Keep using those Jefferson nickels, those Jefferson dollar coins and the $2 Jefferson bills to reinforce, reinforce, reinforce what's going on out there. Tell you what, it is a beautiful Well, actually it's been a beautiful weather day across the whole of the country, plus or minus a few chills there and there, who really cares considering how nice it's been. It is the 1st of April, it is the 6th year of open Fabian Socialist and Soviet Socialist Occupation of America with a K2000 and 14 Old Earth Calendar or Mayan Crazy Town Crazy Town and The wind has been constant so it's kind of drying everything out the rest of the way, pulling moisture off anything that might be built up out of sight out of mind. That's a good thing. Got a lot of work done in terms of general maintenance and construction today. Also some much needed PM that needs to be done to certain things. We've got radio equipment had to tweak on a bench unit uh... this afternoon for a whole but half an hour so i'm trying to get that job done but i got a share time with everything else uh... it is communications tuesday i want to emphasize something i mentioned this morning and i really want to qualify a little bit farther uh... into the uh... idea of to pay attention to packaging A lot of you guys have asked about personal radios. There's all kinds of personal radios in VHF, UHF, AM, FM. You get personal CB radios. They're actually quite compact now, etc. But you can also get the FM radio and the FM bands we've been using for years. There's any number of different things. I still recommend your local area out of the truck stops. If you're lucky, a lot of them have markdown departments. you know cabinets or they've got stuff that they're getting rid of it's in the bubble plastic it's communist chinese-made who cares all of it is right now as far as an handheld radio scope But if you're lucky, like at one of the truck stops we got four or five here the other day, I think it was like $4.19 a piece markdown. They're VHF radios and nice little units. They're all on the same frequency, but I double checked beforehand because they're channel specific. Now, I mentioned this morning that you've got to pay attention. Your information on inside that little bubble card will tell you what frequencies your equipment operate at or what channels they operate on if there's designated commercial channels based upon the setting and readout on the radio. For example, you have 40 channels on CB. Originally 23, then they added more because of the amount of interest on CB radios. And that's how we got 40 channel radios. Now there's upper and lower sideband which triples the number of available frequencies on top of everything else, but the basics, the basic radio works with 40 channels as we know. Single sideband, upper and lower is an option you pay more money for. With the Micro FM headsets and handheld radios, both of those are available. There's an A, B, C, D, and E frequency. Now, as long as it says on the card, if you don't say you have single channel radios, you have just one frequency, it's the FM, still either B, all five channels are listed with a little control that will go from A to B, B to C, C to D, and D to E. So, A, B, C, D, E. Real simple. However, many of those radios are channel specific. So if you're planning on outfitting a whole squad with these radios or with a radio like this in one channel so that they don't squawk over onto the next squad's frequency, remember, pay attention to how you're issuing the mount. Now, I'd give you a little recommendation here. You don't have to repaint everything, but one of the tricks that works really well is to use camouflage color paint bands on the radio so that everybody knows that's an A. You can even paint A on the radio. Why not? Actually paint an alpha an a on the radio. Those are a frequency radios. Why well guys? If you've got a bunch of people in a squad and somebody decides to you know not pay attention is brain dead that moment or it doesn't pay attention to you most of the time or is kind of halfway there You may still make the mistake anyway, but by properly marking the radios in a more dominant way, it's less likely that people are going to make these mistakes. The other advantage is in handling. Maintenance and supervision, repair, and of course, needless to say, the basics, distribution. How do you issue these things out? If you go to the truck stop and you have, say, 10 radios there and they got a tremendous price on these little handheld. I mean, it's a stupid price You can't pass it up. You know in many cases they do come in double packs, you probably pay $8, $6, $10, $12 a set when they're marked down or you pay $16, $18, $20, $22, $25 a set. Well again, beware, be careful, make sure that these radios can talk to each other if you're buying for the whole group and you need them all to be the same. Look at what it is that's in the package. Read the instructions. I know it sounds strange but a lot of people just assume because it's all rack and stack. Remember the people at the truck stops aren't really worried about that. They're thinking you're supposed to read and most of them could care less whether or not you figured out what the product is as long as you buy it. They figured, well, if you bought it, you do know what it is. So don't blame them. Common sense is look at the material, do a quick survey of what you're picking up. Now, as I also said, if you've got one set of radios and you're buying them for $8, $9, or $10 a set, but there's one set of two radios in a blister pack, they're different from the others, It doesn't mean you can't use them. It just means you may want to make sure you properly mark them for very specific tasks. In other words, those two radios get slaved to each other and are used in the base camp. Say, I'm going to walk out to the vehicles or something. OK, take the Bravo radio. OK, and so the person picks up the radio, takes it with them. Congratulations, it's that simple. And you can listen in on another frequency, or you'll use that particular radio between two people in the field when they're talking to each other. That's also something that needs to be taken into consideration. Now am I concerned about whether or not those radios can talk to other bigger boxes or vehicle-mounted radios? Well, that's a personal choice. Remember again, I would point out these are personal radios. Some will if they're CB radios. Obviously they could talk to CBs. If you have any of the base FM radios that are two-way, yes, they'll be talking to the base radios. Realistic and many others made base station A, you know, the five-channel FM radios for talking to the mobiles. They also made rack mounted that were designed, or not rack, forgive me, but under the dash or, you know, fixture mounted that go in the pickup truck to talk to people away from the vehicle. So you can distribute more of the handheld or headset type systems. There's a lot of headsets, most of the FM's that are out there have a headset system. They're really cool because they have V-O-X, which is, you know, again, speech activated, which is cool. The voice activated systems, some people like them, some don't. And it depends on how chatty people are. But if you use them properly, you'll be able to get the job done when the time comes. However, again, we don't want to use these radios as telephones. We may use them under certain conditions for specific signal communications. And I remember I pointed out a sub-grid or a subnet of radios for your medical support personnel is especially useful and is critical to operations, especially since the medic in the field may be trying to keep one of your people alive and needs to be able to talk to people that are out there in the boondocks. okay because he separated but you know again with minimal instruction people can be saved lives can be saved just remember that guys so a lot of work to do and i just want to recap that because of the issues that we have with uh... regard to uh... operations you know what i i'm fascinated uh... boy uh... let's do this We got down there with us. Go ahead and jump in there please. In a rear area, you know you can get these little dinky little barely bigger than like a silver dollar radios with an earbud and it's all you can't adjust it you push it goes up to the next available station goes up to the next you can't adjust it you just you just turn it on or off and you push up for the next station and you turn up your volume that's it. It's a one-way radio but that would be a good replacement a PA system you know hospital area, wouldn't it? In a rear area. It would be good even in the interim area save for the man right at the very front who you want to be able to talk both ways. If you have to do something really on the cheap, there's a way to get there even if it only seems to be halfway. The system is good. It can be done with a micro broadcaster and then you've got basic communication with all of your personnel. You know, X is happening, Y is happening, punch 7700. I'm told that's the international code on an airliner mark for a hijacking. I learned that yesterday morning on Good Morning America. Wow. Just to reinforce where that missing plane might be now that the program to use it as a ram attack aircraft failed or as a delivery system for a nuclear device, take your pick. Oops, did we say that? Yeah, ooh. Well, now by the way, A couple of other things here real quick. Remember guys, with these little radio sets, I would watch resale stores, watch for people throwing stuff out, grab the little FMAM radios that you see that are being tossed out now. They're fewer and far between. They're going to be harder to get hold of. And even the little ones, if you go to most of the dollar stores, Don, you might have to go to Big Lot to find one now because at most of the dollar stores, it's not everyone, but the ones that we have here, they don't have the radios for the time being. Now they do have some of the really cool stuff, including earbuds and things like that, so don't pass those up. We've talked a number of times about the changing of technology, and what we're taking advantage of here is the Wave into MP3, you guys. MP3 is the latest rage and you don't have to have that radio anymore. You can just listen to a gazillion songs on that thing slightly bigger than a quarter. A quarter? Yes. Of course something happens that's really frizzled with any kind of... Not that the other circuitry can't be damaged too, but ultra trash real quick with one crunch and you're done. Oh yes. But even those are useful. I mean we've talked about making noise to keep the bad guys busy. A little MP3 player with a whole bunch of noise on it guys to create confidence. And a micro FM transmitter on board, a drone, our little RC aircraft. You can give them all kinds of BS and all kinds of mayhem for minimal cost and you're not going to cry when you lose it. which is one of the things to remember one of the advantages these little micro uh... a m f m uh... radios that are available for collection one of our only a family but now i've noticed that that there don't have the a m circuit they just have the f m circuit uh... there bob like you said about the size of a quarter in diameter below bigger about the thickness of your palm only because they're again uh... this fairly simple flush-based circuit uh... they're a good thing to have in your preparedness or survival kit guys For what they weigh and what they are, you should have at least one of those in there. If nothing else, because what we're talking about, if your base of operations has a micro FM going and they're broadcasting out to let you know what's going on, it would be kind of nice to have something that's simple enough to tune in to that radio and be talked into or to be given with a code, because remember with code talking on the air in the clear, you can tell somebody where the rally point is. You wouldn't tell them, nobody publicly is going to know. the code that you use with regard to what you send out the way of a signal combination of music it can be something you say in a conversation as part of the dj job or somebody think you're just goofing on an fm minutes maybe even just you know some dumb recording that somebody forgot to shut off in all of the disaster political kyle kyle yeah it it tells that you are making state can read a whole storybook to you but mean absolutely nothing to your enemy So, just something to think about there. And in fact, your codes can also be set up so that the code that I give to Don can be very different in the same sentence with what I just gave to Mark. And give to Joe, and give to Ed, and give to Bill, and Bob, and Fred. See, there's a matter of being creative. But you have to think the process through. You create a script, and you use the script accordingly. Okay. Now I'll tell you what, real quick here, I want to try and find something I didn't, wasn't able to pick up. Oh, oh, by the way, we talked about, you didn't hear about the buffalo, you know, running out of, you know, Yellowstone, right? And you picture this wave of buffalo the size of, you know, the state of Nebraska. Yeah, they're going. Well, the problem is, yeah, they're just running down the road. I don't know. I think maybe they're counting on the idea people don't know much about these animals. Guys, have you ever been up in Montana? It'll be terrible though, Mark, when they displace the moose. Where did the moose go? Did anybody pay attention to the environment? I love how people are very creative when they report stuff. Oh, more on that in a moment. The thing about it is, there's maybe the herd, this herd is maybe, let me see if I can get a count here, right? Do it right now. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. Wait a minute, that's the 12 that passed. There's a total of 12, Don. There. And then another half mile. And here's two more bison coming at me, one and two, and they're trotting down the road. And it's a two lane road out in the middle of BFE. Does everybody understand that, number one? Now what gets me about this is if you haven't been out west, do you think that the animals give a squat about the roads? especially on a secondary road. This is a second, I mean it's a paved road, but it's a paved road out in the middle of BFE. I've been on these roads. I'm serious. I was looking at this here and if you ever go on the Eastern Pass, it's the, I've always talked about this, it's the most beautiful way to go into Yellowstone. Most people don't take it because of all the thousands of switchbacks, okay, well hundreds anyway. But you go back and forth and back and forth and they're the old switchbacks and there's car wrecks, it's really cool. There's car wrecks up above, don't be one of those. in between the switchbacks but if you're in the right place when the Rams decide to run guys they'll be just standing there by the side of the road and all of a sudden they get a burr up their arse and one of them jumps now you better be pay attention when you see a silhouette of one of those animals you better be ready to hit the brakes you better slow down because Don when they get a burr up their arse they literally just turn and run and they run their mountain goats so they're coming down the side of a slope that's about all seventy degrees and they're bouncing from rock to rock and if you're good happens to be one of the rocks they think they can use I hate to tell you They will okay, so the thing is you have to pay attention Now that when one starts to run these herds will be anywhere from as little as 20 deer to a deer Rams we're talking mountain goats mountain sheep, okay Mountain goats they will jump and they'll be one then all of a sudden ten then the other you know ten watching the first ten jump to and And then there's another 50 you didn't see, and there can be up to 120, 130 in this herd, and hey, you'll swear to God they're committing suicide. They will run in front of you right across the road and disappear over the edge of the abyss. If you stop the car and look down, although I wouldn't get out for a minute, because like I said, if some of them were coming, you didn't see the roof of your car, the hood of your car is as good a place as you. Your shoulder. Yeah, if you're outside and you're stupid, you'll be the next part of the trampoline. I don't know that I'd be, you know, probably they're smart enough to go around you, but it's the idea that this happens with big animals everywhere. Antelope on the, in Montana. in eastern and central Montana guys you ever been doing 90 miles an hour at night and have an antelope herd? Oh, herd! You know they're on a 100, 300, 200, 50 tour herd and if they decide to go down the road they go down the road and I'm thinking it's like there's this massive wave of a slight massive wave there's maybe 50 buffalo in this particular little herd and it's an off herd it's an offshoot I guarantee maybe maybe more but not much more I'm looking at more they're coming Down the road. They don't care about you. You know what? They found out real quick people stop People get out of the way buffalo don't care. Why? What do you do hit a herd of them? No So yeah, maybe a total of no more than 50 that I can count not even that There's so many ears, oh my god, it hurts, I'm off my... No it's not, it's a small herd of buffalo. Then there's still shots of everything else. It's what the Indians cut off of a herd, Meddle Hill for the wintertime. Did your camera break or something? Oh there's the tail end, Charlize. There's two little cows here coming up. Probably it looks like a cow and a yearling. A little more of the yearling. Still hanging with moms is what that looks like. No way. No way. No way. No way. They're in goofy mode. They get this burp. There are some there. They do their own thing. They don't read the traffic signs. There is a sign that's a mile or two earlier that you saw that showed some ram crossing the road, but he didn't cross where the sign was. You know what I mean? I hate There should be a fine for that. I hate disingenuous stuff where people in their especially I don't trust eco freaks I have learned a long time ago not to trust eco freaks. They are so disingenuous and they are so plastic and Typically will just flat out bare-faced lie to the point where the more you find out about the agenda the more you find out they just hate humanity they hate all of us anyway and anything they can do to baffle everybody would be as they will and Global cooling, global warming, global fill in the blank, take your pick or whatever BS they pull out of their arse. I'm sorry, I don't see this wave of buffalo. And again, hey, go hire a helicopter. Let's start doing a real survey. Watching the buffalo running down the road is BS. Especially 30 to 40 buffalo at the most. It's one of the small herds. It's a fingernail herd is what they call it. Because guys, there are big, big, big herds of buffalo. It's not like, you know, they're the last 160 and this is just one little, this is one of the three, the one third whole population that they're running from. They're like, oh, they're right. See, I picture they were on the expressway. They said, they're on the highway. And it's like, no, they're on a two step, it's a road book just like my road out in front of the house. It's a two lane paved road out in the middle of BFE. You know, I hate this stuff. I really do. I want to, if you want to reach you and just beat this snot out of people are just thinking of liars. or where the BSA pull out of the earth. It doesn't mean there isn't some exciting thing going on with Yellowstone. But then again, I was there in the 70s and we were having earthquakes all the while. I mean, if you haven't been to the geysers and all the other fun stuff, and you know, there's places where they're showing some aerial pictures. Look at this! Look what this is doing! And it's like the aerial pictures I have from when I was younger of the same place. Except there are probably, the sediment is a little different and piled up uniquely because it's changed over the years. It's like going to the mud pots. Did you see the mud pots were steaming? They always steam. And it was boiling water. It's always boiling. Ear point? No, no. Okay, whatever. So congratulations, we're all going to die. Get ready for the earthquake. Whatever it is. If you run into one of them steaming pots, you might, like that, you know, one of them they name, it's called Hot Dog. Yeah, there's a reason why well, you know, it's like the it's like the hot lakes guys You know if you animals go out onto that thin layer of mineral minerals that build up on the water and the chipmunks are you standing there the chipmunks will run all around but if a chipmunk slips or it miscalculates the thickness He goes in and he doesn't come up he goes boom and it's like wow And if you pay attention, they get sucked down because there's venturis going both ways. And the water is cycling down. And then if you look off to the side, you'll see where, oh, there's bones of a deer and little chipmunk bones and squirrel bones. And they all get boiled real nice. And they come back up and kind of get washed over off to the side in another spew where they come up from the depths. But you can stand on one dock. And I know I could see probably 40, 50 feet to the oblivion. And it's got outcroppings, minerals left and right, but there's enough sunlight and easily the water is just as clear as whatever chemicals are in it. and, you know, lime and whatever, but it's really, it's neat, but it's like deadly. And it's happening all the time. You know, the deer get clumsy or they get old or they're young or they miscalculate. The squirrels, the chipmunks, the possum, you know, whatever else is out there. And elk. There was elk bones, there's a dead elk cooked to a crisp and, you know, like, you know, nothing but bones laying there when we were there and that's one of hundreds. So... Well, if I remember rightly, the hot dog springs got its name. When a guy and his dog got out of the car a long time ago and the dog ran out there ran right into those big big hot hot puddle and started yelping and screaming and the guy ran in there to Rescue his dog. He didn't make it out either Yep, if I remember rightly well, I like I said hot sprains Yeah, but I could we could talk about that for I want to use that like a transition here I We went and looked at a piece of land a long time ago and we took the big bulldog, 110, 115 pounds out of the car and she went running across the land and there was a place, the Headland Creek mark, and it was just a puddle there and she went running out into the clear water and it was like angled deep to the dog. She turned around and came back. Next week we looked at another place and this place had a trout stream and the dog looked at the water It was just ripply like the other water and she ran out into it. When she came up from under the water, she snorted water out of her nose. That was the difference. She didn't know how deep that water was. She didn't have any reference. Just seen it one time and had this pleasant experience and then seen it another time and ran into water over her head. that's kind of just the goofy way to explain things, but you have to pay attention to your surroundings. The dog that ran into the springs and the guy that ran in after, that really happened. Now, let's talk about running around and water and stuff. It has been pointed out to me, Mark, that I need to study the pictures from Sandy Hook there. When you look at, as an example, the aerial and the children that are coming out of the are running out to their ends and whatnot. Look at the ground. Isn't it dry? And when you see the interviews from the state police, are they wearing their slickers and are they wet? A lot of times we ask you to keep looking around and sometimes some things are so obvious they just go zoom right over our heads. But I'm told to pay attention to these examples the next time I see them. So I thought I'd bring that to your attention and, you know, look for yourself, you guys. Now, I'm also told that if you call, I don't know if this is going to be erased the moment I mention it. But if you look into the aviation, the federal aviation records, no rain in Sandy Hook that day. But how come all the coppers are standing there in their wet slickers, Mark? I just thought I'd mention that one. It just makes me scratch my head. I'm going to have to take a look at that one even deeper. Right, there's a whole bunch of interesting, remember there are horizontal shots to give you a better feel for what the environmental conditions were. Take a look at the whole day's weather activity, take a look at the stills or the relief, the way they were done, how they, the whole thing, like I said, is in question. Number one. The big thing, like I said, I wish I could get my infantry to uniformly space themselves out the way the supposed family members and all the people circling around the fire department. I want everybody, everybody needs to watch that. Watch the activity of these people. It was play-acting across the board. It was, you couldn't, well you could. Better stage it perhaps, but this was all script, this is scripting. where a whole bunch of people were part of whatever it is that they chose to play act or work into there and it's all history now but it's well documented and recorded so if you look long enough you'll find all the database there at the poll I've shared the videos that in fact there are several other pieces of people sent I just automatically been sharing them into all the social media that you can and ask everybody else to spread them the exact same way keep repeating, repeating, repeating, repeating please That way they're out all across the country. That scam is the premise for all of the other BS that we have faced for the last 14 to 16 months and across the board. stinks to high heaven. I have no confidence in the system whatsoever. I do not believe the majority of anything that they say. And even if you're watching it, as we know, there are too many technologies out there that are reliable enough to fabricate or produce what they choose to. So, in fact, that's why they make things fuzzier and jerkier and, you know, etc., etc., etc., and make it more confusing. And that way you're distracted by the, you know, from the imperfections. Another thing here real quick, Don, and there was a couple of people actually, hold on here, one of the questions that was asked, I'll make sure I get this right because I got the letters right here, with regard to again the phosphor screen, is there going to be an emitter control or do you believe that there is going to be an intensity? I'm the first generation. That's something you get sometimes on second and third gen. But you won't see what that would be. Instead of automatic brightness control, it would be manual brightness control. That's what I think your interest is. So you'll be able to turn that on entry level? No, because first generation is entry level and that's an added value. You know what I mean? It just costs more and they probably won't put it in to keep it a basement price. And in the process with the technology, the other thing, again, since we're looking at particular intensity, we talked about this before, using a covering lens to change the color or also to reduce the brightness of the intensity is obviously going to take away from some of our collection capability. We're not going to have as near, it'll hand-print detail. The image won't be as bright because you're attenuating some of the light to your eye by changing the color, yeah. There we go. So again, hopefully, well actually I know our friends are listening that were asking a question. I just got that in the mail today. It's right there guys. So again, those two questions are answered. Number one is it'll be fixed intensity with regard to the brightness of the monitor as you're going to be observing if, again, we're eventually going to run out of the green screen, period, right guys? For first generation, second and third still going to be green screen. Yes. So there's no confusion there. So if you want to step up and move to second gen, that would be an option also. The other question, again, I've been trying to find, and I believe I have to call them still, I haven't mentioned this company who else, what a country.com, what a country. They sell a lot of Russian stuff, but also a lot of Israeli stuff. You might think, what a country. And they do. They get a bunch of odds and ends, but they may have the rubber boots, the extended rubber boots for like the sniper scopes and such. We are looking for another optics company, so anybody else out there listening that might have those add-ons. there were several companies bringing stuff in when the Chinese and when the Russians first opened up when the Chinese were out there and they had all remember all of their passive and Very fixed all one-piece scope systems remember that were coming in that would go on the SVD sniper rifle and such There about five or six different models and because of that there were about five or six different replacement I cups and Now, by the nature of the Russian system and how they like to keep everything pretty much the same size or about the same dimensions, we may be able to find something that will work with the monoculars so that we can kind of keep that illumination in and around the eye, you know, so it doesn't wash your face, in other words, it doesn't illuminate you as a target, especially if we have to work with the white screen, which we have to look forward to that issue now. Everybody needs to anticipate this. You can't see you're gonna get caught flat-footed. That's why I'm harping on it now. I don't wanna hear somebody say, Mark, you guys should have told us. You probably knew and you didn't even mention it. Yeah, no, like a hundred times. You know what I mean? Oh no, we didn't bring it up at all. We didn't tell you about it in advance. So first come, first serve. Whoever gets there to the, you know, the cart gets the best, you know, pick of the, you know, off the wagon. That's simple. The other thing is something we talked about before, adapting the first-gen stuff to use for weapons site operations. There are so many picatinny rail options. We have done this before, but taking a night vision device and interacting it with another optic system is possible. In fact, there are several different formulas that are set up for that where we see the industry doing that, right? Cause more. You'll see a device set behind a Trigicon, an ACOG daylight sight. But that sight will have to have a night vision setting on its reticle. Now, that can be done. You can attempt it. If I was going to do that, I'd state to real slight recoil guns, .22s and .223s in the initial stages, just to see, gee, how long is this piece going to live? Something that really wasn't designed to be a gun sight. It comes over to even how the tube is the machine work around how the tube is nested into the device. If they don't have to do the extra machine work just to make a viewer, they don't. Or if they don't have to do the machine work for the initial casting, they don't. So again, minimal recoil guns, it wouldn't hurt to play into that arena. You'll know what you've got. I don't think that if it were to fail from recoil, the manufacturer might take it apart and say, well, we won't warranty this one. You know what I mean? So in that instance, you guys, it's kind of like you buys your ticket and takes your chances. But there are some systems out there that we've known. If you bought an older MO2 from ATN, that system stand up on top of a 223, no problem. You'd have to have some type of aiming in front of or behind it. If you put it behind it, you have to deal with locking the light into the next device and then into your eye. If the aiming device is in front, the night vision device is simply looking through it, then all you have to do is worry about concealing the light from the night vision device to your eye. You can get pretty close to a 2-2-3 scope and just pull the trigger, pull the trigger, pull the trigger and come away without any visible marks or leaking. You could live with a pretty short boot on a .223. I talked about this application on a shotgun. My people say it will live on top of a shotgun. I kind of shake my head on that one. I wonder if they're just reaching and wondering if someone's going to find out for them. I don't know. Honestly, they say it will live on top of a 12 gauge. So, wow. At any rate, you're going to need a longer boot. going to need a bigger boat, going to need a longer boot if you want to deal in more form, not having green light on your face. It's kind of eerie if you've ever seen that. If you wonder how far that can be seen, if you've got a piece of night vision, this would be in your next exercises in the field. You've got the opt force and they're here and they're there. You're here and they're there. At a given time or at the beginning or the end before you close good range, you might have someone standing 50 and 100 yards away and they're looking almost in the opposite direction with the device lit and they just move the device away from their face a little bit and maybe even turn their face like a quarter turn. so that one might see how much light you can see with the naked eye. And that's the green light. Imagine if it were white. That's the, well, point here, the green is going away. By the end of the year it will be gone, and it might be gone sooner if it's just a numbers thing. And I still haven't got an answer on that. Is it a numbers, or is it a date line cutoff? If it's a date line cutoff, that tells me that the tubes will be diverted. They'll be moved to Europe, to China, or, you know, sold in the market in Russia for dirt cheap. You can get a lot of things in Moscow dirt cheap compared to what you can get them for here. At any rate, that will be a factor by the end of the year, the lack of first generation green screen. And we've talked about different ways to address it. But if you want to get it, might as well get them before they're gone. That's that Janus Joplin thing. But my number is 231796. I have some questions earlier today about some of the more specialized rounds. I had somebody actually ask me, hey, you were mentioning this on the air. Yeah. Are there one company that's cropped up here recently that's done some pretty good work at finding stuff south of the border, and that is UNAMO.com? Now, the guy is not part of the United Nations. He called it UNM because of where he buys everything. It literally comes from across the planet. One of the things that is definitely interesting there, several people in the last couple of days, pretty well, yeah, I've got a 10 millimeter pistol, not many people have any bulk 10 millimeter ammo around. And I had somebody, it was actually out of the blue, it's weird, asked me, Mark, you know where we can get any 10 millimeter ammo? I said, well, by the way. And so it's strange, however this works for whatever with the connection, I would point out that it seems to me we're on the right track here. So unammo.com, spot checked. They've been getting some really unique odds and in stuff. Some of it is one of a kind for only one or two guns. That sounds weird. But there's some of this cowboy ammunition down that was made for competition. It's modern ammo. It's fresh. It was just made a little while ago in the cowboy competition in the circles for the pre-1898 firearms. It's out there in force, but because of this, there's clutches of this stuff that are being built. It's being produced. So expect to see more of this from UNAMMO.com. They also obviously have 50 cal ammo in good selection, which I highly recommend. And I would also point out, pay attention to the specialty ammunition. One of the things you're going to see at Knob Creek here in the next two weeks two weekends out is flares one of the things they do is they after you want to see what these twenty six point five millimeter flares actually doing how they perform uh... they'd uh... frank buys cases of these uh... literally for the next shoot and they're in storage there so while you're seeing all the small arms fire going down range at night you got a couple of people whose job is to open up a can unscrew the lid you know i was do the the uh... and then pull one out at a time and you'll have flare after flare after flare. You'll see clusters, you'll see star shells, you'll see all colors and you'll give you a better feel for what it is we're talking about. Well these 26.5mm flares guys also are pretty handy for dumping into a tree line. Don't think about putting them up and over. How about putting them right into the enemy's camp? Now, one of the reasons if you don't have a lot of night vision, but you have some night vision, okay, for instance, just like RPG, Crap, okay, when it goes down range. Screeches like a cat, by the way. Most people don't realize that if it's a rocket, a real rocket. The other thing is, for instance, if you've got limited night vision, you call out Flair, and everybody that has night vision just to eliminate any burn on that, Cover it, knock it down, close the eyes, flare goes out, 1, 2, 3, up. When the flare is in place on the horizon and lands amongst the enemy, remember that flare is going to create shadows. Those shadows are going to fan out from the epicenter of the flare. What do you fire on, guys? You shoot to the base of the shadow, don't you? Yeah, it's an arrow. Think about it. You've seen this. What would you do? Aim for the arrow. Remember when the Beatles were first on Ed Sullivan? Yeah! Yeah, and the thing is guys that the the flairs a parachute flare of course I dump over them But it would drop amongst them. I wouldn't shoot it into the tree line I'd fired it just above on an angle into the tree line and let it drop amongst them If it's a star shell, I'd fire it directly into their midst. I'd fire it into the tree line. I wouldn't care if it bounces off something or whatever. The farther back it goes, the more successful the effort will be. Yes, exactly. So know the range of your equipment. Now, I would point out to everybody immediately when I say this, well, what about launchers? It's real simple. Now, there have been some 36.5 rifle type launchers that came out, remember, about two or three years ago. but they may be floating around at the gun shows now those are running about three hundred dollars apiece new but they were definitely worth picking up because those will you know those are being quite effective for dumping players down range or at least up and down range putting high use of her overhead illumination or for backdrop elimination but the flare guns are available through all that's right you and ammo dot com has got them a little more expensive there The first place to go is Apex Gun Parts and spot check their present price on the used guns. They're in excellent condition. We have seen hundreds of them guys. So you've been buying them left and right. Everybody's got them because again the flares are still out there. There are modern flares that have been made for them so you can get new, you can get older or newer. It's purely a matter of do you want the traditional cap and powder charge or do you want the rocket propelled? and they actually have rocket propelled 26.5. Now the rocket propelled have less felt recoil. Something to consider also. So a lot of your for your shoot. Go ahead Gullard jump in there. You know you guys have been talking, dogs have been talking a lot about the green screens leaving us and we're getting a white screen. I'm one of those dummies that don't even know. I come in and shoot her all at midnight. Why is... I mean, why are they changing over from green to white and what is the difference? It's cheaper for them. It's cheaper. That's the bottom line. And they'll still call it first generation. So they're kind of pulling our chain a bit, you know. The thing is that they're using left, what they're going to do is they're going to switch over to video camera technology, those little micro screens that were on your video camera. They're using those in the gray and white matte, black and white matte, for the monitor for the first generation. Yup. And they'll call it a white box for screen. What I can't understand about this though, you see, you've got to remember guys, just like Well, you can switch it to whatever color you want because 99% of whatever they have would have to be a color receptor miniscreen. You know what I mean? Oh, it's much like they're thermal. You can switch it between seven different colors at the flick of a switch. You're right about that, Mark. I don't understand other than what my attitude on it is is the industry is bowing to governments. because the green screen, green, blue or red, when you use that, the blue of course is something the military was experimenting with about 10 years ago and I've noticed that they really don't talk much about that now. They were discussing going from red light security to blue light and I know they've used it and green light obviously for night vision. Well the idea is that it doesn't hurt your night vision, your natural organic night vision. It doesn't burn off the element purple so when you pull the screen down You're not completely blinded to the night. Well, the green doesn't fit much into infrared or ultraviolet. Yeah. Or rather, ultraviolet and again, infrared. Any portions of those parts of the screen, of the scale rather. But the red would stand out hard and the blue screen would go up into the ultraviolet. So again, the green has tactical advantage you guys and that's why they settled on that. We're going to leave in just a moment but before we go I want to say that we've got a guy who comes on Saturdays and does an hour on Saturdays and he does a show on Saturdays and then he does an hour on Mondays for the veterans, Randy.
