Mark Koernke discussed emergency preparedness, communications infrastructure, and defensive strategies on Tuesday morning. The show featured extensive coverage of radio equipment including CB radios, hand-crank generators, rechargeable batteries, and scanner technology for monitoring law enforcement frequencies. Koernke emphasized the importance of older radio equipment for potential domestic defense scenarios and explained how to modify CB radios for clearer communication. A caller from Texas (Bill from Austin) reported monitoring Texas Rangers using VHF frequencies, leading to discussion of signal communications and tactical radio capabilities. The episode also included announcements for a Labor Day fundraiser at the Micro Effect facility in Michigan on September 5-6, featuring speakers Ron Burns and Dr. A. Truant, and promoted freeze-dried survival foods and gunsmithing training courses.
Candidates must be on the ballot so you can vote for them. To get on the ballot in the general election, you must be nominated for an office by a political party. In some states, candidates are nominated in what is called a primary, and in other states, nominations are made at a political party convention. Usually, only a small percentage of voters participate in the primary or convention, so the candidates endorsed by each party's county or township committee are usually the ones who win a place on the November ballot. If your candidate is not on the ballot, he absolutely will not be elected. Party platforms are important too in spreading the conservative message and holding public officials accountable. In Ronald Reagan's words, now is a time for choosing. It's up to us to spell out authentic conservative policies, reject fake conservatives, and build a new conservative pro-family majority. Don't wait for leaders to come along and tell us what to do. Grassroots conservatives must build their own movement. You've been listening to the Phyllis Schlafly Report. Figure walking through the mist with a flint lock in it. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave. In this the length brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free. Home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't according to this date. You read about the current news in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper, so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've given government control to those who do you harm, so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will leave. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores. And send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children and fear to be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God-given right, pray to God, as I awoke he vanished in the midst of whence he came. His words were true, but we have ourselves to blame, for even now as tyrants trample each God-given right, we only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. He stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep. What would be your answer? He called out from the grave. A closer to victory for all of our brothers and both on and behind the lines in occupied territories. Brood effect network in the morning. As a matter of fact, it is a beautiful, beautiful for all of our brothers and sisters behind the lines in occupied territories. Central, Southeast, and by Crost. Check with your team leaders on that because it's a holiday weekend, but that is next week, so you know that. Follow up and down the Smokies and the Blue Ridge, a replacement of the bad guys try to shut it off. All they'll be doing is cutting off the nose to spike them up and online. It may chug along, there may be some burps here and there. You'll find out when the bad guys shut everything else off how well your stuff works. and that's what we'll be doing guys making it making it happen and the enemy will be making lots of enemies of people that otherwise probably would have stayed neutral. Oh my goodness though we are headed now in the way to the recess. We may make it through the month. If that's the case, as you guys said we weren't going to make it to the beginning of August. But I bought you another 31 days. What did you do in the last 31 days? As a point, let's remind everybody here that it's Communications Tuesday. Ah, I should have remembered that. There we are. You can check to see if we have listeners in Antarctica. So far we don't because nobody's written anybody in Antarctica. We need to write somebody in Antarctica and get them to hook up to the micro effect. Right in the bottom of the... Oh cool, you're going to spin this around. We've got listeners in Australia, Asia, Indonesia, Africa, Europe looks like we've been dropping 5 kiloton devices there. Go the same way, so get a chance, take the time, plug in there if you can. There is a whole bunch of the picnic this weekend. If you haven't seen what you can go to the page, you have events and activities. The Micro Effect is hosting a Labor Day fundraiser, September 5th. And September 5th, an outdoor Sunday service, is told at the McNeil home near Kami'ai at 10.30. Pastor Mike Hoover from Michigan, Indiana will lead the service. Pastor Mike on Covenanters Call here on the micro effect every Saturday at 2 p.m. Pacific. They actually make the point of doing that, guys. I'm going to remind you again here a little bit. You don't miss it. People coming from all over the country. Sounds like some people are going to make this a holiday vacation event, and this gives you a chance to meet friends much farther. I'll wake you up this morning, guys. You all had that first cup of coffee? The cat here, I got things in the keyboard trying to prevent them. Look at me, I'm not drinking any coffee. Well, I'll tell you what, the smell there. Tuesday, nobody's calling in sick here guys, sorry about that. That's what the bad guys planned on, that's why the Israelis and the government did things the way they did because Tuesday, let's have a little bit more here. Popeye? Oh, the reminder here, two batteries, batteries, you haven't taken care of bad equipment guys. One of the things that we're hearing right now, a couple of tests that took the first thing they admitted is rechargeables. There's a number of different places you can go to, scientific wholesaler, coal hydride, or any type of NiCad, a number of other different gel systems I don't care what it is that you go with because you know again it's better what you can finally and around rechargeables on hand are they the perfect solution yes we know all the problems with each of the different rechargeables that are out there. rechargeable batteries that you can take advantage of solar make your hind end up. Pedal play to come up with a nice industrial everybody wants to get rid of type where they compress down are nothing more than three pedals that were used and hooked to a generator pack. First did one that was a pedal that was a crank type purely a matter, you know, came with little bike strips the whole nine yards was very sad. You want to spend a little more money? Something more than an alternator, but you need to help make it happen. What you've got is the in the light, busy, it's a, in other words, one person doesn't get strapped to the machine and you don't paddle until you die. No, that's not how it works at all. In fact, everybody knows everyone takes a muskle in the old black and white movies from World War II. You go get some horsepower, go get anybody else with your equipment. Okay, that's all there is to it, John, and make sure that you do it right. The internet, that's another one, some multi-serve. Things had anywhere from 5 volt all the way to an output of 600 volts. The hand crank generators, they were designed for the military. Well, in the last model made for Vietnam, I was buying for $65 a set. Well, everybody's, everybody went out and now you will find FAIR. Found for our guys in the chat room, other sites through there. The big thing is, does have a lot of milliliterment of all kind and surplus ready equipment of all kinds. Name it, it's out there. You'll find those cranksets there, but they're not $65 anymore. If you're looking for something that's plug and play, in other words, man, something that works. I mark, I don't, I'm not mechanically inclined. I just need to be able to buy it and put it on. Okay, that's fine. I are fair. And plug them in. There's a whole bunch of cool stuff there that is definitely, well, more than joy. Did you guys pick up your CB radios yet? On that one again. Yeah, well, I am because you know what, I went to the trucks. Now guys, I've never seen them where they run the sale. Usually they kind of, you know, like have a bit of a sale in this, which money's not there. Drivers don't buy little boxes unless it's an emergency. In other words, they need something quick. Have somebody else tweak it or key antenna. Small box for a radio for each of your cars. $29.95. Actually, there are some places now on the I-75 corridor that have T-595. It's $25.95. You can't get any cheaper than that. And that's going back to almost $75. now guys can be the Midland boxes little cobras or you'll find the Uniden if you see the Uniden radio that the little Uniden boxes for $29 that is an excellent buy there the there's a 510 XL LE 510 X blah blah blah blah blah I don't know how they came up with those last letters other than somebody said well we sell right now we'll try to be an XL $29 beautiful little set I have a bunch of them in fact we We've converted a lot of those, although we've done all the others to the cobras and the middle ones, which cobra middle is basically the same radio. A lot of the circuit boards. Anyway, the little units yourself, a nice, you know, cure unit that can take a little bit of a... If you need one for the car, radio, 20 magnet mount antenna, 11.95 to 16.95, depending on how much money your local area makes. That's right, it's loan pricing, guys. And an ash tray is $3, as little as $2.65 out of truck stops. three dollars and then three up and down just a matter of either they make locally that determines how what the cost is going to be because there's pricing you make more money they're going to get so many more pennies with because your pectoral tape black to black wire nuts oh wait a minute they're not the little the once you mount the rod that goes in and plugs in it's going to be a little longer pretty well adjusted till it's just fine magnet mounts cheapies they already have the coax attached take the magnet mount on the roof you run the line around and through the window or the door no reason it could just be land and then plug it into the air, we'll see if it lights up. Plug the power in and turn it on. Just brought the miracle of another dimension and signal does not work because of EMP. What the cars are going to be? Well, if you got the, if the radio survived, you can pull the battery or pull a battery, a line connect and you've got 12 volt power, you have a radio, now you have local communications again. A lot of people have taken a percentage of these videos and they put them in from EMP and are not connected to anything. The wire goes down to the electrical components and those ice goes off you have a wide range, a whole lot of noise. Only for a short time, but that spike in energy goes in so many ways and that's electromagnetic pulse. It will cause damage if you have any problems in your backyard or in the peripheral or even just above the upper ass. They already know this. There's all kinds of little cheats to think about, but if that's the case, consider radio. You think your cell phone's gonna last more than a quarter of a second? Oh, that's right. Micro solid state and heavier solid state and all these other gimmicks. We've tried microwaving. We find the diodes are the ones that make the most noise. But they don't usually make search labs on the other side of the street, how we could damage stuff and at what range. You're not going to kill him. All this radio equipment, in fact even the little paddocks that are in those are going to go pop. Just little ideas. But you need radio communication. So that's a long way from the CB going to microwave technology. Well, it's all radio in one or another. Now, oh, I could have stopped at the bottom of the hour. No, we're past the bottom of the hour. That means I gotta wake you people up again. How many of you people have been laying there listening to Mark Prattle here on the radio? Well, you gotta go to work. So if you're out there on the left coast and you're sitting there going nah nah nah, staring at the ceiling, listening to Mark, guess what? It is time for you to get up at 6.34. You put the alarm clock on. You told me to get you up. In fact, you put a note next to that. You have Mark. You're Ross and Shine campers for the second wave here with the... Tuesday morning. We got Denny Clouds. This is one of those days where it's going to be scorcher out there because it's a big Louisiana north for it. It's become Michigan south north. We got high humidity. The brownout effect we have had. In fact, the only place that hasn't probably gotten as much rain is right here where I'm sitting because we just dropping all over the gardens. But the heat of the gardens. Today, you're getting up this morning. Of course, how many people are in here? You're out there in the desert. Come on, guys. There's no water. Not enough irrigation and all that. We know that. You are to the north. Get up. You got to wake up this morning. Let's do this one more time. You're kind of groggy, you got your head out in the kitchen to your kind of thinking, I don't want to go with a kid sick on Tuesday. One good thing, if you do call him sick on Tuesday, you just fall over, you'll fall back in the chair with your head kind of old, whatever you got there in there, more time. The second wave, yeah, hold on. Now, a couple other things on melodrama, soap opera, and melodrama. Can I remind you all that we've had management change in South Korea, that was going on in North Korea. You remember President Park re-invent? we stopped the war, we didn't stop the war. We stopped shooting at each other. The war still is one of those class Korea, South Korea. There's a DMZ in the middle, up in the north. Well anyway, this is going back a few years. President Park, President Park's in Korea don't chop wood to stay wood because there's a little Korean lee all about how you don't chop a wood in a president park of trees. But evil, America pay, America pay. And of course America did pay. If you chopped a tree or ran over a tree or crushed a tree, Korea needs trees. don't have that many years although things are wooded and the DMZ is looking like nobody goes someplace how things will grow like sanctuary belt south got together they wouldn't far as what they've got there and so unique growth point is president arc now how many other presidents reasense then some of them have kind of been president for a wife yeah because this in the north you know the regime changes just as been ousted at bayonet point don't think so do it is pretty steady yes they had Elton John get hit side to head being chosen there's not stupid. They have enough prong sons and you know, in-laws and outlaws. Everybody has their, oh my goodness, is somebody worse? Okay well, everybody told us this guy was the worst. Everybody think this through. I mean it's like kind of this, the other comma thing. Let's just settle. We're all told, this is a crazy guy. This is a crazy guy with young John Glasses and the bad of hairdo. That tells you right there, he's a crazy guy. In reality, he's just one of those many emotions. You know, Dada Eady, I mean, he was a crazy guy. Nobody went after him after he left power. in Uganda when the revolt took place. Maybe a plot design lived out lived to old age. While the bones of the million and a half almost two million people he killed in Uganda, he swiped and chewed by the critters and you know went to dust. Yeah, Dada Edie. I mean, no, he didn't die back in Uganda with the revolt. He went up north and he plopped his hind end down. So where did Dick go? Seems one of the things nobody asked. Where did Dick? They're done being Dick. You ever thought about that? Well, they go to Saudi Arabia. The Israelis bank for them and the Saudis wine and dine them. And between the Israelis sucking the money out of them and of course smiling and waving, they don't go after them. Remember, think about this. Okay, Dada Idi Amin, you know, made all kinds of noise and the Israelis didn't like him and this and that and the other. And nobody really made an effort to kill him off. Seriously, guys, he died of old age. You mean to say that, you know, if there was a vendetta and they really, really I just want to point that out that the guys in North Korea, they'd understand what's going on. By the way, there are a whole bunch of the places where I think you worry more about who is changing management right now. Korea's pickle, smoke, and mirrors. Now, enough on that, enough said there, but we have a caller, by the way, who we have. Bill from Austin. Go ahead, Bill. Jump in there, sir. A few days. I tried to spectrum analyze and see if there's anything going on, and I picked up head rangers. Interesting. Texas, and what were they using it for? Were they using it as a command frequency? Were they using it as a... Well, it was very E and Motorola radios. They did do VHF love. Right. And you know what, one of the things I'll point out about that is what's happening is a lot of these departments have their old equipment in place. That's why I've told everybody, do not get rid of any of your older scanners. A lot of the older equipment, they all know better. They knew better. They did for years that if we got into the next war, well, we need combat frequencies and we need tactical radio. I mentioned CBs because CBs everybody can reach, everybody can handle, everybody understands. VHF rigs that were out there that were in police hands were going to be the, you know, for a combat operation, logical, so to the signal communications problems combined with ham radios if we had to defend the, you know, the country inside the U.S. on American shores. And for that reason, a lot of the wise departments did not sell their equipment, they just put it in a reserve. Now the other thing that they've been doing is they've been counting on the idea that everybody's looking into the eight, nine hundred meg frequencies fully scanning. And in reality, what they're doing is they're using a lot of their older, although bulkier but not by much, older hand rigs and all the repeating systems and even the old base repeaters and such for the dispatch, still using all that equipment and have it in place. And we're over again using the older scanners to pin them down and ID where they are. Yeah, oh yeah, I'm sorry I've got and those all I'm gonna see I don't see light I don't wanna go check that one. Let me give an example This is like holding on to your old scanners. This is when they try to cause a problem They'll try to do it out by the mailbox or up by the road so they can claim or feign all those poor people were attacked by that crazy guy Who of course is at his home and really doesn't have any interest in bothering anybody while he's going to the mailbox Well all mile the Sun out by the mailbox suburban type go by they throw up now we don't problem anybody and this kid has to have a leak or says something right away we've already got camera reg radio rigs everything is ready to go so i applied go to the car in it all i want to picture the vehicle wanna make sure i've got all the information on it for cal get pictures of drivers everything else what's interesting is that i pull out of each of the standard actually got a lot and out of the blue as their signals i'm talking to you right now it says he's taking the baby's in motion we think that was logic was that i'm gonna go Don't have bumper cars. People, I just don't know. You see, that's the thing they've done over and over again. We've covered this on the air. Now, for now, the scanner, you know, what was going on, the scanner did its job and it pegged the aggressor, who, by the way, had to be the other spotter vehicle somewhere. Now, we had an idea. We don't want to, because we have an ally on the road and they were keeping it on the other one. They didn't know they were already pegged. That's why the older equipment needs to be up and online. Again, an interesting thing too, like you said, the Texas Rangers, uh, considered, well, they are a literary formation. I mean, Mayberry, I can't hear very well. So what about back pickup? Just identify that either unique funding or somebody was intelligent and held onto their old equi-throw any of our older gear, or if we can get hold of stuff that's laying around that somebody else that enhances field capability to monitor. Signal communications monitoring is critical. And also our ability to get in yet another venue, their bandwidth, where it may be totally clear with no clutter, no background. that's the other part about this is remember finding places where you have to worry about a lot of back are no frequent cb that are like this and i think it was the word and towards the top there might get into it next hour we'll see what happens but you can actually modify most of the board in the mid-sized cbs and her michigan and talked in oragon washington or california like we're talking on the phone and with no background noise everybody goes what is that all that cb or no way like people as we're not you know people aren't supposed to know about it but the funny part about that the comical part is there's so little on cb by comparison what they used to be then on top of that there's so little and these no frequencies nobody's using them nobody we got and by the way most of the republic radio frequencies that you and i get to use are with the exception maybe the one mistake they made was 800 meg which of course they don't mind that because they're using it as a spy phone to track you now for the moment they wanted 800 meg for themselves the government did they wanted you to help pay for it with a pay for the cell phones run the cell phones and then they were going to bump you all off this is something the government spent for years with radio operators when we've developed frequencies we develop and type repeaters everybody perfect technology and the government comes in and says all we're going to use this for the donor destruction or the or another agency you're all kicked off and though you can have the equipment and we're going to ban you from having equipment publicly while they continue to build a privately for the government uh... they were going to do that with a hundred mega so we know they still bear in the gps tracking and blah blah blah blah blah i mean come on guys you had hundreds of cases now where they've said schmidlap or we'll cause we don't like him and we think he did this and that and so they're going to last hundred hours that'll last several own tracking. They're pegging where probably that phone went from here to there and here and there to here and here to everybody already doing it. Now just think about the gobbledygook how much people are willing to do that. We've said when this war starts it was walk over to a train with a piece of duct tape. Now make sure the battery is charged up completely and stick it on like for instance cloth of the truck very nonchalantly without causing too much tension and causing too many problems. Your cell phone and duct tape it to a train car over in a yard, like say if it's on the siding that's just off siding so the trains can go by. We have a bunch of those here. To do is walk up, duct tape the phone to that, and just let it run. If they're looking for you, they'll find you somewhere 246 miles away on the bottom of a semi truck, middle of BFE, on a train car. thought about this in advance. You want something that's going to move a lot. That way they're like, oh look he's gone to another district. Oh look we're tracking him. We'll have him any minute now. Yes we're tracking him but we're going to be secret squirrel about it. Yeah right. And that's why again thinking in advance. I'm planning that seat. You notice that? It's not that you know you guys have to decide if you want to do that. But when the time comes and they're hunting for you, the cell phone is the last thing you want to have with you. Oh you might want to already have I mean even if you duct tape it to somebody else all those poor buggers if you duct tape it to somebody else's car in a parking lot or something real quick like under the bumper or up in the fender well you gotta watch that because stones and rocks and the wheels themselves might just pull right off you don't want that you want to be you want to keep them busy you want them to be thinking that you know they don't have he doesn't have any clue and the car goes around them the car goes around and it goes around around around around around around you can also have some fun by taking your phone like we've done this before and put it in a vehicle that is part of a fleet of vehicles that you can go to every day. You stick the cell phone in there and you let the cell phone drive around with the cab or with the maintenance guy or the mate bag guy and it goes all over here and goes all over there and has absolutely nothing to do with you. We need to be doing that more often anyway. It's just kind of fun because the data stream can be so easily corrupted for Secret Squirrel spyware because what we tracked him when he went to his house And then he went to this grocery store. And then he went to this laundromat. And then he went to another grocery store. And he went to a laundromat. And another laundromat. A lot of clothes. And he went to another laundromat.
