Mark Koernke discussed antenna installation techniques with caller Mike from Ohio, covering CB and ham radio antenna placement on the same pole using antenna switchers and dampening methods. The show featured extensive discussion of surplus military equipment purchases, including fiberglass mast poles available through Valley Recycling on eBay for $7, and support rings from eBay seller Hoser Man. Koernke addressed issues with mail delivery and UPS theft by federal agents, shared anecdotes about property acquisition through tax sales and sealed bid auctions, and promoted preparedness through food preservation techniques including pickling, drying, and foraging. The episode concluded with recommendations for surplus electronics from SurplusTraders.net, camera systems from Super Circuits, and Tesla-based free energy technology using crystal radios and copper wire antennas.
Live 365. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torture freedom burning bright. As Iowoki vanished in the mist for whence he came, his words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now his parents trampled each God-given right. We only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? By the way, congratulations to the Grandma Cruz and the OK teams for their effort and the restaurant crew, of course. Beep, we have a caller. Who do we have? Mike from Ohio. Hey, Mike, jump in there, sir. I've got a question about putting up antennas. Would it be too much interference on each other to put like a ham antenna and a CB antenna on the same pole? Well, that's a good question because the CBs are pretty dirty with regard to harmonics. I've done it both ways. The big thing is that what you'll do is make your switch, you're switching one down and turning the other one on. That can be through an antenna switcher down below. A lot of guys do that. I can show you a tower right now that's probably got every conceivable antenna on it that's one of the highest points over here in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. He doesn't make any bones about sitting up his 2 meter right there with all of the 10 meter and everything else in between. He's got long man too, a little bit of everything, wires in all directions. The most important thing is obviously you're not going to be running them simultaneously. The other thing is with a switcher is that you're taking and breaking the load trip, the energy coming back down the line. Because CBs will do that as it is, as you probably know. You can be running a CB on the roof and you'll be hearing it through the magnet speakers in the room below if you've got it on the top of the house. That happens. Again, that's purely a matter of how much pressure you know how much energy you're pushing through that antenna right off the bat if you're just using a standard cb base maybe with a limited linear again biggest consideration is do you have everything shut down with the other equipment when you're you know when you're operating because you want to be selectively moving back and forth between the two now doesn't mean you can't run both i've seen that happen because we run cbs combined when we do the uh... ham fest at night or should see the Liberty Net on the weekend and they're all in close proximity but there's some dampening and there's some other work that can be done to shunt some of that from being fed over from one frequency to the next. Sometimes what you do is you run a secondary line, it's not a ground line, but what it's going to do is it works as a sink to help pull some of that energy off the line so it doesn't feed back down and become part of a background loop inside your machine. just a secondary line running perpendicular and nowhere basically, but not grounded out, just simply floating. I've used that trick before. Actually, it's part of antenna theory, one of the variations on what you can do. It depends, are you looking at a tower like a tri-mast? Well, there's an individual that's got these fiberglass mass support poles on EJ. So the price is right. So I ordered those, it's like $7 to get 12 of them, the four foot sections, and that comes in a bag. So I ordered that to see what the outfit's going to be like and stuff. So I figured, you know, for $7 and it's about $19 for shipping. Hmm. Of course, more for shipping than for the actual cost of the equipment. Yeah. So, but I think even for that price, you know, a lot cheaper than steel. Yeah. Yeah. And, um, it would probably be better than plastic. Uh, you know, they were made for the military, I guess. So that'd be one way to go. Is it older surplus or are these a new item? Is this surplus that somebody's because there are several different, I've noticed, uh, man, I was, I wish I had grabbed them from Sturm at the time. One of the companies, they had, uh, the, uh, AM long band antennas with the mass and everything reasonably priced. The system is not outdated because everybody is using pretty much every piece of radio equipment that has ever been built of its military. One government or another and one military and another are still using pretty much everything that is out there. What we call citizens band and other next to the wood are actually military frequencies. That is another reason to consider taking advantage of a lot of the surplus like that. If you find that it is either a new construction, maybe it is an XM. A lot of times they produce a model, as I mentioned before, and this is true of radio, this is true of transportation or weapons or anything that the government built. Say we'll do an XM and test the system for a period of time and then look at it and go, okay, how do we need to tweak this? Well, we want to change this, we want to fix that, we may add these items. So that's the only reason there might be a change in the model. But if it's surplus and it's, you know, even if it's older, typically the stuff has never been used. So little used that it's like new anyway, which is pretty cool. So sort of looks like it says new other C details, but um This looks looks pretty new to me And what they show the bag it comes in supposed to be waterproof. It looks good It doesn't look like it's been used. Tell you to just probably stored I figured I'd get a set of these and try them out. See how they are Well, that would be interesting. Is it a freestanding mast? Is it a mobile or is it supposed to be fixed and permanent? It comes in four foot sections. You just slip them together. So it's a mobile. This may be what I was looking at before. You can take advantage of it. I grabbed those because your tax dollars at work for a change actually got something back on it. Yeah, I mean for $7 and $18.96 for shipping here at Ohio from New York. I mean that's not bad. So, yeah, I might order another set. You know, so, you know, at that price you can't beat it, so. Well, I'm fascinated, is it okay? It comes self-contained. Does it come with legs or does it come with guy wires? No, it doesn't come with that. It just comes in the bag. Okay. But is there a picture of how it's deployed? No, they just show you how it just slips together. Interesting. I guarantee if you can get the number of the nomenclature, you'll be able to find a picture of how it's to be employed, how it was originally being deployed when the time comes. A lot of them, even though they're not very big, really, they still went with guy wires a lot of times. Most all the equipment that we hooked up or we set up when I was working with training some of the units, the 1-5-6 signal, There are some that have a tripod base very large and then they still use guy wires for supporting to stabilize the antenna so there's no wobble or wiggle. You might get more than just those fixtures, you'll probably get the rest of the assembly there too. You'll be able to tell real quick how they planned on how they planned on. and pieces so you can put guide wires on the round support for the guidelines. So I ordered one of those. He's got a set of four with rings and stuff on it so you can hook your wires. So that was like $18. I forget $5 shipping. So I figured for that, you know, you just slip those on as you put your pipes together and that got you, you know. your brackets. Right. You can go with a flat base and go with guy wires to support it. If there's a fixture, you could go, like you said, cement a rod in, put it right over the rod or the rebar or a pipe, whatever iron pipe might work size-wise. You don't need nothing really too long. If you've got a piece of scrap pipe, it'll fit on there. Even if it's just a little loose, you've got your guidelines. It's just to help support it, to keep it... steady right there at that, you know, pulse. So I was thinking that would be too hard to do. Yeah, I figured, you know, for that price, I won't have to screw around looking, trying to haul pipe, plastic pipe and stuff. This looks like it might be sturdy. It looks pretty good. Well, plus, you know, like you said, fiber body, it might mean any number of different combinations of how you build it. Heck, it might be graphite could be... It could be fiberglass base, but it may be fiber resin, fiber graphite resin could be any number because they've experimented with everything. The stuff works. Like you said, most of the stuff I've seen, it's never pulled out of the box. They never employ everything that they've got in the inventory. Usually one rig gets pulled out, almost always it's the closest one to the door. Everything gets grabbed that goes with it. Sometimes they grab spares, most of the times they don't. So the rest of the stuff sits there on the shelf virtually new or like new and then eventually it's like, oh we have the new XL3449-6 stroke 7 model. We need to change that out from the stroke 6. Oh okay. So they pull it all out, they send it to property and they dispose of it there. So it's probably the case, in fact it's more likely to be quite honest on top of everything else, this stuff probably came as surplus from overseas because they would destroy it here. That's a sad part, but that's a fact. So it's interesting that you have the... Well, I don't know if you want to give that out because people might start grabbing them until you get yours. I was checking out ham radios and stuff. I just typed in ham radios and I think it was just down the page a little bit and I've seen them. I just might go ahead and order another set just before everybody grabs them. It's Valley Recycling. It's ValleyRecycling.com or .org.net. He's selling them on eBay. That's what he's, the seller's info. That's interesting. I'll have to take a look at those as quick as we can because it may also be compatible with other units that we already have. Just another consideration. Like I said, I found that other guy had those support for the tie-downs, for the wiring. So I ordered one of those sets. So I figured I got everything. You could use these for tents, too. They just slip together. I bought one of those Russian tents from Maine military and they got steel poles. You know, in the pack of poles it's like 65 pounds by itself. So something like that. 70 pounds for the tent, 75, I forget. They were really close to each other. So that's quite a bit to be falling around. Once they're together though, it'll stay together though. Keep that in mind. Put those in the truck or pre-deploy them somewhere else. That's the thing. Well, where I'm at I don't know of too many places. I do need to move stuff out of here and have it. I was thinking of seeing if I can find me a real cheap piece of land up there in Michigan like an acre. Well, I'll tell you what, I have found places as little as $3,000 to $4,000 right now, even with little buildings on them. If you view Craigslist, even if you look at Craigslist, that's not even the best place to go. Amazingly enough, there are a lot of things tucked away in corners here and there that, you know, the whole area of every state, it's not just Michigan, every state, even right there where you are, I guarantee if you look around out in the boondocks, you'll find a nice piece of real estate right there in any number of locations that's not too far away, but away from the cities. I've always argued why not watch for the third or quarter or half acres that are out in the middle of nowhere where there is a section and they are usually sold as tax sales by the state. Nobody has owned them for years, nobody has paid the taxes on them and they go from $60 to $80 to $100. And when you're done, taxes are a whopping like $25 or $30 per year. Well, I know Lucas County, they auction off the property they take from people from taxes. So you just, you know, they always get more than what the taxes are owed on it. So let's say there's $6,000 or $10,000 on a property. They'll probably sell for $30,000, $35,000. It all depends what's on it, too. The thing is, also watch because you may have a state recovery system, you may have a state system, we have every year, actually every six months, they print a paperback for the southern part of the state, the middle part of the state, and the northern part of the state. You can get this sent to you and it shows every parcel that has lapsed. Now, in most cases, I mean segments, it can be, like I said, it's liver land or a whole section and everything in between. But, price-wise, it's bid. And a lot of the stuff, especially now, there's nobody out there bidding on this stuff. There's just nobody showing up. It's kind of like a lot of the locations. And that's a sealed bid thing where you just mail in what you want to bid. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, oh well. I used to do this with donut of destruction and GSA auctions all the time and I would get vehicles left and right where I'd put a bid in for $35, $65, $35, $45, $27.50. And if I got it, fine. One time, unfortunately, I got about 28 cars. So I had to do a lot of work and really scramble. Fortunately, they gave me, because I had so many, they gave me more time to move stuff. But it was sedans, vans, cubed vans, pickup trucks, M80s, M7-15s, you name it. We had a little bit of everything. And got them all moved, pretty much. But I was one of those, uh-oh, you know, I just did a random series of bids and I just hit it right because nobody bid in that auction. Hardly at all, there were a few other things that went, but they weren't even the best items. I got all of the top of the fleet and got it for a little of nothing. So it's cool to bid on stuff like this because you never know. I mean, hey, maybe they'll get more than one piece of real estate for $60. On the other hand, if you don't get it, what do you have? A few seconds worth of filing the paperwork, you know? This is not a big deal. So, I mean, it would be an idea. You might want to check with the state house, not just the township and the county. Each state's different. Your state may be very different. Michigan, of course, is notorious for doing strange things. But it's something that most people don't even know exists. Unless you ask for the information, they don't send it. As is always the case, but first of all you've got to know that it's even there. And they don't make a great effort to let anybody know because obviously there are people that are in the system that use the system to acquire property. It's what they do. They hate it when us crazy, strange people show up and we outbid them. And we don't get too flustered either way if we do or don't get it. That really bothers them. You mean you're not angry? No, not at all. Don't worry. I'll get some next time. What else you got for us? Anything else exciting? I'm just hoping that the people listening will buy up these poles that need antennas. They want to put them in storage somewhere so when they move out or if they have to buggy, they can have them in place already for their retreat. Exactly. And they're at their home too. It doesn't cost much and you can have the stuff pre-deployed. It's also pretty reliable as far as storage potential because it's not a metal. You're looking at a fiberglass-less resin. This is easy to store, handles moisture. And when you're done, when you deploy it, it's going to be very durable in the field, which is the other half of the battle. It can handle the environment. It's middle spec, which of course sometimes is good, other times it's not. But in most cases, especially communications, you get a pretty good plus plus situation out of that. As far as material and equipment, it's useful and reliable. So take advantage of what we can. Go ahead and give the information on, do you have all the data right there for where to go to get ahold of these things? Yeah, on eBay. If they don't remember... I was going to give out this other guy that I got the rings from. Oh, go ahead. He's under Hoser Man. He's got the rings that you can put on there and stuff so you can tie them down. You get four rings and some, let's get what these are, what they call these. They're a link, but you screw the nut on to close it. You get what... 9 of those no 12 you get four rings for $20 1995 $5 shipping so you can find that on eBay and Like I say the other the poles you just go the ham radio if you don't remember the other person's I found them so Valley recycling and We can you know buy muscles poles up you can use them for tensor to hold up tarps or or anything like that. We only like two and a half pounds a piece, something like that, two and a quarter. Use your friendly positive, too, guys. Usually the instructions are right there stitched right into the carrying bag. So pay attention and watch to see what you get. Because it's like on the tents. Most people don't realize that if you want to understand how to put the tent together traditionally, at least with the GPs, small, medium, and large, and even it used to be even on the pup tents, they used to actually have a diagram in cloth. showing you all the different ways to set up the tent, the official way and then the supplemental way, even to building a 2x4 frame. So again, radio rigs, usually it's the same thing. If you get a bag or a carrier, it will actually show you what it is that the thing does. That's an instructional or tutorial running on the canvas, usually done in like a white canvas. or a white cloth that's plasticine so that it doesn't break down. And you look at it and go, oh, that's what these do, or that's what these are attached to. Then you'll have a better understanding of where they came from. Anyway, they're very good. Anything else? I was just wondering if you, I think you said something about that you sent my marksman book out. Oh yes, matter of fact, let me double check that because it's right. I ordered one a few months ago and I didn't get it but I got all my other buckets. but uh... i ordered another one you know donation will be able to be have a missing i need to know that's the thing because we do have stuff that you know those m i a it doesn't mean we didn't ship it it's typically what happens to the back of all of the same time somebody uh... part of what it was there were decided like the work of the other one well if you'll notice i usually double pack everything to you probably got you saw their how usually do all I mean, they're rather robustly packed in on an average. Every once in a while, maybe somebody else helps out and they kind of slip them into the envelope. But if you do that, you can see, I'm looking at one right here right now, and if you press, I guess you can actually read with it and go, oh, I think I want that, which of course is hopefully not the case. But it's kind of like what happened with Arizona militia. You know, about one third of the stuff everybody was sending down there, the member in the last month was not getting there. Well, what that tells me is, two out of three shifts were friendly, but the third person running that sorting point or whatever was a dingleberry. Intentionally misdirected. Most of it got there, but part of it didn't. People got it back. I got one package back. Other people got a bunch of packages back where they sent them down there, and it's because of somebody with an attitude. They knew where it needed to go. They knew what the correction was. And obviously, the other, like I said, 66%, 70% went right to the doorstep where it needed to and got picked up. So post office is not like it used to be. In fact, most everything, as you can imagine, is not like it used to be. Between the police state skunks and the spy wannabes, and then you've got thieves, and then you've got Most people try to just do their job, which I think is half the battle. You can't be sure. UPS has the same problem. I dealt with UPS, a lot of people from inside UPS, and they would tell you all kinds of horror stories. The Denver office is the worst blasted place to have to ship stuff through, not from, but if you go through Denver, the largest clique of thieves in UPS have been right there in Denver over and over again. part of that being the government. They are government thieves or thieves that know how UPS works. They get a big thing going in Denver now. That's probably where they are hanging out there looking to tell for what they can. Well, we had it happen right here. I try not to use UPS for anything if we can help it. There are other companies, but we had an in-law who worked at the UPS office in Lansing. The feds were given, the UPS is trying to suck up so badly, they even give the feds UPS jumpsuits, UPS jumpsuits, jump outfits. These characters had no clue. They would actually be putting stuff on, pulling it in the parking lot, putting the uniforms on in the lot. Then, you know, walk in and they would just take anywhere from two to five hundred packages, just randomly rip them open and steal whatever was inside. Now, that's not somebody said, somebody heard. That's what everybody in that UP office knew, and that's what the Feds been doing, not just in Lansing, Michigan, but all over the country for years. They would come in every day that they came in. They would literally just grab boxes. Nobody could argue with them, and there was no warrant. There was no excuse to go after this. If it was money in there, they'd steal it. If there was anything that was priceless or valuable, they would steal it. And they'd end up with this pile of damaged and ripped open boxes in the middle of the UPS sorting floor right where the trucks are loaded. And they'd arrogantly walk away, ha, ha, ha, and then UPS, of course, then all of a sudden you get informed, but your package got broken into. Your package got stolen. Then UPS would have to bite the bullet, which means UPS insurance is what was paying for all this. This is firsthand from a person who is not in the Patriot effort. He just worked for UPS. He was one of several. They stood right there and watched he swine do this every day. You can see they'd find cash, or they'd find somebody's watch, or they'd find an antique. They were stealing everything. And this was FBI. These were day after day after day. That's first person. And I couldn't mention the exact relationship before. But this person is somebody we've known for a long time and kind of like in the family. So it's not like we can deny them. They were disgusted because they didn't believe it. It's like I tell them about stuff like this and they're like, oh I don't think they do that. Only to have them show up at his workplace. So UPS especially, they tried desperately to be liquid toilet paper for the Fed on a regular basis. So it's not a mystery, it's not the UPS gremlins. Well, maybe UPS gremlins, the deeds, but that's a different story. Anyway, let me check. I'll look to see if we've got a package that came back. I don't think so, so we're going to have to ship another one anyway. Well, I ordered one just about a week ago. Yeah, I know. I've got that one right here. As a matter of fact, at least I got the sheet right here. I haven't filed anything. As long as I get that one, I'll be happy. As long as I got one, you know? Well, the money's going for a good cause. I know you guys need money and stuff. I usually try to give a little micro-effect and you guys. I gave $10 towards Arizona's for their medical to help them out and get some of their stuff. And that's definitely worthwhile right there, too. That's another thing we should mention is, again, their medical support is something that The package deal they got is actually excellent. We just had another guy that came through that's been working with medics in another direction and he accessed some of that equipment or was looking at the prices and if they can get that for that price they're making a good deal. So there's no doubt about that. You got the Chinese down there and I'm sure they're probably helping them out. Interestingly enough, I have done a search. I told everybody and I watched this personally. This is Mark. Me. I. Not somebody said, somebody heard. I pulled up the videos and they had extensive pieces that were done from Mexico about the Chinese artillery that the Mexicans are using. And the Chinese advisors and the Chinese this and the Chinese that. Well, you know what? Systematically, that has all been taken off the system because, for instance, they're using a new Chinese mountain halitzer. It's a unique design, not very complicated, but it's something that they have in their inventory and it's all Chinese supported. Interestingly enough, all the information on that has just been made to disappear. You can see the Chinese Nationalist Parade that they have every year. There's all kinds of good video there that everybody needs to watch because that will give a better feel for the Mexican military. Contrary to it, they seem to think everybody is wearing a sombrero. There's other stuff on the drug narcoster scenario that's being played out. Even there, that's all old hat. Guys, they've been killing each other down there forever. It's getting intense right now, but it was intense before it just shut up about it. So there are two cards being played here. In both instances, the idea is to try and make us demand bigger government. We need bigger government. No, we don't. We don't need bigger government. We need government scaled back dramatically. That's the first thing that needs to happen. That's part of the reason we have the problems. It's very simple. Protect the border, lock the border down. uh... take care of care for trade federal government supposed to stay out everybody else's business otherwise through simple their list was very short and you know they're not doing any of the jobs that are on that list anymore they're doing everything else but what they were actually mandated by law you know by our constitution to do are limited constitution or even by the choir article confederation the thing is a fiasco from the word go We'll deal with it from our end. I'm going to make sure that you have the ability to at least train a lot of other people. So don't be surprised. There'll be maybe something else in the envelope too that you get. It should be on the way. That's why I've gotten most of your manuals and stuff. So when the time comes and people finally get slapped around a little bit here and decide that, hey, maybe I need to start doing something. otherwise most of the people around here where I live at it's got their head up their arse so uh you know I got a brother you can't tell him nothing so he doesn't want to hear it doesn't care about it you know when it comes time you know he'll be whining over coming to me I'm gonna tell him hey you know you got a drawer full of butter knives well if I got something for him I'll say man It might just be a loss of a butter knife is what you're saying. Maybe not worth doing that. Well, I might give them something a little more than a butter knife. But otherwise, in that album, you know, it's like talking to the wall. So, you just have to wait until it all hits the fan. Well, interestingly enough, and again, look at how many incidents we've had. Now, we haven't lost millions of people. We have had incidents where individuals have been attacked or where, again, the Huttari scenario was the pimple of this year as far as the big event, as far as I'm concerned. And that died on the vine as quickly as they initiated it because they realized the backlash and how deep it was. They even started to do the, look, we didn't attack any other militias, we didn't attack any other militias. Yeah, only because all the militias decided, hmm, looks like we're going to have to shoot them. And, you know, that's the bottom line. And that's why they did the damage control pieces where they had their little talking mouth, you know, mouth pieces there. You know, again, liquid toilet paper crew. Busy going, well, you know, they didn't attack everybody else, only because they were, you know, they were put, you know, the brakes were put on them. Because everybody realizes, and like I said, this starts. In a scenario like that, it is not going to stop. This thing this last weekend could have escalated easily. No matter how hard they try to block it, what's going to happen is somebody's going to find out who it is, or they're going to peg it real quick because nobody else on that road. And what's going to happen is they're going to show up, somebody else is going to show up that's going to escalate, pop, pop, boom, boom. It's like I said, the how it starts scenario. It won't necessarily be on the location where the fighting is going on. In fact, that's the least likely to be the case. What will happen is it will be a whole bunch of people responding to that person who is their friend or a family member and the next incident will be on an intersection. After that, somebody else is going to be PO'd and figure out I can take a pot shot for free and it will just be like that nonstop. videos of police just beating people and people just stand there. You know, won't do nothing. You know, they let the police just beat on them and beat on them. When there's more than enough people just to grab them and say, hey, that's enough. You know? Yep. That's where people are. They want to fight and start beating on more people. They just need to put these guys down and stomp them a little bit and show them that, you know, they're not going to put up with it. So, you know, it's like that guy in New York. You get stabbed helping some woman, the woman didn't even call the police for him. They just left him, lay there and bleed to death. People better grow some. Well, I think that's where you've got two groups. You've got the bunch right now, they don't want to argue with the bad guys. They don't want to just debate with them. That's the thing. They already know what the problem is. They're arming to the teeth. My most common question, it just happened again today here about what Well, let's see, two hours ago now, because it's 6.40, but about 4.40 I had somebody go, hey, by the way, and this is somebody I pass, you know, every so many days I see them around. And it was like, hey, by the way, I remember that sign you put up, because I put that sign up, I put a sign up that was all over the country, it was just to be improvised by more ammo. and put amoman dot com somebody seem to think i was selling ammunition and i kept saying new yup no no i said amoman dot com amoman dot com go to amoman dot com go to main military go to you know right down the list so i've heard of the sheet that's basically like our how to find a sheet but it's for just ammunition you know go to the site see what you can find and the low and behold about two hours ago hey uh... You were talking about how the friend you got, they do the live fire shooting with a 50 and my brothers got one. Oh, don't tell me. Let me guess. You didn't buy a whole lot of ammo when you should have. No, I didn't. Oh, so you have a 50 and you probably got maybe 19 rounds? Oh, no. We got 30 or so. I said, well, that'll be enough to get you in trouble. It'll have to get started. That's the whole point. So, it's like, okay, go to JG sales and go to amoman.com. And between... Yeah, there's the main military. AIM Surplus has got that. Yeah, that's right. They've got this Singapore ammunition from Singapore right now. And that's actually a pretty good price. So, there are sources and there's stuff available. And for these people that are late, it's not that they don't have good weapons. These guys, this person, I had no idea that he had what he had, but he spent probably about $7,000-$8,000 because it's a Barrett semi. He bought it from another person so it's not got any paperwork on it. It just went from one person to the next. The other thing he was asking about was mags. I said, hey, you better go to Mr. Barrett and talk about those because that's the only place you're going to get them quick and fast. So I pointed them in the right direction on both of those. Then the other thing was cleaning and maintenance. They had an idea about that, but like I told them, they said you need to get with the 50 caliber shooters association and you start looking at things you might have to tweak on that gun. But there's a 50 within a mile and a half where I'm sitting right now that is cocklock, ready to rock and roll, has all the support weapons, he's got all the other stuff, he just, the 50 was something I just didn't think about on his shopping list. Obviously he had it on his shopping list. So, be prepared to provide people with information. That's the other thing that is most common. People are hungry for stuff or they have a certain appetite for something that's a specialty menu item. And that's probably the best example, half inch ammunition. The other thing is the fact that I'm getting still every day. If I go out, somebody's asking about ammo, somebody's asking about weapons, somebody's asking about where can I get up, fill in the blank. So, everybody, you all need to kind of like spread the word. I'm to the point where I'm thinking of doing a general handout here locally again. I haven't done this in a while, but we need to do a general handout about preparing for the problem. And it doesn't have to be really big, but it's tricks of the trades kind of thing. All of us people on the page, we have a shopping list and we have an idea of what needs to be done. Everybody else needs to have that passed on to them because it's not that people aren't thinking about this. Some are trying to avoid it. Some will have their head up their rumpus until somebody comes up and whacks them in the rear end and the head at the same time because you only have to hit them in one place, right? If they've got their head up their ass, they can boot to the head and kick them in the rumpus at the same time. Again, other than that group, everybody else is asking the right questions. They're just at different levels. I believe the bad guys feel this big time. I think they perceive and understand the water level, but they are swimming in, what is going on. I think they are getting a lot of bumps from the sharks, alligators, and the piranhas, and just plain old sheep dogs like us. Everybody is looking at the same problem and they are all thinking the same thing. So, this last weekend, and that's why we did a live feed on it too guys, because it was important and it needs to be done. We need to be doing this on all the networks we have that are Patriot networks. We need to be doing this all across our radio grid so that when something happens, we get the message out all over the country. That's critical. I don't know how much more we can do. I know what I have to do. I've got a shopping list. But for everybody else, if you just did one thing, it would make so much of it. Just hand out information on how to find us. Information on how to get hold of radio communication, or maybe recommendations on how to produce food, or how to make food, or how to forage. I was thinking about this today. When I was little, my mom and dad used to jump in the car like, say, on a Friday, and we'd just go out driving. But whenever we did, We were always going to certain spots out in the country that were away from everything, and we'd be stopping, and my dad would check a spot, or my mom, or everybody would get out of the car and say, look for this. And what was happening is, it was an extension of back in the days when my dad and mom were in the Depression. And they knew where all these sites were, where there was wild asparagus that had been planted, or asparagus that had been planted by the farms that were gone. For instance, huckleberries, hazelnut plants, hicory nuts, walnuts. We used to go out and have bushel baskets ready to go. We'd pick this stuff up. This was back in the 50s and 60s. As long as I'd been alive, that was how I was taught to understand how to take care of yourself, to forage. The other cool thing is you get some really tasty stuff in the process. Well, everybody needs to be thinking that way. You can be standing there. The best example of this is a couple of years ago we had the family that drove to their doom following a computer. During the winter there was a road gate that was open. They were following a land navigator and it took them down the fastest path to nowhere. Well, the problem is they weren't like, you know, they may have felt like they were stuck out in the mountains. No, they weren't. They were stuck in a valley. There were trees everywhere. There was pine trees. There was all kinds of undergrowth. Yes, there was snow. But this person burned the tires on his car rather than cut foliage and cut material and take advantage of the natural stock that was available so that his vehicle would be intact. He was burning the fuel from the vehicle to get the tires burning to do this and that and the other. It's like, okay, well that's neat within a very limited frame of mind. And you know, everything was wrong. It was right, but it was wrong. And it's because the person had no clue about foraging or no clue about outside of his box environment how to deal with everything else. And we need to relearn this across the board. It's why if you go to our YouTube page, Nancy did the pickled eggplant recipe. That comes from the depression. The neighbors across the street, a woman's name is Philamine La Rosa. She's 100 and some years old right now. Okay, Philamine La Rosa. And she, of course, this was an old Italian recipe. We was handed across the street to us back in the old neighborhood. It's as old as civilization because it is so simple and so stupid you can't get it wrong. In fact after you're done with it, it's an open air pickling system. It doesn't have to be scum. There's no maintenance. And all you get tasty yummy stuff, I've got four gallons sitting on the kitchen table or on the corner right now. They're already cured. I could open it up but it wouldn't last 15 minutes once everybody knows it's there. That's how tasty it is. So, we've got to relearn these skills. Pickling, of course, because it's very stable. The other thing is drying foods. I've been doing an example. Here's a thing. I think we're talking up for going circles. Pickling. Guys, it's pumpkin season. You're going to be able to get pumpkins for free. Now, pumpkin jerky. A food dryer, pumpkin, make it into pumpkin jerky. Just dried pumpkin, sliver it about a quarter of an inch thick, let it dry, throw some brown sugar on it, throw some flavoring molasses on it, whatever you want. Dry it and then get a vacuum packer or put it into plastic jars and seal it up from the environment. That's the cheapest food you could possibly imagine. And pumpkin is what was a combat ration during the Revolutionary War. Most people don't realize it until you start listening to the songs from the American Revolution. Guess what? It talks about a half a pumpkin. It talks about your pumpkin and a rash or a bacon. There are all kinds of little songs that are little ditties that were played. The pumpkin is a subject of, again, describing in a way through the song their meals. So, we got tons of pumpkin. Even the ornamental pumpkins are edible, trust me. The only thing is that the meat's not as thick. Well, you know what? For making pumpkin jerky, it doesn't make any difference. You sliver the stuff, you lay it in the food dryer, and when you're done with it, you got tasty stuff to chew on. And again, remember when you dry, you don't lose any of the nutrients. Pickling is another system. My favorite, again, pickled eggplant because of its reliability, but also, again, sauerkraut. Every population that's had cabbage has made something like sauerkraut. And so there's another one, pickles in general, just because changes in food. Pickling pears, pickled plums. People don't even think about doing that. We've got pickling pears down the road here. I've got a pickling pear tree right out the window here. That pickling pear tree is rare because it's not an in vogue breed. The only place you'll find them growing anymore are on these old farms where somebody planted them back in the teens and the twenties and they're still popping up because they've gone from generation to generation and they're a non-hybrid tree. Very flavorful fruit, very simple fruit. and easily can that's what the pickling pair should tell you something probably works quite nice as a pickling pair when i was growing up my mother always canned pears peaches cherries i used to raid the cherries all the time and pears stuff and sourcrumbs make your own sourcough a lot better than any store bought stuff i've ever ate oh yes i miss it As a matter of fact, Nancy has two more videos that are done. We've just not been able to get them loaded up on YouTube. I know they're probably being intentionally persnickety with us. We know that. But ViewFlicks and YouTube now have changed a little bit of their software format. We've got to go to different software too and top everything else now. But, we do have other videos on food storage and food processing that are already done in the can. We'll probably have to just do them as a disc, I think, just to get them out to people. So, we'll probably think about getting that edited maybe this weekend or put together and we'll throw that out there. The disc will be full. Let's put it that way. It won't just be food processing, but a lot of other good stuff, too, that we've got sitting here on the shelf that we can use. We'll plug everything in from the YouTube page and maybe make it available. I think it'll probably be our best choice. And that would be a hard copy and a very clean copy too. Anyway, well, we're almost to the top. Anything else you can think of before we go? Well, I'm just hoping people are going to take advantage of those poles and stuff so they can use them for tarps, hold up tarps, for support like that and stuff. So I can say they look like they'll make a good antenna. Very good. So I'm hoping people will be able to buy them out at that price, $7, and then for the shipping, wherever, and we'll be all set then. Excellent. We'll be in communication. I think they're going to shut us down, but we'll be still rocking and rolling. Oh, we'll be talking to each other. Again, it's like that, I know how to use the variable rizdat. With the ham radio and stuff, I haven't got stuff set up yet. That's what I'm getting this poll for. I just ordered another one while I'm on here so I want to make sure I get my stuff up and going here. One more thing on that note too is you might want to start looking at and in fact collecting information on crystal radios. Old crystal technology to grow your own crystal and actually build your own radio from scratch. Not complicated and in fact remember 110 years ago everybody was doing well to you 2010. Yeah, almost 110 years ago Crystal radios were up and online already so yeah, and I was checking out a Stuff about Nikola Tesla where these guys are putting these little kits together for Two three four dollars worth of stuff and they picking up energy from the radio waves. They just run a copper line up about 20-30 feet and it's enough to charge a cell phone or run a couple of LED lights, just give them a little light. It's all free. It's just from the energy from the air. And you know what's interesting about that too is that because of all the harmonic radio frequencies out there, I believe that that's now enhanced even more. Because Tesla's discussion had to do with naturally occurring radio wave technology. Well, on top of that, now think of how much other clutter has created, say, background radiation in the same frequencies. I'd be willing to bet that it actually will perform better than even during Tesla's era. When he was doing all the research, and he really wasn't here, he'd already figured it out. He was just trying to figure out how to make it work better. He'd already figured all of this out. That's the sad part. It wasn't like he had to, you know, I'm not sure this is going to work. No, he knew it worked. He was trying to make it work better when they attacked him. That's what they were afraid of. And we have the ability to do that. Everybody out there listening, guys, have some fun. Do some research. Experiment. We've got Tesla people up north that, I mean, just going into their shops. It's just a museum, but it's not a museum. stuff made a hundred years ago. It's technology built today but built to Tesla specs. And you can do this and once you start to experiment your mind will be open to a lot of other ideas. And you can start small. You don't have to start big. We don't need to make a big ball the size of the transmitter in New York. We're just going a little. Radios without plugging them in. You know, shortwave, AM, FM. You just learn what you need. Put them together and just use that power. The radio waves out there, the energy, it's free. And when they shut the power off, at least we can still be able to listen. Before we go any farther, you know what I mentioned this, and somebody's probably going to go, Mark, you didn't bring this up one more time just on that note for storage. surplus traders dot net w w w dot surplus traders dot net that w w w dot surplus traders dot net that's f u r p l u s t r a d e r s dot n e t go to their super specials they've got the bill bus special page you have to scroll way down there's all kinds of good stuff but on the high end of that in all through it there's actually batteries available double a night AA Nickel Hydride, little radio motor packs, battery packs, forgive me, and then there are motors, there's capacitors, there's anything you can imagine. If you're a radio geek or if you're building stuff, slowly scroll down through that special sheet and look. You're seeing things for as little as a few pennies a piece. to a couple of dollars. Very little of anything on that page is more than five or six dollars. That would be a pretty expensive item on that page. Otherwise, the batteries, anywhere from as low as 38 cents to 58 cents to 78 cents for rechargeables. Double A batteries ready to roll. You've got to buy at least $10 of each item. Big deal. That's not going to take much if you buy a whole pile of double A batteries. So you should be able to cover that without any problem. But take a look at the specials and go through the sheet slowly. You might also want to check all the other departments on that page because they specialize in electronics and goodies. SurplusTraders.net. We're going to hear the music here. Tell you what, why don't you stay in close with me, sir? Hold on a second. We're going to hear the music because we're getting close. See, today is Tuesday. We have Spike coming in right behind us, or should be. And one last thing before we go. I've got surplus traders there. I want to make sure Super Circuits was the other company. www.supercircuits.com. I've been mentioning cameras. This company is spyware. It's all they do. Super Circuits does nothing but cameras. Prison cameras, household cameras, personal cameras, you name it. Well, they have discontinued lines because they're always finding other China junk to sell you. If it's all intricate and it's really cool and it's got all kinds of neat widgets nowadays, it's China junk. But there is some older equipment, typically not China junk, that ends up on the sale block. So you want to go through and check their webpage out too, but they have cameras, they have listening technology, microphones, all the splitters. management systems for your camera systems if you want to do that. Remember that most of the little cameras are night vision capable. They are IR sensitive. You don't need a big flare to get them to work. All you need is one little LED, even red or ultraviolet or whatever you want to use, and the whole room is lit up. So guys, there's a solution, not just lamenting about the problems. Super Circuits 1-800-335-9777. And that's Mindy, extension 113. That's who you want to talk to there. And that's for cameras, etc. Super Circuits dot com. We're getting pretty close to the top. I know we should be hearing the music now because we are at the top of the hour. Uh oh. And hopefully we haven't got a problem with the glitch. We're still on the air. I'm hoping people will go check out some of those YouTube and check out some of those little innovations of what people are working on using that free electric energy from the air. It would be good for a real trickle charge for batteries and stuff when you're on the move and stuff too. As a matter of fact, some of the most innovative little ideas are up on YouTube pages right now. Everything from, like you said, radio technology, alternate power supplies, P-V-C, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p-v-c, p- Now if it's punching through a one inch of laminated plywood board, I don't think there's a whole lot going to slow that arrow down. But the interesting thing is, no sound, moving it across the yard, the whole nine yards, and penetrating the target. Hey, all with PVC, a two liter bottle, and a valve, and a little bit of pressure. Oh my goodness. What worth a drop. God bless the Republic. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're on a march, folks. Stayin' nice. Hoorah! She comes to the slats, run em to the fence, throw em to the mad dog, drug dealin' chihuahuas. Meanwhile, Spike's gonna drive a nail through the head of the New World Order right here, following up with a live radio on Delivery Tree Radio. Thank you, sir. Thank you. God bless. We'll be back.
