Mark Koernke discussed the Colorado legislative recall election where two Democratic senators lost their seats over gun control votes, analyzing the contradiction in one senator's claim that 80% of constituents supported his actions despite losing reelection. The show covered ammunition pricing and availability for AK-74 and AK-47 platforms, recommending ball ammunition for reliability in militia training. Koernke and co-host Don provided detailed technical guidance on machining polymer AR-15 lower receivers, including drilling procedures, lubrication techniques, and legal considerations regarding ATF regulations on parts and assembly. The episode emphasized proper indexing, measurement, and sequential machining procedures to avoid distortion of polymer materials.

We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrant's labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You vie permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. And that means that, well, as you know, the doofuses and goofuses in the District of Criminals continue with what they're doing. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, tricksy, blah blah blah blah, tricksy. If you're not familiar with that, guys, do you remember Larson with the Far Side cartoons? There's the little two panel piece that he did side by side. It's what you say to the dog. Bad tricksy, bad tricksy. Don't do that again. We got Don with us there too. Sorry about that. I don't think the bad guys liked what I was saying. Blah blah blah. Anyway, real quick, the Far Side cartoon there for everybody. You have Larson. The one image shows the guy wagging his finger at the dog. And all you see is the dog from the back of his head looking up at you, right? And you see the back of his head and he's looking up at the owner. And he goes... Bad, bad, bad Trixie. Don't do that again. Don't chew on my shoe. Bad Trixie. Trixie, you are very bad. What the dog hears. Okay, is what the next panel says and it's the same image. Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, Trixie. Blah, blah, blah. Trixie. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Trixie. Trixie. Blah, blah, blah. Trixie. So that's basically how you look at it with what you're hearing out of Washington with regard to the babble from the meat puppet. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and have the girl or whatever the chief teleprompter or writer is have her stand there and give the speech. Yeah. I don't need to hear the meat puppet flap his mouth and lie with whatever BS is generated by somebody else. He doesn't have time to, you know, this is a very important speech. It's really important. You all need to, no he don't. He's not the one that wrote it. If it was important, he'd be the one that wrote it. It's all BS to begin with. He doesn't even have a clue about the subject matter. Has no database to work with, doesn't have the brains to remember or memorize anything. The fool is completely incompetent. Everything about him is a fabrication and a lie. Why in the hell would I want him? I don't need to listen to that fool. All you're listening to is blah blah blah blah blah blah. My hello citizens. Blah blah blah blah blah. And he even lies when he says my fellow citizens. He might as well be blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Because he sure as hell isn't from here. Exactly. Now another thing here real quick, by the way I want to tag something in because Don I know you've got a couple things I want to cover here. Guys, Classic Firearms, I did mention they have ball ammunition, price is about 19 cents a round. So if you go to classicfirearms.com they do have some ball available but also centerfiresystems.com. Centerfiresystems.com. Now the ball ammunition that they have, by the way for you AK-74 operators, Anybody who's using an AK-74 in whatever variations, they've got the 53 grain ball ammo back in stock. It's not $80 a can anymore, Don. It's $209 a can. Oh gosh. But the thing is, it's only $0.19 a round, which still makes it one of the cheapest rounds in the country to fire right now. Oh, we'll get it that way and it puts the smudge... on your face. Exactly. You're still buying it cheaper than the guy who's got to buy, you know, .223 or .308. Buy at least half the price of a .223 or more than half the price, you know, less than half the price. Or... What's the source on that cartridge? That's, uh, well, this is a Russian. This is the same Russian 53 grain we've been getting. That's the Afghan load. Well the 53 grain standard load just like our 55 grain .223 load. So it's a good round, it's ball ammunition, I highly recommend it. There's a bunch of it that just came in and it's with classicfirearms.com. So for you AK-74 shooters don't think I'm not keeping an eye out for that. The rifle was especially cheap and I've been pushing this for the last couple of years for a reason. The weapons were cheap, the ammunition was cheap, and magazines were reasonable. Everything is doubled and tripled in price in that category of weapon. But it has for pretty much everything else. The thermal mags that I told everybody to buy when they were $4 apiece, guys, and you know, a little while even $3 apiece, the average price for those right now is $10. So again, still, well, for a 20 round thermal mag that, you know, everybody goes, what's wrong with it? Well, it's a 20 round mag. the bottom line. They were law enforcement. When they make them for law enforcement, they better work or they don't really, you know, they get mean. Now, everybody's gonna have bigger mags. Well, the cool thing is that then those 20 round mags were cheap because everybody had to have a 30 round magazine, guys. That's what was wrong with them, is that I need bigger. One of those 20 rounders go into pockets real nice and you can carry them all over the place without even carrying web gear and have a whole lot of ammunition on you for the price of concealability which is kind of desirable. You can keep them in an internal vest and they're comfortable and out of the way. Anyway, the point is that the 545x39 ammunition www.classicfirearms.com www.classicfirearms.com It comes down to about, what, 0.1944314 per round. Okay, if you want to split pennies down to the ten thousandths, you know, in the degree, there you go. We'll talk about thousands in a little bit. Wow. Yeah, so it's pretty cool. Anyway, that is the solution. Also, CenterFireSystems.com has 7.62x39 ball ammo. Again, $299 for a case. It's a good price. Ball ammo, it's wolf, I believe. Well, no big deal there. No surprise as far as how it's going to perform. They offer all three projectiles. Ball, saw, soft point and hollow point. And if you're going to buy them and they run out, I would recommend it in that order. Ball ammunition until it runs out, soft point would be the next choice, hollow point would be last. Just something to take into consideration. And again, for all you military shooters, all you guys who are shooting military arms, I would go the ball ammunition for especially your 510 program because reliability. Remember, many of your shooters are new shooters or less experienced. If they haven't handled a lot of weapons, don't incorporate problems or the possibility of problems. If the rifle is a military round, it was engineered for ball ammo, by ball ammo. There's lots of it and again you also have the ammunition to train with. So that's another reason to go with the ball ammo. You've got more ammo to work with and it's your combat load, it's got armor penetration. or at least more penetration than the other two rounds. I know that Powerpoint and Softpoint create horrific casualty production. That's a nice thing. When I'm dealing with an enemy I hate. But in this case, ball ammunition because my shooters need to focus on hits. I'd rather you hit them than miss them. I'd rather you hit them than have any malfunction. So this is just with the foreign made 7.62x39 ammo guys. The stuff that's out there, the hollow point, they're making by nipping a ball round. And I've proved this, we've demonstrated this, we've cut the bullets in half, we know what they're doing, and your better choice is the ball ammunition for reliability. It doesn't mean the other doesn't work. Some of you guys will say, Mark, I've shot thousands of those, yes. And if your weapon is ideally engineered and everything came out of the plant right, that's true. And everything came out of the barrel right. Exactly. And sometimes it doesn't. That's why we got to be careful. We want to make sure the guy, the person that's shooting that weapon is supporting you. If he's off to your right, you want him to keep firing, right? Reliability is the key to that. All ammunition is the key to that reliability with regard to what's in the magazine. And we have Don with us. Real quick here, until we have Don back up, it should be a minute. We'll be here. This is a little micro effect and a reminder guys that we need your help. Problems, issues they need to be taken care of. The micro effect is running because the engineers and all of our good people that are supporting in on the home front and all of our board operator to be support and there's more bills that are going to be compounding here. I know you've got things you want to cover, but I should do this in the traditional format. The Shysters here, okay? This is an NPR piece, you know, National Pan Am Radio, where when I talk to you, I talk to you like you're a five-year-old. Hi, little five-year-olds out there listening to NPR. Well, here's the storyline, and it's for September 11, 2013. Smithle, do Colorado lawmakers lose jobs in recall over gun votes? NPR, voters ousted two Colorado Democratic lawmakers Tuesday in the states first ever legislative recall launched over their support for stricter gun laws after last year's mass shooting. Senate President John Morse and Senator Angela Guerin both lost their jobs in an election seen as a national measure of popular support for gun legislation. Morse faced a tough election in the Republican stronghold of Colorado Springs. Well, there's another way to determine to demonstrate that thought line, and that's not the word I was looking for. But you guys, did you see what one might call rebuttals from the Morse you mentioned, Mark? This is one of the most ignorant, stubborn, just plain plastic people I have ever seen on television. And you know what? He's not an actor. I repeat, he's not an actor. Same fellow we're referencing here. at the election mark, stood in front of a camera and had, well again, that stubborn, there's something good about being stubborn and applied in the right. It's so stubborn, let's flip the word there. Stood in front of a camera and said, well 80% of the people liked what we did. 80% of the people liked what he did. Don't you think that a good portion of that 80% would have voted for office? So again, you know, some people, you mentioned that word earlier, Mark Pablum, some people believe their own lies. Some people believe that, well, the polls say I should win because 80% said this is a good thing. Kind of like Martha Stewart, this is a good thing. So there's so much reflected in this because I wonder where they came up with that 80% number, and I wonder who told it to him saying, well, you're going to get through this. 80% of the people liked what you did. again, there's one thing about living in the real world and there's another about standing in the river up to your, well, your mouth probably in the water and 80% of this is propagating his own life even to the point that it is obvious that he's lying because if 80%, I'm being a bit redundant here, but if 80% of the people in Colorado did really like what he did with the gun laws there, well, Seems like most of those people would have voted for him. He'd have got maybe 70% of the vote and still held office. Only examples, the politicians attempt to hold on to lies, attempt lies, even in the face of a failure, he would propagate that lie and try to believe that you, try to make that you would believe it. This poses the question again, if he is talking down, it is as anything he says to be true because well he's a politician and yet i've granted this mark because around magazines who mentioned that it's historical fact can't hardly believe the politician even at this this falls right over to on the spotlight or falls out this pipeline might be a better way to put it with your politicians tell you via colorado or or any of the other forty nine states or but but but propagating that line eighty percent and i hope it's just prize. The mainstream media even brought that remark. It is a great piece of the puzzle. Many people who do it like this and try to work on someone and before the end of the month, one more person to our side. Thus, if everybody did that, we would double our manpower twice as many more mouths out there in the world. A patriot, a freedom-minded thought. There's something that hasn't been heard right there. Freedom, mind, a lot more people who sit in a chair like can I do, need to run that out. That phrase of freedom-minded, all kinds of things we can talk about the weather and we do with at the beginning of the hour for a moment in order to give that in your neighborhood. You know that connection how's it take? What's going on in your next neighborhood and this is what it's raining in ours today, reach out in that connection. But when you look at it in different ways that connect, it needs to cause politicians And the propagation of the line, even unto the point that it sounds ridiculous, it sounds, if you were, so sitting out of the mouth of the loser in Colorado when he says that 80% of the people supported what we did, it's apparent that 80% of the people did not support what you did, otherwise you'd still have a job. I've heard from the media, well, I heard it on television, so it must be true, that basic thought line. We've, we've, we've example that before. There are a number of people who, because well, if it was on television, it must be true. And if I heard that Colorado politician say it, it must be true. But we need to counter that and we need to point out because see, this is such a basic thing. If it were true that 80, oh, this is, they, they left this joke, pick it up. If we don't use this, we account to be fools. We don't point, ignoring one of the biggest tools in American politics over the last seven days. that might be hyperbole. But you know what? A politician says, 3% of my constituents love what I did, but they didn't vote for me. There's something wrong with that statement, isn't there? It doesn't jive, it doesn't fit, it doesn't become a puzzle piece that can move over place and say, well, look, it fits. When the piece doesn't fit, it must go in a different puzzle or it must be created facetiously. I can sit here and I know someone who go to carve up a puzzle to make them fit. A piece in there and say, well, I, you know, finish up you guys. Out of all these out of all winter is put together. Sometimes he gets, sometimes he would be even so willing to mind to himself. And it's the same thought line that politician lying to himself, lying to America in order to propagate them. 80% of America apparently hates guns, but they do not use. This is a, this is a jewel. This is, this is as if, I mean, if we don't pick them up and use them, propagation of this lie. It is powerful. If we do not do it in such a plain way, 80% of the people, politicians said in Colorado, loved what we did. It wasn't enough, 80% wasn't enough of the vote to keep him in office. There's a basic conviction there, isn't there? If you don't pick and swing, if you don't, different analogies on that, but if you do not make use of the listen to the hour. There for us, it's such a big, big tool. It's as if it's a five pound hammer we can start hitting Colorado politicians over the head with. It is kind of rude to send them out, keep my consistent with the people in Colorado. Loved what we did for them, but apparently they want me back in office. Maybe Mark, he should go a mustache, or maybe he should focus like sideburns, and then people will like him. What his problem is, or maybe Mark will break. We'll be right back, you guys. If somebody has one and you hear boom and you don't hear a bunch of boom, boom, boom, but you hear, or I'm hit, Frank. And even as they hear the idea is that you hit, if you have 10 men, those first 10 rounds going down range with your rifleman should all be hits because that is your place set that's the beginning every round of those first rounds going down range hits something use the math formula with again don't ignore that tool of a tool to write that one down don't forget that use that use that to beat American politicians over the head use that to beat the anti-gunners over the head as you leave here but if you have the portion of the battle but that's this on the table don't pick it up like it's our fault. I almost was bursting when I heard this because I thought, well, this is going to be something really good for the hour tomorrow, really good for the intelligence review. We could talk about this for the next little while, but hey, be redundant. We might mention this again in the next hour. We did hear that set of measure, that hour on that front. We'll talk about, yeah, semi would be a good word, semi-finished pieces of metal. We have work here and there and then they would would be actual real guns or the basis. Oh, and then you've got a real gun. You guys, there are certain procedures when it comes to machine work. If it's done this way, if it's done in this order, it comes out best. And, you know, we want to do things to the best of our own. We don't want to do things so slow or, you know, is the medium there just like half best. We don't want to do it that way, lose to that much more because you do get the idea where I'm going there. Do things in the proper way as machine work or on the baloney. Then you put the baloney right there. Getting a little bit almost into the sublimely ridiculous there. But you guys talk about for the AR variant. Come with, we've talked about jigs, but if you don't, if you're down on buckset, but you still get the lower, going to have indexes where this needs to figure out how big that hole needs to be. You can like that. It's gonna go through that hole while you're drilling. Go right up to the front here because one of the things that you're gonna wanna do, you know, I don't have that bionic eye. When I look at something and things in my mind and it did tell me correct by degree or whatnot, comes in really, really handy. Index it, mark it, lay the part flat up, and then when you bring that drill press down, it would be good to turn the next up a couple sizes up. But while you're doing that, if you're drilling on that plastic, you guys, WD-40 seems to be a real good lubricant for that. When you're done plastic, if you're lubricating it with WD-40, looks as if you're not pressing so hard that you're hogging that out instead of a bit work and drilling it out. No machine work done, it looks as if it's right into the device, right if you're working on it. If you're lubricating it with WD-40. Another thing could be procedure here. And you know when you lay that door rather, you're putting pressure on to the point of that drill. And if you're putting pressure on it, even steel, it might be minuscule of the amount of motion, but plastic yields under for two, doesn't it? Or you can bend it or twist things, things are built to be, then they don't fail. But when you get one, you want to drill all of your holes before you start hogging out, before you start opening up the big areas underneath. Why? Because again, when you lean on that, start to distort plastic ever so slightly. Thousands or thousands of thousands. device. Well, you get drag, you get wear. Now they have the white areas you were you hog out you drill and then you cut out what these white areas you want to do after you've left your hole. Now another thing to touch on here you guys because remember years ago Mark when the ATF would go into somebody's house and they would say well even if the part isn't in the gun you have the part in the house now we're going to charge you with the well that that's a machine gun and and that part over there and that part there and the gun itself and Well, you have the ability to convert that to a machine gun, so we're going to prosecute your own machine gun and you didn't pay that $200 tax. Remember, and it still goes on every now and then. Now, if you guys have the index allow you a little bump in there, it'll allow you to turn it into position. If you do that, these are going to say, well, that's an auto. There are certain holes you don't want to drill and your plastic AR lowers. Another thing to point out here, if you guys have an armorer in your right man for the right job, you know, trades and this and that. But if you've got somebody in your group who issued for 10 of these plastic loaves, that has a burden because well, somebody's going to be looking at that, liver these two, and all of those loaves go to one place, or that they interrupt. That is one of the reasons why Bob Stewart is in jail. Or in a kit, you know, you could buy a home, honey, Griffin's home. But they decided, well, we can't allow that to go on. So they ended up putting him in jail. They still keep him for the charges that resulted in jail. You know, jailhouse, say this. I'm getting a little bit off you guys if you've got an armorer who's pushing on him by having 10 or 40 of these delivered to his I have it delivered to yours have it spread out across your group and then Literally, uh take it to him house and collect them all up and take them to him if you want But you know now we go back to that here's somebody transporting a whole bunch of their paperweights at the time But it goes over to that casting suspicion doesn't it pretty much like this you guys because if they are suspicious Don't you think that next week or next month or as things heat up, they look at you and think that, well, men, we just got to stop this guy from building all them lowers. We know that 94 of them have been delivered to his house over the last six months. See how that works? Why yourself in this timeframe? There'll be plenty of times in the not-do-this-in-the-future when they're looking at you as hard as they can. Only you will have the ability to counter that. So again, look at that issue of self-defense in your group. right now. It's one way to keep too hard at you or your group. Something that's on life right now will be those that are... We've addressed this a number of different ways. One way right there to keep your armorer, the guy who knows how to work on your guns, the guy who knows how to keep your guns working. Another way to keep him, he's a good guy to have around. We gotta admit that. He can build guns up and that could be a good habit to have a good ability to have in your group. Bringing so much so we can run in a number of different directions here. We're going to have to get Larry Pratt more about this because I think you can build more than one gun a year. I'm not certain about that, but again, the right guy for the right job, Larry Pratt, if you'll answer that for us. I think we've answered that already. If I remember rightly, as of late, I can build more than one gun. You guys, if you're going to be building these, so Mark, you know, Ronnie Barrett, he was a carpenter, you guys. He would build houses and other, he was a woodworker. He would build cabinets and houses and things. And because of that, he knew how to bring fractions of an inch. And did you know that when he, that M82, when it was still on paper, he had to pay somebody tens of an inch in two print numbers with that in mind. If you're looking at something that says you need a, you need a whole, you need a three top of my head, I don't, that's just a number that's become, pick up that three 30 seconds, put it in the, you locate, you index that. to just the right place and it's going in exactly the right place and you're pulling that arm down and man you put that three thirty second hole in there and when you're going to put the gun together you find out well that's just a little bit too big or conversely that's just a little bit too small it would be better to try to sneak up on it you know a little bit too small and then ring that hole open to things that the people the other thing is if you get a lower and you don't have any as far as well how big hole need to be. It would be good to have a whole other gun and mic out the part. How big does this hole need to be? And again, through the device, through the device and then back into the part again if something has to be through of the body. That mind, logical step and you'll have a tighter, you'll have a part that is more like what one might call Thank you Mark. We needed to bring that to the hour here real quick. But you guys, even if you're drilling plastic, you need to lubricate it much like you need to lubricate metals when you're... Probably one of the best choices for that is Gibbs, guys. This will not affect plastic, will not affect wood, will not affect leather, other than to preserve it. Gibbs is a precision oil penetrant, you know, slash lubricant. So it would be an optimal choice and as needed. So good point there and again, gives for all the information we come back from the top of the hour here for everybody. The big thing here again is let's not forget Aries Armor dot com. A-R-E-S-A-M-O-R dot com. The Polymer 80% receivers, it would be interesting, well that's another side subject, we do make AR-10 lowers also. And making a Polymer AR-10 lower would be a really good idea. Someone hasn't made a mold for that yet because they've made money hand over fist on the molds for the plastic AR-15s guys. But if that money is spent on an AR-10 receiver, lower and go to town. That would make me very happy. I would recommend everybody start building more AR-10s if you can knock it down to about $45 a receiver if you want to get one complete and papered. or for a hundred dollars get a an air fifteen eighty for an air ten eighty percent oh yeah that would be cool so again solutions guys not just complaining about the problems but when we have the solutions remember there are other issues that need to be addressed for the solution son your number for night vision before we take off here pay that number two three one seven nine six eight four five eight we are at the top and god bless the republic death to the new world order we shall prevail ladies and gentlemen the empire is on the run but we are at the We'll be back in just a few minutes here guys for the third hour of the MSL report. 888-747-1968 is the call in line number.
