They come with a number of different goodies to include a variable geometry holster slash belt system. a pre-molded holster that fits the gun. They also come with a replacement or interchangeable back strap for the main pistol grip, two magazines, what looks to be a mag reloader, and it is, plus a carrying case for all of the above, and a cleaning rod and a cleaning brush. So it's a complete neat little kit. for three hundred dollars uh... apparently the seven-level that much i think the reason i ask they don't have spare mags but as eight-stage gun or as they hand cannon their seventeen round mags number one there are two mags per gun i do not know if anyone is carrying spare mags now guys might want to check cb and and investment dot com If you want something in the chat room, I have to check that out. It's the Canik, the C-A-N-I-K-5-5-TP-9. It's a 9mm Luger slash 9mm Parabellum. These are Turkish made basically it's their answer to the Glock Much more stylized little more curved to them. They tried to make the slide have more of a sig look to it As far as the top end of the pistol goes I I like the grip I really like the grip and knowing that that's going to fill out the palm of the hand the way it's supposed to So it has some ergonomic options because it does have a second back strap you can replace an experiment with so you can change out from one to the other. That's something that's rather interesting in and of itself. So you might want to look into this pistol. But for a cache gun or for a stash gun around the house or for just a local security carry gun, we got two 17 round mags. It's one thing if you've noticed, they're stepping up into the 17 round range on a regular basis with a lot of guns. I was having a conversation with the girls that are at center fire about this. If you have 15 rounds, it was the norm. Well, now we're looking at 17 seems to be where they're floating now. And so you've got two 17 round mags, which means you got a reasonable amount of firepower for an orphan gun. Right now I'd treat it as an orphan and that what you get is all you get. But if we find magazines, then certainly for $300 for this package, the way it's set up, you get two mags with the gun right off the bat. If you get any other mags from any location, that definitely makes this weapon worthwhile. I wouldn't care what color the mags were. In other words, the base plastic might be a different color. It could be titanium, it could be desert tan, it could be black, it could be green. I wouldn't care. It would make any difference. I am totally irrelevant to me. The big thing is that the mags fit. So color is not an issue, but I would buy up four or five mags right away if they were accessible. Now so far, I can only tell you that the pistol itself with two mags is accessible and that makes it again a stash gun, a weapon you can have around the house, something you could actually carry around and beat up. It's not as expensive as other weapons are. It appears to have actually some pretty good ratings. Again, the biggest problem is going to be the fire and pin extractor and ejector in the long run and magazines. Now, if those parts or parts availability is somehow squeaked into the system somewhere, and we can find out where that is, that upgrades the potential for this weapon right off the bat. As it is though, Again, to get you out of trouble. If you're looking for a hand cannon, you could have, you know, a cache next to the couch or in a hideaway hole in a hallway or in a location where you might have to grab something on the way moving through an area and it'll give you enough firepower to get you to your primary weapons or at least get you out of trouble. Put some bullets in some zombies real quick. Again, 17 rounds per mag. That doesn't mean spray and pray. That means make them count. But right off the bat you're looking at 34 rounds, which is not bad. That's a little bit of firepower there. And definitely the weapons again have good ratings, so check it out and see if it's worthwhile for you. I'd go the OD green first. That's just me. But it's personal choice there, and hey, I ain't going to control what you're doing. But they have about, I think, what she said, 40. of the OD green available. I don't know how many of the tan. I just was curious because the OD green one to me was the one that would be curious. Kind of cool. Whenever you can get green, that blends in better with a whole lot more. Black is not the best concealment color. OD green, mellower on the eyes, blends in too, creates a ghost image that is a little, again, it's a deception color, or at least again a casual slash blending color. But all of these will work, whatever you got, whatever you choose, hey congratulations, run with that puppy and just make sure she's well fed and well taken care of, that's the only thing. Things run different prices, depending on who's carrying them. For the price at the moment, $149 was pretty good. That's $150 for a pump shotgun. 12 gauge, that was CDNN, but we're past that now, so I do not know what their present price index is for that particular weapon. Because, again, it was a sale. They're trying to move them, guys. If they're all gone, they're all gone. Just that simple. The PTR-91s, $900 for the 16 inch. Actually, $900 for the GI with the 16 inch with the green stocks. PTR91GI308 Classic with wood stocks and an 18 inch barrel. That's what I would prefer. Any of the 18 inches would be your first choice. Yes, it costs more. In fact, man, they want $50 more for the plastic. I'd go the wood. Guys, I can buy replacement stocks for a very reasonable price for the HK91. I'd go the wood for $950 as opposed to the plastic for $1000. $50 difference is $50 in ammo or 25 magazines. And I'd say I'd buy 25 magazines with that $50. That's what I'd do. That way I got a whole lot of mags for that rifle I bought. But the PTR91s are available. They're supposed to be in stock with Centerfire, they're not the only company that has them, but they have them in stock for the moment. And so again, if you're looking for a 308 rifle, the 18 inch barrel variant is what you want. Remember, magazines are about $2 a piece. The more you buy, the cheaper they get. And they're reasonably priced. Get a whole pile of the aluminum is right off the bat. Well, Mark, everybody said the steel ones are better. The aluminum ones are cheap. They're military grade magazines. It doesn't make any difference which one you get. Yes, I like the steel ones I think I've got two or three hundred of the steel ones I bought them back when the steel and aluminum ones were all being shipped at the same time because they weren't Differentiating when they first came in because there were piles and there still are piles of them It's the cheapest 308 magazine in the industry guys Which is why the rifle is worth you know, utilizing the mag is where you're gonna save money You're gonna buy 308 ball ammo no matter what you do no matter which 308 rifle you get The other thing is, at least it's an 18 inch barrel. It would be nice if it was longer, but at least it's an 18 inch. And again, you're paying a little bit more for that, depending on who you buy it from, but it's worth it. OK, I thought I heard a caller. Do we have a ding there? Do we have a caller? Go ahead and star six if you want to unmute yourself, and I'll give you a moment. Patient listener, not a problem. You don't have to worry about acknowledging. With all the stuff going on in the last 70 hours or so, and with the release of the procurement for Well, several million packets of, starting out with 700,000 with the one requisition, but a total of, I think I said, what was it, 14 million? That's not enough to take care of the population, but that's enough to deal with their friendlies, and you and I aren't friendly, so you're not going to be taken care of. Now, since we understand what the bad guys are up to, obviously we are going to have to make sure that we cover that threat. That's the first rule. If you can't get potassium iodate, don't panic. The freeze-dried guy has or had, again, I don't know what's left in his inventory, I don't know how much he has left, but he did have a quantity available. But remember, if everybody turns and focuses on this stuff, first to get there, get something after that, you're sucking vapors. And I'm not super worried about it, it's just shelf stable is desirable for your transport bags, for your bug out bag, your combat pack, whatever you're doing. But make sure that you've got it there, where it's taken with you, where you know where it is, it has to be accessible. You have to remember that you also want to be charging up your system with iodine based upon the perceived threat. The bad guys are threatening a situation like this and are moving on it. Well, you're also typically short iodine to begin with, so actually dosing yourself up now wouldn't be a bad thing. Not with a potassium iodide, with a liquid using a topical application. Again, applying a 1 by 1 inch or 1 and 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 by 1 1 by 1 by 1 1 by 1 by 1 1 by 1 by 1 1 by 1 1 by 1 by 1 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 It sucked it right up. Just flip the bottle over and get the iodine on the cotton ball. Now on your wrist, on the inside of your wrist, the downside, the soft skin side, or in the crook of your elbow where it bends, those are good areas. Anywhere on the forearm or on your chest or whatever. Now what you do is you just take and paint with that cotton ball a square about an inch and a half or so. It doesn't have to be fancy, doesn't have to be accurate. It's just you can do this to keep track of things. paint a square on your arm. Your body will absorb it naturally. The interesting thing is you'll notice when you first apply it, especially if you're really low, your eyes will water. You actually feel a little stinging in your eyes because what happens is the iodine goes right to where it's normally used. One of the things the iodine is applied to is as an antibacterial or slash as a protective part of the protective battery of minerals that protect mucous membrane areas. The eyes where you blink and you have fluid, well you're going to feel it. It's really funny but it actually happens. After the first application you're loaded up. You might again after you look after an hour if it's all gone do it again. If it fades and you can't even see it or it's almost invisible, that means your body went like a vacuum cleaner. Just take it to another patch right next to the original one. Pay attention to the time and watch to see how long it takes for that to be absorbed. Okay, well let's get it. Well, wait, wait. Each bottle has 50 tablets. And two iodine tablets treat one quart of water. There we go. So that's the traditional mix. That's the traditional water. Well, I've got another question for you, Mark. Well, we know all about Fukushima and what's going on with all that. And, you know, I mean, it's just obviously it's a threat. And they don't want to admit it, but it's just a big problem. How would you recommend taking a small dose right now just to counteract any of that? Well, you should anyway for general health. You do all you – and I'm not talking about ingesting. Save the tablets. Regular application of iodine like we're talking about is a good thing anyway. Your body needs it. I can't stress this enough. If we go into a disaster situation, iodized salt is going to be a thing of the past. Number one, whatever you got is all you've got. And after that it's gone. Iodine is a real issue in the northern states. The area of the soil is iodine depleted. It's just the nature of the soil. And because of that, that's why iodized salt came about and other products that had iodine incorporated into them. Under the logic that every time somebody puts a little salt on their food, they would also be taking in a certain amount of iodine. Now, goiters is the problem. Actually, it's the end result. Like scurvy is an issue for lack of vitamin C. If you don't have iodine in your system, goiters is something that's going to come back. It's like shingles are another one. But shingles are an interesting thing. That's a combination of different minerals and also genetics. Because people who have shingles typically, they're the next generation, sometimes it skips, typically though it's passed on. And it's something that can be reduced by diet and by proper intake of vitamins and minerals. But these are all things that you see in the movies but nobody realizes that that's a very real issue very quickly if we aren't paying attention. And even right now you can saturate the thyroid. I would. I do. Actually, I use iodine on a regular basis. There's another thing. Remember you've got cuts and scratches. I've got boo-boos all over from doing firewood and all kinds of other stuff I'm working on. Well, I simply apply the iodine there over the area and it's absorbed through the skin. where it's going to be used. But you can apply it typically on the soft tissue area, it's faster. Again, I'll point out, you'll notice this if you're paying attention, when you paint about a 1.5 to 2 inches by 2 inches, that will be a good, there's nothing extreme about that because remember you only put so much on the skin in an area that size anyway. But once you apply it, you're probably going to feel a little tingling, a little burning in the eyes. And that's where the iodine is absorbed in the system. It's going through the bloodstream, and it's actually being applied where it's needed, and if you're just short. It's actually, wow, I can feel it. It's not because you're smelling it out of the bottle or anything. It's where you've applied it to your skin. The body's absorbing it. The circulatory system is doing its job, and it's going to where it needs to go. So, it's a good thing. It's something you all need to be doing. You'll be healthier for this. But because of all the stuff that's going on, yeah, why not? I think that they're not, I believe that there's a lot more to what's going on with that, but that's simply because, let's go back to a couple of books that you all need to read. One of them is called Better Read Than Dead. R-E-A-D, Better Read, not R-E-D, Better Read Than Dead. R-E-A-D, Better R-E-A-D Than Dead. The book is on nuclear defense preparedness and nuclear defense in the event of an attack. But one of the things that the doctor did, he was in civil defense at the federal level years ago. When he made this book up, he tried to explain to everybody about how fallout works. And planetary rotation is part of the formula. Well, take a look at where, you know, Fukazilla is and then just spin the globe and take a look where we are. Remember, it doesn't have to pass through the water or whatever. There's a certain amount of that's in the environment in the air period when you turn the globe. Now the good thing is we've got rains and we've got Gulf Stream where we have again the jet stream in certain areas. But depending on what it is and where it is that it's passing, that changes some of the deployment. But you're always going to get something going downrange and eventually it's going to be in a band around that particular stretch of the planet from the initiating point. This is true of any nuclear attacks. It's the same way. Remember, downrange downwind and planetary rotation. One of the globe. Me noticing is they're talking about Fukushima. Mark, I'm probably like a good 300 miles away from Fort Hood and the way the wind currents go and they use depleted uranium on ordnance. I'm getting radiated. Oh, everybody's had it for years. Let's remember that we used to do nuclear testing above ground, and I grew up in that. Most everybody listening grew up during that era. God knows what was floating around at that time, and those were hardcore nuclear above ground detonations. Even when they were dropping stuff out of the Bikini Atoll and the Russians were dropping stuff in Kamchatka or Siberia. Hey George, do you want to have some fun? Yeah. Find a granite building and take a Geiger counter into you know Thing is I've been hearing from some sources in the foreign press that this Fukushima thing It's just a smokescreen because a lot of corporates are doing toxic dumping off in the ocean Well, it would be a great chance for the majestic shovels to come in. Well, not just off of the ocean there, but this whole thing about it being about 40 miles off the coast of the US. You can go and pull up our nuclear dump site since 1946 in the ocean, and they're right in that 46 miles off the coastline thing. And we were only dumping them in steel drums. How long do you think they're going to last? French and English do the same thing. I haven't sat there and I tried telling Jeff Prince. I said because he brings up Fukushima, the cash-in often fits. She's talking about Goldman Sachs. That's his existence for broadcasting. It's talking about Fukushima. I'm just trying to say, why is Fukushima going? It doesn't take only six months for the reactor core to cool. Well, I don't even want to get into the debate because, number one, the database is so corrupted. That's my problem and there's a lot of arguments. The big thing at this end is it's a simple rule. We have the technology and that's how honest everybody is going to be or whether or not they're going to hype it up. Rule number one, when you're collecting data, you have to be impersonal. That is the biggest problem. People have a tough time with that. And if you have an agenda, the agenda will taint the database if you're not careful. I've argued this for the longest time. We have the private radiological technology to survey this whole country. It's just like when the golf thing was taking place. Guys, the test kits and everything else you need to do real intelligent data collection are available. How many people actually did it? How many people instead incorporated emotion? You cannot afford emotion. It's like an air traffic controller. An air traffic controller is a human just like everybody else. He has horrible blood pressure. He has terrible stress issues because what he has to do is suppress everything that you would normally expect from Hollywood as opposed to the real world that he has to live in where he has to be totally disciplined and controlled. I believe that this is the same problem with our whole effort on any of these which is why I consider the data stream corrupted. You got too many people playing games and a lot of them are either eco-freaks or they're corporates and there's everything in between. And if we were serious, we'd all get together and do a real survey process step by step and not ad hoc. We outnumber everybody else out there in the corporations. So why doesn't somebody want to realistically get a regimen organized so that we all collect in the same way? Now let me give you an example of some place where this is done already. the National Weather Service. Does everybody understand that the National Weather Service doesn't do all the collecting on their own? They have virtually thousands of sites across the country where private individuals have something that looks about the size of a telephone booth dropped off, delicate golf courses. You can do this, you get paid for this, guys. and you go out and survey everything each day. That's how they get the snow count, that's how they get the rain count, all this other information. It doesn't mean they don't have other installations, but to get a broad survey of your state and of the country, the majority of that is privately done. Well, the same thing needs to be done with radiological surveying, but it's not being done the way it should be. It has emotion attached to it. Well, Mark, I turn weather data every day. It's designed as a, it's just like the NRA, it's designed as a check and balance mechanism. It has to be politically correct, which is never going to work. Oh yeah, warm, fuzzy, whatever. Here's how it works. You're going to fight. Everybody just has to remember that you might be the first one or the first group of people to find out what it's all about when you have to fight.
