Mark Koernke and Spike Timmons hosted the evening edition of The Intelligence Report on August 22, 2013. The show featured discussion of e-cigarette business development and smoking cessation, followed by a caller from Houston raising concerns about a 10-year-old girl charged with sexual assault after childhood play and interrogated without parental presence, prompting discussion of children's rights during police questioning and parental legal protections. A caller from Queensland, Australia provided international perspective on Australian federal elections, government spending, strict gun control laws correlating with high crime rates, and a database breach exposing licensed shooters' information that led to home invasions targeting firearms. The hosts and Australian caller discussed parallels between Australian and American gun control efforts, ammunition registration, and preparedness strategies.

You know the right to bear arms is because that's the last form of defense against tyranny not to hunt. to protect yourself from the police. Anybody that wants to disarm me can drop dead. Anybody that wants to make me unarmed and helpless. People that want to literally create the proven places where more innocents are killed called gun-free zones. We're going to beat you. We're going to vote you out of office or suck on my machine gun. I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walking through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. Invist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state You read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold you trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame You've taken Satan's number and you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch him tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free? You're tuned to Liberty Tree radio and many other sources that are Broadcasting to you in this hour the intelligence report. I'm Donald Betcher I'm Spike Timmons. AM or an FM rebroadcaster. Some call them the micro broadcasters. I call you the short rangers because it gives you more of a militant bent. You guys are out there on the front lines. FCC knocking on your door every now and then. We did that earlier in the day. The mirror run up, you guys, I don't really see that. Again, it's 22nd day of August. Then you got Don and Spike on the intelligence report this evening, the 8 o'clock hour. How are you doing Spike? I'm doing well. Yourself Don? I'm still breathing. Thanks for asking because I haven't got that answer out in a while. The whole of it is, I'm still breathing. That's a gift from God. Thanks for asking. I feel that from you. Whenever somebody asks me, that's what I say. Again, I don't mind. That's something to... It's a good reflection. in a number of ways. It's a good answer. It's a good reflection to say that, well, I stole that from you. I like that. That makes me proud. We're not supposed to be proud, but sometimes we can't help it. And we've talked over the years and over the last while, but it's good to see the need and step up and be part of the so-called one thing to do. We could run in a number of different directions, but before we ask for callers, do we have any callers or anything like that? What you got going this evening, Spike? Anything else in Texas? George, can we do this before we go to Collars? I would ask Spike what he's got going on, okay? Hang in there for a little while, okay? Thank you. I'm trying to get my e-cigarette business off the ground here. So I've been perusing through batteries to try and match up to the tanks that I'm getting. And then I'll begin to get my own liquid in and start mixing my own nicotine juice. Oh, okay. For sale, yes. And hopefully, like your night vision, I'll be able to make something off of this. Make something out of it, because I'd rather work for myself than somebody else. And personally, I'm tired of being a janitor. So I'd rather do that for a living, sit around and... Well, I'll tell you what, I don't make a living from some night vision. Don't get your hopes up. You know what I mean? We don't have a lot of J. Paul Gettys and such listening. Again, that displaced nicotine, you guys might be a good thing if even the issue is nicotine in a different form. We've talked about it. It's been over my brother's birthday that weekend, the fifth day of May of this year. I haven't smoked tobacco since. So yee-haw. That's good. It was a decision that hey, I'm just going to quit right now. That kind of thing, you have to kind of build to it, but if you get that in, you can turn your back on it. More power to you, so to speak. I would say that I'm not bragging because you guys, it is an ongoing, it is a day-to-day struggle. And along those lines, rather than tobacco you might want to find your nicotine in other directions. There is an advertisement running, and I don't know if it's running around the nation. It's running in Michigan, and it talks about Michigan girls are picking up the can in order to stop smoking. And a girl that chews just really isn't a fool. I know. I don't want to go there. But you guys, again, there's different ways to deliver it. I've talked to a number of people who come here to train. I've actually talked them out of smoking, but man, in order to damage your lips, damage this or damage that rather than your lungs. Now they're trying to quit the chew. It's replacing one delivery system with another. I'm told that the nicotine substitute, the electric cigarettes aren't that bad for you, but you still get that nicotine instead of sitting there and just, man, I'm I need a hit, man. Can't be in the room with someone who's smoking. And I can't drink beer because, man, when I drink beer, I gotta have a cigarette. And oh, man, right after meals, it's really, really bad. And first thing in the morning, that cup of coffee, you know, that's still the one with me. I bet. First thing in the morning, that one with a cup of coffee is just the one I really do miss. And throughout the day, it's getting easier and easier. That's what you guys started out as. Yeah, exactly. They continued into where we're at now where people are going to that. Instead of smoking because it is much healthier for you. Nicotine is not as bad for you as the rest of the cigarette. It's a little bit worse than coffee but not much. And that's the big thing about it. I can tell. I haven't smoked a real cigarette all summer long. And I can tell a big difference in everything. My breathing, my ability to keep going, especially when you get out there and you mow the yard. I've been mowing the yard for years. I mow the yard with a cigarette hanging out of my mouth even. I've done that to ride from Detroit to Toledo burning three cigarettes on the way there. That's another thing about these. You could ride a motorcycle down the road with an electric cigarette in your mouth and you're not going to burn your face or get ashes on you. and my helmets all melted up where my cigarette would hit. But it wouldn't do that anymore because the electric cigarette doesn't burn. A lot of advantages to it. One of the fellows that started doing this right after he had a car wreck and they had taken a chest x-ray of him and he had just stopped smoking. And then here not too long ago, he had another chest x-ray five years later after he had been vaping the whole time. And his chest completely cleared up. He shows his x-rays on YouTube and high def video. And you can see clearly that his lungs cleared out. And that's a good thing. So that's one thing that got me to doing that was, you know, there's a lot of people that are really ill. And my girlfriend was like, I can't breathe in the room with you smoking. And, you know, I really... want to be up there but you know I just can't breathe so I had already tried a couple and she knew one that I liked and she said I'll buy you this if you just smoke outside and smoke this inside and I said hey yeah cool and after that I was like you know what why even go back to cigarettes there's no sense and I wouldn't have to be out here right now smoking the cigarette looking at half of the cigarette going wow I still got to finish that whole thing you know With these you don't do that because the taste is very good even if you get a tobacco flavor, if you get a good one, they're pretty good and then you get into stuff like I like. There's one called Double Chocolate. That is, oh man. You would never think that something like that would be good but man, if you like chocolate, you're gonna love that and then that right there is the biggest thing is to getting off of the analog cigarettes and away from the burning of the tobacco is finding a flavor that you like that you actually could be satisfied with if you never went back and smoked another cigarette again. And there's millions of... How people do that with cigars? Quit smoking cigarettes by having a cigar burning. And again, flavors of cigars. You're looking at expanding this, huh? Oh yeah, that's what I'm looking at doing. I'm looking at getting all the supplies and everything up there to try and help people get off of the tobacco kick and get on to something a little more helpful for them. And if they want to quit, that can be arranged as well because if they're trying to get off of it completely, since I'll be mixing the juice, you can go down nicotine strength you can start where you're at and work your way down to nothing. There's no nicotine in the juice at all. Just getting the flavoring and then you get the vapor but you don't get any nicotine just the flavor. So even you can have tobacco flavor with no nicotine it's kind of like O'Doul's with tobacco. Alcohol with beer. think of next. Yeah that's a waste of taste buds I think. Yeah and good hops. But we should go to Collars. I know we've got George waiting patiently. Go ahead George. How you doing gentlemen? Sorry I misunderstood. I was sitting there almost about yelling at my cat again. Now he's chasing rabbits. Yeah. Yeah, but anyway, Spike, if you go to my website, you look at the top story, I got to ask you a question as a parent. Because I called up the Harris County, I mean, Houston PD, and I asked the policy about with minors. And the thing is, this 10-year-old girl was charged with sexual assault because they were playing doctor in the courtyard four months ago. The parent didn't go confront the other parent, she just filed a complaint. Four months later, Houston PD comes out and starts to investigate. There's not so much to charge that really has me outraged. It's just when they questioned the girl, they did not allow the parent to be there, present when questioning. It's Houston PD's policy that the parent cannot sit there and be present. that seems like a violation right there that something's basically wrong right there it's always in michigan i think there's always you even if you can't be there you have you have the ability to request a uh... what is that not necessarily a garden but guard guardian that is independent of and i might be wrong about this picture seems to me that michigan offers something like that or in texas doesn't go even in that direction no it's just a by houston pd policy because personally if I were the father and they were interrogating my kid like that I would just walk right in and say answer no more questions and I said this interview is over until we talk to a lawyer. Oh well that's what the PD fears. They cut off their source of uh... see you can answer you can run circles around children until they answer any question any way you want. You have to understand that You can ask a child a question so many different ways, the same question, that eventually you get a different answer. The one they want. The correct. The one they want. Correct. Well, this 10-year-old girl, as a result of her being interrogated, spent four days in juvenile detention. And, you know, the thing is, the question is, the parent of this alleged four-year-old child, this alleged nine-year-old girl at the time, touched, She never went to the parent and said, your daughter was acting inappropriately. She filed a complaint with the police department. And all of a sudden, three or four months later, they come out and they decide to investigate. There's something wrong there, Don. Yeah, no question about it. Again, the difference between that age, that's just, oh, one's stumbling upon something, so to speak, versus even this goes over to consent and whatnot, the age of consent, even the difference at 14 versus and what is that gap? If it were 14 versus eight, you know, you can one can start to see a need to bring criminal charges. But again, this is something that should have been handled inside the houses. by the parents as you point out even there wasn't even an attempt to do that now and you know i think i can my son um asked me like two weeks ago what can i spend the night at my friend's house but he could spend a night here it's okay but i said why because uh... his daughter his my his my my my my my son's friend sisters kind of like a little fickle in the head and i said no because uh... he's brought my son's age and i said i do not want him being accused or something mundane that could be construed as a sexual act when it wasn't. Donna, I really hate to have to act like that. Oh, I understand. But again, you're building fences and if you think they're in the proper places, they probably are. Building fence, so to speak, that defense or that separation there that offers up defense. If you think you have to, you probably do, George. There's a certain amount of proper precaution, the prudent man, and beyond that, we use that word paranoia every now and then, but again, how much do you want to run to the defense of your children? Ask any parent that. Well, there is a time I have to teach my son right from wrong and teach him how to protect himself and not... present yourself among other people how to bear up, how to say yes or no, how to become your own person instead of being someone's... Okay, and that starts at a very young age. Yeah, but like I say, I even tell my kids, I said, if you're ever questioned by the police because you're accused of something, you just say, I reserve the right to remain silent and I would like my parents present when I'm being questioned. Yeah, there you go. That's all I say, I reserve the right to remain silent and I want my parents here present when being questioned. That's all. Yup. And you know, like I say, for a 10 year old girl, I said, If it goes before a judge's case, she'll be dismissed because this little girl did not get her Miranda rights and she was questioned without the presence of an attorney. That's what I think. The case should be dismissed. You don't have, because you're not at the age of consent, you don't have that knowledge. And even more so, this goes over to the lawyer putting his hand on you when he presents you to the court, so to speak. If you're not of that age of consent, they have every right to make those choices for you. They assume. Yup. That's another yup. But even as the mother said, oh, they threw me out in the waiting room, I'm like, and you know the thing, as I blame the mother, she should have just walked right in and said, interview's over. Right. I can tell the daughter to answer no more questions. Oh, but we talked to a lawyer. Yes, but that could be construed as, in certain instances, the cops might want to charge you with obstructing justice because, well, you're not allowing us to interview a witness here. So you're obstructing justice. What are you guilty of? That's how they'll use that on the parents most of the time. You must be guilty of something because you don't want to allow us to talk to your child. So they put the parent on the hot seat too. Well, basically I'd say, no, I don't know if I said there's a presumption of innocence and I would like an attorney present here when you question her. I'd say I want to consult with an attorney before he talks to you. I'm not saying no to an interview, but I want legal counsel before I talk to you again. There you go. I say I'm allowed the right of the consistency counsel and I would tell the police officers that I want you to have the consistency counsel if you get falsely accused. Yeah. It's your rights too. I tell them it's your rights too. But you know it's just, I just felt outraged. It's just not so much the little you know It's inappropriate, but it's just the thing is that the mom was not allowed to be present with the child when questioned. Because it's Harris County, it's Pusy Pee Dee's policy for that. And that policy should be reversed. It's just a policy, it ain't law. Right, there's a difference isn't there. And it's not even the color of law, it's just we're going to do this because we say so. That's what it amounts to, doesn't it? That's true. We're going to go to the break here at the bottom of the hour in a moment. What else you got on that subject, George? If there's any other calls, just go forward. I'm through. I got off my test. Oh, again, thanks for bringing that to the hour. And if it's happening, you know how that works, if it's happening in your neck of the woods, it's happening in other places. It's just people aren't bringing it up. Or it's being, you know, like a little wildfire stepped on by the they, them. You know, we can't move. It goes over to control, doesn't it? Sure does. And we'll be right back, Spike and Tom. I'm responding, said to him, you know, our government is letting people down. He said he'd need a lot of help to plug the status quo. I said there was a bunch of us around. On a calendar, deep in liberty, my Bible and reads equality. He's earning while speech out can... I have been so unfair so many to reaffirm that whole not just for some just look out for number raise yourself cause so and so you didn't see a harvest of the spirit I'm a boy principal the framers called upon us before I took a sacred vow and faithful to that vow I have remained I hear the call and once again my country needs me now. To her call I have met your name. I'm all for T-1C. Got a couple bites on advertising, so working all that stuff out. And gonna have a guest on here pretty soon. The guy that wrote the book Reloading the Basics is gonna be up. Mr. Cywert, he'll be up here after I get some things ironed out with him and figure out what day he's gonna come up and get a bunch of questions for him, because I got a bunch of questions about reloading. So if you all have any questions about reloading, keep your ears open on hammering the New World Order and we'll let you know when he's going to be up. Keep an eye on the archive page over there at IndianaFreedomTalkRadio.com on hammering New World Order archive page and I'll keep that updated and I'll put that information up there so everybody will know when that's going to happen ahead of time. Great. Great. It's always good to run up fresh information, even talk about, if you're, I've been reloading for years, man, and you can't learn nothing, you can't teach me nothing. Well, if that's your attitude, you know, well, if that's your mentality, you're never going to go forward. If you're thinking, I can't learn nothing, there ain't nothing new. A lot of times, if you've been listening for a good long time, you'll hear us talk about something that we've talked about before. Oh yeah. That only reinforces that thought, doesn't it? Yes, and he's also going to, he's in the process of writing the second book, going a little bit into greater detail about reloading. And it's always good to know that kind of stuff because powder is a fun thing. You can do all kinds of stuff with it when you know the reloading aspect of it and how to make things go flying in certain directions. And do it better than you did yesterday. Yeah, and it doesn't always have to be a cartridge. Just the knowledge of that powder can do wonderful things. Oh yeah. Again, even the knowledge of its capabilities. What it can and cannot do, yeah. You know, that's the things that you need to learn fast and slow burns and how fast it expands. stuff like that, it's really interesting to get into that kind of stuff and figure out, you know, hey, you know, this is why that bullet works the way that it does and if you want to continue to make it work that way or work better then you've got an idea of what you're going to do with it and I have no idea about that. Now I've got the concept but I have no clue as to what I would actually do. Now, if you sat me down in front of one of those presses and said, this is this, this is this, here you go. I've watched enough, I've watched it been done enough, live and in person as a youngster, and I watched Mark do a video on YouTube about it, and I know if you sat me down at one of them presses, it wouldn't take more than 10 or 15 minutes, and I'd be making my own bullets. Right, right, it just becomes a matter of This is the order it has to happen in. Now do it like that. And I'll watch you do it the second time and the third time. Hey, you're doing pretty good. And about the fourth or fifth time, you're on your own. Let's see how many you can do in the next hour. Yeah. And that would be fun. So I'm excited to have him up and bring him up in my hour because I know there's a lot of people that listen. Different people listen to different hours. And I know the people in my show from other networks like TruthBroadcastNetwork.com. I'm being rebroadcast over there too. They're probably pretty interested in what's going on with that too because I don't think that's something that's kind of like a Truth Network, you know? So they're not that much, probably don't know that much about reloading and if they get the book, they will. There you go. It's good to get information out there. Yes, all different people need this kind of information. We played with it a lot when we were kids by tearing apart firecrackers and making bigger firecrackers. So, you know, you don't have to do that. Now, let's run over to the phone bank and see if there's a caller waiting because I heard a number of dings and perhaps we have a caller wants to come on board. Star 6 will unmute you. In fact, we'll do that again. Star Six will unmute you. You want to, you know, questions, comments, spike. If I got the date wrong, I'm more than, you know, I can stand for correction. We do have a few colors there. None of them want to talk tonight, though. Okay, they're just listeners. Not that they're just listeners, but they're listeners. Yeah, they're listeners. I would say before we go any farther that Ark's mother is improving. Kelly out on the mountain is back home. So again, you guys, Don't back off on the prayer there. I mentioned in numbers a proportion of surviving and it's like a small miracle that Mark's mother is still alive. So with that in mind, you guys, we have to say thank you for the prayer. Hurrah! Keep him coming. Thank you. If you do it, it's easy, you know. And if you don't pay attention in that world, you think Don's just flapping his jaw right now. And if that's true, I kind of feel sorry for you. I keep you in my prayers. So I can tell you, I keep you in my prayers. You change your way through your thought line, but it's a lot easier not to be alone. I'm grinding when I say that. It's a lot easier. I'm smiling like pictures you see. One of my favorite pictures, drawings, if we're talking along this line is a laughing Jesus. You've seen pictures, different artists, of representations of a Jesus just laughing. It's just fun. You can just see it right there in the picture, on the face, in the expression. Imagine the Creator laughing and trying to represent that by drawing an ink, an oil, or watercolor, or whatnot. It's seemingly impossible. Hey, Don. Yeah. Oh, go ahead. Continue. Continue. Oh, but again, for someone to do that, that's bold beyond something that I would attempt. But again, my favorite pictures of Jesus incarnate, the Creator walking, are Jesus laughing. So that smile, that pride, that just happy to be witness. Yee-haw. I'm not exactly sure where. We have a similar picture. I'm sorry, what? We have a caller from the future. Oh, who do we have? Good morning Spike and good morning Don. It's Jamie Webb calling from Australia. Hey, good morning. It's the first time I've spoken to you, Don. I've been listening to you for a couple of years, so. Yeah, just thought I'd call you up. I'm just working here. It's away at my desk. It's Friday morning over here in Queensland, Australia and I love listening to the intelligence report. In particular, I really appreciate the perspective and the things that you speak about on the air, Don. I just wanted to say that and I'm sure a lot of other people feel the same way as well. So, I find it very inspirational. We talk about putting a person in the right place, but sometimes he will. The Creator will put the right person in the right place. That's a humbling thing. You try to rise to the ability. I'm only human. I appreciate the praise. Thank you very much. I have a couple of pieces of dentin from you, don't I? A couple of pieces of dentin? Yes. You know, tooth material? I'm not sure. I'm not wrong about that? Might be another guy. Okay, forgive me. I've got another... Queensland is a big place, I'm told. It is, yeah. Okay. I had one of your countrymen send me a couple of... actually, three sharks teeth. Oh, really? Yeah, two bull sharks and one... not a tiger, a Mako shark. Yes, yeah, well we get a few sharks up the coast here. There's no doubt about that. And certainly, I think probably the bull sharks are the ones that cause the most deaths, really. And then up at Fraser Island there, you've got off the coast there, there's quite a few tiger sharks off the coast of Fraser Island. And then down south, I think it's more the domain of the great white sharks. The pointers you call them there, don't you? Yeah, white pointers. That's it. More commonly known around the world is the great white. Oh, yes. I tell you though, if I was a rich guy, that's, we talked earlier in the day about a bucket list, that would be something that would be, it would seem a gift from God to be able to dive the barrier reef. Every time I get in the ocean, I see something I've never seen before. I knew you were going to say that too, John. You've heard me say it before. It only draws to mind ocean queen trigger fish, which are like a plate with fins and really weird looking fins. Or the shark that you look out to open water and it just looks like a triangle that's just starting to appear and it becomes more and more solid. Then you see the dorsal and the pectoral fins and you know that that shark is coming straight at you and he knew where you were before he could see you. or you're swimming along and off the ocean floor as you're coming. What is that? And it looks like just a couple of marbles and then the marbles move and then a six-foot manta ray just wiggles out of the sand and starts to fly away. That's an amazing experience when you see that. There's no doubt about that. Again, thank you for the call. What else is going on in Australia? Well, we're currently in the middle of a federal election campaign. And for the, we have record entries, we have a lower house and an upper house, a bit like what you have got the Congress and the Senate. And in the Senate this year, I think in Queensland, we have 85 people, which is a record going for senators and down in New South Wales, it's something like well over 100. In fact, the print on the paper ballot is so small, they've had to supply magnifying glasses. So it's attacking so much information in they hope you'll ignore it. Oh no, I think people are pretty serious about things because effectively we've had a socialist government in power here since 2007 and they've taken the country from having an economic surplus to having billions of dollars in debt sort of thing. They have just ruined the place. We have lost so many manufacturing jobs. We've got illegal immigration problems with a lot of boat people from Afghanistan and Iraq and Iran. They all come via Indonesia. And yeah, it's causing a lot of things. But the main thing is I think it's just the But the government spending has just gone completely out of control and they're just wasting money on stupid things all the time. Well that was my next question. The government spending isn't going for a defence in the Pacific Rim is it? We maintain a defence spending. I think it's fairly standard and they're trying to sort of modernise the force so we're getting two new what do you call them? Helicopter landing aircraft carriers. Okay. And they might be capable of deploying the new Joint Strike Fighters if we get the, I think we're getting the marine version, the ones that I think Australia's got in order for about a hundred or so. Developed by the US. Yeah, developed by the US sort of thing. Okay. Yeah. So that's one of the things and yeah I just with what was the other thing the other day? You know how in the United States you guys have got various states and cities that have got really strict gun control laws and those states have got the highest crime? Yeah. Well the same thing applies over here too so we've got quite very strict gun control laws and some states are more strict than the others but of course the states where it's the strictest have got the highest crime, particularly drug dealers and stuff like that. And I think one of the funny things was we've got this huge database. Every state's got a database of all the licensed shooters and that goes with that is a complete list of all the rifles and the serial numbers and pistols and whatever that a person might have. And then apparently for a two year period the New South Wales Police Force someone accidentally put the database on an unprotected server. So then they've had a rash of break-ins at people's houses who have got pistols and stuff like that and the creams are coming in and stealing all the rifles and pistols. Because we've got to keep them locked up, you're not allowed to use them in self-defense. and the police are saying, oh no, no, no one got the information or anything like that. So there's been a big rash of these break-ins and then the drug dealers are doing sort of night time shootings down in Sydney in New South Wales. And then of course the greeny solution to it, this is your sort of, your really ranked left wing socialist types. Their solution to it also must ban or semi-automatic pistols which are already really tightly controlled anyway. But they're still loose on the streets? Well they're only, because they're the drug dealers weapon of choice and the greenies are saying oh well because they're going and stealing them from people's houses we're going to have to ban them from people's houses. You should see the logic there. So I just wanted to encourage you guys and everybody that's listening there is do not let I know they're trying to bring in gun laws and stuff like that. I'm a firm believer in gun safety and training people properly before you go and use a firearm because they are dangerous. But it can just get out of hand. And these people, once they start with those gun laws, they never stop. Once they take your semi-autos off you, then they're after your bolt actions and everything. It's a casting event, yes. Yeah, it never stops there. They never ever stop. And once they've got one thing with one law, they then chip away and bring in another law. Anyway, that's what my two cents were. Well, thank you again very much and the update for the continent. How did we ever hear from Australia? It's good to get the real world representation. We'll stand and talk about it. We'll use Australia as example. A number of years ago the NRA was running on the local televisions across the nation pictures of the guns that were turned in in Australia and Canada and going under the chop saws. So, you know, zing, zing, zing. And that one fine gun that used to be one now is seven pieces, you know? Yep, that's exactly what they do. Mind you though, I think a lot of people, not me, but a lot of people apparently at the time. There were a lot of, oh about six foot lengths of PVC pipe that was about 12 inches in diameter, was getting sold, along with end caps. And the hard way still was we're doing a fairly brisk business apparently. There you go, I understand. You've got to work some dream pipes. Gotta have big drain pipes, that's right. Particularly those six foot lengths ones that are capped with waterproof end caps. Yup, you can put a lot in them. And if you put them in right, you don't have to dig them out, you just have to take the cap off. Yup. Things like that and different things to put in them. It would be good to have some rapid response devices right at the top in case you get there and all you have is the clothes on your back, so to speak. I think Mark always said he and I think there's a lot of good logic to it. You can get those cheap Russian revolvers, not here in Australia of course because they're banned. But apparently you can buy second hand revolvers fairly cheap in the United States. And you know, if you do have a little emergency survival stash or something like that, you know, you have one of those at the top. You're not having trouble with any magazine springs. The rounds can sit in the chambers of the revolver for tens of years and still be quite functional in an emergency. There is that always ongoing debate, the wheel gun or the slide. That is a good point for long-term storage of a loaded gun. The wheel gun is going to be a bit more dependable than that spring and follower. That's a good point to be made there. If you had to put something on top of that PVC that you might not talk to, might not see or open up for a good long time, it might be a better thought to put a revolver there. Even if it is in the same caliber that your slide gun is in, but there's a revolver on top. Good point. And back to talking to Australia, when you talk about handguns being illegal, Even outside of the cities, that's something that is... You talk about different laws for different states, but even in what you would call a lenient state, it's still not easy to buy a handgun, is it? In Australia? Correct. Yeah, pretty much to... If you wish to own a pistol in Australia, there's probably only two ways, as far as I know, that you can do it. One is, with the most popular issues, you must join a registered pistol club. which is a great idea sort of thing and the process to actually get a pistol license is you have to be a member of the pistol club for six months you must be of good character you must go along and participate in six shoots and get the safety officer to sign off on it and then after the end of that six months then you can apply to get a pistol license And just to give you an idea, even with basic rifle licenses last year, we had people in our rifle club that had to wait 9 months. So this was a doctor, that's who it was, one of the most respected people in society. And he liked to do a bit of rimfire, small bore shooting, you know. Anyway, he applied for his license in February with his 15 year old son and it took the police 9 months. And this was just a straight bolt-action rifle license, not even a pistol license. So once you go down this path and you start to get the bureaucracy that's driven along, they will just drag their feet and sort of starve you out, so to speak. And eventually they'll probably bring in this whole business of registration of ammunition and all that sort of thing. Aren't they trying to do that in New York? Oh, again, you're going to have to show proof of identity to purchase ammunition. That's coming more and more. But you brought up a point that makes me think, even here in Michigan, if you live, everybody has that map of Michigan, palm up or palm down, right in the center of the state, right in the center of the palm of your hand or on the top, just under your knuckles. If you live up in there, there's a block of counties that's like seven or 12 counties. They all fall into the state guidelines. If you apply, you have to have an answer within 21 or 40 days or whatever. If you live in Detroit, you might have applied a year ago and still don't have an answer in Wayne County. They choose to use it as a throttle. or a choke point to how many guns are being purchased and carried in Wayne County or in Detroit proper. Now, Wayne County you might not recognize, but you'll recognize Detroit. Detroit, the largest city in Michigan and Wayne County being the county that Detroit is in. It's pretty slim and long time to get a pistol permit for concealed carry in Wayne County. and even today the state legislature is addressing it but the slowest they are it seems as if they will do nothing about it. A lot of the bureaucracy seems to have been, I'll use the word infected with this sort of Fabian socialist or gun grabbing type of thing and it comes back to the activities of that, what do they call it? The handgun control ink? people. We have got them here in Australia and they pretty much seem to follow exactly the same script. When you say you have that during in Australia, I can understand why you would say it is like, I have to use that word, infection. It is like goo around the world, isn't it? It is, yes. The lies and the methodology that they use to peddle there basically stealing people's freedoms. You know, it's the same when Nancy was talking about it the other day or two ago, I heard her speaking, and the methodology that they use, certainly that's exactly what they have used here in Australia. In the media they intentionally confuse the terms semi-automatic and automatic and machine gun and all that, you know, they call an AR-15 or a mini-14, they call them machine guns. Oh yeah, we see the same thing here and we touched on that three or four weeks ago, someone in New York talking about, oh, the only difference between an automatic handgun and an automatic rifle is, well, the automatic handgun, you have to pull the trigger one time for the gun to shoot once. blurring that line between automatics and automatic rifles and then you pull the trigger on that automatic rifle and you're going to empty that magazine and don't let go. You're right. They just seem to simmer up the lies, cook them up as quick as they can and hope we'll eat them up. Yep, that's exactly what they do. So, yeah, what you guys are going through now, we went and started it in 1996. Oh, and speaking of, I know we're probably running out of time. We're up top. Okay. Yeah, with the Port Arthur massacre that we had down here in 1996, which precipitated the gun laws coming in, I heard one person tell me the other day her father was a policeman at that time, and they were told that there was going to be a big event happen, and that they were to do nothing. They were to stand down until they were told. And so they basically, that was the foretelling of that. Correct flight. 9-11, the day of 9-11, we're doing an aircraft hijacking drill. Mmm. Thanks, everything. We have missile drills when planes fall out of the sky. Yeah. Pretty sad. Thank you for your call. That's right. It's lovely you speak to you, Don. You too, sir. Have a good day. Thank you. Okay, thanks Mike. Again, thank you for your call. God bless them. We are at the top. We've got to exit. They've left. Spike you want to know you want to close us sure God bless the Republic that's for the new world order We shall prevail prevail ladies and gentlemen the Empire is on the run, but we are on the march both day and night hoorah God bless you God bless America
