Summary
Mark Koernke discussed Saiga shotgun specifications and accessories, including gas adjustment systems, stocks, and trigger quality. The show featured extensive technical discussion of magazine conversion adapters from Magnolia State Armory that allow Saiga and Galil rifles to use standard AR-15 magazines, with pricing and contact information provided. Callers contributed details on weapon commonality, parts compatibility, and the advantages of using cheaper AR-15 magazines for training while preserving expensive original magazines. Koernke also addressed the disappearance of inexpensive handgun brands like Rossi, FIE, Llama, and Star from the market, recommending listeners purchase spare magazines for these weapons while available.

Live 365. Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republic and each God-given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? And good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, this is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report I'm Mark Cranky One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories. Central, west, east, and gentlemen, you're listening to us on... Right, Liberty Tree Radio dot 4mg dot com, pbn dot 4mg dot com, and we are on live 365. Then go to Liberty Tree Radio, WorldSwan AM and FM, Mike Rose Station, CB Bay Stations, and UltraNet Technologies both east and west of the Mississippi along with Southern and Central Alaska. We're on the Hallmark Network at the eastern seaboard, top of Maine, the bottom of Florida, bottom of Florida, across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico, to Texas, from Texas all the way up to Nebraska. Nebraska, where the cows, nuclear wheat, or corn, nuclear, and the nuclear arms below the ground are all glowing delightfully in the evening. Then across over to the third of Wyoming, then back over to our friends in Iowa, especially the farmers out there. harvesting this week uh... and of course work until they've got to let the pick out of the field good job there keep it up a beat be careful be safe jam up shut it off then fix it then turn it back on common sense you won't be hurt that way there was a city to the golden spike project was a high to the restaurant crew gravity the ok teams all across the smokies and especially to the mob elg rebels headed towards the invasion of spiral that much more headed west that's really cool Today's date is the 13th of October, the second year of the habean socialist and Soviet socialist occupation. Now remember guys, the Sega shotguns are designed and work exceptionally well as fighting shotguns. And there's nothing you really have to do to them out of the box. They're ready for that mission right away, aren't they Marcus? That's Roger. Guys, if you haven't looked into them, they've got a adjustable gas system, a one or two, one's high brass, two is low brass. Folks, I think one's high brass. But anyway, they come in through cylinder, have threaded, all threads, protective ring on the end of the barrel. you can buy screw-on things and make them go modified, choke, and extra full. It comes with a cleaning kit. The neat thing is, guys, they have a C-stock on them. That means it has a pistol grip standard stock that has two Phillips head screws in the butt there that you can open up and put a cleaning kit inside and carry it with the weapon. And if you're carrying your multi-tool, you can always have access to clean that. The good thing is guys, the trigger on those things are not bad, they're very robust, great trigger. If you go to changing the stocks out, you gotta move the trigger and do this kind of work on that. Leave the gun like it is. If you want to put sights on it, all that stuff, that's fine. But guys, it's a great gun like it is. Put your sling system on it, however you want to sling it. And you can rock and roll and have a great time. My best friend just bought one. and he's just like absolutely amazed. He said, why didn't somebody in America help with something like this? You know, I said, yeah, it is called the Remington 1100 and whatever. He said, yeah, but that's still a tube fed and it still takes time to load. And the other thing is hard to put an extension to want a 1100 and some of the others. So that do our pump. Like I say, it's an awesome weapon and I like shooting them. And I've shot one with the pistol grip on it. I kept looking at a guy like Shane and he says, why do you want my buttstock? I said, well, if you guys don't want it, You know, you already screwed the gun up, you can't put it back on, let me have it. And I gave it to my best friend in case his breaks, he's already got a spare buttstock. This is something that a lot of people have a tough time with. Guys, if you are going to just toss out, if you've altered the weapon so dramatically that it cannot be all, you know, so we say, easily converted back, then route the spare parts to the people where they can be used. This is true of a lot of different systems and weapons systems and other equipment out there that some of you are using. Why do you want the book stock? Well, how about I think I know some place where it will be of use and since it is no longer of use to you, it would be closer to the weapon that it would be handy for, to spare parts. And route them accordingly anyway. We've talked about this forever on the air and we've talked about this in classes. Guys, I won't hesitate to route a piece of equipment if I find something yard sale, man I got it for nothing. Well, but it's worth a fortune. But I've got somebody who has that piece of equipment and I don't really have a direct use for it. It goes to the person who needs it. Because that serves our overall cause. And that's what I'm more concerned with than anything else. Let's get this to the people where it needs to be. Same with weapons parts. Get the weapons parts, pieces and assemblies. You find something that's useful. You're able to salvage it or save it. Route it to the people that need it. And then act accordingly. Can I give you another example of that, Mark? Go ahead, please. It's called a Remington Model 788. It's a predecessor to the Model 7. It had a few little points. It's a good rifle. Just don't shoot hotboats in it. and had thrown away his original wooden stock. He said he couldn't get the back screw out. We were guarding the weapon from the weapon to properly do his maintenance on it. And it had been in there for a while. It was time to find out how to shoot hot loads through it and it bent the aftermarket screw. Got it out, Trachins couldn't do it. Ordered to replace his original stock so we can put the released original gun back together. He said, well, it was an ugly piece of wood. Now he didn't want his cheap piece of wood. I want to put this nice stock on here. I'm like, how are your guns useless? To make him a screw, not a machine, to make him a hardened screw, a rear trigger guard screw, rifle back, a great shooter, put a rifle on because he threw away. Guys, if you know anything about the 788, different 700s, or even the old 721, so you can't use those stocks to make your 788 work, you really need to keep it or just make a whole new stock. It bit him in the butt, gave him some money. by not keeping the original and just ordering a $3.50 screw and he could have gone back to the original stock and then spent the time to go buy him another stock or trade it out with the Ramliner, whoever it was, and not have the rifle in some downtime. Don't just throw stuff away, guys, or if you get people who want to throw it away, like Mark said, take it off their hands, put it up. Just never know what's going to come in handy. Any information you see, throw it throughout the original box for a weapon. the manufacturers, that Ruger book and put it in your stash, it's got a part, it's got a look at this weapon, brownings, everything, stuff away. So good, if you can. Interestingly enough, one of the things too about the both the Sega shotguns and any of the gas, our pretty guns guys is the cyclic rate with regard to multiple rounds. Let's not forget this one, just one Tyson real quick. The cyclic rate with multiple round hits especially in a single target, if one shot shell is traumatic, imagine a three round tap at burst, low and then as it rises into a target area, say a doorway, a hallway, actually from above, you realize what kind of, you're talking, this is for suppression and for fallback weapons especially, as we said, this is an optimal, this is an optimal system option. And a lot of people don't think about it. They're thinking, man, I need an AK, I need this anyway. Again, Bob, be careful with modifications. Personally, I know a lot of people have wanted to do this, Marcus. They've wanted to switch over to the pistol grip and make it look more like a regular AK-47. But the standard stocks that exist on the SAGAs, if you've already done it, fine, don't worry about it. And that's your personal choice. But my idea is that I've always spent a good chunk of change on the weapon. The C stocks work just fine. and uh... they also all four more effective cross use with people who may not have experience with the gun in general exactly consider that you know the average americans you know has had some time on a twelve gauge twenty gauge a four ten the c type stocks which are the standard to a straight cost rate call stock you know was straight uh... off of the back of the receiver all the they already worked all the bugs out of this army sagas The advantage is when you go from one weapon to the next, the 870 to the 1100 to the Sega, the basic pattern of the gun is the same. There's no breakdown or familiarization time. The average person is going to shoulder the gun. It may be unfamiliar with the balance or the variations in each gun, so they adjust for that very quickly. But the basic design and the basic weight of the weapon is such that they can easily pick up and use one of those firearms in a combat situation. And that's one of the other considerations is turn around time when cycling people into a fighting unit. How long does it take for you to adapt the individual to the program? Now if your weapons are pretty much consistent even though there may be variations on the weapon and you still have an opportunity using a training aid rifle or a training aid weapon system, Bring them up to speed to a certain degree in one area, but then shifting them out to whatever weapon of opportunity you may have to issue to them. That's just one of those many ideas. Things we've had to look at for years from a militia standpoint, how do we take advantage of the vast multi-million weapon inventory? It's out there. How do we route it? How do we get people cycled into and develop their skills in the shortest period of time? We have to be thinking that way. I heard another beep. We might have another caller. Yeah, you got me, Mark. I'll go back to the sake. I should go from one to the other and never lose a muscle tone because every one of them is basic. their company the comfort zone the performance rearrange is more than effective enough the neat thing is is uh... you know you you paid big money in the past for that by the way guys do you remember like when the eight seventy competition guns i mean if they've ever done twelve gauge or twenty gauge or twenty you know was that uh... twenty eight gauge competition you know you you buy the you had to pay them get matched guns the one cool thing about these uh... sagas is that uh... you carried one you carry mall That's it. That's the reason. That's why I got the whole, I guess you might say because I carry one, I carry all and they all feel, you know, there's no muscle, you know, practicing or learning or, you know, feel or whatever because you've won, you picked up them all. Right. Muscle and memory. I'll tell you what, there are that 300 yards. No, no. See, no. And you can adjust the recoil, I would say. There's an adjustment up there for what you want for how much gas you want. 200 yards, I'll tell you what I put that for. I guess one thing he said about that 20 If you've got a vehicle and you're moving through the area and you've got a guy top-mounting over the cab of a truck or something and you've got one of those 20-round drums, it's like having a 75-round drum on a AKM or a 100-round Betamag on an AR-50 M16. But I would rather have firing minimum of nine til every time they pull the trigger and there's no machine gun except one of those Gatlin guns, they're going to shoot that fast and put that much ammo down and you hit 20 targets Instead of one trigger pull, you knock off some of the rounds that you're gonna engage three or four targets. Now another thing about this too, we mentioned drums. Guys, sources for drums. Even Centerfighters actually had drums for Sega's available. I don't know if they're carrying them right now again. They are. The fact they got one on special right now, they got the 20 round drum on special. Excellent. And so there again, there are different options with different companies for both the drums. I think they have a 10 and they have a 20. Am I correct on that or is it 12? So you, again, now here's the thing I would recommend. Mark doesn't normally say this, but go buy them now, go buy them now, go buy them now. And the reason I'm saying this is because guys, the ammunition and mag bands we've seen in the past, specifically targeted to block the drums. Now, for obvious reasons. We used to get drums from China for 1995 apiece and everybody, like I told you, went back when they were 1995. That's a $20 bill. Buy all you can and just keep grabbing them and throwing them on the shelf. Why? Because, well, if you've got a vehicle, if you've got a defense or if you've got a squad automatic rifleman and he's going to be designated to pull the trigger a lot, those 100-round and 75-round drums means he focuses on throwing lead down range, not in concerning himself, so the magazine changes as often. the drums are handy, there can be a package. In the 12 gauge, I mean, come on, just what we've been talking about, you're looking at a 12 round drum mag or with a stick system, or you're looking at a 20 round, and what, George, you know what the price is on the sale price right now? $69.99. Yeah. Now here again, we've got people at machine shops that are listening. Can I recommend that you guys maybe buy one of those drums and look at it in all steel, top to bottom. And with all the CNC work out there, okay, if you want to do it in aluminum, do it in all of them. But either way, we need to have a couple of American little companies cranking out more of this stuff from another angle and another direction. And they need to know how to do it, and they need to know how to do it fast. Because to be able to produce these things There are other guns, and this is one nice thing about the design. Remember, there are a couple other weapons out there that are pump guns, for instance, that are magazine fed, that are American made, and some foreign imports. There are some magazine conversion systems that were done for some of the American pump guns. So they will take a stick magazine. Now, we have the basics there. What we need to do is cross-reference these drums so that they will fit in those guns. We need to cross index them. We need to make them so that they will work. I know it's a little chunk of change, but I believe, priceless if you can fit a niche in a market. Yep, our listeners out there need to be, especially our technical listeners, need to think about that one. Otherwise, a couple of drums and some stick mags for the Sega, and I'd say you got some firepower laying there waiting. So for a defensive guard or for perimeter guards, flanking guards, uh... rear going for again for withdrawal the rear guard action you know that word guards in their lot but the uh... this type of weapon is optimal for that kind of work short of again thinking that you're a care of submachine gun you're looking to putting more lead downrange in a you know a single shot so that you're saturating the target area you get the same effect of the subgun without the spread you know the peppering effect you're gonna have a beaten zone but it's going to be very specific which is why again your weapons So one of the things that are exciting going on with the Sega right now, have we got a bayonet fixture yet or not? I'm just hoping, you know, because the model member of the old model in 97 Winchester thumb busters used a model 1917 Enfield bayonet, long, you know, the trench model. and to me uh... that was kind of handy to have the pokey pokey sticky sticky thing there that was sort of your sword band and also makes a great hack and chopping tool here because there are a suggestion that these technical guys twelve and twenty three have threaded actually make a next girl and the body of the screws at that the job will move the tricks we did before is to do a wraparound clamshell type like they did on the m fourteen gb models word actually we know the fixture is you know it would clamps around the barrel that's an option to get the stud and then after that standard AK-74 AK-47 Vanettes have a pretty good sized ring for the flash hider, the 74 type flash hider so they might work well with the 12 gauge right off the bat. We're going to have to experiment a little bit. We're going to have to do some research on that. I think they fit the 20 but I'm not sure. I brought up a unique idea here with the Vanette I know. But yeah, I like the sharp, pokey-pokey thing. If all else fails, do what they did with them. What they did is came up with an entire fixture that had its own stud so it didn't actually go around. Remember, take a look at the model 1897 Winchester. The Vanette Log and the retainer are actually completely below the barrel, actually attached to the front and below the barrel to the magazine well, or the magazine tube. So an interesting idea, something that could be done. With CNC machinery, it's not like it was in the past. In the past, you're like, man, I've got to do setup, I'm going to have to calculate, which you still have to do, but I have to map this out, and then it's so many machine steps. Now, the good thing about doing individual traditional machinery work is because of that, you always think ahead and try to build everything with minimal steps. The CNC machine has made an engineer, the economy in action engineer, a little, shall we say, deleted. because the machine works so fast and can do so many steps that everybody just kind of ignores that to a degree. But from production standpoint, you want to look at, you know, even with electronics and with sophisticated computer programming, you still want a minimal amount of motion and energy spent for maximum benefit. Because the fewer steps you can take, the faster you can get it done, the sooner the next part's done, and that's, you know, economy and force. so that's something to think about. No matter what it is we're building, but in this case the Vanette Log something we've had to reinvent at different times, we'll see what we can do. I'm going to ask some of the guys to do some research on that. Anything else new? It either ends right now on, for instance, has anybody had a chance to test any of the magazine well inserts? for the 223 Galil or the other rifles out there using the air 15 conversions now, air 15 mag conversions. I understand they're in the gym. Yeah, they're in the gym 3 on those. Right. No one I've seen or did anything with the Sega in the 223 shooting the air 15 mags, that thing worked like a house of... Excellent. That's the other thing I was curious about because I know we've had a chance now for those things to be in the field. Most everybody initially complimented them, which is good. But again, for people who aren't familiar with these, Marcus, go ahead, because a lot of people listening have, are thinking about. Now here's the other thing, and I don't have a problem with this. The classic arms.us has a whole pile, 2.3 and 5.4 or 5.0 by 39. The unique rifle is the .223. That's the oddest ball out because of magazines. However, with this conversion, standard air 15 mags, right? Go ahead, give everybody an update on that. And again, point of contact. Where do they go to find out more? Magnolia State, guys just like the tree, MagnoliaStateArmory.com, MagnoliaStateArmory.com, Dada McKinney, Texas. They make a Bulgarian, Galil, Romanian, Russian AK, which is for the Segas, and a Valmet. These adapters allow you to do just a minor bit of trunnion work. They send some very good explanations, got some videos of what he's talking about. You need to grind down just a little bit. Very little work and your standard still function need no problem. Adapter, I'm looking at one right here at the window website. Right now, there were 150 that first came out. He had them on sale for 99. And their standard price is $129, based on 130 bucks. And Adapter for the Sega Galil, for the AKM series, which AK means, you know, the Bulgarian and all the other stuff. And the Gen 2, the Valmet, you got Gen 2 Valmet M76-71 adapter, and you've got the Generation 4 adapter be shipping for the Galil. And also they make them, also works in the African R4 Galil. Also in the non-IMI spec receivers, as well as the original Israeli military industry receivers. And that's in the Delil. These things are $129, $130 apiece. And put this thing in your weapon. You can use AR-15, 10, 20, 30 round mags all day long. Use the beta mag. Shoot them all day long. If you want to go back to the original Sega magazines or whatever, you take this adapter, pop it right back out, and go back and use. Also, he makes B-A-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S- ASTR-D line that are a little more permanently installed and they're running 90 bucks for the Sega. Instead of having a removal adapter, you can permanently install this adapter and so you always will use the R15M16 mag. So that conversion is 90 bucks where the ones that comes in and out is 129. Over. That's Magnolia's bait armory. Now one of the reasons I want to bring this up again is because a lot of guys You're looking at shaving some cost off. One of the things to think about is a lot of guys that are looking for 223 rifles that are affordable. ARs, you know, certain models come down just a hair but not by enough. They're still around this part. Yeah, six, eight hundred, a thousand dollars. With all of the AR parts for cranking out guys, the AR should be done around the price of the AK. I mean, come on, CLC work, there's piles of the stuff laying there. They're beautiful rifles, don't have a problem with them. comes down to pricing, charging with the market will bear, not necessarily what the market can afford. On the other hand, what we have here is the Sega Sub-Atomatic 223 rifles, about $320 a piece to $340 a piece depending on who you buy them from. You get the conversion, yes that's going to bring it back up a bit, $130 per $129 whatever. but $130 for the adapter. However, where you save and what is an advantage is because many of your units may have a whole bunch of other ARs that are in service right now. Mini-14s of course are out there too as we know. You won't neglect the Mini-14, it's still out there in force. But the dominant AR-15 rifle means dominant AR-15 mags. Plus, most governments out there that are sugar daddy, are sugared by the u.s. are carrying the m sixteen one for another r m sixteen a one the eight oohs or knockoff him for your garbage copies anyway and also the country's character yeah because of that and you were saying magazine at the weapons of the different right so we've been we do a lot of other countries have a variation one for weapon or another but the air mag is still the standard mag for the weapon so you're going to a lot of lots of lots of lots of lots of lots of mag surplus you know captured With that being the case, you need to look at the idea of perhaps building up the Sega rifle into this AR hybrid. Now the advantage too is if you've got a bunch of guys in the ARs in the squad and for somebody who's looking for a cheaper solution than the $600 or $1,000 rifle out there, that Sega carbine is the place to go guys. That will be the direct... It's also easier maintenance. It will keep shooting when the regular bolt design, stoner design won't buy that stoner, but design won't. And they're very accurate. I'm just amazed how accurate those little rifles are. The other funny thing about this too when you look at the SAGAs, the thing is, if they're up enough, if they fire too many rounds, they're going to start carving up and failing. Hey, you've got to have one rifle and the fire team is going to still be working. It is not just gas, not just gas, paint and tingement. Right, exactly. So the cool thing is that again, it's a solution. ClassicArms.US right now I think has probably the best price on the Sega's that are out there for the price for the .223. They do of course have .762x39, they've got .545x39. But the big thing is the fact that you also have all the other side fixtures. The Sega rifles come with the scope mount slides, side of the rifle. The fact that Classic even has an entire package, if you look at it, they've got the rings, they've got the mount, they've got the scope, they've got the rifle. So if you want to move in that direction, there you go. But if, and again, then just use it as a placement weapon on top of everything else. But being able to use AR-15 mags is a big plus, plus, plus, because there's a whole lot of them out there. Let's not forget that there are even drums. We've been talking about that all day. There are drums for the AR-15. Now the Mitchells are plastic, but there are some U.S. copies. They're the ones that were just before the band. And there are CHI-COM copies of the 223 magazines that were for the AR-15, a lot of you guys have their 125 rounds per drum and they're using a standard AR-15 magazine well, really cool. So guys take the time, put those together and you've got yourself a pretty decent little package, some fire power. Pop, pop, boom, boom. I'll tell you what, I think you're another caller, who do we have? It's just me, I'm back to the line, I lost you a minute ago. You know Mark, one good thing about it is I air trigger assemblies nine-yard smear and they all fit one another. I can go from the three seven six to carry one set apart for three different. Why are the guys the engineer over there because obviously you were thinking it for commonality of components. Yeah, the gas states anyone and it'll quit. No it is there. Great hit, great hit. That's one of the things I looked at real seriously I met is the common area parts because I'm a firm believer in that. That's way of my equipment. I think standing where I don't have to carry 40 different parts or 40 different guns. It means that our machines will be running when a lot of others aren't. The one nice thing that I see here with this too, on the Magnolia page, Marcus, give out that webpage again for everybody. Do it slow and go twice, please. India, Altego, Altego, Echo, Yankee. So Magnolia is Mike Alpha November on India Alpha, the word state like the state you live in. Then the last word is Romeo Mike Oscar Romeo Yankee. This is all then dot com. So the only dot is armory of Magnolia State Armory. It was in McKinney, Texas, only about 25 miles from me. Hey, there your backyard. You could do some research first, George. Yeah. That'd be fantastic. Let's see about bringing them up on the air. That's the thing. Yeah, I want to go over there and talk to them. Yeah, they're still a waste of me. In fact, there's miles from me. In McKinney, they'll talk to sure sales people. Well, interestingly enough, again, now the interesting thing is, again, guys, for a lot of your listening, some of you may already have the rifle and didn't know about this. We've got new listeners all the time, guys even the down. Even if you've been down in Knob Creek, you know, a lot of the guys have not seen these. having talked to them already and talked to people even down there and said, hey by the way, so one of the things to consider is take the time to hook up with the webpage and then George, if you can, that would be fantastic. You can do a follow up, maybe even drag one of the guys up on the air and we can talk with them about the projects, how this came about. I know it's basically a man that can't be that hard. especially where it's an insert system. The neat thing is guys, you can be using the standard rifle, you could use your existing mags, but if that looks like that's not satisfactory, then you can trade out to, you know, in other words, you lose the mags. One thing that's gonna happen, galil mags are not cheap. That's all there is to it. That's one of the reasons these galils are out there. They actually came down in price because they didn't have any mags. They only had like one 40-round mag with a weapon, and then finally some 32-rounders or 30-rounders came in, I understand. In fact, I saw some of them at the show this week, and maybe about 10 or 20 of them at Knob Creek. And that's it. So this conversion for the Galil makes the Galil viable again. For the Felmate. Now, the Felmate is an interesting rifle. First of all, if you have one, you already got something that's worth a small fortune as it is. That's just all there is to it. There aren't any more coming into the US. They're the Cadillacs Cadillac of AKs. But to have a Velma adapter means you can save wear and tear on all those expensive Velma mags you got. So that's a plus. Burn out the air 15 mags. That gets into a conversation I've had several times with people about using the mags in general. Everybody says, well, I still think the AGL, say the Galil mag, or the Velma mag, or my Sega mag works better. That's very true. But with the adapter, Since I believe that my Galil or my Sega or my whatever mag works better, why not save wear and tear on them by getting the adapter and using the AR-15 mags for your training in operations? Any activities, the reason? Wait, the AR-15 mag cost $8, $10, you beat it up, you break it, you step on it, you're like, who cares? You've got that $100 magazine that you drop and ding or dent or smack, and by the way, it was serial numbered to your rifle. and you're going to cry. Especially if you're looking at, well I bought it as a collector's item as much as anything, but I will. You shoot it, okay? Well, you know, just save it, protect it. This is one of the techniques that's used. Anytime you get other parts and the parts are cheaper to use for a project like this, that's what you want to go to. So start thinking that way with everything that's, you know, going on with our weapon systems in general. I know there's some other projects in the wings. I'd really love to see a .308 Sega be because as soon as he makes one that will fit the Sega, somebody is going to pirate it and make it fit other things. Oh yeah, it doesn't have to be a you know with a 308 it's gonna be heavy enough as it is but a 50 round drum or a 40 round drum would make a significant change in firepower Especially for certain missions one of the things you've now years ago guys Just before the the magazine and ammo ban back in the 90s This is what it did it killed a bunch of companies They knew what they were doing because they were up and coming they had just invented invested money there is a company that built a 50 round or 60 round drum for the 308 rifles. They modeled it so they could extend it. It basically was an extension of a 20 round M14 mag and they also made them for the HKs. Now that means that the whole engineering process was worked out. In other words it was done. The problem is whether or not we can scrounge up all you gotta do is have one, give me a sample of one and everybody else will get the work accomplished. I'll give you an example, right now we have a Velma weight rifle project in motion. The original Velma 308 rifles were using an HK91 magazine that was modified because the Velma didn't have a 20 round 308 magazine. So what they did is they sculpted off the ends of the mag on the shore of the narrow ends. They ground down the sidewalls a little bit and they put their own AK fixture on the back to make the HK91 mags fit the Valme 308. Now guess what's really cheap right now? Lots and lots of 308 HK91 mags. That's what we can do with a model of one of those mags and a whole bunch of the steel HK91 mags. They go to a certain person with the right machinery and we have a whole pile of velmé mags for these guys who have 308 velmés. This means that instead of having 5 or 6 or 3 or 4 mags like they do now, they can have a full brace of 20 to 25 modified HK91 mags and their rifle becomes militarily viable again. Because you've got to have, you know, 6 mags are okay but 20 is a better option. Maybe that's just Mark, I don't know. but twenty means that i don't worry about reloading really had a drum would be priceless that makes that uh... m one a at poor man's b a r that makes the uh... that set me right for poor man's b a r we think about it for a bipod on it for a you know a quick to buy the roof if you want to for optics otherwise iron sites and the quick trigger finger no proper stance and bubble bubble bubble bubble when you're going to reload uh... well not anytime soon but i know boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom We got all the photographs from Knob Creek with the band. Man, I tell you what, we really did well with this. I'm going to have to compliment us on a compliment ourselves on this. The photo work done with the band, we've got some really good night shots to also, of course, off the range itself. So watch for that as part of the new video. We're going to do a new Poker Face video as quick as we can. And should have some other cool stuff from the creek up and posted here very, very shortly. We'll see how that works. Anyway, what else we got before we go, guys? We're getting close to the top. Go ahead. Mark, what's up, the Sega's guys? Tree right now. Russian American Armory Company C. And it's info-a-a-c, that's Romeo Alpha. Email address, India, and the Armory Company. Fire on them and send them an email and ask them, when y'all gonna start emplacement or repair, for free, free is eight. Niner, one more time, or niner, four. And guys, don't be bashful, call the guys up. dude there and charge us into a really nice fella. I get emails from every once in a while. The more people that call, I got a FEGA and I would like some reply I got for my team. I got for my room to model 700. I got for my F and FAL or whatever. Trying to get the guys in Russia, say hey there are people in America wants their, you know, I don't know about liability issues or whatever else, you know, sometimes it gets crazy like that but guys that never heard of those props made for the equipment springs because there's very little of that in country right now and I've been asking them to look at Carolina shooters or somebody, Sega dealers in the country here, get these spare parts in and they're saying the same thing. Peach State Guns is asking them, but guys call American Armory Company, that's info, this is an email address, info Charlie and the same name, all of them at 870 are the only Sega importer into this country. They are the Sega importer and everybody gets their stuff from them. Contact them, tell them what you'd like to have, let them out into our country and make that. Guys, it never hurts to have some of the OEM stuff behind Sega weapons. I prefer to carry for the future. Quick question on the Magnolia parts before we go any further, too far away from those guys. Real quick, is that an aluminum or... I know you said armory. Yeah, are those aluminum inserts or stainless, or forgive me, or steel insert? Do we know? The adapter that comes in and out is aluminum. It's 4140 aluminum that's been black or blackened or whatever you want to call it. And I'm not sure about the permanent adapter. I'm not sure if it's steel or what. Very good. It's called a B-A-S-T-A-R-D. B period, A period, S period. I don't remember exactly what that stands for, but that's what he's got it. That appears to have a wrapper on it or a supplemental trigger guard? Right, that's what makes it permanent. It has a trigger guard and an adapter all fit in. Very good. Now that again is well permanent. If you're going to adapt the weapon accordingly on the SEGA rifle that would not be a problem. If you're going to commit to him, commit to him. That would be fine. Then what you do is take the other SEGA mags you have and give them to the guy that doesn't have the conversion. Or you can put them on eBay or whatever and sell them. What about even give them to a friend? Well, I'm saying but I'm saying you need the money you can always sell them right though You'll get your money's worth out of them. They will be able to change the reason I bring that up is because again, that's not a bad solution and looking at $90 a unit right now. They're on special. That's the 50% deposit required and that's no big deal. Come on guys You're what but once you're done you're done and that's that would make for a very unique write-up. I'm sure surprised. You know, shotgun news by the way was down in the, they're always down in Knob Creek. If everybody doesn't know if you want a free copy of Knob, shotgun news, drive down to Knob Creek and go to the machine gun shoot. Okay, so that's awfully expensive for a free magazine, right? But it's a newspaper. However, they are doing, they've been doing for quite some time excellent write-ups and articles on weapons and equipment. And something that needs to be done is an extensive write-up on these adapters to include a good photo essay. something to consider, guys. Because we can get this thing in motion, we can promote the company, we want to see them produce more, we want to see them up and online. You make it happen. Spread the word. Shocking news is probably a good choice. I think I'll give you guys a ring. I've got to talk to them anyway. I had a chance to talk to them just a moment or two down there, not as long as I wanted. And let them know about advertising with the Liberty Tree radio. And in the process, of course, maybe we advertise with them. You never know. I think we will. In fact, be able to, because it would be a tit for tat thing. Interestingly enough, they would be one of the directions I think to go that would be more people than any other single shooting publication out there right now. Because a lot of people are taking shock of news for that reason because it's become an actual publication slash information magazine. Part of the reason guys is there's so much less available in the inventory. As far as what's available to actually purchase in the way of shooting supplies. Everything is a ghost. I was doing a survey today. I gotta mention this before we leave the top of the hour here. Guys, I've gone through and been trying to spot check for small arms, especially handguns, for a reasonable price that are out there and there aren't any. Cheap or inexpensive handguns just simply are gone from the market. They're not out there. So if you see something and it's reasonable, enter the yard sale or whatever, if it's something that might need a little work and you know you can get parts for it, grab I don't see things getting better on the horizon anytime soon. I am curious about another thing. We went right down to the old list. FIE, for instance, Rossy. Where did these companies go? Where did their imports go? Because I'm very, very curious about that. These companies fit a certain niche for lighter firearms or smaller arms that were available. They have simply disappeared from the market. That's got me curious in and of itself. Not because of Romania to put them out of business, that didn't happen. Not because of surplus, coming to the country to put them out of business, that didn't happen. They didn't have that particular niche. Example, Rossi was getting into stainless. Except it was really doing a fine job. Be quite honest, those Rossi J-frame, four inch or five inch, they're a little copy like a cheap version of the Snake Charmer, the Diamondbacks. uh... like always to make they're making an expensive variation on that nice little thirty eight special very comfortable for the ladies but little more energy there because of the longer barrel they had a j frame with a three-inch that separate separate you'll again double action j frame you know revolver uh... where they go to magnum get a little down yeah perfect little handguns camp guns that are ideally suited for you know the kind of mission open up and sit weapons but they're good enough for personal defense to put a hole in someone it looks like it's going to threaten you and do a good job of it but they've disappeared from the market and uh... while what you're saying about price i just wear your kit co seventy three dollars and ever seen gold that high like the evaluation the currency which is the only consideration is that people are not wanting to really move into the american dollar in the industrial and uh... and that's something to think about llama and is another one and star Both companies are out there for a long time and I want you to do a sweep. Guys, do a check. Look to see what's playing around out there. What's really fascinating to me is people are not coming off of their weapons either, which I expect. That's not a surprise for me. But it's interesting in that I think the bad guys figured, well, people will start dumping, filling the blank. Just to reverse, there are massive waves of these stars and llamas that came out in whatever configuration. They're not on the tables for sale, they're not at the gun shops, they're not out there in any place where they can just reach out and grab them and count for them all, which means they're still out there with the troops. That's a good sign. But also again, if you do have those weapons and you have for instance any of the unique star models of 9mm in their DAs or BAs or BDs or whatever, magazines. If you can't get any more of the weapons, buy mags. and do that now remember to get your mag inventory up to a specific level there were some beautiful forty five uh... a c p commanders and brigadier's and such it were made by star they're good weapons uh... some of the with the first of the staggered magazine forty five a c p pistols guys uh... they're not cheap anymore but if you look around you'll find mags still weapons themselves are not available but the mags are on the shelf and Whatever is there is probably all that is going to be there that is left. You may find aftermarket or a few good mag companies that have been out of business now for quite some time. Their mags are still out there floating around. Either aftermarket or factory, either way start collecting the mags. Because once the weapons have dried up and the parts inventory over a period of time you think well it is always going to be there. No it is not. At least somebody said that so we will warn you later on. George, I think we have George. He is getting to work because he is switching off the station there and taking care of that. We still have Marcus with us. We've got credit to be coming up next if all else works well here on the Liberty Tree Radio Network. God bless the Republic. Death to the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're on the march here today. And I'll tell you what, with our Sega converters and AR-15 mags chugging away, pop, pop, boom, boom. Thank you, Marcus. Where have all the military surplus stores gone? Don't worry, you don't need one, because ev-
