Summary
Mark Koernke discussed the Obama administration's push for gun control legislation and Syria military intervention, arguing both represented government overreach and betrayal of American troops. He then provided an extensive practical guide for building an AR-15 rifle from scratch using affordable components and mail-order sources, including specific vendor recommendations, part specifications, and cost breakdowns. The episode emphasized preparedness, self-sufficiency, and constitutional rights while critiquing federal government policies and promoting militia organization.

This far, no further. What are we doing? Politicians. Look, okay, just get any blunt objects together, alright? If you get cornered, bash him in the head. That seems to work out. Keep together, stay sharp, and follow me. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave in this the land of the free and home of the brave The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep Your freedoms gone your courage lost you're no more than a slave in this the land of the free and home of the brave You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number and you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep and dead. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As Iowoki vanished in the mist for whence he came, his words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch him tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave is this still the land of the free? Afternoon ladies and gentlemen, this is the afternoon intelligence report. I'm our krunky One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, southwest, east, and northeast. Well, ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on... LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com. We're on AM and FM microstations, CB base stations, and UltraNet technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. We're in the homework network on Eastern Seaboard from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico. Headed Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, a big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both Pitt 3rd and 5th and our friends in. Colorado, the Civil War state, waving to the left coast where Feinsteinism vomits its wretched filth across the landscape. We turn back to the east, sweep across the plains, leap over the burgeoning banks of the Mississippi and land in the smokies slash the Blue Ridge. With the restaurant crews, grandma teams, okay teams, and the Ma Bell Grammar Consortium of retired telecommunications workers bring us the Golden Spike. Many hands make for light work. A million petticoat junctions. The ability to continue to function when everything else. is offline. Well, it is a mixed day today muggy. You know what? We didn't get dry and dusty. We got warm and muggy and that is the end. Yeah, that is the end of the year. We're doing a test here, I think, aren't we? Yeah, I am. I was trying to get rid of the echo before Don gets up and it Not too bad with me, but there's still an echo there I was listening to one of the archives and I heard it sounds worse on the archives and it does to me Which means it might sound worse going out on the air which I'm hoping it doesn't but the echo just went away So it shouldn't be a problem when dying gets in. All right, so we've balanced the system. We'll see what happens there also a quick reminder for everybody it is weapons Wednesday the date today is the 28th of August it is the fifth year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K 2013 old earth calendar or Mayan crazy town Crazy town calendar. That's right. Did you did we fail to die in the year 2012? Did the 22nd the 23rd the 24th the 25th? Why the end of the year was truly The end, well, of the year, 2012. And then, we went along in 2013. Well, that's a year of doom anyway, because no matter what day we pick, there's a 13 in it! It's Tuesday the 13th! No, it's, well, in this case it's Wednesday, and it's the 28th, but it still has 13 in it, because it's 2013. But that's for all 365 days of the year, so we sure as hell can't be doing well here. On the other hand, let me point something out. The bad guys figured they'd have the guns by now guys you don't think so you take a look at what we just went through in the last eight nine months where before people said oh I just they wouldn't even think about doing that listen I even heard Obama say we're not after your guns and then 24 hours after the election we're coming for your guns No way yes way so Why? Well, the ship is sinking, people. If you have a gun, you can stay in your lifeboat. The government can't necessarily take it because they don't have much better than you do right now. In fact, they're pretty well run by quadriplegic homosexual Eskimos. In other words, the ultimate minorities. In fact, that's all they got. Low IQ, dumb as a box of rocks, twice as thick. desperate for someone else to do all the work and find all the answers. And that's what a socialist is used to. That good people will, even after the socialist gives a bad earth, do the right thing. The socialist takes credit for whatever's done and goes, yeah, yeah, I did all the brain work. When in reality, nobody did anything the way the idiot socialist proposed. We all did it the way it's supposed to be done. And we've been doing this for too long. Walk away. You got a you've got a pig socialist you've got an absolute raven the leftist flaming flaming communist in your midst The only thing you wait for is an order. This is what people did in Eastern Europe. Eventually they learned freeze Don't make a decision don't have a clue follow the last order make sure you know who gave that last order with regard to the communist chain of command and point to the person who was the Communist who wanted all that power That guy right there gave the order. I don't have a clue how things work all I do is follow the order from that character right there that communist right there and That's it the commissar over there the commissar. Yep that commissar that commissar over there. See how that works It's really that you better not be following orders that you know Oh, yeah. Or wrong. Or we will hang you. Right. That's the problem. For the other side, remember that's the only way that they count on the idea that if they can get you to follow the bad orders, then you'll be part of the criminally insane with them. So we're going to avoid that okay? We're going to avoid pretty much all this program And we're going to keep our lifeboats intact to do that. We need to be properly outfitted properly equipped We're not going to have 16 people in the in the boat and do what the globalists do with the who would I kill and get rid of? So that we because because we can only keep 12 people on the boat or 11 people who will they get rid of? Well, first of all, the idea is get motivated and start finding solutions. It should have been better educated to begin with because when you get yourself in a situation, you should have a multiple series of solutions and you have to have a positive mindset to begin with. Yeah, anybody proposes throwing people from the boat. That's the first person to be thrown from the boat. Also, I don't like the one scenario in the, oh, what series is he? He's been watching The Hood. The one that's based after Green Arrow or The Arrow or whatever it's called. Where the father and him are on the lifeboat with the third guy and all they have are the supplies and the lifeboat, which of course includes a fishing kit. But we're not going to be able to survive on the lifeboat. So I'm going to blow the guy away and then take my own life so you can go on. I'm sorry, we'd be fishing. Yeah, congratulations. The third guy here, his job is to hang on to the fishing line. Besides, you might need bait. You can sacrifice a few putt cheeks here and there for bait if you need bait. Come on, a few chunks anyway. See, he's useful after all. I didn't want to think about that one. Anyway, point is that prior piper planting prevents piss poor performance. We've got the thinkers, they have the stinkers now. The situation with Syria is obviously a lie. We know that. Who's involved? The Jewish Mafia and the Jewish Mafia running Obama. Well, those are a bunch of pigs from the beginning. Frankly from the get go. Bunch of sows. Bunch of swine. Yehudi trash that we know. Just simply if their mouth's moving, you know they're lying. And anybody who starts yapping around you about how we are going to war, I'm going to reinforce this again, guys. Go to a recruiting office. I am serious as the day is long. Anybody starts flapping their yap about how they want we're gonna go to war we gotta go well you pull out a recruitment card right in front of everybody you really we What what unit are you with? What? Well, I'm not with any you. What are you talking about? Well, you're saying we like you're gonna jump in there. We're going to war so you're gonna lead, right? Well, hold on. Wait a minute. Oh, so you haven't had a chance yet. Well here I've got a recruiting card right here. Everybody see this. There you go. Hey stupid Come on jump in there. You can get a uniform. You look like you still got rigamortis hasn't said in yet. Don't worry. They'll take you You can be up front just like old bummer the coward that that POS yeah Yeah, you can see you can you picture old bummer in any kind of y'all well wartime leadership position the warrior old bummer Give me a break You open the door and you find him in a ramming manual doing strange things over the the desk in the Oval Office and you realize there's a third person in there and it's a holder underneath the table he was doing strange things to begin with and still is while the other two are doing straw that's disgusting and Yep, the warriors of the socialist government of America. Wow, Ram Emmanuel, Ricky the Queer Holder, and old bummer slash Barry Sator- give me a break. No wonder people are laughing at us. Oh, we do have a bunch of devil worshippers behind the scenes and robots that will follow orders. You got robots and we got prepaid prostitutes and horrors that are in the uniform that will follow whatever order the Yohudi trash. In fact, some of them are Yohudi trash. We know that. So let's just plug that in right and understand the betrayal here in the level. We're all just supposed to be commissarred to death by them. That's really what's coming up. So, organize arm equipment, train as militia, understand and know who's who in the zoo in your AO because you're going to have to clean up your own backyard. Nobody else can do a better job than the people who know who's who in the zoo. The other thing is deep logistics, and this is Weapons Wednesday. First of all for people to say well this thing is obsolete or that thing is obsolete I'm gonna challenge you on something now there was just a report that 400 tons of junk just went to the LC I to slash the supposed rebels read that the Arab terrorists that the Israelis and the federal government are backing You know the ones that killed your mom your dad your brother your cousin anybody in uniform that you had died in the last what ten years The people that were backing in Syria are the ones who did that? Doesn't that make you feel good? We gotta support the people who killed your uncle. We gotta support the people who murdered your brother. Ask people that. You lose anybody in this war in Iraq or Afghanistan? Yeah. Well, those are the people that were weird with that old bummer wants to go and help out in Syria. What? Well, sure. Take a look at the names, dates, and places in the organizational tables, guys. All the data's there. All these slobs that are over there are the ones that were killing all your brothers, your cousins, the guys you went to school with that are now on the dead list. Well, the people who did that are the ones in Syria that we already gave Libyan missiles to. And Libyan weapons too, remember? Oh, and we stole stuff from other places too. And the Israelis sold us a bunch of garbage at seven times the cost for half the value. Yeah. See? Real simple, explain to people that way. These traders pieces of trash are right out of Orwell's 1984. It is so out of Orwell's 1984 with regard to what we're watching here. So, we need to be prepared here. We can't do anything other than just explain to people, yeah, I hope you enjoy yourself over there in Syria because sure as hell I ain't going. And I'm sure that there are some nutcases and sycophants and Satan worshippers that will If they go over there, they will be crazy as the day is long. Shooting people from the roofs that are in civilian cars. You see all the video that came from Iraq, guys? People driving through an area where there's a firefight and the nutcases on the roof just blown away Everybody that's driving through the area a couple cars are going through they don't have a clue what's going on They fire them up and they're laughing about killing all the people that are commuters in the morning ha ha ha Those are the people that are going to be here on the ground I'm ready to shoot them to blackwater driving down the highway just taking potshots of anybody out their back window That's on YouTube that that would that one's one of the first ones I got put up on YouTube of what blackwater is really doing over there And you know you wonder why the troops get blamed for a lot of BS when you got people doing this now mind you we know we got bad people in the military too We've got a mix and that's the problem is that you know one of the things it was conditioned I think is Baker boy, whatever it is. That's the one that's the anti-christian Iraq war and uh... series that's been out and through the whole thing that's all they've got every episode has got to be spit on the christians spitting on christianity hate christianity all but school got murder a whole lot of people yeah well and you know i'd say you know i i i i wish it was a bunch of bs but we know one kid who went over there and his idea of you know winning the hearts and minds of the people he was supposed to be protecting was taking slingshot full of rocks and you know Throwing candy out to the kids and then taking the slingshot and beating them in the head when they picked it up Yeah, that's a local asshole. Excuse my language out. Oh, but it's true. Yep, exactly now eight is a spade ain't it? We've got down with us here Don before going farther. It is weapons Wednesday, sir. You can benchmark that for us, please. Oh, yeah here it goes on a downside. It's just like a magazine in the Magazine well and we got one in the chamber. We're ready to go And that means we can offer equal opportunity enforcement when the time comes. Real quick here, a guy, a snafu in the chatroom posted a block, actually I can't, I'm not going to read it in the air, but if you're in the chatroom, watch it. Babylon 5 has some great quotes in it. There are some excellent quotes by special especially and that's one that they're talking about a and londo Yeah, well, you're baldy. Yeah, the guy who played Garibaldi. He has his own talk radio program It's actually pretty good and it's right along our line. Yeah thinking the effect you swear you were listening to something was on LTR But anyway tick guys check take the time and check that out pretty cool the uh... a lot of little comments has been some pieces we've been wanting to pull from a few other we gotta do a new sound bite piece this week we really do we've been set back because what happened last couple weeks but what's funny in hell is off especially some of the other uh... older series Just a little soliloquy because that's really what they are It's called a soliloquy where the individual gets into a little diatribe's life speech But it's relevant to painting the picture or image of the background of what's going on and I used one the other day that I was working on at the front of a music mix I started and I it's a I think the first part of it is like from Optimus Prime from the new movie where he's talking about make no mistake war is coming and then I took another sound bite from a game where you got the marine with the cigar in his mouth saying it's about time. Yeah it's about time. Well again for everybody out there the shysters are going to try and pull their BS overseas. When they start growing mushrooms and marsh gas you all better be prepared and understand that the threat is real. In fact They're pushing it again because they want everybody terrified here. They've already got everybody in prison and school. Come on. What we're seeing right now, you have level one through level four prison systems that are called schools. But depending upon, again, if you were to take a picture of a level four prison and then look at the layout of the schools right now, there is no difference. Are the doors locked? Yeah, well make sure that fire safety is not relevant so much as just making sure the kids slash the prisoners are locked in. Scrabbling at the doors when the fire... See, that's one of the other things everybody forgets. We're going full circle. I kind of got into this discussion 20 years ago with someone when we found that we have the U of M laundry on North Campus, guys. And I went out to check on something. I was actually working as Union Steward years ago. And I went out there and somebody quietly said, you know, they chained the fire doors all around the perimeter. I said, what? They said they chained the fire doors with log chains all around the perimeter. And I went around, I went to one door because I acted like I was, you know, going to the drinking fountain, which I did. And it's like, sure enough, here we have this sweatshop where even as I'm standing there, guys, this is what gets me. I'm standing there and I hear, whoa. And the lint was so heavily built up off the German dryers that there was a bag of lint across the whole top of every surface in that building that was three inches. You know what a fire threat that is? Oh, it went. No, I watched it. I stood right there and said, and by the way, see that right there? And one of the girls goes, I know, I says it's time to leave. And what was interesting is, oh, they contained it. I mean, the idea is that, you know, they could get it from one of the catwalks. The point is two things. Number one, an example of failure to do maintenance or preventative maintenance. Number two, gross violations slash I hope that when the time comes if somebody were killed, one of the reasons we have these fire doors, you might recall on the east coast, there was a horrific death of 400 and some sweat shop workers on the east coast where they all died scrabbling at the doors to get out and died in the flames. literally breaking their fingernails and fingers clawing at the door while they were burning to death and That's when I saw that it's like you know I I'm gonna explain some I said one to one person in the front office here's how it works I Hope that if anything happens here and these people are killed or somebody dies They put you in a room That's big enough to have four sets of doors just like that Fill it with about three quarters of an inch to maybe three inches of diesel fuel and gasoline chain the doors and Put a little top on it that's got a hinge, throw your hind end in it, toss a match behind you, shut the door and make sure there's enough holes for good ventilation so it burns all the way. Oh, they just stared and looked and said, you realize what it'd be like? You ever been badly burned? And the kicker on that, guys, is we have a massive burn center at the University of Michigan. And you can go and watch Suffering on a massive scale if you're willing to. And if you want to find people that desperately need somebody to be with them, go to a burn center. Understand that every one of those people is going to tell you, well they can't even describe it. Anybody who is listening right now who has been in a burn center and been a patient, the word debridement will send shuttering shivers to your person. The abriding a wound doesn't happen once, it happens over and over and over and every time that you know it's coming, you know it's going to happen. So I would show no mercy to someone like that doing what they did there, knowing full well that they had no business doing it. Okay, that's the kicker on this. Plus the conditions, hundred and some degrees in the building, actually registered 118 while I was there. There's the reason why in the Boyce-Cowf Manuals of all that says carry some dryer lint in a plastic bag. That's right. That way you don't have to take the nest from the bird to use it for kindling and start your fire. And it works real well. In fact we've got to remind people that is one of those tricks. You've got to take a couple of Ziploc bags. You've got a dryer going. When the lint catcher gets a little full, pull that lint out, pack it flat, put it inside the bag, and wait for some more. Just put that bag there where you can get to it. Yep. Anyway, real quick here, I wanted to point out one of the things I wanted to do today was we're going to go out and build an AR-15. Now I'm just saying on the air. And the reason I brought this up is because if I were, if you were to ask me, uh oh. or break or got you know we had you want to go to break that's already go no okay to do will give will give ourselves which are going to read the break and then we're going to come back for we're going to be on a shopping list here but there's a reason if i actually were outfitting right now if i couldn't get through a demo i'd be doing to two three or seven six two by thirty nine or any of the other common calibers will be back reading talk more about that minutes weapons was a ton of mark the weapons Wednesday. Well, for everybody out there, it is kind of a mixed, rainy, muggy day. We have not gotten dry in August. In fact, we're now going to go through the whole of August wet. So people expect it to drop quick But if we continue to get the humidity and moisture that we've been getting through the whole of this season and you know the beginning of spring through this season Well You better be ready with the snow shovels I just put two more into service clean them up painted them and got them on standby That's part of your tools that need to be in the toolbox you'll also remember part of your engineer tool slash your service tools that need to be on board each vehicle. Always remember that. At least one bucket or scoop type shovel that can be used as a snow shovel if need be to dig out because you're going to be. The Pioneer toolkit that's going to be on each armored vehicle is similarly configured for that reason. Pay attention. Look on the outside of a tank. You'll notice there are certain tools there, including Mr. Sledgehammer, but that's for another reason. Okay, that has to do with the other part of what they don't show you about tank maintenance. Okay? Oh yeah, it's called W.R.R.K. Armstrong. W.R.K. Now, what I brought up before we went to the break here was AR-15. To be quite honest, let's say right now I wanted to do an AR-15 system. I don't have a whole lot of money, but I've got some money saved up. How can I do what I need to do quick and get a rifle in service in the time factor we're looking at right now? Okay, well let's go down the shopping list. I put a number of sites. on the page in the chat room for a reason. I'm going to go right down the list on www.apexgunparts.com. Guys, they've got kits. They've got all kinds of cool junk and clunk in there, neat stuff, including a whole bunch of Sten kits that just came in. But that's a sidebar. Just as a note, they just got a whole bunch of Mark 5, Mark 2, and Mark 3 Sten kits. And what caliber is that? 9mm Parabellum. And that means lots and lots of that now the reason I bring this up is They could be built in other calibers Because the stand is a very versatile firearm So just something think about but 9 millimeter NATO slash Parabellum is out there in force They do have steel bolts But by the way, they also have bronze bolts if you want to see how they built a bronze bolt for the stand gun They have them Okay But, let's see, anywhere from $174.99 for the high-end Mark V Sten, which is where they tried to gussy it up, guys, to make it look a little more fancy and doodadish. They tried to make it look more like an expensive weapon. The Mark IIs were the $2.75 model. They're running $120. The Mark III was the Clamshell Stamp model. They're running $68.95, so I'll say $7. I'll eliminate the dollar mark on that one. In both of those cases, the Mark IIs and the Mark IIIs with the T-stock are definitely worthwhile. for parts evaluation. Either one will get you the specs and dimensions you need to see to understand the Sten. Remember you don't have to even use that kit. If you have the patterns, guys, if you had other metal and it was bigger, in certain dimensions for like say the barrel, the receiver tube. Guys you could go any size you need provided it's close enough to that design that you can mark it up or mark it down in dimension provided you follow the pickup slots and all the other stuff there. So that's a stud but that's at Apex Gunparts. However, all the other doodads, goodies and exciting stuff that you need for the AR are there as far as accoutrements. And this is especially critical because a whole lot of people out there are looking at building an AR-15. So Apex Gun Parts is where I would find small components but I need to get to my basic list and that starts with an AR-15 lower end. As we know that's ARIES slash ARESARMOAR dot com. A-R-E-S-A-R-M-O-R ARIESARMOAR ARIESARMER dot com. W-W-W dot ARIESARMER dot com. Again they have Polymer. I wanted to build it. I got to do it fast. I would go the 80% polymer receiver right now. If you're looking at the idea that, man, things are getting serious, go to the Polymer Lowers and Homemade Guns category. Homemade Guns category, then Polymer. They have five of the brown left. 22 of the green left and 50 of the black. I wouldn't care which color. Personally, I go the black or the green and since green are available, I go green first, black second, brown last. Unless you're out west or if you're in the south because you have red soil. So the browns actually blend in with eyesight at range. The brown won't be that noticeable. There are also seven pink ones. If you think pink will blend well into your environment, then that's scary. Okay, but paint, as Don said, will work. So these are 80% receiver, you know, blanks. All you do is mill out the white. Follow the instruction. Mill out the white and there's the foundation of your AR-15. Now the next thing, it'd be nice if they offered the Polymer Uppers. They did build them back in 1999. Spook and Cook Company came out with these and the Polymer guns were going initially for about $900 a piece. for the ARs back when you could buy an aluminum AR for about $4.25, remember? Think about that. You could buy a low-end AR for $4.25. Those polymer receiver tops and bottoms were commanding a $1,500 price before they went off the market. and everyone that they put out there was sold and then the guns disappeared and the receiver idea disappeared until just recently. So again, there's two ways you can go on this foundation receiver. Either go to the 80% solution which I would recommend or you can go to joeboboutfitters.com and they have either stripped for $44 for a stripped one but it's FFL. It has paperwork. Or you can go one with all the internals and a buttstock of some kind for about 120. Now that does have all the goodies, but I'm going from scratch. In other words, and I also don't want any paperwork on any of it. I'm just trying to build a gun that's going to be a Liberty arm across the board. So Aries Armor dot com and pick out the Polymer receiver you want. We're going to go Polymer because it's fastest, it's cheapest, it's easiest for you. Now, Next on the shopping list, I need parts kits. So, www.e-sarco.com. Forgive me, e-sarcoinc.com. E-sarcoinc.com. E-sarcoinc.com. Now the reason I bring that up well interestingly enough they have a whole bunch of really interesting ar-15 parts kits out there right now and a lot of parts that they are building So you have an option to go in a number of different directions either with the Forgive me, either with the Colt GI M16A1 parts kits, which by the way, to me are kind of pricey at $465, but hey, I remember when the Sarco was offering these for $125 with the barrel. Okay, you heard me right, $125 with the barrel. That's what they used to be. That's the used to be days. However, if I look through the kit here, for instance, Air 15 lower receiver parts kit internal, all the parts done, all the springs, levers and components that go on my just finished $100 no paper Air 15 lower. So for $60 I get all the internals. There's my next purchase right there. Now I need a buffer a buffer tube and a stock I can either go to sarco or I can go to Center fire systems comm I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go with a folding stock for one reason its fastest cheapest easiest, but I prefer solid stocks, however I'm building a gun that chances are I'm going to use initially and pass on to somebody and I don't know how big that somebody is. That could be your wife with shorter arms, shorter legs, and a lot tinier. Could be a young teenager who are pre-teen, someone who needs a defense rifle. Could be I'm handing it to grandpa who's 6'2 has arms comparable proper length and so he's long and lanky. Well, if I'm building a utility rifle, I have to acknowledge and admit that the AR-15 folding stock is the most versatile stock on the market to date. Only because I can one second flop that stock into the shortest station and give it to a 13 year old or a girl and say, young lady, if they get through that door, they're going to kill you. You just dump the first 30 rounds in there and do what I taught you to do with the mags. Remember that. Again, if nothing else, she can fire 30 rounds and then I want you to run like hell. How's that sound? See how that works? Another gun pointed in another direction means that you've got more eyes, more bullets where they need to go. Okay? However, I can turn around and say, you know, little girl, you're out of here because grandpa just showed up. He's 6'2 and he's got those big long arms. I reach to the back of that stock, Don. I go click, click, click. And with a five station stock, I pull it right out to its full length and it'll fit that adult male. Now that is a solution. So there's another advantage. Buffer, buffer spring and tube are all together there of course. That goes in the back of my $100 AR-15 receiver or my $150 aluminum one. Whichever one you got. If you got aluminum, you're great. If you're building more right now, it's faster and easier at the plastic for the moment until they run out. They may not be able to restock and I wouldn't be surprised if they can't. after this cycle. We'll see what happens. But so far, they've got to sell out before they can repurchase, I assume, or they've already got an order because they're getting low on these things. There's really only enough, even with the pink included, there's not enough to outfit a company of infantry with the lower polymer receivers that are there. There's 50, 20, you know, a handful with the other say, what, 50, 60, 70, looks like about 80 pieces. The company is 120 men. So we ain't quite there kids. So they are going to go. Now the other thing about this, I will note that you can get bolt carriers from a number of places. I would go the cheapest bolt carrier possible. It may be course parkerizing. And it is going to be fresh. Which means remember guys it is going to take a little bit to wear that in. I would clean that a couple of times aggressively, not extreme, don't wear any finish off. But remember that freshly parkurized, which is a phosphate finish, that is a crystalline structure finish. Kind of handy. Yep, or a green Brillo pad. The green pads, you know, like the like used for doing the dishes. That would be another option. It's not so coarse it's going to take any major finish off, but if you were to do a microscope on that that finish, it looks like jagged glass when it's fresh. And it still will. You're not going to do much of wearing anything down with that brass brush initially or with that green pad. But you're going to want to clean it up once. And you're going to want to be, again, consistent across the board. That lower, the back end of the bolt carrier and the front end make it to the dimension of the inner dimension of the upper receiver. Remember that where you have adhesion like that it retards the action and unfortunately the M16 can't afford any retarding, okay? It really really can't. It's not good for it. I know it defecates where it eats. I've used and carried too many of these for too long. Now otherwise I wouldn't worry about getting a strip AR-15 bolt and building it up. I just look for one of these aftermarket $100 bolt carriers. That's good enough. So I've got right now from Sarco and three or four other sources, but I just I got my lower receiver. Oh, I still have to get a pistol grip. The one thing that internal kit doesn't have, I need a pistol grip. If you want to spend a few pennies and you can find one, get one with a cap trap in the base of the pistol grip. That will give you a place to put parts or a couple rounds of spare ammo, whichever you want to do. They're available. They're going to run between $6 and $9 for the aftermarket, not one of the name brand, and it will work just fine. Also watch for in the grab boxes, the dollar pistol grips that are tired. The finish is worn. They're usually a little shiny, but they work just fine. buy his pair of pistol grip. Trust me that's one of the things that doesn't happen very often but I've seen him get snapped. It happens. Okay. Next is an upper. Well here's the cool thing. Now that I got that lower pretty much put together I can do two things. If I really all of a sudden found out that my uncle gave me a gift of about $2,800 to $3,000 I could go with a ferret or a Watson's weapons. Yeah, Watson's weapons 50 caliber upper and drop it right onto that lower and I'd have a 50 right off the bat. So remember that that's the nice thing about having a clean and untracked lower receiver group. But I'm going to build an ARN 223. I would prefer a 20 inch barrel, but if you look on the market, try and find one. So I'm gonna suffer for the moment, but I don't have to suffer very long with a 16 and a half inch car 15 type barrel heaviest possible for the price but again Cheapest for the mostest. I'm trying to build this gun fast now for about two anywhere from 180 to 240 dollars I might find a plane Jane no fancy name upper-end preferably an aftermarket. They are out there. There's a couple of companies building them that are no-name brand. They're not fly-by-night per se, but they're not going to be top of the line. Now, they may or may not come with a bolt carrier. So one of the things to watch there is you don't need to buy the bolt carrier independently. But remember, that's going to shave the price off the next wave purchase, which is your complete upper. Now I would save time if for whatever reason, let's say right now, if I needed to get a gun in service, if they had three offered, an A1 with a carry handle, an A2 with a carry handle but with the micro adjustable sights or a flat top and they said they were out of the first two, go with the flat top. Otherwise, take your pick. I prefer again the To be quite honest, the first model, the A1, there's a reason for this. While I love micro adjustable sights, the Air 15 is a tiny toy. One of the things we found out is sand effects quite quickly and readily the micro adjustable sight on the A2. You're going to run into a lot of these out there. I'm not telling you to take them off, but I'm going to remind you, you have to do more maintenance. We're building a weapon we can hand to somebody that's going to be used for a security close in defense or a 5.10 rifle. Or I need something quickly in 2.2.3 because I've decided I want want two, two, three rifles in my service. The A3 would be fine, and then you're going to be looking immediately for a set of pop-up sites. I'd skip and save time. I know they're China Sport. I'd go to dealxtreme.com and pick up a set of cheapy pop-up throwaways. Number one, they can come on and off as needed. They flap down as needed too, so I don't even have to take them off. I can leave them on the rifle, but ideally I'd put them in a little box in a kit on my gear so that as needed if I had to put them on, I'd have them ready to go. Then I'd buy optics. And from the Optics point of view, I'm sorry, I know a lot of guys love the Aimpoint. I know how they work. I've seen all the other variations. I still like a little 3-5 power China Sport short scope or one of the old Car-15 scopes. amazingly enough they pull in the image, they pull in light, they're serviceable enough but whatever you want to go with, Red Dot, I don't care. That is one of those candy flavor choices that everybody can make because we're not the army. So Don likes, you know, whatever Don likes, Don can buy, whatever Mark likes, Mark can buy. I still must have, and I'm going to say this and emphasize this, we must have iron sights on hand though if you buy a flat top. At some point something will probably happen to those optics. You're in a battlefield situation. People run to get away from death. You hit a door frame. You didn't hit the door frame, but guess what happened? Where'd my sight go? Or you ding it, you bend it, you pop it, it gets shot, it gets busted by some fragmentation coming off of something that probably would have killed you but it got the gun. Okay, it got just the optics on the gun. It's the fickle finger of fate issue so you've got to have a set of backups. You don't want to spray and pray and I don't want to guesstimate if I can help it because the farther I can reach, the more likely I'll kill my enemy before he tries to kill me. Okay, now we've pretty well built the weapon from scratch but joeboboutfitters.com, joeboboutfitters.com, www.joeboboutfitters.com has been getting a few uppers complete for a reasonable price. Lowest and cheapest one you can find. and if you got a better price and a better source run with that puppy. Centerfiresystems.com has been showing up down with some AR uppers. Not many, three or four at a time. That's what they're getting as part of their allocation. Now I still need ammo and mags. Right now cheapest mag I can find, although there are some steel ones people found out there, aluminum military for five dollars down in Florida. You find a little water hole like that, grab all that you can find, inspect them all and there's your mags. AIM surplus has a sale on pink follower mags right now. Oh more pink stuff. Now I wouldn't even worry about painting them, but I would remind everybody that pink is going to stand out if you leave it out there in the open. But the price is a couple dollars cheaper. for the pink mags if they have any left. You know the thing is between yesterday and today when I was going through the idea of doing this again, this stuff disappears. Half of the inventory was gone. I called and said, oh yeah, we're going to be gone maybe by today. So they might be out of those mags. But if you look around, you'll find Lancer or one of the other off-brands that's up and coming that has been cranking out a lot of mags. At least get 10 mags right off the bat for whatever best price you can find. The next thing is ball ammo. Don't worry about soft point or any specialized rounds. Nonsense. You've got a rifle here you've got to tune up to begin with. You're going to need the cheapest, lowest end ammunition you can get. Mostest for the leastest. Because you also have to do some break in shooting with this rifle. We're going to put it all together. Got to get it to work. So you don't want to spend $4 on a test route. You want to be able to, again, not only use the load less expensive ammo, but I'd also go reloads if need be. You want to tune, you're going to bring the weapon in. You've got to cycle it so many rounds to get it. you know worked into operating mode. It should be pretty well squared away. You're looking at a lot of parts here that are first of all got a little more slop there aftermarket. Not extreme but remember this is not a tightened up precision you know tack driver. This is a basic AR-15 probably in the 16.5 inch but it could be in a 20. If you get it find a 20 in there if there's a 20 in the 16.5 and they're side by side they're the same price for the upper by the 20. Here's a hint if you're doing this over a couple of months and And the guy that has a 20 inch barrel says there are a couple months out order it now order it first Yeah, and in fact the biggest thing there is again Looking at the issue of what can we do with and how can we do it? Well be creative you may find have a source at the gun shows There's still guys showing up That have tables that have odds and ends. I don't care about it looking pretty I really don't. In fact, to be quite honest, after we got this all together, it's going to change colors again, guys. I'm going to break out the four or five camo colors I need that match up my environment that are best, and the whole thing is going to get painted. Now I've got a green polymer base anyway, I don't know it's not and I'm not going to do anything to dress that lower I'm not going to dust it I'm not going to blast it, but I will paint it if the paint chips off I don't care because it'll create an odd pattern anyway, okay? I don't need it to be pretty and I'm not worried about winning a fashion show. I am concerned with function That's the biggest thing now again the 223 is a solution as a subnote before we go and Don you might want to mark this down on the front page guys for all you builders out there Sarco has 16 and a half inch 1 inch OD 1 and 9 twist 223 barrel blanks for $40 apiece Oh, that is the basis for a, now let me point something out, the Mahdi Griffin. Everybody remember the Mahdi Griffin? Guys, you take that barrel and make that the basis for a .223 bolt action single shot Mahdi Griffin type rifle. $40 for the barrel, that's throw away price. That's nothing you can't buy a douglas barrel for that douglas barrels run $80 although you do get more barrel You'll get maybe well you can actually go her length you want up to 60 inches or you used to I don't think douglas is doing that anymore used to be get a 60 inch barrel whatever caliber you whatever chamber forgive me whatever caliber you wanted but unchambered for $80 from douglas We used to buy them in the 70s all the time in 30 caliber and did a lot of specialized wildcat cartridge projects In this case, this is chambered in .223. Highest quality barrel blank for custom projects or a standard barrel. 16 1⁄2 inches long. 1 in 9 twist. And they do have them in stock and the item number is MISC267. That's MISC267. Let me give you another hint. Got an H&R single barrel shotgun receiver out there? Maybe with a tired barrel on it? You ever thought about how you could make a 12 gauge shotgun into a .223 rifle? Oh, did I think that through? Well as a matter of fact H&R and the company that took it over eventually guys, billed the H&R single shot action in .223, .308, .243 Winchester, .762x39, and .22-250. Now if you had something there you already had maybe something laying around if you have a barrel like this You could build another one of those off of one of those shotgun receivers and end up with a real nice tack driving quiet rifle there because you see if you have that length barrel Down the road not right now, but down the road you might decide to make the barrel a little longer But it wouldn't be barrel. It'd be something that makes the gun a lot quieter You get my drift. Oh a diverter valve. Yeah a diverter valve with about oh, let's say with a with with 27 points of diversion. Yeah. Yeah, and and basically again, you can also download your your go with a heavy heavy spool that you want to in a 22 in a 22 caliber in two to three Because this is a single shot guys. This is a closed breach You can up the pressures, you can actually go with a heavier bullet, drop your powder charge, make it just on the edge of subsonic, just on the edge of supersonic, and then make it a little quieter with other things, and that is a sentry removal tool. It would be better than a ball peen hammer. Oh yeah, especially since you could be putting up to say 140, 150 grain 223 diameter bullet. Remember guys, this thing is a single shot. You're not worried about magazine feed. You could even go with a heavy cast bullet and go with a long pencil bullet design you could custom build. So you could drive it up towards 200, 200 grains. That sounds weird and it would look weird but it wouldn't be any stranger than the 6mm Lee cartridge. If you haven't looked at that, go take a look at 6mm Lee projectiles. And then remember that 5.56 and 6mm ain't that far apart. Now granted, 200 is a little excessive, but again there are some little tricks there with some of the dense material you can find laying around that can be used. So creativity is the issue. Again, a matter for all of our... I'm putting scenes for our wildcat shooters out there. We got a lot of guys that do creative things. But these barrels are $40 a piece, 16.5 inches, 1 inch, outer diameter guys so you figure out how that can be made to work. H&R, maybe an old, for instance, here's the thing, you got an old blown out barrel single shot Brazilian single shot shotgun. Cost you nothing. Somebody said here you can have it. Well you know where your barrel tab has to be to lock the front system. You have all the dimensions you need to face the front, you know, the barrel assembly to the receiver All you have to do is figure out how best you can make that center and lock whatever you want on the roof in the way of optics. Iron, iron or glass. Anyway, optics, night vision. The next thing I do, a first gen night vision device for that AR-15, if I was for me, Don has it. How come we get a hold of you, Don? Hey, that number is 2317968458. Again, 231796. 8 4 5 8. Very good. Well we've walked you through it guys. Hopefully give you some ideas with the 223. Don anything else jumping off there before we go please? Well it's right at the top and you know hey keep looking around you guys you don't have to as you point out Mark I didn't hear about any ambidextrous or any vertical forward grips on there or you know way cool you know bumpers across the barrel there you know It's bare bones gone. Simplest for the mostest and making lots of them is the key because that's what we need right now. And that 50 cal lock down to the roof for every fifth gunner would be kind of nice if you could scrape the money together. Think about it. Your lower project won't change. The upper project is the choice of direction. God bless the Republic. Death to the new world order. We shall prevail ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. But we are on the march both day and night. Very good. And Don, you've got to take off for your... I got to go Mark. Well, close us and give out your number again, please.
