But it's interesting, the very wet summer venues, and I don't see August letting up. We are going to have a phenomenal crop production this year. One of the things we've had a phenomenal pop up, by the way, is a side note on that because of all the moisture done. I don't know about the rest of the planet, we're supposedly the frogs. We got tree frogs, we got ground frogs, we got road frogs, we've got pond frogs. And the other thing is the preponderance of tow and mass. In fact, last night I stepped out and I'm thinking, what the hell are those leafs doing in the front yard? You know what I mean? In other words, you turn, you know, you get the light on and I stay, you see this motion? And the first thing it looked like was, I was thinking, it was leafs. And I'm like, that's not a leaf. Wait a minute. There's no wind blowing right now. And I look down and it's like, there was this little, not army, but there was a little team of toads. And they're not little toads either. I went over to the front yard here before something chews on you or whatever. And I realized, wait a minute, I could be doing this all night. There was a whole bunch of them. And the amphibians are out en masse. And we're seeing this all over the place. In fact, I accidentally ran into them. I mean, it doesn't mean that you haven't seen them, but we have these really pretty tree toads. that have the oak camouflage. If you've seen an oak tree pattern, guys, that's what they look like. And I'm running into them everywhere, because I'm doing a lot of outside work, and we've been doing a lot of check-in, I've been putting in equipment. And you remember how Schwarzenegger had his hand in there, the pass is over him, and he's the camouflage on the camouflage screen? Well, it's kind of reversed, in that you don't notice the toe until you start to move your hand, and you realize, what was that, my thumb move on the tree? and it perfectly blended in. Beautiful animals too, and they're very narrow, very flat when they want to be. They'll flatten themselves right out to the tree. What do you think we call them? Tree toads. Seeing them everywhere. I mean everywhere. The other thing, another thing we don't hear anything about right now. We have a, our bee population has gone through, you know, the sea. Wild bees, and I always watch for this especially because again, you know we talk about food production. Bees are critical, we understand that, but natural occurring critters are out there and the wild bee population is big. have guys that I've known for years that are beekeepers and in fact one of them has hives, had boxes all around me here and we have not had any problems. There are significant blight issues with them just because so pretty much anything else in the way of the bee. I think that's made a big difference. Just a little update there, you know, talk about those bees are all dying. Well, we have to promote the other bees, like the boomer bee. Don't spot the boomer bee. He's a good one. He's doing the same thing that regular bees do, but he's just got big pretty colors and he shouldn't fly. Well, that's right. He shouldn't be flying in the first place. He just walked to that next flower. It looks like he shouldn't be up in the air at all. But anyway, you know, again, just case point. We've had some, you know, we've had interesting weather and I expected to get, uh... The little thing I expect to see is an extension of this and I'll warn everybody in advance, you know, preparation, we buy our winter gear in the summer and our summer gear in the winter, you better be ready for the winter coming up. This were cold weather with the mixture we've had in Michigan in snow. You know, the one difference is, you know, rain and snow. When I saw those clouds that were like half a mile away that didn't rain on us, they wouldn't have made any difference with the snow if it was half, they got top dollar and I expected that because I've watched it develop. And everything for the winter week, the big thing is, and went right down the road and it's already in Balochistan or China. Again, perspective, we need to be looking at food production. This tied into it. We were shifting a little bit here for a reason. Well, because I was thinking about, and I read off the list of the AMD boxes of MREs. And you know that out of 12 menus now, there's not one meal that's the same. There's 12 different meals in the box. And you know, it used to be it was doubled up because the menu was shorter. There was like two of. Well, now it's one of. And then there's another box. There's the switch, which are another box of totally different. Now, what gets me about that, actually, you know, the way the cases are set, what gets me about that is then we have people talking about how, oh, you find an army that can move the way we can move, and you have 24 given meals. My God, come on, think about that. Oh my God, I had to go and eat pork ribs yesterday. Oh, it was terrible. I would have wanted the enchilada. If that's your idea of hardship, I was thinking about this. The Roman Civil War. Think about this. The Roman Civil War. The great battle. Can you remember where you had actually determined by food. Imagine you bring a hundred and some thousand men, actually close to two, a million men total actually were involved in the action. If you look at everybody, all the forces, you brought them into one place. What do a million men eat a day? These groups came in and plopped their hind end down in an area and stood there across from each other, muscling up and moving their formations down. And day after day they kept doing it. But what happened with every day that they stood there? Wasn't that like a vacuum cleaner on the food system? What about the locals? Don't they get to eat too? What's my pig? Yeah, not if the army's there. My pig? Yeah. He's already gutted and everything's been eaten. Make note of is inaction is action. had the republicans not in had the republicans simply packed up their army first one week away from the imperials look at a different angle here gladiator and again one of the one of the tie in there is you know and we talk about what happened looking at armies moved and also keeping the population fed one of the things that they would do course for the most part you really can't tell you know initially if you look at you really can't tell the difference now of course it's a tack that they're using so you know because really the kind of like it's your near mock rice in service is healthy. It says, remember it's wetland rice, not a carbohydrate. Marley balanced that up. Now, I wanted to mention is if you get whole grain, guys, now everybody, this is in vogue right now, Don, you can go into Meyers and you have wheatgrass that you can eat now. Wheatgrass. It's a reintroduction of the sprouties of the 70s. And I still think somebody could make a massive, massive killing right now if they generously, it's so darn cheap to produce, guys. The one that really was not as common commonly found, but lentil sprouty, the closest thing, nothing but water, food composition that you have in your backpack. The reason I bring this up is because I picture, I was just reading an account, Don, with the, and I reread it because I wanted to, I was gonna read it on the air. I might still use it this afternoon. Benedict Arnold's forces heading north into Canada, he did a good job of mustering his men and he pushed him. Three weeks without stores. Now these men had to keep moving and they were going through some of the most rugged terrain headed towards Canada that you could imagine and at the end of three weeks they were stuck now They were still killing stuff any but they were they were on the edge of starvation a column met them the promised something linked up the earth in the right place right described how the the front men in the column in the canoes supply group They saw men leading cattle the description of how that cow died in epic unto itself 200 men were in place hungry They were everything entrails and they were you know, not meat described by one of the doctors The problem is, and this is where it really got bad, they actually ended up with so much they killed themselves. Three men died of gorge famished and they had eaten too much too fast. They died of basically system. Prevent that from happening and to consider, always keep this in the back of your mind. I know how hungry you can be. Oh, trust. Sprouting is something that can be done so easily in motion. And this is where a plastic jar, there's all kinds of plastic containers nowadays. You could be sprouting stuff off guys. You take the jar, you open it up, you put your lentils in there, you add your water, your natural body motion while you're walking shakes everything up and moves just fantastic. What's going to happen is literally the seeds do their job and they start to sprout. Well, when they do, the composition of that food stuff has changed. And basically, especially with lentil sprouts, the essential amino acids are provided that equal to what you need with meat. Now in the field when you're starving to prevent, and again this is to also prevent nutrient starvation, not just simply calorie starvation. People's teeth fall out for lack of nutrients, guys. What happens without vitamin C, Don? Yeah, a goiter. Think about it, simple minerals, we're not even talking calories, we're not talking the fact that man, I couldn't get, you could eat yourself to death. Let me give you another example, survival foods. What's the first thing that you're warned in survival escape innovation? Yes, you can eat rabbit, but eat something else with it or you will start purely on a diet of rabbit. Let's say you dropped in the middle of Australia. Remember they got the bunny, do you have the bunny plate there? How many bunnies? You could eat bunnies forever. Yeah, but if that's all you ate, the nature of the amino acids and the protein composition of the rabbit is such, you have to have other materials built in. That's why you typically will, again, vegetable skin to get the body and the itself to be able to bring and absorbing those proteins. And that's one of the things that even in the field guys, what you've got is a complete, you know, something to actually change up the food. They're carrying the food in a concentrated form. You can, yes, you can cook those beans, mash them into a paste and make re-fried beans. You can boil them up and put some pork fat in there and you got some, you got yourself pork and beans. Can you do them as just beans? We know that. But imagine just a little one step farther eight times, nine times or ten times the food value of the same thing you carried and burned calories to move. So I just want to drive that home. Survival. Survival. It's bad enough that we're going to be short everything. Now you can't sprout MREs. You can't sprout them. So just, you know, now think about this. I take a handful of rice from my one satchel, a bag. I use a bag so that it's disciplined. That's why the Vietnamese use satchel bags, guys. they ate the rice, they bagged and they cinched it with regard to noise discipline. How could you run around and not sound like a salt shaker? This is how you do it, click. Well anyway, the point is, handful of rice. My main course MRE. I don't have to use a whole meal. My, out of my sprouting bottle, my sprouting mayonnaise jar, which is a perfect choice because they've got plastic lids, they're plastic containers. You throw the water in there, you fill it solid so it doesn't slosh. After you're done and they've started to work, you drain the water, you let them sprout. carrying them, your body heat is going to help, etc. etc. Behold, and also sunshine them, there's a number of different tricks and everybody knows that. But then you turn around and you take a handful of those sprouts. My goodness, you are eating like a king. There's people at home right now that don't eat that good. There's people that are eating, well, they can't eat cat food anymore, it's too expensive. They aren't even eating that well. So just think, with a little bit of resource and brain power, how far? That is critical to the overall the field. Start thinking about this. The other half is gleaning. Now, in a patrol, you glean as you move. Now, there's two things to consider with this. If you're gleaning as you move, in other words, oh, I recognize that planet, wild onion, click. You don't even, it's just automatic motion, guys. You're picking as you move. If you're trying not to be seen and you're trying not to be tracked, obviously this is much harder and you're not going to just snip stuff off the trail that you're walking. If it's non-critical, if it's known that you're in the area, if you're already operational and you're a main force, as you move, okay, so you have to rate the controlling and you're a reconnaissance trying to maintain stealth, then you have to glide into an area where there's a cake something. Now even there's a problem because when you harvest things, you snap vines, you break stuff, that can be seen, but also, remember, when you harvest, especially when there are roots and things, in the grid for the root and you have smell. How many times you walk through an area, oh she picked some onions, think about it. Or, oh we've been cutting some mint. Why? Because the mint's bleeding. The plant's bleeding.
