Summary
Mark Koernke discussed weather patterns in Michigan, particularly lake-effect snow phenomena and the Great Lakes' water resources as strategic assets. He highlighted a Connecticut newspaper writer's call for gun registration enforcement and criticized anti-gun advocates. Koernke covered Missouri's Senate passage of a bill to nullify federal gun control measures, analyzed AR-15 rifle options and pricing through ARIES Armor, and provided extensive preparedness advice on cold-weather gear, surplus military equipment sources, and camouflage selection for different regions. A caller contributed discussion on appropriate camouflage patterns for southern operations.

His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. Invist the land of the free and home of the brave. You vie permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each god-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, is to still the land of the free? Remember your training and you will come back alive. People, shall we say, enemies, population enemy number one, the current courier and the editorial staff, everybody's going to want to know where they live, everybody's going to probably know who they all are. start making a list and checking it twice and if somebody else is out there and just happens to waddle in and do whatever they're going to do be prepared for it because as the enemy starts to flap their guns about attacking gun owners a lot of people aren't going to take too kind to that they'll just walk up and baseball bat them to death they won't give guns a bad name they'll do it quietly that's what's happened before too you know how many times we've covered that in the last 20 years where stuff like that's happened and all we just don't know how it took place Remember this last year, of course eventually the prosecutor and couple others got shot down in Texas. We know about that one. Again, totally out of the blue. Don't have any clue where it's coming from. And the only thing they're going to do, they tried to twist it right away. Just remind everybody, well, you pissed off millions of people. Why would you be surprised if somebody decides it's personal affront and decides to go off and get rid of you? Black uniform knuckle-draggers should not be surprised. People who are communists who are pushing the gun grab and the gun registration should not be surprised. So just something to think about there. Anyway, good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. This is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report I'm Mark Hernke. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west southwest, east, and north. Well, ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on... LibertyTreeRadio.4MG.com. We're on AM and FM micro stations, CB base stations, and Ultra Net Technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. We're on the hallmark network on the eastern seaboard from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico, headed Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska, whole bunch of Wyoming to include both the third, fifth pit and our friends in the recall state of Colorado. waiting on the left coast where we have the state of jefferson and then the bomb at the stench the The sticky thing you throw against the wall and it's kind of like a sluggy, blobby thing, you know, wooses down. The Feinsteinism and of course the diaper stain of brown dragging down the California Soviet Socialist democracy, the CSSD into Perdition and into Communist ignorance as expected. Turning back to the east, we sweep across the plains, leap over the burgeoning banks of the Mississippi land and the Smokies slash the Blue Ridge. Where the restaurant crews, grandma teams, OK teams, and the Ma Bell Grammar Consortium of retired telecommunications workers bring us the Golden Spike. Many hands make for light work a million Petticoat Junction operators. The ability to continue to function when everything else is offline. So it is a beautiful gray, dull, wet winter day out there. We've got rain or rain sleet, and it's going to be dangerous later if you're not careful. It is right now. We've got sleeties, snow on the ground. We've got ice here and there if it drops in temperature, which it did this morning. We were supposed to get rain. But we have a big front and we're in the middle of a fight here, guys, between the two fronts where we've got the Ontario and Erie direction coming with the snow off of Lake Erie. Lake Effect snow comes across the Ontario Peninsula from Erie or straight down the upstream upriver. Then we have the budding heads with a warm front that you guys have been telling us about in the Mississippi Valley and then across to Indiana. In fact, Larry had it Tuesday. It kind of sat there, but now it is working its way towards us as part of the quarry that we get with a winter season here. So that is not a surprise. We expect that. hurricane up in Michigan off the Great Lakes and it's affecting you guys bringing in bad wind storms and blizzard like conditions But we know it's funny as guys. They've never called it that we know what it is And I've told everybody about this for years now how many years have we talked about this on the air think about it? Several years because it looks like a hurricane they discovered this as part of the now you got to remember first of all Everybody hears the word hurricane and they're thinking well It looks like a hurricane on the satellite even guys, but what it is, we're in the middle of the five largest fresh bodies of water on the planet that constitute 76% of the fresh water of the planet. The potable water above ground. Think about that. The volume that we have here, this is a gemstone. I've told you this for years, we have to fight for it. We are going to have to kick the rumpus off the globalists. I don't care if they're underground in the salt mines or if they're going to come up out of their rat holes up there towards us, go to it. It doesn't make any difference. You're going to end up having to deal with the pigs because the suckers are going to try to hand everything over to the globalists. That's part of their agenda. It's what they're all cooperating with. And there's a bunch of other sites all across the state. We know where they all are. We know where the rat holes come out. But, the thing is that Michigan, what happens with the lakes, and I've explained this before, it goes up the Ontario Peninsula, it gets slapped over across Lake Superior, which then comes down and hits, it goes across the Keweenaw Peninsula, if you look at the upper thumb part of the upper horn of the Upper Peninsula, comes down either side of that, sweeps across the Upper Peninsula, goes down Wisconsin Way, along the lake, and then gets slapped by the plain state winds, down there at Chi-town slash Chicago, Shyster Town, that's what you should be called, Chi-town, because it's Shyster Town. Anyway, that slaps it back across the bottom of the state of Michigan along with the upper part of Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio, and then it starts all over again. And it looks just like if you watch a 24 to 48 hour cycle with these stop frame images, you can see this process. Now guys, this has gone on for as long as we've had the lakes here. But now that we have our It's like the thing about the lightning and thunder and stuff that we've had here. We get this during the last year. We had the exact same thing. We had a drier winter. We had a little drier winter. We started snow. We started everything we expected. But we had that classic 30, 40 year cycle wet all through this summer that we told you about. And we warned everybody that it was inevitable you're going to see snow. And oh wow, look outside. In fact, I don't think anybody would be complaining. You want to know why? Because just like And by the way, it's no different between what's going on in California. They have their drought cycle, and it gets bad. And we have a drought cycle here in Michigan, though it's nothing like what you would see out there, because we have bigger puddles of water. So when they go down, everybody does the limitation thing. But when they're at record highs or they're high, nobody talks about this at all. Isn't that amazing? Nobody discusses that. Instead, it's like I don't have any recollection of what's really going on, if you get my drift. So just something to think about there with regard to the mapped out scenario, the way it's played, and where things are going. I would remind everybody, by the way, I've got to benchmark the date, but I would remind everybody that this is the norm. The date today, by the way, is the sixth year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K2014 Old Earth calendar or Mayan crazy town calendar. Anyway, the weather, as we expected, we're actually getting the second thermal that we always get this time of year. What's going to make it bad is we didn't get as much of a melt on the sixth. We got some, but minimal. Then we had a whole bunch of snow come in again. Gee, what a surprise. We've had lots of rain that cycled the same way, which is why we had a record-growing season in Michigan. Now, look at all that wealth outside. Problem is, it's going to be flooding and it's going to be wet and it's going to be slippery. And everybody would, instead of being joyful about the fact that the Great Lakes are going to be at maximum levels, instead everybody's going to do the negative spin desperately on it because that's part of the whole scam with all the downer BS we have to deal with, with the shysters trying to manipulate your life. And it really, after a while, gets rid of it. It's like when will we finally accept that, you know, this is like, get out the farmer's almanac. You know, there's not a single day where they made a mistake so far. And there are three different farmer's almanacs out there, guys. Three different, in fact, I think there's more than that. There's probably around 12 or 14 different companies. But there's three that are dominant where you can typically go to the grocery store and you might find a farmer's almanac laying around. Now, some places they don't even want anybody to see those because that's part of getting everybody broken away from the land and dislocated from any common sense so that you can do the, oh my god, I don't know where it is! The hurricane over Michigan! Well, it looks like a hurricane. It always has. And now what they've done is they go, how can we spin this? First there was Arctic vortex. You know what you can call it, cold front. Then there's the cold front and warm front cycle that we have. By the way, you get the cloud cover where it breaks. It goes light, goes dark, goes light, goes dark. Which is exactly what we see in the morning when I talk to you on the air. About three hour processes, like, yep, there goes the next front. Like I said, it's heading over towards Ontario and that will go right up the Huron River. Forgive me, the Lake Huron. We have the Huron River and we have Lake Huron too, guys. Anyway, so pay attention. Thanks for the heads up there Ed. More dooooooom! We're the Metal of a Hurricane! Ed, we're gonna die! I'm still waiting to see a Sharknado. Have an seat with those yet. Sharknado! I love the way they say that too in the poster. It says Sharknado. Nuff said. Sharknado! Well actually we don't have much of anything that has really like major teeth like a piranha or a shark but I don't want to get bit by a pike and they do get aggressive sometimes. There's some other big game- Yeah I was just going to say pike dad. Our pike get pretty big up there in Michigan. Yeah I've speared a few of my life here especially gar pike guys they look really mean and nasty. They look more like something from the prehistoric era. This is what they look like. Yeah we have sharknado but we do have skunknado here. They don't have to have the wind whipping them around. All you have to do is just waddle into the garage and you've got skunknado all over the place here. Oh man. Actually, we're fortunate. I shouldn't say we haven't had skunks around in a while. We have possums and they live with the kids. They grow up with the cats so they don't even know the difference between the two. Anyway, again, let's remind everybody from the trenches worldreport.com, they've got a great link there. Henry's already posted it. We'll see. Newspaper writer in Connecticut calls for 100,000 residents who refuse to register the guns to be arrested. The actual link, and there is a name to attach to it, so don't be surprised if something happens to this guy because there's a lot of gun owners who are probably going to walk out with baseball bats and just cave this guy's knees in. That's Dan H-A-A-R. Undo thousands float registration law by Dan Harr. That's Dan H-A-A-R. And the paper is the current. So it's what is it? The Hartford current. That's C-O-U-R-A-N-T. So let me do it this way. uh... articles dot current dot com c o u r a n t dot com current dot com and then the article the bigger article that is the uh... that was done by damn hard that d a m h a a r February 10, 2012. By the way, you can do a search and get a picture of him. Also, background on who his gay lover is or how many thousand gay lovers he's had. He might be a close gay lover of Obama, Barry Satoro, and Ram Emanuel, and he probably is. So you'll get connections to that, rainbows and basically brown bows. They should change the rainbow thingy. That was to try and steal the rainbow bright thing. But in reality, it should be a spectrum of brown feces colors. Wouldn't that make more sense, a rainbow of brown? Yeah, a rainbow of brown, maybe a circle of, oh that's disgusting. Well yeah, but you can do a mirror thing so they can show their true colors every once in a while. Yep, yep, the glories of the poof to crowd of the bathhouse queers. Anyway, Dan Har, that's D-A-N space H-A-A-R. Untold Thousands Flout Gun Registration Law and read it because there's a whole bunch of comments back and forth and it's actually a what a two pager almost a two pager in fact through the scroll you have to go to from page one to page two Untold Thousands Flout blah blah blah you scroll down through it and then yes you go to page two I'd say it's almost as large for page two. That way you've got names, dates, places. For anybody who's, again, if they were thinking about doing whatever they're thinking about doing, they probably want to make sure that they got spellings right and things like that. Unlike the secret police going to the wrong house, typically people who decide to do the right thing, well, then make sure they get the right person. So who knows? But anyway, pay attention to that because the Hartford Courant Probably they'll be in the news again in another way when somebody decides to deal with a problem and we're gonna be prepared for that so we don't get shocked and amazed. We don't have to shed any alligator tears or somebody says, well did you hear about that? It's like yeah, who cares? He probably got what he deserved, not my problem. What's your point? Oh, it's terrible. No, it's just if we were killed he'd be laughing about it and writing an article about how you all deserve what you got and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So remember when people like that end up dead, explain. I don't feel any sorrow for his passing. I don't care about him at all. He's my enemy. Why should I care? I don't care what happens to Dan Harr, H-A-A-R. Nobody does. In fact, if he's gone tomorrow, The only thing we'll be crying is probably the register for the Queer Bathhouse locally in Hartford, Connecticut. And how that pass-around boy that had the butt cheeks that seemed to flap a lot, and the flatulence issue was terrible. He stank constantly and constantly had stains from leakage. Yeah, you know how it is. We understand completely what the Queer is all about. Anyway, so again, that was Dan Harr and it's untold thousands of law gun registration law. Anyway, on to other things. Now, by the way, write all that down to make sure you have it in your inventory of things, things to cover when the time comes. Also, again, from the trenches, worldreport.com, and again, the newspaper writer in Connecticut, there are links that will allow you to follow through if you don't want to go any other way, but our friends in the chat room can repost it. Another thing that I was going to bring up and that Henry posted was the CMMG. By the way, it's another picture of an AR-15. There's a picture that's part of the article I just mentioned, but then there's a really cool picture. Let's see right here. Of the CMMG introduces the Mark III, forgive me, Mark IV, 3GR rifle. This is in Fayette, Missouri. The Mark IV 3GR was developed specifically for the three-gun competition where quick handling for both short and long shots is a necessity. featuring a smooth Geisel automatic SSA two-stage trigger, a lightweight key-mood handguard, and an accurate 18-inch 416 stainless steel barrel. The Mark IV 3GR has the fit, feel, and function to make it an ideal rifle for the fast-paced action of three-gun competition. I always like to argue that if I hit him really far out with my first round here with my big heavy .308, Do I need to do all the other dancing around at closer range right away or can I hold off for a bit and kill another guy at say 500 yards and then not have to be close with my shotgun or handgun? Is that okay? No, no, no, this is a competition. Oh darn, okay. Well, I'll just go with the three gun thingy then. That's not a problem. Anyway, this is with an 18 inch barrel which I think is rather interesting. So let me point something out. If you look at that picture and see what you're dealing with there, I don't know what their price is. Oh, their price is $1,400. So if you see that basic rifle, now again, I would point out that with an Aries Armor aluminum AR-15 lower with a jig, it's going to cost you, well, let's put it this way, probably $150. It's $55 for a BLEM or $60 for a BLEM lower aluminum and I'd buy a BLEM. I don't care how pretty this on the outside is, it's totally irrelevant to me. I'll scratch it up myself when the time comes because when I get out in the field, I will. Sorry kids, you buy a brand new rifle, it's a combat tool, it's going to get scratches, dings, and it's going to get unpolished real quick. So be prepared for that. In fact, if you want to really save the finish, here's a little trick. Before the gun gets scuffed up, paint it. Everybody goes, what? A little hint there on the guns, have you seen how Hautari camouflaged their weapons? Consider that their original finish was not worn off, but by camouflaging the weapon with another paint, what happens is you cover up all of your original finish. So if there is a light scratch or ding on the outside, Chances are the paint is going to take the hit because it is a polymer type paint and with whatever additional polymer or chip or graphite built into the paint depending on how expensive and how much money you spend if you're going to go with one of these tough coat covers or whatever. But the cool thing is it will cover all those very expensive parts before the finish is damaged so you don't have to worry about filling holes or cracks or crevices. Now, the reason I bring that up is because, again, if you're going to be buying a large weapons platform like this price-wise, pretty didn't count even for that. More important is I want that original finish sealed up so I don't have to worry about any oxidation on my very expensive drag racer. Because you see, that's really what I look at this rifle like. Yeah, we put pretty colors and plastic on drag racing machines because it's part of the flair. But just as easily, if need be, flat black, ever seen like regular stock, you know, jacked up in the rear end, modified under the hood, drag racers that are, you know, that are built by the average guy, they don't have a real fancy finish on them, but they still run like a rape date down that dirt, that racetrack, don't they kids? You know, down that strip. And they're done. That's that quick. Well, point is that if I've got a speed racer rifle like this and I have everything covered up so that she doesn't have any problems with regard to any finish loss with the original finish, which keeps the material, the metal, and the other components from any oxidation issues. Also, that flat stainless barrel, which by the way I'm sure is not highly polished, Still, it kind of shows up, so you want a little bit of paint on that too to soften up and darken that particular area. You can use browns, tans. You know, OD green, whatever color combination works for the weapon to make it disappear and to blend in the environment that you're in. And make sure again you try to use colors that make sense. And also remember that big black thing kind of stands out anyway in most environments. Okay? So even though it costs $1,400, that would be, shall we say, made to disappear real quick to the background. The other thing about this though is that for $1400 excellent rifle, but an idea, and again something we talked about earlier, if you go to www.airiesarmor.com and you punch into their page, www.airiesarmor.com, on the little scroll block in there guys, you may recognize something you're offering and it's that harp. Now in fact let me make sure I get this ready and there we go. Now let's go back. There we go. The scroll's pretty fast. It's the HARP upper receiver complete. It's the ARIES Armor Complete AR upper receiver. Now take a look at that design and take a look at the rifle that Henry posted on the page there. You'll notice that you can buy the complete upper for about $497.56 and they've come down on it. It was about $1,151 for the complete upper. Now instead you're looking at about $500 for that thing. Now there's your complete upper with bolt carrier, forward assist, charging handle, everything's ready to go there. You still need a sighting system, but you do for the other rifle we're looking at. You can build a lower and put the internals in it for another $150. That includes a decent buttstock on that, guys. So you're looking at, instead of spending $1,400 on a beautiful weapon that I'm sure is precisely tuned, you've got your own weapon which is tuned to the best of your abilities to perfect your skills. has the same basic design that upper has I think a nickel boron bolt carriers what they're using for that the heavy m16 type bolt and this combination with an air 15 aluminum lower or a polymer lower again because somebody say well Mark it's a tech driver a competition rifle that's what they're building there which they are. Then I'd go with a BLEM 80% finished lower receiver grab the jigs Put it together, grab your internals, whatever you want to do with that. And you can still build the rifle for a lot less money because of this offering through ARIES right now. And that's the ARIES Armor Complete AR Upper Receiver Group. It will slap onto any other group you've got too, by the way. So if that's all you want to do is put together a precision weapon, your trigger group being the next issue as far as money spent. Then you can put together a pretty nice little package there. So again, take a look at it, see if it kind of matches with what was being discussed on the Trenches World Report. You'll see that there are some similarities. It's not the exact same system. In fact, I'm thinking that it may be an 18 inch barrel, it may not. I haven't had a chance to call Aries to find out. They didn't quote on the page. which I think is rather strange. I don't know why. So again, they got everything else on the page. Did everybody notice this? And maybe somebody will see the length of the barrel, but I don't see it quoted. Aries upper receiver, Aries black nitride barrel, Aries handguard, the harp, Aries effen, mark two, Aries full auto nickel, boron, bolt carrier group, and that's a chunk of change by itself, by the way. Aries extended latch charging handle, etc. and the total is $497.56. So if you want to build a tack driver from the ground up, there's a solution right there. And it's a little less money, but it's the same basic idea. So a personal choice there, and it's a matter of what, float your boat and fit your wallet. And everybody's going to be a little different there. Also, in a good note, things are happening. This is where the country is divided and things are going to eventually kick off into a war. Missouri Senate votes to nullify federal gun control 23-10. The Missouri bill which seeks to nullify virtually every federal gun control measure on the books, whether past, present, or future, past the Senate Thursday SB 613, would ban the state from enforcing virtually all federal gun control measures and includes criminal charges for federal agents attempting to violate the right to keep and bear arms in Missouri. Now, we'll see how this works because Missouri is a ring knocker territory. How this came about or what the actual background is in the state, we need more of an update. Now there's a very extensive article here, so this actually will probably answer a lot of your questions. But again, the actors involved here and the state of Missouri itself having some very unique background. It has the same problem that Colorado has. It has a lot of California moves into its central areas, but it has a lot of people that have been there for a long time that do have common sense, and that's where the battle is right now. So we'll see how this develops over the next couple of months, if not over the next maybe no more than a month. Again, remember this is February and a lot of stuff is coming up in March and April. Not an accident. I will remind everybody also that in conventional from a strategic overview with regard to warfare, a military campaign typically if it can be started in the spring so you have as much fighting time as possible on the ground. If we are looking at the traitors in Washington, the betrayers, most of them are not traitors because they are not Americans. They are haters of America. They hate your country. They are not from your country. They have no interest in your country except to destroy it. Those creatures, along with people who truly are betraying our people and betraying this country, the traitors, are combining and looking at, again, how they can follow the orders of the people who have their tentacles up their arse and that's where they're running into a problem because the gun grab is so critical so this is why we have this uh... character again the acting about getting the guns this uh... dan har h a a r along with other people he just he's not a he's not anybody who's important he's just a meat puppet be following his marching orders But again, they are zealots and they believe that they can kick in the doors and they're looking at all the spiffy black uniforms They seem to think that those spiffy black police state uniforms don't bleed Well, eventually as they're killed and die off people are going to be looking for people like this Dan Harr and other people that are you know behind the scenes or on the edge of behind the scenes we're following the orders of who's behind the scenes and Then they're going to be doing the understand why aren't they following us? That is the norm rather than the exception. This does not have the nice neat map out run by the lodge division of the country like the Civil War had. The North American War of Northern aggression created by the lodge north and south. When it did look like it was going to go patchwork, they just simply told everybody they were going to ignore them, the ring knockers and powers that be. That's what happened with Wisconsin. Wisconsin was seceded because of the national policies against the Constitution, against the constitutional elements of, with regard to states' rights. Well, they were ignored. They were ignored because the Masonic Lodge in the north was told how they were going to set the scam up. The Lodge in the south was told how they were going to set the scam up and the rest is history. We're having a little different variation here because what they're going to be using are the internationalists and the brain dead from the public fool system who are going to end up being people that are going to be in your crosshairs. Eventually the characters that have been developed through the public fool system to become the wankin' file, red shirts, you know, red and yellow shirts, well, they're just gonna be up there when the time comes in opposition, you just gotta be prepared for it. There's people that are writing all these articles about, oh, there's the Fifth Column and so on, it's no different from the war, the American Revolution guys slash our war for independence. I think everybody needs to reread and pay attention to what was going on. Why do you think that at the end of the American war for independence, we deported the Tories? They had 90 days to leave this country, this alliance of states. Does everybody remember that? Well, during the war they were busy trying to kill you too. It wasn't just the British regular army. So why would you think it would be any different now? And where did these people come up with these really weird ideas that it was going to be different? Which really fascinates me to no end. It's just a little reminder there guys, it's the way things are going to work out. So just be prepared. It's going to be a dog fight. The idea is to be the tougher dog. And to remember that, well, we're on the high ground. We know why we're fighting the other side. Mercenaries working for their occultic masters, the apron wearers and the yarmulke wearers, they have their agenda and we have ours. We'll find out. Anyway, I think I heard a couple of things. Do we have callers? Probably just to be safe until I have people hanging in the wing. And a one and a two and we'll keep right on going. Anyway, a couple other things here. Let's remember too, We have let's see this weekend although it's going to be going to be fun because it's going to be wet so here we are spring well not spring but headed towards spring general mud and general ice overlapping with general snow. Cold weather, cold wet weather is the gear that is going to have to be with you. If you got Gore-Tex fine, whatever rain or wet weather gear you got now's the time to inspect it to make sure it's all in one piece and it's all where it needs to be guys. Okay. Just something to think about there. Anyway, for everybody else, let's remember that if you're going to be out in the field or if you're going to be jumping in a vehicle now, it would behoove you to take and make sure that you do have all your ponchos in the car. Because like what we're seeing tonight, this wet, cold weather, this is just like the fall, when we start headed towards spring, moisture kills. I mean kills kills. Dead kills. Dead. Remember, what do you have in your radiator to cool your engine down? Water. Oh, and you put some antifreeze in there so it doesn't lock up during this season. But basically, again, remember it pulls calories. It's one of the most efficient ways to cool things down on the planet. Problem is, coming down from above and hitting you over and over and over again and saturating your clothing and pulling your body temperature down doesn't take very long to hit hypothermia. So a couple things to remember spare mittens spare gloves You're gonna get wet. I do this every time I go outside when I'm not on the air I'm run outside. I'm doing work out there I get a pair of gloves or several pairs of gloves that are constantly drying near the fireplace Change them out. Don't just say you got to suffer with it. Come on guys Go to the dollar store and we buy a whole bunch of those brown gloves of nothing else But remember prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance It doesn't have to be state of the art. I had a laugh with the comment made by Diddlefritz about our cheap uniforms and stuff. Well, we're buying cheap as in surplus, but that doesn't mean it was built cheap. Some of the best equipment on the planet you can buy right now is surplus Swedish gear or Swiss gear. It was made top dollar, it was made in their country, it was made for their people, by their people, and it wasn't made in Peruvian or Central American sweatshops or made by illegals in the United States running sweatshop operations in Chicago or wherever. If we're lucky, maybe it was made in America if you find something that's sold in America but very seldom. Otherwise, it's being run by slaves in other places. Go ahead, caller. Who do we have? Two sets of them. The parka and the pants. $20 for two sets. It was a great deal. I think they're probably a little more expensive now. But they're still, the notes are still great. They're still well made. But speaking of stuff you should be prepared for, This past weekend, we had an FX and we had a hump or something crikey with a pack. We had an eight-miler, which isn't that big of a deal, but it was kind of the first of the year for us. And about five miles out, my feet, we took a little bit of a break because we practically had to move into an operation. Then we did our thing and then we lost. I should have changed my socks and I knew better because my feet were sweaty from the hump to the AO that we were working in. We had a little bit of action and a break and we humped back. As a result, I've been not changing my socks because of the wetness. I ended up getting some blisters. I managed to complete it. Not a problem. I could keep walking, but it's just rather unpleasant. It didn't have to deal with all the blisters had I changed my socks. done what I needed to do. So do all those. Gloves are great, but I can't stress enough that especially if you're not hiking every single day and your feet aren't ready, maybe you do it once a month. To have extra socks, have extra gear and make sure that you don't get moisture on your feet because that's when you're going to have problems. Exactly, one of the things there too is rain boots, rubber boots guys, there's a couple different sources. Coleman's.com has the green military rubber boots out there, cheap, they're $3 a pair, it's in their sales section. That's Coleman's.com, Coleman's.com, Coleman's.com. The other one is, they only have a couple sizes, actually I think they only have one size, they're German zip rubber boots in their deals section and that's keep shooting dot com keep shooting dot com keep shooting dot com and they have the uh... rubber boots there but the as far as the alpine flash uh... center fire system still has a pretty good by and i think and i don't know is you know again sportsman's guide has them in the sales section so the cool thing there is that you actually uh... can pick them up for a pretty good price and a couple or four or five One of the things I would say, I'm not sure about Cinefra...wait a minute, it was Maine military. I don't know if Frank is still selling them for the price he was because I know he's readjusted the page, the web page. Frank was actually selling his for less than what you can buy them for wholesale now and I would point that out but he may have corrected that because he probably went through his existing inventory and There's a couple of companies if you see them for about five dollars or low limit now what am I talking about? Coleman's calm. Thank you very much for bringing something eater Coleman's calm guys has the alpine fly's Alpen fly's ponchos for probably the best price, I think about $3 or $4 in the country right now. And guys, what they're selling them for, they can't replace them for wholesale. The best price I've seen wholesale on those is between $6 and $8. And it varies depending on what batch comes in. So right now, Coleman's is selling them for about half of what they'd have to pay wholesale were they to replace the inventory. So that's Coleman's dot com Coleman's dot com Coleman's dot com and go to their close outs in their sales section They have some really good buys now some other stuff They're sold out of and they haven't been taking it off the page But they do have a couple of different items there including some Gore-Tex items that are all Real tree etc if they have them in stock. They're definitely worthwhile too, but I like the Gore-Tex stuff to me, but the Swiss I like all the Swiss gear, but you know, if Gore-Tex is the choice eight, the stake, if you can get it. And if your unit can afford it, I highly recommend. I'm not a big fan of a lot of that quote unquote high-tech stuff that's out there, but you can get all this Gore-Tex stuff, especially the Parkas. The pants are great if you get those, but the parkas will keep your upper body warm. I find if you wear the pants in the parka, especially at night, it's very noisy. You can get away with just wearing the parka and that will keep you in pretty good spirits. and they have the Austrian and they have the German and a couple other patterns that are out there right now that are available in used condition and decent shape. Prices are still upy but you can find used without spending top dollar if you look around. In fact, I haven't really brought this up on here. One of the companies that I'm dealing with, I've dealt with for a while, that's actually on the West Coast, has got some excellent prices but they've also got big clothing. And I've sent out a few emails, I mean big, you can go up to 3X on this stuff without any problem. In fact, several of the items they're offering are in 2 and 3X only and they're like so dirt cheap. Buy them and put a cinch strap on them and wear them as over gear guys. Seriously, you're talking half or a quarter of the price you'd normally see and it's military gear. It's not after market stuff, it's existing military gear. So this company has good connections and for whatever reason has been smart enough they've been buying up the big stuff. Normally it'd be gone quick. But it's a perfect situation. We're in the doldrums for sales after Christmas, except that even Christmas was a doldrum for sales. So a lot of the stuff is sitting there and this is the best time right now to pick up a lot of this stuff. That's why I've been bringing it up on the air going to certain points. Watch their sales sections and watch their close outs. A lot of the rubber boots we're talking about that I've brought up on the air, guys, these are brand new, never issued. They're still in the box. So you're going to be the first person putting them on. Congratulations. You can't get any better than that for the quality of the equipment you're buying. And it sure as hell isn't Taiwanese or Chinese made. Now there's stuff that I've mentioned the last day or two. KeepShooting.com has a woodland camo sweatsuit set. that is twenty dollars but it's in extra large or extra extra large again it's in big sizes now what i figure it is i didn't call them that was going to do that i'm figuring it's a rothko product because rothko has close outs also there a wholesaler they do retail and they do wholesale mostly they do ninety percent of their business is wholesale and they will close out and stuff a line and when they do the very tiny stuff and the really super big stuff is usually what's left over and they can get some really great prices if you're willing to buy in quantity. The other thing is for a lot of your people that are bigger, I've got guys here that are almost 6 foot, well not almost, they're 6 foot 8, 6 foot 9, 6 foot 10, they wear a size 16 or 17 boot Well, normally they'd have to go with a big and tall men's, but if I'm lucky and I keep an eye out, this way they get a better quality product and again, it fits them. So don't think your guys have to go without. But here's another little trick. If you're a large or extra large, what they used to do with combat clothing guys is combat issue camouflage was a specialty item and you would issue it to the theater of operation. It would be an over garment. It would go over your whole field jacket and all your basic clothing and then you put your combat harness over that. So one of the tricks if this is the desert weight gear is to take the big, big sizes and put a cinch strap in there, a drawstring in the waist if it doesn't already have one and use them like a salt smock. Remember the British SAS Assault Smock? Everybody just wanted to have one of those. They didn't make matching pants. The Airborne Assault Smock was just the Assault Smock. And it was worn over the OD Green uniform. So that's how we used to think camouflage. It was a theater environment situation. So you could be looking at the same way by taking advantage of these less expensive items that are out there through these different sources, if it's in the big, big sizes. If not, at least take advantage of the quality of the product. Because my objective is, again, I'm not worried about fashion chic. As far as having the latest camel, if I wait I'll have the latest camel for less when the time comes. It's like look what's happening with surplus in the ACU uniforms guys. You can get so much of the ACU junkets coming out your ears left and right now. Go to goblequidation.com. Take a look at what's happening. It was the latest and the greatest. In fact there's even MarPat and even Air Force Tiger. The Air Force Tiger, the new pattern, the blue-gray range. All that's available now. If you're patient, you can collect it and you'll get it in force. So be patient. We're seeing, what is it, the eight-color desert as they call it in the Euro's. We call it multicam. That's coming out. Now it's still pricey, but it's coming out, so it will eventually be patient. It will be there. It's good if you needed it and you wanted it and you got it. That's a personal choice. But again, especially if you've got a large formation, large group, take advantage of the sales and start pulling the stuff that way. Three-colored desert, very common, easy to match up, and 100% everything matching. Woodland camo, like I said, between the US, the CCE French, and the Italian woodland coming out. By the way, also, Serbian woodland. Somebody had a real deal on Serbian, in fact they're already gone. I had a chance that I just couldn't move fast enough guys and I was trying to get everybody in on it through the chat room. They had Serbian woodland camo blouses brand new. Sizes large, extra large, extra extra large, and extra extra large for $3.75 a piece. And guess what? Everybody scarfed, as soon as some of these jobbers scarfed them up and cleaned the place out immediately. I mean, it took a week or two, but still that's immediate for wholesale, but all of them are gone. I can't give, they're already out the door. But that was a hell of a buy, and it was in a standard pattern that everybody has a lot of. The other good thing is, was in big sizes. So for a lot of our big guys out there, it was one of those solutions. Watch for stuff like that. But jump on it wherever you can because we need to make sure we have spares, not just one set of uniforms. You're going to need clothes to change out in. OD green, I don't care what it is. A lot of Austrian OD green stuff is showing up right now. In fact, the Austrian Army, for their reserve or their support uniforms, have phased out and put onto the international market the OD Green uniforms, including their web gear. Right now, the best buy, although the Allis pack is really great, guys. The Austrian equivalent to the Allis pack with a massive Fanny pack with a pistol belt and with suspenders is about $20. They are equivalent to the Alice Pack. It is right in between the medium and the large. It is bigger than our medium, but a little smaller than our large, but not by much. So there is a bunch of stuff out there. Go ahead, color. Jump in there. I was wondering, is there any sort of a general guide to camo colors and patterns here in the South, even this winter, until mostly green? Right. Go ahead. Well, I was just saying, I know that varies across the country, of course. Yeah, in fact, well, if you look, the Germans were the ones who really pushed color, you know, frontier color patterns based upon area of operation, which nobody else did, but they worked on that extensively and almost all of their uniform issue was two-tone. They actually had reversible uniforms. One would be for the summer month, one would be the fall or the winter. So, they had oak patterns, they had the Italian waterfront, and they had the Italian waterfront, and they had ambush patterns of all kinds. They are collectible by themselves. A lot of people, we have seen that there are companies that actually reproduce them. Well, for instance, where you are, if you are in the south, Flecktarn works pretty well as far as I'm concerned. Flecktarn bubble camouflage. If you need brown out, then there's a couple of different ways to go. If you're farther to the west and you're getting into savannah tans, like the browns in the fields and such from grass, when you get up to like Nebraska or you get it towards from the plains into the Rockies, a lot of the desert pattern stuff works really well there. Even the ACU, depending upon if you've got exposed stone and rock, I'm not excited about the ACU. It's supposed to work everywhere and it doesn't work in most anywhere except down on the border of the United States, maybe overseas and up in the mountains where they've got dry and dusty and gray. But otherwise it's a shoot me uniform in most places here. The ACU, the present ACU, it's worthless. In fact, it's a target uniform. If I needed it to infiltrate, I would wear it, but otherwise it's not one of those things I'm really excited about. If I were to collect ACU uniforms and gear up here, I'd be shooting it down towards Arizona. But woodland camo, the digital woodlands, those greens probably would work in your area nicely. The only thing is I would break it up with some browns. Now, I'm not putting down another thing any of the real tree patterns and all the commercial patterns because if you've got a source for those or if you've got somebody who keeps getting rid of stuff and you can get it cheap, fantastic. The only thing I don't like and I know it's intentional, they intentionally have mucked up those uniforms by putting the logos in there with the lettering. You know what I mean? Because the only reason they did that is because those camouflages are so fantastic that you can't see them. You can't see the people, but the thing is if you look with a scope, there aren't many plants out there that spell out real tree. You know what I mean? They're ignorant about that. Yeah, you know what I mean? And that's what they did that intentionally. Because otherwise, what I would do if I had those uniforms, I would get myself some permanent marker and I would kind of sculpt out and make all those words disappear by making them look like part of my pattern in the uniform. Because you can get brown and green and other types of Sharpies. and I get the real wide laundry marker sharpies and I'd make those letters disappear. I wouldn't just X them out and put a big black mark on them. No, you want to sculpt them so it looks like part of the tree pattern. You know what I mean? Yeah, easy enough. Yeah, the oak patterns. That was what was really cool. There was a company out of Chicago. The guy had his own sweatshop. He had his own Mexican slaves. And he did American patterns that were off-brands of everything that everybody was making. He made a copy of Tree Bark. He made his own version of Real Tree. And these camouflages worked exceptionally well. He also made American Alice gear in those patterns. Now, the interesting thing is that because it was his own pattern, he didn't put any names or letters in anything. He didn't put any logos in anything. That was something that I think PO'd the system because unlike the others, like I said, you've got big half inch letters that say real tree. Well, if I'm looking through the area, it's amazing how subconsciously we'll register stuff like that. So, the first thing you do is if you get like any of those items and it's got like the stitch in, one of our friends was talking about a hat that we just got. We just had a bunch of, one of our friends did a whole bunch of unorganized militia baseball caps. We're going to bring it up on the air here just as a heads up pretty soon. Well, there's something he wanted to change and he's going to take the, you know, a D-threader and take a certain part of the stitching off, okay? If I had some Cabela stuff or anything like that, that's the first thing I'd be taking off is the Cabela's in orange or gold or whatever. Typically it's in gold or in earth brown because that's something people would notice. The logos bring people's eyes. They were built for a reason so they get track of your brain's attention, right? So the last thing I want is a duck logo on my outfit or a Cabela's logo on my outfit. But any of the commercial camouflages would work. And I highly recommend grab them if you get them for cheap or free, or almost. So I have to resell shops for that too. Anyway, Puffy, I tell you what, we're at the top. You want to close with me?
