Well, maybe I'll just return next year and see what kind of job I can get with whatever contractor, etc. But a lot of general staff personnel don't go into contracting. In other words, Command and control personnel or individuals who are in the little loop as it is. So if you think it's tough getting into the next level of a command position going from major to lieutenant colonel, lieutenant colonel to colonel, colonel to brigadier general, oh the contractor scam is worse because again if you're not always with the right set of ring knockers so that you can lie your way through whatever and help them to conceal their buffoonery, you're not going to be in the loop. There are a lot of good general staff officers out there that are still very much of service age. And one thing about general staff officers and command officers is that they are always in the IRR, Independent Ready Reserve. They are always, you know, they would always be on standby, per se. The individuals that they are retiring out or pushing out right now will still be in the same basic situation. So those men have the qualifications to fight a war against the regime, against the rubber lips that will be in their licking hind end. That is something to consider guys. With other elections, they said the first time ever that they had somebody come out at the polling place standing out there in the open with a club threatening to beat down individuals who wanted to go vote. It was these Black Panther characters. They were found guilty. This is something about the transition of power from the Bushite to the Faker or Barry Satoro. Holders' Unjustice Department decided not to sentence them. In other words, they were in the process. They had already been prosecuted. They were up for sentencing and all of a sudden no sentencing. Now, pretty much this is unheard of, but this is an example again of a blatant demonstration of the actual agenda of the Shysters across the board. And it's not an accident. They are very good, excellent condition. We've seen these before. I would point out that these particular shells, like a lot of the other ones that are out there, Remember, the U.S. trigger finger mitten liner fits in them perfectly. And they're fine. That's good. Fine solution. That's good because I just sent out an order for two dozen of the U.S. trigger finger mittens to Maine military because they have a dozen of them on sale for $15. And if you buy $50 or more, they will ship free. These are the heavy duty ruggedized slash vinyl outer shell, elastic cinch at the wrist and at the end of the gauntlet. It comes with wool inserts that can also be worn separately, fit up to size large but there are 4 pairs for $10 on the clearance page. So that's $2.50 a pair for the shells and the mittens. I've had these before. These are not the same model that they have with main military. The Swedes have built different generations of this stuff. In fact, there's another pair of hers that are just brand new, buy themselves into the black shells for $10. But for four pairs for $2, you know, 50 cents a piece, you know, $10 for four pairs, the item number is WCLX-190485. It's on page 8 of the clearance section, about halfway down on the right hand side. I want to bring this up because we are getting into cold weather. Even if you try to hang onto them, I'm sorry, I've done this too many times, I carry spares for a reason. People drop them. Spares are really nice to have and $10 for four pairs of shells and the liners is a steal and then like we know Darrell said you can order dozens of the replacement wool liners inserts which are wool and If they get wet they retain heat But if they get wet you change them out you'll you know take the wetlands off put another pair on now you're warm and you're dry so it extends the use of the outer covering even though the other The outer covering may have gotten wet. You can still use the dry ones inside that and extend the time that you can use them to where you get a chance to go get them dried out or whatever. Exactly. And the big thing here too is you can carry two pairs. And for $2.50 a pair, these also make a great solution just like the Maine military has them for the others for $3 a pair. So it's a personal choice, but some of you guys are even Sportsman's Guide members. I don't think there's any special price. This is a clearance price of $10. $9.99. I'll throw the penny in. OK? There you go. $10. But it's item number WCLX-190485 and it's definitely these are four pairs. So you get four set of liners, four sets of liners, four sets of shells. And that's an excellent price, guys, for what you're dealing with. Hand wear and again, gloves especially are becoming even harder to find in surplus for any good price. Those used to be the dime items. Those are the things where you buy cheap cheap and they were the come along item to put out. Like if you had a store it was guaranteed people are going to buy gloves and you want to keep them cheap and you want to bring people in. Well, you'll notice that sock and gloves and mittens have not come down. They've been going up in the other direction. They're not the penny item that they were before or even a dollar item like they were before now. And these are again $2.50 a pair, four pairs for $10. That's as good as you're going to get. And you're getting shells with them. That's the big thing. So even if you just wanted spare liners and a couple pairs, you've got spare shells just in case anyway. These also are great for putting in the car. Here's four pairs. Put them in the car. You need them. You got them. If you don't need them, oh well. There's pairs. There's backups. Whatever. But they'll serve you. And that's the big thing. They will serve you well. The other thing that they've got here, and again I don't mention Sportsman's Guide very often, there's stuff that they have up there and you guys go through it, you'll find things that are cool. The other thing that they have are one or two camouflage items that showed up. Not very many, but there are some interesting things you need to check out every once in a while. And again in the clearance section, sometimes you can find a better price. But one of the things they've got here, and they're $20 a top, it's in the new EOTech camouflage, you know that dust brown? I don't know if you've seen it, Darryl, but it actually looks like the way they started doing this is with a sponge and oil and dirt from the battlefield environment that they were in. Basically, they've made this now. We've come full circle to basically what they've done is they're mimicking the old homemade camouflage we were taught to make in the military. This is a direct action line wreath jacket and pants. The price on the jacket, this is interesting because they are showing, they got it in charcoal, they got it in navy and they got it in black, they are showing it in camouflage. I guess you are going to have to go through there and see what you can find, but the price as little is $20 for the jacket which is actually pretty decent. It's a good pattern that can work in a lot of locations in the dirt, earth, brown colors. Obviously being used in the rocky environment, etc. It looks like a lot of you people can already jump down these things. They may have some pants, but they've sold out almost everything else. They've got a couple pairs of the pants. You'll have to check the size. 36 inch. It was a great idea if the price was there because this is the latest and greatest in the fashion camouflage. Oh well, we tried. Again, I had just jumped out at me off the page and I did want to mention, Adair, before we go any farther, Oh, one other item, five French military booney hats, desert camo in the three colored desert with a darker brown, $10. I guess they're not gun friendly, but they were honoring the contracts they had. So the promoter is moving the show to the fairgrounds, which will get better information later. But anyway, that's what I got on the agenda for the next two. two weeks and then there are some other shows coming up that in this area but I won't be attending them because I'm going to be out there with the militia chasing around the woods and getting some exercise and trying to get my leg into better operating condition and see if I can't put some more targets in the freezer. Some speed beef if they want to call it that. practice practice owning my uh... my tracking skills and my uh... sense of direction and uh... and uh... keep my trigger trigger trigger trigger trigger trigger trigger yeah yeah keep the trigger finger going make a chore that is loose you squeeze you don't a jerk but uh... keep the uh... trigger trigger finger and uh... get some of the best eaten food you can get for, you know, next to nothing. And I know there's a lot of people out there that don't like to eat it, but boys, it makes good food and speaking of which, something I was thinking about as a weapon, as food. Okay? We know the government is trying to buy up tons and tons of food, either dried or whatever, for whatever reason. It might be because they just announced that they're going to be in Afghanistan for at least 10 more years. Anyway, a weapon is a food. Something to consider, folks, and that is go to the dollar store. Go down to the dollar store, you will find in their canned food section, because most of them have, at least around here they do, I don't know about everywhere, but they have their little canned food thing. You will find a one to two serving a canned of various kinds of canned meat. And if you can't afford to go out and spend a couple hundred dollars or a thousand dollars to buy a year's supply of dried food, here's a way to pick it up a little bit at a time, Just because it has an expiration date on it does not mean that the food that's inside that container magically goes bad on that date. The canned food will still be good for years after the expiration date as long as it has not been punctured or exposed to rust to allow the rust to Well, actually, rush through the side of the container and get in there. It'll still be good for years and years. And this is a cheap way or inexpensive way to get a supply of food without spending a ton of money. And one of the things that I like, because America needs more gas, is the cans of beans and weenies. OK? If you are a patriot and you want to help out with the gas shortage in this country, go down and buy the beans and weenies and be a true patriot. Yes, yes. As a matter of fact, again, that basic, you know, if you're going to be mixing stuff up or trying to put different onions together, those core components make for a wide variety. It eliminates food fatigue, guys. You can always do things with the basics to change them up. Barbecue sauce, hot sauce, other vegetables. Remember these are the basics so that whatever else you scavenge, grow or produce, you can turn around and take advantage of these, throw it into the pot. Hobo soup as it's called, or hobo special meal traditionally. And a lot of them are done like that over the years quite successfully by people who had a lot less resource than you or I. One other thing there, Mark, as long as we're talking about foods, the Department of Army has put out a survivor's manual of edible plants that are out there. It covers basically the world as far as that goes. It's about 130 pages. It goes through and describes what plants are edible, what parts of the plants are edible, what parts are not. What parts can be made edible that may not taste very good, and also how to discern whether a plant is poisonous, and how to get rid of the poison or the toxicity in it, or even tells you what plants not to even bother with because there are too much poison in them. So it's a worthwhile to pick up. It's a manual. Everybody has a unit that has a scrounger and if you don't have a scrounger you need to have a scrounger. He should have it and he should memorize it and everybody else should read it and get a rough idea of what's going on. So when you are out in the Hintarayan and you come across some of these things you can pick them up. Because there's no reason, there's no reason what the food that's out there naturally provided by Mother Nature and anybody. should theoretically starve to death, starve to death in the wilderness. My speech for tonight. Excellent. Well, another thing there too. Remember, acorns, a lot of other stuff are edible, but not necessarily initially palatable for a lot of people. It's a matter of, again, how hungry are you. But acorns, one of the tricks that the native population, the Indian population did, boil, dump the water, boil them again. What you're doing is pulling the tannic acid out of the acorn. Most of the Indian populations used acorns for making bread, any number of porridges, obviously using them as a meat, chopping them up but also pulverizing them and crushing them. There's a lot of other things out there with literally food standing around you or sitting around you for as far as you can see people starving to death is not an uncommon thing for lack of knowledge. So it's especially critical that we get the database, get the information base out there and make sure that you've got it in written form, guys. Computer is good, but make sure you print it out. The computer is no good out in the field when you have no electricity. The batteries are dead. I was going to put out a place that you can get them. Bud K. I've heard you refer to Bud K once in a while on the show there, Mark. The reason I know what's in them is I ordered a couple just to see what was in it and then it took me one night to read it to find out. It's got lots of good information. Like I said, it's put out by the United States Army and it covers the whole world as far as that goes. It tells you what plants grow where and how to recognize them. And it also even tells you how to use the skin test to find out if it's poisonous to you or not. Exactly. Again, Bud Cave in their surplus section, where is it located? Well, it was right in the middle of their catalog. They send me a catalog about every three weeks. It's been in several of their catalogs. To try and pick one page, it's kind of impossible. But they're in there and they also have all the training manuals from the military too that would be a smart thing to pick up. How about a few extra machetes? There are some really good prices on the sawback machetes right now. A couple models that apparently are going to be fading out. I would assume to switch out to more of the model that I was originally discussing, the Buccaneer type, but there's a nice $12.50, 17 inch blade sawback macheti right now in the clearance section guys for $12 and some odd cents, well we'll say $13 rounded up rather than down. It's pretty reasonable to have a short sword in place that you kind of hack and chop with and saw with as needed too. It's a utility tool. Just what I think about there. that are not listed in their catalog. So if you go to their webpage, they have some crossbows on sale. 120 pound pool to 150 pound pool, and they have them in several different configurations as far as the accessories that go with them. And then they have a bunch of the pistol crossbows. I just got a shipment in today of, let's see, there is five, six, seven, seven crossbows along with extra bolts. So that is another consideration for a backup weapon especially if you have to do some close in close stealthy work and it also works good at shooting game animals so that people don't hear and be able to pinpoint where you might be and be able to fill your pot with food. Exactly. One of the big things there too is remember the bolts can be made from a number of different materials. You can buy the bolts or you can make them. Some can be more permanent than others. You can make them out of steel, make them out of solid aluminum. Those bolts would be designed and actually can be made to be body armor piercing and are very commonly used for that. In fact, let's put it this way. When the crossbow was put into service as a military weapon, that was its primary mission was to get through the hard stuff to the soft, chewy stuff inside because, and again, the prod, as it was called, was made stronger and heavier progressively for that purpose to the point that defensive crossbows on fortifications could have up to a 300-pound and even a 600-pound prod. So, in other words, you didn't just move those by hand. Those were cranked with literally a windless type system and locked in, but when they targeted something, they would staple you to the ground. Think about being fired upon from above by that and what that would do. And you can take it one step further. If you need a silent, undetectable, anti-gillicopter weapon, there. Okay, you can make a wheel-mounted crossbow and shoot steel shafts at the rotors. You can make the shaft longer. I forget what it has to be, something like 10 or 15 feet and shoot at the rotors. The blades will not be able to, or the shaft will not be able to clear the blades without taking them off.
