Mark Koernke discussed firearms, ammunition, and preparedness on the evening of February 12, 2014. The show covered small and medium frame pistols, revolver specifications, and holster options from military surplus suppliers like E-Sarco Inc., including British Enfield rifle slings and Eastern European handguns. Caller Daryl reported that the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Postal Service had placed large ammunition orders, including 141,000 rounds of .308 sniper ammunition and millions of rounds of 7.62x39 with AK magazines. The discussion shifted to hunting experiences, ballistics comparisons between calibers (.308 vs .223), and the importance of proper ammunition selection. Koernke and callers also discussed government agencies acquiring weapons and ammunition, referenced postal worker shootings as potentially drug-induced incidents, and provided detailed product recommendations for affordable surplus firearms and magazines from E-Sarco Inc.

His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms He fought to keep what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Dill the land of the afternoon ladies and gentlemen, although it's getting darker outside This is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I'm our kirky one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, central, southeast, and east. LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com, we're on AM and FM micro stations, CB base stations, and Ultra Net Technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. We're in the Hallmark Network on the eastern seaboard from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida, from the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico. Headed Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both the third, fifth pit, and our friends in the Recall State of Colorado. Good job there. Making a list, checking it twice. Got all the bad guys in camera and their license plates and all the other fun stuff. Set up a 5-10 program, make sure that you got the rest of your technology squared away. The basic survival and preparedness list applies. Turning back to the east, we sweep across the plains, leap over the burgeoning banks of the Mississippi land and the Smokies, where the restaurant crews, grammar teams, ok teams, and the model build grammar consortium of retired telecommunications workers, bringing us to the Golden Spike. The only other thing, we're going to have some phenomenal illumination because we've got, as I pointed out, really bright moonlight. Well, the moon doesn't generate its own light, guys. So we do have extensive solar activity and solar flare activity that's been taking place. And because of that, well, you don't need a flashlight to walk outside. Use your natural night vision with the white on the ground where we are here in Michigan combined with that illumination from above. It is daylight. In fact, I even got some registry off of some of the little solar panels from the moon. It was that bright. Don't ask me, but just again, looking at the little meter here, it actually responded. And that's rather fascinating in and of itself. It actually shut down the couple of little solar lights. that are sensitive to daylight so that's another one that's kinda cool but they were the cheaper ones so I expect that. Anyway it is the 12th of February it is the sixth year open Fabian Socialist and Soviet Socialist Occupation of America with a K2000 and 14 Old Earth Calendar or Mayan Crazy Town Crazy Town Calendar as you all know. Grab that cup of coffee first of all let's take a smell I've got the Cate Latte Cup. It's got the two little kitties in the coffee cup on the side of the coffee cup. Anyway, smell, taste. Mmm. Oh yeah, oh, oh, it's a mellow. Oh yeah, there you go. Yeah, evening. The evening is coming. It is upon us almost. I took it out and moved some more firewood. Oh man. Anyway, for everybody out there, we were talking about 25 automatics or small frame automatics and medium frame automatic pistols, but, and we did just... tap the edge of the small revolver and mid revolver category. Not going to get in that real deep for the moment unless anybody else wants to ask any questions. Other than to say that the older lighter pistols of that type just use them in their specs. Now, you know, per their original specs. Now revolvers, remember you can take the basic load and but change out to some really mean and nasty bullets. Revolvers are very forgiving about that because there's no feed ramp to worry about. So individually loading each chamber and using a factory standard load that meets that gun's specs. You don't need to have a flamethrower, you don't need a massive amount of unburned powder leaving the end of the barrel wrong, just a reverse. Better that the gun be ultimately and totally controllable and you're hitting the target repeatedly with all the energy that that bullet can deliver, that cartridge charge can deliver. Now there are a lot of nice little weapons out there and I do want to touch on something else by the way too. There's a lot of military leather out there for the small automatics you may think, wow, man, man, Mark, what do you mean? Well, actually, there's a lot of Eastern European, there were 25 automatics actually were issued out there and, you know, small frame, tiny guns, pocket guns. But there is leather out there and nylon and canvas camouflage holsters that are out there available that are quite complimentary to the weapons. They're not all flat pollsters, but I don't have a problem with a flat pollster when you consider where you're going to be. The flat pollster keeps dirt, keeps moisture off the gun, keeps direct moisture off the gun. Needless to say, leather or nylon can still collect moisture, so you have to make sure you're doing maintenance to your firearm on a regular basis, and you need to be inspecting it, and the ammunition. But there are some very nice utility holsters that are very serviceable. A lot of them are showing up in a mix of variations to include a flap holster for the macarons, for the PA-63s that include an extra mag pouch, which is always convenient. The biggest thing is finding the spare mag pouches. They made them. And for whatever reason they didn't end up in the same place as all the other cool stuff that they had out there. So the individual cell mag pouches went in one direction and the holsters typically went in another, which isn't a problem. Now another example, and by the way these are very cheap right now and are readily available, if you have a Tokarev or a comparable size single stack, Some automatic pistol the Tokarev minimalist communist holster with mag pouch is available from e-circo ink.com It's on the front page. By the way, if you get down to the bottom of the new scroll for the front page of e-circo ink.com e-circo ink.com Take the time, scroll down through the items to the very bottom of the page. And look at that, there they are. There's both the Skeletized Holster without the MagPouch, that's $9.95, and the Minimalist but with a Spareslip Leather Sleeve for a magazine, Tokarev Minimalist Communist Holster with MagPouch for $12.95. You may notice also off to the right side they have the standard flap holster with the original magazine pouch, the whole nine yards there. They have some excellent little surveys showing you what they look like inside and out. You have a little snap cover for the magazine holder that's on the outside. So again it's a self-contained system. I don't know whose those are. They look like they might be Chinese but they may not be. It could be Korean also. Or Vietnamese. Oh, they could be Vietnamese. I'll have to find out more. I have to see if they've got any manufacturing information. The reason I pointed out is they've got blue cordura on the inside, which I think is rather interesting. Or a cordura-type material with a leatherette-type material for the outer body. Leather material. These are neat little holsters. Also has the accommodation for the cleaning rod in the side. So just something to take a look at there, check that out. And again that's e-circoinc.com. Now there are a lot of other holsters that are out there that are available. And they can be mil-spec holsters for any number of different projects. So there aren't just these, in fact we've got some Mackerel Swivel Holsters, that's a Cop Shop Holster. Typically, for the M&Ps and for the militia-slash-police of East Germany and the other Eastern Bloc countries. The swivel type holsters were very popular in the US, probably about the same time that thing was made a year and a decade ago. There were also a number of other pancake holsters, etc. Mole holsters for the broom handle mouser. They're a little more prior to their pressure than they used to be What is interesting on the front page of E dash circle ink is something I had a laugh a little bit when I first saw this the other day Enfield number three and number four slings in funky color Funky color. Don't don't don't funky color. Well, actually that's not a funky color Let me explain to you what happened there. Back in the day, British web gear, web equipment, all came in one color. You were supposed to dye it in the field. Now the problem with the British military is that they had many different dye color vats. They issued the stuff out as they found it brand new. And in the web gear, there was a packet that was a cellophane, not a plastic package, guys, like a cellophane envelope. There was enough dye in there to make up a batch of coloring so you could color your Webgear. OD Green, Medium Green, Sage Brown, Earth Brown, Savannah Tan, Salmon Pink for Egyptian Desert. Oh yeah, they had those colors, yes they did. Well the thing is that this stuff would be sitting there in the troops hands and the old sergeant major, well he wanted the regiment to be, his unit to be uniform in nature so what they did is they got these cauldrons and they would take everybody's dye batch, no matter what packet it was, no matter what color it was, and they would put them into the tub. They put them in the big cauldrons. Then they take everybody's web gear and throw it all in there together. Now the thing is, the greens, the browns, the pinks, everything else went in there, the tans. So what they ended up with for a final color didn't quite look like it was natural to anything, although it was kind of subdued. But the big thing is they came up with some really interesting combinations. Now, in addition to that, I mentioned that salmon pink. Just as you've seen other desert camos, which when you see them in other environments that they weren't built for, they look strange, you've got to remember that there are different base colors for soil all over the planet. These slings are, as I pointed out, in a funky color. Well, that color could have been for the western or eastern deserts of North Africa. or any number of other places where again they just needed to use up the die packs they had the color that soaked in soaked in and that's all she wrote now the interesting thing is these are very cooperative swing and I'd like using them for most of my heavy rifles they're British yes they're British stamp yes all let's see these got misdied no they didn't they didn't get misdied These got misdied. Make it your own win and sell them as is or re-die them and resell them at gun shows. If you buy 1 to 99, they're $2.50 a sling, which is not bad. These are a compression type sling like the British Web Gear. World War II, all of it worked this way, guys. So simple, it's ridiculous, which makes it very user friendly, quick to adjust. and very sturdy once it is in place and these are the canvas wings for the British number four mark one or the you know the number one mark three Enfield's and they work really well in jungle car beans they work on the moss rifles they'll work on a Springfield rifle they'll work on your well the nay got you don't have the rings you need but they you can make a set of rings for those so there are a lot now go ahead color that's Daryl oh Daryl there we go I'm sorry Daryl were you there Yeah, well, I called at the beginning of the program, but it must not have connected through, right? Because I had marked about two or three times and couldn't... Break your train of thought that's strange. Okay. Yeah, well, okay I dialed it dialed it again. And there we go. Okay. Well jump in there I tell you what this is e sar e dash sarco Inc comm guys if you're looking for an inexpensive Rifle sling that's well made these are really well made I used to buy them for a quarter apiece Yeah, I know that's back then so now they're ten times the cost of what they used to be Instead of a quarter apiece. They're two dollars and fifty cents, but that's not bad If you buy $100 to $399, they're $2 apiece. If you buy $400 to $599, they're $1 apiece. And if you buy $600 or more, they're $0.90 apiece. So if you have a battalion, you buy $601 of them, and they're $0.90 per unit, which means you'll pay about $600 or less than $600 for them, which isn't bad. Like you were saying, you can adapt them to almost any record, just because it says for the reason. Oh, yeah. They're a real symptom. All you've got to do is get the, I think those are what about an inch and a quarter wide? Yeah, they're the same width as the standard US military canvas or leather slings for the era. Yeah, well then you could get the extra wide swivels from Uncle Mike's. They make the swivel heads with an inch and a quarter so that they can take those big whites things so you could fit them to almost any gun there is. Yep, they work really well on all the military era rifles because the sling rings are typically the same the Carcano is an odd man out Let's see like we said the nay got uses a hanger system But you can actually make hangers that are wide enough if you're familiar with how they built the hanger system for the nay gots They've got grooves in the stocks They're supposed to be metal bands in there that hang down in the sling hooks to that with a leather leather keeper if you make a wider hanger Which you can make out of coat hanger wire heavy heavy gauge coat hanger wire You can mount the sling on that it's not a big deal. I've done it both ways The thing is that these are actually pretty reasonably priced by today's standards for $2.50 a piece. But I had to laugh when I saw that funky color thing because I've talked to a lot of guys who were in the British Army and guys who were in the Canadian Army and they both experienced the same thing. So guys, these weren't accidentally dyed. This is the dye that the Sergeant Major forced upon the troops, okay? It's just how it happened. I say we're all going to take our dye packs and put them in the cold written and they did And we'll all be dressed the same. Yeah, we'll all be the same color You may not like the color, but we'll all be dressed the same. Pipe the color pink to match your eyes. Yes pews for the counter trim, right? Pomegranate, pews, and pink. I was not able to listen to the first hour of your show, but something that I come across tonight today when I was doing some research Homeland Security is at it again, Zeke Hial They just put in a purchase order for a hundred and forty one thousand rounds of Sniper ammo They're looking they want the one of these 308 Zombie 165 grain was what did they say that was zombie mode? Yeah, the zombie back 168 green a max tap ammunition interesting. Well, it's a cool round. I just say somebody read enough magazine articles, they decided that they needed zombie bags now. Well, apparently at the post office. I think it was the post office that's for though, right? It didn't say no, this is Homeland Security. Okay, I was gonna say the post office. Maybe I theoretically they may have decided that either customers or employees, you know, zombie. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, they the post office did place in order. We had that story down at the radio station Saturday night. The post office did place an order for some ammunition. I don't think they put in there how many thousands of rounds they wanted, but in that order, or in that also, there was a rather large order for AK magazines. Something like, it was either 60,000, I think it was 60,000. My memory is coming back to me. They ordered 18 million rounds of 7.62 by 39 and 60,000 AK mags. Well that means there's got to be some AK somewhere. Well yeah, that... You wouldn't buy the mags and you wouldn't buy the ammo if you don't have something they go in. Despite what everybody thinks. Guys, that means that somebody's got something for whatever reason to supply foreign troops because it's what they're familiar with, which is most likely. Or either that or keep the if it isn't for that keep the Keep the supply of ammo high, you know, and they just in order to justify it they put so much in each in each government bureaucracy I think somebody in that article appointed out. There's like 72 government agencies and all 72 of them have now been armed including the Department of Education with the SWAT team and the Department of Agriculture. They also have a SWAT team So, the handwriting is on the wall, well actually it's no longer on the wall, it's on the seat of your pants, they're getting ready to come for us. And something that I heard from Alex Jones, and the Obama was talking to the French ambassador off camera and supposedly off microphone, and he made the comment to him, he says he loved being king because he can do whatever he wants. Hey, Darrell. Hey, it's JC. Hey, let me get this straight. You're saying the Department of Homeland Security has recognized the fact that half of the country is zombies due to the outcome of the last election and they are preparing to take them out? I guess that's... We totally figured out. I figured that's what they're going to do. That's my plan. Well, you know the irony of the load, you mentioned that 168 grain tap. I use that a lot, especially, it's a great deer round actually, but it is point of aim, point of impact identical to the federal 168 grain match ammunition. Well, like I say, this is supposed to, after the most, according to the story, was the Hornady one. So, they even showed the picture. They even got the picture right there. It shows Hornady with a great big H and it bullets in the two uprights of the H and then it says zombie max. Just in case. So basically it says zombie and then it says a boater in parentheses. Well, no, it doesn't say that, but we can apply that. Pretty close. Yeah. That's why I prepared for the zombie apocalypse now. The last election proved that half the country is zombies. Well, you know, the government's been making zombie ammo for... years, ever since they came out with that 62 grain penetrator for the M-16 or the M-16, the SS-109 with a little green tip. Okay, everything you see out there for zombie is in green, right? Okay, well, there you are. The government's been making the 62 grain penetrator with the green tip on it for who knows how long. Ironically, that's around in the 556. Well, that might very well be but I'm just just you know letting people know I've never been a fond Of that particular caliber for hunting big game okay for bermits, it's fine and Of course we have a whole bunch of bermits down there in Washington district of criminals. So Yeah, I guess it did balances out, but I was always a firm believer that when you're hunting bermits especially woodchucks, you use the same caliber of ammo, same bullet weight of ammo that you would use to go deer hunting with. Because over a period of time, shooting the different distances at the woodchucks or groundhogs, you will develop a very distinct knowledge of how your bullet and your gun perform at various ranges and weather conditions. And when it comes time to go serious, You will be one step up on the enemy who's still playing around with their close range Pinker toy. Well, I definitely believe that the those that are the orcs that do at the the Mordor on the paternal probably I'm not a huge fan of the whole concept of just use something that will win somebody I think that's kind of foolish. That's a typical, you know, government slash big mill, you know, way of doing things. And honestly, we really don't have the ammunition to be dumping into trying to wound somebody because a wounded opponent is still just, can be just as dangerous if not more so. Yeah, if he isn't totally disabled by the round when you wound him, he can heal up and then he can be coming back at you or at somebody else. So, I mean just the fact that you wounded right there, I mean he's still, you know, a wounded animal. He's still, can be very, can kill you. So, you know, you don't take chances, you know, okay, well duh, has twice the energy practically of a 5.56. Well, if anybody has ever hunted deer with a 308, and I've hunted deer for Oh, let's see. I'm 65. I've been hunting deer now for 53 years, and I started out with the shotgun in 3030. I want to get into a long story here, but back in 1980, I built myself a custom .308, and I would have to say that since I built that, I have shot, well, this year I shot four deer with it. Filled all my tags with it. Fired four shots at various ranges, and None of them. None of them walked away. Only one ran about 10 yards and it ran closer to me when it finally laid down. But the rest of them just dropped right where they were at. Oh, I completely agree. The .308 and what you do if you're tired, if you're winded or whatever, whereas the .223 You know, I've shot a number of deer with a .223, but every one of them, I had to shoot in the neck to drop it right there, and the only one I ever shot in the heart, I had to shoot a second time. I've never had that issue with a .308. Well, three of the four deer that I shot this year were from various ranges out to 120 yards, and the first one out at 120 yards was a hotshot, was a heartshot, and it just dropped right there. Of course, two other ones that I nailed, they were a little closer. One was 90, that was also a heart shot. And the one that hit was at 50 yards and it ran closer to me and laid down just 10 feet from the ladder from the deer stand I was in. It was shot through the heart. The other one that I got was Oh shoot, just behind the ribcage. And you know, it messed up the insides a little bit, but it didn't go very far. Well, I'm glad to see that you did your part as a fellow Pennsylvania militiamen during your exercise back in during deer season. Yes, sir. I engaged six of the enemy and only two of them got away. Neutralized at least four of the aggressor quadrupeds. Yes. In the battle between the biped and quadruped armies, the quadruped forces were decimated. Yep. Anyway, and I'm not bragging or anything, but I'm just pointing out that with the battle that's coming, you should have your primary weapon, it should be a big caliber, I don't care if it's .308 or .30-06, or even a .338 or a .300 Winchester mag, those calibers that can reach out 7, 8, 900 to 1,000 yards without any problem whatsoever, because then you can start engaging in that distance. And if you know your weapon, again, this is where it comes into hunting vermin or varmints. that various ranges comes into play and trains you or helps you train to know what your gun will do with whatever particular bullet weight you happen to be using. So it's an advantage. Plus the fact that when you do hit them, they generally are not going to walk away. I'll repeat that. They are generally not going to walk away because I don't intend to use full-metal jacket. I intend to use the biggest or heaviest soft point that I can get so it takes out big chunks or it takes out bones. I'll take your arm off or I'll take your leg off. Then if I have to, I can put another one in while you're laying there. Anyway, go ahead. Oh, I got your caller. Go ahead and jump in there if you want to. Well, I was just thinking, you know, we were talking about all these different departments buying ammo like crazy. And I mean, it's going to be real comical when they start shooting at us and they're all going to be wearing... I can't wait to see that clown who's going to shoot at me from the post office with a big, I'm from the post office sign on the back of his jacket. He's going to be wearing the flappy hat with the ear trailers up, but I'm not tied. He will be wearing the short sleeve shirt, leather mail bag, Bermuda shorts, postal service shorts, high stockings and Oxford low quarters. Now while he may not look like he's combat effective remember the mail bag can hold a lot of magazines when it's not carrying mail The thing is you'll probably be told a dual task you will be trying to kill you and deliver mail in the process So you know be it'll be a tough thing between deliver the mail and shoot at the you know shoot at the you know population They're gonna have to pay them extra then if they're gonna do that because that's multitasking it probably goes beyond their union description Right beyond Union parameters. Yeah, that's the only problem with that What, no post office ghillie suit? Well, you know, remember that wicked guy, guys. Now, let's not laugh too much. Let's remember, if you remember the three days of the Condor, the pasty-faced mailman with the mailbag with the Mac 10 in it. Don't forget, I remember that, it's like, yeah, I'll never forget that one. He was delivering the mail. Yeah, okay, whatever well you know it was led pill. Yeah, exactly So but yeah, and don't worry and don't forget folks that if you do run short of ammunition And you've taken care of all those that they have sent after you can always dial 911 and order a specified shoe size and caliber Yeah Can you send somebody a little bigger? What? Can you send somebody just a little bigger? What do you mean? The last guy had size 10 shoes and I need a size 12. Send somebody a size 12. I won't waste them, but I would prefer if you could. You can kind of, you know, do a little spec work before you send these guys out. Now that is something that really would bother them a lot. We're ordering things through the phone service with the postal operation, the combat postal troops. Well, the other thing here too again is the postal services had firearms in the past, guys. We've got to remember this. They used to have 45s in the post office because the post office, well, robbers would go after the stamps. Stamps are money. You can spend stamps. That's what they used to do. Go ahead. Yeah, they'd spend stamps and then money. And then now the post office sells money orders. how much money they take in selling money orders in a day at the post office. Exactly. Like I say, that's not including, like you say there Mark, that's not including the hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stamps that they may have sitting on the shelves there. Yeah, there has been method to their madness in the past, but remember, they took all of those. It used to be that they would have either a model 1917 N-frame revolver for every cashier or a 1911. And they went away from that. But of course, when you think about it, you see the political correctness at the post office. It doesn't mean there aren't a handful of people that might know what to do with them. But for the most part, would you trust most of what you see across the counter now with a weapon in any way, shape or form? Typically, these be characters. Go ahead. Wouldn't want them going postal after all. Right, exactly. Well, that didn't help. That was the Prozac thing kicking into the post office. There must have been something about sorting and boxes and numbers and the Prozac mixing together. There's something about that, because you know that kind of disappeared. Now, it came out, that postal thing where everybody was joking about it, came out in a window of activity and then disappeared for some reason. Why is that? Well, it's probably because they finally got the point across, if we can't protect ourselves, then we can go postal, and that demonstrated, well, maybe we better put the guns back in there in case some of our own employees decide to go postal. Well, you know, let them shoot each other off, and that's less we have to worry about. They were shooting which, you know, I bet you they were testing out which shooting in public made more noise. So that didn't work so now they have the kids shooting other kids in schools. Yeah, the restriction also a control factor. But the interesting thing is that when the postal issue came about, we knew about the Prozac Prodigy shooters and that's definitely what the postal shooters were. But there's a combination of things because they were set off in a particular way which always made us wonder if it wasn't a binary thing. Again, for them, Something they could introduce into what is a very restricted environment after all postal workers are only going to be behind the counter in the post office and there isn't going to be any interaction except over the counter. You know or through the post office box that's it. They're not going to be, you know, the customer isn't going back to where they do their work and fiddle fart around behind the area of activity. So, postal employees were a unique category when it came to how and why they set off the Prozac shooter system there. Because remember, one of our most significant, the one we really pegged them on was a post office shooting here in Michigan, the one that didn't Dearborn. And that one, we had witnesses from inside that came forward from the departments, and they flat out explained that the whole thing was set up. Don't forget, and I'm not picking on veterans, and I'm not justifying these new policies that the Veterans Administration is putting out there to declare veterans unstable so they can't own guns. But a lot of postal employees are former military personnel, and who knows what little drug feats were fed to them or or if they were coming out and having a psychological problem because of the stuff they were involved in and whatever theater of war they were at, might have had some post-traumatic syndrome, stress syndrome, and they were given the Prozac or Ritalin, and then while they were being given that to observe them, they may have given them a a code word that when they got this phone call and there were just one word said peaches or whatever the word would be they would go and act out whatever they were told to do. Now that may sound like conspiracy but hey with what's going on in our country I put nothing past them. Nothing at all. It's most likely the case that's the whole point. You know real quick guys before we go any farther I want to bring this up today I've mentioned Sarco a couple of times you know we've been talking about those slings. They have a handful of pistols that are under $300. Now they all send for $225 for very good condition, but both of those, there are magazines available in a standard 9mm so there's nothing really to write home about. It's not a surprise gun, it works just fine. But if you scroll down... Yeah, it should be double single or double actions hammer. It's a hammered 9 millimeter Basically, it's a double action browning hyper and they have three pistols here that fit in that niche They've got the Arcus for 175 to 225 dollars. They've got two versions there as far as you know price price range But then they also have the Daewoo model DP51. Now back when the Daewoo rifles came in, these pistols started to come into the United States. They're Korean. They're again a double action high power. I do not know if they take high power mags and I'm going to find out tomorrow. I was going to do this the other day and I forgot. Basically too many things to call on. But for $225 they have a very good condition about DP51. Now, those are not old long and the tooth guns. Daewoo has not been around that long. These are in 9mm. They are Korean high power pistols, but they are double action and single action. Now, the last one they have are actual high powers. But they have the FEG high power made in Hungary for $250. Now, this is a single action. steel frame, steel slide. A lot of these were sold to Saddam Hussein's Iraq and his troops carried a lot of these. Many of you listening brought these back from the Middle East. Well, what's neat about this is that they actually have mags and, now usually it's the mags you can't find, Hungarian high power P9R 9mm mags. I brought this up a couple months ago. They've got them in stock, 3 to 99 of them. If you buy 3 of them, up to 99, they're $11.65 a piece per mag. And that's an excellent price for a magazine that before you couldn't get. Now if you buy single mags like 3 or less or 2 or less, they're $14.95 so I can't see doing that. I can see buying at least 3 mags so you get that $11.65 price. I'd buy a lot more because that's a very reasonable price for a very decent hand cannon. And most everything is up in stupid price range right now. You know, the cheapest Glock that came and went in the last week, Centerfire Systems had Glocks for $300 apiece for Gen 2 .40 Cal's. They sold out the same date. I don't think you have anything. You don't even have a vapor lock on those and you're not offering a backorder yet that I know of. These are high powers. There's a lot of mags out there, but you don't have to search for mags. So $250 for the pistol in very good condition. Typically the internals are fine. It's a scratch and outside that's not pretty. I don't care about pretty. If the web pistol functions, that's my concern. They also have the Kareen Israeli high powers. Those are $275 comparable gun. Both these guns are sitting side by side on their page where they have their pistols listed. They only have one page of pistols that are complete handguns. The Arcus model 94 for between $175 or for very good condition $225. Then they have the Daewus again for $225 or $250. and then they have the FEG high power for 250 and the FEG the mags are right there with it I do not know whether or not high power mags will fit the Daewoo I'm going to find out about that if they do those little Daewoos are a nice little package the Arcus was a good weapon I believe the Arcus is magazine specific, but if it's high power magazine capable, then that would be another option. For $175, I can buy another $125 worth of magazines, you know, for $300. So again, these are three solutions. They're all 9mm. You hand it to me, I'd make this weapon, you know, function flawlessly. I don't think there's any problem with any three of these guns. all three are perfectly serviceable. We were getting to small handguns, talking about them in the last hour. This hour, that's a medium standard frame semi-automatic pistol, 9mm Parabellum slash 9mm NATO, ball ammunition all day and the guns have been proven. All three of these firearms have been in service for quite some time and they work well. They're not going to be a problem for you at all. Plenty of leather, lots of holsters laying around, all kinds of cross, draw, hip holsters, you name it. The big thing is buy mags and ammo right away. Buy more mags. I'll find out about the Arcus too, because I can't remember guys. I remember when the Arcus came out and it got raves, it got pluses from all over the place. Everybody wanted one. It's a two-tone chrome frame in this case, black slide, 9mm, nothing to write home about otherwise, basic Arcus pistol, and $175 makes it pretty reasonably priced. So definitely another another solution. Go ahead jump in their car Anyway, I'll tell you what Darrell gun shows where you're gonna be before we go any farther We don't want to miss out on being able to you know, blame you for whatever the problems of the world are Well, I would I would be at the Saratoma Club here in two weeks Actually a weekend from this weekend here in Meego on Bowdoin Street extension And then the week after that I will be down in Rocky Grove, Pennsylvania which is right next to Franklin at the fire hall down there. That's a 150-200 table show and it's usually pretty well packed but I will be there so people can come and say hello, pull my hair, whatever, kick me in the butt, tell me you don't like what I'm saying and all that kind of stuff, that don't matter. Because I know in my heart, it's true, anyway. That's my itinerary for the next two weeks. Sarah Tonal Club here in Meadville and Rocky Grove Fire Hall down in Rocky Grove, Pennsylvania. Very good. So for everybody out there listening, get a chance to finally actually attach a face to the voice and you can go, oh, now I know who to hunt down later. Anyway, definitely worthwhile checking out the gun shows. Remember guys, be prepared with a checklist. A lot of people have asked me about parts and I will point out again, go through the parts boxes. If you know what you're looking for, you'll probably find what you're looking for. I just need to be patient. I found, in fact I've walked through the shows and just patiently collected the parts. The last Arasaka, I went through all the junk boxes for the either finish was tired or the, for instance, the receivers used to be $10 a piece. I know they're going for more. But if they've ground off the Lotus on the receiver, the Chrysanthemum, The cool thing is that usually they're cheap because everybody's traded all the good parts off the rifle to put it on one that still has the markings intact. And you can put together a nice little bolt-action tack driver for a little of nothing. If you're just patient, go through the parts. Same with Mauser. There's a lot of Mauser parts in the goodie boxes. And if you've got a barreled receiver that you picked up, I've gone through the shows, got a barrel receiver for $10. For another $25, $30, all the parts including a Sport-A-Rise stock. Then from there it's spray paint, it's methodically going through the parts, cleaning everything up, degreasing everything, de-rusting anything, and then paint her back up, put her back together, make sure it's lubricated. Finish the stock up tactically and you got yourself a nice little simple handout rifle that costs you a little of nothing. If it's in an odd caliber, be patient, start collecting ammunition. The other consideration, if you've got somebody who knows what they're doing, you might change out the caliber to something else. You might have a barrel and have somebody who knows what they're doing headspace it. We've done that with a lot of the Mausers here or a lot of the Arasaka's that are laying around. Some of our guys have been playing with the Arasaka's for quite some time. And one of the calibers that works really well with the Arasaka is 30-30. Sounds weird, but since the base is about the same depending on whether it's the rimmed or the semi-rimmed case because they made them in several variations. They're all a notched rimmed base, but remember that there are several variations built during the war, three different variations in the cartridge configuration. And so they do lend themselves towards other modifications like the British Enfield. I was thinking I'd be switching it out. I'd just switch it possibly over to 303 or to 3030 forgive me. That sounds strange, but it's not because there's lots of 3030 around not so much 303 the way there used to be. So if I was building up a kit gun, I'd have a Douglas barrel built for about $60 have it threaded or pin spec ready to go and then fresh barrel on the gun. I wouldn't even worry about putting a front sight on it because I'd put a scope on it anyway. That way when I had space, it's pretty straightforward. Don't have to fight it. and whoever is putting the barrel on and I got a heavy weight barrel 22 inches long, nice action, smooth butter action and boom boom. So there are ways to get around the wallet issues guys. Hopefully we gave you some solutions with the handguns here a minute ago. Anything else, Darryl, before we go? Well, that just about covers as far as I got for this time. I have some stuff for next week. Very good. E-Sarco, Inc.com.
