Well, how do you think you're going to be concealing it from them? Buy heirloom seeds, lots and lots of seeds. Yes, of course, practice careful ops-ec operational security when making large purchases. Store long-term food supplies in more than one location. Yes, that's a good idea. Dispersion and slash cash-chain. That way, if you lose some of your supplies to thugs, government, or other varieties, you still have supplies to fall back on. Again, I would remind you, those are not, they are Chinese SKS's, but they were not imported from China. You've got to remember that China sent over what I think is it 10 million SKS's out as hands across the water rifles to Africa. They also sold many of those SKS's or issued those SKS's to other armies in Southeast Asia. That's where these rifles are coming from most likely this particular batch the ones that just recently have started to run out again Came actually from Vietnam in fact they are Vietnamese issue SKS is that you probably if you're a Vietnam veteran they were firing at you with these guns guys These are the ones that everybody thought they wanted you they want a nest cast because it's like with those guys on the other side We're carrying well this batch of SKS is are the ones that they were carrying Oh, I see. Yeah, that's how it works. So some just to think about there, again, they're out of stock though. The SKS's are out. I don't know for sure. Again, I'd do classicfirearms.com. I hadn't really mentioned them yet. But classicfirearms.com has been carrying the SKS's. Another company is Royal Tiger Imports. They've had the broken stock models. Now they have restocked fairly quickly so I think they have a better connection on them guys. However, do I like the SCAS? Oh hell yes. Would I change it up? No, not at all. I'd leave it exactly the way it is out of the box right now. There are some nice stocks. I wouldn't change the magazine for the same reason I've argued for years. It's one less thing to worry about because I just have to use 10 round stripper clips from the top and if I can't hit it with 10 rounds, I better be staying focused, number one, I'm not going to blaze with this gun. The SKS has a 20 inch barrel, it is, while it's a carbine by comparison to the assault rifle, which is what the AK is, the carbine in reality has a little more range, a little more energy, and typically the SKS is a nice, tight, light sniper rifle if you want to build it up as such. You can get a very nice both American or the Chinese made dust cover mounted scope fixtures. They've been making them for what least 25 years now. One of the companies used to be out of Tennessee is now part of Tapco. They are selling these, a number of different companies are selling these dust cover rear receiver, scope mount fixtures. They can be used for night vision or they can be used for conventional glass slash scopes. It's your choice. I personally like an intermediate fixed range scope. Nine powers fine. Preferably, again, something that's by Burris, usually you find those fairly cheap. I've seen Burris scopes for, well, on bottom for $40 a piece. For scopes, they went for anywhere from $150 to $200 back in the day. There's nothing wrong with the scope. It's just that it doesn't have any fancy bells or whistles. It's a straightforward. Once it's sighted in, that scope is on for that range. Know what your point of impact is at different ranges automatically and place your shot accordingly. But the S-cast is a fine weapon for, you know, again, the particular class makes a good 5-10 rifle. Certainly it's a good personal defense weapon. It's one of many options that are out there. It's almost as expensive though now as an AK. So if you want, it's a toss-up. You know, you can get a little, you can get S-cast for a little less than an AK, which means you can buy basically the rifle and you can buy a pile of ammunition for what you pay for just the rifle. That's the balance. That's what you're looking at right now. Anyway, AIM Surplus does have a bunch of other preview partisan ammunition that has come in. I'm not going to go through it individually. I would recommend that you survey AIM Surplus. They do have a good, they're on the shopping list, I think, for again, for stuff that's pre-ordered. And so they've had a steady stream of different preview partisan ammo coming in. Right now, for instance, they just had a batch of 7mm OA-8. PSP 140 grain boat tail, 20 rounds for $16, which is not bad. Now that is a standard commercial hunting load, but I won't have any problem putting that into a black uniform most especially a crotch or into the leg. When that goes through and comes out the other side, the size of a pizza pie, hey, that's fine by me. That'll do just fine put the bullet where it'll do the most damage and do the least damage to the equipment You're gonna take off the corpse. Okay, so again the preview partisan PP use seven millimeter. Oh wait PSP 140 grain boat tail 20 round box for $16 isn't it's 1595 will say $16 There are other preview partisan loads that they have Also, it appears that they have restocked on their 7 6 Nope, I'm sorry if they did restock and it's gone as of today. Oh man well forget that when I was going to mention that but they're out of their 7.62x54 R ammo again. They had cans come in, they sold out immediately and so again you're going to have to go to another site for that. I would recommend by the way one more time go to let's go this direction. www.classicfirearms.com Okay, ClassicFirearms.com, the reason I'm bringing them up is they do have the NAGOTS, and I've had a couple of letters that came in here in the last three days asking about those again, so I'll just bring it up on the air. Now, they do have the NAGOTS like everybody else has for about $140, $150 apiece. and they did have but you know what they may already be out again i would be surprised let's see what happens here looks like we're not shopping in a happy camper world here the uh... anyway the maloxi of the great bees that have come in and i don't see them jump it off the table here although you see a pink uh... stock a.k. which is Now basically we're looking at about $130, $140 for the S-Casses that they show in stock. The other weapon that I've been recommending that they have been carrying at ClassicFirearms.com is the small, low capacity, the low capacity Yugoslavian AKs with 20 round, 20 10 round mags. It appears, and I'm looking very carefully here because I thought they had still the one thumbhole model in stock. They may have sold out of those today. And in fact, I'm thinking that they did. As a matter of fact, they look like they are out of inventory. In fact, they're so far out of the inventory, they're around the corner around, which is rather interesting. OK, well, again, the SKS is where you want to go if you're looking for something for a reasonable price. and for quantity up there on stock good that means you guys listen what we were talking about thank you appreciate that and a lot of people have stated they were gonna pick those up and if our people got him that's good that's what i wanted to see so congratulations well done yet twenty mags pushing an a k weapon four hundred fifty dollars you can't beat that i don't care what anybody said you can't beat that anyway But they still do have the Zastava PAP M77 PS rifles and .308, beautiful weapon. I'd hug if you gave that one to me. It's an excellent firearm if you passed it out. There are many other options right now. It's catch-it-as-catch can. I cannot guarantee that what we're looking at will be on the shelf. But again, there are still nagats for about now about $130 to $150 apiece. The $100 grade B's apparently have come in a little flood and Looks like the water is already receding from that line. Again, for 100 to 110 if they come back in, that makes them quite affordable. Now, other options in terms of ammunition, by the way. Remember, UNAMO.com, UNAMO.com, UNAMO.com, if you're looking for unique or odds and ends stuff. The basic work most everybody's carrying, like even classic, has got 7.62x39. They got 5.45x39. It isn't $80 a can anymore, guys. Now it's $239 for a can. One, you know, one can of 1080 rounds. So I would say, any of you who bought that stuff when I told you to, when it was $80 a can, you did pretty well, didn't you? I'd say you should be pretty darn happy. In fact, a wise man indeed. So, as it is, again, the basics are there, at least in 760x39, some 545, and a little bit of pistol. They've got some 9mm poly, they've got some... Well, that's about it. So, three calibers, maybe four calibers available through classic firearms, and that's it. Now, I would recommend, again, going to... unammo.com, unammo.com, unammo.com, www.unammo.com. Disposted that for our friends in the chat room there. One of the reasons, as we pointed out, They're picking up the guy that's doing this is grabbing whatever he can there's some 22 ammo don't I gotta pay attention some of the stuff they're offering will not work in your weapon it wasn't meant to There is some specialized ammo that was done for cowboy guns and there is of course some of the other odds and ends stuff that Has shown up on the market that he's posting That you really can't get anywhere else but what I've seen what's really kind of neat is the stuff is quite affordable and By comparison, they're not being able to buy it at all, right? But there is, for instance, he's got some 17 PMC and 17 HMR Horned V-Max. For those of you who converted your rifles there about one or two years ago, like a lot of guys were buying the conversion kits, that ammunition has become kind of tough to find. They've got it at unammo.com. And in fact, he just got a good quantity in. So if you're looking for a, you know, if you switched your Ruger over to that 17 or to that 5 millimeter round, here's your solution. Okay, there's a way at least puts more ammo on the shelf. Buy it. If you're going to stick with that. Now, of course, you didn't throw away your 22 barrel, right? so it's not a big deal switch out your rifle back to 22 keep everything whenever you do a transition gun always keep the transition material that you do took off the weapon if you've got a K98 Mauser and somebody convinces you to go over to 308 fantastic I don't have a problem with that but hang on to the barrel they took off why it's already tuned to that rifle if you understand how K98 barrels are built Remember that that barrel could be pinned right back on if you run into a pile of 8mm but you can't get any .308. You could untork that barrel, reapply that 8mm barrel, replacing the .308, go back to the .08, and you could be using 8mm Mauser in that weapon again. Now, yes, it does require some Armstrong. You do have to know a little bit about what you're doing, but remember, you don't have to tune the barrel. The barrel is the part that gets tuned to the weapon, so once you have a barrel that's fitted to the gun, you don't want to throw it away. You put it in cosmoline, clean it up, scour it off, make it look as pretty as possible, grease that puppy and put it in a sleeve, and hang onto it. You never know what you're going to run into. Somebody might all of a sudden go around the corner. You have no 308, but somebody has two semi loads of 8mm Mauser. You're going to see that, people. Back in the 90s, I tried to get everybody to buy this. It was 1,500 round blocks of 8mm Mauser for $60. Do you remember that? They were hand-braised or hand-soldered tin cans that were made to go around the blocks of ammo. Now, they also had it in 1600, it came in 1300, then 1500, or 1600 rounds to a can for $60. Some people went down to Knob Creek and literally bought a pallet. Now, they, right now, one bandolier out of that can of 1600 rounds is going for $78 in the ammunition in a bandolier in stripper clips. Steel case, copper jacket, bullet, the whole nine yards. It's World War II type production, but it's Romanian type. Anyway, the stuff was out there in force. A lot of people took advantage of that and they bought semi-trailers full. So that ammunition is out there. Those mousers will continue to function. That's why, and it's not out on the market, you'll notice. There is some 8mm. In fact, if we scroll down, the same basic ammunition, if you go to UNAMMO.com, is available right now. In fact, here it is, 8 millimeter miles in Romanian, but it's in the hamcans. And again, you're looking at, let's see, 680 rounds in a crate for $375 if you pick it up, $410 if you have it shipped to you. Okay. So think about it. Now again, $60 for 1,600 rounds is what we paid. That means, and all that stuff got cleaned off the shelf, guys. So it's out there somewhere, and it didn't get blazed away. People didn't just blast that ammo. Instead, what they did is they opened up those cans and repackaged it into 50-caliber cans. It was in bandoliers. The bandoliers fit perfectly into a 50-cal can like they were, like the can was built for it. And then you have combat loaded 50 caliber cans with 8mm Mauser in them. you're going to run into it so again don't get rid of any of those weapons you have just be prepared in fact having those diverse weapons on the shelf means that you might be able to fight with nobody else can because the ammunition may be in one place the weapon in another lo and behold you come across that now you can function now another you know we'll remind everybody and this is not the only company that has it but a lot of you guys have not a lot but several of you correct myself on that several of you have the uh... ten millimeter uh... pistols out of the uh... eighties and nineties the ten mil auto uh... is a good cartridge another wrong with it fact uh... the latest contract that's available through uh... you and a m o dot com the latest ammunition as a government contract overrun uh... so in other words the government contract over That's kind of interesting, isn't it? Okay, so just something to think about there Ball ammunition it is 40 it is for you me. It's 10 millimeter and it's a standard 10 millimeter case So if you're looking for that go to oh wait a minute I should you know what there was one case of that left as I thought I better double-check that Well, you guys like to scroll through and look but I don't see it jumping off the page where it was either I wouldn't be surprised if you guys bought it out because again it's a unique ground. If somebody's got the pistol then I can understand them grabbing the ammunition. They've got 40 Smith in a black and white government contract box. Somebody may have already moved on that. They may have heard what I was saying on the air and if that's the case, I think they did. Looks like it might be gone. That happens. Again, this is not surprising at all because, again, if you got a 10mm, it was a great price for a brand new ammunition factory. Anyway, they do have some 50 cal in good quantity, 2.0 PMC and a number of other loads. They definitely have the armor piercing incendiary load, my favorite actually. That's the great double punch. If it does stick and they're wearing threat level 4 armor, it goes through the front armor which slows it down some. backplate it might lock it in while that trace is burning and the cinder around is burning while it's stuck to the body armor that's kind of cool. If he's still breathing at all he's getting flamed. Oh that's kind of sad isn't it. No, not really. Not at all. Anyway, so just remember, lots of unique ammunition. You're going to have to go through the scroll. I noticed he's gone through a couple of different calibers completely. He's out for the moment, but this guy scours the countryside. I think he scours the Mexican countryside, as in from the Federales. Anyway, it says Aguila 30 caliber carbine in stock right now. 1000 rounds for $490. If you're down there in Arizona, you can go pick it up. I've shot Aguila 30 carbine forever since it was in the old yellow boxes and yellow and black boxes and then it was in the screaming eagle on it. The 30 caliber carbine ammunition, there's a lot of carbine south of the border or Dominican Republic carbine type rifles along with other countries out of the Caribbean that made silhouette knockoffs of the carbine. Now these rifles use 30 caliber carbine ammo, they use carbine magics, but they were unique rifles made in the Caribbean as a competition or as a solution comparable to the M1. There's a lot of those still floating around in third party hands and that's why this carbine ammunition is still being made by Aguila, still being made heavily by PMC. Also several other Asian companies make large quantities of 30 caliber carbine. Why? For shorter and smaller people the carbine is very popular weapons, very comfortable to shoot. Perfect size for the smaller infantrymen and offers good volume fire and reliable action. So, in lots of US government parts, which is why they liked it guys, because we gave them, told them in many cases, in your. Anyway, again, take and check out the inventory and the scroll that they have there. Now, next, something I would point out, get a bayonet for every rifle you have that can take a bayonet. I will repeat again, you know, buy a bayonet for every weapon you have that can take a bayonet. And the reason I bring that up is because, again, while you can pick them up, while you've got them, a sharp pointy thing on the end of that weapon is kind of handy when it comes to dealing with problems, okay? So it would be a real good idea, especially if you have to turn or something just pops up in front of you. You may have to worry about point of impact beyond the target. You can thrust with a bayonet, you can sweep with a bayonet, you can still brace butt with a rifle. Remember that cross-stroke. If something shows up to your left and you're bringing the weapon up, push the rifle into the face of the target. Cross-bar them just like you're doing a push-up. We were taught that forever. It's one of the things we've got to remind everybody, but after you do that, follow up. Either come step back, sweep across with the band head after you've slapped them in the face, step back and as you do pull the weapon back, cross the blade over the side of the head and across the face or along the neck, and then recover and thrust into the target. Again, remember then if pull back, butt stroke, butt stroke, sweep again with the blade, thrust with the blade, and if it gets stuck in the bone pull the trigger to let the round work as a rocket assist. How's that sound? Anyway, just rules of thumb. If you've got a weapon that has a bayonet stud, you better make sure you've got a bayonet for it. Now for a lot of you guys that have FNFLs, there are several variations on the FNFL bayonet available, guys. First of all, do a little research to see which one you need for your weapon. Some of you have the no-muzzle compensator flat, crowned barrel on your on your foul. If you do, let me point out that the bayonets that they made actually have a pickle fork type flash hider, but also it's a wire cutter. Designed so that with the bayonet you scoop the wire up, push the bayonet into it, the pickle fork holds the wire, you pull the trigger and it cuts the wire. Everybody understand that? It's that simple. So anyway, for you FAL operators, you really, really, really need to pick up a bayonet. If you've got a garand, an M1A, an M1 carbine, get a bayonet. If your carbine is a plainfield and you don't have a carbine bayonet lug on the front of the rifle, that plainfield is a standard US mil-spec gun as far as the dimensions. You can mount a standard bayonet lug fixture on that carbine, a complete front ring. It includes the bayonet, the way it's stamped and wrapped around the barrel. Okay, you're going to pop off. You have to dislocate the front sight. Slide on the The fixture, slide off the original, slide on the new fixture. Restation the barrel, or the front sight and congratulations, you're ready to go. So, carbine banettes, there are reproductions. I wouldn't worry about buying new or if you can find battlefield used. Shop around, don't spend $100 on a bayonet, watch for stuff that's out there that's serviceable, but used. Or watch for reproductions. If you're looking at $100 or $150, remember it doesn't need anything special. It simply needs to have something that goes pokey pokey. And if it's U.S. mill but it's tired, maybe in good condition or even fair condition, that'll do. It's good American steel. There's nothing wrong with that. Just remember that they probably re-park-rise it. A lot of the bayonets that came in from Korea were tired. They've been field used for a long time. They threw them in a park-rising vat and re-park-rise them to give them a finish. Otherwise, the blades have been sharpened and re-sharpened and are worn a little bit. They still work. And if they're cheaper, that's fine. Most important is that they connect to the bayonet lug and that they fix to the weapon properly. That's all you're worried about. As long as that blade is functional, it's designed poking and slashing. It'll do. Now, as a solution, budk.com. I mentioned this earlier today. I'll bring this up again. If you go to www.budk.com. They have aftermarket bayonets and a number of different configurations even have the copy of the it's a Chinese copy or Taiwanese copy whoever made it really don't care. It is a utility bayonet that will work just fine but it's made model after the original Vietnam early Vietnam M16 E1 bayonet. The E1 model bayonet that originally was proposed and Stoner gave the thumbs up to. The model that everybody's more familiar with, it was a change up and is actually the Mark II. They gave it another designation, but it was the second generation of bayonet to be proposed. And it's what they preferred to go to based upon the design lines of the M14 bayonet and the carbine bayonet. That's why they built it, the way they built it. That's why they adopted it the way that they did. Stoner's idea, pretty well stuck. Ooh, pardon the pun, bayonet, stick, whatever. Anyway, the idea is that there's a lot of different solutions out there, but Bud-K has, for instance, their M16 Bannette knife is $10. It's got a stainless steel blade. If you're worried about it bright, here's what you do. Break out the paint and it's $9. Again, I don't know if it comes with a sheath. I don't think it does. I wouldn't care. I'd make one out of nylon. But anyway, oh no, it does include a leather sheath. Forgive me. uh... so there you go that's a simple bandit for ten dollars nothing fancy not worried about being party all i'm worried about is get some on their scenes stab somebody with it when the time comes a little extra seven pounds of energy behind it remember well five pounds if you're carrying a car fifteen or an m four or plastic uh... polymer receiver take a pic but these are a good solution and again for ten dollars you're not out anything okay will work well enough There are other replicas or reproductions out there. The M1 Garand banettes are going for $25 for the repros. They're good enough for what they're for as a working blade. Save your antique or your original for down the road. But if you're caring for now, you can buy the M1 Garand historical banettes for $25 from Bud-K. That and other... 1903 Springfield and the Grand Bannette are the same. So if you've bought one of these new 1903 Springfields, that bannette will work on your Springfield. Okay, so just something to think about there. We are going to the top. We're going to hear the music here in just a minute, but I would remind everybody for cheap blades, something you can, you know, stuff into a corner or an odd location. Check out their sales, check out their less expensive plating, when you put some cash in, the ideas are in a 5-10 program, it's enough to get people going. They want to upgrade?
