Not many, but we got them out there, Don. We had blue sky this morning. But what is the date today? Fourth day of August of our Lord Two-Five. You're kinda like the same. Communications Tuesday, and so we do have a bunch of stuff going on. We're gonna be phone in, and I'm gonna repeat the, uh, cell, the cell phones are not anywhere near the specifications for a cell phone. Trust me, this is not a little Star Trek communicator. But it will talk to whoever you want to at the other end if you got wires hooked up. We're going to cover that in a second. Don, anything up there in that neck of the woods been happening that's been jumping off the table? We did that yesterday. It's been handy and you're there. And I know it's kind of well, it becomes an object of carbon. And it's interesting, they've been trying to pull out as much fence line as they can. One of the enticements is, you know, wire, scrap, oh look at scrap metal. So the older fence lines are being cannibalized and pulled before about half society can disappear. Metal moths can grind it right into oblivion. you know, use or consumption or cannibalization from one, you know, one, you know, into another, you know, use from one use to another, that it takes. And that's what's happening right now. So, you know, fence doesn't mean that they're getting rid of all the fence guys. There's plenty of fence line out there and it can be used as a very useful tool when the time comes. Just the idea is to pay attention to your surroundings. Most people don't and for that reason, since the average person and even most in the system are not that observant. It is neat that you can come up with a number of different ways or techniques to run lines or to use existing your advantage. The Fed does this in reverse order. If you look at buildings in your community, you'll find a lot of antennas or antenna arrays that you really aren't even really paying attention to because they've been built right into the structure. I'll give you an example. There's an entire wall of antennas. I say wall, we're talking about a 12th in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and on the northern face there's a whole sub antenna, the array didn't point it north for all practical, the wall, the reflector, but the average person is looking at the building and they of course, the array is geometrically designed on so they're spaced out uniformly. Oh, that was a clever architect. Look at the interesting pattern. Yeah, if they do notice it, that's exactly because this is artsy-fartsy and arbor. So the whole thing is that, yeah, exactly. It's like, oh, you know, well, I don't know what it means. And my brain isn't working anyway. Oh, well, I'm a liberal. So anyway, what they're looking at. Yeah. And because it's, you know, again, the other thing is if it's if it's geometrically dispersed and it with the lines of the, you know, they don't do anything askew. or strange, the average person is just going to see lines. It's not going to notice that there are so many inches off of the structure of the building that the dipole is from four points of the compass or two points depending upon which configuration, what building you're looking at. And again, the whole building, that particular wall of the building has no windows and we're talking reflector pointed in a particular direction. and there's stuff like that all over the place but it can be other there are other ways antennas are hidden are in fact sometimes not so much it but they're writing playing view uh... we point this out for years everybody dondi everybody out there watch uninterrupted all of the uh... video feeds of the uh... world trade center attack pretty much in the middle and factory watched up you had feeds going out left and right you had transmissions all over the place well here's the problem with that The World Trade Center did go down, right? It collapsed. Does anybody remember? There's two towers there. Does anybody remember that there's something really big that was on top of the one tower? Yeah, as a matter of fact, it was a big transmitter array and it had more than just one. In fact, it was one of the, it was the primary wireless speed line for all the authorities out there doing telecommunications, you know, like... Yeah, in the AM or the PM or Saturday Night Live thing Which creates a bit of a problem because you might recall that you see that the tower sink into its own rubble structure is violent fall into its own footprint, right? And that big old antenna went with it, but amazingly enough even though that was the feed antenna of the network conveniently It's almost as if somebody had reswitched everything in advance beforehand like you mean it was planned? Like they knew because you see it takes a little bit it's not just a flick of the switch guys you're not talking about I want to change channels there is a lot more work that goes into especially the national feeds with the things set up the way the things work and that was tied in why wasn't that the tall structure in the Manhattan area washed you know easily you know linked up and washed with whatever and you know was able to send the signal uniformly and you know with lots of energy little things to think about. There's something right in your face. Antenna arrays. You know, Tuesday, communications Tuesday. Remember that we're trying to make you think because you never know what you're going to see or find or discover that might be useful or that's just laying in somebody's backyard or you know, standing around as a rubble somewhere in the middle of New York. Oops. Well, no, we wouldn't be getting any of that good stuff. In fact, Mark, when that building was built, Eric came along and built enough that people along the time didn't like that. So they put an even bigger antenna on and again became the tallest buildings. Remember that? So it had a huge antenna on the roof. And that's what the whole fill in the blank. The towers of the teeth are the Chicago. The tees in, for instance, Indonesia and Malaysia and Japan. China's built some monstrosity. All of them are vying, if not for number one, at least to be in the top 10. And the bigger the antenna array, the more you can kind of eke in without doing all the other construction underneath. You just have been telling the world. we will do it for bahr for bragging rights when it's called million dollars it's cheaper than putting a little small polite on the tower but i'll see it that way blink blink blink well anyway the uh... the interesting thing here to antenna arrays there are many different types of systems that are out there that can be you know improvised from don't forget that mister conduit is your friend and uh... you know three quick half-inch three-quarters one-inch iron or steel pipe There's a lot of things you can do with all of the above. And schedule 80 plastic PVC pipe. Now, schedule 80 is the key is key here because we're talking a more rigid, heavier, denser, walled plastic pipe. Now, you can't put a real super heavy antenna on top of that, but for a quick, hasty, demi throwaway, both a 10-foot piece or a 10-foot piece of iron pipe or a 10-foot piece of plastic pipe, is a really great way to have an erector set in place where you can throw something up you can have some holes pre-drilled in the pipe and you can drill it whatever you got. Really take have some paddle screws that could you know, four or six inches long through the pipe and now you want to be safe hey you want to drill some holes or mat muffler clamps on you know through the wall into this you know you know through around the pipe that's a really good thing. You can use those and should have those in the kit anyway if you have another piece of pipe. and you want to extend it because height is always remember that with antennas and between the PVC, the conduit, and all kinds of the good stuff you can make antennas you can make both the mass and the antennas to reach where you need to quick quick quick I will a little secret here for you antenna builders watch for people throwing away their old TV antennas from on top of the house Those are priceless. And those are priceless tools, guys. That's construction material for the future. Anyway, you can disassemble them. So you don't cut them up. Disassemble them. Undo the riveter screws. Something that needs to be taken into consideration even when you're mounting up your own equipment. You've got to consider that when it's traveling down the road, anything that is, you know, shall we say, having energy, air pushed against it, something you have to experiment and test if you're going to create that are going to be in use while you're moving. There are other considerations of how you might either reinforce it or tie the thing down or lock the thing. in place or you know whatever depends on the performance range of the vehicle you're using just something to think about other things happening here real quick down on the border of course and well there's nothing changing there it's just exactly what we've all known about for the last 20 years duh but we do still have a lot of people that are going to be running down there to for the deployment coming up here very recommendation lots of water I cannot stress that lots of water take water with you come on you go to the dollar store and spend four dollars and get a whole bunch of throwaway bottles of water for nothing put in the car car and leave them in the trunk you're going down to arizona if you're going anywhere out west with you all up what you need everything else is on standby and so you know again one little container at a time some you know it gets crushed if you have a bunch of little water cells like that the nice thing is probably not everything is going to be crushed killed or you know fractured hope these cells are in other words bottles multi bottles uh... many different ones of the other consideration there too is op even if all is the sixers try come knock off of the bush noble binoculars optics are good optics if you were you can reach farther you're going to be you're going to be seeing farther than you can deeply observe without uh... enhancement as it is and that's true no matter where you go out west but it's been when you're getting down to the mexico arizona west text You've got rolling terrain, you've got really dynamic energetic mountains, and well you get to a vantage point and you're gonna want to be able to bring any image in.
