Summary
Mark Koernke and guest Rodney Rogers discussed low-power FM micro-broadcasting as a grassroots communication tool. Rodney detailed affordable transmitter systems ranging from $20 consumer units to professional 15-50 watt setups, antenna options, and practical deployment strategies for reaching local audiences. The show emphasized micro-broadcasting as a means to bypass mainstream media monopolies and distribute alternative information. Mark also warned listeners about President Obama's visit to Connecticut on March 5, 2014, alongside multiple governors, characterizing it as a coordinated effort related to gun control rather than the stated minimum wage discussion.

His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me. He said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land is free. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrant flavored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. In this, the land is a free. Brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. It's the start of business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught. According to this, you read about the current use in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seasonally harm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oath they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors. So their children and their leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the withstand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to stay? Send the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great republic and each gun given right. And I awoke he vanished in the midst of whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now, as tyrants trampled each god-given right, the only watching tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside extreme while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Morning, Intel report. I don't know where Mark went to. He'll be back in a minute, I'm sure. And we hope that you're listening at www.themicroeffect.com on the KU-Banned satellite, Galaxy 19, Transponder 5, on AM and FM stations across the country, and on other networks. And there is no way I can repeat what Mark does every morning when he comes in at warhead. That's okay, word. You got that down, man. I'll leave it to you. And here this morning, I'm Mark Wernke. And I'm Jim McGill. the Jefferson Jefferson Jefferson Jefferson Jefferson Jefferson Congratulations what's new? Anyway, from the... Yeah, it was cold last year if you remember. Yeah, it'll be cold next year. It's kind of like Sam Tennyson said when he was talking about the desert. He goes, what the hell is wrong with you people? Where are they living? It's sand! What's it gonna be next year? Sand! Don't send them food, send them luggage! Move! If you don't like snow, move! Okay? Yeah. It's gonna be snow next year. I guarantee. 12 months. Change in geographic location. From today. 12 months from today, we are going to hear pissing and moaning about snow, just like we heard 24 months ago. Right. Okay? You see how that works? It's gonna be snow. And it'll be a record-breaking something. Yeah, record- it's worker like we've never seen it in one year ago. What? It was record like we've never seen one year ago. We had a year here a few years ago, man. It was green all through the winter. We hardly had any snow. Yeah, oh yeah. It was green. I thought, why, man? We run into those patches. Did I complain? No. Yeah, we get the warm, cold, warm, cold, where we get the snow, but it melts right down. You know, guys, we've had that. We get those cycles here every about 15 to 16 years. And again, we're in a long cycle on that too, because I believe it'll feel so like a thirty nine to forty years like what the check farmers on the neck if you go to the farmer farmers on the night guys they've got the short intermediate long cycles down pat they've been reduced we don't think it the farmer without you and i think the grass is watching anything can rewrite things down And next year he wrote things down. And other people got together and they wrote stuff down. And then they sat down at a table together and they compared notes and they wrote more stuff down. And then they used common sense and they said, wait a minute, let's do this. We're going to run a graph here. And the graph says we can go from here to here. And this is what happened. Look, there's a sine wave here with these different temperatures. And look, there seems to be a pattern every eight years, every four 13 years here and then every eight years again here and then 24 and then eight and then 13 There's a pattern. There's a pattern developing It's amazing. It's using real science The National Weather Service got caught flat-footed this year. It had no clue what was gonna happen The farmers almond act was a hundred percent on the page Imagine that Wow, and we got our guest here mark. No way not now. Wait a minute. This is who we think it is. It could be It might be. Could this be Rodney? It is Rodney. Good morning sir. Hi Mark and Joe, this is Rodney Rogers. I'll give you three guesses what the first letter of my middle name is. Let's leave that and let's talk about something near and dear to... I think no communication. Let's jump in there sir. What we're going to be talking about here this morning is low power broadcasting. Exactly. And Rodney's here to help us with that. And so, Rodney, I want to say, give us a little back now. How did you get started, man? What made you believe in broadcasting? Alright, well let me throw this right off. I want to dedicate my contribution to your show, The Point to My Mother. I'm 80 years old and she's a micro-broadcaster. Awesome! He's doing it for 20 bucks, and I'll get back to that later. But, uh... You know, I was in and out of the Patriot community. I joined the Second Amendment revolt against Bill Clinton. They were going to take all of our guns, play back then. I got all excited and then I dropped out and kind of went back into hibernation mode. Then I got back into it with Ron Paul. Finally, we can kill this dreaded IRS. Something really happened to you. I was a flash in the pan. through lots of money and time as Ron Paul and... So anyhow, in the midst of the era, I discovered internet alternative radio, such as your network, such as RBN, GCN, etc., etc. And a friend of mine had a little micro transmitter that he used on his farm. He picked it up years ago. It was a little job made in Italy. I don't think he can find it anymore. And I thought, I got jealous. Here he can ride around on a four-wheeler. Second on his cattle and he can listen to what he's broadcasting from the house. That's exactly what I did. And I got kind of jealous in this, you know, I finally got on the internet, but that was too expensive. I'm in the rural area. I don't have a high speed or nothing. So I was getting a, I had a $70 a month contract and with a, oh, I forget what the data limit, but I was kept exceeding my data limit and it was costing me a fortune. So I discovered Rick Sattling. I go, man, this is fantastic. I can get all internet alternative radio I could ever consume with the initial cost of a couple hundred bucks. Come on, much for free. And then I thought, how's the time to get myself a radio, because I don't want to sit in a house all day and listen to it. I got myself, and voila, so transmitted. That's exactly what I did. And I thought, well, this is great. Maybe everybody ought to do this. So I started shopping around. I started buying all kinds of transmitters anywhere from $20 up to $250. I got 12 or 15 different transmitters to test and I was thinking, well, before I try to promote this, I'm going to find out what these things do, how far they reach, what kind of antennas work best, and I narrowed it down for a you know, an entry level broadcast system was a little basically put out about 13 to 15 watts of some good cable and a military spec antenna was the best, what I thought the entry level system would be and it was under 500 bucks. Now I mentioned my mother's doing this for 20 bucks. Well at any five and dime store or dollar general you know, a dollar store, you can find a FM transmitter that's coupled to a wireless headphone that has a specific frequency that it broadcasts on to the headphone. The headphone also has an FM receiver capability. It doesn't have an LED, it's just got a couple of buttons, one that syncs up with the transmitter. The other one just scans the FM dial and just does a search and picks up one house. My mother's hearing is so poor, she can't hear without the hearing aids, and if she wants to hear the television, she's got to crank that thing up even with her hearing aids. Well I bought her this $20 transmitter. I hooked it up to the back of the TV, you know, that's where it's getting the audio feed, into this transmitter, and she puts her headphones on, and she can put the TV on mute and not blast anybody else's ears, you know? Or, you know, wake the neighbors up because the TV's up so low. But anyhow, that is, in fact, a micro broadcasting station. Now, yeah, it only reaches about 50 feet line of sight, you know, and the neighbors, you know, they're ready. She does it in a mobile home park, theoretically, her neighbors on either side could actually tune in and listen to Fox News because that's what she likes to watch on the cable deals. But that's it. That is a micro broadcasting system for 20 bucks. Anything that I talk about for the rest of this hour is nothing more than an improvement on that 20 dollar... On that, there you go. Yeah. Well, you know, I did something well everything you're saying you just repeated my story man I got tired, you know back in the 90s I was sitting in front of the computer trying to listen to you what everybody does all the information everybody's putting out So same thought man. Well, I can put this on a transmitter at least I can get out and move around but it got a little weird for me because what one you know, I was speeding it off of the computer and One day the Windows 98 kicked out I was in the shop working on a car or something, all of a sudden the phone rang and I picked up, hey what happened to that broadcast? I was listening to it. So I was reaching a little farther than I thought, you know, so. And then when I hung up the phone, the phone rang right in my hand and I picked it up again, I said hello. And there was another person, hey I was listening to that broadcast, get it back on. So it just grew from there and here we are. Yeah, I've heard stories like that. And Mark, I don't think we've ever spoken before, but I you know, somewhat familiar with your story and your broadcast style and correct me if I'm wrong, but once upon a time I heard you talk about the butter knife brigade. Of course now the butter knife brigade, there's two ways to look at it. It's a positive thing for us and we're going to fight for whatever we got, but I also point out to people that if you show up, I've got a big drawer of butter knives. Well here's, why do I do that? Well, if it's time to deploy the butter knife brigade, are we going to care if those butter knives are made in China? I'm making a difference. In fact, I'm going to shoot the first soldier on the ground with a Chinese rifle just for a poetic justice. And I'll let them know. I'm going to walk up while they're bleeding to death and show them their rifle and say, see this? American ingenuity. And by the way, now I've got yours due from your warm, dead hands. Well, I don't like the fact that China dominates this market. I care for Walmart as little as most people. You know, sometimes you got to do what you got to do. Use the tools at hand to defeat the enemy. That's right. But anyhow, yeah, I put together, I mean, I've been doing this for about three years, and I shopped around. I even got ahold of a manufacturer in China, and I was going to buy, well, I was getting a quote from 100 transmitters. These were only, well, they sell them at 20 watts, but they really only put out about 13 to 15. and maybe one watt on low and I was getting a close for a hundred of those and I was going to get them for 50 bucks a piece. The only thing you need after that is a cable and an antenna. And of course you got to get the antenna up in the air but that's fundamental. That's how cheap they are. Now I couldn't get, they wouldn't satisfy me by sending a sample radio that worked. They kept telling me damage. I told him, hey, this thing's damaged. It was beat up. It was kind of like they just reached into the waste bin and pulled one out and sent it to him. Well, it actually worked, but it was kind of beat up. And I said, well, send me another one. Wait, send me another one. And the LED screen was totally broken off with the motherboard. It was rattling inside of the package. I thought, well this is crazy. But I told them about that, they sent me another one. Well it came, damn it. So I kind of gave up on the idea, and I'm kind of glad I did, because I'd probably still be sitting on 99 of them. Because I haven't done real well at marketing these things, and I decide I'm not going to market them anymore. What I'm going to do, is if you want one, you can go get them the same way I did, a whole lot easier, and a whole lot cheaper. And here's a story, I have made the acquaintance of a missionary down in Mexico. He wanted to use a micro transmitter, even missionary purposes. I've got some extra, so I'm just going to send him, box up some of my goodies and some extra, and I'm going to ship them down here. Well, UPS wanted $150. The post office wanted $150 to get this down to Mexico. And the post office told me, we can't carry pig and pea delivery. Things go to Mexico they mysteriously disappear quite often. So I thought well shoot I'm not gonna spend 150 bucks to mail something that already cost you know but I had a box that you know they're about $150 worth of stuff. It was a you know a smaller quarter wave antenna. So I got on eBay in China one of these Chinese eBay stores. They had exactly what I was gonna send the missionary down in Mexico. 150 bucks free shipping. So I just bought it there, I got it there, guys, the address down in Mexico, about three weeks later he got it. I don't know if the fees down there, you know, have a hands-off policy for stuff coming from China, but hey, you know, I saved myself, you know, 150 bucks and I still got my equipment, well, I wasn't out anymore and I still got the equipment I was in. So I was just, you know, it's crazy and I was talking to the guy that delivers I'm going off the truck, it's mine. via email, Joe, and I sent one to Liberty Tree Radio thinking it might get to you, Mark. Yeah, he's got it. Okay. Well, yeah, I've got it here. Go right ahead. Well, let's, you know, I don't want to collect people's email after this, you know, but so if you or Joe want to forward that email to anybody that wants it, If they're brand new at this and they just want to shop around and see what's out there, then more power to you. I just want to be a facilitator for good. Try to make things happen. You guys are about the content. I'm just about the means. The means to an end. The end is to hear as many people as possible hear the truth. and what you guys do on a daily basis as part of it. Well, you know, what I'm talking about is just making the connection between somebody's FM radio in their car and Mark Carkey's microphone. And just repeat, repeat, duplicate, duplicate, duplicate, and see what happens. See what we can put together. Well you know, that's another thing that's different about the micro effect network, you know, is all the involvement we've had with low power stations in the past and will be in the future. The idea, you know like I was talking last hour, you know, it's going to take all of us. You know, everybody's got to get in the zone, man, to understand what needs to be done. And what you're battling against is cable television and satellite television. All the media resources are owned by what, six different conglomerates. And they're pumping out whatever they're told to pump out and they're not going to do anything else. So the only way we can defeat that is build something equivalent to it. And it takes the foot soldiers on the ground, people actually doing something and that's who we are. the foot soldiers, you know, getting the work done. So, yeah, speaking of foot soldiers, I've done this with Bill Deagle, you know, he helped me try to promote it, but I kind of got burnt out on it. But anyway, there's something I brought up with him. Back in the day when Paul Revere made his midnight ride, now some say that's a myth, but let's just consider it. It was true. Yeah, let's go. Let's say at the time the Calendas had a speed limit on your horse, you know, five miles an hour. Do you think Paul Revere was going to care whether or not his horse was doing 25? So, you know, there's times when you got to do what you got to do and, you know, take the risk of falling off your horse. But, you know, if you got to get there quick, by golly do it. You know, there's a little bit of risk. But, you know, if you know how to ride a horse and you know how to navigate through the woods, you're going to be fine. And, let's see how. I'm not sure where you want to go with this, but as far as the equipment that's available, the entry level system I was promoting was a Chinese import. It's got a high-low feature. If you're really timid, you can just put it down on one watt and get really cold in 15 watts. Some RGA cable. and a military spec antenna. Why do I call it military spec? Well, I can get these antennas wholesale. They're marketed as a comet radio. It's made in Japan and I called the guy up and said, no, they're manufacturers on the other side of the island. They're not radioactive. But anyhow, I was working out a deal to get those comet antennas wholesale and he said, oh, I said, well how many of these do you sell here? He says about 700 to 750. Just as this one Comet 5-8 Wave FM tunable. And what are we supposed to be using them for? Well, this is what he told me. He says, by the way, the military buys half of them. So I don't know where they use them. I guess in field operations they employ some micro FM broadcasting. Also for facilities all over the world. Remember, outside the US, as you know, micro-broadcasting with FM is unlimited. Inside the US, the only place where there's a real restriction, where they try to pee with anybody, is where they know they're worried and terrified of the American people finding out what's going on. The land of the fee and the home of the slave are the only places where there's restrictions. And those are the FM's for face communication. They use them for Wi-Fi. They use them for a number of different projects. And also just conventional signal communications with their FM pack units. or actually fixed stations where they're operating in an area. So that's where the hundreds of hundreds of year you got to figure attrition, you know portable, you know being broken down, sold out the back door because remember even as the government buys this stuff go to govelequidation.com they turn around and sell your stuff right, stuff right out the front door while they're busy telling you they need more you know I should say they're selling it out the back door while they're demanding more from the front door. So that's where you know, percentage you're going. Mostly they're going to operational facilities too numerous to mention all over the planet is what's happening. Yeah, well, another criteria for putting it together was I was really intrigued that you can run, they're 12 volts. Now they do have an AC DC power supply, but you can run them directly off your cigarette lighter. And I've done that on a whole lot. I'm a carpenter so I work away from home. So I can't listen to my own station if I get too far away. So I got one of these super duper smart phones. I can tune into the micro effect on my phone. I can throw an antenna up on the roof of my truck. And I got one of these smaller transmitters plugged into the cigarette lighter. And, you know, the other cigarette lighter keeps my phone charged up, you know, and I've got a mobile micro station. You know, and it always intrigues me, you know, whenever we see your stories of civil unrest, you know, what's going on in Ukraine, or, you know, what went on in Egypt or Libya. And I'm thinking, you know, surely these, you know, countries, you know, everybody's got access to an FM radio. So the first guy that throws up a You know, a microfation, you know, he grabs a 12 volt battery, throws it on his bicycle and a microphone and somehow he passes out flyers or takes graffiti on the wall that says tune in. You know, that guy commands the airways. You know, and I'm just, you know, I'm just curious why. First on the ground and first with eyes and he's getting the message out right away. A little creativity goes a long way. We're down here at the bottom here. I want you to hang on Rodney. Sir. Okay. I'll hang around. and Dom's going to hang around too. We really appreciate that, Dom. Alright, we're down here at the bottom of the hour. We're talking about micro broadcasting here. We're going to cover a lot of ground here in the next 30 minutes, friend. We got Rodney with Castle Broadcasting on the line with us and Mark and Don and we're talking about broadcasting. You know before I let them other guys talk, I just want to say you know a little bit of creativity goes a long way. Folks, I've talked with people and dealt with people. One guy at a motorhome. Every weekend he only worked all week and do whatever he had to do. he'd be collecting and recording programs that he thought was a really good program. You know, a lot of good information, this kind of thing. And he glowed it all up into the computer, and then he'd drive his motor home up above the town there, up on the hill, and parked his motor home up there, plugging in his computer, and broadcast all those shows that he collected all week. Pumping out that information. And while that was going on, he was down in town, handing out flyers at the same time, telling everybody, you know, tune into this frequency. creativity goes a long way. Standing on the side of the interstate or some intersection in town or something holding a sign, tune into 100 something FM and do the same thing. Have a little quick, listen to the microphone, whatever it is they're going to hear, you can do a guerrilla warfare. That's what it's all about. Yeah, real warfare is what the mouse do. I'm sure 9 out of 10 listeners of your book program this morning has probably seen an image of Ron Paul revolution spelled out with red dixie cups stuffed into a chain-link fence on a highway overpass. Well, with a far fewer dixie cups you can put out you know 93.1 or something like that and you know you get You know, for as long as they're up there, as long as you're broadcasting from a discrete local position, how many motorists your board of their morning or evening commute might find out what in the world am I going to find on that frequency. And so yeah, I think the days of guerrilla type operations are upon us. It's just people up that this is a possibility. You know, sure, one in a thousand. might become a micro broadcast. But hey, I'm here for that one version of a thousand. And if it's 10 out of 10,000, well, I'll do everything I can to help you make it happen. Well, we've gotten several emails and some phone calls here this week from different states people putting up a second one or the first one or just all kind of things. So folks, it's happening. But like anything else, we need more. More. Let me go quickly over that email I sent you. Yeah, okay. And I'll just go over it real quickly and make sure your audience understands that they can make a request. Let me put it this way here Rodney. For those of you out there listening, if you're vaguely or if you're interested, I have an email sitting over here on my computer. If you will email me at joe at tmeradio.com and tell me you'd like to have a copy of the resources that Rodney is going to be speaking of, I'll quickly email you over a copy of all the resources that he's shared with us. Go ahead Rodney. I'm not going to look at it, I'm just going to go from memory. I can talk faster with my eyes closed than I can reading off of a computer thing. As far as antennas, you can get a quarter wave antenna, you know, roughly 50 bucks, and it's suitable for half, 1 watt, 3 watt, 5 watt, 7 watt, 10 watt, you know, even 15 watts. But this equipment will perform much better. this comment antenna. It's $125 every day of the week and sometimes they're on sale for $105. You can find those. And they are tunable and they are specific FM broadcast antennas. And this is the military spec one I was talking about. They're $125. And they're good for up to 250 watts. And they work just fine with a 15 watt transmitter. Anything up to 250, I don't know what happens if you put 500 watts into it. I've never tried that. But, you know, that's great. That's the perfect antenna. You know, if you're thinking about beyond that, there's a really interesting, it's a directional FM antenna. Again, it's FM specific. And you don't have to tune it. It's self-tuning. That means you stick it up in the air, you never have to climb the pole, you never have to bring it down to tune it. Now the common has to be tuned. And I forget what the, this directional antenna, I think it's good up to 500 watts. But it's convenient and you never have to tune it. And if you look really close, You go, boy, this looks just like a TV antenna. Well, you're right. That's basically it. All it is is just the aerials, the radios, specifically manufactured and arranged for FM broadcast. And if you're the least bit savvy with a hacksaw and an old TV antenna, you can make your own. directional antenna, you know, it's good up to 500 watts. Right. No coil. The first antenna I ever used was a TV antenna. Yeah. Modified antenna. Yeah. And then you can bump up to a dominator, which is good for a 1000 watts. But it's kind of pricey and it's really hard to tune. And every time you want to change your frequency, you got to pull the thing down. and retune it. I had trouble tuning it. It worked fine. I was using a 1000 watt antenna with a 15 watt transmitter and it worked just fine. But every time I wanted to change my frequency, I'd have to bring it down. It's a little complicated, but it's out there. Now these low end transmitters are actually very user friendly. They're push button. Somebody told me I should put up a YouTube video how to actually put one of these things together and tune it and off you go. I've never done that, but it's as simple as riding a bicycle. I kind of feel silly like I'm trying to teach people how to ride a bicycle, because most everybody has, but most people have never done that. Well, it's really not much more difficult to set up broadcast equipment than it is to set up receiver equipment. You buy a few stereo from box door and you pull out of the box you got to read the directions and You put this wire here and that wire there and you plug it in and you're up and running well It's you know, these these things all transmitting systems are no more difficult than that in reality, but it's still a little And whether you want to just broadcast in the house or put a little more power on it put the internet inside outside Yeah, you know if all you want to do is broadcast within your house, your own yard while you mow in the grass, well you can get by with a half a watt. Well if you got a hundred acre farm, you probably want at least one watt or you might as well go ahead and get a five watt unit that's got a high-low feature, either one or five watts. A quarter wave antenna works fine for the farm and you can set it up at the house and the barn and you know, depending on what you're, you know, either you've got some pre-recorded files or you've got a satellite system or you've got a direct connection to the internet, you can just plug it in. You know, if these things take a universal headphone jack, you know, audio jacks. And I can tell you, my own testing with putting out 15 watts, I had personally been in my truck 14 miles away and was astounded and how clear it was. Now, I'm, you know, this is the extreme. You know, these systems will work, not at all, work really good. And the extremes are, well, if you don't, if you're not tuned in to the right frequency, you're not gonna hear it. Well, FM works with line of sight is optimal. And in that occasion where I picked up my signal 14 miles away, I had a direct line of sight. There was no hills. no cities, no major power lines, and that signal just went over there just as sweet as could be. Now, I can't guarantee that. And while I'm at it, I'm going to repeat this once again. I'm not going to sell anymore. I don't want people thinking they're the profit motive. I thought what I was doing was trying to recoup a fair investment on my part and help people. by they compensating me for the cost of my efforts doing it and the equipment. Well, I'm done with that. So I'm not doing this for a rough profit motive. That said, I can brag about a 15 watt transmitter reaching 14 miles because I've done it. Now it doesn't work in every direction. I could go five miles over top of a hill and down the other side and it starts to get kind of crackly at five miles. So there are limitations, but How many people can you cram into a 5 mile radius? Right. How many cars have an 8 plane interbuilt within a 5 mile radius? So the potential is there even if you're only reaching 5 miles. So that's a pretty common one. You can find those 15 watts. If you were covering 500 feet It's more than what was there before. I mean, anything is better than nothing. Five miles one direction, 15 the other way. It's a matter of getting it out there. Okay, just picture a major sports stadium that seats 80,000 people. With a 1W transmitter, if every one of those 80,000 people had an efferent radio on their hands, can you imagine the noise that you can make? And you're doing that with 1W. It doesn't matter how many radios you cram into any given you know, cubic, the frequencies there just waiting to be picked up. Right. I'm really excited about a 30 watt unit because it's extremely user friendly, it's still 12-gol power. It has a built-in FWR, which is a stands for standing wave ratio, that'll tell you whether or not your antenna is tuned or not. Well, the first time I plugged this thing in, an alarm went off, and I thought, oh no. I've just ruined my brand new radio. Well, if it was an alarm went off, it told me my antenna was out of tune and it would not power up. It protected itself. It's a wonder, I think it's a TX, it's really user friendly. It's kind of failed safe. The only problem I've got with that is the power supplies that come with these are the Achilles heel. I've tried a couple of transmitters because the the power supply freaked out and caused some damage. So what I'm suggesting people do if they're sticking with a 12-volt requirement, then hook them up directly to a battery, put a trickle charger on that battery that'll maintain the power level in the battery, and it's extremely stable. I think that would be the perfect way to power it up and of course as the power grows down you still got 12, 24, 48 hours of power depending on what kind of draw or what kind of transmitter you use. That's a 30 watt and you can actually just discover you can actually get a 50 watt transmitter that still has 12 volt capabilities. Let's talk about antennas for a minute here. Broadcasting by a mobile. What kind of a tune are they reusing? Well, there is available a magnetic mount rooftop antenna that's tunable. You know, you've got a telescopic rod and you have to extend or shorten depending on the frequency you're using. And, you know, if you're not worried about reaching out maximum, you probably don't even need to tune it. But, yeah. transmitter, help with a quarter wave antenna roof mount, up and down the road. What if you rolled into town, say you live in some little town somewhere and you have this thing running off the battery in your car or something, and there it is parked right on Main Street with one antenna that nobody's paying any attention to. Everybody's wondering where's that broadcast coming from? Let me repeat a story real quick. I know this guy. And if I mentioned the name, I think probably 3 out of 10 people would have referred to him, his name, on the alternative radio. But anyhow, he was involved in politics. There was some kind of bond issue that was a scam that was going to raise property taxes. So what they did is a guy got a permit to get on the side of the road downtown in a clown suit with a placard. He got his permit. Well, what do you think he had on that placard? Tune in to this. Tune in to this. And somebody set up a remote transmitter and was given the public the information they needed about this bogus bond issue that they weren't hearing from the local media. Well, he happened to be standing outside the bank. You know, he was downtown. You know, the bank's always occupied at least one corner of a downtown square. The bank employees started freaking out. Well, you know, they called the cops. The guy said, well, I've got a permit to be here. You know, this is free speech. They couldn't do anything. And people were driving by honking and thumbs up, you know, and they were successful. Strategy, man. It's called strategy. You know, some entrepreneurs in their engineering putting things together that make sense. And, you know, like I say, it's the equivalent of a grill of warfare. Yeah, and like you said, you can, you know, with a little research, you can manufacture your own antenna out of copper pipe. You don't have to buy a comet. I think you would be wise to do so, but you can manufacture your own antenna out of copper pipe or, you know, some scrap aluminum from an old TV antenna. I mean, this can be done on the cheap, you know, if you got a little ingenuity in there. you know, slightly good with your hands. You know how to do a little research and follow instructions. So anyhow, there's a level, there's a 25, 30 and a 50 watt that are still 12 volts. It was occasionally required, it requires 12 volts operating. So you're good to go as far as running them off a battery lane. To bump up any farther than that to 150, 300, 600... You're gonna need a wall socket. We're talking 48 volt power supply, which can still be run off of four batteries, or from conjunction, you know, if you wanted to do it that way, or you could probably buy a very good, stable, reliable 48 volt power supply. But the nice thing about these is they're very user friendly, they're one button operation menu, for all the controls, you know, there's like eight different features of the frequency choice, of course audio volume, you know, different things. And then there's available, if you're a little bit inclined, you can actually buy the guts of a 150, 300 or 600 watt transmitter. And all you, everything, every difficult part you can get as a kit. It's basically plugged, you plug this, Then wire into that component. And then you get the point. All you gotta do is attach the motherboard to heat tank. Get a power supply, add a couple of cooling fans, and put it in an enclosure. And then it can all be done? Yeah. Rodney, I want you to give us your contact information, whatever you want to give the people. We only got a couple minutes left here on the program. Tell them how they can get a hold of you. He can help you. But Rodney can help you figure it out. Well, do this. I've got some information on my website. It's Castle Broadcasting Systems. That's a quarter over to the left on the end of that. Castle Broadcasting Systems. You can read my about page. You can basically read what I've been talking about, how I got started. And there's a contact, a secure contact email address attached to that. And I think somewhere you can even find my phone number on my website if you look deep enough, my phone number's there. You don't want some help doing this. If you want a few resources, like I said, send me an email here at joe at tmeradio.com. I'll send you a copy of all the resources that Rodney has given me. Rodney, I want to tell you thanks for joining us here this morning, man. We're running out of time here, so we'll have to do this again sometime. Yeah, sure. I'd like to hear other people talk besides myself. Well, we wanted you to get that info out there. Okay. Actually, what we need to do is have you up again for a couple of hours, guys, but we need a lot of people out there to call in because everybody has questions about micro FM broadcasting. Guys, it's simple. It's a lot easier than you think. A lot of it, like you say, is plug and play out of the box nowadays. The micro FM wave of the 90s, we're the people that did all the work to get it all done and did it with low tech and with homemade tech. A lot of it's available and finished and out of the box and the market has opened up dramatically with regard to supply, which is the big thing. So you can very quickly put a system together and be rebroadcasting the micro effect for a very short period of time. You can do whatever broadcasting you want for that matter. The cool thing is that you can plug and play, fire and forget. In other words, walk away and let somebody else run it for you when you have to do other things. That's the neat thing about a micro station. You can make it happen and then everybody else in the Patriot Broadcasting Grid will help you to make it work. That's us. And again, the micro effect is 24-7, so you can plug into a Rick satellite dish. feed it into that micro FM and you are part of the network. The other thing is it's also a Russian dead hand. If something's happening in your area, you designate an emergency frequency, everybody tunes in. You can have a micro FM on standby. There's several here in the area. They're already locked and you know, cocked and locked and ready to rock and roll kids. If anything happens, everybody knows, tune into those three frequencies and the message gets out. Thank you, Rodney. Thank you, guys. Talk to us another time. Bye. Thank you, sir. And again, we've still got Don with us there, I hope. Yes, we do. Don, your number for night vision before we go any farther, you're going to be available in a few minutes here, sir. That number is 231-796-58. In light of what's been going on here recently, Connecticut, I'm going to remind everybody again, listen up very carefully, attention, attention, attention. Central Connecticut State University, 05 March 2014. Old bummer. is going to be there along with Governor Malloy of Connecticut, Governor Patrick of Massachusetts, Governor Chafee of Rhode Island, and Governor Schimlin of Vermont. Guys, this is no accident that the filter showing up here in Connecticut has nothing to do with the minimum wage nonsense. The excuse was to get Bummer into the state. Beware, pay attention. As we've talked about, the most common, most likely person at risk is Schimlin because of Vermont. He's from Vermont. He's a pro Patriot, Governor, the other three are all shields, are bought and paid for by prostitutes. So, gun grab and attack on gun ownership is going on in Connecticut. Ignore the Ukraine, ignore what's going on. with what's happening in Korea and remember that the idea is that the piss in America and Connecticut's face, that's why old plumber is there. Pay attention to the ADL sites along with the SOD operational sites. Remember, Canary Watch is an eye motion in Connecticut. This is not a coincidence by any stretch, guys. Ignore the BS overseas, the fickle smoke and mirrors. Focus on what's happening in the US. Most likely we'll try to pull something blamed firearms owners for it and you're all supposed to bolt roll over backwards and let them kick you in the crotch. Don, your number for night vision again, please. That number is 2317968458. Very good. God bless the Republic. Death to the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run, but we are on the march, folks. Day end by micro-broadcasting the solution. Joe, we're closing here, sir. Yes, we are. Folks, we want you to stay tuned for life, liberty, and all that jazz. And call Don if you can't see in the dark. We want you to call Don. He can help you with that. and see you tomorrow morning, same time, same station.
