But here in America, the levees might make and the lotta gets into the lowlands. Well, there's a reason we call them lowlands. What? Don't build your, uh, Yeah, don't build your house in bottom land and don't build it in a flood trough for mountainous, flash flooding areas. Everybody used to know that. Well, let's look at the surrounding terrain. Is there a reason? Here's my best example of this. There was, I watched, what was it? Oh, it was Hell on Wheels. There's a series called Hell on Wheels. It's about building the train, the least west trains back in the day. And this guy builds this house and it's, oh, it's a real great place. It's next to the river. And I'm looking at it, I'm going, that's bottom land. No, that's not, because if you look around and you notice the house, you'll notice that where it's built, look off to every once in a while they show you like a general shot. Why is there a float line that's higher than the house over there by the trees? Everybody know what a float line is? It's where when you have high water on the river, all the debris that's left from the flooding that gets stuck in the tree line. I could take you right here to the Huron River and show you the two levels of this river. I can show you the low point, which is typically during the summer, and I can walk you right. In fact, before you ever get to the edge of the river where it is right now, I can show you the high point which is where it will be and that's that spot that's about a good 15 to 20 feet closer to wherever you're walking before you get to the present shore. It has logs the size of my leg and chunks of tree and all kinds of stuff. And that's the real plane you need to pay attention to. If you're going to build, you better make sure you're above that or you're not in the line of destruction with regard to flooding, this runoff from, you know, spring fall, you know, and especially when you're blessed with lots of rain, fresh water falling from the sky, you don't complain about it. You plan in advance to make sure you're not stupid enough to build in line with it. Hello McFly. Those people came up with a solution. In many areas, the flooding is random and it's cyclic over a 50 or 60 year period. But if you pay attention to man's written history in recent times, you can pretty well calculate what's going to go on. If you read the environment, you can also do that too. Let's see. Gully. on a Roya. Let's see, I've got sand, chunks of log buried on a 45 degree angle in the sand, and it looks like it's been washed by something. I mean, that's why they call it a wash. Now, you can enjoy mountainous conditions. You can enjoy the desert. You can enjoy the largest group of freshwater lakes on the planet. We live there, right here where we are. And I won't complain about rain, ever. I don't. Well, I'll soak to death. Well, you're in Michigan. Maybe I guess not. It's just we're used to living with it, kids. Yeah. It's part of our environment. Everybody else, oh my goodness, well it was terrible because we're trying and it's just dehydration and hoot. And then all of a sudden it's like the mountains or the deserts do what they normally do. Flood. And they go to a river which also floods. So Don, don't worry. We got another one coming up here. And doesn't that Colorado aquifer mean that that feeds the Colorado River? Yeah. Doesn't that mean the Colorado will be replenished and we'll be seeing more water in the aquifer that includes all those places downstream that everybody says we're dying? Yep. Well, are we gonna hear anything about that? You think when it gets better or you think they're gonna shut up completely about that? Well, they might even have to let so much water through the dams that water gets back down to the... See, señor. So in other words, well, it's terrible. Look at the panic in the dr... No. The actual cycle is occurring. Let's think this through. You see, we're not supposed to do what I just did. Well, that means that the rest of Colorado might actually be reinforced. Right. And looks really good because all that water is gravity sucks. It's going down range, right? Still works, yep. Yeah, I'll bet you the gravity switch. Couldn't find the gravity switch.
