His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You vie permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the supreme law of the land. Preserve our great Republic and each God given right. And pray to God to keep the torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Still the land of the afternoon ladies and gentlemen, this is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I'm our kirky one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories West Southwest East and Northeast well ladies and gentlemen you were listening to us on Liberty Tree Radio dot 4 mg dot com Indiana Freedom Talk radio dot com. We're on AM and FM micro stations, C-Beat base stations and alternate technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. We're on the homework network, top of main, bottom of Florida, bottom of Florida, because of the Gulf of Mexico and Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both Pitt, 3rd and 5th and our friends in the recall state of Colorado. Turning to the left coast, we have of course the state of Jefferson, a shining point in otherwise a dark and abysmal land from Mexico all the way up to the Canadian border. And as we know, the California-Soviet socialist democracy being the leading point of detritism, demonstrative Idiocy, incompetence, failure. Yes, the sputum, the stench of Feinsteinism washing across the landscape in total disgust. Well, we turn from the occupied zone, not that we don't have a lot of chunks of real estate in country that are just as bad. Yes, sweep across the plains, leap over the burgeoning banks of the Mississippi and land on the Smokies slash the Blue Ridge where the restaurant crews, grammar teams, okay teams, and the Ma Bell Gram and Consortium of retired telecommunications workers bring us with a golden spike many hands make for light work a million petit goat junctions the ability to continue to function when everything else is offline. I'll tell you what it is gray it is a little cold and windy out there we got some very very light fine snow florries going on right now it is As we know, winter is also Monday, by the way, and it is the... no way it can't be already. Yes, it is. It's the 20th of January. It is the sixth year of open Fabian Socialist and Soviet Socialist occupation of America with a K-2014 Old Earth Calendar, or Mayan. Crazy Town, Crazy Town Calendar. That's right, Crazy Town! Yeah, the DJ is from the fast. Don't forget the Wolfman, if nothing else. Anyway, it is a little after 6 o'clock Eastern time, and it is gray outside, guys. The cold front that swept in has pretty well stayed about the same temperature. There's nothing that's a surprise out there. I would highly recommend a couple things right now. Big lots across the country, big lots, still has a bunch of Christmas items. We just picked up a bunch of Christmas LED lights for as little as 25 cents a string. Guys, you can't buy the LEDs for the price of what you paid for the whole package. 50 cents, 25 cents, I think the most expensive item we bought, we bought the last three that they had, were a very large, actually almost medium size, actually what is it, the large medium base, small or small base, Christmas bulbs. But they're plastic and they're LED. These things crank out a lot of light. They look really impressive and what's really going to be fun is you can make alternate lighting systems with them, hook up the lights and minimal burn, maximum end result with regard to the amount of illumination available. These are in the box the cheapest ones were a quarter of box and most expensive which there are many of those left at the particular those colored or clear colored and clear and so I highly recommend guys check out big lot because a lot of the stores they were sent with the corporation told them you know they had to eat and Christmas sales just weren't that great and they kind of over you know like we're over hopeful in their ordering however you want to look at it LED lighting I actually got a solar light for what was it a quarter, one of the spotlights, triple point spotlights with a flexible head. It was the last one, the absolute last one. But if you look around, depending on where you are, you're talking pennies on the tens of dollars right now. In fact, it's, well, 90% off you figured out. So you're saving 90 cents on every dollar for whatever the price tag is. And a lot of this stuff is like $2 an item or $5 an item to begin with. You're talking under $1 per unit. And in fact, you're talking 2 and 3 and 4 for $1. So, it's definitely worth picking up. They're palletized. Even the little mini bulb lighting is worth that at a quarter of a piece. I got six of these little light strings. I got like 60 bulbs on them. But the LED bulbs, the LED packs, they had like a topper pack or a mixtape, you know, like a countertop type, you know, flat base off quarter piece. So, couldn't beat them for the price and probably should have bought the rest that were there thinking about it because there aren't that many. The little ones for a quarter a piece, you can't buy the LEDs let alone the rest of the fixture for that. And these are the high intensity, high output LEDs, which is really cool. So they're very bright, very stable. And again, alternate lighting for tunnels, walkways, access areas where you're going to be doing, for instance, blackout. They come in clear, they come in color, they're in red, there's some in green. The green and the red would be great for blackout conditions for vestibules, where you're going to go from white light to red light to outdoor light. Be it daytime or nighttime, typically, obviously, during the day, you're just going to be blind until you adjust. But the blackout blankets should be hanging. Everything should be sealed so that you don't leak any white light. But your vestibular area, rather than just being black, can be red light. You can actually see what's going on. Green light will work the same way and so will blue. Red is still probably the best choice. But the other colors are there. Any number of different combinations might be left over in your particular big lot in your area, so you're definitely going to want to check it out. I love clearances, as they say. So I think you can all imagine how that works. Do we have any callers? I heard at least one voice. Yeah, this is Georgia Patriot. What do you got, Georgia Patriot? Go ahead. Well, last week, when I was on the call by, I would tell y'all he's okay. They finally, everything got powered back. and he's just waiting on them to finish so he can get ahold of PT to get them to do their part. And I went and did my ham cram and got my technicians. Oh, very good. Now, are you going to be working Saturday night or Wednesday night? Remember, you've got both. Wednesday night we have the Eagle and the Possum Net that are basically up. I've learned a lot of guys have already talked about this. And you can listen and talk if you don't have a license, just use common sense. But you've got a license, you're all set to run then. Right, and I got my 10 meter. I have my 10 meter, which is a NorStar Audio Shack. My 2 meter, it's a dual band. I don't know what the other one is, but it's a steering whatever. And then I have the Yazoo. and I'm also looking at another radio in the future. I'm going to have to save my pennies. I'm getting with two clubs so I can pick their brains. One I'm going to miss tomorrow night because that's the Newton County and the first Monday of every month is Butts County. Once I learn more I'll try to spread it out. One of the things to remember again, they're not the greatest pieces of equipment that are out there, but there is through deal extreme dot com In their own to actually it's interesting. They've got a separate section the item number four it was uh... Did you do a C? Www.deal extreme dot com cce-01a these are stereo micro FM transmitters but that's not all that they have they've got an alternate section in the deal extreme dot com page it covers a lot of other radio rigs and in fact even some yasoo show up there which i thought was rather interesting might want to check them out just to see what they have available and again uh... that's www dot deal extreme www dot deal extreme dot com. Now the reason I bring this up is something you just mentioned. If we're trying to bridge the technology guys, remember that for instance consumer electronics, let's see if it's in this area here, other consumer electronics. Go down to other consumer electronics. Yep, that is the section. and whatever you want to spend you can spend but there's a lot of other odds and ends transceivers and transmitters there. What I thought was interesting is for instance they've got a, and it's a more expensive one actually, but they've got a CZE15A 2 watt to 15 watt stereo FM audio transmitter with antenna. Now 15 watts is kickin' for a little out-of-the-box unit. Don't know how long to be able to run, don't know how reliable we're going to have to experiment with these, we're going to find out. But they do have some other yasus and other pieces of equipment in terms of 10 meter, 2 meter equipment, etc. So if you're looking for something that's a cheap stopgap, you might want to peruse their inventory of what they have available. They do have a lot of the other shortwave, shortwave with single sideband, etc. available. That is the other place to look for mic fixtures and such, although again, prices up and down on those. But we're definitely going to be going through the inventory here. We've actually got some samples that are already ordered of the micro FMs. And they list at least two or three handheld yasus right off the bat. Not just there, but also in the regular radio section. So if you go through and peruse the many dozens of pages available, you might find something that will fit your wallet that way too. Just in case, rather than having to wait and live with it for the moment while you save up your pennies and upgrade, then I wouldn't get rid of the other radio. I'd just have a standby. It's dealxtreme.com and then go up there at the top section it's consumer electronics. But then at the very far lower right hand corner it says other consumer electronics. See how it rolls. Scroll over to the second column and go all the way down to the bottom of it. Right at the bottom. It's a corner item and I didn't really pay attention. Somebody slapped me in the microphone on this and I started to look as I picked up some of the items because they're randomly advertised in other sections. But this is all the other cool stuff that most everybody out there listening would be interested in especially for building independent local Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi type system, but these are micro FM broadcasting units in fixture form. They're in basically the little we call a medium kit box. There are the quality of course quality of very to matter what we know depending on price, but price doesn't necessarily dictate that it's the best model You know it more expensive doesn't mean it's the best There's a couple that are about eighty some dollars apiece that are micro fan units that have about a five watt output There are others that have up to a 14 and 15 watt output Now, interestingly enough, lower output, but with a fancier box. The project box are stupid price, guys. Traditionally, the heavy gauge plastic cast was very common with a lot of project boxes. The more expensive or extruded aluminum tubing, or actually corrugated slash, they're actually waffled tubing designed to create a, obviously a heat sink. In other words, big radiator fins. Well, that's where the price comes in because those are not cheap. That's what I've always told everybody. I watch these people throwing all these old add-on boxes for computers. And the boxes are worth a fortune by themselves, and being $30, $40, and $50 apiece. Just for the box. It's mostly with a lot of the kits. What you paid for the stuff inside was surplus, you know, stuff that was industrial surplus and put together. So the mini radios, the mid-size handheld or carryable AM-FM shortwave radios are in there. Like I said, at the very top of the page, it's $212. One more expensive one is actually listed. It's a 2 watt to 15 watt stereo FM audio transmitter with antenna, quote unquote, for a car. Now... Well, the interesting thing is that by looking at the specs, let's see, LC power voltage DC 12 volt working current 3 amps, frequency range 87.5 to 108 megahertz, guys. Well, that's full FM range. Frequency stepping value, 100 kilohertz stabilized wave, PPL frequencies stability plus or minus 10 ppm minus 10 C plus 60 C modulation frequency offset 75 kilohertz 100% continual working noise wave harmonic wave blah blah blah blah blah say 50 dB audio frequency response 50 ohm RF output power 15 watts Warning, connect the transmitter to outdoor aluminum antenna not included before turning it on or it will be broken. Remember what I've said? At least somebody got smart and actually did this, guys. Connect the transmitter to outdoor aluminum antenna not included before turning it on or it will be broken. Now what that means is those have told you a million times, guys, if you put power on something, There is no line out and place for it to go. Trust me, it is kind of like a big tidal wave hitting a dam. Some place is going to fail and let the electricity pass through, so to speak, but not in the way you would think. In fact, what happens is one little part, just like that one old dam, just finally says, I can't do this anymore. That's all she wrote. What we need to remember is that again, These are this is a nice little unit for two hundred and twelve dollars It has a 15 watt output off of the antenna is what they're claiming now They're saying that the antenna is not included, but they show pictures of the antenna I see two pictures of the antenna I see we'll see what well, that's really strange because the I'm gonna tell you right now. They show the antenna arrays With the unit So, I'm going to, I don't know how we'd have to check on that because look at the picture. There's an actual little photo gallery there. It's the CZE15A 2 watt to 15 watt stereo FM audio transmitter with antenna for a car. So, it says it's got the antenna. Now, wait a minute. Then down below it says antenna not with C, antenna not included. We were open to see connect the transmitter out to aluminum antenna not included. Okay Well, the antenna says shows that it is included with the coax and everything. Okay, my day Martin's actually So, well, I can see the picture of it actually. They're showing the configuration right here with the dipoles and everything, which I think is really neat. If this thing is anywhere near serviceable, this would make for an awfully convenient piece of equipment to have around, guys. Go ahead, we've got another caller here. Jump in. Yeah, if you need a good antenna for these mobile devices, Mark, a real good source is truck stops. Yes, yeah. You know what I'm saying? They have those really cool uh... coral aluminum and tennis that will be a skit so happy now exactly what the thing is this package does show that it comes complete this is why there's some conflict here what they're saying in the body of it and what it actually shows you uh... in fact it provides coax power supply alternate wall power supply for building you know for being built you know in it being used indoors as it shows up a looks to me like an inverter box to go from a standard wall plug. In fact, it even has the plug sitting there. So the pictures they usually show you are pretty accurate. Everything we've seen, if it's in the image, it's available. So this shows the antennas. It shows you the transmitter, coax, nothing real super fancy and nothing that couldn't be upgraded very easily. I'd have to, again, take a look at one of these. I've seen some of the smaller ones. There are others. This is just one that jumped off because for $212, This is a self-contained micro FM station is what it comes down to. So for a lot of you guys out there that were looking for a solution, this is a solution. And there's a lot of them. And it's not just one. Now Ed did his original micro FM station with a less than a watt transmitter that went to a one watt amplifier, one watt exciter. Both of those came from Ramsey. And one watt guys reached many miles. In this case, we're looking at 5 watt, 7 watt, 10 watt, and 15 watt out of the box without any modifications and supposedly able to constantly run, and since it obviously could be used for data streaming, in this case, it can also be used for obvious purposes. Whatever little micro FM station you want to put up, and this is a nice modular package. Now, the only thing I would say, probably more chips and micro and flush face technology than we use. So, when it goes, it's gone. You're probably not a whole lot to be able to do for it. The big thing with most of the micro-FM's in this size range is they use a lot of programmable chips. But, for the price, and to get a micro-FM station up quick, you can't beat this. Now, I'd also say this about most of the 10 meter and other equipment I've seen that DealXtreme offers. Their prices are pretty good. And, you know, again, for what they are, I mean, it's a Yaesu. If you want to find out what that Yaesu model does, go to the internet and look up the Yaesu model that they're offering. You'll find pretty much all the data is available on it. Now, is it the, it's not the fanciest radio in the world, but it will work just fine. What would be the best? The antennas, everything though. Exactly. No, I agree. You're right on the money there. What would be the best height to put it for the most range? Huh? What would be the best height to put it? Oh more height as well with a micro FM more height is better remember you're not going to get Extreme range out the big thing is that you're what you're going to do is clean your signal up on your target area My FM drops off very quickly 10 meter of course different story and again It's a matter of power power in you get you know more signal out. That's true with any radio, but with FM It's a mushroom broadcast. Your biggest concern is how well can I fill the area inside the mushroom? See with a 1 watt FM, you're going to have, you know, if you go inside you might, if you have steel beams or heavy plate steel or other kinds of reflective, you know, plain surfaces. then you might lose signal. So a lot of times when you're actually boosting power you're not like doubling, tripling, and quadrupling your range because you can limit that by again like as you pointed out with height and antenna and how you configure the antenna. Now the big thing is that when you go to a greater output if you don't want to go too much farther than you already are, the advantage is that you're going to permeate buildings and the signal is clean indoors. and that's a big plus. It doesn't mean you don't get a signal in buildings and such with even a smaller unit, but more energy means consistent signal without any interruptions, nothing passing in front of it and causing anybody to go, man, where'd my radio go? It's a big plus plus, so like these little 15 water here, these little units, which I'm going to have to check this out. I'm going to see what I can find out about this particular model if it looks like it's going to do the job. Right now an FM100 which doesn't have a 15 watt output, I think it's basically one watt out of the box, an FM100 is running up around $250 to $300 depending on which way you buy it. Sounds like it would be a better bet. One thing about these, if it's a 15 watt, it may not have the onboard synthesizer, which I'll almost guarantee this one does, but if it does, it has the onboard synthesizer, which the only thing is that you won't have any kenning. Things won't, you know, the signal won't vary if you've got any weather conditions. You aren't going to hear any cutting, and it sounds like my nose just plugged a little bit. That's not going to happen because the onboard synthesizer equalizes the signal. It rebalances everything as far as the sound quality goes. Beyond, of course, what you tweak with your plus, minus, you know, on a mixing board or whatever you've got handy, depending on how sophisticated you get. But out of the box, this thing with a regular mixing board, it probably worked quite well. And the neat thing is it also is mobile and I would point out that yeah without space you don't want to spend $200 they have a couple of FM's here that are running 84 87 right around there FM transceivers They got a 7 watt right here right down scroll down the first page Cze-7C 1 watt to 7 watt stereo FM transmitter set 85 59 Now the cool thing, these are all set up to be mobile guys, so you could make a nice little rat rig to actually complement the radio rigs you've already put together with a committed FM transmitter unit. Now this isn't a transceiver, but you don't really need a transceiver. Think about this. If you have a micro FM station like this and you broadcast one end, and I have a micro FM station from the other end and I transmit, Well, all I need to listen to both of them is for you to tune in a radio at your end, a car radio, and me to tune in a car radio at the other end, or a handheld Samsung or whatever radio I've got. And I've got the two pieces I need to listen and talk all day. Hey, that's all off the shelf junk. But this is a pretty strong little transmitter for seven water for 85, 59. Not bad. And again, it shows a mobile dipstick. It's got an extendable half a rabbit ear, guys. One rabbit ear, one side of the rabbit. There's not a full rabbit ear. It's just one monopole. And again, power adapter for the wall. So this can be used indoors. And everything basically in the package. Now, the thing that would change out is you'd get an external antenna and coax and take it outside the building. Which is what I would do. And that would be about 10 miles distance. Repeat repeat? The range on there would be about 10 miles. Oh I think so. I think this will, I think, let's put it this way, a 1 watt FM transmitter made by Ramsey that we put together for $39.95 was doing 11 miles in one direction, like 6-7 miles. The antenna that Ed put together was quite unique. But what's amazing is how well it worked considering how unique the antenna was because it was all improvised. He did that all on his own. And we had a pretty good idea of range by the emails we were getting because of people that were listening in and making requests. This is a 7 watt out of the box. I'll guarantee this is stronger and it's going to punch harder. 7, 10, 15 watts. Yeah, you're going to be able to easily reach, I'd say, 6 to 8 miles, 10 miles. The antenna configuration is just pointed out with height. You'll increase range a little bit. And again, remember, you also adjust the dipoles where they're located to change the pattern of your signal. You can turn that up on the mast. figure out what's going to best arrange your signal outbound so that it hits the main arteries, roads, or the whole encompasses the whole town if it's an odd shape. So there's all kinds of cool things you can do. But there's quite a battery of stuff in the FM range and I really wanted to bring this up and spend more time with today's as good a time as any. If you guys go through this you'll find that there is just a massive amount of junk in that category that's all micro FM it's very reasonably priced a lot of the spyware is available here they've got a there's another one a CZE05B let's see 0.5 watts LCD front control monitor you know as far as you know for reading when you turn the dial you can read what it is you don't have to guess all of them are like that by the way it seems to be a feature I don't see why they wouldn't have it so dirt cheap $70 for a .5 watt. I'd spend a few dollars more and get that bigger one for only about another $11 or $12. Well, $14. Another $14 you've got yourself 7 watts. So it's a matter of how you want to tailor and engineer your signal depending on where you are. Some people don't want to go that far. A lot of our guys that do alternate technologies or Golden Spike don't want to get past their alliance borders. We don't want somebody else to pick up the signal. We don't care if anybody, we don't want anybody else involved. We just want our people involved. So that's another reason to pick an engineer, your output, and this is out of the box. If you want to spend more, you want to build bigger, you want to do something else with it, pick and choose depending on what they have off the shelf here. And it's... The only way I could go bigger is if I had people donate. Well, you know what for instance with a micro FM your coax would be the big thing. Well if you can you pick whatever transmitter you want here to experiment for under $100. Your coax, the big thing is keep that clean and armor it. But remember that if you've got any kind of banana master, if you've got any place where you could even set up off of an old windmill tower, a chimney, And you use a 15 or 20 foot piece iron pipe and then properly bolt that into place, you know, put with fixtures. That's probably going to be more than a height of a standard chimney. The big thing is make sure the chimney is pretty sturdy. The trick there is remember you can get a coupler and actually run parallel along the whole height of that chimney and fixture it in a couple of places so that it's got a little corner standoff and it's strapped to the chimney itself or it's strapped to the chimney end of the wall. as you work down because you're not going to be able to get completely around it down below but you can put a u-strap in there and you'd have a very stable platform to work from for your antenna. And even if we have a banana mast we usually take another 10 or well actually 10 to 15 to 20 foot is what we use but a 15 to 20 foot or even if all he had was a 10 foot piece of pipe that's eight more feet past the mast you're going to make. Because you go right up to the extension you possibly know the closest you can give yourself no more than no less than two feet of wiggle space as far as you know how much distance you're going to get or how far you're going to extend whatever piece of pipe you got. The longer the pipe the more you have to leave into the banana mask body. But you can extend that like say if you get a 20-footer you can go 15-16 feet comfortably. and that's a lot more height. Every foot adds to signal range. That is the truth. If you got somebody who's got an old, you know, tri-mask that's set up, even if you can get up to the top of that, what you do is work up another piece of iron pipe, put that into the fixture. Usually you've got brackets up above with even a holding bolt. You can do all your work. You can allow for your length for your coax. and then progressively work that mast up to maximum length, bolt it into place again, secure it, put a board across the base so even if the bolts slip or slide with wear and tear and motion from the wind. That big old 2x6 or 2x8 underneath that crosses a little bridge and is bolted in place ensures that the piece of pipe doesn't slide down through and take your antenna to Hades. Because that's another thing, always assume the worst, you won't be disappointed. A simple piece of 2x6 or 2x8 is a cross bridge. And what I do is I cut a little notch in about a quarter of the depth of the wood that matches up across the cross traps that make up each of the corners of the trimester as far as the cross trap bars go. And that way it rests comfortably and it won't slide around, it can't slide off, you know, bop bop you in the bean. Determine where the center is that's appropriate for the middle of the tri-mass. Cut a little hole in the top. Use a router, a hole router, and set your pipe right in the center of that. Simple solution. You put a cap on the base too if you want so that it's got something rigid to rest to. It's up to you. There's all kinds of neat things that can be done, but usually there's something laying around. Old windmill masts are really good. A lot of guys right now are people who are listening through. It's great camouflage. Most people, they see that the old quad base fan type windmills used to be water pumps. The old well houses make great micro FM stations because they're already set up right below the mass. And with another 20 footer of 10 footer, 15 footer worth of steel up above, you've actually got a pretty good little chunk of height there to work with for your micro FM or your micro AM. and it's self-contained nobody has to say you're making it, you're taking a broom in the house or whatever typically they're overgrown with a little bit of grapevine and probably rusty and you need a little tender loving care to put them back online not a big deal to put the old weld, the pump house down below in place and back online a lot of them are here in Michigan are made out of cement so you've got a nice, the only thing I've probably used plate replaced the glass usually that's all busted out nobody took care of it But you put some glass window back in, put some power to that if it doesn't already have it, and you've got your one tent running down below, and you'll do a fine job of putting a signal out from a mask like that. So just a matter of what you've got available, guys. Speaking of masks, back when I bought mine, I went to Radio Shack and ordered me a mask that was galvanized. loosened up and then you pull it out. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, that's what you use. Any of those will do. If you've got a source for big chunks of galvanized fence pole, you know, the horizontal, that can turn, you can turn that vertical and that'll work just fine. Go ahead. And okay, could I, this is something I was wondering, if I was to set up a, would that give me further range in that one? With, what are you talking about? Once I set up the proc cast or If you set up a micro FM station, typically you have your member your dipoles that run off on a tangent, you know, perpendicular to the vertical post. Okay. Yeah, that's what I just said. When you... on ham radio mass, like the one that we set up here that's a portable, we actually got a... it's like the control for a wheel, but it's welded right to the pole. And it, of course, floats on another piece of pipe stock and you can turn it and actually move the antenna up above to best suit propagation for the time being. With the FM transmitter antennas, the regular ones that are out there, you do the same thing. You can actually experiment and to a degree direct the signal, which is what I was talking about earlier. So, yeah, you can do that. The big thing is once you've got it where you want it, you don't want it to float. So the most important thing is make sure it stays where it's put. Because once people get used to it, this is the one thing a lot of people start listening, and it's not a customer base, your listener base. Amazingly enough, we'll notice when they turn on their radio and it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. So the big thing there is to make sure that you, again, clamp it and pin it. But the other, the nice thing about being able to experiment with that is every car has got a car radio, so just jump in your truck, jump in your car, point down a particular part of the road grid, map it out in advance and test at certain intersections and see how things, how the signal registers. You don't need to be broadcasting to the middle of the cornfield. But you may want to configure it so you go right through the middle of town, the east-west side, north-south side. But you may want to configure the signal so it goes down the main road, which is what a lot of our guys did here. And they were running, oh heck, with the way they reconfigured their antenna, which was a simple ground-based antenna, they were probably doing a good 13 miles. And that was completely up and down what was a major drive artery. So every morning everybody hears the Patriot Broadcasting and they hear it, a good portion of their drive, which is what you want. Because from here, at 20, the Covinton is roughly 7 miles. Yeah, you've got to figure that in that time traffic anywhere from 25 to 40 miles per hour during the winter, unless of course it's a main drag and might be doing 45 miles per hour. So you've got their attention for anywhere from 20 minutes to 30 minutes or more of their time in the car. Which of course if you notice how we do the blocks on the morning program every half hour there's a break. And typically we cover a number of subjects through that half hour block at least. And give enough information that they can at least get a clue about what we're talking about. If you know, Patriot Broadcasting really has the same format as any of the other parts of the industry in that respect right now, and that we pretty well imagine tit for tat anything that they do. Mark, what time is that morning broadcast? Our morning broadcast, I think Ed's carrying it on Liberty Tree Radio now and we're also on TheMicroEffect.com from 8 to 11, 8 in the morning. Said I do the programming from 8 in the morning until 11 a.m. Eastern time. And then we start, of course, the intel report in the afternoon from 5 until 7 for the two-hour block and then from 8 to 9 for the evening block. So eight to eleven everything central right? Eastern Standard Time Eastern Time Eastern okay? Yeah, all right so eight to eleven Eastern which means that out there a cami I they got to get up at five o'clock Whoo every morning? Yeah, but you see we decided on that for a reason because we wanted to do they wanted to do a kind of a morning You know drive program you know fit that window Although I'm much more obnoxious than the usual goofiness that's going to show up on you know your regular radio a little but not at the least you know what we have a lot of fun i mean research like the first rule like i said this morning you know we all have to learn to spit on our enemy we really do i i i give them no quite there i've given them no benefit of the doubt anymore they know exactly what they're doing even the dubious ones are out there no they're involved in crime against america now So, we have to treat them like that. Again, always look down and they do everything they can to spit on you. You better do everything you can to kick them in the face. And that's really how we should all know. Oh, no niceness. I can laugh at them. They hate it when I can smile while I'm doing it too. Because a long time ago I found that these characters take themselves oh so seriously but you're not supposed to. So, when you start doing to them what they do there, you know, he's ridiculed, you know, Saul Leonsky said, you're ridiculed. Well, how about if we just ridicule them nonstop and don't give up at all? Don't ever stop. Look at them as nothing but the dirt under your feet and the feces that needs to be wiped with the toilet paper of 30 caliber rounds. The best way to clean out the country, get rid of the diaper stain problem we got is, you know, 7.62x39, 30 out of 6, 30-30 Winchester and a whole bunch of other calibers in between. That'll settle it real quick. Before I forget this, do you know anything about the Antron 99? Beautiful, best Anton on the market. Why? Okay, for the price, for what it is, the 99. Let me put it this way. I got a 99 here that we've had for up for 20 years. It went down in the tornado and it was in the epicenter of the strike and it was in pieces. And we gradually dug the rubble down And the only thing that happened is the very tip exploded. And that's the only way to describe it. It's just fasting because they're fiberglass, right? Right. But if you have to, you can go to the truck stop and replace that final section. The standard inexpensive double whips, you know, the double, you know, like, mirror mount antennas are the same spec. You'll find that you can find if you go to a CB shop you can get as individual an individual replacement if you have to so they're very user friendly in that respect, but what's amazing to me is that that thing took the biggest hit the whole chimney came down from the second floor up and I thought it was gone to Oz and turned out it actually had gone down and what took the chunks out of the house were chunks of stuff from the neighbors, okay, and We had divots, you know, and it was the neighbors' divots that were caused, and the neighbors caused those divots. But the antenna went down with that, and I expected it just to be blasted. Amazingly enough, it took a lot of abuse, and it still works, because I already tested it. I had to replace the tip, but I had several of them here that I got as part of a... One of our friends got... One of our... a ham operator here locally passed away that had been doing ham and skeet shooting forever. And he had a whole garage full of stuff for radio. And the last of the stuff that hadn't been handed out, I got like a barrel of antenna parts. All brand new. Stuff he just kept collecting. And already it paid for itself just with the two parts that I used. That antenna radio tip was priceless. Do you know of anybody in this area or I'll even send it. I have a, you know, my North Star 10 meter. I need to send it out to get it back in spec. You know who might actually be a good choice is we have Michael in the morning who's working on the Kenwoods. Yeah, he is a detail man and right now he's focusing on Ken Woods But I'd be willing to bet if you talk to him and I forgive me up in fact Now let me do this hold on real quick. You might be in luck. I might have his contact information Right here at my fingertips. I'm supposed to but I just moved a bunch of stuff around here So I might have to dig it out later tonight at 8 o'clock uh... talk to him because if he doesn't work on himself you are and i'm sure you might be willing to you might be able to come to me that i think he should expand his mental capable his his mechanical capabilities in his mental know-how is his prowess is quite you know it is process developed with kenwood so i don't think you have a problem your rex be quite honest okay and it does detail working in the end It's basically the same thing as the Unidance. Right. Well, the thing is, here we go. I got it right here. Am I paying the right answer? Let's see if I do have, well, let's see. I have to double check to make sure that I can give this out over the air. But as soon as I can do that, I'll make an announcement because you listen on a regular basis, okay? Okay. I have a contact point, but I want to make sure I do write by him. I don't want to be, oh my god! Give him my phone number. Huh? No, no, I'll put his out of it. He needs to get more coverage anyway. Don't worry. When the time comes, I'll make sure you can contact him and pester him to no end, which is an appropriate process because he wants to be able to fix things. If he wants to make it a business, then it's his job to work at it. Not Mark's, nor yours. You're supposed to be the customer, remember? Right. And I also have my RadioShack Navajo. it down the bay for naket to get it set up now you know you're going to have all you would be but it's still the boxers that is the user new unit there was a huge unit abode for all cable you're not losing and don't mean enough i paid a hundred dollars to get uh... uh... back in operate okay well again five dollars is that the starter kit that we have got one of the truck right now that we're in the same boat with a gutter the delta radio tool post-world war two delta minutes It's really in nice shape for its age, but it's going to need to be cleaned. I don't think I got time, but we've got somebody who's a desk jockey and he will. When that rig's done, that's going to go to one of our radio trailers right away. In fact, it wouldn't probably work right now, but I hate causing problems with fuzziness and dirt and dust. Fix it up before you get going, and guys, it'll run like a top for you. Most important here is, as we pointed out again, at least like I said, I'll mention this, don't key anything up. If you find a radio or piece of equipment, if it's not hooked up to anything, people, you don't power it up. Especially don't touch the mic or again hit any transmit key until you've got some place for that power to go. Now there's a false load system that you can use all kinds of cool ways for bench testing that's used guys But you probably don't have that your fingertips So again, the basic rule is until you've got an antenna set up so you can run any number different your cbs 2 meters 10 meters 6 meter whatever you're doing as long as you have the rig so you know the the rig With a place for the output to go And again just for receiving is not a big deal. You're alone. You don't keep that mic You're not going to create problems that you're really gonna really really regret So until you've got a place for the energy to go, because that's what you're doing when you key up the mic, you're sending a signal down range. We want to make sure we don't create feedback, you know, problems and all kinds of energy build up and then we hear pop, pop, and then it smells like popcorn or it smells like somebody's soldering something, sir. Well, you didn't quite solder it, but you will be doing some soldering now. Which is something we don't want to see happen. Okay, so again common sense. By the way, these little micro FM transmitters are the same way even the ones we're talking about. These are transmitters, not receivers. These are sending signals out. So before we start doing anything with them, we make sure we read the instructions, hook up the antennas, apropos, and then go from there. And it'll work out just fine. I was looking on eBay for some military I'm Little trick by the way one of the best ways to make up a resilient bracket for say fitting on a Mobile truck or trailer or whatever if you're gonna do a table on board Save up the rubber bumpers that you see this fair from shock of the door again or if you're pulling Those are optimal. They're already set up with a little standoff or a flash washer the whole you know a big fender washer the whole nine yards and Also, they'll work really well. I hear the music we're gonna go to break. God bless the Republic. We shall prevail ladies and gentlemen the Empire is on the run. And we're on the march. very good. Well, I'll tell you what it is. Monday, Ed's taking over. We'll be back at 8 o'clock with Donna, myself. Nancy, of course, spilled in, and she did a great job at the show. She always does here. We'll have more. I think people would like to hear around here more often. We're going to make sure that happens, guys. Anyway, we'll be back in just a bit. Stay tuned for live LTR here. It's Monday. Bye-bye.
