Mark Koernke discussed firearms inventory and pricing on January 24, 2014. The show focused on Classic Firearms' AK rifle sales, noting that the Saiga AK with 20-round magazines sold out and the thumbhole stock model moved to the bottom of the inventory page due to high demand. Koernke and Don analyzed the Yugo M70 AK with 10-round straight-feed magazines at $450 per rifle with 20 magazines included, calculating the effective rifle cost at approximately $350 when accounting for magazine value. The program also covered night vision technology pricing from Don's supplier, with first-generation gun sights at $400 and second-generation models around $1,300. Discussion shifted to .50 caliber rifles, including Barrett semi-automatics priced at $10,999 on sale, with Koernke critiquing the pricing as inflated compared to original 1980s costs and recommending Watson's Weapons as a more affordable alternative. The show included commentary on government contracts, Mexican military Barrett distribution, and practical firearms training recommendations.

Distill the land of the free home this time for the intelligence report. We don't have mark yet But I think we've got Don there in the wings possibly Mark now too. Oh, but I'm... And good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. First hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I'm our krunky. Closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, southwest, and north. Well ladies and gentlemen, you were listening to us on... Liberty Tree Radio dot 4 mg dot com or on AM and FMI Earth Station, CP, BAYstations and alternate technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. We're on the homework network on the Eastern Seaboard from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico, headed to Louisiana to Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both Pitts 3rd and 5th and our friends in the recall state of Colorado. Good work guys. While you were holding the clipboards and the anti-gun people were trying to harass and do harm to you, we got all of their pictures, we got all of their names, you got all of their license plates. Found out who from the government was working with them. Whoa, heads up there kids. Congratulations, thumbs up on that one. Anyway, good work. We got them all and more. Now we know who's on our list. and they're expanding it twice. Kind of like Santa Claus only. Well, when the war starts, you've got to know who it is you're going after when they start coming after you. This is really a chuckle, especially some of the pictures and some of the photographs that the Colorado crews got. The passive element that's whose job it was to photograph and to videotape where these characters went. I.D.s, they got pictures, just clear as I'm looking straight at you, plus they've got all kinds of data based information, license plates, all of who they went to meet, where they met, the whole nine yards after they coordinated their attacks on these pro firearms individuals. Very good job and there's more coming in. Anyway, on the left coast where we have The State of Jefferson keep up the good work for all the rest of you men and women behind the lines in occupied territories all across the west coast. You guys are going to be in the thick of it. There ain't no doubt they're going to be putting the foreign troops on the ground there, so it won't be hard to figure out who to shoot. The ones that are wearing the foreign uniforms that are invading and the fools who are standing next to them stupid enough to think they can lick their arse and make brownie points. Get them both. Don, what is the day today, sir? Market is the 24th day of January, year of our Lord 2014. beautiful day here. I saw the sun once for just a little while in the morning. I think I mentioned it in the morning hour. Beyond that visibility has been sometimes like 12 yards, 14 yards at the very most. So 30 to 36 feet sometimes visibility. Sometimes it's a half a mile. It's one of those, you know, there's an old, old, if you ever find one of you guys, I'd trade, if you need a left foot, I'd trade my left foot, you know, a load stone, you can hold it up and look. through it at the sky and no matter how cloudy it is you can see the sun. Kind of legend aren't they Mark? Yeah otherwise this is classic northern European, north American, oh wait a minute all across the, we're high enough we're in that temperate belt where we get winter and we got winter. Yeah I'd sure like to see the sun. Couple things here real quick I was sorry about that run a little late but I got into an interesting thing here. You know guys we were talking about classic firearms this morning right down? Yep. Now, guys, I've tried several times to get through since I mentioned them on the air, and they have been just nonstop busy to the point where when I try to call back, they're still busy. When I try to call back, I think we might have made them a little busy, Don. The one rifle that we mentioned, they've sold out of. The Stava AK with the 20 round magazines, that's gone for the moment. I don't feel they'll re-stock it or even if they can. The thumbhole stock model has been moved from the top of the page all the way to the bottom of the first page where before it was right where you could quickly snag it and you know, hey, there you go. And I don't know why it was moved, except that I think the inventory is just as low. So let's buy them out. If you guys were trying to get through, that's the only thing that's slowing you down. The thumbhole stock model, there might be some left, there may not be any left. Here's the problem. I tried to call in Don and even right before the top of the hour, I was getting a response. I called way before. I called back and the number is no longer in service. What's going on there? I think that's rather interesting. I got told of a few other people and they tried the same thing. Lo and behold, the number was out of service for them too. We have email contacts in other ways. Yes, there is an email address and also a fax number too. I don't know, somebody should do a sonar ping. It could be any number of issues here, but I think they've been swamped with orders. The bad guys may also decide monitoring what's going on that they realize They were swamped with orders. Mark, your phone got struck by lightning? Yeah, yeah, winter lightning. Heavy thunderstorms were having right now on the east coast. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Lightning hasn't been a storm in 10 days. So interestingly enough, again, it's after 5 o'clock Eastern. They close at 5 Eastern. But we're not talking about, if you'd like to call, leave a message or whatever. No, no message, no nothing. The phone was out of service. and that's from the phone company and that doesn't come in from your phone. That came in from the phone company end guys. So there's the progression through the day. Several rings, no answer, well actually the answering machine or should say the auto machine, nope we got everybody busy, there's too many calls, you can't get in, call back later and then they did it again and then they did it again and tried it, I tried cell phone by the way, tried mobile. I did it again about a half an hour 40 minutes ago, did it again about half an hour ago offline. I've never had that happen. Granted, they'll always be busy. They have been. Plastic arms doesn't have a whole lot of bodies there, but they get pretty busy. They can, especially if they have something somebody wants. I think they were trying to sell product. You know what I mean, guys? I really do. I'm pretty sure they were trying to sell product. Well, I think you already answered this question, but they're still online. They're still offering product, right? Yeah, so the Internet's still up there, so it can for everybody that is. So it's not like they closed up shop, apparently, or... No, not in one day. And they've been around for quite some time, but it isn't. I don't mean to start any vicious rumors. That just came out. You know how done is, you guys. Yeah, it will be a good idea to pay attention to this. You get a great idea. www.classicfirearms.com. I'm doing this one, there we go, I've got one hand there. Put that into the chat room. The other end of speculation is maybe they got just so many phone calls today and they sold out hours and hours before the phone calls ended and they just decided we're just going to turn to an E-business. That way we don't have to answer the phone all the time for nothing. They had the phone company immediately shut it off. I don't know. Again, this is all speculation on Don's end here, but it makes me wonder. We've seen pressure on gun stores before when Rose was up with us years ago. There was a gun store in California. The ATF went in and talked to him one day, and about four days later they went in and talked to him. About four days later than that, they went in and shot him. different means or measures of pressure from the ATF. Again, this is speculation, but I'll go back. That was a Darryl. It was his first name in the California gun store. Darryl, I don't remember his last name, but Maggie Rose recounted that story. It makes me wonder. Okay, thank you. unless they're getting down in the inventory or they want to try and push or promote something and they'll put that at the top of the response heading. The big thing is you have bought up. Our people bought out at least one category of those rifles. Now, in a moment here, I'm going to find out if I can, did you guys sell out the difference? Because when you go to the page, if you look at it, beware, the picture is up, but when you tap the item, It will then have to pay attention. Well, of course, hopefully it's in the notations if they brought it up to date. And they have been keeping it up to date today because they've shown other rifles that went out of stock today. So I would think, in theory, let me double-check. Oh, they don't show it. OK. It says, available in stock. The thumbhole model is still available. It's the very bottom of the first page. Everybody was looking for it. It's now at the very bottom of the first page. The SEGA rifle is right above it. And then the Yugo M70 AK type auto N-PAP rifle. Low capacity mag. This is a 10 round straight inline mag. Some of you guys bought these years ago. Some people opened up the magazine well, which I said, it's not really necessary as long as you got tons of mags for it because back in the day There were pallets of the mags. The mags came in, they were fairly cheap actually because it was one of those China moments when the communist Chinese stuff came in. The market had opened up with regard to full capacity mags, so these mags were like, hmm, this sort of rifle was like an orphan for a little bit. Well, everybody grabbed them up, loved them, and everybody picked them up, nobody got rid of them. So the question today, which is the only reason I really wanted to call and talk to them, is whether or not they had a palette of mags. Because they got 20 mags per rifle, which is really cool. Getting 20 mags per rifle is a great start, but if you can buy more mags, you buy more mags. And you might have one of those rifles from the past that uses the same magazine, and you need more magazines. Oh, that's right. So that was another reason. These are a 10 round straight inline. Again, 10 shot looks like a baby, it looks like a baby, a mini banana mag. It's only 10 rounds long. And what makes it longer is that it is stacked one on top of the other. It's not a staggered magazine. It's not like the little five rounders that came in well with Chinese AKs. Remember those? Those are the hunting magazines. That's not what these are. These are a straight inline mag. So they actually provide good training. The rifles themselves are standard Hugo AKs. There is nothing to write home about there. It is a Model 70. If we can get these thumb holds out of there, that would be a good thing. If anybody can confirm or deny that they had spare magazines beyond the 20 that you get per rifle, you get the rifle and 20 of these 10 round mags for $450. Basically, we will figure $5 a mag is what I guess they are charging. Maybe they are charging a little less, maybe they are charging more. I don't know. But you figure that if it is $5 a mag and you take the 20 mags off the price of the rifle, then it is really $350 for that AK, making it one of the cheapest AKs out there. See how that works? Now, are they charging maybe more for the mags? Most likely. But five dollars would be reasonable three would be nicer. That's what they charged before when they came in, but this is the year 2014 Not not three or four years ago, okay? Just something to think about so we'll check to see if they have its classic firearms dot-com classic firearms dot-com scroll down to the Go to long guns and scroll down to the bottom of the first page now. It was right at the top done it was quick to find and in fact, it's interesting that the Standard AK pistol grip model for 450 was at the middle of the page and I mentioned both of those and Apparently we just took a big alligator bite out of the whole inventory, which is cool. That's that's a positive thing Of course, everybody goes to the page. There's other things they're gonna see they like Yes classic arms does sell they got rifles by the case If you want to buy a 510 program in one box, they sell moist and they got by the case So y'all might want to think about that one's kind of fun and that gives you the after a little better on shipping Don't it? Yeah, shipping's all in one lump and you know, everything's taken care of a one big, you know, collect boom boom and you're done one big nod Yeah, and again, you'd check out their page. They've got those listed They list the nagats, you know again by themselves, you know as far as in the bulk category Which is pretty cool. So if you're looking for a big pile of nagat rifles That's one of the things that they do specialize in. Okay, they have a whenever they get them built that kind of keeps his paperwork simple to he just make sure he's got them tagged for each crate and knows what's in there. And that's not hard because that's how he receives them guys. So let's see what they're actually asking right now is like, no, Mark, you mentioned it. Do they have them? Yeah, well, I know they do. I just got to find out here what their present they got prices. And again, this is quartermaster Friday, by the way, so For all you guys looking to find quartermaster solutions, hopefully we're giving you some ideas here. Price, $2,500 per crate. There you go. So if you've got a bunch of people or one person who's got some money burning a hole in their pocket, probably not a whole lot of money. It's the M91-30 rifle straight from the crate. There are what looks like one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, it looks like ten at least to a crate. No, it's 20, forgive me, that makes more sense. Oh, that answers my question. Yeah, that makes it a lot more palatable to a pocketbook. And that's I believe with the bayonets, the other goodies are with the rifle. Let's see, 20 rifles per crate. Let's see, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Oh, we've got two arsenal rifles mixed in. It's a mix of 98s. It's a mix of model 91s. and apparently some of the select that they normally pull are in there. They don't even go through the crate, guys. Whatever's in the crate is in the crate. And if you want pictures, they got pictures on the page. And if you want 760 by 54R, they got lots of 762 by 54R. So there's your combination right there. It would be a good idea to pick up perhaps a few of those when the time comes if you got the resources. And it is a solution, guys. Yes, we know that. Well, that's one of the things we will stress again. That is a 10 round inline magazine rifle for everybody out there who is looking at those. We understand that they are. That's what I'm emphasizing. Rather than putting your regular AK on the training line for familiarization, this is a great way to have a training rifle slash also still a combat rifle. I'll kill you dead, dead, dead with this AK with an SKS capacity magazine. And I wouldn't change it out. If I got 10 or 12 of these things, some people would progressively change them out, but I wouldn't change all of them out because you have too many mags. And at a given point, you're going to find out that if you have a lot of something, it would be a good idea to have something to put it in like that. So a percentage of them would still stay. And in fact, it's point defense weapons, security weapons, vehicle operator weapons, medical support personnel weapons, that kind of thing. They are not primary combat troops but these rifles are more than effective enough for personal defense. They can also be built up into mini dragonuffs although I wish they would offer the RPK version. Anyway, enough on that, classicfirearms.com, classicfirearms.com, go to the long gun section and then scroll down to the very bottom. It was at the very top of the page, now at the very bottom, the other one that we mentioned this morning with the standard pistol grip, the Hogue type pistol grip, those are gone. Another point to be made before we move away from that rifle. How many magazines did you get? Twenty. Twenty. That's an illustrious number. If someone were clever, that went to the guy who was the machinist who was not working all the time, or two of your magazines to your buddy who is a fabricator. Mark, that's 7.62x39. Oh yes, these are all 6'2 x 39'. When a drum feeds, be it an AK or SK drum, doesn't it eventually stack to single stack, doesn't it? No, they're still staggered. It just zips off the top. It comes together. It's eventually going to be feeding one round. One would, with some imagination and maybe sacrificing, or rather, there's a better word for it. spending one or two of those twenty, you might even gain a drum magazine under that. That would be worth the effort, wouldn't it? Another thing is, well here's the thing about this design. The magazine from front to rear is identical to a standard AK and locks in the exact same way. Oh, no kidding! All you did was open the rear. I thought it was a real narrow magazine. Oh, it is. No, no, it is. From front to rear, it's the same length though. From the trigger to the, towards the barrel, the width of the length of the magazine is the same. The width of the magazine is narrow. But here's what people have been doing and I personally wouldn't do it. I could get 20 magazines. Why? But a lot of guys are buying these because this would be a cheap solution to get a standard magazine AK. All you do is break out the Dremel tool and open up the magazine well down below. The connector is the same, the pivot is the same, everything is there. The external wall is the same thickness. Yeah, all they did was open it up to the width of a regular AK. Centered left and right. They did these and I assume the U-Go's are doing this as another wave. Somebody had a whole bunch of junk laying around and they probably did. Or maybe they decided that because of the market and the way it's going with a lot of these. that this was a safer way to perhaps hopefully get into markets where you could only have 10 rounds in your AK block, which is what they were built for before. So whatever the issue, for a lot of other places where you were looking for an inexpensive AK solution, this is it. Like I said, if you figure there's 20 mags and if it was $5 per mag, then it's a $350 AK with 20 extra magazines. Which is pretty cool. So because it's a $450 weapon out of the box as is. There is no other alternate on a magazine for that gun right now though? No, and I wouldn't really worry about it. It was a bastard wet rifle slash an orphan about 10 years ago when they came up with these. Actually, they came in and made from Romania and made from Bulgaria. Now the Romanians sold out pretty quick. The Bulgarians came in but they didn't have as many magazines built. The rifles sold out first, then a whole pile of magazines came in separately. But then the magazines all sold out and then the rifles came in with no magazines. And Centerfire had the last of those, they were kind of dogging on them for the last three years or so. But if you remember they had them on Centerfire Systems' page, the same basic rifle, made in Bulgaria, single stack, 10 round mag, looks like a little baby AK mag. It's just a straight line mag, like a P-38 or an Astra or the old Smith & Wesson Model 39s. or like any little pocket pistols. This is a straight AK mag, just in line, one round after another. It doesn't stagger back and forth. So it's about the mags, about the thickness of your index finger. That's how big they are. They're very convenient. One of the cool things is, again, for training purposes, control, as we said earlier about training. It's only a 10 round mag, but it's more enough to get you what you need if you were pointing it at somebody. But for training purposes, it also limits the capacity of the weapon so that if the person gets a little excitable or something, you're all set. You've got control. Well, that limited capacity also requires a magazine change sooner, getting one used to that faster than emptying a 30-round magazine. Yup. Three times as fast as a matter of fact. And there's no difference in how the magazine operates. To engage and disengage the mag, it's identical. And remember, since the round is the same length when you put your hand around the mag where your thumb rests on the mag release and where you pivot with the front of your hand, the size of that grip that you're going to make to move the mag is the same. Front to rear. Think about that. From trigger guard towards the end of the barrel, guys, the length of the gun. When you're grabbing that mag, you're going to release, drop, or release, pocket, or dump bag. Grab the next mag, introduce, lock, tap, and then work the action, and pop, pop, pop, pop. Of course, with a 10 round mag, I wouldn't be, you know, you can, you get really good at it. Changing mags is not a big deal. But again, it has the scope rail on it. It will take night vision or it will take daylight scopes without any problem. Both the pistol grip model and the thumb hole model. Now the pistol grip model, the standard AK configured, is gone. Those are sold out for the moment. And I don't know if they're going to get more. I could get a chance to talk to them. In the thumb hole stock, I actually prefer that model. But a lot of people obviously thought, hey, you mentioned that pistol grip model. I'll grab that one. And everybody did. So they're gone. The thumbhole stock model is the classic standard bridge type connection that they made because everybody was evil to have a regular AK stock but it was okay to have a thumbhole stock, remember? So that's where that came from. But it does make for a stronger AK stock, too, guys. That's why I prefer it. It makes for a stronger support base with regard to the weapon itself. Because I got a whole box full of busted AK stocks. You know, after training with the AKs for so much in the field, I would have to say I have 11 standard beaver board laminate butt stocks for regular AK-47s. That's not too bad considering how many weapons we had in the field and a couple of them we changed out simply because they were stressed but they weren't broken completely. But they looked funky sitting there in a strange angle on the rifle so they were taken off and replaced with another stock back when we could get stocks for $3 apiece. You know, click, click, done. What's the big deal? See how that works? So, again, it's personal choice, flavor choice as far as the weapon goes itself. But I highly recommend we clear them out because definitely it's worthwhile for all of you out there looking at it. Anyway, we're just passing the body of Merit down. Before we go any farther, night vision technology. You have it. People need it. How can we get ahold of you? What do you have available? And what are we looking at? Price Rangers. It's been a price change. Well, thank you, Mark. Chronologically there, the phone number is 231-796-8458. I know it's old fashioned technology, you know, a telephone. But hey, if you want to talk, my number is 231-796-8458. You get, you know, to the best of my ability, an instant response. We can talk about next in order of request there was what do you have. First generation gun sight. We've got a second generation gun sight. Both will hold up to .308 recoil. The price change brings that first generation gun sight to $400 right in your mailbox. Now that's $29 off of what it was last year I'm happy to say and when my price comes down, your price comes down. I still haven't studied the I haven't looked mark guy I can't tell you what the price will be directly on the second generation gun sight but it'll be in the neighborhood of thirteen hundred dollars and that'll include delivery as mentioned on the first generation gun site that includes delivery and both are 308 capable now goggles we could talk about thermal you know be it a handheld or a gun sight We could talk about monoculars, a single tube green screen, starlight, night vision. But if you want prices or if you want to know performance capabilities, what will this do? Or is there anything like it and another on and on? Give me a call. My number is 2317968458231, 7968458. Thank you, Mark. And of course that means that if you need night vision technology deal with Don while you're dealing with a stranger When you can be dealing with a friend so give him a call here and find out what's available We could go on top of your weapon We're dealing with a lot of nighttime out there about half the day every day plus or minus depending on the season and where you are on the planet So we're gonna make sure we do take care of the problem. Whatever does it shows up? It's gonna be ours. We're going to eliminate it as an issue By the way in the chat room, yeah, yeah, you know another little thing somebody posted there Atlantic Firearms has got a sale going on on the Barrett 107A1s, you know, that's the Summa Auto Barrett guys was $11,299 sale price today $10,999 and zero zero cents. Well now yeah, it's like, ooh, we're running out and buying one of those cars now. Yeah. They are cool, but do you know what gets me about this does anybody remember what the sticker price for the Barrett coming out of the box was When they first introduced it just over five thousand wasn't it? Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, 1,600 back in the 80s. Remember when RoboCop came out? Just before RoboCop came out, remember that movie? You might recall they had the Vulcan 20. Well, go back and look at the old RoboCop and pay attention. The rifles that they are running around with are Barrett semi-auto 50s. That's what they used as the prop gun for that movie. That's what made them famous. Hold on for just a second, the big thing here is they shouldn't be. I'm waiting for my Heathkit Canon to arrive so I can put it together. It would be a lot cheaper. I already have my microwave energy gun built. Actually, it would be faster to get that one done. The Barrett is not a bad idea. In fact, the only thing is, and I would point out, When Barrett first came up with his 50, he showed up. The only place he was really displaying it was at the Express Gun Shows. The Ohio Valley Gun Collectors Association, which originally was in Columbus, Ohio, he had designed the gun and he showed up with the first model, the first of the 500 and the 5, I want any one of the shows he'd have one or the other of the first 500 that he built. Of course, it had the boy's .50 caliber compensator on it instead of later his design because he did use a lot of off-the-shelf parts. The idea was to use off-the-shelf parts to get the thing going. It was his own design, but it was about $1,600 to $1,700 and guys, he was making a profit. Now he's into modern CNC production. This weapon should have halved in price. from He would be going just in reverse. He would be making a Chevy version of this if somehow there was something special that I missed that made it so unique. The Barrett is a crude and rude. It's well machined, it's well finished. But it's a crude and rude, big blown up version of a crosswind AR with a little bit of AK influence. It's the first thing that comes to mind when you look at it. Originally when people were doing articles on it they would have a copy of the AR-15 A1 or A2, typically the A2 when it first came out because they looked a little closer. So you wanted an AR-15 on steroids, right? That's how everybody looked at it and went, wow! Of course it has an M16 pistol grip, those are cheap and off the shelf. The idea of everything else was stock steel. It's designed for the most part to be off the shelf materials and then all you do is sculpt the metal that you need that's raw to do all the critical components. Granted the barrels have, I'm sure, improved. But remember we had a discussion on this I think Don two years ago. A couple of the guys came up, there were 50 shooters and they said that basically other than whatever Barrett does to internally re-engineer certain components, they've taken the Barrett for accuracy pretty much as far as it can go. Well, if you want to bear it, it builds more, you're right about that. That's like trying to acurize a 1911. People have done it over the years and they've gotten some small groups out of it, but it comes to about running it into the wall. You're not going to get much smaller unless you continue to tighten things up until perhaps a gun doesn't function. Now, if the gun doesn't function as a semi-auto, well, you might think it's like a bolt gun. Ronnie builds bolt guns too and by their inherent nature, bolt guns are more accurate than semi-autos. If you want to shoot the dinky groups, you guys. Now, let's talk about application here real quick. I don't want to dwell on this a long time, but moving vehicles, it's pretty hard to neutralize a moving vehicle even with a .50 caliber. If you're shooting at it with a bolt gun, you go bang, bring it to target, bang. Bring it to target bang maybe and now you're hoping your spotters telling you've got three hits in that duration With a semi-auto gun in about every third one being a tracer perhaps. That's just off the bang bang and you know You've got one of them in there to help you correct for aim So the right tool for the right job now, I'm told that they use that semi-auto Barrett destroying mines ordinance destruction is the word. That's a broad brush, ordinance destruction, because that could be a pile of artillery shells also, couldn't it? I'm told they use it to dispatch individual mines, Mark, at great range just for... Handoff, yeah, for standoff. Yeah, she went right on top of it when it goes. Exactly. Well, the thing about this again, too, is that As you pointed out, it's a matter of how many bolt guns can I get in service for the price of $11,000. The other thing is, here's the problem, Barrett has government contracts. He doesn't just have Barrett contracts with the US government. I'll point out again for anybody who hasn't seen this, you always see these pictures, we captured this stuff from the drug lords and everybody sees a Barrett 50 caliber and they think, oh yeah, well that may have come from the US, which of course it did. It did come from the US but not before it went to the Mexican military. Now for anybody who wants to understand what I'm saying, go to, and this is why I keep repeating for a reason, so I reinforce it, teach other people this too. go to Mexican military on parade and you can even qualify with dash Mexico City but there you typically the search will get you that for images go to Google there they got all kinds of punk junk on there course you also get naked ladies people picking their nose if you put Mexican military on parade you get pictures of brunettes you'll get pictures of somebody scratching your arse has nothing to do with Mexican military on parade but it's a Google search and that's what you should expect from Google nowadays However, you will get a lot of the pictures. I'm okay. That wasn't me. That wasn't you either, right? We're good. Sorry, guys. As long as you're still alive. Yeah. Okay. But anyway, point is, if you go to Mexican Military on Parade, guys, punch it up. You will find pictures of whole formations, company strength formations, 100 plus men. They are all carrying Barrett semi-automatic rifles. Fine gun it is. And they are all Mexican military. That's what they look like to me. They are specially painted up. They are special berets. They are special uniforms. They are grandiose Mexican flag flying for Libertad. There is more legions of them. But obviously some of them walked out the back door with the Barrett's. A whole bunch. Yeah, a whole bunch. So the fact of the matter is that there are a lot of these that have walked away. And that's down in Mexico. That's south of the border. So when you see those pictures, every so often, if at all possible. They do the big display of Del Grando where, oh, look at all the guns we found. What about the pile of money? Well, most of the money we stole, but we put cardboard boxes in the middle and then stacked the few few bumbles we allowed the government to get. The rest went back to our cartel. Oh, did I say that? Yeah. So they always do a stack it and propaganda thing. And there's always a couple of berets. And everybody should understand those didn't come from up here directly. Those came from the Mexican military. That's how they got them. They are all over the country and all over the planet. Barrett has a market. He is like a lot of other companies. When things are good, he snubs and ignores the average American market because we are all just peasants. When the market gets tight and they are not killing people in four different countries, Or they don't have a war going on for the moment. It's like MRE dealers when I used to deal with them wholesale. When the business is great, they don't even know your name. They don't even want to talk to you. Then all of a sudden you get this call, hi, how you doing? We got MREs up up up. We got lots of MREs and we got a sale going. Boy, you want to know why? Because you see, they were seeing to the end of their nose, they kept riding the wave, riding the wave. not paying attention to the environment about where the wave settles on the beach. And they call back and all of a sudden your best friend said sliced white bread, oh hey, how you doing? But then all of a sudden another war gets going. And then they're like, who are you? I ain't got time for that. And they'll be all kinds of rotten. And there's a cycle of this that, you know when I was younger I still knew how to bite my lip and just okay, I remember that. And watch this cycle over and over again, guys. There it's kind of the same way Right now you go him. Yeah, you got other people that'll buy his gun See doesn't have to worry about it the US government pays the money But if all of a sudden the old you know pucker factor goes up and he's sucking lemons again Well, then all of a sudden hi guys. Hey look Remember me. Oh, we kind of love some of you know any of you got money Seriously oh, yeah Keep that in mind. You'll see it. Just be patient and watch. We've got a lot of good people building 50s out there and they do a fine job. We've got Watson's weapons, probably one of the best priced 50 cal that will go on top of an AR-15 receiver. Larry's got the cheapest entry level upper on the planet. He also has the entry level bolt 50 caliber on the planet. I've got his number here somewhere. I'll have it in just a moment. As long as he keeps cranking him out, that's where we need to be going for a 50, if that's what you're looking for. Yeah. That number is 952-472-1010. Call that 1010. Again, Larry Watson at Watson's Weapons, 952-1010. 10-952-47210. Tell them you heard it on the intelligence report please. There we go. So for everybody out there listening, you get an opportunity to check them out. Again, very user friendly, designed, but as a member of the 50 caliber shooters association, everybody, even Barrett is still obviously involved there. But it's the idea that you're talking to a person who's been doing this for a long, long time, which is very obvious. and will get you into the process of becoming part of the half inch club. And definitely that is useful. Now there's still 50 caliber available out there. In fact, more so than I think everybody expected to see in that there's new, it's mostly the M33 ball round that's out there right now. But there are still incendiary AP tracer. Actually the best combo for what Don was talking about for anti-vehicular would be incendiary tracer. The cool thing about that is impact, expansion, incineration and tracing still. If you don't knock them down, you might burn them down. That's right. It's spitting in all directions. Especially if you're hitting something that's got some fuel splitter here and there, which is hopefully going to happen after a few rounds. The first round is punch the hole to get the leak and the air fuel mix going. Then that tracer incendiary helps to, shall we say, light the BIC, which is what it's all about. If it doesn't, don't worry, it's still a .50 caliber. Like you said, Don, it'll still just cut you in two like all the rest. Definitely worthwhile. The thing is, there are other semi-autos. The big issue there is that they're all pretty much pacing each other price-wise. So, they price themselves pretty well out of the average person's market. That's not an ag. That's something that's happened intentionally every so often. Well, let's talk about Ronnie's fortunes there for a moment. When he first started building a gun, Ronnie was a carpenter and he built it all in measurements where fractions of an inch and he had to pay somebody to to a blueprint and then to build the gun. He paid these people this and he bought barrels from other people and he contracted some people right down the road to stamp the portions of the body of the gun. You know how a Barrett fits together. It's pinned together. It seems to fold onto itself like a clamshell. You might look around. Just punch up Viper, 50 caliber. It looks suspiciously like Ronnie's gun and it comes from right down the road where Ronnie builds his gun and it's been about what 30 years now and there they seem to be building Ronnie's gun all for themselves mark maybe some of the internals are different, but you know Instant karma is gonna get you perhaps. I don't I'm not big-grade in Ronnie at all don't get me wrong But man, you know you farm things out you let somebody have control of this and somebody have control of that and eventually you don't have a control of a whole lot And eventually, look, they're building your product. Look at the Viper, you guys. Yeah, it's virtually a clone. Yeah. They dropped it in the VAT, the CNC machine, and they hit some buttons. And lo and behold, they created another Franken-50. But it looks just like his. It's made right down the road for people who used to make parts for running. Yeah. Somebody did that to that guy in Florida too, that guy who promised us a 50 caliber to do a drawing here on the intelligence report, that Mark Serbu fellow. Somebody did that to him too. He hired in somebody and taught him how to build that upper and then that guy moved across the state and started building 50 caliber uppers. Mark Serbu will tell you to this day how much he hates that person. I just thought I'd mention that. If you get the time, just call Mark Serbu once in a while and ask him about that 50 for the intelligence report. Mark, I do that semi out of spite, but just out of responsibility too because I expect a man to stand up for what he has promised. I really do and that still sticks in my eye. It's been a long time, you guys. I must admit. While we're talking about certain manufacturers, I thought I'd bring that to your attention again. go Materials are mostly coming or China's steel so prices flat on that. What's changed? Other than the fact that the charge of the market will bear, I understand that part. But part of it is also probably a demand by the Fed to keep it priced away from the American people. As you get more government contracts and they rub elbows with each other, they have a tendency to become more aloof. and more, you know, all those peasants, you know, that kind of thing. That $11,000, that's a price of a neat Mustang or an older Corvette. Not a collector car, but an older Corvette. Or a whole lot of, let's see, well, that'll get me a whole bunch of nagot rifles. Actually, for $11,000, I could buy a case of nagot rifles, several cases of ammunition, I've got several take my pick of, not several, but I could buy a handful of AKs to back that up. One sniper rifle just to be safe and have ammunition for all, and mags. And a couple of vehicles to deliver the aforementioned articles. If I was smart I could go to the government option with $1000 and pick up what I need in the 5 tonner, or actually probably a 2.5, an older 2.5. And I'd be all set. I'd set a whole platoon or more diesel. Oh well for 10,000 if they were using the nagots and a few other rifles, yeah. Yeah, think about it. We just got $2,500 for a case of 20. So $5,000 for 40, that's a platoon. But I need some semi-auto guns and a few other things mixed in. So I'm going to spend another $1,000, $2,000 on stuff for, you know, just pick out something that's reasonably priced there. We need to buy some shotgun shells and give them to that guy who owns that semi-auto Barrett and give another few boxes. to the other guy who owns the semi-auto Barrett and tell him to go out and start shooting birds. Bunnies are secondary. Bunnies are moving targets, but they need to get acquainted with shooting things in the air rather quickly. If they're a rifleman, they need to move into that shotgun arena in order that they acquaint themselves with the swing of the gun. of something in the air that is never moving in the same angle anytime. That's one thing I love about shooting birds and rabbits. Every shot is different. The rabbit runs away at a different angle, hops different, the terrain is different, the bushes are, the bird flies away at a different angle, changes its path of flight. You need that familiarity if you're going to start to deploy a semi-auto 50 against three winged vehicles, against rapidly moving wheeled vehicles. You need that experience now. We've preached it for years. You've heard this only not in those exact words. Go out and learn to shoot that running rabbit or that rising bird that will help your combat experience on two dimensional ground also. But don't forget that even on the ground the combat is a three dimensional arena, isn't it? Why not use one of those long barrel punt guns if you're going to be familiarizing for using the big gun? Oh, you know, you're swinging more weight. You have that more of a heavier barrel and whatnot. You know, Ronnie's gun, I can hold that gun up. I've never fired that gun off hand. But my armolite, my AR-50, I can feel that gun is so long. It's a lot longer. There's a lot more leverage to it. It's not so much the weight. It's the leverage. But I would not want to fire that gun offhand. But Ronnie's gun, if need be, I could hold that gun up and fire it. I've seen a couple of my friends do that. When you're shooting at things in the air, if you're shooting at something in the air that's like at 20 degrees, half of 45 degrees, 22, 23 degrees up, he's probably farther out than a lot of your smaller arms would want to deal with or be effective at. By the time something even at lower levels you're shooting at it like 35 or 40 degrees into the air now You're really getting to the into the places where if you're hitting you can do damage But if you're not hitting he's just flying through the streaks isn't he? Yep, so again you guys we've talked about this we've We are right at the top but I don't want to cut this off. Eddie, let me run for a minute, please. If you have that semi-auto gun and you have a 30 power scope, there are 30 power scopes and 24 power. You can get that 16 power Nikonos or whatever it is, Nikonos, whatever. The gold ring doubled out to 32 or the 10 doubled out to 20. But man, you get such a narrow field of vision that if you want to start to think about shooting moving targets, you're looking at the target, not in your... When we talk about shooting stuff, you guys, you learn that lead on that bird. And as soon as you start to do that, you see that I can't do this with 14 or 22 power. I need like 3 power or 6 power. So I have that wider field of view. We've talked on different prices of scopes over the years and there are things that will do that for you, but we are at the top. We have to exit stage left. I yield to you Mark. Okay, let's do this. As always, bless the Republic, so the new world order shall prevail. We offer this dense nutrient-storeable food directly from the farm to your door.
