of those games to minors. The laws do not restrict sales to adults. The video game industry is trying to wrap its evil product in the First Amendment because the industry does not want any reduction in the enormous profits that come from sales to kids. A case involving this issue is now before the U.S. Supreme Court. The game industry is asking the High Court to create a new type of free speech that would make it impossible to put any limit on this corruption of children's minds and morals by selling them these violent video games. If the industry loses this case, it could lose billions of dollars in future revenue. One commentator described that outcome as apocalyptic for the industry. Eleven state attorneys generals signed a friend of the court brief on the side of California to stop the sale of violent video games to children. Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Texas, and Virginia. Other state attorneys generals seem to be hoping the voters won't notice their failure to act. They may care more about getting big contributions than upholding their campaign promises. Money talks and the video game industry has mega bucks to lobby and motivate politically ambitious officials. The California Supervising Deputy Attorney General defending the law, limiting sales of violent video games to kids, said, it's our understanding that there's a pretty intense lobbying effort by the video game industry. Families should make clear to their own public officials that the voters will hold them accountable for what they do about this problem of filling children's minds and memories with images of gory criminal actions. Now today, you make $1,300 a week, $1,300 a week, you might be somebody out there listening, but here's the problem with going into gold now. You can't do it and it doesn't mean you should go down, the economy's in the toilet, it's gone, it's not coming back. Back when it was $230 an ounce, how much were you making in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996? How much were you making a week? A lot more than $230 a week in many cases, weren't you? Back in that period of time, balance between the dollars available that you could spend as a side note, depending upon the little side jobs you did or projects or table scraping money you saved up from. You burnt that into gold back then at $230 an ounce and you went just reverse of you like cool i took a bunch of junk turned into some gold and i put it on the shelf they took a bunch of junk i bought a big pile of silver and i put it on the shelf for two dollars and thirty cents an ounce do you make thirteen hundred dollars if you were if it was an inconvenience could do it back in the nineties now gold is thirteen hundred dollars an ounce for your paycheck some cases might have been all your paycheck okay but only one week's worth today while your pay has not gone up has it your pay is in fact in many cases you're doing two jobs you're not making as much Now gold costs of pay. Going on 4. Make per year. It was you that not only has it appreciated constraints, gold didn't change. When I put an ounce of gold on the shelf, I didn't put any gold, silver, but I didn't put any gold. Let me have a few pieces. You know, different times, different... When you think about it, look at it this way. Okay, the... Not only did it not change, but silver and gold would never change. So you buy an ounce of gold that sits on the shelf and stares at it. Lock it up, put it in, bury it, come back, dig it up, put up all the boxes. Guess what? It takes $1300 to wipe your hind end and settles to buy the same... Translate it. This is the big advantage, what I tried to explain to people. FRNs, that's the whole idea. They're pillaging the village, okay? Not for you because, you know, the indebtedness can't be fixed with more indebtedness. If you, any time you need to re-sort it out, you'll get a set amount of FRNs or yen or China. Translation is consistent. If you did what we were telling you to do, 10, 12, and you just kept putting it on the shelf because the rule is this, we weren't buying it to invest and play their game, not the way they're playing the game. See, they're logic is you're gonna buy a pile of silver. People used to do this all the time. The enemy would manipulate the gold and silver market and you'd go, oh, oh, I gotta make 10 cents on my coins. Meanwhile, they made dollars. Instead, what we were trying to tell everybody to do, and I would say, listen, a lot of them are smiling right now because there are people that are long-time listeners that did just exactly what we're talking about. They have preserved the other paper affordability. Now today, $20 an ounce, $30 an ounce for silver because that's really the reality is we don't know what the market will bear is what it's actually selling for even right now are nothing because these are not future prices. Futures are white in paper that does not invest in gold and silver. I was buying over the futures. I say you have nothing. And guess what? There's nothing, nothing, nothing in here in your future. They lied, lied, lied, lied, lied. You're screwed, screwed, screwed, screwed. On the other hand, if you bought it, got about it, you were doing two stuff to America. Number one, you were pulling out one person going out and doing that. Or the Hunt brothers, who actually, that's what the Hunt brothers did back in the 70s. They went out and they bought up all the gold and sold it away, and that's why the price wasn't that much out there. As soon as they sent 10 purchasing agents out to the 10 regions, and they didn't tell each one what they were doing, they just told each man individually, go buy silver. And they kept rotating the wealth and buying the silver, selling the silver and buying it back and selling it. silver and buying it back and eventually they accumulated it. They shifted the wealth. They showed how power and gold are. Yeah, that works. Instead of us trying to do that because you see they, what they did, attacked the Hunt Brothers to try them because the Hunt Brothers weren't ring-knocked. We need to do and what have we been doing instead. They can't attack tens of millions of them. Here's the thing, if every one of you out there just kept buying gold and silver, everybody who bought an ounce of silver or a quarter ounce of silver or whatever just keeps putting. And we are going to have to have the infrastructure, a part of it, not all of it, but a part of it in place so that we at the people level, it cannot happen from above. What happened once everything is adjusted to where it should be and the world changes? than that silver dime or that silver quarter of value. Even the estimation on how we're going to exchange silver and gold is going to change, but it's not going to change. It's dictated by the market, how we adjust down and ratchet back to common sense. That's long term. In the initial phase, guys, we've got to have solutions. I'm not asking you to buy a fortune. I'm asking you to just keep investing. Have a schedule in general, which has to do with tools, and we don't have to wait to figure out It's like in the road where he's straining it out through a rag, the water, coffee filter, and blah blah blah because he just had, well of course he had to, everything was destroyed man. Well with everybody dead the way they were, there's a whole lot of stuff laying around and most people wouldn't have a clue what the hell a burky water filter is. A coffee pot and they wouldn't have any interest in the coffee pot and nobody would have any interest in the burky water filter. Seriously, if they got that bad, when you see the movie The Road, everybody, that's the worst scenario played out to the extreme. That's gotta be out of your mind. Solutions, dude, that's American. We came from so many different points of the compass with a can-do attitude. People left their place where they lived with absolutely nothing, took whatever wealth they had, translated into something they could carry, tying them down and built for themselves. Not expected the system to, there's tax-free, all these other parasit- the parasite wave we got coming in now isn't thinking that way. What could the government give me? That's the attitude they've got from them, that socialist thing. You're going to have to decide where you want to be on this. And again, mindset is the key to that. No, other things happen in here. closing on the silver and gold issue again we told you so we told you so and I'm gonna rub it in again we told you so now even oh somebody's gonna go oh boy it dropped $1,336.46 an ounce gold $130 an ounce minor burps like that are totally irrelevant we're gaining if you were to sell it one ounce of gold right now hell yes bought silver $2.34 an ounce and oh my goodness Silver dropped by 46 cents. We don't care. We're not selling it. That's for the manipulative market. We don't care. We're holding onto and we accumulate gold and silver to deny the enemy. To continue to pull it out of the model, you see the reflected price going up to people. There's the same scenario that played out with ammunition and weapons this last couple of years. And let me emphasize this. I talk to people in the industry from behind the scenes. I go and visit them. There's Michigan that this is what they do for living. They build weapons. they build weapons at the job where and they make parts they've got machines going to be and i thought that they you know be a good idea to get into from the blank it was always if there's been a spirit of the economy was soft two years ago three years ago guys wasn't just now the economy was in horrible condition of the horrible condition has been so everybody was being conservative and so the point i said here's the thing if everybody you know i asked at this point said you want everybody to be into knowing firearms those citizens are supposed to have their supposed to be that right, you have a responsibility. We're okay. Do you think that they should all own firearms? Yes, everybody should be owning firearms and they should have the best weapons. So if today everybody took you seriously, do you have the inventory or do you have the ability to produce what is needed to satisfy the demand? 100 million people all go into brain fart. They don't. They didn't. When ammunition all of a sudden everybody realized, oh my goodness I need fill in the blank. Everybody always says they're gonna wait till the last minute and then they're gonna go out and they're gonna fill in the blank. Fill in whatever. Really? Well as I've told you before many thousands of times on the air here when everybody finally thinks in that mode everybody will be thinking in that mode. First come first serve, catch is catch can. Some businesses like Classic Arms literally sold everything to the floor. They didn't have anything left to sell. They literally were going to shut the doors and just stay quiet for a few weeks. I know this from behind the scenes talking to you. I said, we have nothing left to sell. Whatever they had left to sell were the oddments. Nobody had an interest. They desperately started to scramble up ammunition from wherever they could, even if it wasn't ammunition that was very common or does anybody have any excitement about it, simply to say they had stuff on the shelf. This is recent history, guys. And you know what? All it would take right now to strip the veneer that exists in the All it would take is for the next incident. Plus I need fill in the blank. Or I could just go down to the store and keep... Everybody knows that. But most people don't work the same way. Gold work the same way. Comes down to is if everybody took a true interest, we don't have the production above ground that we need to service the population. Whoever has it actually has greater wealth in hand than they realize. well about what about the ammunition weapons they have a certain thing we told them today start increasing production all the economy's off but they are the other i think i could prepare these guys increase production are you going to wait for about two years although for a table of all but of course he's always banker buddies and stuff like that it's like all okay well pay what they're not in your business in fact they're hoping to take over and steal your business they put on for closing on you they're salivating and rubbing their hands they could do is all these idiots these groups in the industry uh... the retail industry are marking down and or pulling off the shelf their canned good items already lids all that fact marking down fifty week that mark down fifty percent i do not know what the hell who the hell told them this business i don't know but these incompetence have no clue anymore they're letting machines run what they're doing well warning that what's going to happen is it will actually to morning a positive warning can't have counting items lids of preservatives that you want, you know, the different natural ones that are out there that have been made by CERTA for years. You don't want to pick them up now. You're going to want to check the stores. Why? And guys, here in Michigan, we still have green leaves on the trees. The harvest, we're in the middle of the harvest. You don't mark it down now. You'd be marking it down after you sold everything else out. But the doofs have a computer program that's telling them what to do. So I'll warn you, the problem is that everybody's thinking, well, why, oh, big pile of stuff will be out there. That's not the case. The foals, pumpkins, everything else is still coming up. Oh, by the way, and that, thank you, Dan, for that was another thing real quick before the top of the hour. Food dryers guys, food dryers, food dryers, food dryers. You can make them, you can buy them, you do whatever you want. Pumpkin is the cheapest food out there. He goes, okay, well here's what you want to do. You're trying to put food on the shelf. You're telling me you're poor. I don't need any. Oh, shut up. Get yourself a food dryer. Make one. Plywood. Yeah, they're actually running off a little solar panel even nowadays. The point is that you can make up a food dryer and Mr. Pumpkin is your friend. You can make what's called Pumpkin Jerky. Pumpkins are going to be, if not cheap, are going to be free simply because we're getting towards the end of October, well we already know the beginning, but what's going to happen is pumpkins are out there in force. You sliver them, ask us on them, you can put some cinnamon on them. Cabela's out in front of you. You got those big Cabela's by all these pumpkins for just at the end of the year at the end of the season give you pumpkins. They're free fields. Now some of the characters will offer them a quarter of pumpkin. 25 cents of pumpkin is better than getting nothing for it. See how that works? Now you've got food. Oh by the way don't forget you got seed too. Lots of it. Pumpkin seeds. Millions of them. You can either eat them, there you go, dry them, or you can simply dry them, put them in bags, and you'll have pumpkin for next year. Is it exciting? It's as exciting as you are created with menus. Oh, by the way, start collecting recipes. So don't tell me there's some food out there. There's food out there by the ton. There's stuff out there to be found.
