Live 365. Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free and home? Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. This is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I mark her key One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines and occupied territories Central West Southeast and North Well ladies and gentlemen you were listening to us on libertytreeradio.4mg.com, pbna.4mg.com, and we are on live 365, then go to Liberty Tree Radio. We're also on AM and FM microstations, CB base stations, and Ultra Net Technologies, both east and west of the Mississippi, along with... Southern and Central Alaska. We're on the Hallmark Network on the Eastern Seaboard. Top of Maine, bottom of Florida, across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana, all the way up to Nebraska. Waving to all of our friends to the west, we turn back to the east, spread across the plains, leap over the Mississippi land and the Smokies with the restaurant crews, Grandma teams, the OK teams, and the Ma Bell Grandma Consortium. of retired telecommunications workers to include the old Lucid employees that gave us a heads up on what was going on there years ago. I want to say thank you, of course, now a lot of that operation is overseas hidden away in places like Australia, Indonesia, Communist China, and even Thailand. What do you think about that? Yeah, it's pretty well taken over by the foreigners, but again they were foreigners when they were here to begin with. They were actually in control. And the Chinese, of course. They're the ones who did the Dirty Deed as we know it, like with everything else in America. It is the 4th of November. It is the 4th year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K-2011 old earth calendar. And that means it's also Quartermaster Friday, as we've been pointing out. I will remind everybody that we have Couple of special projects in motion and want to say good afternoon to all of our friends all the training sites and all our micro FM's this afternoon Appreciate you guys rebroad casting want to say hi to the third regimental combat team colon colonial marine militia They're up there training at camp emmerick at the new facility and going oh And all the new construction there, so they're gonna give us a kind of a field report some of the guys I'll be back down this way hopefully the end of the weekend probably Sunday night or maybe Monday night we'll see what happens if they can stop by. We do have the MidMichigan meeting is a go for everybody out there listening MidMichigan meeting is a go and that is tomorrow. Also we have let's see one, two, three actually everybody is active all sites are open this weekend there are no changes so if you are just now getting off work and you're gonna be packing up and heading up to one of the facilities camp Okemah all the ranges are open there. Camp Wayland North, Emmerich Emerson, New Camp Stasa, which by the way everything is so the the red flags up on all the ranges this weekend at Camp Stasa I think they've got a new pistol range up there too. It says to let's see supposed to have 50 shooting stations and it is a go so you guys gonna be whoever's up there this weekend will be the first to use them. We'll see how that turns out shouldn't be a problem and again safety first. Also I mentioned this morning and I want to make sure to pass this on again guys. The reason is because I haven't seen these in a while and it's I should go to the different sponsors. I need to go to their pages more often. Forgive me. In fact almost every couple of days because you never know what people are going to scrounge up now. and the reason I say that is because especially with freeze dried foods as you know guys the everybody's been grabbing them every once in a while freeze dried guy knows his stuff he's been really deep into the business for 30 years I've dealt with more than 30 years I've dealt with him for 30 years this is year 2011 I have been buying from the freeze dried guy for 30 years and mostly submarine rations and stuff because that's the best price and when they used to have the trade shows I would buy up the stuff that they would bring to the shows and just that we didn't have to carry it home didn't have to ship it back or whatever and we carried off with us and drag it off and put it in our storage. Well right now November special long-range patrol ration entries lightweight more meat freeze-dried Multi-case discount and free shipping click here to start shopping. Well, of course the call number is 866-404-3663 that's 866-404-3663 that's 866-404-3663 The website is the freezedriedguy.com. Freezedriedguy.com. That's www.freezedrygui.com. Then go to the specials. And these are going fast. Order today. You know, I can imagine. Price is excellent. $132 per case for 20 pouches. Each entree pouch yields 21 ounces of food rehydrated. Now, again, remember it's styrofoam. It's freeze dried. I would get a mix but it's purely a matter your personal choice choose between hearty and delicious Friday's such as beef stew beef stroganoff chicken with rice chili mac with beef and spaghetti with meat sauce Call 866-404-3663 above to assure your order. We accept cashiers, check money orders, personal checks. Checks will have to be held for 10 days. And PayPal. So if you have PayPal, you can go direct and buy. A lot of people use PayPal. A lot of you have different ways of your trading back and forth. Well, you can use PayPal to buy these lerps. And again, This is a good price for these. I haven't seen these in this variety for quite some time. Maybe somebody else has found a cool spot. I order your long range patrol ration entrees today while supplies last. Of course, freeze dry guy customers receive free shipping to the lower 48 states. So that includes shipping. Now you do the math there's 20 pouches to per case this is in the and now this is in a wider more like the popcorn pouch this way I would describe it about like a Microwave popcorn pouch when it's open after you've popped it, you know, this big fluffy thing. Basically that's the size of the pack you're looking at. Freeze dried, I guess you can if you want to escape space. You know, I've never really thought about doing that, but a couple of guys that I did, I didn't know, I didn't care. They'd squash the stuff if they could, but you leave it open. to allow it all for the water to get around the material so it will rehydrate faster. The only problem with squashing it down is it makes it a little more difficult for the moisture to mix in. So until you shake up the bag, you might as well squash it. pour the water in seal the thing and shake her up really good to get the moisture mixed in because remember it's freeze-dried guys but if you don't worry about it you want it mush and flatten fast that's one of the ways to do it otherwise if you follow instructions and stuff pretty much looks like what it says in the package beef stew beef stroganoff chicken with rice chili mac with beef which just thinking about that one that is an excellent uh... lrp I never had spaghetti with beet sauce, that's a new one. Beef stew, yes. Beef stroganoff, no. Chicken with rice, yeah. The chicken with rice that we had in the old LRRPs basically had peas, carrots, lots of rice, even had some mushrooms in there, and then cube chunks of chicken, but they were big chunks of chicken. And again, single, oval modules that were about the size of if you just take your hand like you're grabbing a 6 inch or say a 12 inch submarine sandwich. basically That's the way to describe it the new ones are a little squarer obviously so you can get into them a little easier to eat Typically we would just peel them back you would eat as you go and then peel them back and peel the container back roll it back in itself when you were done pour water in then seal it shut shake it up and drink everything of course like the guys he was saying this morning hell you if you're hungry if you're looking the you're looking the package clean you literally are so because you're hungry Usually if you're in this type of situation and you're in the field, you're going to get every calorie out of whatever you can that you're carrying because guys, you're limited in food reserves. So anyway. Freeze dry guy customers receive free shipping to lower 48 states That means right off the bat if you were to check to see what the shipping per case would be you probably would be Fascinated to know that that's pretty good savings. So I don't know how they really pick out which of the order today I guess is what you do. Tap the order today key. Spaghetti with meat sauce entree, chili mac entree, chicken and rice entree, beef stroganoff entree, beef stew entrees. These are obviously foil, they're the foil ration packs. Almost reminds me it looks more like, to be quite honest, might be the Air Force variant, but that's possible because we used to see those on occasion. Very rarely do we get them. If you could steal them from wherever, we usually had the Air Force LERP type rations on occasion. That's what these might be. I'd have to find out. I'll have to talk to him to see what he says. Anyway, they're 20 of the same item to a case. Apparently, you can't mix and match the case. So it's 20 of the spaghetti with meat sauce, 20 of the chili mac with beef. I love that one. Chicken with rice should be good. Beef stroganoff and tray, have to try both of those. Beef stew, yeah we've had that, that's been around forever. The beef stew is like a basic, that's the guarantee, they always had that. The chili mac, people would try to grab. The reason again, especially since, see if they've got the recipe here. When disaster strikes, you must walk farther, faster, and longer. Or let's see, and longer. Range patrol ration entries to feed your family. Okay, well num num. Anyway, one more time on that to make sure you got the number. It's 866-404-3663. $132 per case for 20 pieces. that includes shipping. So remember that when you were to go, well it seems like a little high. Guys, shipping is what's really smacking it, smacking the side of the head nowadays. So if the shipping's included, make sure that you figure your math on that and then calculate the cost per unit. It's that simple. Figure what? $20 per case? Would that be about right? I would think even though it's volume, so not so much as weight. I'll do a spec on that too real quick and I'll talk to the freeze-dried guy and I'll have an answer on that by next week because I'm interested in some of these myself to be quite honest. This is a great item to have to put in your combat kit. I use sweat packs, dry packs like this, mix of other dried items that we do at home. We do mushrooms, we do dried jerky of all kinds and this would be a great complement to your battle pack. So just something to think about. Plus, great thing to throw a whole case just in the trunk. Re-box them, actually. Maybe repackage them so that they're in something that can take a lot of a beating. But a great item to have, or great items to have in a package where you can forget about it, but if you need it, you got it. Something to think about. Also, great rations to put in caches, because again, though it does take up some space, it's lightweight. If you're already, say, beat up, tired, or whatever. You're looking at a decent field ration. Normally you put water purification systems or you put water in your cash storage. So rehydrating the stuff and bringing it back from online wouldn't be a big deal. But the big thing is a lot of food for a little bit. Something to think about there. Oh, I heard the ding. We might have a caller. There we have a patient listener. I think that's what you're for. OK. Here. You're 100% correct there, Eddie. There we go. Anyway, again for our friends out there, LRRP's 866-404-3663. And that's Freeze Dry Guy. And you go to the webpage and check out the store, you know, the products and specials. Let's see what else they do have in the way of specials out there. Well, apparently the LRRP is that for the, it for the, oh, wait a minute, oh, there might be more. You never know. No, no it seems to be it for the moment. No, maybe not. I'm gonna double check here because as long as I'm scoping them out, you never know. You might find something interesting. Anyway, uh, ooh, hold on a second. Maybe there is something else there. No, it's the same thing. So that seems to be the special for right now the LRP. LRP, LRP, not LRR, long range patrol. CW I don't know what the CW right here. Sorry about this guy's I'm looking at this right now live to see what else there is Preparedness items. There's a whole bunch of other cool stuff through the through the Freeze dry guys site. You might want to just scope it out check it. Yeah pet food I didn't know he's carrying pet food now. So there's something you vegetarian Well, don't worry. We'll all be vegetarians at one time or another. It's just that certain points I'm sorry the vegetarians are gonna have to understand that they're probably gonna be something other than vegetarian in order for them to survive the way things are looking Because I'm not making too many specialized meals for anybody in the future. Okay, just how it works You're gonna have to either eat it or starve and I don't have a problem because don't worry there's lots of other people standing here that if you don't want you want your helping okay just that simple anyway uh... good option there now another thing real quick and main military guys uh... they also have rations something that i have mentioned a bit here too although again different lines of stuff but if you if you're looking for rations you gotta talk to frank about this he has some special package deals and in fact on our food rations of different types and different storage systems you might want to give him a ring talk to him at the store tell him that Mark sent you and you know from the Intel report and he'll give you some clues as to what it is that he can hook up because there is a lot of stuff out there again that's a little more specialized but for those of you that are looking for supply and support, especially when it comes to food. There's a whole bunch of Wise Company for instance is one that he carries and Again pretty good rations. I've used those before if you take a look Talk to them. They've got some package deals, and they're using the plastic by no food in the bucket system Which is everything in a same kind of can that they use for kitty litter I know where everybody goes eh yeah, we know the plastic square buckets actually they're a good idea and We started doing this years ago, but we were using these square pastry buckets. You get all the fillings and stuff in. Instead of them being round, they're square. They're actually still the same volume, but they take up less space. You have less waste and space around the container. They stack well. What's nice is that, of course, the LCs have a carry handle. But one of the reasons I bring it up is because that company has been around for quite some time. They're not a Johnny Come Lately operation. And a lot of backpackers are familiar with that food system. So if you haven't taken time to check that out, it's food and utensils. A couple of things I got there, of course, is the Pyro Pack Stove Kit. Basically a hobo stove something to look at because there are options Also, as you know the Swiss M71 you guys have bought up most of stoves from a military idea Hope you all know that there are some solutions there. You can go to the LTR special section Another thing to consider and I know people like the MRE heaters, I use those for improvised problems because remember they produce a gas that's flammable. So it's why they have a warning on there if you're in the back of a deuce and a half and eight guys are eating and somebody wants to smoke, get out of the back of the truck. If you're inside an enclosed area because if you're all using those MRE heaters, somebody likes a cigarette or thinks they're going to and the sides of the canvas on the truck go... as the gas erupts and of course eyebrows are singed and mustaches are burned. Oh he didn't know that? Oh yeah, better do a little research on those MRE heaters and understand they have other applications. In other words, what if you wanted to do that intentionally? That's mean. Anyway, one other thing that main military has, well actually there are two other items. Number one, they do have a number of different stove systems and campfire systems too that are out there for using grates and cooker systems. But they do have the German folding stoves with fuel, five pack for $10 guys. And those are the German trioxine. You don't use the whole tab, just use the chip. But the neat thing is the stove is also the carry system for your fuel. So you might again remember and you got to instruct people show everybody how they work They don't just like the whole bar and well let her go Because trust me that's way too much heat and you're wasting a lot of material The cube that's in there if it's right into the stove is broken up into sections And I wouldn't even use most of that I would use a chip off of one of those to heat up a canteen The stove is designed so it'll it'll actually a little little fold out stove a US canteen couple sit right on that And another thing is that the German kidney or all the different European kidney three-piece cook sets will sit right on that too so you can cook up like those for instance the freeze-dried food packs you see up above you could drop those right into one of the European mess kits and add water and cook everything else or add the other goodies as you want to create a meal. However, now I want you everybody to take a look at this because if you go to, and I have, and Frank sent us one of the, an example of one that he has, they're brand new in the wrapper, they've never been issued. They have the immersion heaters. It's heater, immersion, USGI. Crated complete model M67 if any of you were ever looking for a heater system You know like the army used to do how we fade all them people well one of the things is using either a 55 gallon drum with the top cut off it or galvanized garbage pails steel garbage pails This immersion heater sits down inside that. You pour water in there, use a drip system, fuel system. These things are $150 a piece. They are definitely worth the money. They are brand new, unissued, slash, well, new unissued. We'll see brand new because they're Vietnam era. But we used to be we would use three of these. Now that we do two things with this. When we had sea rations, we would take the main course out of the sea ration. First we would of course take the Actually what you do is take the submerged heater put it in the can Take your main courses and divvy them up between the three Different garbage barrels that you had there which were clean they were only used for water and for heat guys, you know for processing and Then you what you do is you pour your water in and you start up the immersion heater and all of the main courses are heated up at the same time using the immersion water heating system. What's really neat is when you were done of course everybody comes along and they take you know you throw a sea ration box to everybody with the main course missing of course because it's in the immersion heater tank and you get to pick one of those out or the cook basically just fork one out and hand it to you and take whatever we give you. Now sometimes they let you be a little selective but usually they say hey just trade off with somebody else keep running going here's your meal here's your meal here's your meal here's your meal but the difference is you had a warm main course. Okay, so if it was, you know, ham and limas, or if, you know, we have, they're ready to number, of course, chicken with rice, chicken a la king, very rare. Later on with the MREs, it became very common. But whatever the main course was, it could be ham and eggs, whatever, well, it was warm. and you took your little P-38 and opened up the can and you had a warm meal, main meal. Now the rest of your MRE course, forgive me, your C-Rack course was all in the box and you took care of that and it was your candy and your crackers and your cheese and whatever else was in there for pears or peaches or apricots if you were lucky. Anyways, the immersion heater when you were done, you had the water there, everybody was using their mess kits to dump everything in that, eat off that if they wanted. Well when you were done your utensils and your mess kits needed to be cleaned. Well guess what? You had one of the three immersion heaters was used with soapy water. The other two was left as clean or rinse water. And lo and behold you came back through, used the unit, washed your utensils in your mess kit, then dipped them once in the rinse and then shook it off and then dipped it in the other rinse and you were done. the same hot water it was generated for heating your main courses be they the old sea rations or later on your MRE pouches was the same water you know the same water system heating system was used to create your washing system for your gear. So it was a pretty cool idea and for those of you have large numbers of people that you're supporting you know or have in the field this immersion heater system is a solution something that can be used. You also need hot water for medical units. This is another solution for you creating hot water for your medical units. So, you know, keep that in mind. And these are virtually new Vietnam era. A lot of you guys are familiar with them. In fact, there's some pretty good, there's a good pictorial there showing exactly what it was talking about. I didn't think about that, but. Lo and behold, they even have a picture of, you know, there's the mess kit with your mess utensils and how you basically dipped them, shook them off, washed them off, and then dipped, you know, from the wash to the rinse to the next tub, you know, which was your final rinse, and on you went. Pretty cool idea. And yes, it would boil water. They will boil water. Okay, trust me on that one. It'll be cooked. When you're done, it will be cooked. So anyway, they're in the crate, they're brand new, never issued, and a cool tool for everybody to have out there. I have a couple that are missing parts that are backups for spares, and then I have the couple that are brand new in the crate. So they're pretty well on standby, ready to go on the cheap trailer along with a lot of other equipment. For those of you out there, again, go to main military. Then go to for the section that you want to go to what you're going to do is key into food and utensils scroll down to the very bottom of food and utensils and you'll find the immersion heater sitting right there $150 dollars it's the model M67 their beautiful condition and they're in the original military crates as they were sold. Another thing is that there are some other companies out there to have some of the other accoutrements or or or kit items that would go with kitchen gear like this but the heater systems usually the thing that are missing. In fact there's even some companies selling the mess kitchen trailers that have all of the cookware. In fact one of the other things is a neat stove item that if you can find them they were available about two years ago. I mentioned everybody. We need to go out and pick these up. They came in en masse. I don't know where they went but man people grabbed them and they were gone. It's possible even a military I'm talking about from the job or in stuff you don't see guys I go to the warehouses and I get to see piles of this stuff well Piles of it came in and it was offered in the field kitchens with the stoves where there's a total of about 80 some items that come in the kit For those you might have been in the kitchen or mess, you know with the KP operations the whole stove basically is the size of a Oh, I would say like a trash compact or a little trash compact really choose but the house but when it folds out the their wings The center of it is where the stove is located one pan fits inside the other pan which fits inside the other pan which fits inside the other pan and this is designed as a field kitchen in the field It's modular, so when it's all put back together you have carry handles, you pick it up, you sling it around, it has all your mess kit, basically all your cook spoons, strainers, even knife kits were supposed to be in there depending on which model you have. Most of the knives are usually gone, that's the first thing people pilfer from them in the system. But the basic kitchenware, if you run into those, this and the mermite system, forgive me the immersion system, that's another item, mermite cans. You've got everything you need to heat the stuff up put the stuff in storage or put stuff in a thermal carrier and get it out to the troops Or have it ready for the troops are going to be showing up so you can stockpile build up the amount of food that you need to free to serve a whole bunch of people and it's all Modular one of the important things about this guy's it's set up so it can be packed in the most efficient space and moved on down the road I mentioned those Jeep trailers. I have two that are here and others that are in other locations. The others that are in other sites are already packed up with this basic equipment set up for field use to support a large group of people coming together. And with a quick instruction by a straw boss, everything's put into service. So again, one more time on that. It's really easy. And you can read the information. It's a good write-up on this. Go to mainmilitary.com. MAINE, main military dot com. Then go to over on the left side you'll see a bunch of subjects go to food and utensils. Food and utensils. You'll see more information on the Wise Company brand of freeze dried stocks and other food items. number of different options with regard to the main courses most of them are whatever but basically the fair is pretty consistent across the industry. Chili Mac again, also you're looking at teriyaki and rice. The Asian menu started to crop up and it's funny back when we were in Vietnam, you didn't see any Asian menus in the ration options. Now that we went over towards the other parts of the planet, all of a sudden the Mexican menus are in there, the Spanish menus are in there, the Asian menus are in there, so there's a wider range. We've got something like 20-some different menus, I guess, overall. If that is enough to keep you happy in the field, I don't know what is. Come on, guys. I don't want to hear you more complaining. It used to be like the Russian army had two flavors, purple cabbage and green cabbage. Congratulations with a chunk of what was kind of greasy, lardy meat. and they were very happy to get that very satisfied to at least be eating something. Today we're looking at well what kind of restaurant you want to go to. It's that simple. Plus remember usually in the field the cook guys are pretty good cooks when the time comes. I know we might have a bottom of the hour or a little past bottom of the hour break. And just for everybody that's listening remember Maine military is one of our primary sponsors so guys if you can if you would support them. It's one of the things we'd like to do. We're going to break. We'll be back in a minute here. By default. I lost my job at the factory when the Senate oversees. I couldn't find another one. I was begging on my knees. They took my car. They took my house. My pretty wife left with my pride. I started to chikin' down the road. I felt dead inside, American dream was a nightmare I couldn't even fom a ride, then along came a horse-drawn cart just before I died. Man with a big black hat said, can I help you friend? He said he'd show me a better way, this didn't have to be the end. by default my country let me down. Yamash helped me out and took me in when no job could be found. He took me to his farm, said there were lots of jobs. People here were all my friends, none of them were snobs. Everyone was equal, all gave a helping hand. They made me feel again like a man I'm Amish by default, my government let me down Yamish helped me out and took me in When no job could be found He offered me the choice from the single women of his clan Somewhere oh so pretty I'd be the envy of many a man But I picked one of the homeway ones No other guy would choose She'd be true to me, or I'd never lose She was big and strong and filled up my pride And when my horse got blamed, she gave me a ride I'm Amish by default, my government let me down Yamish helped me out and took me in when no job could be found Now I have a place no bank can take and food from my own ground I'm Amish by default, they won't let me down I used to take crap from others, now I'm the one spreading it around I pick up my horse crap and spread it on my ground But bull crap is the best for crops that I've ever found But the bull crap from my government is what's let me down I'm Amish by default, my government let me down The Amish helped me out and took me in when no job could be found Now I've a place no bank can take and food from my own ground I'm Amish by default, since I left the town My American dream has finally been found How much by default by the way we just want to that's your candy for everybody out there just as a forewarning we've got a bunch of new musicians that are in the wings right now and Even as we speak they are generating new sound that you're going to be hearing more and more on LTR. In fact, this weekend we'll be picking up some more music from that same musician to include a couple of Colonial Marine pieces that are being written up and may be done by now. In fact, this guy turned around put this song together, what, I think in about an hour and a half actually, was able to get it produced, put it back out, get the basic, the prototype out and on disc. And right now I gave them a list of things to do and as a matter of fact chances are we have a whole new series of fighting songs for the Colonial Marine militia and for other militia units out there. In fact we're going to be kind of specific. We're going to give them the basic theme, what it is that we want to see, what type of structure we want to see for the particular music that's in question and we're going to be cranking out a lot more. The whole idea here is Again, like Hollyweird, we need our own version of Nashville too, guys. We need to support all of our great musicians that are out there. Don't forget pokerface.com, www.pokerface.com. We need to bring Paul up on the air here pretty soon again for that reason. But again, the idea is that we have a lot of people that are creative. They're coming up with different ideas, different sounds. Remember, people like everything from Patriot Rap to Patriot Rock to traditional folk music to colonial music. You name it. Well, we've got authors and artists that can do it. So it's not a matter if it is just a matter how quickly we can get it up here on the air for you and by tomorrow Well, actually it'd be by Sunday. We might have something it'll be able to throw a few more songs up there on the air and Including some pretty dynamic stuff. I think I got pretty good pretty high confidence in the artist I think he's pretty creative and if not, I'll grab the old Beaten sticks and we'll see what we can do about coming up with some other stuff on on you know on the side I'll pitch in a little bit But I think we can get the job done and it'll be satisfied. So hopefully you're not ending up Amish by default. We won't want you laying along the road and get picked up by the horse and buggy. But if it happens, well hey, that's better than starving and laying bleeding and bleeding and shall we say a bag of bones along the side of the road. We don't see that happen to you either. One other thing here real quick. Somebody in Texas, Ken, thank you very much. Appreciate the reminder. If I could I would get these but really I don't know the price has gone up a little bit on them but not much. However, this is pretty reasonable. A lot of our units here use gators and I will remind you again I rate Swedish, Norwegian and Swiss at the top of the scale when it comes to equipment. even the oldest Swiss gear is superior to pretty much everything that's out there and there's a lot of newer stuff that's been generated that's being made available on the market. The Swiss are going to other stuff or they're starting to work in other directions. They have Swiss gators at CenterfireSystems.com and this is what we use actually here in Michigan. The Swiss models. They're a heavy canvas material They are a buckler type that wrap around the just in front of the sole of the or forgive me in front of the heel of the shoe. They are very comfortable. They're very warm. Most important is that again because you're going to be dealing with snow and wet. This is a way to protect another way to protect the boots especially from the lacing areas up and creates an extended cover that goes all the way up just under the knee. very comfortable and again you're waiting in snow, you're working through wet grass. Gators are another way to deal with that problem. There are other of course types of gators that are also for snake and bug issues and that sounds funny but it's not because in a lot of places most people have not had to deal with the woods and with ticks. uh... different seasons in different environments putting reartics are real problem guess what gators deal with ninety nine percent that problem right off the bat because the bubbles can't get through to you okay but also wet if you're in the morning get up in the morning you're in an encampment or you're moving through the woods and you have to move through mixed rain guys what's it like first thing in the morning we get out there you got to do with moisture Now it's one thing if you get a little damp or wet and you walk out in the back for it and you come back up to the house and you shake off and you sit down and you have a cup of coffee and you dry off inside. But when you're in the field that isn't going to happen. If you're out in and out of patrol or you know a combat situation where you're going to be in the field for any period of time you don't get to say time out I'm going to dry off hey I'll be back in a bit. It's not going to work that way. So again, the item number for these, it's Swiss Grey Gators, a three-pack for $20, $19.99. I know where these came from. They all came from the same wholesaler that I deal with. And again, Swiss Grey Gators, three-pack, item number S-4200, GR Gator, G-A-I-T-O-R. That's S-4200GRGAITOR. 3 pack for $20. They're an excellent condition. I have used these. I have a set, actually more than a set, I have, be quite honest, about probably 20 of these sitting on standby. I would not get rid of the rest. When I got down to a certain point on these, I kept the rest for myself, for the family. That way I've got spares for the future when I need them. because we wear a lot of this gear and we wear it to death. I will tell you that these things will take a beating. By the way, these gators were also the model that the Huttari units and the HK militias here in Michigan use. The Huttari II units were all issued the same kind of gear, so they're still using the same gators. All of the HK 91 units use them, so in fact, I can pretty well pick out the group by the type of gear they're wearing in different seasons. I know who they are. It doesn't mean that other people can't independently purchase the stuff, but here are little signature pieces of gear that we've used that allow us to confirm whether somebody is with a particular formation or not. And those gators are very popular and very serviceable. So a solution, oh by the way, CenterFireSystems.com, CenterFireSystems.com, 1-800-950-1231. Again, 1-800-950-1231. Centerfiresystems.com. Other companies may carry other types of gators. There's some Norwegian ones, there's some Canadian ones out there. You'll typically find that the can head models are taller by about four inches. It depends on when they were made, what era. It's like the Mickey Mouse boots, the Canadian Mickey Mouse boots and Canadian five buckle rubber boots are actually seven buckle rubber boots because they're taller. So again because more snow there in cold weather, cold weather wet, cold weather dry, more snow. Deeper snow, very deeper environment, got to have higher protection. Okay, just that simple. But these are Swiss and they're through CenterFireSystems.com. Easy to find again, S-4200GRGAITOR. Now, another thing, and again I want to address this because of this thing going on within Atlanta. or should with Georgia everybody's been talking about here too and I want to make sure that there are no mistakes made. Number one, I will repeat the basics again. Do not, do not, do not cut down a shotgun barrel or any barrel for that matter. Do not, do not, do not. Whatever barrel lengths you can buy are more than sufficient for what you need to do to get the job done if you want a scatter gun. If you want to really make a scatter gun, if you think you need to have something blast from the end of the muzzle, learn to reload and reconfigure your shot shells. The reason that your shotgun isn't going to spray a whole lot is because of the wads that are in the shotgun, unless you change the wad out. And again, if you want it to open up right from the end of the barrel, if you're worried about spreading, then make up specific loads and test and experiment your shot pattern. It's that simple do not cut down if you need a barrel go buy a 20 inch barrel for your gun if it can take a replacement if not Leave it at where it is trust me what you're gonna like is the fact you can reach farther with that longer barrel I like an 870 with a 23 24 inch barrel which may on the tube I don't care what the what the configuration is modified him I see is preferred actually that's what I like but you can't always have what you want So whatever the choke is, that's going to be fine, preferably fixed, not with an insert. And guess what? I'll figure out by loading the charge what I want that gun to do. I want to keep it tighter. There's even tricks I can use to keep the wad solid until it gets to the target and becomes like a big old mean nasty glazer safety slug. Huh? Oh, we haven't talked about that. Let's say I want a big old kind of explodable slug at the other end. One of the things that you can do is take that standard wad and tape it so that it will not butterfly open. Because what the wad does is as it leaves the tube there's air resistance and the cup is designed to take so much resistance and progressively release which allows the shotgun pattern while it's traveling the shot to spread out. But what if I want to be really mean and I don't want it to spread out I want it to work like a big old nasty high-velocity beanbag. Oh, well there's a couple nasty things I can do in the other direction. There's also what's called a poacher's load where you actually take the shot shell and cut it. I prefer not doing that, but you can. And you have to perfect your technique with that. You have to experiment again like everything else. You have to spend a little money. Best way to do that is to experiment cheap. Use, if you're going to do what's called a poacher's cut. on the shell you need to experiment and also pay attention to what your weapon does but what you can do there is take number eight or number nine from like Cabela's where they got it cheap cheap cheap or like Walmart whatever if you still have a Walmart that sells ammo and when you go there buy the cheapest load and then experiment read the instructions and information on doing what's called a poachers shot shell, do it with something where you can actually take a target and experiment. What it basically does is takes the whole front of the case and makes it into a solid shot beam bag going down range. Now on the other hand if I want it to spread and I want to open up that shell, I'm going to remind you again don't cut the barrel, don't cut the barrel, don't cut the barrel. Instead, take the modern wad out and go with a flat cardboard or a flat card stock wad. Trust me, the moment it gets past the end of the barrel, it's going to open up and spray the whole hallway. While you'll shoot the lights out, get them in the foot, hit them in the rumpus, take their nose off, probably hit them in every body part they didn't want to see, and they'll be leaking in all directions. Trust me. Okay? However, that is only under very special conditions that I want something to spread that fast. Otherwise, again, accuracy along with volume fire in this case. The best example, which again, why would you do this? In Red Dawn, okay, you have that first contact. I know it's a movie, but let's use that as a classroom thing. Because you look at Hollywood conditioning. The kids finally decide to stand to ground a little more and they start in a little exchange in the woods Remember with the two they the guy had you know hits them there. They're using bird guns 12-gauge bird guns and Kaboom kaboom kaboom You know and of course the guys crawling back up towards the truck You know he's gone hand is messed up and if you pay attention and look at that you'll see that the shotgun patterns are righty-tighty is there right there and Everything hit the target. Well isn't that what you want? They were actually aiming and when they aimed they hit the target and all that lead Just went right into you know that poor little Russian who's leaking now, and he's leaking right straight through his wool great coat And you can see the pattern. Now, after they've done such a good job of putting all the lead into the target, which means they were putting all the energy onto the target, and of course the the poor bugger is, you know, getting to the vehicle and finally as he's, you know, Dobriellos, Dobriellos, well then the lead character comes up with a pistol and explains to him the wonderful world of, you know, kayaking. It's when that 45 turns the guy's head into a basically a canoe. Okay. So what's fascinating is the next thing you see is around the campfire and You see him, you know, he's cutting the one kids cutting off the barrel of the shotgun now. I'm gonna ask you something why His weapon did exactly what it was supposed to do cutting down the barrel isn't gonna give him better for more firepower Cutting down the barrel isn't gonna give him a better pattern effect just in reverse. He was gonna screw him up So far apparently if he was aiming and apparently I guess maybe he doesn't want to aim he's just hoping to throw it through the trees Otherwise he was doing exactly what it was supposed to do that gun later on when he got a better weapon or another weapon that he chose Maybe that he thought would be better. Maybe he might want to make it a smaller weapon. That's when he'd be cutting it down When he needs something as a tuck away gun, but I wouldn't cut it down even then why cuz there's other troops Because I might need to put that away in storage because I've got another weapon to use but I don't want to lose the weapons I've gained Okay, so first of all, we're not cutting any shotgun barrels down number one and number two select fire How many of you have had time on a machine gun? How many of you have thousands of dollars to throw away practicing with that weapon? Because when you're using volume fire and a fully automatic weapon You know what the cyclic rate starts at about 600 rounds for some and he's usually up around Oh 900 to 1200 rounds per minute Now, you have, or are typically carrying, a 30 round magazine. You do the math and how long a 30 round magazine lasts under those conditions. Now, I will ask you this. How many 30 round mags can you carry? Well, when a mark tells you to carry 24 mags, everybody thought, I know people say, oh that's crazy! Really? How many magazines are you going to go through full auto if you're going to go blazing like Rambo? How long are those magazines gonna last? If you have a cyclic rate of just say 750 rounds per minute. How many seconds or how many perhaps if you're lucky and you carry the magazines Mark tells you to. How many minutes of sustained fire would you have? Now do you have a little Chinese coolie or a little pickup truck standing behind you that I didn't know about and every one for every one of the men you have in your unit? It's bad enough that I see this stuff called bump fire. Throw that out the window please. Accuracy is what everybody is reeeeally afraid of. Why? Because when you hit it and you kill it, it doesn't come back. So we don't need select fire. Why? Well, if you take that beautiful Sega AK that you have or that Dragunov or that M1A or that HK-91 like these guys that all have these HKs, they've got a battlefield superiority weapon right off the bat if it's a .308 or .30-06 or .300 WinMag or 8mm Mauser. You can penetrate more and you can reach farther with the same energy far beyond the potential of any of the weapons pretty much your enemy is carrying. Number one. You hit them accurately at maximum range and even when they adopt their spray and pray policy they start going to select fire. They're beating the brush but you're still going to focus on single point engagement. Several of you concentrate on the target. Guess what? It's not going to be around very long. Now if you want to select fire weapon The weapon that your enemy is carrying, it can be anything that's out there that's in a military inventory today, is the weapon you use on select fire. Why? Because their supply system is progressively going to become your supply system. This is one of the reasons that I recommend Airsoft. Everybody goes, oh, I'm talking about Airsoft. Those are toys again. No, they're not. In fact, they're the most efficient training aid you can run into. If you are expecting to run into British bullpup rifles, wouldn't it be nice to know how they feel and their basic configuration and how they physically operate? Well, rather than getting in trouble trying to buy one on the black market or some BS like that, which is nothing but trouble, instead you can go out and get an airsoft weapon and give everybody basic familiarization with the system. Hell, you can buy a FAMAS, you can buy a BAR, you can buy whatever you want. FN mag 58s, FN weapons of all types, all of the SCAR rifles, blah blah blah blah blah. It's the only way you're really ever going to see that weapon, because until such time you should take it off the corpse of an enemy. So beyond that, with regard to any training, you should be focused on first, rifle marksmanship. and you're going to have to keep retraining. You have to pull people off the line eventually down the road. You're going to have to have them reset their rifles. You have to see, refocus them and you're going to have to create a familiarization course down the road even when you do go into combat or after you've been in a combat situation. It'll take time but you're going to have to also remind people that they're going to have to refocus on occasion. Now I don't care if they use optics or not. That's a personal choice. For the majority of the work, iron sight or working over the iron sight, if you are going to go with burst fire, use a quickie trigger finger. You'll find it works just as well and there's nothing the bad guys can do about it. No select fire. Now explosives are the same way and I'm going to repeat this again. You can be knowledgeable and you can let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages or through the keyboards of Google video and you can watch all kinds of fun stuff without ever having to tap a trigger yourself. or pull a switch or you know again activate a system but you can learn a lot about how things really work not the Hollywood BS version about what's out there but as far as anything that goes boom you pull a pin on guess what whatever you need your enemy is carrying why? typically because it's industry produced and factory produced and very reliable. You also don't burn the stuff like popcorn. You acquire the technology and apply it selectively from your enemy's inventory and arsenal as you fight. Why? Because again, you know the potentials. You can find all the information about each of those systems in advance no matter what they're carrying and have it in your, shall we say, the brain basket ready to use. Otherwise, the bad guys are looking at this and in fact almost always, 99% of the time as we've seen and we've reported and repeated to everybody time and again, somebody thinks you need to go out and buy all this stuff. Number one, I'll tell you what you need to buy more of. One or two pound ball peen hammers. Go get yourself some ball peen. The bad guys aren't going to like me talking about that. In fact, my favorite is still the East Wing Drywall mallet. the drywall hammer. In fact, it was preferably one with the longer handle. Why? Well, it's real simple. Whatever the bad guys have, I want from them and I don't want to make a whole lot of noise to get it. And I'm not going to play fair. They think that somehow we want to toe-to-toe them all the time. No, I will eventually, but to get from them what I need, you cave their skull in and you take what they've got. Now if you have to, like we've talked about the other day, you don't need silencers. Why? When you, if you become skilled, you know, here it was funny, it's almost like people want this silver bullet, pardon me, because we're talking firearms here. You don't need silencers, you need to know how to engineer your loads. In fact, you'd be surprised that in many cases if you learn to engineer your load, heavier bullet, slower velocity. By the way, if you're using silencers, typically you're going to drop the velocity of the weapon anyway. So if I can spit 500 or 400 grains of lead downrange with no flash and no report, and I get the same performance velocity as they do with their cans and with their smaller pellets, Because typically that's what they have to do is still go with a small pellet and they're going shorter velocity Below subsonic below they have to go subsonic. They can't go supersonic to ineffectively use the silencer You still get all the crack crack crack and everybody knows where you are guys when it's passing somebody if you miss That hypersonic crack is really recognizable to a combat infantryman. Okay? Anyway, we're at the top. You don't need the stuff focus on the basics Focus on teamwork and you win. We're at the top. Ed's taking over for all you guys. Come on into the room because we're gonna be busy here for the next hour. BK and myself will be here for the 8 o'clock program.
