Mark Koernke and co-host Don discussed World War II aircraft performance and design philosophy, including comparisons between American fighters (P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt) and German aircraft (Me 109, FW 190), the threat posed by Japanese Kamikazes and B-29 bombers, and lessons about pilot training through gliders and scale models. The show pivoted to militia preparedness, emphasizing team-based defense, accurate marksmanship over automatic fire, and the importance of American-made equipment given corruption in military supply chains. Don promoted night vision equipment and accessories, discussing second-generation gun sights, storage solutions, and battery management. The episode concluded with criticism of Republican presidential candidates for imitating Ron Paul's platform and commentary on media portrayals of religion and patriotism in television programming.

I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low-meat, he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the... and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors. So their children, people, your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of Land. Preserve our great Republic in each God-given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As Iowoki vanished in the mist from whence he came. His word were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God given right we only watch and tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave is to still the land of the free and good afternoon ladies and gentlemen This is the afternoon intelligence report. I'm Mark Harkie And I'm done, Dutch. LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com. We're on AM and FM micro stations, AM and FM regular stations. Good afternoon to our many stations, our multi stations down in southeastern Ohio. We've got eight of the little FM's still up and online. Big, but you know, licensed. Anyway, that and many others, but also we're on the alternate technologies, both east and west of the Mississippi and Alaska. We're in the Hallmark network, top of Maine, bottom of Florida, bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico. headed to Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma. Big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both the pit and the third, then working our way across the plains, back to the east, of course, to the old west. We leap over the Mississippi and land in the Smokies with the restaurant crews, grandma teams, the OK teams, and up there in Cleveland, the Ma Bell Grammar Consortium of retired telecommunications workers. Some of them, having been retired for a while, still pretty busy. We got three 90-year-olds that were complimented this last weekend so I just want to remind everybody of that. And it is blah gray out there. We had that big gust of wind, clear then gray, then a little clear, then a lot gray and then deep cottony gray with some other stuff. What's it like in your neck of the woods and what's the date today, sir? Well Mark, on this tenth day of November, year of our lord, 2011, it's all that weather you just described came up here, just went by. You're right, pretty much the same and it's coming up from the south and well that front is looking like it's broken but it's pretty day here. Turquoise sometimes in the sky, sometimes gray. But did I mention the 10th day of November, year of our Lord, 2011? I want to run right into this, Mark. We've touched on a number of the subjects that I want to bring up here and melt. It one ball of wax. And I know it's not a Weapons Wednesday, but I think we mentioned F.W. 190s this morning and might have even mentioned, oh, Mustangs, you don't hang 40 millimeter cannons on a F.W. 190 and expect it to turn with a Mustang. That's what led me to this thought, Mark. Because when you guys, this is gonna reinforce a lot of what you've heard on Weapons Wednesday and Mark, you'll recognize this for certain. There was that Mustang and there was that P-47, you know, logically the P-47 came first. It was a bigger platform, really strong. What was that? Not Sikorsky. It was built by North American, wasn't it? I'm not sure. Northrop. Northrop, yes. Yeah, same ones brought us a flying wing later. The interesting thing is, remember, they were trying to do at that stage of the war, the idea was commonality of parts. Why not just take something as big as a B-17 engine and put it in front of a pilot? I was kind of disappointed when as a youngster, I mean that Mustang, they just looked so pretty. It's like the B-17 guys. They used to elbow those B-24 pilots and say, look, that's the box my plane came in. talking about a B-24 is box, a B-17 comes in. But, you know, looking at Mustangs, so much prettier than a Thunderbolt, but Thunderbolts, they were tough as nails. Again, back to 850 calibers, and Mustangs only had 650 calibers, three in each wing. Man, I kind of feel kind of shorted there, a little bit of gun envy going on. But you know what? Look over to the other side and many times when we talk about well as a while back We talked about the G suit and the Mustang platform pretty hard to beat if you're a Messerschmitt pilot Almost unbeatable unless you know you sneak up underneath them or come out of the Sun Well, the other thing that was pretty hard to beat was that 50 caliber because you know mark what was the that fw? 190 if it if it didn't have a well, it did have a 20 millimeter cannon firing through the the hub of the, the Messerschmitt later models had a 20mm cannon firing through the hub of the propeller. But up there on top of the cowling and out there in the wings, there were 30 calibers weren't there? There were 9mm or something. Oh 7.62 by something. 7.92 by 57, standard 8mm Mauser gun, yeah. Yeah, okay well even 8mm. Now what is that 50 caliber 12.7mm? Do the math you guys. Not to mention when you start hanging different guns, now this is, I'm going to use this as a little segue here, when you start hanging different guns on a particular platform, you start creating different ballistic events in front of them, don't you? As example, the, look at the 109 or the 190, that 30 cal has a particular ballistic arc, even if there's two here and four out there on the wings, you got six of them, two above the motor and two on each wing. Now invoke that 20 millimeter coming out of the hub. That falls at a different rate. It has a different velocity and in fact you might fly right through the two different trajectories. That's another problem with, you know, hanging different guns on. But going back to that 50 and oh, eight 50s in front, you get a Mustang, one Mindy in front of a Thunderbolt, it just rips them apart. Wing roots come apart. Fusilite, Kales get sawed off. And again, you know, that 109 pilot, he'd have to really stitch that area up real good of the cockpit. try to work something into that little 30 caliber 30 something that 8 millimeter trying to work something up into the motor compartment to break something so that well you wouldn't knock the whole airplane down but you break something that you know like hit a fingernail and the boxer cries out you know and falls out of the sky. But there's the difference the 30 caliber and the 50 caliber and let's take it a bit farther and change venues a little bit because As of late, and I brought this to you, you can see these different videos, World at War. I picked up and we've talked about why we fight. I've had that for years. And then got another copy of it. That one shorted me on the China thing, Mark. But oh well, there's another one out there, World at War and World in Conflict. You guys, you've seen it advertised. Get it now for $39.95. I bought it for $4 at Big Lots. I bought it for $4 at Big Glass. I like that kind of, that's almost for free compared to X amount on television. But somewhere in there, in the little editions of the Addendums, the appendages mark at the end, there's a section on the Kamikazes. And there's this one guy talking about, well, He'd survived, he'd watched the Kamikazes coming in waves and whatnot over days and days of time. And he'd boiled it down to a particular description. You guys soak this one up and you'll understand a lot of what we've been trying to purvey to you over the years. He said, well... After a couple days of it, you knew the Kamikazes were coming when you heard the din on the horizon. You know the picket ships, the destroyers had opened up on the horizon, you hear that move off in the distance. And then you know they're getting closer when you hear the five-inch guns on the ships, you know, between you and the horizon, and then the five-inch guns on your boat, the ship you're on, open up. You know they're getting closer. And you know things are getting a little Cuff when the 40 millimeters and then the the 20 millimeters open up and when the 50 calibers open up you're pretty much certain that they've targeted your ship and Then you try to find a rivet to hide behind now I might have got a couple of words of that wrong, but I'm certainly got the logical progression there, right and That describes the action or rather the ability to reach out and that you've tried to work into everybody, Mark, when you talk about like a main battle rifle or even beyond that a .50 caliber. So there's a couple good examples and I know it's not Weapons Wednesday but you know sometimes Don gets a spark in his mind and he just can't keep it to himself, Mark. So I couldn't save that one for Wednesday. But it's all historical fact, you guys. One of the interesting things, you know, when you brought up the, especially the section on the Kamikazes, It should be remembered that even though the Japanese certainly had the obvious fate and comply in front of them, they knew it was coming, they continued to develop better aircraft. And actually, the B-29, as we know, became a target just as often as a ship or a landing craft, didn't it? Oh yeah, there were a number of B-29s and in fact in that film I mentioned earlier, the film about the Japanese Kamikazes, there is instruction, there's a flight instructor holding a model of a B-29, I believe in his right hand and it's sweeping in front of him, and he has a model of a twin engine. I don't think it was a Betty Lader thing, like there was a flying dragon or something that was a bomber destroyer. old bleep cannon in the fuselage so the plane could fly underneath and shoot a cannon up at the B-29. He's instructing them how to strike and that's historical record right there. I've got that on film you guys on disc. Another one and we've talked about this and I mentioned this when I was standing there with the ground crew of Fifi the last flying B-29 and they looked at me and one of them said how do you know that? It was something he might not have even known. I don't remember the date, but one name comes in and because it kind of slips off your tongue and it's easy to remember, a B-29 named Waskaly-Wabbit was on its way to a mission over Japan one day and the B-29s around it watched a single-engine aircraft fly exactly down the tube of that. That's how one of the pilots described it. It went through the glass dome. and into the bomb bay and that plane just poof burst and it was done. There was nothing but like confetti from the sky. And you know that books over to the Japanese hated B-29s. A zero if you get a head-on pass closing you were lucky to turn around and catch up with the B-29 in the next five or ten minutes. of the speed of the closing, now you're beyond it and that plane's going so fast that way and now you gotta turn around and catch up with it. You have to do it a little more than 70 miles an hour one way and 70 miles an hour the other. You're talking 300 plus, you know, two to three hundred, two, oh well, 300 plus or minus, plus other wind speed and shear or push with regard to tacking. And then you've got the fighter itself, which of course not only does that take into consideration seed, but you have distance because you can't just earn on a dime. you've got to make that long swinging arc while you're trying to observe the target aircraft you might try to catch up with. Or formation, which typically that would be the case. The reason I bring this up is because the improvements in aircraft continued even right up until the end of the war, but by the time they got to the end, the basic rule was if they couldn't kamikaze, at least put as much armament on the aircraft as you could. And there were a series of bomber killers. Less sophisticated aircraft in some ways, but improved in several critical ways for altitude because they had to be able to reach the bombers. One of the other things that the B-52, the B-29, the B-52, well, I wasn't that much farther down the road. You know, I will point out something about that. I mentioned the B-52. The basic airframe for the B-52 first flew in 1949, and in reality, the complex prototype was already by 47. By 1959 a piston, they didn't have the engines. They had the airframe worked out, but they didn't have the engines, so actually a piston model was flown to test the airframe. Think about that the budget have been something to see the B-50. Yeah, the B-5-2 We're not talking the B you know like the the B-36 the B-36 was already laid down by the time the B-29 was in service the basic B-36 aircraft with its you know the whole thing that was considered was the type of Engine pods that were going to be jet that were going to be mounted on the B-36 that was the biggest issue with all of these aircraft is dynamic advancements in jet aircraft because of the captured engines we got from the Germans. Now, let's not forget we already had our own fighters. We had fighters, they just didn't have the performance of the ME 262. They were a step below. And so when we got the ME 262s, they were slid over to the US for US Air Force pilots and in fact a whole series of squadrons were organized in Europe to include using the trainer aircraft to bring us up to jet speed with aircraft that were already available. Now that's something in fact one of the cool things I know, I've got a few sets of them, when the guys were overseas, they over in Europe, down there were no jet pilot's wings, and you might recall pilot's wings used to have the little prop. Yup. Well what the guys did is they carefully took a set of snips and cut the props off. And that's what they wore on there for their insignia on their collars and for other stations on their uniforms. Because they were the first fighter pilots that we had in service. It doesn't mean we didn't have Bell. Bell made a couple of jets before the end of the war, but they never got into any dynamic actions that they'll admit to. See, that's the only problem with this. We know they were already billed. and priority of getting them where they needed to be, at least throw the teeth up against one of those 262s, probably happened, but the results may not have been, shall we say, reportable. We don't want to talk about it kind of attitude. Yeah, they got up there, but he also came down faster, sir. What? Yeah. Oh, we never got there then. What? Well, no, no. Let's just put it this way. We need to keep building those. Let's just say that ours worked, but we didn't really get up and go up against the Germans. So a lot of history that's been, I can see this with some of the stuff that's being written as opposed to original histories that you see from Bell, Grumman, and all the others. So stuff to watch there. But the reason to bring this up is because technology changes. However, Again, the threat, even though the B-29 obviously demonstrated a significant threat, the Japanese were, with lesser technology, able to come up to meet the opponent. So much so that a lot of bomber crews, again, they were just the angst was there just as it was for the B-17 and B-24 crews earlier on in the war. Operating in Europe, yeah. And again, the only thing that was, well, not a saving grace, a lot of those B-24 crews got slid over to the Pacific and a lot of B-20, B-17 crews got slid over to the Pacific, although they weren't flying against the same threat they were only, what, three, four months, they were two months earlier. B-26 crews, they gave them no mercy at all. They were transferred immediately to the Pacific and put right on the front. So something to consider there guys. Well our war is over. We fought and liberated Europe. Oh good. Well, then you go help with Japan. Now you're gonna go hammer up the Japanese maritime endeavors. So again one of the things because you know there I read about I read on the air here about the whole idea of counterfeit technologies. So back in the day all of our stuff was American made. Our aircraft would fly and if we had a problem we'd find out real quick what it was because we could track down who built it. Today we have so many glitch problems that our servicemen are at risk non-stop because of malfeasance on the part of politicians. This also means that our nation is at risk non-stop and that if we do not have a stopgap or a series of other defense structures in place to include the militia we are screwed and that's not an accident the globalists intentionally are doing that. Now, joining the military isn't going to do it. Why? Well, the machine is broken, guys. And not only that, but if it's being betrayed from within, and the soldiers are being betrayed from within, then being in the regular military is not going to be that insurance policy that we need to buy time so that we can kick back when the time comes and kick harder with every passing month. You've got one foot in their trap already. Yep, and that's where all the failures are, remember? Their supply train, the US military supply train across the board, is already being corrupted by the globalists across the board, the international bankers and the swine that we know that are part of several different factions that are trying to destroy this country. The only way that we're going to properly defend the continental United States is with American fighting forces that are truly American and are American equipped, or at least let's put it this way, our supply train is right here even though we do purchase from supply systems all over the planet stuff that everybody else is getting rid of. Why? We're looking for serviceable, we're not looking for pretty and we're not into fads. They so one of the things to look at and this includes the fact that you know we've got this debate about wool aircraft armor, etc guys the first thing Let's let's point this out. John. Would you say the German Air Force was pretty much a significant dynamic force? During World War two. Yeah at the beginning and it had claws right till the end right till the end In fact, some of the most modern aircraft were available in the hands of the German Air Force. Well, I Well, let me ask everybody something. What were those pilots flying 10 years before 1940? What were they? Oh, if they were running down the hill and pulling on that rope and a big airplane behind them was sailing into the sky, there's a big hint there, gliders, sailing planes. 99% in fact actually 100% of all those pilots initiated their time behind the stick on a glider typically home built Not even factory built in many cases what they did is they created or what were those terms? glider clubs Yep scaled up models of well scaled up aircraft from models that they had built earlier in their youth Think about that. See, even when they... and here's the thing, this is what really gets me. Remember, what was it? Flight of the Phoenix. And they got the German engineer, and this was post-World War II, so they were always trying to twist things around, so the Germans obviously didn't know anything, and they were really stupid. Oh, that had to be great. Really? Well, what's interesting is the guy that was the engineer said, well, we can do this, this, and this, and this thing will fly. And he goes, well, what aero company do you work for? He goes, so I work for so and so. And he goes, well, wait a minute. I have never heard of that before. Oh, we make model airplanes. What do you build? Yeah, model airplanes. You build models? Yeah. Well, you know, they built, you know, RC, you know, hobby planes, you know, the flue. All the principles are the same. Yeah, there's no difference. He just happened to end up with a smaller airframe, that's all, guys. Yeah. Think about it. So the point is that, again, for everybody, and this is the basic rule across the board, don't let any idiot try to tell you, well, if you're out doing that, you're not getting anything accomplished. Nonsense. You put anybody behind it, like we said, an Airsoft or a 22, and you get them there every day. By the time the getting graduate or able to get to the range they will be so familiar with their weapon truly they can operate the thing blindfolded Because it's repeat as long as and here's the thing you take discipline and apply it to the training intelligent process now Armor is the same way. In fact, I will point out again what the biggest thing that our enemy is terrified of is that we will learn to work and fight as teams, as units, not as a... Rambo! Okay, that's fine. If you have to fight by yourself, you do, but guess what? You better get away from them by a good distance and make sure you've got plenty of backups when the time comes if you think you're going to rest. Because if you're by yourself, well, eventually, Don, gotta close your eyes, don't you? Guys gotta go to sleep, and I might remind you it take a moment to do that to tell you about the old Arab saying about a Running man can cut a thousand throats in one night and then repeat guys gotta go to sleep don't eat So we may not get a second head out if he's not careful. See? Now the point is that as a team, you're able to rest, you're able to work, you're able to come up, you know, again formulate actions and with a combined effort to get the job done. So there's the infantrymen is built that way in the militia. Mechanized forces are no different and while the vehicles change basic concepts do not accept that again the rat pack concept, smaller, faster with lots of teeth, gets a lot more accomplished and what to rat pack care if one rat falls. In other words, if a vehicle dumps on you, guess what? You strip everything, drain the fuel, pull the oil, take the tires and you keep right on going. But again, If you acquire or are able to access more, you integrate heavier weapons systems. You integrate and apply them, but you've got to have some time on the stick, guys. Aircraft are the same way. Well, what good are tail draggers, or what good is this, or what good is that? In every conflict, despite what everybody says about how it's feudal-resistant, it will be absorbed, and they see all no alt, that's all BS. OK, that is croc. In fact, in a real conflict where the bad guys have to actually fight, With modern warfare, the world is not all upside contrary to everybody the same because you know what? The supply train for any army right now is in a global bucket. And if somebody wants to backstab somebody or betray somebody on it, you know what? You thought you were going to get everything you wanted and none of it shows up. That is as likely as not today. In fact, it's already happening with our troops. It's something that nobody wants to talk about. Where it needs to be, before it gets there, it's being stolen by some other swine who then turns around and sells it right back to the government double taps and triple taps and quadruple taps for the same junk three, four, and five times over. It's especially what the Israeli swine are doing overseas. So, with that being the case, please tell me how it's, you know, the world's people resist. No, just to reverse, we need to actually be prepared to defend ourselves. Our military is spread out around the planet. Oh, by the way, there was a little announcement here today, what is it, that they're going to affect. Somebody had a little burp on this. That they're announcing, they're going to announce we're going to put Marines in Darwin in Australia now. But you know what the argument about why we're doing that Don? Why? Why to counter the communist Chinese, but wait the communist Chinese aren't gonna like it That's what they're saying and my next question is but wait aren't they our biggest business partner? We did a lot of trade with Japan there in 37, 38, 39 Yeah sold them like we were talking about this morning a lot of scrap metal. They use it to kill a lot of our relatives Yeah, in fact a lot of guys landed on normal landed up once in army led it in any one of the Japanese islands They got a chunk of Ford Chrysler GM DeSoto right back in them only all that not quite all everybody I can't resist I got a bully bring this up and you know I did not read this in a comic book you guys. It was this one guy I think he worked at Ford Motor Company and he built a part that was kind of underneath the car and you know not real big and It was a type of a part that every once in a while he'd scratch his name in it and no one would be the wiser because it would go into the car and never be seen. I'm too sorry you guys. I wish I could tell you this guy's name. I got a fungus in print again. But he's riding along in a jeep and a plane drops a bomb next to him and the jeep's overturned and he looks around and he hears hunks of this bomb and he picks up a piece of metal and it's just something that was just stuffed into that bomb to be shrapnel. and it was a piece of metal he built at the Ford Motor Company and it had his name scratched on it by him. When I find this in print, I'll tell you, I did not read this in a comic book. Go fact you guys. Interestingly enough, one of the things that should be remembered is that right now especially with the development of militia forces to the extent that we've been able to develop them we have plenty of room for developing and improving our overall fighting potential and our ability to defend our homeland, our country. It's our nation guys. I don't have to apologize but none of you are going to either but you have to stay focused. I will repeat again you do not need to cut down any weapon do not modify any weapon. Why? If the weapon works the way it is other than maybe a little furniture if that's what you really really really want to spend your money on and you can do that because this is a free country. Don't do anything that is strange or exotic. Don't worry about collecting explosives but do understand how everything works because when you smack that other guy down you're going to walk across the battlefield or you're going to pick it up as you go strip them as you go and you are going to run into everything that you need and their stuff works. It's the same with automatic weapons. Don't convert anything automatic. You better learn first to hit it. If you can't hit it now, why do you think that somehow you're going to dazzle everybody with BS with a select fire switch? You see how that works? In fact, you know what? Look this way. Every day is a bullet that's got to go into a Soros. Every day is a bullet that's going to go into, you know, one of these skank globalists. Okay? To do that, you need to be able to hit the target accurately. accuracy over fire makes all the difference in the world guys. and everybody needs to know how they can get hold of you and what's available out there. And again, grab your pen and papers. You can call town if you have a question about night vision. Or if you're going to buy something, why are you going to buy from a stranger when we have a friend right here? Go ahead, Don. Thank you. I'll give you the phone number. I'm just a 20th century kind of guy, and that's a high form of communication. The telephone, you know, give me a call if you want to talk about night vision. The number is 231-1-1. seven nine six eight four five eight repeat two three one seven nine six eight four five eight we can talk about night vision goggles we can talk about gun sights we can talk about thermal we can talk about first second or third generation I could go on and on we could talk about stuff that'll hang on your helmet or stuff that will you know handheld or a binocular a monocular you know one way to look at it. So back to the phone number you guys, 231-968458. Again, 231-96458. Let's talk about gun sights for a second, and I do this a lot, but you know there's a second generation gun set. So wait, recoil. You know, your M1, your FN, your AR10, a whole bunch of other guns. You can put it on top of your bolt gun. That's bragging rights to hold up the 308 recoil in the night bin industry. Well, I would be so plain as to say that manufacturer says 1595 or 1599 they want for it. And then they're going to put their hand out for delivery too. Well, I'll tell you what, $1,300 in delivery, delivery will be less than 20 bucks anywhere on the continent. And it's yours. two year warranty on it. That's how confident they are. I dimension it will hold up to a 308 recoil and a two year warranty on it. That's how confident they are. If you want to talk to me about that device, give me a call. You can reach me at 231-796-8458. If you might have a Barrett or an Armolite or another 50 cal around and you think I'm looking for a piece of night vision for that. The same manufacturer offers a piece of warranty for two years. They say, hold up on top of your Barrett. Hold up on top of your Armorlite. One of Rock Millen's guns. No, they tell you, don't put it on an M2. There's no muzzle brake on an M2. And it could have something to do with that five pound bolt, five pounds plus, just ringing back and forth. They'll warranty it on top of your Armalite AR50, AR50. They'll warranty it on top of Ronnie's M82. With that in mind, if you're looking for something that'll live on top of your 50 caliber, you guys, I can say that we can offer that in second generation. Now, the manufacturer, they were real stubborn on that. That was their flagship piece. If you could hold up the 50 caliber, they would only sell it with a third generation tube. You could get a fourth generation tube, even better technology, arguably, than third generation. After about a year of cajoling and twisting their arm and prodding them, you offer it with a second generation tube mount. The price down and a little bit of low light performance and lifetime of the tube. But if you're looking in that direction, you guys, if you want a second generation gun sight that will hold up to your 50 cal, boom, we got one. Excuse me, and I will beat their prices on that device too. I just can't. I don't have them in front of me. And I don't remember them enough to say that I can do this and I can do that. So the second generation price was firm, you guys, compared to theirs, compared to mine. And I'll do a real good deal on the other one, too, compared to the price. If you want more time for the phone number, you guys, you can reach me at 231-796-8458. You know, you might think, well, I need a viewer. Here's other applications. It doesn't have to be a gun sight, although as mentioned earlier, not today. I move a lot of gun sights compared to binoculars or monoculars. Now with that in mind, you don't have to put a gun sight on a gun. You can hold it in your hand, use it like a viewer. And then someday in the future, well, I'm going to put it on a gun now. The thing is, if it's just a gun sight held in your hand, Either way, it would be real good for just escaping evasion or moving to and from an area like a deer blind. Now that brings it back into a more civilian peace time application. A good way to get used to moving across land because you're kind of in that hunter mode and moving down a path that you're familiar with and you're trying to be real sneaky. all of that stuff you do when you're hunting. So I just want to bring that one out too. Yeah. Alright, are you hearing static from time to time? No. Okay, because you cut out on us a couple of times. I've been short the first time I heard it, it was a little longer, but you've been cutting out with bits of static. I'm not sure where that's coming from. I'll see if I can, if it's on my end, I'll see if I can fix it, but I just want to let go. Okay, thank you. Again, no, it's, if the We'll take care of it. That's one thing you can count on, Eddie's working on it, so it'll be taken care of. One of the things that, again, a reminder guys, if you're going to be using night vision, Don, we need to improvise some hard case or pelican case type packages that aren't too big, small enough to fit into that large, for instance, if you're going to go to the large Alice Pack or whatever Alice Pack system, either something that can go into a slide type pouch on the outside or something that we're going to, for instance, the Battery station there's a little battery pocket on the back inside the Alice pack Good place for the night vision to go because it'll be best protected But we still need a hard case number of different options out there throw away briefcases we can repad those Most of the night vision does it come with a hard case of any kind are they using a clamshell? What have they got going for most of them? Well the piece I mentioned earlier the 308 capable second generation piece $1,300 plus delivery That comes, the manufacturer says, that's another way to keep $100 off the price. It's basically, it is a Pelican case. And you know, Pelican cases are pretty neat. You could bury one, you could, you know, it's o-ringed, you could leave it under, you know, for how many thousands of years, but. Don, are you, I know we're going to ask if we're going to do this on the air. Are you using another different phone or something because it's all? Interesting, it almost sounds like it's a headset failure. Yeah, it's come up a few more times now where it's just been static, sounds like white noise cutting in while you're talking. Okay. I am not tr- I haven't found it yet on my end if it's on my end. Well, it did rain here and we're subject to this, you know. Like right now. No kidding. I didn't mean anything. Nothing changed. You were- You said we're subject to- And you know what? You're right, you are. Interesting. The static was perfect. We are subject to either that or I mean, do we have anybody else hooked up? Okay, so it's just yeah, it's just us and it's a clean line actually other than the fact you the other problem is in General we've got another wave. It's clear outside again. We still have a wind not quite the heavier wind that we had a Few hours ago, but it's a constant breeze which means we still have another front probably moving through But we have clear air above right now in this area that's down here. Just visions of things to come why we got to have other stuff in place. I've got some other equipment boxed up for you We haven't got in the mail yet, so it'll be out outbound soon Well, one of the reasons I bring it up is for any of your people listening, guys, Kmart, Meyers, Wally World sell flat black or chromed little mini pelican cases of different sizes for all kinds of electronic projects, you know, for stuff, you know, whatever, even for still for CD carriers or for, you know, for instance, laptops. Now, they're big enough for most of the night vision devices, but you're going to have to come up with a foam pad, either cut out a hard pad system, literally cookie cutter out what you want to put in the pad, you know, inside the carrier. Or you can go with a waffle type padding, which will of course lock it into place. It won't put excessive pressure on a given part. The big thing is that you do want to carry some kind of shielding container so that you've got a hard shell over the night vision. It's too valuable, as we know. You are going to end up having to carry it in the field at some point, guys. So you better do it beforehand rather than waiting until the last minute. If you're going to invest in the equipment, if it doesn't come with something, or maybe if you think it needs to be a little different because you want to add something to the storage system, then start thinking ahead before you invest and try to find something. Another place to look for equipment like this is camera supplies. There are some really nice camera cases that are armored, double foam padded on the inside, have variable geometry inserts so you can change the container inside. You can find these sometimes used or you can find them again in distress shops or you can find them in camera shops that are at their distress places. Now it is because the money is not there the way it was a few years ago guys. So if you shop around chances are you'll find what you need if you're patient and look to see what's out there in the system. Uh oh, any other consideration there? Well, we still got about 10 minutes. The other consideration is with regard to batteries. And Don, rechargeables if at all possible, right? Oh, any time you can do that. You know, you can get that. That would be something that I would build a bigger slightly or look for a slightly bigger box so it's contained in the same box. The other thing is you hollow out a little bit for batteries in the foam so that batteries don't rattle around and bang things apart. You've got things rattling around, you've got glass lenses, not a good combination, right? Well, what's a lot of fun is, again, if you're looking at the different distress shots, you never know what you're going to find, including other cases. One of the things that I found that's kind of convenient, there's a lot of stuff that Polaroid did in the way of boxes and containers for other camera equipment. And almost always the boxes or carriers are separated from the equipment originally came with. People are just like that. So if you watch the shelves, you might find something that will serve your purpose that's pretty economical if not a giveaway, free. That's always a nice word. We know that's a good one. That's one of my favorite words. It's the root word of freedom. And with the cases that you have available, the biggest thing is pad and reinforce. The shell itself is the big thing because getting pucked on, getting beat, you got in a backpack, you're running along during the day, you never know what's going to fall on it. You're going to want to throw the pack up to somebody if you're jumping into a vehicle, leaping from a vehicle, which is just as likely as not. that pack takes a lot of abuse. So we got to make sure that we again properly shield the equipment that needs to be protected. I would go so far as to even say that with some of the smaller stuff, I carry a couple of little different optic devices that are quite compact. And what I did years ago is I started watching for other types of carriers that could allow me to carry it in my utility vest. And for the little periscopes is to actually one's a little, you know, little Tesco Optic, a little micro-monocular. But it's actually a pretty decent little piece. It's held up well. I finally found a case that had nothing to do with optics. It actually was for some goofy little kid's boy. But what's neat is it was narrow enough so it didn't take up any more space. Armored on the inside, had some nice, you know, hard padding. and reinforced because the way it was two pieces of class plastic into a clamshell that it can take an impact because I'm wearing this thing, it's on my vest, inside the vest so I beat on it. Well, your backpack or even if you're carrying it in say your utility pack, say you just have it to the backpack. in some form or even load it. Just say hey that's most what's going to be in the fanny pack is my night vision. Well if that's the case you better make sure that you've got that thing armored up. You may even want to reinforce the padding with some micro thin or fairly thin say quarter inch thick high impact foam. It's available out there you can find in grays, greens, blacks or even white. Purely matter what can you find for the cheapest. Another solution is this malleable, it comes in sheets, it actually is, and again, a high impact foam, floats by the way too, but you could actually wrap the inside of the pack so you offer a little more reinforcing and padding still beyond everything else. I'm just paranoid about the idea that I don't want to lose that piece of equipment to, you know, shake and bait. You know, it gets too hot, it gets too, you know, get beat up. The other consideration there is, especially with regard to batteries, solar panels, things of that nature, is figuring out ways to hook up the solar panels to your gear so that you can use whatever light there is available and charge up, even if it's only to a limited degree, the batteries that you do have. Remember, a couple of hours and then it going dead is better than no time and having to wait to crank the batteries up in some other form. That's not a deserved... Exactly. yeah it's not desirable situation but it would not work out anything else because we're headed towards a cop and i have to go after the top well it there was a debate here in uh... michigan last night uh... republican debate i didn't see it but i've seen little clips and excerpts from it that guy from uh... texas you know the just uh... i got a more than once in a great while mark i'll be rolling along and and stop and uh... What's that word? You might even hear me say that. I've said it before. What's that word I'm looking for as the gears grind and you have to double clutch the brain and and then match the motor speed to the road beat and then Don's talking again, you know? That's kind of acceptable from Don, but from a presidential candidate. Well, it's interesting. I don't know if you've seen it, Mark, but it's kind of funny. Oh you mean the parrot thing? Yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, it was like, you know what's funny? He was parroting. But he wasn't even a good parrot. In fact, he'd probably turn that parrot into Chinese barbecue. Because he's trying to fake being Ron Paul. And so he was trying to decide what of the, you know, I'm gonna get rid of three governments like Oliver now doing the I'm gonna get rid of a government agency I'm gonna get rid of three. I'm gonna rid four. No, I'm gonna get rid of seven. I'm gonna get rid of seven. You hear that? Of course none of them will ever get rid of any of them. See that's the reality. Why you're a top hat and cane. Yeah. Three, four and throw in the top. Sold to the man with the best bid. Did you hear that Frank? I told him I was gonna get rid of seven and I ain't gonna get rid of any. Because that's exactly what these jackasses are doing there. Isn't it what's funny? The only man honest about it? And Ron Paul kind of poked fun at him because he said no, five. And he looked at the other one and said five. And the other one was, I'm gonna get rid of Paris going, I'm gonna get rid of three. I'm gonna get rid of, I'm gonna get rid of, I'm gonna get rid of three. And it's just an example of how these dupes, they figure that hey, Ron Paul has got a message, that message has been complete and has been consistent for as long as he's been in office. And all these other fakes are trying desperately to sound like him. Plastic Perry, what have I said before? Plastic Perry, Rom-Dumb Romney. Romney never saw a government institution, he didn't want to double in size. If he could, he'd put a gun to everybody's head and confiscate every gun in the country. That's what Rum Dum Romney's about. If everybody doesn't understand that, that fool is an anti-firearm gun grabber right from the word go. Sarah Brady would walk up and give him a French wet kiss if he became president. That's what Rum Dum Romney's worth. And then a medal? Yeah, and then a medal. Seriously, so you know there there's one of the things that everybody better think about you know again Perry worthless pile You know what the rest are maltrite it. I could sound that crowd ball Why don't you just get the real thing up around Paul? Oh, speaking of, you know, another candidate, didn't that one guy who did that 999? What, that was a few years ago, that was in a movie about a bunch of, it must have been about a bunch of people who killed Hitler. It didn't happen that way, historically. 999, if I'm not Hitler, it was someone else. But now, he, for a little while ago, it became 909, didn't it? Remember he was trying to gain some favor from some place, like maybe the Tea Party? Yeah. But now he's back to 999 mark. Well, it's like I said, so he wants to tax you about 30% to begin with and then it'll get worse with as soon as he gets it. As soon as they get that legislation passed, as soon as it would be done, it would be 10, 10, 10, 11, 11, 11, 20, 20, 30, 30, 30, 40, 40, 40, wait a minute, you can't tax me 120%. But they'd try. Yeah, think about it. They would I mean that's the thing it'd be like you know it'd be taxed in our meat in our drink Be taxed in everything that we do that we do remember what the founding fathers said we should shoot them out of here for Because that's what they did So how are they wrong? Oh, of course, now if you watch the BBC or if you watch any of the new history channels, they are all, in fact, they're yapping about how, well, the American Declaration of Independence was illegitimate. Well, whoever wants to say that, tell you what, get your story hanged in overseas and stay there. I don't have a problem with that, but just don't come back. See, it's that simple. But again, that's not a surprise. These characters are trying to re-implement publicly. I don't know if you've seen, and I know we're almost at the top here, Dom, but real quick, have you seen the next twist in, you know, the rehashed Battlestar Galactica became Dramaturg, Fembot, Slash, Lesbo, you know, Supercom, right? No, I haven't seen it. And it flat out, what they're doing, they've gone the full twist upside down where, you remember they had the pathion of gods. Remember they were, you know, whoa, gods forbid, you know, G-O-D-S, gods forbid, you know, etc., using all of that, you know, the construction with all their sentences. You know, when they're talking about a reference to God, we have to add an S because, well, they have an evil group in the series that believe in a single god and They have the eternity symbol, okay? The figure-eight laid sideways, best way for everybody to remember, okay? And they're all evil because they're like, and of course they're the quote-unquote terrorist, Don. Which doesn't make any sense to me. It's like, and why are you bombing what? And why are you bothering with this? And it's like, well, the whole thing doesn't make sense because it can't incorporate anything that would make any sense into it to make it justified, to make it function. But it's absolute neuro. It's Rome. Okay, literally. That's what they're playing here. And they've plugged it right in as if, you know, oh look, she's right at the top. Yeah, it didn't go as far as they expected. It's called Caprica. It's a series that's been off of Battlestar Galactica. It's like a prequel to Battlestar Galactica. Capricon being remember the original one of the home planets of the original colonies anyway.
