Mark Koernke opened with a guest discussing presidential history and the evolution of American governance from Hoover through Obama, touching on the First Amendment's original meaning versus modern interpretation, church-state separation doctrine, and education policy. The show then shifted to Koernke's commentary on Michigan's record agricultural production (apples, corn, and beans), favorable winter conditions supporting wildlife and fish populations, and criticism of federal agricultural policy under the Obama administration. Koernke condemned what he characterized as communist infiltration of the Department of Agriculture and DNR, arguing that climate action initiatives are designed to destroy American farmers and seize their land for foreign interests.
Dr. Ryan. The most immediate predecessor was Herbert Hoover and in some ways they actually each have more in common with each other than either one of them did with Calvin Coolidge speaking of before the break. In a way you might make a continuum here and put Hoover a little bit in the middle in monitoring and even guiding economic activity. But to believe that they're sized that role through suggestion making, a system of voluntary cooperation. published in the early 1920s and as the name implies, he was an individualist. He liked this idea of, but he wasn't exactly a libertarian. He had some responsibilities to the rest of society and that they should promote a system of welfare capitalism to help out the little guy and guide them and mentor them and help coordinate their efforts in doing so. Clearly, a big catastrophe such as World War I. and the Great Depression. And Hoover actually, after he lost to FDR in the 19th, and later on he lived a long life and he was active in helping out the food relief programs for the Second World War. Same kind of humanitarian impulse, using the government to coordinate the efforts of industries, but trying not to do so in a coercive manner. And FDR, in a fair way, adopted some of these voluntary type programs, but also moved more into the coercive style. that we're more familiar with today. And I think there would be more so President Johnson in the 1960s, that kind of form of liberalism into its modern form even more than FDR. So, is another, you mentioned stepping stones earlier, he's kind of another stepping stone. I imagine just probably with FDR, do you continue to press? Chapters of my book, Discovering the American Republic, actually include a couple of speeches by our current president, Barack Obama. I believe I have three of them, is his first inaugural address. And then I have his second inaugural address as well. I have a little bit about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. And then if I recall, I also have the address that he gave in Egypt in 2009. June 4 was the date. It's called New Beginning. It's kind of his overture to the Muslim world. And so we talk about that as well in our final week. A presidential quote. Summarize each era. Yeah. here's a favorite one from recent years and this is from uh... president george w push we give you one from him and one from obama though from george w push nine eleven he made the statement he could freedom human heart i think that every person here of every nation the hope of every human heart every person i think there's uh... that they're going back to our founding fathers part the future of every nation sticky uh... does it mean nation-building criticized for uh... the neoconservative agenda in that regard no matter which way you want to take that last part, it's open for some healthy debate, I think. Obama, my favorite quotation from him comes actually from his first inaugural address, and this is where he made the statement, the parents' willingness to nurture a child that determines our nation's faith. And I think that's probably the wisest thing that President Obama has said, that it's the willingness of a parent to nurture a child that determines our nation's faith, and I think he could speak of that autobiographically in the lives of their children. to nurture those children and that that really how we treat the rising generation. What we sow there is what we will reap in the future of the nation. So the House Fighter Project was established back in 2008 and House is a German name. It means head of household or literally house. It's something we borrowed from the Catechism of Martin Luther, the reformer from the 16th century. And Luther basically made an instruction manual, a brief overview of Christian theology. for parents to use in the home called his catechism and commandments and the Lord's Prayer and so forth. And at the head of each chapter it says, as the head of the household shall teach it to the entire family. And that phrase, head of the household, myself and several like-minded individuals, with the idea of encouraging fathers in particular, with parents generally, and taking an Christian upbringing of their children and emphasizing things like home devotion and homeschooling and resources. along those lines. In case our readers are interested, you can find it on the internet, u-s-v-a-t-e-r dot o-r-g, that's house dot o-r-g. And to the next guest, I'm going to line up right now. I think they're quite ready yet, but an attorney. I guess right here in my community, there was a, not a charter school, but a new private school that started up, and there's also an environment here in the state of a number of students who come in from from home schools as well as private schools as well as public schools. So when that matches, I think what you're going to find is broad statistical studies of how to edge academically against the other. It probably relates directly to the level of parental involvement and security that they have in the home that enables them to discover their full potential. I appreciate that a little bit longer. With the education laws, I know how they interpreted the first cases. That was 1925 and it was the state of... That's an interesting one in that the... ...one by the creation, although the public relations really won by the... Then the ACLU appealed it on a technically... ...defendant did not have a problem about the relationship between church and state, whether the issue is creation, evolution or the marriage debate that has been so hot in recent years here. It's a good topic. The strong knee-jerk consensus these days seems to be this idea of the wall of separation. So that term just briefly comes from a letter that president Jeff Bue, a group of Baptists who had urged him to have a national day of prayer and Thanksgiving and he basically said, president of the United States, I place to for a day of national first amendment has a wall of separation. Washington had declared a day of Thanksgiving, Adams did so as well. And then of course we know Lincoln did so and thereafter every president basically has more in the 1940s. began to look like Jefferson's phrase and to actually separate church more strictly. So it's the 40s that we see several cases at the federal level that give a 70s. There's a case called the Lemon Test. It's a three-part test. I can remember it. Part of it is that you don't want to have any excessive entanglement between church and state. Part of it is that you must have, if there's a state secular purpose, if it has a sort of lateral religious aspect their purpose and avoiding the excessive entanglement. There's a third one there that's escaping my memory. But that we've had for the past generation or so, marginalized from the public. So then they go and they set up their own enclaves, school movements or otherwise holiday season. There were stamps for Hanukkah, for Kwanzaa. I didn't see any Christenativity scene or anything overtly Christian. It said, Happy Holidays, nice and vaguely. And yet Hanukkah would which is unquestionably religious and Kwanzaa, which is, I don't know if that's really African or quasi-religious or how you want to, the point is it's odd that, but I'm willing to talk a little more about the First Amendment and its original meaning compared to how it's being applied today. Don't make no law respecting an establishment of religion or thereof. And prohibit, individual state church, what it prohibited was the national legislature, national church. like they had over in England, with the Church of England. And in Massachusetts around the year 1830, they actually had to buy spare money with policies adjusted by the states, led to the church. And the reason they did so was not because someone telephoned the ACLU. They didn't have telephones and they didn't have the ACLU back in 1830. The conservative churches that had been receiving the money feared that as liberals gained more seats in the state house, And then they would divert the taxpayer money toward liberal churches and the conservatives would be forced to support that. And then they realized, well, isn't the safest and most prudent thing to do? Just to make sure no one pays taxes to anyone's church and you give voluntarily. So that's actually how that came about, that the last of our states to have an established religion at the local level. And then in 1868, the 14th Amendment was ratified. Cool, for this morning so far, they didn't change it up. I had so many people send little emails and a couple of spikes on the ProMag Archangel M19 or 1891 forgive me, M93's moistened they got stocks. They have a detachable 10 round mag you can apply free stock and people like them. They become an OD green, black and tan. Depending where you are you pick the color that fits. Green and probably the best most universal. We're doing in this temp. I would point out that tan stock with some green across it, some earth brown and then some green. would blend in pretty well out there in the countryside here in Michigan because we got tan and we got white then we got grays and the gray greens are out there for the pine trees and the those colors probably work out pretty well so actually even the tan has its place along with other remote western the United States global warming. Map your face on that one too. Mag Archangel stocks they are on the front page you get a chance to look at them also variable geometry slash many different sizes of quad rails have quick fittings on them and that's on the front page of CenterfireSystems.com CenterfireSystems.com Centerfire putting a unit together, mentions 1-800-950-1231. They accommodate specific variants in the Nagats that are out there, so there's nothing you have to do. Set it right into that nest, then load that rifle. and then test her out on the range. It's very random, very little, but it's coming down straight down just like it did earlier in the two snow. Not a surprise, is right now also, ice fishing has been record. You know what, they don't want to talk about this. Okay, we had record apple production in Michigan. Originally they expected a record production of about 38 million bushels. Now did you hear that? 38 mils of apples. that the number actually was between 42 and 46 million bushels of Michigan American grown apples. The biggest crop we've had in Michigan. And gotta remember our fruit growers took a hit years ago. So guys, this is where the fruit growers are having been kicked back and beat down and put out of business by the Mexicans. The weather, this is what's great about Michigan. Well, it's not great, you guys are freezing up here. Guys, we freeze up here every year. Please ignore the BS propaganda from all these shysters, climates, they're climate shysters, okay? This is the weather that makes our growing season. We have fresh water. Ask California right now about fresh water. What's going on with their fresh water? Ask New Mexico about fresh water. Ask Texas about fresh water. Ask the Plain States about fresh water. Well guess what? We're buried up there. Eyeballs in it. Okay, and it's a cycle. It's why right now it is ridiculous. Other than the incompetent mismanagement that is intentional by the pigs in Washington, the filth, the excrement from the colleges, the wasted trash that needs to be skewered with a bayonet, okay? We didn't just have record apples this year. No discussion about this. We also had record corn. Now, we also had record bean, but it wasn't the off-the-chart because the balance was between the corn crop because of the crop cycles we have in Michigan. If you have a field, you don't just plant it the same way. No, you recycle them, guys. That's a basic rule of animal husbandry. It's a basic rule of farming. How you manage things. But we're getting the weather that is going to make the next season because when we have a special... This is one of the things that everybody needs to understand. When you have a bitter cold, it drives the frost line down. Well, you know what that does? That locks the into the soil. The deeper the frost line, the more water we have trapped below ground that can't get away and is sitting there waiting for the growing season. Here's the kicker. This season, this winter now, you go out there with what we call an ice grinder, or some guys use a chainsaw version where they drill a hole so fast you can't even count it. But either way, you've got them boy fishing. Well, it turns out so far this year, with all the different companies and groups that are competing with each other as far as there's organizations that have just like you have bass. You guys down south have boats and everybody goes speeding along and you gotta catch so many bass. Here we eat the fish, crappies and bluegill and we have what we call giant bluegill. Oh my goodness, I'm thinking about it right now. You would just want to have a pan full of those. Man, anyway, point is that record catches so far. fantastic and part of this in the summer all the moisture we had with all the stuff with all the rains we had a lot of stuff that was run off that goes on from the land into you know the goodies and the nibblies that the all the nutrients they needed meant that this was a really good long growing season for fish you do or don't know fish only grow when the water temperature is a certain level fish they don't go dormant but they slow down and they don't grow as much now this is a trick that people who fish farms know about. Healthy fish farm can actually, when I say healthy, I'll talk about that in a minute because we have people who have done this for years. And in fact some of our patriots were some of the largest perch fish farmers in the state of Michigan. When the weather hits and the ice pops up, the fish kind of go into slow mode. In other words, they're staying alive. So, What we have here is from this season, we have some of the biggest pan fish that have actually been recorded again and I think as far as I understand it, there's at least two different records that have been broken with both the bluegill and the crappie that have been caught on hook this year. Now no discussion about this stuff because after all the fuel resist will be absorbed We're all going to die We don't know how to take care of ourselves and we sure as hell can't produce anything Don't you know now granted it all out of this stuff will be stolen and go to communist China where they're going to send back the roadkill chicken They're going to send back the great deep pork with maggots in it Chopped up so you won't know so you get extra flavoring with the maggots in addition You know for instance They're shipping our grain overseas Automatically now a lot of that happens anyway and always has we used to be the grain belt of the world uh... mismanagement by an incompetence by the pool that are in the department of uh... the agriculture where you pay people not produces why work not be able out of kind of jump in there well of the famous is true their corners to go overseas uh... both the gmo which now people don't want to be put on places where people can't read people can't read and or they don't test their food well they're stuck with the job that shows up for the product to we have produced and mass And this is with a lame operation, guys. This is where with the farmers attack, with the farmers because of Agenda 21, and with the farmers because of a lame Department of Agriculture that has intentionally destroyed our farming production in the United States. Competence, their hatred of humanity, and again, their pay-offs, because socialists get punk-bribed all the time. In fact, they get bought on the cheap. Anyway, we still made record production. In fact, one of the things that the overlap of that is, well, Mark, what about your log style? The weather is terrible. Guys, there's a balance here. Yes, the weather has been tougher, which it is. This is Michigan. We get cold. But the other thing about it is, guys, we've got fruit hanging on the trees. We couldn't get all of the stuff out of the fields. There's no place to put the corn we've produced. Seriously, as quickly as they can get the silos open, and the sooner that they do get the stuff out of the mills and down the road in train cars, trying to get more shoveled in because they had no place left to put it. We still got corn in the fields. Now we just had two days ago, as a matter of fact, we had one of the tractors going down the road to clear one of the fields because they just finally... Now you got to remember, this is... We still have corn in the field right here where I'm sitting. Why? They can't take it in. There's no place for it. In fact, let me put it this way. This is how the hoppers are in most of the farms. All the major industrial, really nice silos you usually see are full. all the corn cribs that you left standing up here down the old corn cribs car i care care breeding corn crib they're all full they're all full of years of corn that are sitting there now those are kind of those are closer uh... brian and they have to bring in the squirrels we started but here's the thing i do so much natural food with the abundance we had this spring with this fall the animals are not really suffering out there in the field In fact, those apples you see hanging there, a lot of them are going to fall, the deer know where to go, they get into a cycle, they know where all of this stuff is. The deer, the rabbits, the squirrels, the chipmunks, the possums, they're eating like pigs. But here's the balance on that. They had all the food they needed, they were fat, they're all fat. Everything we've seen. We've had very little roadkill. Now the reason you don't have roadkill, we normally would have more if it's a really bad winter. Guys, the animals will move because they need to go hunt down food. But they're not having to move from their normal patrol areas or their normal, you know, control habitat areas where they stay, where they, you know, they stay out their territory. There's so much food to eat. Everything just cranked out in mass. They got a good fat layer before the season ever hit and we didn't get any really bad cold other than normal fall and normal winter. Okay? So the critters right now aren't decimated except that like, you know, we've got a golf course here and they want to kill their deer for, you know, they don't just stay there. season while you and I would be shot, assaulted by the DNR. We need to get some of the deer. They want to hunt out a season. And they're hurting the golf course. They're not hurting the golf course. They're having interest in the golf course, especially this year. So it's all BS. That's just so that they can feed some more deer off the shelf. And if you went out to do it, the kill, the kill, and the king's deer. But the golf course, where they have money, oh, left little fingers up in the air. They'll be able to kill all the deer they want to. Oh my goodness. And they hunt out the deer. Marksman to do that read that their buddies who come in to shoot deer I always love how they had the propaganda go along with that. We're hiring marksman Oh and I'm confident you guys got money for your bud Special beyond all the rest of their regular hunters out here who have happy treated is evil because there you come to give them a fake title Come up with a wick and all of a sudden there's something else. Okay, what would official title? So anyway, we're doing fine here secured because of wind but we've got snow and that creates weight. So you got to be careful there and some things that you figure okay they should be hitting pounds when you have you know snow laying on it guys and this year a lot of people weren't ready for that or weren't paying attention because they aren't necessarily to the environment. So they're learning and it's part of the learning curve thing and it's not crisis and disaster and you know the help with naming these snow storms giving these they're giving snow storms names now so you make it make you feel like they're tornadoes or hurricanes. I survived snow storms, mid-lap, and mid-lap's cousin Blassenstein and his other cousin Bloomberg and all the rest of the filth. Those are the dirty storms, the filthy dirty storms. Anyway, just past the end to me, because first of all, the public pool system, kids don't go outside. You've got the video game mentality. You've got all the other stuff that's being plugged in. So everybody's now terrified of the environment. You know what's funny about this, and this is conditioning, it's all reinforced, reinforced, reinforced, if it isn't, you know, and first you gotta remember how you do this with conditioning too psychologically. Well you tell everybody global warming's coming. Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Global warming! Oh yeah, I'm gonna take me about the shorts in the middle of winter. You will, trust me, oh yeah, we know everything, yeah. Well meanwhile everybody started buying this, they're just like, this is so hot, it's so warm, I'm warm all the time during the winter. But it's freezing. Well then all of a sudden it's like, oh, but then we have, oh my god, aren't you really freezing now? Isn't this a disaster? You're in a temperate environment and the weather changes and you're supposed to panic! Did you hear that? What happened? I called it a cold front. Snowball is a mini arctic vortex grenade upon contact with the skin. All chips of flesh, ice, shattering glinter of P of G Entertainment. Snowballs anymore. Not art. Hello drama. And don't forget, the arctic vortex and the next of the rose scab and the other star was the big one. We had a really great drug season. But on the other hand, we always complained about, let's see, couple things. Cabin fever and getting wet during the winter. how about you get your hairy hind end out there and rather use a snow blower, move the shovel a little bit. The blower is convenient, that's true it is, but you see one of the things we're always lamenting about is we go to the baby fat, we grow it, everybody does, I got seven, there's some right there, yeah. And you know what, it's around as much, but you know what, walk around the yard, actually do something that everybody, why are you shoveling all those sidewalks? You all gotta shovel sidewalks, did you go out and walk the neighborhood this week? Did you go out? After all, everybody could be in the shuttle to sidewalks, but nobody uses them. You notice that? Oh, maybe the mailman, but most of the mailman, like out where we are, driver in town, it's all in pods. You have to get out and go to all the different houses. They just go on pod and open a bunch of key boxes and put all one place. You don't see the mailman at your house. Have him forbid. He might actually know him and say hi and mail truck and away from the, you know, the people who have moved in, be mailman. Just something to think about there. You might want to move around a little bit more and ignore the propaganda. winter gear? Threw it all the way because of global warming! And they kept conditioning it to it over and over and so it had to be so hot. It's so hot. Did you know it's so hot? It's so hot. My god, look it got a little cold. See how they can do that. It's not a pendulum. It's just crazy now. It really is. Think about the psychology of this. This is psycho 101, guys. Manipulation through reinforced propaganda and then introduce an askew number. introduced, you know, and all of a sudden what should normal, it would be the normal cycle of life becomes the unique crisis and disaster cycle. Which, by the way, if you, there's a little article here that is done down, it's actually go to From the Trenches World Report, and it kind of ties right into this, because I know I snagged it for just the title, okay? When you planted a seed in the ground, you're at risk right off the bat. Oh, the risk farmer. You know what this means. Here's how this is going to work. Oh, and mitigation to climate change. Next place where the three-piece poor farmers, the New York farmers are going to like feces birds. They flip from one government scam to the next. This is the next feces bird government scam where they're going to flip to this one. Mitigation and climate change are designed to address fires, invasive pest floods and droughts that environmentalists deem products of climate change. Ah, keyword back here, environmentalists. So here's the other part about this. Where they want to get rid of an American farm group, who are small farmers and built to land up, they will regulate and destroy the water table. They will add invasive species that they dump themselves. More on that when we come back after the top of the hour here. And then they will drive the farmer off his land so the communist Chinese can get it for a song and a dance. All of a sudden the water will flow and the one fellow communist, read that environmentalist communist, will back up the internationalist coming in and growing and producing on the land that the other guy worked up.
