Summary
Mark Koernke discussed ammunition pricing and availability, including .308 Winchester, 9mm, and .22 ammunition from bulk ammo suppliers, emphasizing the importance of stockpiling as prices have risen significantly. He covered preparedness topics including survival tools (knives, hatchets, crossbows), reloading techniques, and tactical considerations for various weapons systems. A caller raised concerns about polymer AR-15 lower receivers marked as automatic, which Koernke addressed by explaining the legal distinction between semi-auto and select-fire configurations and suggesting buffing to eliminate any markings. The show included weather commentary for Michigan and promotional segments for ammunition vendors and other products.

of the 79 programs. The so-called bipartisan welfare reform of 1996 abolished only one of the 79 programs. And Barack Obama gutted the heart of that reform by illegally eliminating the work requirement. If raising the minimum wage raises the worker above the government-prescribed poverty level, raising the minimum wage could turn out to be a benefit for taxpayers. This has been the Phyllis Schlafly Report from Eagle Forum. Chances are you or someone you care about is unemployed or underemployed. At eagleforum.org, in a blog conversation with Phyllis Schlafly, we're weighing the causes and solutions of this national crisis. One thing is certain, more government spending is not the answer. Join the blog at eagleforum.org. Thanks for listening and join us next time for the Phyllis Schlafly Report. The figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, speaking low to me, he said. We fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the legacy. The freedoms we secured for you, we hope you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. Envist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current use in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You take it and you trade it in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize family farms and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit their children. Your leaders send artillery. and guns to foreign shores, and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear, be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republican each God's given right. Pray to God as I awoke he vanished in the midst of whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God's given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer? he called out from the grave. along with Alaska. So up there at the Aleutian Nectar, actually about the same temperature here in Michigan this morning, as Fur Peninsula, a-whoo! Where the wolves are constantly chasing you as you run from to the wood pile and back again before the wolves catch swimming in their nose, knowing that you have another arm full of wood and will not peer to the east part of the country. have the hallmark network from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. Good morning to freezing Cleveland! This is the Golden Spike. And by the way, for whatever reason this time it goes over Michigan, it looks like a tornado, hurricane, the hurricane arms. On the far end of Lake Erie is a complaint here in Michigan. For whatever reason, between the moisture and the way it whips across the lake, along with sucking coal from up there, goodness if you think it's bad here we'll leave one for a few days you'll appreciate wherever the hell you came from full sunshine a year but it was cold at night because it was just as clear last night all my goodness I took a couple pieces of optics outside and you could see for ever last night that was with a moon but we had a real bright moon lots of solar activity and which is why you have a bright moon guys you know what I mean it's not right who doesn't generate its own light and it will sunshine each all It is the sixth year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K2000 and, or Mayan, crazy town, you're through the chopper now! What's good as that gonna do? They've got guns on board too. You threw your weapons down and you run to the chopper and they've got guns on board. Wouldn't it be going after you again? Hey, wait a minute, maybe you could just walk out of there. Put yourself in one direction, just civilization. But that's just, as it is, in the first part of the hour uh... would point out again thank you to our friends in the chatroom bulk ammo dot com for another solution molt dot com bulk ammo dot com molt ammo dot com b-u-l-k-m-m-o dot com they have battle packs like the portuguese battle packs guys in the brit these are two hundred rounds of two of uh... three oh eight three oh eight winchester ammo by preview partizan that means serbian In battle packs, 145 grain, full metal jacket, boat tail. That's a Sierra Boat Tail Bullet. It's $140 for 200 rounds in a battle pack. And again, that is ammo.com. The cool thing about these battle packs, remember it's a PVC type of plastic, you know, soft plastic. You grab, it's got its own handle. You can run with it like an ammo can. Cool thing is, goes into other ammo can transporters if you want to. There's several different cans up here with this stuff that's perfectly. Take the time, check it out, see if that will fit your needs. Preview part is on. Boxer prime, heat anneal case, brass. It's also re-en- If I were going to shoot anything, I'd be shooting the brass. I'm reloading it now. And I have to bust open any more boxes of fresh ammo. And I'd be saving my steel case for combat operations where I'm going to be burning it on the enemy and I'm not probably going to recover most of it. There's some logic there. Again, steel case, no big deal. Seven I mentioned in the last hour, the Yugo 308. just something to think about there by the way uh... i did mention thirty-eight for sale now uh... except for you know very expensive older in steel case through u and amo dot com u and amo dot com some on the shelf so stuff coming in they've come up with some neat names but uh... the dummy bear ammo all but it is tasty never gets to the con never work anyway again bulk amo dot com bulk ammo dot com And then the item number, let's see if I can see an item number for this. Wait a minute, I don't see an item number for this. Well, I guess you're just going to have to find when you go to the page, there is no special number. It's just to go to bulkamble.com, find the 200 rounds of 308 Winchester ammo by Preeti Partizan in battle pack, 145 grain F, M, E, T. That's how they list it. Now whether or not they have any rimfire ammo in stock or any .22 ammo in stock, well in theory they do, but it's always the Eli. Everything is now super long range, hyper accuracy ammunition. We don't make anything that's just standard .22 anymore. Everybody's box tells you that it's super high grade competition. Now you told me it was Eli, I'd say sure. Everything else out there is crazy prices to say the fifty rounds of twenty two long rifle by federal forty two green cpr and or has to be special uh... ten dollars and ninety five cents forty ralph i'm gonna say this again and i'm gonna remind you of the gray beard so the patriot the survivalist movement the gray beards fred red red by god everybody should be honoring that man's name because everything that he talked about he was one hundred percent you have any of fred rex's book on the shelf all them out and read them again fred rexer but all of his write-ups especially on the idea of the concept of what would happen with the twenty two ammunition and why it would just like gold in the bank back when we were buying it for twenty seven cents a box remember when the chinese stuff came in it was all fresh for twenty seven cents a box not some of the stuff like black powder ammunition i would be surprised with what part of one step away from war upper-end black powder but for twenty seven seven thirty seven thousand seventy five cents a box for twenty two that's a hell of a far cry from ten dollars and ninety five cents in the year two thousand and yeah fourteen think about that now it doesn't mean that you can't shop around and find better you should be able to find everyone's while some of the such a popping in there But the thing is, we've been pampered and the idea is that, remember, 22 ammo guys, once you've shot it, it's gone and everybody knows they're going to need more. Now, I do pity the bad guys on the other side, because somebody's just going to pepper someone's hind end with a whole magazine from a Ruger 10-22. And while you would say, well, I'm not going to worry about getting shot with a 10-22, really? When they blow it, when they start at your kneecap and they start peppering all the black uniformed thugs, people are not going to shoot into the body armor. People are gonna start low and they're gonna bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop b and run right up along the ball around like the rib cage or you know all that's what they did the effect ronald reagan you know the history of that range all you thought of the little things here we hit something hard tracks along the channel of that surface can hit my leg and go up or down the leg laterally you have to think about the bad guys not thinking about yet peppered with somebody has got a and shot or it was a difficult and feel the tube magazine or one of the old remingtons with a tube mag tube magazines And I mentioned earlier here we got this .22 short. Guys, that .22 short ammo worked flawlessly in those older guns. Don't poo-poo any of the tubular fed mags. Remember that you can be carrying up to .22, .23, .27 rounds of short. And when you pull the trigger on that semi-auto gun, .22, .23, .24, .27 rounds going wah wah wah wah wah, one right after the other. And that was an adult-sized rifle. So you're getting all the energy out of that bullet. That wasn't a child's gun. Those were adult-sized .22s. Okay, in fact, even the Ruger 1022 is basically a carbine by comparison to the adult 22s we used to make in this country in force. And there are millions of those out. Remember that we have millions and millions of firearms. In certain categories, adult 22s make up a big chunk of them. When I say adult, I'm not talking the Ruger 1022. That's become dominant because it is a good design that Ruger came up with. But these long tubes Tubular feed 22 adult rifles that are semi-auto or bolt gun doesn't make any difference. They've got a big magazine capacity and the ammunition can easily be loaded up so that again that 22 short is nothing to sneeze at. It does exactly what the bigger, the long rifle round does, but with less case. It's kind of like the little short shell 12 gauge gun rounds that have been coming out of the industry for personal defense in the house. I don't need it to spread. I don't need it to hold together. I'm not planning on doing, you know, a hundred yards or 50 yards with it. I'm planning on keeping it right in front of me inside a room. So having a whole big stack of, you know, shorty 12 gauge rounds, one after another, if your gun can handle it, as we pointed out a couple of years ago, you've got twice the firepower, but you're, and you're putting just as much lead every time you pull the trigger down range or steal BB. See, I like BB. That's another good one when you're reloading. Oh, BB is mean. because again aim for the knees, aim for the worry, you're gonna be panicking and riding up, but those first rounds hit low, there is a motion, and work up into the rest of the target area. We got body armor, it's gonna stop some of it, but those pellets have a tendency to follow the path of least resistance. They go along the surface of the armor, move and roll into the flap of the overlap, and well, they find soft, chewy stuff underneath. So there's all kinds of neat things to think about when it comes to shotgun 22s, nothing to sneeze at. But again, Rexer, god bless you fred rexer you were absolutely right a hundred percent across the board about every subject you wrote about and all of these characters again as is pointed out the threat would be the betrayal from within there we are and what's going on nothing that washington's doing is going to catch anybody by surprise unless you just decide to shut your brain off and go stupid and people like that you want to stay away from anyway because they're basically boat anchors going to drag you down the idiots that are trying to play in denial now Remember that they're just that and for whatever reason they either don't have the brains God gave geese or don't have the ability to use their brain to evaluate the Situatorily treat them for what they are dumb as a box of rocks and literally dead weight that will drag you down Okay, do what you can to try and bring them up to speed But don't waste a whole lot of your lifetime. You got enough to keep you busy as it is now Another thing here and again for everybody out there the the same place bulk ammo calm they do have sale So by comparison, I know when you go through this you're going to go, well that's not a... Well, it is by today's standards, okay? Let's just keep in mind that there's stuff that they'll bring the price down on a little bit, or they want to clear the shelf off of what they have left because they've only got two Z's or three Z's or a couple hundred of this or 12 of that in terms of boxes or cases of something. You're going to possibly find a little better price or at least shaven off pennies, which means you can spend that money on something else. Probably the best example is they've got some boxes of Remington gun club target loads 250 rounds of 12 gauge ammo by Remington one ounce of number eight that's pepper shot kids for $64 okay, so they've shaved off $10 right off the bat now You need to find out what the shipping is going to be but as we pointed out Two things you can do use that number eight for price disentraining specially close in training why waste your buckshot use the pepper shop for that you will accomplish the same mission uh... again again when you're trying to put people on the range i would also learn to load shot shells for the exact same reason once you fired these remington cases or the savage or the whatever the name of the companies are so many goofy names have come out of the one out of the woodwork who knows who they all are what you do uh... get hold of them remember that uh... are for you to uh... train is using the elective all the cases reedle bb mark personally rather than buying book shot guys go go go over to the black powder side of the gunshot gun store or the gun shop or combine those multi cavity on ball molds that are deep by comparison to the others crank out a whole bunch of round ball and you don't care if you're ever just the overall weight that you're worried about using a standard couple using a cardboard what because i don't want to keep them all together for the close in defense load you want to spray remember you don't cut the barrel down the shotgun you'll learn to load your weapon so you were to load your around so i'm going to do a flat cardboard a lot will you wonder first spreading right out of the mouth of that shotgun too so when you reload the shells and you reload it with caliber uh... rumble uh... you've got a nice load there you could also do it here's another mean one specially for close in defense don't have to be round guys you know cylinders are really cool you know what like the if you've got something you can cast letter you can't let uh... if you want to use well most other stick and you snip lead the size of a pencil eraser and you load up a shovel, a whole bunch of projectiles that are the size of pencil erasers but they've been cut with a snipper so you've got all these weird cut angles. Well, at close range in house to house operations you touch off one of those, what do you think that does to somebody? Oh, and I didn't have to do that much fancy work so I'm trying to get production up. Yeah, you can also fill in with other shot or other trinket things and making claymore. all kinds of mean stuff you do the shotgun so once again every weapon everything you got the toolbox will be made to work now another thing here real quick and this is in the bulk ammo dot com on sale uh... sectioners mall kind of other stuff in their meeting beyond amo they do have some p m c three hundred round battle pack of nine millimeter amo by p m c hundred fifteen grain for $117. Now these are 10 battle packs, so I assume that it was pushing towards the market for the Middle East, obviously. And 300 round battle pack of 9mm ammo, PMC. PMC is Korean. Korea, years ago, was bringing all the stuff in that you're all familiar with. from pretty partisan long-term will not hold pmc all pmc with the grace child pmc could do no wrong and the koreans were being bought paid for by the globalist like we do turkey we bought the prostitute uh... the country of turkey how do you buy the horse in turkey will you let them bring their stuff in your country and they get the solar stuff here that otherwise you know jumpy were allowed to sell before and you would let him bring it all when you're trying to buy mercenaries and buy prostitute countries, especially with the, you know, red light district, you know, Middle East, then what they did is they let all these Turkish guns in. Well, back in the day, PMC, because Korea, PMC was coming in strong and they reloaded everything, guys, or I should say loaded everything. They made 6.5 Carcano, 6.5 Swede, 7.5 French, and you will find brass out there by PMC or loaded ammunition, even from back, you know, well pmc is kind of wandered back into the u.s. and in some strength uh... they're not fitting the niche that they were before with regard to the unique calipers but they do have many of the standard military calipers that they built for the korean army and because of this this nine millimeter lugar which is again a hundred fifteen grade fmj it's nothing to write all about its standard ball nato slash pick rim ammo what it is brass case now the pistol ammunition appears to be about the same thickness in case. They're rifle rounds, they're rifle round based. This is something we've already researched years ago. Just a heads up on that. So remember, don't do any dirty hairy super hyper loading. You don't need more important that your round is consistent with everything else that you're using. A ball round is preferred. Because again, when you pull the trigger, everybody's gun will feed a ball round. It was designed for those. 45 ball, 40 caliber ball, .308, .223. I don't care what it is. it will cycle first time every time. A lot of these exotic loads with certain guns are persnickety. In fact, every gun is persnickety to one load or another. Every gun out there has something it doesn't want to feed. At least not as reliably as ball ammunition. So let's keep in mind that you might be handing this gun out to somebody who's never, for the most part, fired consistently anything on a regular. The last thing you want to do is tell them yes. I've got this super 140 grain cart mouth hyper velocity wires like a dragon when you pull the trigger It's gonna be scary. We don't want to hyper anybody up just a reverse. I'd rather they hit something so standard ball standard load and teach them to hit or at least expect the gun to work every time they pull the trigger, you know point damage that calm go to their on-sale section this PMC 9 millimeter ammunition That's a decent price 300 round 300 rounds in a battle pack in the fifty round boxes remember little battle pack as a punch out for you put carry like a little ammo can uh... hundred seventeen dollars and again that is bold ammo dot com not the only thing that they've got to know all bunch of stuff there you guys get worthwhile you know we're picking up all they also have six hundred rounds of five or five five six by forty five amo by federal fifty five grain full metal jacket uh... boat tail for two hundred seventy five dollars if i bought a lot of PMS $450 and again you're gonna have to shop around compare you got a better price don't worry about what I'm talking about here you found a better solution and run till she falls anyway we are at the bottom of the hour just about second hour for the Intel report it is still sunshiny out there we haven't got a cloud anywhere in any direction for the moment that could change in the next half hour or 20 minutes you never know but for the time being it's bright and shiny out there captain And it is a cool morning, but it's, you know, we're gonna get a little sunshine so we can get a little heat. Problem is, it'd be nice if the cloud cover did roll in at the end of the day and keep it in there for us last night. But it was also beautiful, and you could see forever the clarity, especially here in the Great Lakes, was fantastic, especially for anybody who had any optics where they could study the stars last night, or maybe whatever it might be flying by, you never know. Anyway, it is... The bottom of the hour, grab that cup of coffee, smell, taste. Oh yes, restaurant blend. It is a beautiful morning. You have warm steaming bean juice in your hand. You have no pants on. You are trying to leave and go out the door. Shame on you, stop, turn around, go back into the house. Okay, they're five pack for 39.99 are Barnett Barnett I'm not sure whether make him though used to be British made They're still made in England the quality if you're looking for both Remember, some bolts are better than others. You might want to just do a little research to find out what you can about them before you buy them. But if you're looking for a particular class of bolt, especially, again, these are carbon armor penetration. I do not know if these are replaceable. I do replaceable tips. Head in, pound pro. They staple most of these armor right into their body armor. Have fun to do that. There's no way to get it off. Bring bolt cutters with you kids. you suck in the body armor like that you're not going to be placed to go through the front armor easily go through the uh... chest cavity and then stipple into the back and if you're lucky burrow in with that broadhead into the back panel of the armor and uh... that's where they stay it's not nice at all so sometimes andy and by the way with no body armor cross-evidentity to sell where a lot of energy there especially with the higher end uh... crossbows and with a lot of the arbalest and static crossbows a lot of people have built from and such then you're not going to probably be harpooned with one of these crossbow bolts. You're going to be seeing steel bars through softy targets like us. But then you can also put an arbalest together that will be up to 600 pounds. It does require a bolt to crank, to lock and cock. But once you release it, nothing in front of it, that'll harpoon a car. See, before back in the 70s, crossbow made from a truck spring, side one, side out, around a little bit quiet, plus a lot bigger, slash the brace. anymore. Fire or something like that, it's lit in one hand and the other guy next to you, if you want to be mean, what you do is you spoon somebody or shish kebab somebody through a door or whatever that allows for the target to bleed out, gives a channel. Remember the flutes through the length of the shaft. You don't want to make a look like a muffler, an internal muffler transfer. There's a direction for the flow of fluids and the fluids leak out through the fluted channels and Yeah, you don't have to worry about fighting over what the black uniform moose knuckle-tragging resupply pod is carrying because you're gonna be weird not crying You're just gonna be pulling it out of his warm dead hands. You're gonna shoot her supplies for, you know, smaller tech supplies. Natchez, parents, you just never know what you're gonna run into there, guys. Available. Okay? www.natchez Okay, and again, let's see that one that touch on. Actually, there's a piece that's posted, I believe it's from the trenchesworldreport.com but there are a number of sheeple.com. Long term survival, these are the five tools you must have. Now basically if you've been listening to our program, people of like mine think of the same way, and I don't care if somebody else has picked this up that's cool. The again, Swiss Army knife, creation on the multi-purpose knife that you can carry anywhere. A next, well forgive me, a Gerber tool, a Leatherman tool of whatever kind, recommending one of the what they call the cruncher or the mini vice grip that's cool because it does give you an extension on how you can bite or when you gotta move something especially when you're trying to break something free also a neck knife or hanger knife now there's a number of different solutions there I just like lots of knives I'm gonna tell you right now I have knives stuck on everything I guess that's the one of the basic rules you learn if you're fighting with Hispanic troops or you know we're gonna be fighting Spanish or Mexican troops expect to find knives everywhere blades are a good thing and any blade you can get into service quickly i'll be night bomb that's what's our midnight for if it's a your combat fighting knife on your hip any play you get into service your potential so knives are a good thing your personal choice of them also a point striker knife combo which is actually a campers slash uh... all these calls dinner knives there's any number of names for it went yep i agree with that And last but not least, one of my favorites, although again, in this case it's an axe, but a hatchet, topper, again, there's two tools that are really neat. One is not as common. Drywall hammers, first of all, the east wing drywall hammer. We need to keep east wing in business anyway, if they're American-made still. And the east wing drywall hammers, they're typically not on the shelf with all these punk stores that can't afford inventory anymore, that supported NaphteGap and now can't afford to have inventory on the shelf. Wow, what a surprise. Anyway, the people that are stuck, many of them did not support Daffy Gaffy, they just can't afford an inventory either, so you have to order them typically or watch for them at yard sales or watch for them at resale shops. But the drywall, the east wing one-piece drywall hammer is a great mayhem tool. It's got a warhammer mallet head on one side, tomahawk angle blade on the other, and it will chop nicely. And again, a leverage and centrifugal force when you're using it as a weapon, so it beat it down and then chop it. Tom Hawks working in much the same way. Personal choice there again. Good idea. And again, go ahead and read this article of the Daily Sheeple. Long-term survival. These are the five tools you must have in your bug out kit. We agree. Now one you can throw in there as an additional tool is the machete. But when you do use the machete, remember that a lot of these really well made ones now have a buccaneer, wraparound knuckle duster type grip, and they have a saw back. Makes them more than one tool. whenever you can make them more than one tool that knuckle duster finger guard that makes me punch somebody if you're stuck and you can't bring the blade around punch them pile the chickless guys the cutting blade works for defoliation the saw works for knocking down bigger parts so again between the three of tools you got pretty much everything you need to stay in business wherever you plop your hind end down when the time comes or while you're in motion anyway we have a call we've got oh 46 minutes after the hour. Who do we have? Call or jump in there, please. You got Argue here again. Hey, Argue, jump in. How are you today? It's shiny up here, Captain. It's shiny and it really is. Ah, we just, the sun's coming out, but it's cold, sir. I called in, I ordered one of those polymers. Haven't seen it yet. He said that that polymer lower is marked automatic. Now, I may be right in the back of my head. I thought I remembered Larry Pratt saying, the backside could put together two pieces of an m sixteen you know two pieces of an automatic weapon they could charge you with the machine gun anybody that being ball i think that i would paint county one what's your take on that part i've seen those what the thing is a little bit not built for select but here's one of the things you can do with mister dremel tool to eliminate that problem but uh... what are like that into the all-time they're like cast into the into the lower and they're not well this way. Number one, where I believe these polymer dies came from is from the original company that made these back in the 1999 window. Remember those when they came out? Originally, as I pointed out, I pointed this out on here too, those were originally contract rifles for the government. The guy was, you know, like all these other select firewalls, he did is he built a semi-auto version. The company disappeared. They And I think what the guy did is he went away from doing the weapons because he also built silencers. Now his company is the one that came up with the pneumatic silencer connector system that pretty much everybody's gone to. Most people don't realize you don't use threads for silencers, guys. You can, but most don't anymore. What everybody said was, well, wait a minute. If we just make a pneumatic connector stud on the end of the barrel, we can do just like we do with air hoses and air hoses handle thousands of pounds of pressure in some cases hundreds at least and my rifle round ain't gonna do that bad so basically what he did is he went into two fields pretty much and captured the market for a period of time now the columnar rifles were five pounds and he made both the upper and the lower and I would like to know if the upper molds were destroyed I don't know why anybody has gotten back into that because everybody who had one of these rifles when they were $1,500 apiece Used and abused them and couldn't break them because I know guys that did buy them that are here not too far from where I'm sitting and They've this day, but the company just you know, they realized wait a minute. It's a five pound rifle It's polymer. It's less of a signature for you know, metal detection after etc. Plus all the other plastic parts you can get now so I don't know if these molds are from that family, but remember we're not building it as a select fire and I mean the fact that it's been the rules Oh absolutely. The best way to get a human to sign out about shoelace. Your best bet is to take a buffing tool and simply make that casting face disappear because it's not a big deal. On the outside it can be comfortably buffed if you're concerned about that and may go away. I wondered, how fresh it might disturb the molecular sure underneath it. It's like if you try to remove a series of metal underneath when it Well that's where I think a soft buffing system... Yeah, use a soft buffing system. I wouldn't use a coarse tool on it anyway because I don't need to. I don't need to. Seeing how likely those are fixed and it wouldn't be an issue. Number one, again, where we've already told everybody, the select kits that you're buying are semi-auto kits, number one. As far as these things going together, if there's a concern about that, although now there are virtually tens and tens of thousands of them out there, It's a toss up. If you're gonna make it a 510 or a stashed gun, it's gonna get buried underground anyway. Don't worry about it. Don't even, you know, just put it wherever you want to. Now, one of the things that is an issue, uh, in general, is if they wanna start piddling with people, I'd say it's more likely that they're going to let all these M16A1 bolt carriers out there, and then they're gonna get, they're gonna gack everybody over those if they're with the rifle. Because back in the 70s, that's one of the scams they were playing. The government was selling, and Colt even sold a bunch of the standard bolts, let about into the market and knock off of the sionic uh... suppressor flash the uh... the uh... noise reducer that was on the carpet team which everybody wanted to look cool sixteen a one-ball are worried you have been a people about the reward illegal but it was quote-unquote interpretation like you said for the bad baguettes yet you remember that in this case would be with these uh... polymers best thing to do again buff them up, they've got retaining blocks, retaining kits that are cast in. So they've got those where the pivot is in place, but they've got the stamping on the side, which is not a stamping, you can't say that. It's a molding, it's part of the molding. So as far as making that flat, that's not a big deal. And as long as we don't exaggerate and just work around that area, uh... trouble to work with a popping compound and as long as you're doing it might help up more of a whole side of the weapon in the process if you want polish up a little bit that's an option remember solid color all the way through so you're not going to affect the color that came up in my mind i just figured if anybody got to repeat put together the same place probably or very properly could be inviting a problem at the wrong time Well, exactly. In fact, hold down a second here. Don's right here with us, so Don's jump in there, please, for a minute. Go ahead. Did Don pull off his chair again? You still there? Oh, no. Hard way to charge you to show everybody run for cover. All right, man. Take it over. As I said with Mark, I was concerned anybody that could be ordering that bolt and that column, even though you have no intention of doing it and you don't have the other comp... I could just see the... Wait, but do we have Joe there too? Yeah, Joe was here a second ago. Oh, I thought that was done. No, it wasn't me. Oh, there we go. Okay, very good. Yeah, the way these are set up, the polymer surface on the side, kind of looking at an image. Anyway, the way that they're set up, you would buff down the whole side. Once you drill the holes, I would simply buff and eliminate the whole problem. That would be the one option for anybody who wants to do that. And in reality, these, like I said, probably, I don't believe they reinvented the wheel. In fact, just to reverse company that originally had the dies uh... somebody got my wish they would get the uppers and would be doing the uppers the same way i do not know why they're not doing the uppers because knowing how they tested these uh... there was no problem with them for normal life you know life cycle and with standard ammunition otherwise uh... that particular issue from one side and again like you said the uh... all you're doing with these column here is taking the oreo cookie center out drilling these to standard configuration and they're semi-automatic the way they're set up. So we don't want to do, well actually they're so ridiculous, these are a jigless fixture the way they're set up. That's one of the first things to remember. As was pointed out by one of our callers last night, you want to use a drill press through drill points, left and right, through the side of the receiver for your hammer, sear, All the other finish is done. Everything from the threading for the tube, for the buffer tube, all those little tiny screw holes which usually people make mistakes on, those are all done. So the only thing we've got to be concerned with is again the final cutout and drilling the last three holes. If they made them with little paper, punched out, that would have been the one that I got. That would have been perfect. Well, actually, you know, that's the thing that somebody was talking about, is that if you did these right, actually when you drill out the soft, chewy plastic, the holes actually could have been drilled and in place. But this makes more sense considering what you're doing. So, because it eliminates the possibility of any contention about it being a finished piece from the get-go. It's an 80% polymer. Otherwise, clean and mean and the black ones, the green ones and pink ones look just fine. So, good point. I appreciate bringing that up. Alright, thank you Mark. I'm going to drop off. We're at the top already. We got Joe with us up there on the rock. Joe, how's it looking there, by the way, before we go to break? Oh, we got a nice warm breeze going on here. Tropical breeze up there. Shame on you for spiting us all. We have winter here. Anyway, well, that's Cammy. What do we expect? The Indians knew it well enough to go there during the winter, so obviously it was a good spot. It was a good, shall we say, vacation spot. We'll have bananas in no time. Well we're at the top of the hour and God bless the republic. That's the new world order. We shall prevail ladies and gentlemen. The empire is on the run. And we're on the march type day. We may have, if everything goes well, Mark Baker from Baker's Green Acre calling in about 10 after. So the third hour, pay attention if you're able to make it. Fantastic stuff. I'm sure we got more to cover here. We'll be back in a little bit. Joe, myself, and the rest of the crew up there on the rock. It's Wednesday.
