinking and Anybody got a goose next forever top traders sitting around in their backyard is gonna be going out that way Use washing machines It wouldn't be that much of a big deal to take and put five or six of them things inside that goose next trap to one side. And drag out there, I mean cold water wash is better than nothing. Run one line down through there and cap the other one and run it out. Are we talking about clothing maintenance as in people are just getting dirty is what you're saying. Yeah, they're neat and they say they're neat and soft and the rest of stuff and everything else because they got no way to, you know, so, you know, let's build a militia of high trucks, you know, and send out their work. A laundry unit. Yeah, make up a laundry unit. The way to do that is anybody who has, anybody listening as a trailer, right now you can typically buy at the res, at the restores here in Michigan where we are. washers for about sixty dollars a piece to a hundred dollars a piece at the most and they're nice they're in good shape uh... usually they come from the out they were to look for those remember that in apartment complex they come up with their thousands of units apartment complex sales usually do service and they'll take out eighty to a hundred at a time and just automatically replace them that's what they do and that's where you're going to find the best price for the best machine that you could take out there quick and like you said what you do is uh... trailer unit uh... however as far as hot water goes it would be a big deal for the jam pack in there electric from the play you know seven thousand-watt generators should be enough to run five or six more for change it whatever but i mean it's up in there it would take a lot of time and it ain't going to go outside but yet there are people who need to be down i think the people who change and uh... setup or generator on the ground in front of it and uh... you know they'll agree that at night would think that even if they weren't the best looking machines as long as they were running and working and you know, they were put in there. But I thought about that as soon as they said it last night. But you know, apparently there's not. Another thing was is he's asking for help. Like you were talking about the engineers. getting out there and getting the water lines put back together and that kind of stuff and of course PDC and he said you know if you want to bring it in that's fine or you know they can get it there but either way but you know that was another thing he was talking about it they just haven't had time between trying to gather up stuff and getting it done and trying to get everybody taken care of but apparently temporary housing and all the rest of it a bunch of them got short that's what I got there I got an address You got an address for sending things? Yeah. Okay, go ahead and give that out and give it out three times, please. I had to get my eyeballs off. It's 3-3-1-0-L-D-V-U-T-T-E Bunkerville 89-007, Bondy Ranch. Now, are they able to get stuff? Now, this is what I need to have everybody work on here because We need an off-site delivery point that is secure separate from the Bundy Ranch. This was to them is what he said. Right now why? Because I've had experience with this more than a dozen times. We have outfitted and equipped. Remember the gray siege back in Texas. They're all on the branch. They're all still alive. Nobody covers this. The grays escalated to the point where they tried over a dozen times to prep an assault for the place. And we caught them on the ground because all the locals to keep an eye on the bad guys. In fact, one night they started to move in everything they had, just the same as Waco. They were going to try and pull a Waco there. And because everybody was up on it the moment the first light and battery pack went up, we were stomping on them. But we also, what I did is I sent in 100 plus gas masks. I sent in body armor, helmets. We can do this on the cheap. But I need to, again, we need to, for instance, they say they need socks. Like I said, apparently they're not being able to, you know, keep up with, I mean, the ranch has, I'm sure, got some facilities, but not enough to take care of near the people that are out there. And the militia, you know, they were asking for socks and that kind of stuff. And I thought, well, the guys could get out there and, you know, somebody going down and grab a bunch of socks or something. I have a wholesaler out there. I would rather, I know we could do it to the Bundy Ranch, but I'm gonna tell you my experience, it's still a problem no matter where you send stuff. Remember that if you use FedEx or if you use UPS, it doesn't make any difference. Trash during government are allowed to walk in and pillage stuff or do damage to things. But I don't have a problem shipping it. But we need, and this is what I need from anybody, we need the, we need the Bundy's to give us. They need to talk to two people. We need two separate addresses away from the ranch where they can receive stuff. The other thing is when we send stuff, we don't send it for the Bundy cause and we don't send it with an address that's recognizable. In other words, the Jewish International Colleges and Schools Association is a return address. We'll start David on there and you're the OY voice, okay? Or you can be the Kitty Love Cat Food or French Mid-Lapse Barbecue Service, okay? Anything but something that you know looks like it's Marshall. That's one of the tricks that everybody else is thinking about. You might try to get a hold of Sheriff Matt. He's been on the ground out there. He's got people out there also. on the ground, you might be able to get some more information from him or contact from him as far as to, I know there's families around there that are helping the family and the rest of the town, you might be able to coordinate something through that. Well, I'll tell you, if somebody wants to sponsor them right now, I can get Austrian Army OD Green Lightweight shirts or standard 50-50 cotton polyester for as cheap as you're possibly going to get them and up to 2X for the same price. Rib Stop uniforms right now. Desert uniforms. Desert blouses right now in camouflage and we're talking only a handful of dollars per item like $4 or $5 per item. Brand new. I mean new stuff that right now I just wore some of it last night. Yesterday I got some. And it's like they literally is in their backyard. We could have it to them in a day. got socks. Socks are a big problem in the military surplus right now and I got to point that out guys. If you see socks that are being thrown away at yard sales, if somebody's got a freebie box and there's a bunch of socks in there, I'm telling you grab them all. I've always argued that's going to be a shortage item and lo and behold, in the surplus industry, socks just aren't there. They used to be a 10 cent item. I used to buy socks by the barrel for like 10 cents a pair. I got a list I got a list here from something that oathkeepers put out. Tents, tent stakes. The tent stakes should be the steel kind that look like huge spikes okay. The ground there is like concrete. Yeah it is. Audience, the men have to stand in the sun are getting badly burned. Straw hats, vitamin D, sunscreens. skin lotion, vitamin E liquid, sunscreen, aloe vera gel, army cots, shovels, hammers, tools, porta-potties, plastic bags, spotting scopes, bright spotlights, medical supplies, personal first aid kits, propane stoves, something to cook on, propane tanks, flashlights, light sticks, those would be the Oh I know that. That's part of the list that I got too, but I couldn't keep up with it all and we don't have internet so I couldn't get it do you? But yeah, the Oklahoma militia is supposed to be out there too and they're supposed to have a site up. They might be able to chase somebody down through there, but yeah, those keepers, they're out there also. They're on the ground. Right. Well they're just throwing the list. Yeah. Okay, things like walkie talkies, batteries of all size, triple A, double A. C and D. Yeah, batteries were another one that they spent, uh, this is what I told you, so list, remember? Yeah. Coolers. What I found was I'm probably going to beat myself because I probably won't be able to get any more, but Home Depot has got solar rechargeable batteries and there are five dollars for four of them and they're a Mark, give me a second. Let me get my glasses on here again because I can't read the stupid thing. Okay. They are 800 milliamp batteries and they're 15 hours and 60 milliamps. So for a lot of that stuff, I've been playing with them here, they run a whole lot better than the just normal rechargeable batteries. And like you say, I took a couple of solar lights and opened it up and made jumpers still across. They only had one battery in them and stuck them out and stick them out there in the sun and they recharge just fine and it do two batteries. Okay, I'll give you an example. Well again with those remember we talked about solar pet anybody I won't care if you're going to the bunny ranch or not That's a hell of a price for rechargeable batteries right now. Yeah, it is that anybody's gonna go to the home desk spot You know how I feel about them home depot is still it's the idea that they grabbed when it's China sport We all know that but it's $5 for four batteries a dollar twenty-five a battery is a good price on the market right now But they're in the they're in the the yard lighting area with the lights. They're not in with the rest of the stuff. Excellent. Thank you for bringing that up because I'm going to go get some. Like I said, I'm probably going to fight myself on this one, but oh well. Scrambles what it can, guys, because again, anything rechargeable for that price, most of the companies that we were telling everybody to buy, you know, for 60 cents a piece, remember from the jobbers, they're all gone. There aren't any great prices on rechargeable batteries as industrial surplus. Now let me give you... Go ahead. What I did with my solar lights, I've got some of the older ones that had four panels on them, and I've got some that's got two panels that are a little bit bigger. And most of them have slots for two batteries, but they're only wired for one. Well, I took a piece of beer can and have done it up and hold it over to meet where the slots go in the second one and just run a couple of jumper wires across the other one. Of course, you set them up, positive, positive, negative, negative, so they're running in series and not going to pre-volt. And you snap them in there and they'll charge two batteries instead of just one and they do just as good. And they got plenty of fun out there. That ain't going to be an issue. But I'm gonna jump out here. I passed along when I guess I got this morning And if I come up with anything else Joe, I'll give you a call later. Yeah, you know, all right. Thank you. Yeah No, thank you for the update. We appreciate that again. That's Monday ranch 3315 gold you owed okay bunkerville, Nevada 8900 They've got a couple of pickup points here One is in Kalispell, which is obviously Montana on highway 93 If you're in the Idaho, you know that 93 corridor, of course, I have no idea where everybody is that 93 runs all the way down into Nevada, but If you want if you'd like to volunteer I've got some phone numbers here Two important phone numbers to write this down 7 0 2 793 9217 to volunteer. To check out any rumors or something along those lines you can dial 702 793 9219. Now for those of you out there listening, some of the things I'm looking at, you know, I don't know how many of you out there ever spend any time out in the desert I have and it's no fun. No fun at all. But they're needing other things like baby wipes, obviously for refreshing your face, just kind of taking toothpaste, disposable razors, deodorant, baking soda, vitamins and food supplements, average gel clothing, I suppose. I kind of wish everybody, we were carrying on there about what we were... People were being asked to wear at three minutes Levi's and teachers about as good as it gets you know and that way But but whatever but if you have some clothing you can send they're asking to Stay away from the camouflage stuff good if you have to go into town to ski something like that You look like a military zone, which yeah, we should be able to appreciate you got to be as smart as these people are okay Some of the other things here things like coffee I suppose they could use a chuck load of coffee down there. But any canned goods, canned chili, fruit, any kind of dry food, Ziploc bags and dry ice. I don't know where they would be getting dry ice down there. Well, the only place is typically, again, ice cream parlors or if you have actually somebody that makes ice cream. What's surprising me enough, I don't know how much time you ever spent in Nevada Mark, but I have never really noticed a lot of ice cream parkers in Nevada for one reason or another, you know Yeah, the one that well, I remember that that's true. I in the one that I did smoke when years ago It was out in the middle of nowhere. It was 76 and Guys that was also a murder leading temperatures. Those are record pictures that year global war bag and you know just plain hot hot summer and it sounded by 300 cars The one ice cream and oh by the way they had root beer too and they were running out. Let me give that address out again for those of you who didn't get a chance to write down. That's Bundy Ranch 3315 Gold Butte Road. Gold Butte. B-U-T-T-E. Gold Butte Road. Bunker Bill Nevada 89007. Once again Bundy Ranch 3315. Gold Butte Road, Bunkerville, Nevada, 89007. And folks, just like for the micro effect, we are the outside resource feeding in. Harry Reid can keep beating his drum and we'll keep sending supplies. And that's the way you do it. I would say that you can happen if you go to the dollar stores, number one. if you talk to a guy and tell him you'll buy a case you can typically get a case of something for about 10% off. You tell him, hey, I'd like to buy a case of stuff. What kind of discount can I get? If he says done, go check out another dollar store. But a case of the most toothbrushes for the least amount of money is what we're looking at. So if you can get eight toothbrushes for a dollar in a little carousel, so there's like 10, 20 to a case, that's twenty dollars reasonably spent okay you know exactly what it's going to go into and you ship it out there and they've got toothbrushes you know i don't know where to obtain them but uh... you can buy you can get them in boxes of toothbrushes that are preloaded with toothpaste okay all those are available through a lot of the camping supplies uh... but there should be a wholesaler again uh... where those also were found in hotel for hotel supplies Again, hotel and custodial restocking and supply points guys, they will offer chemicals in volume, but they also offer visual serving packs and everything really typically they're boxed up either as where you actually have one of everything offered as individual items 500 or 300 or 250 or whatever to a case. Typically the steward, the individuals who are the maids would be the ones that would be issuing out the material is needed. So that's a solution there. Same thing, go where they sold the toilet paper, they have all the other custodial supplies typically in stock and you can take a look at that and that would be a solution. Or you could be the poor man's supply company and just hit a casino and all the bathrooms. Yeah exactly. I've seen more pre-v stuff. Oh yeah, give me some more crackers. I need more crackers. they're in individual packets and kind of handy. Now here's the thing, I can get, for instance, glow sticks. These are military, they are ker-type. Case of this $30, what would that be, for 300 pieces? $0.03 a piece and cents a piece, right? So I can get them for $0.10 a piece right now plus the shipping. Somebody wants to sponsor, these are military, they're one of the wholesalers I've got, just when somebody mentioned those. Again, the small marker type which is cool especially for field use in the desert like that. Other items go like I said, some things I would not go with the military surplus deals because some of the stuff is commercial where we need the industrial. But for instance right now they have socks. Somebody wants to sponsor these, we'll give her the information after the bottom of the hour, break here a minute. I've got Czechoslovakian army socks, $75 a pair, $75 a pair, slightly in the microphone. 75 cents a pair, they were $75 a pair, they'll Wii U to Mars, okay. $75 for a case, but if we buy one block, it's $0.75 a unit and it's $9 for a pack of 12. And these are military long-body socks that go pretty much all the way up to the cap. So again, for that particular- Are they wooey? No, they're utility- like the Czech do some really strange stuff in socks. They do what's called cello socks. They're not cellophane, but they're a different material, different type of wool, and nylon, or wool and acrylic blend. And for the price, for what these are, this would be one where somebody wants to sponsor them. Now remember, they're still shipping. But what I would do is drop them right from the wholesaler and have them drop ship them right to the bunties. So there are socks that are available. If anybody's got sources or resources nearby, you know, a lot of stuff that's out in the desert is expensive. That's the one thing to remember. They don't have the same pricing indexes everywhere and the more you get towards Arizona, Utah, Southern Utah, the Four Corners area. Then you're talking stupid prices for stuff guys. There's a sign down there. I've been down that way many times, man. They get a sign that I pass. I always remember it. Next gas, 123 miles. Yeah, there's some motorcycles that won't go that far. Yeah. Think about it. Gotta go to break gentlemen. We got down here with us. Don, we're jumping to break, sir. Hey, you know how it works. We mentioned prices earlier and if you call up some of our sponsors, you get some good prices on their products. So, you know, call them up and purchase their product because they support the micro effect. We'll be right back, you guys. Ever wondered how to eliminate those stinky odors in your home? Hey, welcome back, folks. And we are down here at the bottom of the hour. You're listening to the Morning Intel Report. I'm Jim McNeil, here with Mark and Don, here this morning. And folks here were talking about getting some supplies down to the Bundy Ranch. And some of the things that seem somewhat ridiculous, the little handheld RF radios, those things reach about a mile and some instances even farther. And those little handheld radios, man, are very important. We use them around here, actually. to communicate. And one of the most important things that I can think of in a situation like this is communication, communication, communication, and the ability to communicate. Because if you have a guy out in the field somewhere, he sees something and he can't communicate, he might as well have seen nothing because he can't communicate. So if you're thinking about sending something, whether it's food or keep that communication thing, you know, you see them down in different places. I don't want to use Walmart. I almost said that. But I see them down here in our grocery store stuff, the little handheld RF radios, they work just fine. And if you string them out across like a daisy chain, you don't have to be able to reach the first guy, just reach one of them and he can pass the message down, down, down. And that's how that works. But these are times when If you go through this scenario one time, let me put it this way. If you go through something of this caliber one time, you get a true understanding of how things can easily be confused, how things can work, how to go about organizing something. It all just comes to you immediately because you're standing in the middle of it. And I'm sure there's a lot of guys that went down there, you know, maybe they weren't preparing to stay for You know a week or two weeks or whatever and now they realize yeah, I think I'm gonna stay And resources is the name of the game So what I whatever you can send out there, obviously anything that you can send out there would be helpful Let me give that address one more time in case you didn't get it written down for those of you up to resting Bundy Ranch three three one five Gold Butte Road, Bunkerville, Nevada 89007. One more time. Bundy Ranch 3315, Gold Butte Road, Bunkerville, Nevada 89007. Okay, and having said that, Mark Donne? One of the things I would point out again, if anybody, I said this from the beginning, and I am going to rub it in, guys, we told you so, that people who are the cool weapons and the neat toys and the logistics are what win the ammunition, the beans, the rice, the vassals, the Bibles, whatever it is that needs to be delivered, depending on the shopping list, that over and over again it is supply and support. That being the case, if any of you are listening and you're going out there, 25 pound bag of rice. 25 pound bag of red beans, there's 25 pounds. You can get 25 pound bags or you can get 25 one pound bags, I don't care. But you buy cheaper if you buy more. If you go to the Asian food stores or you know like markets, the big markets, Chubung has you know got pallets of stuff. It's where you'll find the best price probably for your rice and also for the beans. In addition to that, number 10 can cases of food. Now what I say buy food, take your pick whatever is the cheapest. If you can get corn on the shelf for a dollar a can or two dollars a can, buy it. If you can get, maybe you got a resale store or a distressed merchandise store down the road, go see what they've got in the way of gallon cans. You may find canned fruit, you may find canned beans, canned peas, canned corn, string beans, whatever it is, I don't care. And I don't think they will at the other. The idea is that remember when you plop a whole bunch of heifers down underneath the table, put that table there and they expect to not take long to go through pounds of- Hey, you know, there are some that might say on occasion weking about his current events. Way back button, way, way, way back. On occasion we've been procured for your own copy of The Art of War by some ancient Chinese general. Guys, if you have your own copy, and I might be wrong about this, but I don't think so, I think I've read that book about 31 times. My trains get longer. And what do they tend to shut off? The supply drain. The first thing that will be shut off, and this is what happened with the gray ranch, this is what happened with the Bundys, will happen with the Bundys eventually, forgive me, but this is what happened at Waco. Now the difference is that, number one, we need alternate address for somebody who can receive material who is outside the circle where they are, where the Bundys are. Now the reason for this is for a period of time, be able to drive in. What happened is in step one, they're going to Eventually, the alternate route is going to be cut off. You'll have to be infiltrating and exfiltrating cross country. Well, when you have to infiltrate and exfiltrate cross country in the desert, you better be doing most of your traveling at night, and even then, you better know where you're really going. That's where your night vision comes in. That's right. That's night vision technology and why you need it. Hey, we got Bill in Texas hanging on the line here. Let's grab Bill. Let's go Bill in first. Go ahead. Bill jump in there, please. Good morning, guys. I grew up in the desert. The hottest city in time, temperature is not the highest it gets. I remember 135 one day. And this is what I learned about surviving in the desert. You wear brace on your skin and generates a colder layer. When you're wet on the head, it evaporates and cools the skin direct. It might get flushed out. You want your water to be used, everything it needs to be used for. Another trick we did is we would find the smooth, small pebble. Take that under your tongue and that would keep flowing so you're... I heard on the news is that they're closing $1,000 store. Go shopping at a dollar store, call around and see if one of the ones in your area is closing and you might get extra deep. By the case. And if you're in the desert and there's like a wars where there's like somebody took a knife and cut a groove, you don't go in there. You're in another state and you not even know it. And the next thing you know, there's a... way and every few years people die in those things don't know better. Dry Gulch doesn't necessarily dry a gulch, they're called a wash for a week. I was just curious you know what you thought of my way we learned to survive in the desert. Right now I've got an opportunity this is why I need some sponsors. Guys I just received a bunch of clothing so I had examples but right now desert patterned clothing, ripstop, in camouflage or OD green, dirt cheap sponsors. I can't do what I did back in the 90s. I dumped thousands of dollars into the grays in terms of material. I just can't do it. And I don't need thousands. We're talking ridiculously cheap prices for you. But it allows us to dump material and equipment on site for us. And we had dollars for us back in the 90s, by the way. In fact, we could get more junk for less back in the 90s, remember? The big thing here is again, proper dress with the right clothing and the right mindset. Constantly thinking. Remember, we're not back east here. We're in the lake state. That's the biggest problem for transition people like us. It's going from a lake state like this where we are sucking moisture. I mean, we're wet right now. Today we're damp in the air. But now you go from there down to Arizona, Southern Nevada, even down where Bill is in Texas right now. There ain't no moisture. Oh my goodness, Mom, why am I so dry? You are the moisture. That's right. You're where they're getting the moisture from because you're water fat right now. You're the... Exactly. You know, I might mention too, just things that you need to know. There's been cases where people have run out of gas in the desert and you know, folks, If you use your head, I don't care where you are, you're not going to find a lot of shade out there in the desert. So if you're in a vehicle, you run out of gas or something, or you broke down, whatever, jack up the car and get under it. That's shade. use the vehicle for shade and know that nighttime is going to be colder than hell. I don't know, you've probably done this Bill, stand out there in the middle of the desert in the middle of the night and you feel the warm air come by. Then the cold air comes by, then the warm air comes by. So there's no, it's not going to be warm all the time is my point. So you have to be prepared for these nights. If you're in the high desert, like an example, Death Valley is high desert, you can get hypothermia at night if you're not prepared for it. I was in the low desert, so that wasn't a big problem. But everybody I knew, you know, that like five gallons of water in their trunk was this upper and lower, stuff would be shoved under your seat or someone. You get stuck out there and the nearest real town, I mean, there's big towns, 150 miles away. Yeah, when you see this sign, next gas, 123 miles, You know you've got a ways to go. And they mean it. So anyway, that's all I had. I thought I'd give those pointers for surviving in the desert. The main thing is one sip and a pebble under your tongue and those exercise clothes and those big straws. That's all I got. Good point. Thank you Bill. Alright. And, uh, man, there's all kinds of things we can sit here and talk about, but you know, you just know that being out in the desert, just being there, uh, is, is dangerous. It really is. Oh, I spent the summer in Arizona, in Phoenix, that's why I went back to school. Pay attention, one can learn respect for the desert, really. Yeah, well, there's not a lot of resources out there, and if you don't know what to use or how to go about doing it, you can die pretty quick. Oh, we've talked about over the years winter. Well, you know, for some reason, you know, maybe it's just me, but I think I would have an easier time dealing with a winter situation than I would a desert situation. I've always rather would rather fight in winter than summer in any condition. It's not difficult to have a field situation to stay warm. You can't take off enough clothes in the summer. In fact, the biggest thing there is, again, water is a desert situation. Actually, any summer situation, guys. battles of the American war for independence and throughout history had it won or lost based on the equivalent to one canteen's worth of water. When that medal of honor for during the Custer and Reno point. Oh yeah the ones who made it you mean? Yeah. The ones that had the 28 to 40 clanking empty canteens trying to sneak down to the river only to have they were still alive and so then the would pull out their knives and would turn them into small chunks of human being over a period of oh, a day or so while everybody else could hear it happening. There are some though who did make it and came back so that the wounded or the dying could have one mouth full of water per person because we made it back with a handful of canteens. Not only that but thousands in general. I will repeat again and out there what was the first thing that I've said number one fill up any water container anything that's hollow that can hold water should be full water on the Bundy Ranch right now. Number two, everybody coming in, rather than all those stinking pizzas that everybody showed up with, was bought, you know, you realize how much money that would have been in pallets of food. Everybody taught, treated it like a tailgate party. This is my problem with this. There are people, this is a fufu as opposed to the real life situation we're dealing with and the fact that they're having to put the very quickly because here's the other problem don't you think the enemy's listening? Hello everybody. This seriously an act like adults. No more pizzas. I don't want a pizza to show up. You know I can just picture this I'd love to do this as part of a trading video. I need rations man! I'm gonna die! Uh pizza boy, pizza boy hair, oh my thank god he showed up with a pizza! the battlefield. Does Domino's deliver on the battlefield? I don't know, they might. It'd be kind of fun. They have the Domino's Pizza. Now the question becomes, is he a combatant or not? Well, he's actually working the Domino's Pizza. Do we have to stop and search him like seizing a vessel on the high seas? No, it's like the Red Cross. What happens when they say no more pepperoni? If he wears the Domino's Pizza logo on his arm, it's like the Red Cross armband. Both sides will be neutral with regard to his activities. It will allow him to deliver the pizza. Yeah, but the Red Crescent guys will shoot the Red Cross. Those guys will shoot the Red Crescent guys. So, see how that works. So Pizza Hut and Domino's have a battle in the same field. Right, well they'll be killing each other separately. That'll be another... He's like, I get this... But yeah, I get this area of control. No, I have this area of control. So we have the sub battles going on. Oh yeah, realistically. Range wars. Now real quick, before we're going farther here, everybody grab a pen, write this down. Everybody grab a pen, write this down. They need radios out there. I did a quick search. It's not maybe the best price, but... Well, it actually is but what I can see. First of all, here's how we do this. Listen up. Forgive me. Correction, correction, correction. First of all, go to dealextreme.com. www.dealextreme.com. You can also punch in www.dx.com. stream.com. Okay. Then you go to electrical and tools. That's the category off to the left. Electrical and tools. They have a subcategory in the bubble that appears. It says Waukee, Taukee, your third step. Once you get to that third step, there's a radio. It's actually a pair of radios. I was looking for sets, more for less. The Bell South E388, 0.5 watt, 1.0 inch LCD, 5 kilometer range, Waukee, Taukee. They're black, four double A's. That's the most important thing to take, standard batteries. A lot of the little FRS radios you gotta be careful of guys because you might get them cheap but they take a special plate battery, a little box battery that is unique. It ain't the razor, it's the blade. It doesn't come with any batteries but you know what? We already had a solution here offered by going to the stores and getting whatever batteries you can or go to the dollar store and get eight of those batteries for a dollar. I don't care. The item number for this radio is KU. 1, 2, 7, 3, 9, 4. Again, that is 1, 2, 7, 3, 9, 4. The unit price is $25.88 for two batteries. Man, this is a terrible morning. Two radios, they're BellSouth China Sport radios. They're made for BellSouth here in the US. But BellSouth They're $25.88 for a pair. Right now they're 28% off. Obviously they're probably going to discontinue these is what I think they're doing. But they got a bunch of them on the shelf. They're not a fancy radio, but they are a very affordable radio. Again, they take four double A's, looks like side by side. It's a fairly wide little unit, so it's got good control. Smaller is not better than in radios. When you're trying to touch all those little stinking buttons people, it's a real, shall we say, bummer while the old pucker factor's going up. So keep in mind that a little bigger and a little lunkier means it's more user friendly for the people who are in the field. Now again, this is go to dealextreme.com. Once you get to dealextreme.com, go to electrical and tools. From there go to walkie talkies and the bubble that'll show up. And then you will, if you scroll through, again the item is Bell South 388.5 watt, 1 inch LCD, 5 kilometer range walkie talkie. Remember these are not supposed to be for mountainside and mountainside. That's what your CV's for or your marine channel radios. But these are great for in the area or on the ranch for kind of, for in the defensive perimeter use. from the vehicle to say somebody who steps out of the vehicle and walks over to the edge of the ridge there, they can talk direct. That's how you have to use these. Don't think of these as base county radios. It's not what they're for. This radio net should be for the fire team, for the squad, for the workers and the ranchers, for the recon teams, whoever, but they stay within that. They're in a pod. They're supposed to be in a hub. 25-88 per set. 127394. 127394. 127394. 127394. Okay? So there's a solution for a handheld unit, not a bad little piece of equipment. BellSouth, everybody buys China Sport, the only thing is the label they put on it, guys. Just think about it, it means the same continent. Many of these radios would go, man, it looks just like my radio, but it says, Bao Choo Choo Bong Bong. Well yeah it does because it was made by Bao Choo Choo Bong Bong. In fact for that matter you don't know that Bao Choo Choo Bong Bong doesn't mean Bell South and Chinese and they're just lying to their own people. This will make it America. Bell South. Oh that quality American stuff. Really? Why are they spending Chinese people? There you go. Cinderella calling Betty Booth. Do you have a copy? That's right. Shh. We copy over. Shh. Now again guys, this is one of the solutions, but obviously the basics are needed. We need a truck from every state to show up and dump off a block of stuff. I'm not talking pizzas and I'm not talking pretty garbage. I'm talking staples. I told you this before from the beginning and I'm not going to be nice about it because here's how it works. You're fighting a war. Okay, for every person who showed up there, they could have showed up at their tailgate party and still each one of them, if they'd spent $20 on two cases of number 10 size cans of food, not only would they have had their little party, but everybody would be sustained. You know, in other words, you'd have long term sustainment. I don't know what it is about this popcorn culture with America, but we're going to learn real quick through, shall we say, the fire of, you know, a battle. that, uh, Bo, I really would like to be eating right now. Now, it doesn't mean that, you see, here's one of the reasons I'm bringing this up. These are what are called A-Rations. For as long as you can supply troops with A-Rations, they're not gonna be eating out of their backpacks, they're specialized foods. You're not supposed to be doing that. Your combat pack and your battle pack, your home pack, need to be left loaded because you don't know if you're gonna have to DV the AO.
