Live 365. From the grave is the still the land of the free and home of the brave. Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. This is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I'm Mark Hernke. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines and occupied territories. Central West southeast and north. Well, ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com, pbn.4mg.com, and we are on live 365. Then go to Liberty Tree Radio. We're also on AM and FM microstations, CB base stations, and ultra net technologies both east and west of the Mississippi. along with Southern and Central Alaska. We're on the Hallmark Network on the Eastern Seaboard from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida, across the ark, to the Gulf of Mexico, headed towards... Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, a big chunk of Nebraska, the third of Wyoming, also the pit crews over there, and we ain't talking racing either. The pit crews over there in Wyoming, and once they have the big truck drivers, then back over across Iowa slash Iowa with all of our micro stations, 95.5, 95.7, oh, 99.5 and 100.5 and 100.7 FM. back over the Mississippi to the Golden Spike Project way over there on the other side guys really cool in that again we're looking at a whole bunch of people putting a replacement for the internet up and online and part of the overall grid that's happening in several different directions the restaurant crew the Grandma teams the okay teams along with the Grandma crews that's right the Ma Bell Grandma's way up there in Cleveland Ohio headed towards Parlour the home of the Ghoul and Froggy. Well, it is a beautiful gray. It's raining up north a little bit, but what I'm saying, we're on the edge of that right now. We've had some wind pushing fronts first clear, then gray, then clear, then gray, then clear, then gray. The clear just went over us for the first hour. The gray is on us now with the second. What a surprise. It is, that's right, it is the 20th of October, second year of Fabian Socialist and Soviet Socialist Occupation of America with a K 2010 Old Earth Calendar. That means it is also Wednesday. That's right. Oh my goodness. Spot-foot shotgun with the 9 minute of you to copy. Face, plasma, iPhone. Wait a minute. I can't hold. Just what you see on the shelf, buddy. Just what you see on the shelf. And you know how that works. Only what you see on the shelf. Well, that doesn't mean we can't build it. We'll work on that later. You'll have your face, plasma rifles, when the time comes. But anyway, it is Weapons Wednesday. We're going to be covering a number of different subjects there in the process, so keep your pen and paper handy. What I remind you to, I mentioned and I need to reinforce this guy's main military. Don't talk about him enough. Of course, we do have him up as a host. I should say the sponsor. And I need to bring the guys up on the air so they can talk about what's happening over there with the store. because Maine Military is an actual surplus store that's like the old days. Most of the companies like that, they're gone and out of business. And Maine Military has a lot of the stuff that most everybody's been looking for to put their troops in the field. And remember, we're in a temperate environment in North America. We're not over in the desert. So a lot of the camouflage patterns that we need are not the stuff that's used over on the other side of the water. And will that work effectively for us? For this reason, the woodland, a lot of the other green patterns such as the bubble fleck tar are actually preferred for our environment. We're not in the desert. Just because it's the official uniform, it's for a unique combat environment. Most of the stuff they're generating there is not going to work for the rest of the country. Now, it doesn't mean it won't work seasonally. In other words, there are periods of brown. And I've even used five-color chocolate chip desert and three-color desert. for fall combat operations and for fall reconnaissance operations, especially serious reconnaissance activities. Why? Well, people weren't looking for that color range, guys. They're looking for, you know, they're conditioned to certain colors under certain eras of development with regard to camouflage. So, using the five-color chocolate chip, which was not standard anywhere in the military except for the Sinai Peninsula with the airborne under UN control, oh that's right, that's where the five-color desert chocolate chip came from, most Americans don't know that. That came from our US forces being under UN control and stuck in the Sinai between the Egyptians and the Israelis. Anyway. The stuff that's available, there's MOLLE gear of all types. There is MOLLE gear in the woodland. A lot of you are preferring that right now, or at least are experimenting with it. Some people, once they've used it, aren't necessarily that excited about the MOLLE gear. The one thing I will warn is it's a little floppy. Yeah, you can tighten everything up and you can cinch everything in place, but as we know with plastics, when they wear, they get shiny. When they get shiny, they get slick. If they get slick, then they loosen up. So we've known this since back in Vietnam, here are guys with a lot of the LLC stuff when it came out. It's true also, no matter what plastics they're using now, you're going to have to have the electrical tape handy because once you get it where you want it, you're going to want to tape it into place. You don't want to cut off your extra strapping. You never know what you're going to wear under your gear. But you are going to want to have electrical tape in place so that you can, you know, again, tape it where you need it for the moment. But if you have to change because maybe you got better body armor, you've got more cold weather gear to wear underneath everything, you're going to want to have to expand and contract the systems seasonally so you have more space. You've got a layer of gear underneath, like two more layers of thermal insulation, and you've got a couple of other, like a coat and a woolly pulley that you're wearing. Well, what's going to happen there is you're going to find out that you've added about an inch and a half to three inches of additional girth that's going to have to be adjusted for on your web gear. Otherwise, you're going to become uncomfortable. Gear is going to rub, and it's going to do what's called gall. It's actually going to create blister points where you don't want them. And these blister points can be gotten rid of fast because usually soft tissue, tender spots that you really, really, really shouldn't have been messing with in the first place. So common sense. It doesn't mean it can't happen with a lot of use anyway. But this is a consideration with all of the gear, MOLLE gear, LC90, the old Type 56. I don't care what it is. World War II vintage rigs. You need to know and then properly adjust your equipment. Learn, you know, its pluses and minuses. Another thing cool about Maine military is they've got some excellent selections and used molly pouches for you guys that want to build stuff. And I've had a lot of questions about that, Mark, why don't you know, you don't talk about the molly stuff that much. Well, there's a reason. I mean, there's a wide range of things to cover. And the molly gear is pretty self-explanatory, except again, what I've been discussing here, the colorations. You're not in the desert. It may look spiffy. I got all three color, I got all digital desert. Okay, well, now the digital desert, like I said, we're getting out of the green and into the brown out season. When that happens, yeah, the digital desert will probably work okay in most environments. Remember, you can also dress it up with some other color or at the very least with other, you know, commercial clothing items to break up the pattern and create a more of a wave effect which will make you disappear. But you know Savannah Tan in the middle of summer kind of is like black. It stands out. So just because it looks cool doesn't necessarily mean that it works in the field to keep you alive. It's a great office uniform. You look really squared away but when you get out to where you need to be out of sight out of mind, in other words covering concealment need to work, then you'll find that the colors are wrong. That's just something to think about beforehand. It doesn't mean they don't have application under certain areas and certain conditions. Example is, as we know from our friends down there on the border with the Arizona militia, the ACU camouflage actually works quite well, or it works better than most, down there on the border where they're in the Arizona district. Now that's because of the ground makeup with both the foliage and the surface soil. and how it's made of, what its composition is in terms of structure. And it's a useful uniform, useful kit. There is a pile of ACU coming out of the market as far as surplus goes. So much so that it's one of those, there's a glut. It's the only way to describe it. So if you're going to be using ACU for a particular area because it works in your area, I'd buy a bunch of it now because while it's plentiful and it's cheap and there's lots of surplus, get it. It's not going to last forever. This is surplus. That's the most common mistake made, guys. This is not brand new stuff out of the package. You're going to come back thinking you're going to buy more and you'll have to buy new. You might not like that when you're done. You hit Madrid. So anyway, something to think about there. That has to do with gear. Now another thing that we can give shining examples of Mitchell drums, I've mentioned these before and one of the things when you come up on the main military page you're going to see that they've got the Mitchell plastic snail drum which are the again clear back black plastic hull and these are 90 round drums for the AR-15. Now these are also great props for Hollyweird and you've seen these used like in the Batman series where they put LEDs inside and had the things glowing. Okay. That's not critical. Hopefully you're not going to be doing that. We don't need razor lighting in your magazines, okay? These are a unique solution for some of the other problems that we're going to be running into if you need volume fire. They're a little more sensitive to being beat up than the steel drums are, so keep that in mind. But for, you know, for instance, vehicle mounting, because of the way they snail up into the side of the gun, That makes them very convenient for coaxial guns where you want to put a 90 round drum into an air 15 and rack mount it and then fire the thing next to a main armament of some kind. You've got some firepower. It keeps it a little more compact and next to the weapon rather than extending the height of the weapon because remember it goes down and stays down and becomes a big bubble underneath. on the AR that's, you know, kind of putting a lot of height there, especially if you have a standard carrying handle roof, you know, AR receiver. And a lot of people do. So, just something to think about. It is a solution to the problem again. And it's something that we've been working on to try and find places where they've got the stuff on hand. They've got two of the 90 round, it's the MWG 90 round, AR15M16 mags. for $150. So that's not bad. That means those drums will come down a little bit. If you've already got those and you're committed to the Mitchell type, then these are available and therefore the Air 15M16 weapon. Now, oh my goodness, there's a list here. Of course you can't settle into California, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, District of Columbia, or District of Communism, and Hawaii. Oh wow, Hawaii's in the same boat now? Well, screw them. They're on an island. I'm sorry, there's some listeners. You are screwed if you're there. It's just all there is to it. It's already quite as high as 5.0 as you were going to get. That's probably a good representation of how things were there. Next, and this has to do with especially the parts, pieces, and assemblies, especially accessories. A lot of you guys have been looking for and in fact been posting some of the stuff that you've been needing or that has been on the need list. Fighting knives, you know, there are a bunch of different cutlery companies out there. They've got some beautiful pieces of equipment. You pick and choose what you want. But I will remind you that if somebody built a bayonet, they typically have made them very consistent. If you're going to train everybody and you're training yourself with a certain weapon system, it's kind of nice to know that you could have a whole drawer full of the same knife and you know that it's military spec, it's very serviceable and very affordable. Well, it used to be you could find K98 Mauser Bannettes for as little as $8 and $10 apiece. Those days are pretty well gone. The Chilean Mauser Bannettes were about $8 apiece. Those days are gone. But, and this is interesting, the Cetney Bannettes are out there in force. And I noticed the guys posted them here in the chat room the other day. And when they did, what was interesting about that is the Cetney Bannettes were about $14, $13, $15, to $14 apiece. Now, I'm going to say something. We talk about all the different, from the political end, understand who you're dealing with here and who's waiting in the wings to swoop down in America. Spain has been a great power. And Spain has a lot of money sitting in the background, which is why Spain got into taking control of our highways and was planning on taking over Texas and its expressways and state highways. And they were going to rape them for every penny they could after all you taxpayers paid for them. is a military power that is kind of unique. They take their edged weapons very, very seriously. If you run into Spanish troops, you have to figure if you're going to search them, if you decide to take prisoners, especially the upcoming war, if you don't, I understand you'll just be searching bodies after the fact. But remember, don't be surprised. You're going to find a lot of edged weapons on the Spanish, on the Italians, etc. They love edged weapons. But the other thing is they also know quality steel. And the Setme Banettes are a very, very well made blade. Very good carbon steel, excellent carbon steel, so you're getting a really nice combat fighting knife slash utility knife for future work. for fourteen dollars you know thirteen fourteen dollars comes with a scammer comes with the frog of the bandit will fit right on the set me rifle guys who which means you got a combat blade that you know stick and twist uh... is very very useful uh... if you do not have a bandit for your set me rifles get one if you don't have one for your age cake get one if you have to get a bandit log members of changing the new one fixture then guess what invest in by it uh... it is worth the time it's worth the money in the effort and it is awfully handy especially with what's the one thing they always pull off with these latest uh... hollywood bs movies well you may have a gun but you don't have any ammo yeah what i have a gun that i may not have any of the radio event and because you reminded me that i'm sure that animal i'll probably use the bad at more like uh... rather than shoot because i need the ammunition for when you're farther away so you don't get close enough so that they don't have to use the band at See how that works, but if you do get close, time to use the bayonet. Use the bayonet and the club system to get rid of the problem. so if you do have a rifle and it is a mitt a martial arm of any kind if it's an m1 corranda nineteen oh three springfield in the model ninety seven winchester pump shotgun a trench gun has got the uh... trench uh... you know shroud in the bayonet log go get yourself a bayonet now by the way i just mentioned some rifles regal or market it is been a hundred dollars or two hundred other than it wrong there are not cost or there are other copies that run now they're becoming more collectible because even those are getting become antique uh... for instance the model ninety seven no winchester eighteen ninety seven winchester shotgun takes the uh... uh... m nineteen seventeen infield bayonet But one nice thing is the P14 bandhead or the P17 bandhead are pretty much the same. You shop around a little bit. If you've got a Winchester and you need a bandhead, go look for one of those used ones laying around that's from a third world country that typically came in as surplus. You'd be amazed, you're not looking for pristine, you're looking for a fighting edge, you're looking for fighting crude. That's all you need. I know that some of these bayonets, you're talking basketball scorers as far as what they cost. And we don't want that to happen, you don't want to be doing that. So they'll set me bayonets while they're cheap, even if all you were looking for was a decent fighting knife and a decent combat knife. These banettes are very well made. Same is true for the M16 and M14 banettes. The M14 banettes are becoming rarer in general because, hey, it's been a while, guys. Government destroyed a lot of them. Many other countries are still using them. You'll notice when you get surplus for overseas, like, say, Korean used M14 or M1 carving banettes, if they're used in their military, they are re-park-rized, but the blades have been worn and sharpened a lot. Oh yeah, okay, so they've been used. That's something to think about. They have been heavily used. The people truly believe in the spirit of the bayonet in most of those countries and they act accordingly. Plus they use fighting knives and they use a blade on a regular basis. You should be thinking the same way. When it comes to the bayonets, again, preferably you want the bayonet that fits the rifle. Or if you carry it as a fighting knife, it might as well be something that matches up to a weapon system that you have. But that's not always the case, and we understand that. In this case, the set-me bayonet could be carried as a supplemental fighting knife or a supplemental utility or combat knife, and you'll be doing just fine. Oh, by the way, you might get a set-me down the road, and then, hey, it matches up. Now you don't have to go search for one. centerfiresystems.com, centerfiresystems.com, centerfiresystems.com, did I say centerfiresystems.com? They've got the sent me banettes for sure, for a pretty reasonable price, which makes them something to consider. Another thing I want to shift to before I leave Maine military, and this is something I did not, I don't know, I still don't know where they got these. But Maine military has the Swiss, Canteen systems with M84 canteen with cup. Now a lot of you guys you're looking for systems for your 510 program or something to put into your utility packs, your backpacks. This is a good choice. You're looking at with a canteen cup for every canteen you buy. If you've got more that's great. You've got extras, you've got spares. If you're looking at building up somebody's kit, battle kit, This is a great way to add cookware slash other foodware items that are useful. You've got a canteen cup and a mess kit, guys. You can do anything when it comes to cooking in the field. Those are the two basic tools. You've got yourself, you can improvise a little hobo stove. There's a number of things you can do. Or you can buy existing stoves. And these are the tools that you need to get the job done. Canteen cup. and of course a mess kit. Well, if you go to their accessories page and then look at and you tag it that way, you'll find Swiss M84 Canteen cups with cup. They are $4 if you buy singles, but $12. Now this is a 12 pack Swiss M84 Canteen with cup, 12 pack for $24. That's $2 a set. That's a dollar for the canteen, a dollar for the canteen cup. You can't beat that. You can't beat that with a stick. Okay, it's as good as it's going to get and it don't get no better, okay? They do have a couple of variations on that. They got the five packs here for, again, Swiss M84 through the LTR Specials. If you're looking for a little stove to go along with that, the German folding stoles with fuel, five packs for $9. That's $2 for the air-tat stove that has a little fuel that folds up the square. The canteen cup sits right on that little stove. Look at that. Canteen cup, you got the canteen for the water, not for fuel. And all the other goodies attached. By the way, the canteen's got the fixture for the gas mask straw. So that's another plus for this particular design. Many other options in terms of the canteens, but this was something I said they were so cheap you can't beat them. They're mil-spec and that's a plus by itself. So hopefully you'll move in that direction. Now, let's see, what else? There was another thing I needed to do and I'm going to have to see if I can find it. Now, hold on a second. Oh, that was the other thing. Cold weather gear. And I've harped on this before, but I want to touch on this today again. And also another item that jumped out that's shown up in good quantity. First of all, Belgian engineer gas mass bags. Belgian engineer gas mass bags. Now, these things are cheap. The more you buy, the cheaper they are. But these make great utility spare mag pouches or utility bags for all kinds of work. $12 for $24. Yeah, you heard me. $12 for $24. $2 a piece. This is with a shoulder strap. Typically the Belgian bags also have the connectors so you can hook them up right to your belt. So one of the other things to consider is putting two of these side by side in the back of your gear much the way the British did and that'll take care of that. and anyway uh... the advantages price and cost your guys twelve for twenty four dollars you can't beat it misses main military eight seven seven six zero eight zero one seven nine uh... that means you got a whole lot of bags you can pack up the bags where you are you can use them on the web gear uh... do not cut off the shoulder straps there's no trick theory roll them up and you take them thought to the side of the bag is a couple of extra holding points there and just be creative. Remember the shoulder bag itself is also a great way to... Here's your shoulder bag with a whole bunch of AK mags in it. Here's your AK. Here's another shoulder bag. You can cross that one over the shoulder the other way and wow you got all your gear everything you need right there. Get out of my face. Come on down the road. There you go. Follow Joe there. He's your squad leader. He's your fire team leader. There again Belgian engineer at Castmass bags. Best price 12 for 24 dollars. You can't beat it. This is real surplus. It's not some aftermarket Chinese junk, okay? Now next thing that I mentioned this is probably the best cold weather item now if you're a big guy well like you know I don't know if you're gonna have to experiment and you know talk talk to them They've got medium DPM British chem suits 10 pack for $100 so $10 a set for DPM camouflage cold weather gear Everybody goes, what? Yeah, well they're mediums first of all, so to be quite honest, I wear an extra large typically in everything. I'm big in the shoulders. Good size guy as far as girth, on big bone. Okay, I think I've worked out a little bit. And I can take a medium from the chem suits, the British chem suits, and wear it as cold weather clothing. Now that should tell you something. And again with a little space. Remember, chem suits are designed to go over all your uniforms, all your gear, everything, and to be worn outside. Now I'm not saying that, wow, let's take all your chem suits, rip them open, use them for clothing. But a lot of you are looking for a cold-weather layered item that you can utilize that is comfortable and is camouflaged. Well, guys, The chem suits are very special material that are designed to work as a sandwich filtering system and they are designed to breathe. The interesting thing about this is they are of a different material that lasts typically longer than standard cotton, polyester blend clothing. I've got an Anorak and I have intentionally abused it. And as some of you know that are listening, you've seen me wearing the thing, it doesn't look that bad for wear considering it's been in the service for 15 years out of the plastic blister bag. Now all of these DPM camouflage and all of these OD Green Mark III chem suits are virtually brand new in the vacuum seal. When you pull them out, you've got to remember they're charcoal lined and that's in a sandwich like a foam filament stabilized environment. That's what the charcoal is held in. What we used to do is we'd throw them in the washer or throw them in the dryer and let the charcoal get beat out a little bit and then we'd wear them for doing vehicle maintenance years ago. But the British consider these part of their cold weather inventory. So that's something to think about. And we're getting into chilly weather now. The DPM camouflage is an excellent camouflage. In fact, it's an excellent camouflage for Michigan. It's got enough of the dough skin in it, medium browns, earth browns, OD green, a medium green, and it's in the paintbrush camouflage pattern. It's an excellent patterning for general utility use. So that's something to think about. Now, if you need an extra large or an extra, extra large, first thing you need to do is you need to start shaving off weight. And that's all there is to it, guys. We're going to have to start working at this hut because, number one, you're simply not going to be able to maintain that condition and it's going to be a detriment down the road. Physically, your health is a concern. We've got to make sure we keep you on as long as we can because we're trying to get rid of bad guys and keep good guys around. So, you want to start working towards or pick a gold of shaving off some weight and keeping it off. That's just all there is to it. The clothing that's out there, you're going to find that special cuts and special sizes are becoming harder and harder to get, especially where you just want to walk out and buy something. Even though they know they're selling to an American market, they are not forming their products to an American market. We saw this years ago with surplus when the import stuff was taking over, that's what's happening now. The other problem is, especially with even the military contractors, is most of the junk is being made overseas. It's not being made in the US, it's not being made by a US affiliate, it's being made somewhere else. You always keep that in mind whenever you're looking at, gee, what do I need and how can I get it? On this note with the DPM camouflage, there are other items that are in that particular pattern that are useful. You might want to shop around and see what you can find there. Another thing is for our new listeners, gas masks, gas masks, gas masks. Now the selection is not what it was, but there are things out there that are still readily available. The M10M gas mask, Maine military's got an excellent price for those, $3, $4, $30. They have the finished gas mask, copy of the M9, 3 for $30. There are spare filters available. There are adapters for the M9 copy, which has the 60mm NATO filter, which will allow you to drain or to take it down to the 40mm NATO filter, which are the newer filters. And then there are a number of sources for filters in the 40mm range. Mostly the Swiss stuff is all that's available. Note that there's not any other great wave of that kind of surplus coming in. We warned you about this a year ago. It is becoming very apparent that filters are not being brought in and are not going to be brought in. So filters are going to be a limited item. When everybody starts looking for the same thing and everything dries up, it's going to get really bad really fast. So we're warning everybody in advance. be prepared for this problem. It's going to develop. It's not an if, it is just a when. Okay? As far as availability goes. We want to make sure you don't get caught with your rear end hanging in the breeze on this. So gas mask, gas mask, and more gas masks. Otherwise, time and place. Well, I'll tell you what, it's the bottom of the hour here, maybe. We might be able to take a break here for a few minutes. and so you guys can grab a cup of coffee if you want to. I understand too, it's Weapons Wednesday and I just want to get back on track with a couple of these items especially. Gas masks don't kill anybody but they do keep people alive. There's the music, we'll be back in about three minutes. You're going to take a break, bottom of the hour, Weapons Wednesday, second hour, the intel report on Liberty Tree Radio. We'll be back. Look. Okay, just get any blunt objects together, alright? If you get cornered, bash them in the head. That seems to work out. Keep together, stay sharp, and follow me. Well, Tommy, wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh- radio you can find out what's really going on it's going to save your life get some get some of the day! make sure that you have the ammunition for each of the weapons that you own and a whole lot of it so there's a number of different options out there amoman dot com amoman dot com amoman dot com if you do call and let them know you heard about uh... amoman dot com on well that's right liberty tree radio or mention of your call somebody mentioned him by the way i heard about it on on the blank That does help, especially with our sponsors, just to give them feedback. They want to know that they're actually making contact with somebody. You guys are doing your part. I know a lot of people have been dealing with Maine military for quite some time, and we appreciate that. There's a lot of other work that needs to be done in that area to outfit and equip more people. Interestingly enough, I want to say thanks to the emails, guys. Let's see, what was the one piece here? Well, actually, apparently, Time magazine is writing an article about, or has written a couple of articles about, the possibility of Civil War in the United States. I wouldn't call it very civil, so Civil War isn't really going to be. That's not a really good choice, but yeah, whatever. What it comes down to is what we've been telling you all along, all of a sudden everybody else has discovered. Now the one basic thing is this. And again, remember we had this time magazine just did this anti-malicious piece, which was really in a fog. And you'll notice it was pretty isolated. No major wave. A few bits and pieces, some knee-jerk stuff from at best second-rate journalists here and there. Some yap by the usual talking heads, which most people are ignoring now because they know that they're not speaking, it's whatever is being crammed into their head from the microphone. And the people that are actually responding right now are asking how can I get hold of the militia, how can I organize with the militia, what do we need, or how can we get, and I get questions like that all the time. If I go into town and I'm buzzing around, somebody usually walks and says, hey, by the way, I need fill in the blank, do you know where I can get this? And of course I point them in the right direction whenever possible. Why? Well, more people that are better armed and equipped, especially if they're like mine. If they're thinking about it now, they're in your ballpark, okay? If there are little variations on what we disagree about, we'll all settle that later on once we get the Congress back online, because that's what the Congress is for, is to deal with the 5% variance in disagreement, not the general problems, because they're usually ironed out by the people themselves with minimal government. Interestingly enough, the whole idea here, the Time Magazine and a couple of the others, the other rags are mimicking this too. I think Washington Post, I saw a piece that was sent to me as an email. I think everybody missed it. Washington Post, in the last three or four days, has had a bunch of little editorial quips here and there by people. You know, they'll allow letters to be written. If you see a letter in a newspaper, it fits their agenda. Okay, it suits their purpose, but they can blame the person who wrote the editorial letter for whatever said. Interestingly enough, a bunch of stuff about the possibility people are just fed up, which is true. They know that the bank foreclosure nonsense is so topsy-turvy, is so out of sync in the SKU, that nothing the Fed is going to do, you know, is going to fix it. Nothing they're going to do is going to fix the attitude of the people to not trust banks. Everybody has now learned their lesson as your grandma and grandpa told you time and again, don't trust the banks, don't trust the banks. Yeah, yeah, right, grandpa, you're crazy, don't trust the banks, ha, ha, ha. I'll put all my money into their system and let a third person control it. Oh, there's all these checks and balances, but if you remember and were paying attention step by step, they gloriously announced how they eliminated all of these checks and balances one at a time. and overrode them or went around them or ignored them. Well, even the way that they do the paperwork was part of the checks and balances. And right now you've got Shisters in Washington, scumbag lawyers working with the scumbag bankers who want to eliminate all of the restrictions that were supposed to keep them online and honest with foreclosures. Now, what does that tell you? It doesn't surprise us, and in fact, just a reverse. It's exactly what we expected. It is nothing where I'm going, wow, we never expected that. Oh, BS. It's exactly what we expected. They're doing exactly what was anticipated, and they're being just as wicked evil as everybody was warned they would be. So, as far as an actual war breaking out in the U.S., I think it'll be for other reasons than they really want to try and promote. Most everybody is tired of socialists. The socialists aren't because they figure they can continue to dip from a well that's already empty and basically you're scraping mud out of. And that's about it. There's no water left. You can't squeeze blood from stone. So, again, looking at a lot of people out there, you're going to need to make sure that you have the weapon systems online. Even if all you've got is a .22, that's a start. For all the BS that we've heard and for all the appers out there, well, you only got a 22. A 22 will get you started and it's a hell of a lot better than harsh language. Also, if properly integrated with other weapons systems, the 22 serve their purpose. Now, you're stuck in terms of ammunition in that whatever you got, it's going to be the basic performance range of the standard 22, that's it. But it can be applied. As a tool and toolbox, if it's applied properly, it can be applied well. Okay, so don't poo-poo the 22 just make sure you got crates and crates and crates and crates ammo because you're not reloading any Okay, whatever you got is all you got so buy more load, you know load more into the ammo cans buy more load more into the ammo cans That's the best thing that you can do to keep yourself from getting into the wrong You know wrong hands or getting stuck in the wrong position with you know, no ammo clicky clicky and no Tiki no washi We don't want to see that happen Next on the list as far as this goes with regard to ground conflict is motor transport support, guys. Focus on your trucks, focus on your vans, focus on your tactical support equipment. Make sure your trailers are squared away. This is something that I've been doing nonstop and I'll never have enough time to get it all done. Camouflage nets or at least camouflage coverings of some kind. Now, just because it's camouflaged doesn't mean it will do that well when the time comes. But OD green canvas or OD green ponchos that are tired and worn out can be snapped together and made to, you know, used to make general cover. When you don't have a planned design, whether it's a pattern, it's less likely, least likely that the design or the pattern will jump out or the object will jump out because there is no pattern. So randomly snapping stuff together like that means you'll get different color variations. Some of the stuff is worn out. The plastic backing is gone. It's just a nylon poncho. That's perfect. That creates a ripple fold effect. It's got shadows, different strange colorations, and it will work to serve you well. Another thing there with regard to the vehicles, spare tires, spare tires, and spare tires. One of the things that I've noticed, and I don't know what's going on right now except that maybe there's been a general crackdown, most all of the places that normally have lots of piled up spare tires have been cleaned out recently. Everything and anything, no matter what it is, they've wanted it dragged in and dropped off with the recycler or with the disposal unit. but the stuff is not being allowed to be piled up anywhere, at least not in our area. So I'd be curious about that. Keep an eye on your area of operation. One of the reasons I bring that up is because that's a cheap way to have lots of tires that you can have on hand. Are they the best tires in the world? No. Are they fancy? Well, some are, depending on what they were taking off from. But basically, they are inexpensive, in some cases not perfectly matched with other tires. But for instance, lots of 15-inch tires are a real good idea if your tactical vehicles are 15-inch rims. Why? Well, they're going to get shot, they're going to get gouged, you're going to run nails through them, you're going to get pieces of pipe, people are going to drop caltrops, people walk up and cut them. Any number of things can happen. Part of the immediate destruction if you're going to try and disable a vehicle is to cut the sidewall. Cut the sidewall in two or three or four locations. Just that easy. The simplest way to do it. And it's pretty quick and straightforward. Plug it in and send it on down the road. Boom, already laying there bleeding or wheezing. It's not going anywhere. That keeps it from at least being part of an operation. Temporary. Changing the tires how long it takes to put it back in the field. In reverse order that could happen to you. So two spares per vehicle is preferred. Two spares per vehicle is preferred. On rims. Other tires can be carried off rim. But you better, again, you gotta practice how to put them on and you better learn and find the tools that you need to do it in the field. because you will go through tires. Use tires, put them inside, get them out of the weather, stack them up where they're secure so they don't get messed up. Make sure that if you can, cover them up because sun damages plastic. In this case, these tires are, if you're going to keep them around for any period of time, you want to make sure that they're at least kept as much out of the weather as is feasible. There are a number of different tricks there that you can use. Some people wrap them up in paper like the dealership originally did when they came from the factory. Remember, they had them wrapped up. They have to unpackage them like a Christmas present and then put them up on the shelf for display. That's the way perhaps to mummify them and go back in the other direction. Watch with paper, waxing paper that can be recycled. Use it accordingly. The other thing is tools. And this is something that, by the way, precision screwdrivers and precision cleaning kits for your weapons. Now, any screwdriver in a store will work, provided it's approximately the right size. You've got to make sure that the screwdrivers and tools are the right size. But if you're going to start disassembling a lot of weapons, invest in a military or in an armored screwdriver set, a precision screwdriver set that's designed for working with guns. There will be a wide range of sizes and they will be very specific. There are different slot size screwdrivers and there are different Phillips. Oh, by the way, have you noticed on the German equipment you got the spanner pin system? Yeah, that's where you got those two dots and you got to have them a certain distance apart, and then you could unscrew oh, yeah Yeah, you've seen those on those German Mausers and such well. They're a lot of other weapons, too It'd be a good idea to invest in a spanner set now. That's a unique set of tools But let me recommend, and I don't, you know I don't do this all the time, but Grainger has the specialized tools like that on the shelf. They're not the only ones. You can go to plumbing supplies or electrical supply companies, and if you're lucky, they will have what you need sitting there. Just find out. See, ask for a tool catalog for what they have on the shelf or what they have listed. The most, the least expensive of those in the spanner screwdriver set are a multi-head type screwdriver. They're a hex type system they have. They're actually a little beefier or girthier hex system than the regular industrial pattern you see that's used for drill heads and things of that nature. But they are a very useful set. And they should be put into your priority and specially preserved toolbox where the stuff doesn't go to be used for anything else but firearms. Lubricate, make sure that you clean, make sure that you maintain, do an inspection of all those tools because those tools are going to cost you a little more money in some cases. That spanner is set with the hex inserts at various, but price is still, again, if it's cost you money, that's money you're not getting back, so the best thing to do is make sure you take care of whatever it is you spent those FRN notes on so that you get your money's worth out of them, so you're able to preserve them. The other thing with regard to tools is don't forget, and we've talked about brass rods and steel rods that are longer than the internal length of the barrel and chamber. These are very handy when you have, for instance, rifle cases that may get stuck. And if you do not have a broken shell extractor, well, you take the rod, poke it down through to the base of the cartridge, and again, putting a spacer in place over the muzzle, the crown, the barrel, you can then tap with a hammer. Don't tap and beat or smack on the end of the weapon. If you do that, you'll be desensitizing the thing. It's going to be off-centering the muzzle. And what happens is you're damaging the crown of the barrel. You don't want that to happen. So as I said, whatever you're doing, that brass or steel rod, ideally one of each, you can get them in a number of different sizes. Has to be small enough that it fits down a 30-caliber barrel and is below 30-caliber would be your best choice. This will allow you to be able to tap, tap, tap with patience, not walloping like you're trying to drive a number 10 nail or a spike into place. Instead, you tap and strike, sharp strikes to try and break the adhesion. So tools are the other issue, and especially the armorers tools. Now this gets me into another thing. All of these, and you know, by the way, I've been calling around and I still have to make calls, forgive me, it's Weapons Wednesday and I won't be able to get it done tonight. But by tomorrow, I'll give you a sitrep on the situation with the 800,000 car beams and garands that were blocked from Korea. It sounds like the UN and the US are going to pay to have the guns destroyed rather than coming back to the United States, even though they're all American-made weapons. That's not a surprise. And one of the things to consider, if it looks, and I will let you know, Like those that those weapons may somehow, they may flip-flop again, but I doubt it. If they do, then there's going to be information available in the system. So far everybody's saying, nope, nope, you were right Mark, they screwed us. But if I can get more information, I will, because one thing that you'll notice, the Koreans are bringing in d-clips for the grands, The Koreans are bringing in 15 round magazines, brand new manufacture made to US mil spec exactly as they were built World War II and for the Korean War. The reason is the Koreans have all the machinery and have all the technology there. They were using the Garand as a backup rifle. They've been using the carbine for the longest time. It's a nice weapon for its size, for the size of the Korean people, and for a lot of the other Asian populations. They like the carbines because they're small, they're lightweight, recoil comfortable, and they serve their purpose. And they've got a good volume magazine capacity. So that's cool for them. Now because of this, you're going to want to start picking up more carbine mags. If you're serious about getting carbines anyway, this latest wave of M1 carbines that are 15 round mags that are coming in are a good price and they're very well made. They reflect the money problem of the day. Most everybody will always buy carbine mags for 50 cents. Yes, yes you did. And I did too, everybody else did. Then they were a dollar a piece. Well those days are gone and this is not surplus made by the US military with your tax dollars. These are new manufactured magazines made in a factory where people had to put them together and make them right. They're sealed and in the plastic and in the foil just like the US middle spec mags were years ago. So you can't beat the way they're stored. You can buy them, put them on the shelf, and put them away. Along with the cosballooned rifle, they're all set to go. I heard a beep. We may have a caller. Who do we have? We may have just a late caller or somebody had to take off. Anyway, the card beam mag is definitely worth it. There we go. Center Fire Systems, by the way. Don't forget, guys, they've got the 75-round AK drums. I want to harp on that again for a bit. Weapons Wednesday here. If you have an AK, now I'm going to ask, please do this. The reason is this is part of our militia SOP. If you are thinking about organizing or joining a militia, every man that carries an AK should have one 75 round drum. At least one. If you can buy more, get them. Used to be we bought them for $20 apiece. Well, right now they're $70 apiece from Centerfire. They're Korean manufactured. They're copies of the Chikon 75 round mag. These are a good, reliable drum. Every AK should have one drum. Normally these would be used with the RPK and the Squad-O-Matic riflemen. In this case, every AK that we have should have a drum. Centerfiresystems.com Centerfiresystems.com Centerfiresystems.com Centerfiresystems.com Centerfiresystems.com Go out there, take advantage of the sale, grab yourself a 75-round drum for each of the AKs as you can. You get the better price if you buy two at a time at least. Okay? And that's your best choice. Again, for everyone, we use them for traveling. And we could also use them for any other condition, but we use them for our vehicle gunners. And also, every man has a drum. They put the drum on the weapon, and when we're in traveling mode, that's when the drum's in the gun for sure. Why? Well, probably it's supposed to be your least concerned environment. It's when you're supposed to be moving quickly and you don't expect contact. That's right. So when I don't expect contact in an ambush, that's when I want the greatest amount of firepower in Hank is I have to dump rounds into the aggressor. If I'm in an ambush situation, your choice is go over to select fire if you've got it or if not, twitchy trigger finger and 75 round drum make for a lot of firepower in a short period of time. that will suppress your enemy. Now you don't just spray and pray. If you identify a threat area, bring a weapon up to the shoulder. You can hip fire initially, but you'll be bringing the weapon up to the shoulder and pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, The objective is to get as many of them as you can. If you try to stay in the kill zone, you'll be found dead in the kill zone. If you try to run and it's a prepared operational ambush, then when you try to run, where you are pushed to is the second kill zone, typically with pyrotechnics or with even more firepower available that's already fixed in position. Okay? So your best choice is turn and engage that which is attacking. In many cases the ambush distance can be as short as 11 feet. That means whoever starts blazing away first, even if you're wounded, take and command your body. Typically if you're wounded, you won't feel it right away guys. The nice thing about shock is it can kind of deflect that pain thing long enough to keep you an opportunity to kill the people that may have tried to kill you. So, you know, that's why we use the drums. Everybody carries a drum in, well, they can use them for patrolling, of course, or we use them for traveling. That way we've got 75 times however many 100 AKs in service. If they all fire and engage in the same way at the same time, something's going to get hit. See how that works? Something is going to get hit. We are just about at the top here, so I want to remind you too that we have Craig coming in. He may be working in the field this evening. I have not had a chance to check, but otherwise he should be in the studio. And of course that is forbidden knowledge. That will be coming up right after us. So stay tuned.
