There's an excellent little test piece where you know, you went, okay, real quick, you're at work and you look out the window and see a black MRAP and a squad of men out on the street. The speaker is spewing martial law directives, etc. blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. What do you do? Well, what is the first thing you do? Well, it depends on the situation as far as how you're organized. And I would point out that, as I said, if you shut off the sound and look at the videos of all these secret police operations, just ask yourself, who would you shoot first? How would your unit engage? That's what you need to be thinking about. You're getting a chance to see them puff up. But I'm going to tell you right now, everybody standing out in the middle of the street is dead. However, if I see one closer to a wall, a fence, he's dead first. So in this one picture, which is an overhead shot, a basic rule, if at all possible, a good chunk of your force should wait to fire until they have the back end of the vehicle exposed to their lanes of control. Now why is that? Well, I would point out that if you watch in all these videos and all these pictures and everything that was done, the rolling tin can, the trash can that will burn real well if you do it right, the rolling trash can, they always have the doors open so they can scuttle in and run into the armored box. So the idea behind this is that a percentage of your engaging unit The lion's share would be best. It should be set up so that as the vehicle passes or moves through the area of control that you've created, you are able to cover with heavy fire the back end of the vehicle. When all the rats try to head back towards the rat hole, they can desperately, they die trying to get to those doors. So they die because the kill zone is the entrance way back into the vehicle. Yep. Now the ones that are farthest away are at least likely to attempt to do that. They are more likely to take cover. And if you look at these pictures, they're all standing up. It's a classic American neighborhood. The one shot, there's a cyclone fence. That's a good barrier, but people will leap, fall, or drop over that to get past it. However, it's a good choke point in that there's one or two that are ahead of the vehicle or at least parallel with the driver's station and the rider's station on the sidewalk. Those would be shot first. The guy in the turret would be shot first. The fire control commander would of course direct a squad gun or somebody who has a rapid fire weapon that's drum fed to watch and to engage everything to the back of the vehicle. Now remember, these armored vehicles are also bullet buckets. When they don't come out, the door flops open for the opponent to fill in cans, when they bounce around. They can bleed right inside just fine for you. Yeah. Okay, and in this case the doors are wide open to the rear they're trying either to get in or something may try to get out, your heavy weapons fire, your volume fire should be directed to that bullet magnet, that bullet bucket. Just think of it as like a trash can only laid sideways. The garbage goes in and it's not coming out to worry about any of your friends or whatever on the other end. So driving that amount of firepower into a target like this, that whole squad should be dead within the first 15 to 20 seconds. and that's giving them more time than they deserve. The biggest thing is the driver would probably, and I'll be quite honest, they accept that maybe you can put enough bullets into the backhand, the driver might leave his crew behind with the gunner up on the roof bleeding to death, but he's not gonna probably stick around and wait to see if he wants to join what's left of the squad that's bleeding on the ground. See, that's the only problem with, you know, remember, it's like jet fighters, guys. They retreat at the same speed that they attack. You know, where'd my buddies go? Oh, they're over there. The vehicles, you know, well, they can charge into battle at such and such a speed. Yeah, and they can also leave the battlefield just as quick with the accelerator pedal stomped down the same way. And he flops back and forth like Ahab while the guy's trying to drive away with the vehicle and everybody's trotting to try and get away with you. He's waving at you? He's beckoning them. Come to me.
