The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. You vie permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torture freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each god-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep, and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free? And good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, this is the second hour. The afternoon intelligence report, I'm R. Well ladies and gentlemen you were listening to us on libertytreeradio.4mg.com we're on AML and FM micro stations, CB base stations and alternate technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska along with Indiana Freedom Talk Radio dot com. You guys are fighting behind enemy lines and you know it. Well, turning back to the east, we sweep across the plains and leap over the burgeoning banks of the Mississippi and land on the Smoky slash the Blue Ridge where the restaurant crews, grandma teams, okay teams, and the Ma Bell Grammar Consortium of retired telecommunications workers bring us the Golden Spike. Many hands make for light work a million petticoat junction operators. The ability to continue to function when everything else is offline. It is a beautiful gray winter day. It has been all day. It got a little brighter towards the afternoon. A little more sunshine, which is fantastic. But we are looking at a winter day, so be careful. Now all that melt we had during the day is turning into a freeze. So pay attention to what's going on out there. Be careful on the road. And remember that it was wet today. It's freezing and slippery tonight. We are, of course, Looking at Friday, it is the 17th of January. It is the sixth year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K2014 old earth calendar or Mayan crazy town crazy town calendar. and there is a lot of other stuff going on around the country is quartermaster friday by the way so we're going to touch on a few things again here i will reinforce that hk mag information in a minute that was sent out as an email and hopefully it's reflected on the page But it was an email notice that I got the information on the mags about. Also they have 7.62x39 Romanian. It's actually I think the only ammunition that Royal Tiger imports carries guys. Anyway let's start from the beginning and we will go to www.royaltigerimports.com royal tiger imports dot com really posted the site are in the chat room there thank you guys again that's w w w dot royal tiger imports dot com royal tiger imports dot com now this is why i've emphasize the h k ninety one right now is the rifle to buy uh... i love the m fourteen i was trained in the m fourteen i could uh... taken make that weapon do things that people say you can't do but that's nothing that's fancy so much as the idea that we were trained to use our weapon to maximum range and everybody was a belly gunner back in the day rather than spraying and praying. So contrary to popular belief you really can reach past 200 yards and you really will have more energy down range with a .30 caliber bullet and the M14 is a fine rifle as is without cobbling and chopping it or doing anything to it. With iron sights that weapon will sing as is. It doesn't need to be modified, altered, changed, shortened or anything. In other words, save your money and put it into mags because the mags are expensive now for the M1A, okay, for the M14. So save your money. Leave the rifle the way it's supposed to be and put your money into all the other things you're going to need to keep the rifle functioning. That's what you should be doing. Buy a Chevy. Make sure the Chevy runs. You know, that way the Chevy don't take a chit, okay? Chevy take a chit. If you don't know what that's from, take a look at the... Yeah, it's a Michigan movie that was done, guys. Anyway, for everybody out there, again, RoyalTigerImport.com, with an S, RoyalTigerImport.com. That's G3HK91 magazine, 20 round alloy. If you buy 100 at a time, it's $1.49 per magazine, okay? That's $149 for 100 mags. and their aluminum. They're lightweight, they're easy to ship so you shouldn't have any problem doing that. Again, bulk order $100 for $1.49 per magazine. And I would recommend if you're going to buy a PTR 91 HK knockoff of any kind, I don't care what it is if it's .308, for $1.49 you aren't going to buy 100 mags. I'd say you're crazy not to because for what you're spending and all the other stuff that's out there that's going on, guys, the HK91 mags, these are military. These are not aftermarket mags. These are not Korean-made product mags. I don't have a problem with the Korean mags, but this is German quality. Yes, they're aluminum. Don't listen to any BS. The aluminum mags work just fine. The idea here is right off the bat you've got some firepower. I wouldn't want to drop my steel mags. Let's put it this way. If I need to make a breakout bag, or I want to put a whole bunch of firepower into something I might have to drop or abandon, How about I take $100 of these $1.49 mags and... BUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBububububububububububububububububububububububububub Now, actually, if you have a certain HK, here's the kicker I've been trying to explain. Guys, if you want to make a collector's item more valuable, you start matching things up. All of these German HK mags are dated and they are serial numbered and they're confirmed for factory that they came from. You can read it right on the side of the magazine. Now, if you have a late model HK91 that came in before the 68 gun ban, Then you might want to match up for the year of production the month in the year of production Guess what you buy a hundred mags you'll probably have ten mags that match up to the rifle or five mags at least More or less and if you buy another hundred you could do that again But if you're smart you'll collect the mags that match by date the rifle you have on the shelf and that makes the rifle that much more Collectible because it's all matching by year factory and production production point guys. Come on think about it So, something to think about, you know, something that's a consideration for UHK collectors, most guys have not thought this through. You can match it up purely date and time to the rifle, you know, forgive me, month and year. So, again, that's RoyalTigerImport.com, RoyalTigerImport.com. I personally don't care what data's on it. I just want lots and lots and lots of mags so I can dump lots and lots and lots of rounds down range. Of course, I'm going to be accurate about it, but when I need to do some volume fire, I actually have some magazines in there ready to roll. I don't have to reload the five mags I could barely afford. Instead, I've got 100 magazines, and I can load up a combat set real quick and have another backup set ready and on standby, even another rig. or in bags, in tote bags, you know, like utility engineer bags or in bandoliers or whatever I want to do. So that's why the HK's are the most affordable. The rifle's running $850 to about $999.99, about $1,000. And for that reason, again, The M14s are running that price for a little more for the average rifle out there right now. They've been up and down the scale. But even if the M1A was the same price, which again, that would be the clinchers that, man, I like the M1A. But the HK91s, the PTR91s are American made. They will take all the German and all the other second market parts from all the other subcontractors out there and these mags slap right into that rifle. So it ain't the razor, it's the blades that save you money because I can buy 100 magazines for the price of what typically I would pay for about three and a half to four mags. Now I can get some aftermarket Korean mags right now from and they're on sale at CenterfireSystems.com for $13 apiece. But since these are $1.49 and those are $13 a piece you do the math and figure it out. Oh, that's right. I can buy a little I can buy nine of these mags for the price of one of those mags. Oh, wait a minute that makes this still pretty for a while. Yeah, that's right because well, let's see $1.49 10 would be $14.90, right? So if I could buy 9, that'd be like, yeah, wait a minute. I can have a lot more magazines than their military mags and they're ready to roll into my HK91 right there on the spot. Now, the .308 ammunition, it's going to be the same price no matter which rifle you buy. So the math formula right now is purely the mags and this is the price I was talking about. This is what you want. So again, one more time, RoyalTigerImport.com G3HK91 Magazine 20 Round Alloy. The SKU number is HK910003. Bulk order of $100 for $1.49 per mag. OK. There you go. Came up with a solution. Everybody knows where to look and what you're going to be spending. How's that sound? Pretty good, I think. So, let's see what else have we got. The HK mags, we got you on that track now, so we're happy there. Pretty good article here. NSA official, we are now a police state. This is an article that is also posted in the chatroom, by the way. cnsnews.com, the right news dot right now. NSA official, we are now a police state. This is dated December 19, 2013, so this is last year slash last month. Most important are the classroom sheets that are posted there because it explains how they are perjured themselves and how they violate the law and coach each other too. This is something we've been talking about for a long time. Take the time and read this article. In fact, I'm going to go through the little list here. This is how they coach each other. Rules of SOD. Utilization of SOD cannot be revealed or discussed. In other words, don't let the peasants know they're illegally collecting this data. And they're illegally using it. Investigative reports and files. Affidavit US attorneys, state attorneys, court proceedings, state and local officials and task forces. Oh, and foreign counterparts. So right off the bat again, how can they slide these in the back door? How are they going to use them on you? Okay, number one. Now, the other part about this is again the idea that, well, what will they say? What would they do? How would they get away with this? Well, the other half of the classroom sheet gives a direct explanation. Parallel construction is the use of normal investigative techniques to recreate the information. In other words, lie and claim that you did and put it down on paper. It's a lie. Parallel construction is the use of normal investigative techniques, as far as what's on paper, to create the information provided by SOD. Sepeda domestic telephone tolls, field interviews, defendant debriefs, request foreign tolls or subscriber info via the Attache office-MLAT. In other words, fabricate. So for everybody out there, it's kind of you know, wondering that well how do these things like this is basically classroom slide and also it's in a workbook that they'll turn page by page and They'll coach them. What do we said before? How is it these characters all say the same thing stop resisting stop resisting? Stop resisting the characters that are up at the Homeland Security End all are trying to figure out how to plug in their KGB type communist police state They have classes What you see in this article is part of the typical construct in these classes. How do you lie to the American people? How do you lie to the brain dead pro-Zacharic prodigies who will sit there dribbling at you and believe whatever BS comes or spews out of the auditorium called the television? Well, this is how they do it. So all this is a confirm of again what we've discussed over and over again about the way that the system actually works. Ignore the movies and the television, that's BS. In reality, you just understand mostly when their mouth is moving, they're lying. They might give you the right name, they might not, and that will be about it. Beyond that, when you see their mouth moving, you know they're lying. So in other words, illegitimately collected, illegitimately accessed, and then of course, well, legitimized through a lie, which means it's not legitimate at all but that's okay we'll remember that too and again that's why uh... the basic rule is how can you tell when they're lying it's when their mouth is moving now another one here that everybody's been posting in this uh... extraordinary crisis uh... needed to preserve new world order well of course they have been trying to plug more in but it's it's alternate signal communications and the fact that a lot of people are up to speed what's going on is prevented pretty much everything has been happening And that means that it's a little guy that's been doing the job of saving the country, guys. Remember that. The other thing, again, let's see what was the other part about? I want to touch on one more thing here. Actually, we're going to go into the direction of supply. Also, I mentioned CenterfireSystems.com. I want to remind everybody that I know that Centerfire may have already changed their format for the weekend. Let's see what happened. Yep, they have. The Korean mag thing is off the front page. free shipping with all accessories with orders over $99.99. Might want to take a look to see if they have anything that is useful. As a matter of fact, they do have some buys that are up on the front page that are part of just their normal inventory. And a couple of those things include something that I have not noticed that they had posted here. They have five AKSKS cleaning kits. Now these are the buttstock type storeable cleaning kits with the universal tool which really is the most valuable item there. But the universal cleaning kit goes in the buttstock, in the little buttstock hole, five for ten dollars, right there at the top of the page. Now they do also have the Korean mags, they're going for eight dollars a piece now, yes, up until midday they were going for seven. And of course they had a pretty good price on them. Also, if you're looking for, and this is, I believe these are Polish police, is what they probably are, Polish steel helmets. For $12.99 a piece, okay, they're used condition, but they're in pretty good shape, and these all come from Sturm, same company I was talking about earlier. Guys, if you're looking for helmets for $13, that's a good price. Even wholesale, they probably got a deal from Sturm on these. First of all, they're a bigger jobber than most of us are. But Sturm is offering these and these have enough of a role that a U.S. piss pot cover on these will work well or you can use the Kevlar helmet cover on them and they'll work. Either way, you can get a cover on these things pretty quick to match up anything that's American. Don't forget there are also Dutch and German camo covers out there. Since it has the metal lip, a lot of the East German camouflage hanger types, or they have little clips that allow the camouflage net to go over the whole of the helmet, those will fit on these. But that's right on the front page and it's item number S-0036. You can't miss it. Go to CenterFireSystems.com, CenterFireSystems.com, CenterFireSystems.com. Polish steel helmets. If they're selling them for $13, they probably got them for about $5. That's just the difference in wholesale. So right now if I were to check, yeah, I could probably get them for a pretty good price. The biggest thing is shipping on steel helmets. It's heavy. You start buying a lot of helmets, they're heavy. So the shipping price is what really bites you. So again, this is reasonable. $13 a piece. These are Polish helmets. You can re-camouflage them. Personally, I just leave them away there and put the helmet cover on them to camo them out. And that will settle real quick. Now remember that Euro steel helmets are sized. They'll go down to $53, $54, $55, which is tiny. 57, 58 and 59 are well, 57 is still small but 58, 59 is medium. 60, 61, 62 is for bigger heads. If you're going to be wearing any cold weather gear, try to, you know, again, get the bigger sizes. Size up accordingly. Don't let a person that takes a smaller helmet get a bigger helmet. Make sure that they, you again, if you're issuing them out or using them, make sure the right person is wearing the right helmet. And that's where supply and support comes in and Quartermaster has to do their job. fit these people because another person in line that needs a bigger helmet he can't put a 54 on without looking really goofy and really not offering him a whole lot of protection. So again for $13 this is the two items that are really jumping off the table here right now are they're on the front page of CenterFireSystems.com they have the again SKS AK cleaning kits five for ten dollars pretty good price and they have Polish steel helmets. Now these are used but I've seen typically they're like new they just got some ding stacked. They got stack damage is what they've got stack wear where they get roll around or moved around and they get a little bit of you know a little bit of motion on them guys. So for everybody out there take the time and go to CenterfireSystems.com CenterfireSystems.com CenterfireSystems.com scroll down to the very top of that page where the stuff is listed and you'll see a couple of pretty good buys here. The steel helmets will fit the niche for a lot of people who don't have any head protection or you may already have US helmets or German helmets in service. The cut and angle of these, typical for the Russian slash Eastern European helmet as such, that they'll pretty well blend in with everything else if you put a standard piss pot camouflage cover on them. Nobody will know the difference and from a distance they can't tell. Okay, just that simple. So experiment. Try to see it'll make it work for you. Now, a couple other things here and let's see, there was one other item. Sorry about that, guys. Oh, I'm going to also reinforce this from the middle of the week. It's Quartermaster Friday. Go to, first of all, go to KeepShooting.com. KeepShooting.com, KeepShooting.com. www.KeepShooting.com. We're almost at the bottom of the hour break. and we might have a caller so hold there for just a second. KeepShooting.com then go to military surplus slash you know collectibles. Tap that section and bring the whole page open. Now I'd go through each page if I were you because you might find something that fits equipment or gear that you've already been purchasing and you have to decide whether or not the price is right. However, we've been pointing out assault systems equipment that a lot of you guys typically going to use or would like to use or have already gotten a certain number of items in service. Woodland camouflage. The French and Italian have both embraced CCE camo or CCE type. They call it, well the newer one is still with the Italians is called vegetata. Basically it's a woodland but it's a more intricate woodland. There are woodland issued uniforms both to the French and the Italians that are coming out of surplus. Right now, French camouflage vest. Now this is a plate carrier vest for $20. Very straightforward, got a lot of pouches, pretty cool system, but for $20 it is a base system that you can improve upon. Take a look at it and see if it will suit your needs. Now this vest is available in Woodland camouflage slash CCE. and it's available in the three-color French desert CCE type which by the way looks like our US three-color desert so if you've got three-color desert and you want to match more that up there you go if you want woodland camo and a lot of you got woodland camo in service there you go and for twenty dollars a vest you can't go wrong you're not going to lose a penny on that however they got French heavy assault vests for forty dollars now these are designed with the crotch armor plate inserts the whole nine yards, lots of pockets. The problem is, and I did not get a chance to call them, I was going to do that today as a matter of fact, kick me in the hind end. But there are a number of pouches and pockets on this rig and for $40 if you're looking for a heavy assault, frontal assault rig or a point man rig or for a combat engineer or demolition, that's what this was designed for. You're going to armor up your specialized personnel a little bit more just to, you know, again increase survivability. Well, this is one of the solutions. So take a look at this. It's a French heavy assault vest. They're $40 apiece. You go to KeepShooting.com, KeepShooting.com, KeepShooting.com. Then go to Military Surplus. When you get to the Military Surplus section, you just click that. All of it will come up. Go to page 6 in Military Surplus and you'll find what we're talking about. There are a lot of other items. This also they have on sale. It's posted in the deals section and it's also posted in the general surplus section. It shows up several ways. If you go to page 5, they have the same Woodland CCE. It's a French Army Grenade Bandolier. All they did was they took seven two-pocket, Mali type pouches and put them on a German rigid combat belt that's a really good belt they're really good pouches and the total cost is five dollars for seven double pocket pouches and a belt uh... i'm gonna take these off put them on that assault rig that i just told you about or one of the other french uh... you know assault vest that they're showing here and i'll take that german utility belt building the something else But you're looking at $5 for a whole bunch of pouches you can put on this gear. So if you were looking to make a medical rig or a grenadiers rig, here's the opportunity for you to set the system up on the cheap. I highly recommend this because the equipment is good. It's not that old. They just went into CCE not that long ago. They have French tactical vests with extra pouches or pouches on them but they want $50 for that. It's a molly type pouch. If that's what you're into you can go that way personally. For a little less you can go in other directions and get a pretty decent solution that you can step into there guys. So just something to think about. The assault vest that they're selling that's French is a military package, it's not an aftermarket. And it does, they do have all of the back pockets and the backpack attached to the assault vest for 50. And it's woodland camel. The big thing is here, you can standardize on a pattern and complete the outfit on the cheap. Now, you can also go through many other suppliers. We've got Rap4.com, Rap4.com. They've got some very good buys, especially in their sales section right now. That's a totally different company. But this is, again, a solution for putting a lot of 510 equipment on the shelf. We're going into a war. We need to make sure we square our people away as best we can. And if at all possible, we're never going to extract. I try to direct you, if you've got East German you're committed to, a lot of units here have the East German splinter pattern. We've cleaned out whole inventories. I would point out that Keep Shooting has got a bunch of that stuff they got from Sturm. And there in fact are a whole bunch of unique pouches you won't find anywhere else that they've actually got. Some of these companies have done this. They've bought stuff up and they have the last of. Definitely worthwhile. So you might want to take a look at that. See what it is that they have in the inventory that might be useful. I would recommend that for instance the grenade pouches, there's a better source, Marspec you get more for less. Go to marspec.net, www.marspec.net, go down into their pouch section. They have like nine of those grenade pouches on a belt. Gee, it's the same thing I told you about on this page. For ridiculous price, comes like about a dollar an item or less. and that definitely is worth grabbing so that's another solution and it's a lot cheaper than buying individual pouches for about you know two dollars to three dollars apiece again watch for combos and watch for discount items that way you can outfit that many more people for that much less and have basic equipment now the grenade pouches some people ask a lot of grenade pouches well you might be carrying an M1 carbine or a grand and your D-clips are so tall and your M1 carbine mags are so tall if you pay attention to the depth of a grenade pouch. If it's a nice square body pouch on the inside which they are you make a plastic cardboard liner and you can stack your mags or your D-clips in there so you can easily grab them, you know, cut it out accordingly and those grenade pouches offer a solution for a lot of you guys with the smaller mags or shorter systems so that you can still use the MOLLE gear. all that's why we're doing that anyway i pay what we're a little bit of a offer to do about the our break uh... i'll wait for a second just in case because i thought we were going to that's okay anyway for everybody out there it is friday and we might have caused we have anybody uh... standby star six on yourself of course there we go call your dinner we got but yes yeah i hate uh... always in about yeah go ahead and uh... I had looked at the, I think it's LRB, the forged receiver, and they were saying that the, and since I have, kind of using it as a parts kit and putting it together with the better, but they told me I needed, if I was gonna do that, I also needed another barrel. What's the, having to need it? Why do you want this rifle? You have not worked? Oh, it works great. Leave it the way it is. Why would you change it? I've told you that before. I mean, we were talking about, I mean, there was a discussion about the quality of the receivers. Yeah, and it was at the end of the discussion somebody pointed out, it's like hey it works, it's just not as you know, again, what the lifespan is is going to vary depending upon what it was made and who made it. But if it's functioning right now, I wouldn't take that gun apart. Let me put it this way. You know the Chinese brought in a bunch of those. They made M14s back when they started bringing China support stuff in. Remember that? Polytech and the Rinko. Both of them did. Now both of them had their unique problems because they were made to China spec. But I would point out, why do you think they were able to bring them into the country so quick? Did they just decide to start making M14s? You want to know why? Well, what was the primary weapon years ago and still is carried a lot in Taiwan? The M14. They carry the M14 which is where all those Taiwanese mags came from about five, six years ago and they had them on sale for like $8 a piece and everybody should have bought all that they could get because they were only $8 a piece and they were Taiwanese military mags made on US military spec tooling. And they were Taiwanese military mags and I don't have any problem with Taiwanese military mags because the Taiwan government kicks butt takes name and has to fight for its life. Okay. Well, remember that if you want to infiltrate, you've got to look like the bad guys that you're trying to infiltrate against. And if you're the communist Chinese and you might want to go in and visit say Taiwan, you have to look the part. So yeah, they didn't make a great copy. In fact, it was a pretty crude copy by comparison to our standards. But On the other hand, if you were going to provide individuals who were communist resistors inside, say, Taiwan, and you wanted to provide them with weapons that would be standard to what the other side has, you might want to provide them either with battlefield pickups, which you only have so many of, or you'd want to make new rifles. And that's why when they brought those in, they were already cranking out an M14 for communist Chinese, you know, surreptitious activities. And they built a rifle that works. It's like if you were to rate like like Volkswagens. If you were to rate the Chinese M14, it's basically like having something built in Mexico with a Volkswagen. The Mexican parts are the last thing you choose for Volkswagen parts, but they work. They barely work and sometimes you don't work at all. Well, the same is true with the M14's main communist China. Now the stuff made here Even Fed Ord, which made an infusion cast receiver, we have built a bunch of those. We used whatever receivers we get our hands on. In fact, we even re-welded TRW receivers together when the parts were still available and have made a whole bunch of re-welded rifles. I mean, I would say we over- I helped 600 of them. We have a gentleman right now he's listening and he was an armorer in the army, came out of service because he was building match rifles at the end of his career for the army. And him and another guy got together and all these M14 kits came in, they were TRW kits, we gave the rifles to the Israelis and as is always the case for those skanks, they sold them back to us. Well they sold them back as parts kits for $125 a piece. So we were scrambling for any receivers we could find. Now the Fed Ord receivers are not pretty receivers, but they are functional receivers. Your rifle is a functional weapon. As long as it's not doing anything strange, I would stick with that weapon for the time being as is. If anything ever does go bad with that receiver, needless to say, then you do have a whole bunch of spare parts laying there. But I wouldn't do anything to change that weapon at all right now. other than the fact like I said, in fact any rifle, if you're right now, I know everybody's got all these really neat ideas, the shot show is showing everybody, like you know, for instance they showed us the new BAR, you know, guys, kids come up with making a new BAR and it's got all the short cropped, you know, you know, crop nonsense, which I don't go along with at all, only because again, the short barrel, I'm gonna have a short barrel, really, well all these guys are going to Afghanistan, all these guys are going to places where, you know, you can see a whole hell of a lot farther than you can shoot, So, being able to shoot farther and straighter and longer in all directions is really a good idea. So, shortening anything is stupid. I'm sorry, it's just how it works. Now, if I was going to go door to door, you know, if I'm going to be kicking indoors to confiscate guns, wait a minute, that's the only reason we have urban warfare and all these countries are going into, is to practice doing there what they plan on doing to us here. Well, when the time comes, if you want a short gun like that, you shoot the buggers, come through the door, kill every last one of them, and all your buddies help out with that. And if you need assault weapons that are short, you don't build anything like that yourself. Right now, you build battlefield supremacy weapons. And longer is better, because that's more energy, greater range. Now, your M14 M1A rifle is perfect as is. The only thing you need to do is more mags, more ammunition, and spare parts. And that's like we said, the op rod. You're better off spending money on the op rod. If you do get another receiver, I'd start collecting parts and building another rifle. See, that's all there is to it. Are you really in a hurry to build another rifle? Not right now, but I do. So what you do is be, so there you go. So what you can do is you can be patient and go, man, I don't have a lot of money, but the first three things that are most important in my M14 project is a receiver, number one. A barrel, number two. An op rod, and I'll be quite honest, I would buy the op rod before I buy the bolt nowadays because bolts are easier to find than op rods. Understand what I'm saying? If I were buying a kit and I can only spend $80 to $100 or $200 at a time, because you're talking about spending some money on an M14 nowadays. On M1A. Well, if I was going to do that, I'd buy the op rod first because it's the harder of the two to produce. There are fewer out there. They've always in recent times because everybody did start buying up spare operas. They didn't get busted up and cut up and chopped up. They're out there waiting with a whole army of M14s waiting to go to war against the New World Order click. There are so many M1A's out there that I can't you know that we were built from every part that used to be at the gun show. Does everybody think all those gun parts that were at the gun shows got cut up and chopped up and sent to the kiln? You know, can you picture that? Oh, I went and I spent $500 on all these parts. Oh, I'm tired of doing that. I'm gonna go throw them in the scrap metal bin. Oh, that didn't happen, kids. You all know people going to the gun shows are usually serious, so just figure out if you see one gun show, how many gun shows take place in the US? How many parts dealers have there been? How many parts have they gone through? How many receivers have they gone through? How many people have walked through the door with stuff they brought back from Vietnam or Korea or brought back from the army and they got a whole pile of it to box and somebody said, I'll take that. Well, how much you give me? I'll give you $600 for everything in the box. Of course, it's maybe $1,000 or $2,000 or $5,000 worth of parts, but the guy's going to get $600. He feels happy. And all those M14 parts go to somebody who tonight is going to go, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, ee, Because when you saw those guns stacked like cordwood and they were all piled up all over the place and they all disappeared Well, what did the government come in and take them or did we go in and take them? See so the same is true with parts and pieces. They didn't incinerate. They didn't go anywhere They just got put on rifles and the bad guys. They don't even want their rank and file idiots to think about this you know for every one that the lame knuckle draggers might build we've built a hundred and I don't even want to think about how many ar-15s we've built We would have sessions. In fact, what we would do is we had, it's kind of like all these young kids are doing build meetups now where they're doing AKs and ARs. Guys, we've been doing this for decades. It was M1As and it was FNFALs, then ARs overlapped that because there were a bunch of Colt kits that came in back in the, remember in the 80s, and they even had the barrels. So for $127 from Sarco, you could buy a complete kit with everything except the lower receiver. The lower receivers were running $75 a piece back in the day. $75 to $79 was the average price. In fact, you could buy brand new 45 frames for about the same price. $75 fully machined and there was no registering them because if there isn't a barrel and a slide on the frame, The frame is sold over the counter until they mixed up on the law. When they sold a handgun frame by itself, it was registered as, it was papered on a 4473 as a rifle. Which means there's no background check, no nothing. All you did was sold the frame and then you were supposed to bring it back in for its quote unquote safety inspection here in Michigan. Do you know how many tens and tens of thousands of 45s are bought that way? And ain't nobody brought them back for any safety inspection. Seriously. stainless, steel, blued steel, whatever. The same is true with your M1A there. Now, systematically, the nice thing about building up or having spare parts, you've already got a complete M1A. If you build up the parts and anything happens where those parts are needed, well you've got the spare parts you need for the rifle, but progressively you can build up everything you need to put a second rifle in service. By would point something out, you need to have go-no-go gauges, and yes, you're going to be tuning the barrel to that receiver because it's the old system, the way it's head-spaced. So when you're tuning the barrel to the receiver and you're going to be trimming, tightening and trimming, and then backing off, tightening, doing the go no go and backing it off and then doing some more trimming, it's all done. It's a lapping process. And I can't explain it on the radio here, but if you do a little investigative research, you'll find out what I'm talking about when you're mounting a barrel on a conventional or slash traditional receiver. One of the advantages of the Air 15 is that you can slop them together in about, oh, I should be able to do one in about 40 minutes. I could do that 40 minutes pretty much with my eyes closed now. And that's because of the nature of the design, the way Stoner put it together. It's pretty well a happy gun when it comes to being done in garage armories. Whereas the M1A, the M1 Garand and all of the traditional weapons in that category like FN49 even requires a little more patience depending on whether it's a threaded or pinned barrel system. And most of the earlier weapons used a threaded barrel. Mausers are the same way, but the cool thing is like the Nagat rifle there's so many K98s out there that so many guys have learned to build K98s I don't do that, but we've got people that that's all they do We've taken piles of receivers we got from one person. We've taken piles of parts they've taken off of military weapons to sporterize because we got them for free. And round up a bunch of barrels and our gentlemen will have 60 to 70 to 80 K98 Mausers put back online in .308 or 8mm Mauser and they'll look just like they came from the factory, properly head spaced, back setting the barrels are a little tired we back set the crown. so that they're tightened right back up and they will kill you dead, dead, dead. But again, when you're dealing with a threaded barrel, those aren't pinned barrels, those are threaded barrels and you need the go no go gauge, that's a single purchase, once you got it it's yours forever. And then you also need to understand how you're going to set the barrel to the receiver. And the M14 is the same way, so you've got to be able, there's a little more patience involved with that. So again, that's why I recommend certain other weapons for projects. The M14 is if you don't have a bunch of people supporting you or somebody who has done an M14 before, it's going to be a little more work for you to put the final rifle together. You're going to probably need a little assistance from somebody else if you haven't done it before. The AR-15 on the other hand is a home project gun. Hell yeah, you can crank those out all day. The AK is a potato spud gun. Well, come on guys, you go a Warsaw built it. They bent metal in any direction you can imagine and tolerances are quite forgiving and the AK can be built in a home garage shop real, real quick. With half the barrels pinned, some of the barrels, depending on the kit, threaded. Personally, I'd go with the pinned barrels for speed and production. The pinned barrel systems. And that's simply because again, Most affordable, most forgiving, quickest and easiest to get into service. So that's from the Cadillac down to the Chevy's. And again, concentrate in your case, more magazines. By the way, did you catch, oh, it's already off. I mentioned it during the last couple of days. Centrifier systems had M1A mags for $13 for the Korean ones. Oh yeah, I didn't get that. Yeah, I'll have to look that up. They may still have them. I don't know. I didn't go deep into their ad for the weekend. They had all their Korean mags marked down a little bit. They've been doing that. That's the only sale they've really had that's been significant. But again, buy more mags. I know that otherwise you're looking at U.S. military mags for $22 to $30 apiece. They're really not coming down and they're not going to because they don't have to. There's enough people with money that will walk out and won't think twice about what they figure what they got to spend is what they got to spend and that's what's kept the price high and the American quality, you know American TRW quality is what they were looking for so personal choice, but I wouldn't do I wouldn't do anything significantly change your rifle I would just stick with it the way it is It's running working like a typewriter. Just keep it happy and do what you're supposed to do to keep it clean and lubed right? Nope Right. And keep an eye on your op rod. By the way, keep an eye on your op rod. Another thing, when you are breaking down your weapon, be patient. Learn to break it down. Your op rod at the end should be sharp. Are you familiar with that? Sharp as far as the op rod. Well, it's actually, the whole of the op rod is an intricate piece of equipment to begin with. But inside, where it actually travels in the gas system, The end of that up rod will actually be if you feel the edge of it actually is sharp You want to pay attention and watch for chips and dings Now you probably don't know Repeat it goes over the the the opera guy No, I'm talking about the end of the op rod itself, where it actually is in the gas system. Not the charging handle end, we're talking about the operating end inside the gas system. Right, that's what I'm talking about, yeah. Yeah, that area is, again, you want to keep that clean, you want to make sure you keep it carbon free. Don't go beaten on it or anything. Remember again, use number four if you've got like an oxidation problem, number four steel wool, and a lubricant. Never do anything dry to that. Okay, always use a lubricant. That is a shiny piece of finished metal for a reason and it needs to be properly maintained. But that is the most common, like on all gas guns, it seems like everybody figures dusting down the bolt. I know you're better than that, but a lot of people think just dusting down the bolt. I've bought thousands of M1 carbines for 60, 70 dollars a piece for years because somebody is, I'm tired of this thing, it doesn't work. I said, have you cleaned it properly? Yeah, I cleaned it. You don't need to tell me what to do. Oh, okay, I'll shut up. and take it home and open up the stock and there's so much gunk inside it looks like it's you know badly carbonized leaking 67 Chevy carburetor okay it just like gunked up and it's like all you got to do is get all that carbon off there and clean up that little tappet and amazingly enough it runs like a sewing machine again and the same is true with all gas operated rifles typically people have not been properly trained with regard to maintenance on the individual weapons. And this is also true of civilian weapons. And I brought this up before and I'll bring it up again intentionally. A lot of you guys may have inherited dad's semi-automatic Remington from the 50s or early 60s, mostly from the 50s. Guys, the front gas system is so commonly abused on those because people did not do proper maintenance that there were virtually as many spare gas assemblies made for that as there were actual rifles. And that was one of the guaranteed armorers like Paola Jobs because people would fire the weapon up. The gas system of course is metal on metal. The system would be put in the end with a they wipe down the gun on the outside clean out the area where the bolt is and then throw the rifle in the closet. Next year they try to use it all guns locked up. Well what happened is that bare metal on metal surface that's machined would be oxidized, corroded. Because it wasn't properly maintained and you'd have to take the whole assembly off the rifle and replace it Well, it's about $58 per part $58 back when $58 meant something in the 60s, you know what I mean? So it was a chunk of change but it was a great thing for the for the armorers and for the gunsmiths because it was almost guaranteed income That's why Remington changed their rifle design Because people kind of got fed up with it started walking away from Remington for that reason back in the day So the rifles are out there, they are good rifles, they're incredibly accurate weapons, but you need to know how to maintain them. And everybody needs to do the research. Find out more about the weapons in your inventory. Another thing real quick on that M14. Oh, there's a... A couple of different solutions for covering the front sights or covering the flash hider for weatherization purposes. Look around, a couple of the companies have the plastic muzzle caps. We didn't use them all the time, but for storage purposes in the field, you don't have to worry about it. You fire the first round, it'll come right off the end of that weapon. You don't want to do that because you want to save it. But that is something that would be recommended especially since we're looking at the kind of weather that we are. You may be fighting in all seasons and it's a cheapie item. You should get it for pennies, maybe a dollar. And it's definitely worth having. They make them for the M16. Most of them got tossed real quick. The Air 15 family too. But they are handy. And again, if you're thinking ahead and patient, they're not going to be a problem. Just make sure you get the black ones or the brown ones. Try not to get a red one or an orange one. Look at that orange thing popping around in the woods there. I wonder what that is. Well, it's not part of the woods, so let's shoot it. What about the clear ones, or kind of opaque ones? Yeah, the clear ones are fine. You can also just take a little bit of spray paint and when they need more spray paint, paint them again. That's the basic rule. Even if I had to fore-awing the orange ones or the red ones, spray paint them. They'll paint a lock on them for a while. When it chips off, paint them again. But the big thing there is that moisture, you know, there's a couple things we're going to have to get used to. When we get into a war here, Henry posted an excellent article, and I mentioned this yesterday. It's way back in the scroll now, guys. But I highly recommend that everybody read it. And the reason is the fact that it has to do with combat operations and deployment over in Iraq for Desert Dust Part II, the adventure continues. And it reinforces what I tried to explain to everybody about parts availability, failure in supply, etc. Now, on our side, remember that we are blessed with a bounty that is not going to last. Petroleum and oil lubricants are one of those. And in order to maintain a clean mower, we can't douse things. Get used to the idea that when you see military instruction on how to clean things that you follow that process It was designed to be conservative for a reason Because supply is not going to be where you want it however I would remind everybody of a couple of tricks of the trade if I'm in a wreck zone And I don't have lubricant for weapons and such and I know that it's not going to be pretty but it'll work Guys how many wrecked vehicles are laying around? All you do is take that multi-tool we were talking about, or a nice wrench, and you crank open the plug on a frag motor, and you've got yourself so many quarts of not so pretty oil sometimes, but at least it's oil. Don't forget that if you need a solvent for cleaning up the weapon, there's probably a transmission laying under there too that's an automatic. Now remember you better wipe that down and clean that off. You've got to make sure that you use the rags that are in the car in the wreckage. You know, bodies have clothes on them. There's going to be stuff laying around. Make sure that you pick up stuff while you can and be selective because you're going to need it later and you'll need it progressively. But the weapon is going to keep you alive. Proper weapons maintenance. And you want to make sure that especially since, well, it looks like we are right now in Michigan here, we've got snow. That means moisture. Even though the snow appears to be melting, half of what happens is the snow is vaporizing and going back into the air and increasing the humidity. Humidity kills metal. Moisture. Moisture is H2O, right? Well, that oxygen component creates oxidation. So all the bare metal surfaces or wear surfaces will rust. If at all possible, get something in the way of a replacement lubricant on there to create a vapor barrier between the metal and the environment. I don't know if you've seen some of the pictures of some of these troops in Somalia that are around the area of Somalia with the AKs that look like they were one step away from a rusted muffler. It looks like they've been sandblasting you actually the metal is just shining on us. You know what I mean? I mean metal rusted is, you know, once it starts rusting it's harder to stop it without sealing it. And that's what you have to do. That's why if you were carrying an M1A or you were carrying an M14, very rarely on the M14 you see this as a problem. With the park rising. But with aluminum with the oxidation once aluminum receivers were scraped they would start to break down very quickly in a real humid environment in Vietnam. And that was a real problem. So what they came up with was a fingernail polish sealant. And that's why if you have a M16A1 you might have carried it, it was reissued more than a few times. Guys you'll see what looks like almost like a purplish blueing. that was in little lines all over your rifle. Well what it was, is that thing was beat, dropped, scratched, whatever. And when it went back to the armory, the guy broke out this can of paint with a little fingernail polish brush and literally just puts a bead over top of whatever it is it scraped. and that was to prevent direct oxidation, direct breakdown because rice paddies are made up of human waste and animal waste so it's high acid. The rain itself is more moisture. Your body salts with you sweating at 100 degree weather. Well, when that makes contact with bare aluminum, bare aluminum doesn't last very long. Especially in fusion cast receivers or even if they're Ford stamp receivers, doesn't make any difference. So, they would oxidize and literally be like aliens acid for blood. So, that's another thing all you AR-15 operators got to remember when you're using these weapons in the long run. Which the other guys count on you won't think about. Go ahead, Tex, Max. Did you notice that Windham... Not a surprise, that's what I was saying. The other people are starting to experiment more with this. But what do they want for it? That's the thing. It's right at the $800 range. That's better than I expected. I figured they'd have it over the $1,000 mark. I saw it in the magazine. It was right at the $800 mark. Well, I still would like someone to satisfy my desire for an all-steel AR-15. Oh, yeah. I want to go the other way. I don't need it to be lighter. I really don't. I would love to see... If you want a Bill rifle that I would love to see happen, number one, I would get an all-steel upper and lower AR-15 receiver set. a bull 22 or 23 inch barrel and then kitted out the rest of the way with all the doodads and support we've got now with all these machined aluminum picatinny rail or standoff rails and I got myself a free floating tack drive and all steel super base heavy sniper rifle and by the way with all the doodads we put on one of those M4s we got it right back to 9 10 pounds anyway so who cares They made it ultra light so you can throw all the early garbage on and put it right back to the same battle weight So it's like I think I can handle one or two pounds more, you know But also it would just be I think that people would be scared of that rifle after a while In fact, certainly the government will want to see it happen Because the aluminum even the plastic are gonna wear out. I know this I understand that all both of these you know the first of all the air 15 it'll get sloppy and It's going to get sloppy eventually if we have to use them a lot in combat. But what we're doing right now is building up a massive tactical reserve that's deep. And that's what needs to happen. So I don't care which rifle you put together, even when we're talking about these M14s, FALs or whatever, I don't care what rifle you want to put together guys. But just progressively think it through, get the job done right. Now, down the road. Or even now, I'd love to see someone break out the machining tools for those CNC machines and throw a steel block in there and build, you know, steel upper and lower air 15 receivers. You would never wear them out. That rifle would be handed down two and three generations, guys, because of the very nature of the light recoil weapon system you've got there. That weapon would never wear out. Bootmark, it weighs two or three pounds more. Big deal. Come on, Mr. Wimpie. Stop booking your pecs! Anyway, I'll tell you what, Tex Smith's closing me. We got, oh, that's right, Militia Town Hall coming up next. God bless the Republic. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. Hoorah! Thank you, sir. Guys, don't touch that dial. More live broadcasting, Ed, taking over right here. We'll be back at 8 o'clock with BK and myself for Quartermaster Friday. Bye-bye. Washington and Jefferson are crying here today To see these men who'd rather live as slaves
