I'm a little different, they tell their, you know, the problem is when you change up equipment season, they end up with instead electrical tape, now you got tactical duct tape. Something too size for the same boat right now. You surplus, you know, once you get it, Once the belt is properly situated, the other thing you've got to watch is you're probably going to buy either with a Granada type salt vest. It hooks up to a pistol belt, but either way, you want to check the gear to make sure you're playing on either the Granada vest or yours. When you extend it out, you're going to take up some of the material that you've saved. What you do is you roll everything back up flat, and then tape that to the Y strap or tape that up so you might upgrade. You may go, wow, this black guy has the goodies on it. Now Bob here can take a little bigger than I geometry with your you have the right idea either side that's usually the average. Don't put it out. Don't put all of your excess on one side. Adjust both. Now some pistol belts only allow adjustment on one side or the other. If you can distribute that a bet between both sides once you get the stuff where you want it a little thing is duct tape. So duct tape in bands or with a foot to the belt. I mean a galling point. That would be on top of everything else. I prefer the H harnesses and the only reason we used more Y suspenders. Now there's an interesting thing, keep an eye out. The transition period in the 1970 through 1974, we were testing the equipment in different configurations. Lucky, especially the LC gear, like the new LC gear, the LC56, is done in, and I shouldn't probably only last around the 73. Really cool. Better built than the LNUP on the stuff, because the problem with that is the LNUP is means you've got to figure out where you're going to get the Type 56 canvas. So try to track them down. But here's another hint. If you go to a surplus store, have more than one sitting there, you better buy more than one, because those are surplus. The gas mask and filter that for a long time, I've got several of those. And I can't understand the nomenclature of each size on the mask. It has one or two. That is the European metric sizing system medium, actually more of a medium. Of course, there's a bridge for the gas mask. or average size. Whose and threes are basically in the big head, but we'll find you a gas mask because they match. I'm also looking for gas mask bags for that, that are, that's a waterproof might be a way to go. Now which model do you have? Do you have the Finnish 65s or do you have an M10? The M10 has a cheekpick. Right, so this would be always screw and filter, that's the Finnish. So here's the gas mask bag that you want and they should have it at main military bag. It's a standard US bag and that'll allow you to underarm care and that will also allow you to hip carry just the same. That's a screw and fill, that's the finished model. That's the copy of the M9. The surplus store, take a look on the bag, if it's an American bag, you'll have the nomenclature. What you want to get is the M9 bag or the M9A1 bag because into that gas mask. The finished mask is a copy of the M9 gas mask. a high swampy area and rains a lot. I was wondering should I try to get a waterproof, I should put a waterproof bag inside there because the filter is not really. Today we have Ziploc, yeah here's the thing, today we have Ziploc bags. Back in the day they used to make a water bag that was made out of vinyl. Ziploc bags that have the little strip of the body to open it up. You'll get the biggest one that fits inside the gas mask bag and covers the mask. The last question is since it is winter time and stuff like that I want to start storing pre-made food in the vehicles, autos and everything like that because in the summertime it just makes the food. For the next so many months I can have pre-made stuff so you could cover that maybe on Friday or another day on what Nancy makes as far as pre-made and mixed and all you do is either add water or you just suck on it with the moisture in your mouth or something like that. One of the things they have here that I've never seen before, I don't know where I got them, I keep saying that because I pretty well keep track of where surplus is coming from. M84 canteens, 5 sets, very canteen, so I haven't had a chance even to see these yet. They just came up on maybe, you know, looking at the gas mask, good point there about, you know, nomenclature. That if you're using the butt pack, the Alice pack, I normally use the Alice pack. The pack is one of the most Vietnam War. If I find one piece of equipment, there's molly stuff that I use on other pieces of equipment because it serves to mount table of authorized dead guys, you engineer so that they ergonomically fit, pick and choose and cull what you want. You can engineer it to your needs and if you don't like it, you can go buy something else.
