Now it is hunting season but I don't know many of you out there that are going to be taking 9 millimeter ammo and blazing away at Bambi. You know what I mean? Magazine change. It's not going to happen. Okay, it doesn't happen that way. But 9 millimeter, 45, all the basic calibers progressively in what, five days? Pretty well swept off the shelf. I want to give an example of this. Go to Well, let's go to a company that really is a good gauge. There's a lot of others out there and everybody's got their price, but amomand.com, www.amomand.com. I want you to go there. Let's go through the basic calibers. 9mm, they had five flavors of. At the beginning of the week, I actually was looking at it. Well, let's see, we've got 147 grain spear lalman, $400 for a thousand rounds. We've got 9mm Remington. $500 yeah, I can see whether that didn't move it a dollar. I guess it is good saber Yeah, but as well be a dollar and we have a little bit left of the nine millimeter federal hydration only 78.5 cents around that and move real fast But you know what how much of it did move because there's only seven cases left in stock They just pop nine millimeter long on the end and they've got 30 cases in stock where they had about 198. So that's kind of funny there. It's like, wow, these stores kind of, what about even the gold and the saber to dollar around? What's left on the shelf there with that? 21 cases in stock. Well, and there's 500 rounds per case. So if you want to go a dollar around for nine millimeter and paid the same price you're paying for 30 out, oh, I guess most of the least guys is what we're looking at. Now, the interesting thing about this is pretty much everybody is in the same boat. Some of the companies come really nothing left of their inventory. PMC, 45 ACP, ball, 185 grain. There are 27 cases left in stock. That is a solution. They really got stomped there, and 27 customers buying 1,000 rounds each cleans off the shelf the rest of the way. Then the Wolf ammunition, which we all know about Wolf, 230 grain. uh... five hundred rounds per case two hundred and fifty dollars they have twenty of them in stock you look at what white black not cheap forty-five a c p for what's left is it the box of crime by middle jacket f m j non-corrosive doesn't tell me if it is uh... and on course it might be uh... box of prime case even though it's feel i can live with that uh... prices well with what's left that's why it's what's left because for you know live no a lot more $0.5 cents around for 45. Did you think you were ever going to pay 60.5 cents around for 45? Anybody? Even for Hollow Point, the kicker on this one. And of course, HydroShock, almost a dollar around. So I wouldn't worry about the HydroShock. I'm excited about HydroShock, you can go there. Now again, across the board, pretty much everything that was either, you know, again, in some companies, everything's gone or we're down to zero. There's nothing, not a, there just isn't anything they have of even the specialized grounds are gone. 38 Specials looking like that, 357. Most of the carbine is pretty well gone again here in the last eight. These guys carrying a lot of carbines, the older people. Guys with World War II vets or Korean vets or even early Vietnam vets, the carbine was very common and the 30 caliber carbine ammunition got vacuumed up. You'll find it around, price will be high for what's out there still. 30 out of 6 went the same way in a matter of what, two days? Pretty much out of that, Hamillman doesn't have any either. They went through about 84 of those, 85 of what I could see in PMC, which a lot of people go, well, what's PMC? Now, in the 80s, everybody knew PMC. That's Korean military production. He is owned by Sung Hyung Ah-Moon and Mr. Moon. Of course, I think he is gone. And Moon, well, actually, he started investing it. He didn't own it originally. Or he wasn't even, he wasn't a major stockholder. But what happened is PMC, with the money that he had from his ministries, quote unquote, He got into a lot of things to include and whether or not he's still in to or the association they were working with is still in to. I haven't looked recently but I've noticed that PMC is bleeding back into the market slowly. Last year a bunch of it came in and we had the wave hit as you know and that all disappeared in one of good quantities. Now PMC is boxer prize heat annealed. It's a copy of the American spec years ago typical PMC was a little thinner walled. That's the only thing I can tell you right now and I'll warn you about. What we do is cross cuts and we measure and gauge. And it was very apparent that the PMC was thinner, especially with the .30S. It's not going to affect one-time shooting, but remember, if the grass is thinner, you're not going to get as many reloads out of it. Functioning ammunition, very clean, very accurate. PMC is made for the Korean military, so they really don't up on that because they... plan on if there's stuff on the warehouse they'd go right to the war effort if they went into a battlefield situation do anything to really screw up their ammo they do make everything where a preview partisan has become the latest to do all the orphan cartridges like the odd military ball rounds and such that you guys have been buying that niche back in the eighties companies bars reliability and providing the service but when they got given the black mark and were told they couldn't bring stuff in anymore of course that p o'd a lot of people who are getting used to the idea that they could buy some of their exotic or odd rounds for a pretty good price for a reasonable price. The new partisan is filled in, PMC is coming back into the market, mostly this time around for the moment. Most of what you've seen is standard military rounds 30 car beam, 9 millimeter, 45, they even have PMC and they actually make pretty nice 50 caliber round for a ball round standard. Works just fine, shoots first time every time, reloads just like everything else that they make that's box or prime. PMC is a, and if you see it at the show, you've got people who, and because of that they may have a, you know, again a special arrangement, they've got a contact, they've got a source in the wholesale industry, and they can pass you and they will try to do that, okay. In addition, with all the other stuff that is happening in that direction, I will remind everybody too that the amoman.com is not the only company out there. I just use Amoman because it's quick and easy for you to find. Right now, AIMS, Surplus, and Center Fire Systems, Classic Firearms, several others out there. Thanks, you guys, in the chat room there. Classic, of course, does have some ammunition. They don't have much, but they do have, consistently, they'll have a few calibers that they at least carry in force. Now if you're looking to follow through on that, let's buy a case or at least a big can of ammo for a statement. Vote with your wallet. How about $90 a can? okay that's what's gonna cost ninety dollars a can at the pain surplus so there's still a mission out there for the subject you but fifty-four are you have made up if you have sega seven sixty but fifty-four are rifles if you have any of the dragon off knockoffs uh... doesn't mean there is what it is most albert by more ammo your weapons are battlefield superiority battlefield supremacy weapons this frame pray but we are going to be damn you should go along all So, storage ammunition, can storage ammunition is a... The stuff is sealed from the environment, is in good place. Ideally, a whole case would be best, but maybe you don't have the money for that. You may have enough money for a $90 can of ammo at least. $30 off there, so that does help. And a whole case, boxed up, canned up. I would make sure that you write or stencil, make up a stencil, 762x54R, written on most of the advertisements. 0.62x54R. I make the stencil, I put that on the side of the stencil, even to the side of what's already there in Cyrillic, you know, in Russian. I paint it on the top, paint it on the sides, paint it on the bottom, paint on both sides too. That way when you look at it, you'll know what it is. No mistakes, but confusion about what's in that case. You don't want anything strange to happen, okay? Wrong ammunition for the wrong rifle. thing we got. The cans are pretty well marked but 7.62 a lot of people can confuse 6.2 by 54R with 7.62 by 39 just automatically thinking one must be the same as the other. Sure that doesn't happen either so break out your permanent marker and write down what's in that can that you and everybody and a little giveaway if you were confused and didn't have any other marking on it. If it says 440 rounds or 400 rounds and it's a ham tenet says 7.62 two by fifty four are slash the mega things that have been put in the hand pins and you gotta remember that they've done curbing animal they've done uh... jerry carby and what force you may not remember this but all of the staff nineteen fifty two yeah we we we did all this ninety fifty two animal recap chat korean wall no that's not what they did they just kept cranking out a cranked out their new animal with the nineteen fifty two head stamp tell everybody that this is all from the five American ammo that they were trying to sell. But it was Burdam Prime, make Burdam Prime brass and all over, it's carbon amo no matter what they build, you know, the communist Chinese, is 1852. So they try to make it look like it's American ammo and all captured from 1952 and you want American ammo from 1952 because it's all American captured stuff so it's premium. They were doing there. Gotta be a little more of a sewer. Now that carbon amo ran just fine. It's just fine. Not a problem there. You made some steel case. Never made that kind of steel case carbine ammo. Yeah, but it says 1952 and it's got an American head stamp on it. These are kind of plume plenmas. Oh, it should know better than that. That doesn't mean you have to understand the people playing the game. Other ammunitions and calibers, it's a mix. It's catch-as-catch-can. A lot of the preview partisan, preview partisan has probably been cut off. That's what it's looking like. They're one of the ammos that bummer, you know, one of the, one of the streams that has been either choked off or, and again, it's a roll of dice, combination of and you guys have just been buying it up for those odds and ends rifles. Pretty much all of the companies that carry Preview Partisan are sold out of a big chunk of what they have. Now they do have some PPU Preview Partisan .30-06 that just came in with AIM surplus. If you're looking for softpoint, beautiful ammunition, reloadable, 30-7 softpoint ammunition, 20 rounds per box, less than a dollar a round ammunition paid by people who know how to build the stuff so you're not going to lose anything there. Now the other one is the odd man out and I want to bring this up because a lot of you have Argentine mousers in the 7.65x53. Now that particular round is comparable to the .30-06. .308, that's in the .06 range. This round just like the .06, they make it ball round, they make it in soft point. Some pretty partisan, it's main military. 174 grain. 20 round box, maybe partisan, PPU. It's a 7x53 Argentine for the Argentine Mausers. Don't you sneeze at those, those were tack drivers. And with fresh ammunition, especially boxer prime non-corrosive heat annealed case, clean that rifle up top to bottom. Make sure that chamber is extra clean. Dust bunnies out of it. You'll find that that Argentine Mauser even today will perform exceptionally well. even think that's one of them old mousers. Yeah, it is an old mouser. Just like those old Winchester's and those old fields and those nagot rifles you're carrying. By 53 is 62 by 54 R by a notch. If you already got one of those that grandpa gave you, a lot of them work. Don't worry about changing it out. Leave it the way it is. A whole lot of money on changing anything out. Spend money on ammunition while you can get it. and they have preview partisan seven six five argentine it sixteen dollars a box almost fifteen ninety five okay once again go now you've got a sixteen dollar box twenty round you know cartridges there available ready to go so fifteen dollars a box all the all bet you and by the way you still gonna have to deal with shipping was not that great the extra some shipping deals make sure you check that out also there is a quantity still have some of the five by fifty five no i'm a mention this mark i got three or eight yeah but a lot of people out there been here to transmit rubens those things have been coming into the country for decades they originally came in for like about six thousand dollars a rifle uh... if you see one closer to act rival close not a term or the sound you make when you work at all the schmidt rubin requires ammunition obviously this for five dollars and forty nine cents around but everything that they produces match great So you're talking a highly precision round, 174 grain here guys, bigger bullet, FMJ, 10 rounds per box, $5.49. Pretty much all of our specs for a standard round. What's interesting is there we had sniper grade and that's their standard issue. $0.49 around, $0.49 for 10 rounds, it's really no worse than anything else you're buying out there and look at what 308 is going for. So if you have a Swiss Schmidt Ruben, any model of the Schmidt Ruben rifles or the straight pole rifles that are Swiss. And they take the 6.5 Swiss round. I highly recommend that you buy it. What's interesting is the price stayed pretty flat with the Swiss ammo. Everybody noticed this? I've brought this up many times. Everything else has passed it. Before it was pricey, by comparison to the cheaper rounds we were telling everybody to get. but other than they got ammunition everything else is pretty well now come up to where the Swiss ammunition has been. The Swiss when everybody does that 10 rounds, that isn't 48 cents. Guys come on. If it's any worse than anything else you're going to get jacked by when you go out to buy it. Basically what you're looking at $11 for a 20 round box. That's not bad and only that is high end ammunition. That's another consideration, but if you have the Schmidt Rubens, buy as much as you can. Here again, this weekend, try and figure out what you can afford. Buy enough to put at least a hundred and two hundred rounds under each rifle. In a .30 caliber ammo can, the best way to do it would be to take a .30 caliber ammo can and fill a .30 caliber ammo can up for each of the Schmidt Rubens you have. Here's a can, here's a rifle. Again, for every else's thinking, another thing I would point out, if you are looking for our odds and ends weapons parts, there's still plenty of parts. But unique rifles even out there are pretty well drying up. There are a couple of companies that was their forte, their niche for the unique arms, and they have not had a replacement inventory. You may have a lot of pretty pictures on a lot of these web pages. When you click them, somebody called out of stock, I don't know who he is, out of stock is showing up in a lot of these images. Now I'm getting frustrated by that and a couple companies I think got a lot of complaints about it too because for instance, had dozens of pictures all kinds of pretty pictures all those are beautiful guns but they didn't have a stinking one of them so they finally cleared off the shelf and the only thing they're pretty much putting up on the shelf on the page the handful of firearms that they had you know they have that they really truly have one or two items as they've sold out of them here like in last year or two they are actually posting a sold out sign and they're hoping to get more and they think they can access more so those have a notifying thing. That's a good example of what they're doing. It's an intelligent process. That way I'm not clicking and imaging going, man, they don't have that. Click it again, man. They don't have that. I click it again, man. They don't have that either. Click it again, man. They don't have anything. It's really pissing me off. You see, and that it was, because a lot of people spend a lot of time looking at pretty pictures but no substance. Many of the companies now are upgrading, but a lot of others haven't. Well I went to this page and I see pictures of, really? Did you click the image? You click the image and there's a couple of telltale indicators. Even they have to scroll down a little bit to get to the substance of the fact that it says out of stock. After a while you get really good at that and you go, man, it looks like the same format.
