Summary
Mark Koernke discussed the federal government shutdown, characterizing it as ineffectual and calling for deeper cuts to bureaucracy. He covered gun building and maintenance topics, particularly 1911 pistols and sighting systems, emphasizing field-grade reliability over competition builds. Koernke analyzed a viral motorcycle-car incident on a New Jersey expressway, defending the driver's actions against bikers who allegedly blocked and attacked his vehicle. He took caller questions about FAL rifle purchases and HK91/PTR91 platforms, recommending the PTR91 for affordability and steel-case ammunition compatibility, and discussed reloading fluted brass casings from HK rifles.

He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me he said, We fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom is gone. Your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. Indist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught. according to the state. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children and people... Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave is this still the land of the food and good? Afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, this is the first hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I'm Mark Kornke. It has been warm, comfortable, a beautiful fall day, early fall day here in Michigan. We've got color change going on, but the weather is still humid and it has been a perfect day for roofing, working outside, or going down the road and getting a half truckload of free dried oak. Already cut to the length of my fireplace! And all I had to do was throw it in the truck! In fact, it was even bundled up! That's what's really cool. When you get free energy like that for the price of just a little bit of traveling. Cool! Hey, by the way, I also got an east wing hammer. Not a pretty one! but still one piece mostly really kind of cool I'm gonna have to do a little grinding on one spot and then I'm gonna probably Make a quick rubber handle for it from something else. I already have a handle sitting here Just to cover the steel. I could just leave it as it is. It's a great tool but you know, it's one of those old leather thong ones and the leather got tired and Apparently somebody decided I'll just go spend another seventy dollars on another hammer because that's what it costs to replace these drop forage one-piece hammers that are out there guys. Whoa! 50 to 70 depending on what you look at. Anyway, so a good afternoon, great scavenging opportunity. Today's date is the 2nd of October. It is the fifth year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K 2013 old earth calendar or Mayan crazy town and crazy town calendar it is well a quick report will see on day to going on three of the savage destruction and shutting down of the u.s. government Apparently, we had an individual driving into the Washington, D.C. area. This was covered today. Wrecked cars, screwed the highway. Piles of cars trying to escape from the debris, the destruction, the smoking wreckage that is now Washington, D.C. Well, unfortunately, there were the dog-picked, skeletal remains and some of the cars backed up bumper to bumper on the outbound lane. The inborn line, actually quite clear with the exception of a few government service vehicles where apparently headed towards Washington, they ran out of gas and everybody just got frustrated as the observer noticed many of these government employees, well, when they ran out of gas they really didn't look for any supervision, they were just standing there by the vehicles or they were turning around and walking back out of the destruction area, the epicenter of doom. As you got closer it was noted that there were piles of trash, Dust, debris, in fact it had that lived-in look like Star Wars but on steroids, more like you're going to downtown Detroit. getting closer. It was noticeable that there were smoky smears and lesions on the side of the building where the destruction of the offices one after another took place over the last 48 hours. Again, the dog chewed remains of politicians desperately trying to make it out of town before the sidewalks were rolled up. Government monuments cordoned off. riot police shooting and executing people who were still able to walk on two feet that might be trying to see and observe you know the very difficult to maintain granite monuments with concrete all around them you know how tough it is forty eight hours after somebody says you don't have any money for the people anymore all of the money from the people but you're not going to spend it on the people Well, corpses are piling high as the Forestry Service slash the Park Service were told that all of the individuals trying to observe the federal monuments were terrorists, domestic terrorists. An execution wall was established in Excellent Lincoln Memorial, and I understand that a number of other execution points were set up. However, there was hesitation at the World War II Memorial because it was realized by the federal agents that in their no hesitation shoot campaign where they have pictures of shooting grandma and grandpa, pregnant women and small children and large children, they didn't have a target for veterans in wheelchairs. And so while they did cross their arms and they looked very cross and they you know touched and tweaked at their firearms while gunshots were being heard over by the Lincoln Memorial as people were executed left and right they were on two feet including grandmas grandpas pregnant women small children the Male and female adults in the wheelchairs apparently survived unscathed because the P-brain low IQ, no neck, tiny weenie roided up lesbians and homosexuals that are in the park service weren't sure whether or not they would be allowed to shoot because they hadn't had any training in where to shoot a person in a wheelchair. Now, don't worry, Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, the short-squat lesbian, hater of America and hater of men, was called back in to reinforce the no hesitation no shoot program and now it's shoot program so if the veterans show up in the wheelchairs again they've now adjusted target acquisition in addition to this of course the tumbleweeds and the dust build up the epic silence of an abandoned city other than the police state as you sweep your eyes across the Rotondan or around the area of the Capitol building and as we know a door can be heard clapping in the distance over there in Pennsylvania Avenue because with no money the executive branch abandoned the White House. Now they did pull off all of it in the true sense of a Democrat Carter and included administration They did, of course, on the way out, unscrew all of the doorknobs, steal all the memorabilia that they could, a small debris trail leading to where the pickup trucks and travel campers and move-all vans were that were loaded up with the regalia of the White House. So it is empty, however, I don't know if it's really defended or anything, with government shutdown Washington, D.C. is now an abandoned burning husk of itself. Oh, will the horror never end, will the terror never cease. Are we prepared for this? Oh, who cares? Well, I don't really want to shoot Graham and Graham from the wheelchair. So if we're lucky, maybe you can warn them that by tomorrow morning, the pigs that are the federal agents will have been adjusting their aim and practicing on the range all night ready to shoot those 80. Yeah, those eight. Their primary targets are the tires of the wheeled vehicles, Mark, so that the perpetrators cannot escape in the aforementioned wheeled vehicles. If they can shoot one tire out, then they get a better second shot. Is that what you're saying? Yeah. Yeah, so anyway, the doom and destruction of Washington, the quiet, silent howling winds, the winds of bemoaning death, the death of bureaucracy, will the horror never end! Without the bureaucracy, we would live free! Without the bureaucracy, we would not have legions of people, parasites, demanding to put a gun to our head! Without the bureaucracy, you would keep most of your paycheck! Without the bureaucracy, America would not have a bloated government incapable of responding to anybody's needs, but demanding purely for themselves. Without the bureaucracy, what would we do? Breathe free. You know what? I'm discouraged. Now, I'm going to tell you what I did today. I was not nice, Don. I picked up the phone. Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, and I called the congressional operator. And she said, who do you want to talk to? I said, well, give me somebody from Michigan. How's that sound? So I got the office. I paid attention to who it was. Because as soon as I heard the phone, as soon as I heard the phone answered, and she goes, may I help you? Congress, excuse me. And I stopped right there. And she said, well, excuse me. Are you still there? And, excuse me? She said. And I said, yeah, are you in Washington? Well, yes, of course. What are you still doing there? My God! With the flames in the distance and all of the people dying in the streets for lack of sustenance. The blood, the sheer terror of government shutdown. Can't you throw the keys? Why don't you leave, shut the lights off? and throw the keys to the garden, don't let him, we won't let him give them back to you. Will you leave? She didn't know, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, well, all I can say is, it's obviously just more lies, because if you were really truthful, I wouldn't even have somebody answering the phone right now in any of these offices, now would I? We obviously didn't shut enough government down. Nobody out here wouldn't be happy until 75% of you need to be gone and more and that would just be the start. Then we could start really culling and getting rid of the rest of the parasite problem in this country. Well, hopefully you guys will get ready to shut the lights off and leave. I'll call back later to see if you're still there. Bye bye. So anyway, Don, I went out to the edge of the road here. So like I said this morning, I did it twice today. It actually went down the road a little bit. And do you know that nothing has changed out here? Isn't that amazing? The government bureaucracy claims that they're shutting down. The only thing that they're doing is peeing in the faces of the American people. The slob parasites overseas demanded more money over the last two days. The slob parasites inside that are all from Yudhiland, like Chicago and New York, are all lamenting that, you know, we need more money! But the rest of us? Well, Obama made sure he... We can't be going to those granite monuments that are so difficult to keep up. You know, if you cut off the money today, I wonder how long it will be. The Washington Monument, after most current repair, is just going to fall over. I didn't hear that. Oh, I believe you, Don. I believe you. I'm only going to get up and walk away. Are you saying it has, let's see, what is it, a laser activated cutoff unit? No, no. It's going to be the tool that Lincoln uses to chip away what's his name out of that stone until he's finally free at last. Actually, I figured out why they can't let him around the Lincoln Memorial. I was trying to figure that one out. Let's see. Is this an amusement park? You didn't hear about the new Lincoln, right? Lincoln now, everybody thought it was just a stone statue. Those stone statues take a lot of maintenance. Have you ever thought about that, guys? How much maintenance did that stone statue and that stone mortuary that they built around him? There's one hint. Shoe pigeon. Shoe pigeon. Oh, and even then, they're there all the time. Those are there all the time, right? So I was thinking, well, possibly, we haven't been there in Washington a long time. Well, I found out that they've got this new, you know, Lincoln now stands up and they've got him joined at the hip, he joined at the hip and the knees, and he does a little, like, a shaky jig. And you know, let's twist today, like we did last summer, and music blares. And there's a little color like laser light show inside the little rotund area where Lincoln is. And then he finally... Well, it's just the statue itself. It took a lot of work. It was a 12-14 billion dollar project. And then he turns around, shakes his booty at you one last time, turns around, sits down, puts his hands on the arms of the chair, and he sits there for another 45 minutes. You have to wait another 45 minutes, they brush the crowd away, the new crowd for the new group come in, and then they, you know, put the nickel, everybody has to put a nickel in the machine until so many hundred nickels are there, and then, you know, actually there's a slot for each one, not one slot for all the nickels. And then once enough nickels are in place, he gets up and he shakes his booty again. I didn't know this. See, that's why we had to have people with guns to threaten people away from the national monuments that we all paid for. And they're the property of the American people, not the pigs in Washington. Isn't that fascinating? See, I didn't know. It's just like, you know, there's so much that just has to be done to maintain that big stone. Really not all that well done and not that well executed World War II monuments. It's an insult really to World War II veterans, but hey, you got something. You know what I mean? One of the owner's mark of one of the local gun stores here, we've mentioned him. He was building 223 ammunition. He still is selling it right out of the store there. Just to the west of Big Rapids there on M20, he was on the television talking about, well, this isn't even really going to hurt gun sales unless you're dealing with, well, he didn't directly say, but a class III, he said, unless you're dealing with things like machine guns or cannons or bazookas, you know, when he was, he went on for a minute like that, and he said, those types of permits generally take six or eight months at any rate. So even if you were to think about applying for a federal permit for your machine gun or your cannon or your bazooka, well, today or tomorrow it really isn't going to matter because that's going to take six or eight months anyway. But he did mention that, hey, the rifle approval, handgun approvals, just going, you know, bing, bang, boom, just like they always have. It's not like it's affecting gun sales down to, well, if, again, if you're a class three fellow, and have that extra $200 to pay in tax on sometimes what's going to be a $20,000 or $30,000 gun. I wonder what M2s are going for now. I haven't really looked, but I'll tell you what. It used to be we could buy a full kit for $600, guys, and with a little bit of effort and a side plate properly riveted, you could have a Mah-Doos together for about $850. Yeah, but those days are when you'd want to write home tomorrow No, we wouldn't really tell everybody about but you know actually the the other thing is you buy the m2 kit and there are a lot of semi-auto m2s out there Because there were in fact Velcro arms made both Browning 1919 a fours in semi and they made m2s and a lot of guys out there have those semi-auto guns because those kits were so cheap of course now the last time I priced a model I think it was up around 3,000 so And I'm sure that's for the lowest end because there's other prices quoted for that. And God knows, brownings went from $125 a kit to whatever the hell they are. Now, if you can find them. And all the accoutrements accordingly. The only good thing I've seen barrels out for $60 to $80 again. What condition varies, and there are mostly .308, not .30 out of 6 now. Which means, again, what you're seeing are the NATO inventory barrels that are, you know, spoddily showing up. Which is next thing but like you said unless it's something really unique Gee, it's amazing how they're more than happy to keep all that all the system just seems to be running on maybe it's just dead weight I mean, it's like like we said the the dinosaur head and the you know in the front got shot and the brains been blown out But there's a butt brain that just pushes the dead weight along for a while now the butt brain can't last for very long without the head brain and the head brain can't last very long without the butt brain and But what's happened is that one is dead and the other one is just kind of slugging along going push, push, push, push, push, push, push, push, push. Yeah, it's kind of reminding the body to walk. Yeah, until it just can't do that anymore. Yeah, and that'll be all she wrote after that so just something to think about there I really believe that's really you know where we're headed right now all the stuff that is going on a Couple of things and you know I wasn't being facetious about you know suppose the way they're sounding if you listen to the Bemoners and the yappers and the controlled media you'd swear to God that there were a half a million bodies lying in the street in Washington right now It's like I was laughing my arse off listening to some of this stuff these people were putting into some of the Conversations and some of these blogs and it's like I just had to make a comment It's like even if this were true, and I doubt any of it, and we know better We need like I said 75% of the bureaucracy needs to be shut off now and the 25% that's left will be cut in half Progressively and then that again cut in half yet again The bloated pig is too big The sow can't move the sow is useless to us. It really like is how you went down I went out on the street again. Now the mail showed up today. I liked the little poster guys. Thank you for our friends the Facebook page somebody posted it with one of the Facebook pages and It's a picture of Willy Wonka, you know Gene Wilder with the crazy eyes where he's looking sideways. He's got that really crazy Smirky grin on his face turned on And the top line says, so you're telling me two weeks ago that you had all the money you needed to bomb a country and start a war, but today, the bottom line down below the line says dot, dot, dot, but today you're telling me you don't even have enough money to deliver the mail? Imagine you died. Think about it, and it's true. There's the epitome, these pigs. This is an example of these hypocrites, these pigs. A few weeks ago, they were all ready to send you all off to bleed and die so they could murder Christian women and kids in Syria so that the white slave trade Israelis and the white slave trade Saudis could grab the women, found the little boys, and rape the little girls, and we would all be paying for it. Up the eyeballs beyond beyond our forehead drowning and yet more debt But and that would have been just fine and would we not still have hit the same problem. We're seeing right now here Would this not still be the same issue guys? So isn't it amazing how that that traitor that liar the pieces of filth can't really call him a traitor He's not an American anyway that foreign agent that bum foreigner that's in the outhouse That POS there, Satoro, slash, you know, the guy who got all that money for being a foreign exchange student, who repeated over and over again on government forms that he was a foreign exchange student, who if that's what he said, he has no qualification to be President of the United States in any way, shape, or form, think about it. So he's not an American, so he's not treason. He's an unregistered agent of a foreign power working against the benefits of the United States and anybody who helped put him into office is cooperating in treason. That's treason. To participate in putting him into office. And I said this how many years ago when all this BS was going on all we have to do is look at it this way if everybody can talk about and questions everything it has to do with his qualification and anybody who participates in bringing him into office is involved in treason. See how that works? Him? No, he's a foreign national. He's just working as a foreign agent for the you know, Yehudi trash that bought him and the Yehudi trash that set him up. And all of them mostly being foreign dual citizenship status from the Ford Foundation, you know Jewish mob there and a whole bunch other sheisters and The Chicago mob Jewish mob, etc. So Wow Other than that we do have a whole bunch of other people that obviously need to be arrested and put in jail and a bunch of are in the Senate Because they're not one of them properly challenged and properly protected the Constitution per their oath That in and of itself makes all of them filthy rotten liars across the board So there's the there's why again If tomorrow they were all gone how and why would we cry? I guarantee that we got more enough Americans that the system would that we would like to put back in place the way it belongs Would run just fine and without the parasite. That's why they won't they won't do themselves in we would hope I would hope they become so neurotic someday Don that they just blow their own brains out jump up, you know Can't wait that long can you know because it's a whole problem because these kinds of neurotics are clingers, you know I'm gonna give me suicide if you don't give me my money. Well, we're not giving your money. I'm gonna do it Listen, I might do it next week. I'm waiting for the money. Got me some more money And so next week rolls around and hey, it's a Mayan holiday to look it's a 22nd of December do it. Come on. Do it do it Use the knife man. I know that's swatch an egg remember There will be blood yeah well anyway, Donna tell you what its weapons Wednesday, sir and For everybody out there listening it has been a beautiful day. It is a special day I think you might have the tool on hand. We're at the bottom of the hour there. Oh great Let's do this the magazine. Well is empty and that slide is locked back and here with the magazine in one hand and The magazine well is now full and so is the chamber. Now I'm going to drop that magazine well and that chick that's going down and back. Guess what? The magazine is full and the chamber is full. I do like my 1911. God bless John Moses Browning. It is a Weapons Wednesday on the second day of October. Oh, by the way, the perimeter is secure and there's plenty more where that came from. And that means we can offer equal opportunity, coercive force. By the way, we have Washtenaw County here. We have an anti-gun slash anti-personal defense meeting going on at the county level. I don't know how we're going to deal with this yet, but we should have people on the ground there. Somebody's listening. It's a little west of me that might be able to make it. Anyway, it's going to be ongoing and we've got people that are going to be there to take names, ID who's pushing this. That way we know who's who in the suit. Whenever you get a freebie like this where you can ID all of your enemies, it's a real good idea to attend and just smile and wave a lot, guys. License plate numbers. That's right. This is one of those things where you get to, again, watch all the snakes and rats in motion so you know who to blame when the time comes. Because that is very important. Oh, I didn't do any of that. Oh, strange right here on this date. You were the one pushing and promoting this very bill. Oh, I didn't! It wasn't me! It was somebody else with my name! Well, I got a picture of you here, too. Look, it's in the camera. That's you. Yeah, yeah, even yeah. Same ugly, same ugly face. Yep, tell ya. So, I guess it was you that's guilty of the charges that are presented against you for your treason. As it is, again, this is part of the big push. This is not accidental, guys. We've got the next wave and anti-gun stuff coming up, and they're trying to disarm. They want everybody as disarmed as possible before the Communists start their bloodbath. What they perceive is going to be their we're going to all get caught off guard and not know that they're going to try and murder a whole bunch of us. Well, no, we can see the writing on the wall and we know exactly what fifth column groups are involved. Also who they're going to use for their sandbags, you know, for their organic sandbags to take a bullet. The important thing is to know who's pointing the finger to order them to do it. Who's got the magic pointy finger and we'll make sure we cut that off and stuff it up there ours when the time comes well along with whatever other attachments and We'll do it sideways because most of them prefer if it was you know They're used to stuff like that happening to them physio, you know in the food regard to their physiology So you have to make it painful that simple anyway Don weapons Wednesday couple of things here real quick You know something somebody asked me about is well mark if I'm building a 45 Well, what kind of sites should I be looking at? And I know that there's all kinds of micro-adjustable, and I've used micro-adjustable competition sites, etc. I'm going to point out, guys, that if you're looking at building a combat weapon, you want all of your sites to be as, you know, again, shall we say, unobstructive as possible. But the one point that can hang up is your siting system. Unless you again remember to make sure that all of the components that support the gun may allow it to be free and clear. Micro-adjustable or box type or even ghost type sites are actually high riders. And for most of what you're doing, really aren't needed. A standard set of military, you know, notch and post sites will do just fine. A streamlined or contoured front blade, it would be preferred. Take a look at what Colt did with his original pistol. And everybody else is, of course, modified. There's some really great self-illuminating sites. There's all kinds of solutions. So you've got to pick and choose there. But remember, if you go with something that's a little higher silhouette, you have to take a look at your carrying system to ensure that you're not going to hang and snag at a critical point. So you've got to experiment. This is something that when you want you commit to that, whatever you're gonna do, I'm happy that you got a 45 or a 9 millimeter or whatever you're gonna get. I don't care. Get a hand cannon, okay? But if you're building that 1911, it's a field grade 1911, which is what I would be building now. I wouldn't be building anything hyper tight, guys. I know you watch videos, and I've recommended you to do it, showing some of these kids doing tack driving with these handguns. They're very, very clean, very, very well tuned, and they're tight. The problem is they're also finicky, and the 1911 wasn't designed to be finicky. It was supposed to be a little bit of a rattle gun so that it could take the dirt and battlefield detritus that you typically will run into and still operate first time every time and offer reasonable accuracy at normal engagement ranges. Now, The sighting system because I know that one of the other directions people go down is aim points, you know red dots, you know, etc, etc. No name brand or a name brand And even optics, you know, can there are now short scopes that you're seeing short optics and again as I mentioned the ghost systems all of these Put the weapon about another well actually the height of a slide taller in Most cases which is another thing that becomes an encumbrance If you're in a panic situation or if you're in a close-quarter situation, consider if the handgun is going to be your primary, I can understand that. Okay, I can understand building up the way you want. And some people, I believe, are going to use the handgun as a primary depending upon their mission, what they're doing. But if you're looking at carrying the pistol as a backup, the basic combat iron sight is still probably going to be your best choice even for a home build. They're out there, they're cheap, you can get them in stainless, you can get them in finished stainless. In fact, that seems to be the big thing, not just in the weapons industry now, but I noticed something. I've been getting nails for free. A lot of them, different ways, especially where they're tossing stuff out at construction sites and such, and they get rid of what's left over, and they throw it out, and then you scrape it back up and put it all together. Even in finish nails right now, stainless with a matte finish or a coat finish is the norm now. not aluminum with finish but stainless with finish and stainless goes with everything the cool thing is if you buy stainless of course it's not going to break off rust off right away to last for a longer period of time the conventional carbon or aluminum but Interestingly enough even in that market you're seeing now stainless with a fixed Carbon or powder coat of some kind that changes the color of the stainless so it's not just metal hanging out there now Traditionally people liked that but apparently now the the the invoke thing Don is to hide the stainless. Heaven forbid people should know you've got that shiny stainless stuff there. Well the neat thing is that it means also a lot of other coats have come up that are in the industry for finishing those stainless steel parts. So if you have like that site and you're worried because I can show you I'll give you an example If you watch the ambush video that is featured on our Liberty Tree Radio YouTube page Watch the equipment and the weapons that are being carried You might notice that there are some stainless steel barrels and a few magazines exposed Note that in that twilight type lighting What stands out now just I want you to watch the video gee I guess would be kind of nice and it's ambush. It's on our it's ambush It's on our Liberty tree radio page our Liberty tree radio channel on YouTube. It's the feature video We put up there. I'll be changing it up pretty soon, but it's easy to find right now. It's got about a million 700,000 hits I'd say we did pretty good with that down cool But the thing is that it's a good way to show you some of the things I've talked about for years. So even if you have stainless, unless it's in storage, it really won't make any difference. If you smack it with a little bit of paint, even if it's spitters, and you don't get enough paint to cover everything, maybe it's the last of a can, man, I've got to cover this with something. As long as you flatten out the basic finish, you're going to reduce dramatically the visible reflective surface. And even flat matte finish, you still get a, you know, it's light. It's just that it's a light. It has some reflective color, just the nature of metal and what it does when it's raw. unless it rusts and then you'll get rusty red eventually and brown and pock marks and you know well parts falling off and all the embarrassing things you do that way but with stainless you do have finishes now and for these small parts recommendation if you look around you'll find in the industry they have brush paintable where you can do touch-up so if you have a little site like you put the slide the rear sight and tap it in like tuck tuck tuck tuck to the rear of that 45 slide and then you set your new front front blade slate and they're stainless, well, you can eliminate all of that contrasting color with whatever tactical color you want to use. and browns and greens and lomes and every shade is available but what I've seen so far Don, I mean you can get every color of all the lawn furniture out there just about and that seems to be the shade ranges that they go with and so you've got some really good tactical colors to cover stuff up with and it's designed to lock onto the crystalline matrix of the stainless steel and that in and of itself is the problem that's why paints on stainless have always been iffy because the nature of how stainless seals itself up. It's why stainless is stainless because of the chrome and the other components higher or lower depending on which of the 500 and some stainless steels are used. Some are a little more adhesive than others, some are more porous and allow for attachments. Anyway, I know you've got stuff covered there. Jump in there please. What have we got you're in? Well, I've still got to echo and I'm not certain. Go ahead and keep talking. We'll see. We'll work it through. I think it's still there. I thought it might be fixed for a moment. But we do have a couple of callers and I think that if I go on in just a moment here, the echo is gone on this end. As you talk, we're adjusting. So go ahead. Right. Again, so we're done there. That's cool. We talked earlier in the day about initial stance. You know, see the threat, perceive the threat, be ready as the threat becomes more and more apparent. Again, sometimes that's a motion away from in order to create that distance. That's the thought line that's happening there in order that you have the time to deal with the threat. Creating that distance, the distance that is your choice, is a real good thing to learn to recognize, to become familiar with that phrase. just reaching out to, you know, treat somebody like Homer treats Bart, you know, both hands around their throat and squeezing as hard as you can. Or creating that distance, where do you want them and the maximum distance of the capability of the rifle team. So that creating that distance or using that distance, you guys, was the basic thought line of the morning. You need to, that's something that you need to work on polishing. That's something you need to become better at because creating that distance and keeping that distance that forces you to be more aware of your surroundings and it also offers you by doing that, it's hard to get away from someone when they're holding onto your belt. Need we say more? If you can create that distance and use it like a boxer, fighting another man using that to have that motion in and out when you want one can also use that recognition of distance and where they are let alone the other abilities that are arrayed around you to just slip right through or to actually even use them to butt heads against each other now that's that's more that's a higher form of warfare there for certain but that was the whole thought line this very morning if you were listening this morning you guys creating that distance on an individual level, on a rifle team level, on a squad, on an army. The distance that has to be dealt with in order to effectively neutralize the threat. Now that's really, that isn't even something that's on a lot of... Army these days neutralize the threat is you know the civilian nice way of saying well, we're gonna kill the opponent You know that's more like army or you know real warfare words. We're going to kill the op force Which is you know that's like you're winning at the game That's one that's another thing that we have to reference here because you know it's good to be winning And this goes back over to the cowboy thing. We're going to stick the gun through the window. We're not going to do anything until we perceive the threat clear and open and everybody else does well. That's not going to get you to the end of the day there, cowboy. We can go on and on about this. We've got a couple callers waiting. But we did talk for a while on the motorcycle thing. all captured on helmet cam or whatever. What's being shown you guys, I don't know if you can even see that whole thing on YouTube or wherever, somewhere on the internet mark, but a portion of the initial contact the guy in the car just runs somebody over. Right, they're heavily cobbling and everybody needs to point this out. Down there is a complete example of the video showing the biker intentionally slowing his vehicle down on the expressway to far below trying to jam this guy up thinking he's going to lock him up. He looks right back. In fact, the guy is driving with his head backwards facing the driver of the car while he stomps on the brakes and reduces speed by taking his hand off the accelerator on the bike. He intentionally is trying to create an incident. He in fact is trying to lock the vehicle up or create a problem for the car. Well, in any case, the guy that was under the van was being charged with, the prosecutor was charging him for something. But now it looks like they're going to charge a guy in the car. Well, actually, every place so far else I've seen is they're saying they're not going to. So if they're saying that in the control media, it's interesting they were lamenting about, you know, because, well, these poor guys, all they were doing was all those poor bikers were doing. Don is taking their helmets and beating on the car, and they were breaking the window on the side where the two-year-old was, and everybody's just supposed to love them. Those poor bikers. All they were doing was, well let's see, they blocked the car in what was basically an impasse point when the guy, in fact, virtually brought the guy to a stop. They brought the guy's car. Now think about this. Look at the terrain. See, this is what everybody needs to ask right off the bat. How is it they got down to zero miles per hour? How did that happen guys? The guy in the car didn't want to do that and sure as hell he was at traffic speed. You watched the whole video and challenge everybody. These pigs in the media, the swine, the filth in the media. This is the best example of propaganda editing that you can possibly find. Because oh look the poor guys getting run over. Well where are they? Are they at a four-way stop intersection in downtown New Jersey? You know, like Atlantic City or something? Are they? No, they're not. Look at the traffic signs. Look at the three lanes. Three lanes of stinking road and these pigs on the bikes couldn't stay, you know, civil on the highway. That's the problem I have right off the bat with this. And again, once they started thugging up on his car, he had his wife and he had his two-year-old daughter with him. Hell, he's lucky it wasn't us. I would have been running him over left, right, up and down. I'd have made a point to get more of them knowing I better get as many of them as I can the first sweep and then start decimating them. That's what gets me. They were dealing with what they thought was a limp-risted yuppie that they could terrorize, beat up, and then laugh about later. That's what this whole thing was about. I've watched that video now several times, and each time I watch all the components, pay attention to all the signaling going on to set the thing up and where they picked to do it. Look at the surroundings. Now thank you for bringing up here because the more I ever time I watch this like oh I wish somebody had the gun one of these time just mow these suckers down I Really would be and again will put a good no no no because you'd make sure that as many more dead real quick And we'll you know we'll see how many the other brave when they're in a big gang start dying well Do you want to be next? Personally if you know again if you're fighting a situation like that I'd make sure I dropped as many rounds right into the center of mass of the throng that was there so as many of them as got hit got hit as possible knowing that you better start making lots of casualties. So yeah, the whole propaganda scam there, no, anybody who watches that all the way through, that's why they don't want to show that all the way through, especially the instantly, what started this whole thing was completely fabricated by those characters on the motorcycles. And then it's like, who me? Now, you know, again, had they pulled him out of the, with what they were planning on doing, it looks like they wanted to beat him down there on the highway. Here's what would have been fascinating. Had that happened on the expressway, would it have even gotten any coverage? Or would it have been covered up like all the other flash gang operations we've reported on all over the country? What do you want to bet it wouldn't even been covered Don would even gotten any meat there wouldn't have been anything it'd have been luck yuckin up about it and high-five and how they'd beat the white the guy and his wife down and Yeah, even smacked the kid a little bit show him whose boss. Oh wait a minute dick van Dyke's car burst into flames. Yeah I'm serious it did. Yep Well, I'll tell you what before we go to farther guys. Well anything go ahead Don anything else, please jump in there Well, I don't want to take, I know we've got a couple of callers and maybe we've got someone that wants to, you know, come on board. We've got most of 10 minutes left before the top of the hour, so rather than be stingy with the time, if we've got a caller once, you know, question, comment, hey, star six will unmute you. And again, do we have a caller? We had some noise. I thought we had another person in the back. We might just have patient listeners, and if we do, that's not a problem. Okay, it is again, let's run this out to the basis here, Weapons Wednesday. You know, you guys, we talked about road raids here, what was it a week or two ago here in Michigan. A guy being tailgated across the state on 96 there and pulls into a, leaves the expressway and immediately pulls in, how, but this is how it is expressed, leaves the expressway and immediately pulls into a car wash where the guy that was tailgating on the expressway followed him right into the car wash and each of these guys got out and well according to the survivors you know the wife and mother-in-law in the well when the guy got out of the car in front the guy got out of the car and back and started shooting at the guy in the car in the front and the guy in the car from the front got out his gun both legal guns there I find this kind of you know state of Michigan said they were you know crazy enough I mean you know not insane enough to each carry a gun and well they kind of you know took that to the I'm gonna test that theory right to the very end didn't they we've talked about this and we you know it's almost laughable you guys we talked about mark II I know it you didn't come up with it you reminded me of that phrase most of you have heard it before that social Darwinism you know everybody should carry a gun you've heard it said here before that way we can deal with the zombies because man they're getting so much faster At any rate, I didn't want to go. But you guys, it comes down to basic responsibilities. The guy that was tailgating, the guy knew that he had a gun in his pocket. He didn't know the guy in front of him had a gun in his pocket. One would very well conversely say, we've talked about both sides of the coin. We did that earlier in the day, didn't we? Now again, gunplay is not a fun place to be when you're not shooting at enemies of the nation. You know, shooting at somebody because, well, he was tailgating me or because I thought I'd tailgate him and he made me say, why, I hand me, before we even stop, I'm gonna urinate in this bucket here. You know what I mean? So again, you know, people can get down, there's a phrase there, so P-O'd, you know, that, er, I'm gonna show him my gun for a completely, totally and utterly useless reason. Now, you know, we've addressed this before and it would be really good not to be in jail. for a whole bunch of reasons as, as the example a little while ago, it would be good to be killing enemies of the nation, enemies of the Republic, instead of, you know, the tailgater. And they found, found, what you got going on? Oh, hi. I was, I understand that you are a big FAL fan and I was curious and getting one and I've been trying to do some research and there's so many of them in so many different fights. I was trying to understand the best one I could get for about a grand or a less. Like DSA or M-Bell or Enterprise. Which one do you think that's the grand or so? Well, I appreciate your confidence, but I have to direct that to Mark. Mark would be able to address that. Well, as far as the kits go right now, you know what? You're bringing up the FNFALs. The FALs right now, they seem to be a little, there's a little watershed of them that have come in. The L1A1s were pretty common for quite some time, and I noticed that there's a little percentage. I'd say 40% of what came in are L1A1s or Aussie variants. The imbells are very well made. The imbell parts kits, if you can get an imbell receiver, which they're still out there, semi-auto. You can build a nice gun all in Bell right now, and I'd recommend it They were as well made as any euro gun on the planet in fact their metallurgy Matches anything that Germany makes I've got I've got in Bell fighting knives from back when they first introduced them in the late 70s One's an Imbel Close-In like a utility dagger, you know, fighting like, fighting close-in, short fighting knife, like a Gerber Mark II. Also the Imbel Divers Knives. They were, they made a combat knife version of their divers knife that really is nice. That was the first of their new steel when they really upgraded their steel industry. About the same time they were already producing a new line of FN FALs and that's the parts that are coming out now. So the imbell is a good choice. Again, as far as what companies to go to, actually I believe, I'll tell you two places to check, and I don't know if they have any left, but Royal Tiger I know they've got some FAL stuff sitting there right now. ApexGunParts.com has FAL, but how much of it they have left? They had a bunch of it come in. They were individually listing the kits, and I noticed a lot of them were gone very quickly, so they were probably really pretty. The M-Bell slash the Argentine, any of the Argentine or the, in fact Paraguay and Uruguay did some work there too, I think four of them is subcontracting. I was joking about that earlier with a surplus dealer by the way. But the Argentine FALs were just as effective and just as reliable as the Brit ones that they faced, you know, in the Falklands where they faced off against each other, remember, years ago. And that's what you're buying are Falkland era FAL parts that are coming out for whatever reason. A lot of them are virtually new kits. So apparently there's some of those that came out of the random revolution market and they diverted them towards the US. So that would that would be one pretty much all the FAO parts out there. There's nothing that's junk Nobody that committed to the FAO they were either using original machinery or again they were a contract company and typically Fabric Nationale de Armes de Guerre or the Brits brought engineers and technicians in and they set the plants up and they got them running and trained the technicians and So in fact remember the Germans had the FN FL 2 they had their their you know G rifle and it was it's very well made yeah, the STG 58 is the latest is the last model and I love that rifle problem is that the kits are gone crazy, and I don't know who even has any right now The STG 58 if you're bite off the shelf if you might find somebody's got one that they're gonna Maybe let go of that'll probably be your best bet is find a complete rifle that way But magazines are the issue if you get them if you buy a rifle from somebody who's getting rid of one Grab all the mags that he has unless he's made by question actually I was under the assumption because I watched a video that I think you had made on YouTube and it was about the set knees and the HK 91 the feature 91 in the yeah, FAL and that those are the ones that I've been trying to do I understand that the H.T.91s and the PTR91s both you can't reload like modern day brass rounds. The fluted chamber issue has been a problem. You can reload that brass. It's just that most people don't like it because you have to be aggressive with it. Which means you want to go with carbide dies. The big advantage with the HKs is, again, it was designed for steel case ammo, number one, which is why that fluted chamber is there. And there's lots of steel case ammo that's cheaper than the ball ammo. And the other thing is cheap mags. Where your plus is, is the magazines right now. To be quite honest, if it was a choice of the three, I was trying to put battlefield weapons into people's hands. The HK91 would be the first choice for the moment simply because you can get a PTR for a little under a thousand, and there's no .308 that's not about a thousand dollars right now. Even the .308 and peppers are, you know, hitting just below that. But even though you might save a hundred dollars there, magazines cost so much that you're right back up to the same price range. You know, what you saved in the rifle, you're losing magazine price. And I love the VEPR. I think the VEPR's in 308 are good weapons, but again, understand you'd use them more like a sniper rifle. Go ahead. I hope the magazines were interchangeable with the PTR that sent me. FAO? and M78-308s. We've got models of those mags and what they're doing is actually custom building those mags right now. So those can be built for the, and they will work with the Vepers. But the only other thing was there was a project where you had another American company and I think what they were doing is they were going to be making 308 Vepr mags in the US. 20 rounders if they're smart. That's, I wouldn't go any bigger. Man, you could go smaller. 10 rounders would be fine because again, treat the Vepr as a sniper rifle. It's just because magazines are going to be pricier. Right now, as long as the HK mags are $2 apiece, you might find PTR 91s as little as $800, $800, $850 if you look around. Gun show and it was more for like a grand and there's a little room room in there to like get it, but almost grabbed it was a GI model Yeah, I that would be fine I would go that way only because again You're finding a lot cheaper steel case ammo the PTR 91 the HKs were built to handle steel case the Germans knew that within six months of going to war they were going to be in steel and If they went to war, they'd be going to steel almost immediately for production of ammunition. So all their guns are engineered that way. Go ahead, I'm sorry. I didn't even think about that, about the steel rounds. I actually might start standing back towards a P-TAR-91 GI model. I heard that it's like iffy on some ammunition, like it only likes some. Like five or something like well the Russian stuff bites the Russian stuff is sharp. It's a dog biter It's actually a little little hot so the cool thing is it shouldn't have any problem working that PTR 91 action Ate that HK rifle will will sing it here's the way to do it the nice thing is you can buy brown bear Silver bear you know all these different buy a sample box of each and cycle it through the weapon and see what it does In other words, do a test once you got it, figure out what you like and I just buy the living snot out of it. But I also buy brass case because brass case will run through it all day. We've reloaded. I used to pick up all the fluted cases. We've got guys here in the area that have been buying HKs for years. And on the range, the brass gets left behind. We've reloaded that brass without any problem. Now the only other thing is you might get a slap strike and sometimes the FLs do the same thing. You get a slap strike on the side of the case. The only thing you have to pay attention there is to make sure it's not too heavily dimpled. When you resize and you full resize the case, you're going to compress and you're going to strip part of that ribbing out, but you're also going to compress the case a little. It will not load as many times as a standard chamber, but it will reload. In other words, you're going to be stressing the case in different ways. And eventually that means you're going to get probably a throat crack or you're going to get a shoulder crack sooner because you're flexing that brass to a greater degree where you're compressing it and then it expands and you're compressing it and expands. Do you want the surplus in though? Well yeah, it's still just the idea that the brass itself is taking a lot of abuse because you're never going to line up those little ribs the same way twice. See how that works? And what that does is creates a harmonic ripple through all of that brass. The brass is malleable. It takes a lot of abuse. So you'll get a few less reloads, but you can still reload it as long as you recover it. That's been this has been an argument for 30 years that I know of about HK brass and there's a lot of guys in fact You'll find in the old survival mags shotgun news articles Where everybody discussed the idea that well, you know, you can't reload that brass. It's like yeah, we can all day It's just understand its limitations because progressively you have to inspect your brass, as we've talked about, to ensure that you don't have any malfunctioning brass. One of the reasons for it now, more so than any other time, is lack of quality control by everybody. They are hiring minimum wage, they are hiring foreign workers, they are hiring people that don't speak English, they hire people that are told run the machine until the wheels fall off it and that's in the United States. So my attitude is that I would be inspecting, you know,
