Captain Johnson is the straw boss slash the team leader in charge of the operation. We have a series of different coordinators for each of the projects. Each project has to do with a very specific and narrow window of activity. They're going to get it done, plug it in, get on down the road to the next project, or they'll be working simultaneously. And the idea is to show how we can coordinate and get these projects done and out of the way. There will be some cement, casting cement that actually started today. Some of the forms are already set to go so the base foundations are already poured. Graveling, you've got foundations or base frames for Bivouac sites and also for the Urban Training Center. A bunch of other stuff going on in the ranges, so I guess we're going to do some upgrades there. As long as we've got time and everything's there in place, everybody's painting and everybody is slapping boards together or laying bricks. And you guys, you might wonder about that. Well, let's build another bridge. But it's one of the few privately owned border points in all of America. I think there's only two others. There might only be one other, Mark. So it's less than four privately owned border entrances into America and exits. And now a company built the bridge, a family bought it, and has been operating it for years. Now, they're saying that eventually the bridge is going to need to be replaced, Mark, but you know what? The company, the family that owns the bridge now says we'll build another bridge. The state of Michigan wants to build a bridge and basically, there's a couple of different angles here. They want to put a private corporation, private business, family owned business out of business. They want to gain control of a border point, an entry point, and, did I mention they're going to put a family out of business, gain control of an entry point, and get that monopoly. Now, while two bridges are open, I'm told that there's less than 50% of the traffic, because over the years we've talked about the Ambassador Bridge being filled from one end to the other with truddling both ways. I'm not certain which way they're empty. Oh no, they're not empty when they're coming back in. They're full of trash and things. Remember a few years ago, Mark, when there was a wolverine in the middle of Michigan and it was mentioned that, oh, it probably came here from Canada in one of those trash trucks. Well, the point of the little sidebar here is, you know, that Wolverine, it might be pretty smart for a critter. Apparently they didn't inspect that trash truck. Who wants to stick their nose in a trash truck? But you know what, if it was a trash truck full of Chinaman or other, well, maybe Chinaman's a little bit too specific in this particular time frame, but if it was a trash truck full of terrorists who knew to be quiet when they were coming across the border, that probably would have worked for them. But all of a sudden we've got the Wolverine here in Michigan and, well, he's just came across in a trash truck. So things are leaving the country and garbage is coming back and they want to build another bridge. So twice as much garbage can come in. I'm not certain, but so twice as much stuff can leave. The other thing is, when we talk about the bridge, we've tied that to, no pun intended, the Mex-Am-Can highway. You know, the Canada, the the highway that goes from Mexico by Sex America and on up into Canada. One of the branches, Mark, comes east, immediately south of Chicago. That must be like I-94. Pretty soon it won't be Interstate. The I stands for it will be International. I, International 94. And it runs branches out of Chicago, runs right over to the Detroit area. And you know I-94 runs right by the bridge, doesn't it? Not to mention If there's another bridge, it'd run right by both bridges. You might wonder why I'm going on about this, you guys. The bridge has basically been put down a number of times, and it's only been since we've got the new governor that it's really been pushed hard. Now we're seeing these commercials on television, Mark, that say the governor and certain bits of people in the state senate are saying that, well, if you don't vote for the bridge, we're not going to fix your roads. And they're also working in other angles. Now that was the one we heard weeks ago. The new one is, if you vote for the bridge, we'll give you all kinds of new community benefits. Like, we'll fix your roads. So they're double talking the, you know, the, the stichuents. They're double talking the representatives. They really want a bridge there. And I'm wondering if they would call, I don't know, what's this guy's name, the current governor of Michigan? opponents that say he even wants it named after him Mark. But we really, Michigan you guys, we've talked about this, the Alcan Highway is probably better in 90% of it even in right now in the fall when it's not real and you know the Alcan Highway is a berm road in plenty of places much like many country gravel and muck roads scraped every now and then and they put the oil on it and the wax and then the oil and trying to build some kind of you know I repeat there are portions, probably 90% of the Alcan Highway is better than 90% of the roads in Michigan. Oh, Mississippi, I think, is the only other state and they're gaining ground. They probably even have better roads than Michigan now, but the governor is saying, you vote for my bridge and then I'll fix your roads. Isn't that blackmail, Mark? That's exactly what we warned everybody about. Where they're headed is exactly what we argued would take place step by step, but they won't fix the roads. See, that's the comical part, Don. They're going to make the comment that, you know, well, you know, just let us, you have our international be us and maybe we'll fix your roads out in front of your house finally. Or maybe the streets in your county. When in reality, let's cover the other half of the program going on here. Remember that wilding program? Because let me put it this way. I can show you, I have a great experience with this that I can testify to. For years the abandoned areas of Grayling and Fort Custer were both paved because they were taken over from local road, the local road network was taken over from the general population during World War II. It was also done in World War I, but really obvious in World War II. It's expanded dramatically. When they did this all of the old paved roads from the 30s Were sitting there and were never fixed I mean other than you were just left on as is and as long as that old tarmac base And this was tar these were these were tarmac roads, okay? As long as they were intact, and as long as they were simply scraped and filled here and there where needed, do you know those things were there until the late 80s? Then some dunderhead got the bright idea, well, we'll scrape these up in spots. In fact, there were several major grades that up until that point were fully passable. The moment they pulled the pavement off that had been there for, oh, what, since 1931, 1930, about the beginning of the Depression, Lo and behold, the next season when the winter rains came into the spring rains, we had ruts deep enough that I could walk in and use them for cover across half or three quarters of the road where the wash outs were that extreme. That's visions of things to come. That's why what they don't want to show you those pictures remember why we went to paving Remember those pictures they used to show down of the old road cruisers Bouncing through the massive, Michigan mud puddles. Oh, yeah, just you know trying to get from the doctor's office to home. But they're non-corporates. They're actually these love bunnies that are coming in. They're going to, we saw this at the local end. Let's go right down to the local end with the high schools. So that means one out of five to one out of six were already on that dope Now they're saying well at least 10% around I'd say it's a lot higher than 10% I'll guarantee it's a lot higher than 10% And all because somebody want to take some stinking, you know fishing boat trips down into the Cayman Islands or down to Cancun Because that's mostly why these pieces of tripe that are doctors are pushing the drugs because they get points for vacations and barbecues and all kinds of fun stuff they put in their backyard. So there's the other half of the problem. How would we deal with that? Because number one, one of the things that really needs to be asked, if this person's on Prozac, should we really allow them to vote? Yeah. If the person is that far around the corner that they need to be on drugs all the time, should they be allowed to interact in such important decisions? I guarantee that they would be screaming even as I say that, I have every right to vote, I have every right to vote! Strange. You're telling me that there's something mechanically wrong with them and even when they're on the drug, they're not fixed. So I'm a little confused or is it that the drug allows them to be a little more shall we say like the clay that Mr. Rockefeller talked about So they can be manipulated accordingly. I agree.
