Summary
Mark Koernke discussed Microsoft's proposal for government licensing of internet access, drawing parallels to historical technology regulation patterns (FM radio, two-meter radio, cell phones). He explained how initially free and open technologies become controlled through licensing and commercialization. The show featured extensive discussion of preparedness solutions including military surplus field telephones from SurplusTraders.net, rifle modifications using Lee-Enfield actions, and transportation solutions for supplies. Koernke promoted the upcoming Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot (October 8-10) and provided practical advice for attendees regarding weather, gear, and what to expect.

Live 365. Look, it's not like we're bugging the phones or anything, so give him a call at 922-4457. That's 922-4457. Or visit machinegunshoot.com. It's easier to find than my birth certificate. Dreamed the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and, speaking low to me, he said. We fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold you trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame You've taken Satan's number You've traded in your name You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch him tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free your training and you will come back alive Well good afternoon ladies and gentlemen This is the afternoon intelligence report. I am Mark Kornke, one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines in occupied territories, east, west. And when you're listening to us on LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com, pbn.4mg.com, and we are on live 365, then go to LibertyTreeRadio.com. So on AM and FM micro stations, CB base stations, ultra net technologies both east and west of the Mississippi, along with southern and central Alaska. We're in the hallmark network on the eastern seaboard from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico headed towards Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma. Oh! Let's see, big chunk of Wyoming, the third of Wyoming. Don't forget Nebraska is in between there. Then of course back over to Iowa slash Iowa. Hey to our farmers out there. Some of them are just farming station FM's, which is really cool. So you guys out there listening to the tractor, you think we forgot about you or didn't know about you? Oh, we know all about you now. So I want to say hi to all those guys out there pulling those 14, 16, 20 bottom plows right now. Actually, you're harvesting right now. Not doing too many plows, but you know, too much plow work. But they're definitely out there with the machinery. So for you guys out there working hard harvesting, you be careful. Pay attention because you know that farm machinery, most dangerous industrial tools in the United States, doesn't mean we don't want you to stop farming. Hell no, we just want you to be careful and get home safe. So pay attention. When you've got something that's a problem, shut it down. Stop, shut it down, stay calm. you're going to make production either way don't get exacerbated anyway then back over the mississippi gold spike project cost a whole the smokey's the blue ridge that's right for the restaurant crew the gravity was the ok teams along with our mob bell grammars up in uh... cleveland ohio in the cleveland ohio area was a high to all those retirees pitching in to help out with our replacement for the internet some really cool innovative ideas actually about 50, 60, 70 years old, because they knew about all the old tricks back when they were in the business. Really cool, we got a lot of people pitching in there from another direction, doing a great job, a lot of retirees. Anyway, it is blue skies outside. It was blue skies this morning when we did the Intel report. It's still blue skies and clear out there today. Medium temperature, it's fall, the leaves are turning, our Alpine flies, Russet colors, right now especially, you are the predator during the day, not just at night. dollars are blending in so well it's scary most people are going wow I didn't know that worked that well yeah well see we told yourself anyway it is 7th of October 2nd year of Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K that's right and that means it's 2010 older calendars so you all got to pay attention there's all kinds of stuff going on we're ticking down less than a month for the election guys You know that means the bad guys are panicking every step of the way. Obviously they plan on trying to pull some BS here in the next couple of weeks. It's obvious because we already have all the flags and indicators out there with the scumbags, ADL, Southern Perversion Law, and their influence on their peons at the fusion centers. See, everybody thinks it works the other way out? No, it doesn't. The peons are at the fusion centers and the other place. They're just sucking up to whoever it is and throwing the biggest chunk of money at them and are already bought and paid for by the private operations and the spying agencies from outside the US. That's their purpose. And then they can mislead everybody else. It's like the hourglass routine we've told you about over and over again. Anyway. stuff happened around the country interesting i got a bunch of emails and i guess there's a couple different stories out there about uh... microsoft proposing government licensing of the internet and this coming from some of our friends want to hide a chuck out in seattle and also to our friends in the northern central california appreciate the emails on this especially since you know of course we know the what was silicon valley which is now kind of like you know husk silicon husk valley uh... they don't really build anything there per se i mean think about it guys barely have are they able to think through most things now they're just simply becoming content criss-old and non-innovative parts that are desperately trying to clutch it whatever they can for power that's the only way to describe it but let me point something out and this is licensing internet access now kids i have seen all of this also like an esto bell and red don't i have seen this before in the seven or in the caragua in engolia with a different these are my man Well, actually we've seen this before in the 60s, the 70s, and into the 90s, okay? Every time that technology is brought up in online, guys, it always starts... We all understand that. Always starts out free, always starts out fully accessible, everybody gets to help pay for getting it up on online. And then... Then the parasitic vultures arrive and the control freaks and the little panty-panty-twisters and all the other shicers that are out there, well that's what's happening now. Back in the 60s nobody knew what FM radio was if you don't think so let me point something out go to a car meet and I want you to take a look at the radios and the dashes if the car had a radio because remember that was a special feature He's got a radio. It's a factory radio. We got it from from Ford Ford Philco little Philco radio there if pH I L Co Philco hmm well When those radios were installed, do you see FM in any of them? From the 50s or from the 60s or early 60s to middle 60s? You don't. In fact, if you look at a lot of times, these guys even have the actual stickers that went in the windows sometimes. You know, one in the side window, you walked up and looked at it and it was written out, told everybody all the features of this car. Sometimes it said with or without radio, like without radio. Radio not an option, or radio not available, or whatever. But most of the time it said, hey, I'm radio! And then like in big letters, hey, I'm radio! Ooh, this car's got a radio. Well, later on, eventually, they got the idea to use FM. But where did FM come? It obviously didn't just drop out of the sky, and it wasn't something created by the big boys. Wrong. You know I've told this story many times on the air, but let's understand that Gorilla Radio, Underground Radio, Underground Radio, you always hear about that if you listen to the old, old broadcasts of stuff from back in the 60s or when you read stuff from back in that era. Understand that Underground Radio was not AM radio. Underground Radio was FM, unlicensed, unrestricted, everybody was using it, radio. There's no restriction. But what happened is FM, like AM, FM was completely open inside the band, you know, band here in the US. There's nothing that was restricting it. Nobody could bother it. More and more people were developing all the technology. Hardware was being made available by radio geeks who produced and cranked out boxes so you could add them on to your regular AM radio and you could be listening to FM while you're sitting anywhere. And years ago, back in the back about 19, well, this is 6970, I'm sitting in front of the Nichols arcade down here on State Street in Upper Michigan. friend of mine, he said, I'm going to stop in, there was this band shop, he was going to leave some stuff for his band, he was going to pick some stuff up for his guitar. So he said, can you sit here and watch the car, I'll just leave it running, if you've got to move it, move it, because you don't want your ticket, oh okay, no problem. So I'm sitting here and he just listened to the radio and he turned the radio on and he went left for a while. Well of course it was always supposed to be a minute. And I'm waiting and I'm waiting. And I'm listening to the Moody Blues. Well first of all it's kind of rare to hear Moody Blues on the air because a lot of their music was so long. We received concerts, special concert broadcasts later on that would take place with Pink Floyd or with whoever. And what they meant by that is they played the whole full length album. I'm sitting there on listing and it's like it goes from one song but then it goes into another one. And the quality is really clean. There's no crackle, there's no whisker, there's not a little wisp here and there. What you get used to with AMU, it's like seconders, you overlook it. Kind of like a click on a record when you have a record player. You overlook it for the sound because that's what you're focusing on. But that wasn't here. And I'm looking at the radio and I'm realizing the regular radio is not really on. wait a minute, something's wrong here on the Chevelle. I'm looking at this thing, looking at the car, and he comes back and he goes, oh sorry, he took a look man, I didn't have him cost a lot of his parts for me man, dude, dude, so he jumps in the car and is like, what am I listening to? He goes, oh man, well look under here man, I got this add-on box from Ralph, man, and it's like, you know, dude, he's doing like all these cool boxes, it's FM, and it's like, really? Yeah, FM radio, an add-on box under the dash, right on the edge of the dash. You know, you bolt it up underneath that bolt line, screw line, we attached everything to back in the day from CBs to whatever speakers. Well, here it was, yeah, an add-on FM. And what it was is, these guys, of course, there was a couple of small radio stations. What I was listening to was a station that would be around even until today at WRIF. Although it wouldn't, wasn't called WRIF at the time, because it had no license, it didn't need one. But what happened is this, and it was free, everything was free, and Peter Wervey from W.R.F., who of course, you know, had been, I think he's retired finally, it's 2010, he should be gone by now. But I remember him saying, this is back, all of a sudden he cut in, and this is Peter Wervey, and if you ever hear a commercial radio, you know, on any kind of broadcast here on this station, that'll be the day that I quit. If you hear McDonald's at on this station, that'll be the day that I quit. I guarantee it. That'll be the day that I quit. Well, of course, he's talking about how this is not a commercial station and they don't do that and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and you're gonna hear other ones. Now stop music. Well, 30 years later, McDonald's had coming on the air as the old fogey DJ, as the senior DJ at WRIS. Here's an example. FM, what happened is, some of these guys got bigger and the licensing people showed up. Oh yeah, you gotta make sure the peasants don't speak their mind and heaven forbid that the control freaks didn't have a leash on this. So FM of course eventually was last suited in and the guys that were older and bigger they were coerced into, well if you get a license you won't be pestered. And they got a license. They started out being like just a 10 watt and a 100 watt. And then of course eventually when they got a license, oh they went to thousands of watts and they got into commercials. By the time they were done, FM with all of its broadcasting was just as interrupted and just as commercial as AM radio. Which is what you see today. Now of course they boast about fewer ads. Well fewer ads brings them back to about the first few years of FM radio the way it used to be. But not by much. Okay, in fact, closer to just normal FM with lots of ads. So that shouldn't be a surprise. And now, of course, you have no voice, you have no say. All the stuff is canned from satellite out of Hollywood and absolutely controlled. You won't hear anything other than what they want you to hear. Not so back when FM first came out. Well, now you're seeing that Microsoft proposes government licensing of internet access. Now what do you think that's about? Did I just write the story for you? Now think about this. Microsoft leached off us. Well, Microsoft leached off their, what a bunch of parasites. I mean, again, the process also tried to get rid of all the competition, killing off anybody else that truly would help maintain a free market. And now wants the internet licensed for access. Wow, look what they're going to do for you. Now, in reality, what it comes down to is that the shysters are just like all these other lame, gimp-type producers. What happens is they get lazy. and they become entrenched and then on top of that they run out of ideas. The only thing they have, the only option they have is to try and manipulate power freaks, so you don't think they'll have power to them, power freak them is all you have left. That's where they're headed and what's going to happen if they have their way, but of course now they've tried this before and in some cases even though yes the guys were licensed for that, probably the best example is what happened with two meter radio. You would not be talking on the 800 meg frequencies guys with cell phone had the government had its way way back when back in the 70s and early 80s in that period of time two meter radio and repeater systems of the type you now know as cell towers were all over the country privately built We paid for them regular little guy operators all over the country. I've got three repeaters right here by the way that are two meter and Two Motorola, one custom home built, probably one of the originals that was ever built as far as 2 meter repeaters go. And seriously it is. These repeaters were all over the country and you could talk long distance for free. Most people had a hard time understanding when you say for free. And they go, no how much does it cost? Well it's free. No I mean how much does it cost? It's free. Well I mean what's a toll charge? There are no toll charges, it's free. And the way this worked is that we could use the 2 meters to jump from one part of the country to the other step by step, repeater to repeater to repeater, if we had the codes. And then we could call into a local line and it would be the same as if I was calling and talking to my neighbor just down the street. Difference is I was talking to somebody in Seattle, Washington or somebody in Boise, Idaho or somebody in Albuquerque, okay? Well, what happened is, as soon as they let all of us little peons and peasants help to build this thing up, and a lot of us did soldering for guys who built the equipment, or we helped to install the masks and hook up the gear and the rigs and made everything, you know, put everything where it needed to be, lo and behold, all of a sudden, Uncle Samuel stepped in and they wanted to take the whole shipbang over to a chicken feed and they wanted the whole grid. They wanted all our radios. Now, the only cool thing is back then we still had enough people with some gumption and most of the characters that were in radio at the time usually had some other activity or something they were a participant in. And in many cases they had pretty good jobs. That was back when America still was employed to a degree, although that was the last depression back in the 70s. Their logic was they could hit us at just the right time where everybody would be needing the money and they could force everybody off and nobody would have a clue. Well, it didn't happen. was kept private. The guys kept their radios, the guys kept their repeaters, and the rest of the history there. So they don't win every time. Now that forced the system, now that they understood that, oh yeah, we can figure out how to make it happen because the radio geeks made 2-meter do what they wanted it to do, they had to go to 800-meg to make the rest of the system plug in and to make up their own system. And initially, that's why cell phones were the size of little shoe boxes, you know, bag phones, because the transmitters had to reach to the next repeating tower. And repeating towers were only in certain hub points with larger cities and typically only one repeater at the time. Although eventually they added two, three, four. We now know the rest is history. Now we've got 800 meg dot at all over the country. Not a healthy frequency to have. And then, ah, but here's the thing. They got all of you to help pay for that. Let's go up to the next level of this in the 90s. After they got all of you to pay for all the cell phone towers to get put up, they tried to do it again. Do you remember in the middle and late 90s they wanted to take cell phones away from everybody and make those government frequencies and the repeaters all government operation for police and fire and FEMA and everybody else but not for you? Everybody remember that? Did I have to jog everybody's memory? Oh, so in other words, they came back and tried to do with the eight hundred mag exactly what they tried to do with the tool you know the two-meter radio system back in the day so don't think it was unique or all it was just a one-time deal all know and here's the thing this was all public the eight eight hundred mag y'all cell phones back in the nineties come on guys cell phones of the big thing dot not like their star trek communicators today but still pretty pretty level pretty straightforward systems remember that they are radio phones they're not They're not. Cell phones. They're radio phones. That's why when people talk about the detrimental effect of having one stuck next to your head, well guys, it's a transmitter. And so no matter what, that transmitter isn't just broadcasting whatever its primary frequency is. There are other frequencies up and down the scale, up and down the bandwidth that they actually generate at that most people don't think about and that are just the natural side effect of the transmitter when it's built. Now if that transmitter is a ways away from you and it was operating with the antenna, say up on a roof with a whole bunch of material between you and it, that's not a problem. But when the transmitter is operating next to your head and the antenna is right there which is broadcasting and sending out the signals is next to your head, that's a different story. So everybody goes, oh it's just a phone. No, it's a transmitter. Get that out of your head. Oh, I get away from your head. Well, that's hard to do too. Anyway, it's stuck. If you're going to use it, just remember, it's detrimental. problems everybody knows it everybody knew it before they built them anybody's got common sense knows this too if they've been in radio communications at all on a cell phone it's a radio okay try to make you not think about it's like uh... hope they didn't make you think about it when they came up with them a man a radar range there's another direction altogether a man a radar range well yeah it's on the side of every man a man a radar range reviews for your turn the front door radar range Yeah, where'd they get the idea? Well, that's right from the radar crews microwave cooking stuff on the dishes venture was like hey We can make this a box we can put it inside we can cook things from there and a manna did it That's right. So anyway radio frequencies something to think about there the cell phones that they didn't get them either But remember one of the things that was the critical benchmark for the good trying to go after the cell phones The Oklahoma City bombing takes place and foolishly the Oklahoma Fire Department and Police Department agencies were convinced to go to 800 meg. Now anybody with any common sense would know you don't plow all of your equipment into one channel. You don't push it into one channel because if you do that what's going to happen is something malfunctions, something breaks or something you didn't expect or foresee takes place. All your equipment is down at the same time. Well guess what? They had the Oklahoma City bombing, the Mossad and the federal agents bombed the Murr Building. And then what happened is everybody got on their phone to call their brother, cousin, uncle, sister, sister-in-law, mother, sister-in-law, brother, cousin-in-law, you name it. And you'll remember that even as the bombing took place, they got on national television and every station just about said, please get off your cell phones. The emergency services cannot use their equipment. Please, if you would, please get off your cell phones. We need the space for the emergency services. Why? Because when all those nodes were active, the government phones couldn't, the government radio couldn't get through. Oh, they didn't have any prioritized system. Now that was a push to make it so they could shut you off from the system. That was really what that was all about. So there was more than one reason for a lot of this stuff. And that was the agenda, to try and get the system into the cell phone to network to such a degree that they would be able to bump you off. Eventually they wanted to bump everybody off cell phone. You're going to go back to ground line or nothing. That didn't work out. Everybody was such an outcry and they had so many people stuck to the pass fire they couldn't go that way. So instead they had to go up to 900 meg. 900 meg is even sloppier and has a lot of problems. The 800 meg doesn't have 2 meters still superior to in many many ways over the others right off the bat. But that's another story. Anyway. 900 megas where everybody went, Michigan State Police, 900 meg, a bunch of the others, same situation. If you were a state police or a highway patrol or whatever, that's where they pushed everybody. And the reason? Well, they couldn't do what they originally wanted to, so they had to expand into yet another area of the overall spectrum and bandwidth of radio, you know, the wide many options with radio. And the rest is history. Anyway, I heard a beep, but we have a caller. might just have a patient listen and I understand if we do. Anyway, we are almost at the bottom of the hour. Time now is 5.28. That's right, it's 5.28 in the afternoon, Michigan time. Oh my goodness, it's only 2.28, way out there on the left coast. You guys still got a long ways to go before you get out of work. Oh man, that's not good. Anyway, I wanted to address that. so this whole thing with microsoft because this is not a surprise to me this is just in line with all the rest it's more likely that that is the way they'd like to regulate and they always do they will charge you and charge you and charge you they will tax you off of whatever that is the whole scam that's why the whole stamp tax thing was fought and why they understood they needed to kill it right away or would come back and eat out their substance now get your pen and papers ready got some more solutions for yep on the quad i found some stuff on my quad Now this is interesting and I have not even had a chance to call on this. And you know that on our Quartermaster Friday, BK and myself, we brought this company up several times on the air by name, surplustraders.net. Surplustraders.net. Did I tell you about S-U-R-P-L-U-S-T-R-A-D-E-R-S.net? Well, that's what I'm talking about. Surplustraders.net, traders.net, go to the webpage right now. Now their address is PO Box 276, Alberg, Vermont, 05, 440, and their telephone number is 1-800-341-6468. 1-800-341-6468. 1-800-341-6468. That's 1-800-341-6468. Take the time and give them a call. But first, go to their webpage, although you can call to find out about these. And what you do is go to telephones for sale. Now, they have a number of subjects. For instance, telephone catalog is what they have. And you'll go through telephones for sale. Now, a telephone's wanted or telephone's sale. Now, in this case, you want to buy stuff. So you want telephones for sale. If you scroll down, now, guys, this is a long, all of these are long scrolls. There's so much good stuff in here that you just, you want to sit down and watch for a little bit, read carefully. But right off the bat, if you scroll down, it's the telephones for sale. This is at SurplusTraders.net. A lot of you have been asking about phones, field telephones. Now there's a couple different models out there. The EE8-8 field telephone takes two D-cell batteries. Amazingly enough, they're available here. They have a quantity of these available. These are the older but still not that old. They're canvas bags. Hard to find, genuine US military surplus used. It utilizes two D cells for torque power up to 22 miles. These operate over a simple two wire line. 7.25 x 10 inch canvas carrying bag with adjustable web shoulder strap. Side mount magneto crank supplies ringer voltage. The serial number is MD082. And you have to contact to find out what the price is. I don't have a price there that they're quoting. uh... however you know i mean it's just just look right below here well with little pricey if those are what they think they are those are more than you could be we too much there scroll down a little bit because there's another one that's curious here all the t a three twelve military field phone they have three thousand eight hundred of these available this is the t a three twelve military field phone Hard to find. Genuine TA 312 military surplus used as removed from service. These operate over a simple two-wire line. No power serves guys, they work as is. Does not include headset, wire or cover. We have been offered 3800 sets. Any interest out there, call 514-739-8723. That's 514-739-739-7. 8-7-2-3. That's 5-1-4-7-3-9-8-7-2-3. That's 5-1-4-7-3-9-8-7-2-3. Mix the conditions as far as these go. I did not get a chance to call on these. I would like to have, but I just didn't have the time. If you get a chance, give them a ring. The item number is MDO-83. MDO-83. MDO83. One more time, that's MDO83. If you scroll down on the page, this is about halfway down the page as it's available. There's a picture of them right in the middle showing the handset, showing the box itself, the phone, the way it's set up. You need to check it out. If you're looking for field phones, these do not require any batteries, by the way. This is the model that's very straightforward. cranking, you know, play away you go, click, click, tick, tick, we're there. Would supplement your other phone systems, they will integrate with the others. And could be used for any number of different purposes to include floor to floor or barn to house or whatever you can think of, listening post or security point to house or to structure or to office or whatever. The advantage, you can set up your own closed phone system from everything else out there. Now there's a whole bunch of other stuff that they have at this site. But we've had a lot of people asking about military field phones, a solution. A lot of the stuff that's available here, I am pretty sure that the restaurant crews and the UltraNet and Hallmark people have been taking advantage of because there's a bunch of other technology here that's right in line with what they do and how they're hooking up our replacement for the internet. So this will give you a chance to come up with some ideas of your own. Remember, you can set up your own closed system. That's not a problem. Just going to make sure it's all squared away, ready to rock and roll. This is the way you do it. You have to have a hardware. Now I do not see a listing for wiring, but that doesn't mean they don't have field phone wire available. In fact I'm looking even as we speak here to see if I can find it. I didn't think about that. I was in a hurry here trying to get so many things done before the program. Let's see, telephone cords. Let's see what we have here. Chords are cabling. You never know. We might find something we need right there. I would point out that the standard multi-line telephone cord, you can find 100 foot or you can find 50 foot or whatever sections. That would work just fine for the field phone. It should be able to make that work. So that would be an option for short range. One of the considerations here too, and I'm looking right now, I'm trying to buy myself a few moments worth of time, they do have fiber optic technology, you name it, it's available, whatever you can imagine, we have cords, connectors and wires they have. So it's purely a matter of what can we afford, number one, and what do they have on the shelf that hasn't been scrapped yet. The biggest problem with the copper line and the steel line made for field telephones, it's a big block of metal. People have been pilfering the stuff and destroying it by sending it to the scrap yard guys. It happens just as often as not. Just something to think about. Whenever you're looking at this stuff, just remember that you've got metal moths from all directions that are making stuff disappear now. That is a big problem when it comes to competition. I'm going to look over here on cables. They're a little different there. Well, I see some other good stuff here. You're going to have to go through it, that's all I can say. So one more time. SurplusTraders.net. SurplusTraders.net. SurplusTraders.net. 1-800-341-6468. 1-800-341-6468. 1-800-341-6468. You can call them, give them a call, find out about the phones. I gave you the number specifically for the TA phones. That's a unique contact point. You take advantage of that. And there's many, many, many, many, too numerous to mention. In fact, you have to scroll down very slowly when you go through their listings here, because there's a lot of stuff that you have to read. There's no pretty pictures. It just tells you what it is. You have to call to find out what they've got if you want to find out more detailed information, and you have to do a little bit of work. Congratulations. That's the old school. The way it always has been done in the past is just, well, this will give you the basics. Then you go from there. Also, remember 8, 9, 10, man, we're ticking down the hours right now. I have not had a chance to call the guys down there that are on site at Knob Creek because it's Thursday. They've been setting up and guys have been coming in with trucks and buying pallets and cases of ammo. I know that because I already talked to one person this morning. and confirm that yeah, there were people waiting down there to pick up whatever was being brought in to see what the sale prices are, to see what's going on. I don't know how much has already left, but I do know it's been pretty busy. This is always the case. There's people that already knew that they, you know, they always know every year the guys are coming down. And what they'll do is they just want to make sure they secure their ammo before they do anything else. They're going to be busy for the rest of the weekend. And so they get the ammunition and bulk purchases out of the way right off the bat. and a lot of people have done just exactly that. So, there should be plenty of ammo down there, there should be some unique magazine sale items, there's always some interesting parts, pieces and assemblies. Don't forget Evil Santa is down there somewhere, dude. I'm telling you, you gotta check him out. You got a couple barrels of stuff and whatever's there, including bolt actions that are old receivers and stuff you never know what's in there that could be something to build up to yeah air soccer rifle later talk about her soccer project rifle you want to make that tack drive in thirty thirty air soccer bolt action would be your solution for that guy's not go too far for that matter i would point something else out compare the uh... spec base for a three oh three british rifle and then look at the spec base for the 303 cartridge and then for the 3030 Winchester. The reason I bring that up is because there are a lot of number four infield and smelly infield actions out there. I mean really nice ones too, but they're just, you know, they've got cobbled marks on them, they've been cut, they've been scratched in whatever way. Well, you know what, stocks are available, even plastic for the infield guys. So you could literally switch over to switch an infield action over to 30-30 Winchester. Now you end up with a 10 round magazine. Cool. Try that out. I'll tell you how well the rounds fit. I've never really taken the time to test that out completely, but you're looking at the same base, but you're looking at a much more standardized rifle case in general. As far as barrels go, come on guys. There's a number of different companies that are producing whatever barrel length you want in whatever chain bring you want for whatever threaded receiver you want. You just have to shop around a little bit and amazingly enough you'd be fascinated how cheap they actually are. A bull barrel 30-30 chain ring would be an interesting combination. Comfortable rifle to shoot, heavier barrel on a British Lee Enfield action. Okay, closed stroke, oh yeah. That'd be a very, very interesting rifle to say the least. Another option which somebody was doing here, although I've noticed the company, I haven't seen a contact for them. 45 ACP British Enfields. Now, one of the reasons the Enfield is very conducive to conversion is for those of you who haven't looked at it, the bolt is replaced. Now, this was a very innovative idea. What they have is the bolt faces are actually numbered and they unscrew from the bolt carrier group. So, when the weapons start to get sloppy, instead of going, oh my goodness, we've got to change barrels, oh my goodness, we've got to re-headspace. Instead, they simply torque off, say, a number three, and they put on a number four. Wow! In other words, it's got that extra little bit of oomph to it so that what it does is it tunes the weapon back up without changing everything out. See, nobody really checks into these things. The interesting thing about this is that the Enfields, in fact, back when they came in in a big wave in the 90s, even the spare bolt faces, extra extractors, all the extra goodies came in the armorers kits. And a lot of us bought those up and put them off to the side. This includes replacement blade sights, stuff, all the knick-knack stuff that you need to keep those rifles going. Well, this means that there are a lot of those extra bolt faces out there for speccing to headspace the rifle to dimension for whatever use you're chambering it for. So it's not that difficult really even to switch out once you've got the barrel. uh... to actually do final head spacing on the weapon is purely matter having well zero to i think it's zero to six of how they were on zero to six for the replaceable uh... of both faces and you simply unscrew one screw the other one in and test that without yet that the go there we are more need to be congratulations no other work no other fancy nonsense and the extractor group of words post be everybody's happy quick click boom boom So there's another consideration. And people go, why 30-30? It's because it's so common, people. There are millions of lever action Winchesters and Marlins. And there are other bolt guns that are in 30-30. So that makes that a very affordable case to use. And the more people that buy it, the happier everybody will be. Just keep replacing it. The cowboy guns are still popular pretty much everywhere, not only in the US, but around the world, not just the country. 30 out of 6 most common. 30-30 was the second most common in North America for being able to purchase north of the border, south of the border, and everywhere in between. What do you think? Yeah, it'll work out pretty well. Santa! Watch for him. I give you a big hint. He looks like Santa Claus, except he's evil Santa. He has another bag full of goodies down. Ooh, scary thought there. So I'll tell you what, we've still got blue sky down here. What's it like up there in your neck of the woods? Well, it's that blue sky, great day. Sun will be down in a while. But you know what? I did hear another beep a little while ago. We might have another caller. And who do we have? I think we have friendly listeners, which is quite possible. Anyway, in fact, I'm pretty sure. So again, Nob Creek, 8, 9, 10. Tomorrow morning, the doors open, the gates open. And then the crowds will throng through. If you're in front of them, you'll be stampeded to death. You'll be found ground into the pavement headed towards the range. If you are slow, the slow and feeble do not make it out of the way fast enough. Ohhhhhh! And they'll scream for a minute. No, it's nothing like that. If they were doing anything, they'll be run over by the vehicles before they ever get squashed by the feet. Oh! Did I say that? Yes, I did. Anyway, it looks like our weather report from down there down is supposed to be clear, clear, clear for all three days. so that means beautiful weather down there uh... that i have make sure you bring something away of sunshade for over your head make sure you bring water with you from the great campers right it's going to be exciting to say the least out there for the uh... the time to wrap it up online so all be ready for the near for the camping of again if you get a chance guys uh... one more time for the further surplus traders dot net what surplus traders dot net one eight hundred three four one six four six And then as far as Kanob Creek goes to make sure, 5029224457. You can still give them a call down there. Remember the gun shop's open and they open later, especially during the machine gun shoot. They'll be open until the ranges close themselves. So you can give them a call, find out what's happening. To confirm, there should be plenty of camping space still. As far as I know, I don't think they've, I don't think they've ever filled up completely. I think they've come close, but they can always squeeze another tent in or another truck in here and there. There's a lot of room for camping. In fact, it would be right over there by where the helicopters land for those. You want to take the helicopter ride, you can come out of your tent, walk over to the chopper ride, get in line, jump on the Huey, and away you go. What do you think? Pretty cool. Sounds like fun. Wait a minute, there's a valley over there and there really is. It's a beautiful countryside. So don't forget, bring your camera along. You're going to like take some pictures on the way there, not just once you get on location. Some pretty scenic countryside right there in that stretch of Kentucky. Otherwise, now what's happening up in that neck of the woods, sir? I've been here for a while. I've been listening. running back to communications you guys anytime you can get a radio pairs of radios field phones there are there's hard wire in the ground can see it from space now they can sense it with a couple tell them where your wire is in the ground if you want to live that way well why even they're doing what we're doing but you know you can pre deploy and you can even it doesn't have to be laid in the ground it can be when you've got a couple hundred feet or you know let's talk about about a big, big roll of wire because you want to lay it out for a while. That's a particular area and it can be like this. Here's the guy moving the squad gun and over here's the guy carrying the wire, you know, moving weight back into a particular site where you guys, you can cobble these things up if you want and then you kind of know what you got because you built, you know, if you build it, you're going to build gooey what you need. You really don't have that kind of somewhere you know you can get like put maybe 500 pounds in you guys and that's not an exaggeration you know wagons that the turn because they're set on like a kingpin to the handle and turning a little bit and become kilter and falling over in the same place out on the edges of the axle they turn like the wheels of a car just you guys how about carry all but jb enterprises dot-com I think J and B Enterprises dot-com and see it. 250 to 300 pound capacity you guys. It's three wheels. You can carry it one way, you can carry it the other. Meaning you can like without turning it around, you'll get my drift if you're too well. Again, S&B Enterprises. You might be able to find them at maybe a dot com. But their number is 541-536-7989. 541-379-8. Do this or that, shoot pretty good. repair radios and some of us can lay down that perfectly. Well, if you can't build it, well, there's one prefab and they'll do other things for you with it. Talk about the end and the period of time. It took a little while to make that build up, but when everybody there out, again, if it has to go, it would be good to have a couple of combat engineers in your group, same way. Oh, yeah, actually, we've got different variations of the theme that we've done over the years. One of the things real quick as far as cards go for improvised, I don't think I'll have it done before this weekend, but oh, I got a couple of them ready to go. Little two-wheel draggable golf carts. They're already built up, designed to handle metal in, you know, containers, cylindrical transport containers, you know, golf bags. And with a little modification, they do a real good job of moving stuff in one direction. In fact, there's a couple guys that at the range have actually set them up so that that is how they move all of their equipment. Instead of going golfing, they're going shooting. And I say, nice golf cart there, don't see it. Yes, yes, I know. Hold on, let me break out my M-Madoose iron. Oops, you see. So it works quite well. Again, solutions to the problems can come from a number of different directions. I have no use for golf. It's like, okay, if you do it, fine, but I have no interest in golf. Or I might find something... Right in there with tennis. Yeah, from the golf industry, I might find some stuff useful for our purposes, and sure enough, we have. I'm not sure about using multiple golf bolts and some kind of, you know, say, dispenser of some kind. They certainly would hurt, but they might not be fast enough for what we're doing. I don't know. We'll have to see. Anyway, would they bounce off even at higher velocities? Probably not. If you give it enough velocity, a golf ball just like any other meteor. Painful. What's the diameter of a golf ball? Just a little question. You might find it comes out in millimeters. Not quite 40 millimeter, I don't think. More in the 37 range. It'd certainly go down the bore. That had to hurt. The eye shot with medium or low velocity golf ball. You know, a same with unknown. Oh, we could go over to... People have been killed in America with potato guns, you know, and literally more than one person would be not very satisfied. So is the hunter. Yeah, we've talked about that before. Big chambers with two barrels and not necessarily gasoline, you know, fumes that are highly flammable and putt stuff and everything goes across, everything down the tube. Well, could that be why there are laws... Well, interestingly enough, we still have, again, we've got only about, oh, human here. Oh darn, this hour's almost gone. A couple things to remember here, going down to Knob Creek, because we do have favorable weather conditions, doesn't mean we don't bring along wet weather gear. Make sure to bring a poncho, by the way. Another thing is shade, like booney hat, whatever you can, baseball cap, something. So you got a little bit of sun protection, because it's going to be beaming if it's clear. It's unique weather, to say the least. It can go either way. We've been lucky the last couple of falls in that down there it's been fairly dry. We haven't had any flooding or anything, which is good. And even a couple of springs ago that was canceled, we haven't had a camp. In fact, it's the first time that night Creek was ever canceled in Rio. This was just the last couple of springs. So I don't think we're going to see any flash flooding in the last minutes. I'm not worried about that. The big thing is to make sure you put some good walking shoes on. Remember, you're going to be standing around a lot. There are a lot of things to see, especially the range fire itself. Say hi to Kenny, and if you can, say hi and let him know, hey, you heard about the shoot on the intel report. It does help, guys. Just let him know, oh yeah, yeah, we were listening to the intel report, decided to stop in, check things out. And, you know, really cool, because as you know, we try to repeat it and mention it to everybody in as many ways as we can, as often as we can. Because, I think everybody does, as we discussed, this needs to be able to get to the Knob Creek machine gun shoot at least once in their life. They don't have to be there every time, but you're going to want to get down there for at least one. They pull the ear plugs? Yeah, bring the ear plugs. You will definitely understand that. But it's a very different world when you go to see it as opposed to watching stuff on video guys. A personal experience like that is something that is just fantastic for everybody in general. It gives you a better understanding of how things work and what they do. That way when you got it in front of you and you're squeezing the trigger it will be like, cool I remember this. There you go. Get some. Get some today. Now another thing there about especially picking up stuff guys is don't be surprised if you don't run into some specials you didn't expect because there's guys bringing stuff in there all the time where they've gotten a special package deal on something they bought a ton of. I mean we're talking pallet bins. We're not talking cases or boxes. We're talking pallet bits. So you never know what's coming through the door at the last minute where somebody picked up something and they got a whole bunch of it and they, well, I better get it to Knob Creek, because otherwise I won't sell it fast enough. They want to get it down the road and they want to get it where it needs, you know, where it will be of use. And that's why they're, you know, they're going to bring it to the show. Make sure you got a little extra space and something to transport stuff with. It could be kind of heavy, depending on what it is. Maybe a guy walking in with a whole bunch of magazines. Because he made a deal at some warehouse that everybody forgot about and he just happened to know where that watering hole is and he's going to pass the deals on to everyone else down there, which is Clark. Yeah, when that happens, that's a good thing. We like that. We'll take advantage of that. Hell, even if he was a government agent, we'd do that. Kind of a tongue in choke cheek, you know, tongue in cheek joke, yoke, choke. And the reason we say that is because of course they've tried it different times to get warm and fuzzy to people by offering what have become ultra-lutacrous deals. Well, you know, it's like somebody said, well, you know, that guy has a whole bunch of Ruger 10-22 mags and he's got a whole bunch of them and they're so cheap nobody else has got them for their price. Well, good. Let's just grab all they are. Well, he could be a fed or something. Good. **** them all and drag them all away and make them disappear. Oh well, stick it. We'll be using them. We'll be using them soon enough for personal defense anyway. Not a problem. Just don't say anything to anybody, just don't talk to anybody, just buy up the product. Get it out the door, head on down the road, get it to where it needs to be and don't tell them where you're from, tell them just reverse. You're Schmittlappberg, you're Albuquerque, New Mexico. If you want to look for me, I'll be out there in New Mexico. That's the way to work it. Anyway, here it be, who do we have? I'm plugging now because we are at the top of the yard. I expect to hear the music any moment now. There we go. See, almost like I knew what was going on. Anyway, first hour is already past, it's been pretty busy. Again, guys, with all of these electronics companies, there's always more there than you can imagine. You never know what you're going to run into. So you want to take the time, check them out, go through what they have on the shelf, and then on to other things. But www.surplustraders.net, surplustraders.net. God bless the republic.
