Mark Koernke discussed preparedness, weapons systems, and border security operations during this evening broadcast. The show featured a caller from Texas promoting discounted Bulgarian AK magazines from AIM Surplus, followed by extensive discussion of rifle systems (PTR-91, PTR-32KF), web gear, and cleaning kits available through Maine Military. Koernke emphasized the importance of training, ambidextrous shooting, bayonets, and NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) defense equipment. The latter portion featured HD from Arizona detailing volunteer opportunities and operational updates for Arizona militia border deployment, including needs for mechanics, construction workers, and supply donations, with operations already underway as of late July.
Live 365 Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the supreme law of the land. Preserve our great Republic and each God given right. And pray to God. To keep the torch of freedom burning bright As Iowocke vanished in the mist from whence he came His words were true, we are not free But we have ourselves to blame For even now as tyrants trample each God given right We only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep And wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep What would be your answer? Dom's going to make the extend the perimeter right now for a few minutes. We're going to control more than you might anticipate there. Thank you, sir. Be right back. And we have a caller. Who do we have? This is Ken down in Texas, Mark. Hey, Ken. You got some information for us now. What I was bringing up, we ran out of time because we were kind of, we've been on the run all day today. I just got to say that, guys. It's been nonstop, but it's been good, good. A lot of stuff accomplished today. But I was checking out AIM surplus, AIM surplus dot com. AIM surplus dot com. AIM surplus dot com. AIM surplus dot com. And they've got a sale, or it's a special, they've got a pile of these Bulgarian, they call them bullet mags, because they have a little bullet silhouette on the slab side of the magazine. and they're 5.95 a piece if you buy 1 to 10 and 4.95 a piece if you buy more than 10. Well obviously you want to buy more than 10 because that's like getting a couple mags for free. So that's a good price but you've actually had a little bit of experience with these. What do you think of them? I think they're great. I bought them from CDNN. We made them for $10 a piece. I needed them then though so I had to get them. I couldn't get a fantastic mag. Very rugged. Just fine. Cycle fine. I also bought the order twenty round magazines so you can get lower to the ground my treatment locked in the national deals from perfect now again the the thing is i don't think you don't want to walk directly about the fact that probably are open they will but i think we're gonna put it down real quick here uh... they've not been this cheap i don't know why they are if they got a heck of a deal on a big pile of them uh... but at that price you can afford to put some spares away one of my things is these are a plastic mag so there's less to go wrong if you put them in storage which is a consideration if you're looking for cashing and again that you can put them away blew them up do everything you know store for long-term storage bagam up blew them up bagel up will you know lube bag there we go reverse process lube bag lube bag and then pack them up however you want to and these things would be ready to roll. I was just curious about longevity on them but pay for $5, $6 a piece, you can't really beat it. I mean I eliminate the nickel factor. That's one thing that always bothers me is, and they're $4.95 a piece. You mean $5? No, they're $4.99. No, they're $5. I mean I appreciate how that works, people that try to move their stuff. It's one of those little tricks that's been used for years, but it's still a good price. So for everybody out there listening, you go to AIMSurplus.com. Then you go to, it says, magazines. So off to the left side, there's going to be a whole bunch of little ad blocks, like title blocks. There are closeouts, news, new accessories, ammunition, rifles, handguns. So the last one is magazines. You tap mags and it goes, little pictures here with all the icons, 15 round mil-spec, 30 carbine mags, those are good price, and they're $10 a piece. But then they've got AK type rifle mags, you click that and then it jumps to, the first one is bullet, it's Bulgarian bullet, 30 round AK-47 mags, tap that one. and it's $5.95 a piece if you buy one to ten and ten or more for $4.95 they have some good pictures of these so if anybody wants to see them one thing I will say about AIM they do a photo essay on the product so if you scroll if you go to that picture you can look down below you'll have one two three four different images to take a look at you know to be able to see visualize the window of the magazine which is pretty good Again, they looked serviceable enough to me. Maybe some people thought having the bullet outline on the side of the magazine, the magazine's lab was inappropriate. I don't know why. It's a magazine anyway. It's a magazine for an ambulance? Perfect. What do you mean? That's what you put in this box. Look, they're not on the outside. That's what you put in there, one of those things. What looks like that? In the box, the cardboard box. So they're cool and in that respect this is a good price 5.95 a piece I don't know how long the last of them have it's new Bulgarian made They do have Bulgarian steel mags They also have EMA tactical AK mag release which is a little bit of extender a little more of a heavy thumb push system they have surplus AK-74 mags for about 13 apiece and they've got other Euro AK mags for about 10 that are steel that are used. Hey, you know what, they'll work. They do have the 20-rounder Hungarians also in AK. So you have an option here, and you may just want the $6 mags. I understand that. So go to town on that one. The other thing that's really neat here at AIM is they do have some 7.62x54R Polish ammo in the stripper clips. So for anybody out there who does, I don't have any stripper clips. Well, you can buy them with the ammo on them. And there's the direction ahead. So it's Polish, 1950s light ball, 600 rounds per case, that's 300 rounds per can. And it's in the stripper clips, it's the World War II type German steel finish on the outside of the case, copper washed steel bullet, I'm sure. Light ball, more than serviceable enough. I've shot a lot of this over the years. I have never had a problem or a misfire with this ammo. So this is a recommendation. It's a good load. Anyway, what else you got down there happening in your neck of the woods? Anything exciting? Anything jumping out? Nothing exciting and jumping out this far north, but the temperature is 40 days, so inside we're going to stay colder. Well, we're not getting 100, but we are staying warm here. In fact, we've had these waves of cloud, which right now it looks like, well, maybe another hour and a half. We'll get some rain. But it's been threatening, but just hasn't hit wave after wave of heat with the humidity, which It's summertime here, guys. You guys are supposed to frag down there. That's exactly what we're doing. On the pavement. The hood of the car, house, doesn't matter. It'll fry an egg. Look at the hood of the car. You've got to get away with it. Spam! What are you, all hot? You have lunch and you don't have to go anywhere. It's right there on the hood. That's right. I'll tell you the interesting thing, too, is we've got a lot of people that are responding to go down on the border. Anything, any discussion about the Texas border at all? Have you heard anything? I know the Arizona corridor, I think that's the big challenge. Texas has got, to a certain degree, it's applying itself. Arizona has got some major uphill battles because obviously the bad guys are focusing on making that their drug mafia corridor. I mean, just finishing it up the rest of the way. It's already been that way, but they're just getting everybody's face. The first thing that I've seen today was probably the best example. More and more people are becoming disgusted. They're not disgusted with Arizona. They're disgusted with the federal government for acting the way it is against Arizona and its failure to act to secure the border. Well, it's not just against Arizona. Well, an interesting thing too is, you know, somebody, and again, if you wait long enough to bring gears will work. And what was funny is without any coaching, all I do is just we start talking as one person, and well, two people, because no, I can't say who the other person was. It's too focused. But in both cases, both the people said the same thing, which means this is on the lips of a lot of people. Here we cavity search Graham at the airport, which you know we've talked about many times, and yet the southern border is wide open, then why bother with Graham? Why bother with all this rinky-dink stuff, all this BS, all the other stuff? Purely it's to attack the liberty of the people, because the border is wide open. And anybody understands operations, guys? Wholesale transport by ground is one of the cheapest ways to get anything moved. The cheapest way is ship. And that's already how they get the dope over here to the continent. That doesn't mean they aren't using planes, but ship is still the most common and they're using that every day. But once they get it on the land here, if you're not securing the border, guess what? It's not a screen door. A screen door would keep some things out. It's a ratty screen door because there are whole elements of the aluminum, we're not talking plastic screens, it's like acid for blood. There are whole elements of the screen that have literally been eaten right away. It's just a wash. It's a sad and livid joke to all the other places where they're even trying to do something. Or again, with the whole fake war on terror, it has nothing to do with the war on terror. It's a war on the American people. and that's one of the weapons they're using against us is that border situation. Anyway, what else you got for us? Go ahead, please. That was it, Mark. Have yourself a good day. I can get out of here and run, start moving down. Well, thank you for the important thing. And again, we'll remind everybody too, oh, we better give the number out for that. 888-748-5252. God bless. Take it easy. All right, thank you. Goodbye. Okay, bye-bye. If you haven't seen this, it's $6 a piece of AK mags. They don't know how long they're going to last. They're brand new. They're Bulgarian. They call them bullet mags because they have literally a cartridge silhouette on the body of the magazine. Actually about every third cartridge. so in a way i can create a rebound the weapon for gripping it which is kind of neat nothing real bulky not real real jump out but interesting designer interesting idea and uh... perhaps for marketing perhaps for you know again my marshall inspiration we look at it but because it's a good but would assume that vulgar into making it for themselves so anyway uh... aim surplus a at a i am f u r p l u s in surplus 888-748-5252. That's 888-748-5252. Tell them you heard about the mags. Hey, this helps us out. The Intel report, they're not a sponsor, but let's kind of rub that in and maybe they would like to be. In fact, tell them they should be, as a matter of fact. It wouldn't hurt. A lot of other items there too. You want to go through the web page. Let's not forget that we have Main Military, which is the sponsor for the Intel Report. And a lot of guys have been asking about gear for down there on the border. I will repeat again, and I'm going to keep reinforcing this. Take a look at the pictures at arizona-militia.com, arizona-militia.com, arizona-militia.com. Both the Advantage and the ACU work well down there. The ACU, it's one of the few places where the ACU actually does work. The only place I'd use ACU up here would be for winter operations because it's got enough white-gray in it that it would do well in the woods. Shading for the tree trunks, that might stand out under certain conditions. If there's a lot of snow on the ground, the ACU here would work for snow. Otherwise, rocky, pebbly ground with a gray base or a gray lime in quartz. That's what they're looking at. Plus they got a lot of scab rock or broken away rock down there that's in pebble form and stick form and stone form and every shape you can imagine. So those colors, both the advantage because of the scrub brush coloration below, which mixes with the soil, those colors work very well. If you want ACU Web Gear, ACU MOLLE Gear, Maine military has got a really cool package, $139.95 for three brand new ACU MOLLE vests with pouches. It's a single package, it's a starter kit. If you go into and look at all of the other stuff they have, they've got ACU camo in other pouches to add to the rig. They're fairly cheap and reasonably priced and again would complement the rig quite nicely. you can also consider donating uh... three of these i would be of again i know it's a hundred forty dollars but uh... arizona militia of the units down there in the volunteers are showing up some of them need everything top to bottom you providing that would help a lot well there's another way you can you can pitch in now it goes right down to the arizona militia in fact uh... believe there's free shipping with the best a catch that out That's a great way to save a few pennies when it comes to the donation. But it can be partial gear. It can be pistol belts. It can be suspenders. Go to the main military LTR specials section. Take a look at the gear that's there. Pistol belts, sui-suspenders, basic mag pouches, everything else they need is sitting there on the page if you look around. So, if you're looking to rebuild your 510 program, if you're looking to expand and train and teach people at your end, you're going to need the web gear to go along with the weapon systems. It's not all just arms and ammunition. You've got to have something to carry it in that's going to work. And it's affordable. It's a combination of affordable and ergonomically correct. Hopefully we gave you a solution there. We're almost at the bottom of the hour here. So, I don't want to leave this out that the main military also of course does carry quite a few weapons and the p t r of series of rifles are now pretty much available guys in fact uh... one company that has a m amazingly enough is main military and uh... they do a great job of keeping stuff in stock PTR-91 is the base rifle. That's the system that made the company or brought the company up and online in a very short period of time. The HK-91 is the .308 battle rifle. All those beautiful HK-91 dollar to two dollar mags available through Maine military will work on the PTR-91. There you go. So there's a solution. Now the other consideration here is guys that If you're looking at picking up the PTRs, if you want to ask questions, ask the people that are most likely to have some idea of how they work. Why? Because they're carrying them. Think about it. They've got them. They actually have them physically in stock. They haven't just heard about them. There's a lot of companies out there that have heard about the systems but have to custom order because they don't have a connect for them. and the PTR-32KF is the model that for a lot of you you might be interested in. Certainly it's more expensive than most the AKs out there until you get in the middle of the high-end AKs, but about $1,000 for the rifle and it is, again, it's very well made, very well executed. 62x39, and instead of taking some buggered up weird, probably not able to find it over again, HK Magazine, like HK's done so many times with its screwed shooters, This PTR 32 actually uses AK mags. Those $6 piece AK mags will help you to shave down some of the prices. Oh, and those are Bulgarian mags, by the way. Wait a minute. That's kind of cool. The reason I bring that up is because all of our testers have confirmed that for sure the Bulgarian mags, which is what comes with the PTR 32, flawlessly. In fact, one thing that the guys said, and this is a great compliment for people that I would trust my life and my family's life to, the testers have all said the same thing. They've shot the snot out of these PTR-32s, they have tested and experimented with them, and they are staying in their inventory. They're not going to sell them, they're not going to get rid of them, they're not going to pass them on to somebody else. They like them. That's a compliment from people who carry AKs, AR-15s, and a whole lot of other rifles to include the M14 on a regular basis. and uh... they love the f and f a l but uh... this particular h k design all the features function everything functioned flawlessly they tested these rifles with every density of their words junk ammo you could think of a safe stuff up as funky they look for stuff that doesn't work well they want to see how the weapon will function with all the weird ammunition you're going to run into out there on the battlefield or under different conditions okay so they've tested them out i trust these men have good high confidence in their performance i believe that one of the valuations may be up on uh... survival blog dot com which is james wesley rolls uh... page survival blog dot com survival blog dot com James W. Waltz. Go through there, fish around a little bit, look for PTR 32 evaluations. You'll see some interesting write-ups around other weapons. James wrote the book, Patriot Surviving the Coming Collapse, if you don't have a kit. In fact, if you have got somebody, I'm going to recommend something. And if they don't, if they go stupid after you give them this book to read, uh... walk away don't waste anymore air on them it's just not worth the time but uh... get a copy of patriots surviving the coming collapse and give it to somebody to read use it as an instruction piece you know people to be reading something don't don't give him a vampire book man who need what we're going to have a higher wall now we don't need a vampire book but i guess you would probably could rewrite a little bit so that vampires are and they all die because we have to not kill off But it doesn't have vampires. It's a very good training name. It was written as a storyline, but it's designed so that every page offers you ideas or explains to you problems and solutions. Things you're going to have to look at that will be a problem and how you will have to deal with it. So it's Patriots Surviving the Coming Collapse by James Wesley Rawls. Go to survivalblog.survivalblog.com. and click that on and you can go to the uh... there's an ordering section there for goodies and guess what you can order the book cheaper there than any place else and i highly recommend you get it from the author uh... we've offered the book on occasion as a way to help support uh... the intel report liberty tree radio and i want to thank you for that but we don't have any copies right now per se to sell so i would say get it from the guy It's urgent that you get a copy and read it. Let me put it that way, please. If you're listening and you're a new listener and you're looking for pathways, go get Patriots Surviving the Coming Collapse by James Wesley Rawls. To access a copy of the book, go to survivalblog.com. how to book and it's done a pretty good story line in the process be creative here to another thing that we're noticing and again i i don't want to hear about him and going oh mark so everything i had about one of our guys where we have come to provide not for selling uh... remember to that yes you may be old dumped everything you had you got one really good weapon but you can't share a firearm If you have multiple people to outfit, you're going to have to do the math, but you're going to have to make things overlap and work accordingly. I know how pressurizing your wallets are right now especially, but be selective. Skimp in other areas as far as what you're buying, including eating meals. Seriously. We've done this in the past. It used to be a tradition in America. You know what? If you want what you want, then you're going to find a way to get it legitimately and you're going to do it with need be by skimping and scraping and saving and whatever. Well, we got to do a little faster now too. So if you got to do a little less in other categories, live with it for a bit. You can make up in splurge later once you've got the weapon up and online and then where it needs to be. Take the time and pull the resources off the shelves out there in the system as quick as you can. We need everybody to a particular level of preparedness. uh... another thing main military before forget main military i don't know how many they have left but they still have a couple of a different military cleaning kits and one of the nice things about these p t r ninety one switch is also true of your eight k's guys uh... just because of the h k ninety one cleaning kit doesn't mean it won't work in your seven six two by thirty nine rifle all yeah Yeah, those are really nice cleaning kits very simple very straightforward They work with the standard 308 NATO rifle, you know 762 by 51 HK 91 set me rifles FNF als well guess what that's 762 by 39 30 caliber all the cleaning gear in there will work just Fine for that 762 by 39 rifle you got laid over there in the inventory so take the time check them out on down what you need and get spares one thing to remember the rifles were designed in the systems are designed to the cleaning kit wear out we don't want the wound we want the barrel coming out of all the way out the some strange dimension so the quality of the cleaning kit are such that they're supposed to where rather than break down the weapon now any contact or abrasive surface or even non-embrasive surface working across a piece of metal is going to change dimensions of the metal just how it works. It's why lapping tools and such work the way that they do or brushing tools work the way that they work when it comes to cleaning up an area on a weapon. The little abrasive areas do their job, but they also, of course, give a bit too. So you need to think that through and make sure that you've got spares of what it is that you're going to be using a lot of. Bare cleaning kits need to be in your reserve cache. Cleaning rod components, somebody gets rid of something, has parts and pieces. collect them all, put them into a utility bag based upon what they're compatible with. Don't have them set up so people start trying to cross thread stuff. You know, I know it's supposed to work. Oh, I'm my favorite. Snap. What was that? Oh, nothing. We're all fine here. Everything's okay. How are you? I'm fine. What was that cracking noise I heard? Well, uh, no, I don't want that. And again, remember to inform somebody if something looks like that anyway or a piece of equipment malfunctions. because it could be critical to saving your life again. Take the time, get hold of the guys down there, check to see what's going on. If you're going to be mobilizing with the rest of the troops here in the up and coming August to September exercise slash deployment, well, make sure that you've got your water squared away. Look at some of the instructional classes that are being done by the guys down there and incorporate what they're recommending into your kit. Remember before, not once you get down there, before you get there. You've got time, you need to organize accordingly. Another thing about training with weapons, and this has to do with something Dom was bringing up about an ambidextrous shooting. In other words, from left to right and right to left, depending upon what your background is and how you're trained. If you're a right-handed shooter, you need to concentrate on conditioning your mind to operating that weapon with a left hand, if you're right-handed, and vice versa. I know that this is a little hard for some people. Guess what? You're going to have to think it through and decide whether or not this is an option for you. as far as how we set things up. But in each case, depending upon how much of your body you want to expose, it's determined by how well you've trained and performed beforehand. The other thing to remember is we're heavily conditioned by holly weird. So the homie shoot combined with jumping up like a silhouette waiting to see who's going to shoot you is not going to work. You're going to be very short-lived out of the battlefield. You're not going to be around to be educating or aggravating anybody. It just doesn't happen. Somebody's finally going to decide they've had enough from there. You can ski to bike, and besides you're not biting anyway, you keep missing. And so they're going to swap back really hard. So that's why we need to stay focused and again, put our troops together, identify the threat, and neutralize it a quick. Spare ammunition is one of the things that's tied in with that. And you'll notice that this Polish stuff, for instance, right now is coming in in 10s that are still half of the 300 rounds total for the can. We'll find out more about that and give you a spec on what the final price is going to be, but especially for any of the components coming from these different companies, spare parts that are needed, do a price evaluation, a price quote so that your wallet isn't crunched all that badly. See what it is you can afford in phases. Don't overspend, but also if you see something where, like we mentioned these mags earlier, and you can pick them up for Well, $5.95 a piece, that's a good price, but if you can just scrape a little more money together, ten of them are $4.95 a piece. Guys, that means you're getting basically five mags for free. Or forgive me, well, two mags for free out of that ten. And we can look at the other price. So it behooves you to make the effort to... The nice thing is the cut-off price on that, for instance, is But there's an example we were just talking about earlier. Price, you know, taking advantage of price ranging and then again building up when you can. Cleaning kits the same way. Banettes, something I haven't mentioned in a while. If your rifle takes a bayonet, if your rifle has a bayonet lug, get the bayonet for it. Now, does it need to be brand new and pristine and a $180 bayonet? No. example, your AK-74 or your AK-47, there are some beautiful surplus Russian, Bulgarian, and Romanian banettes out there that are very reasonably priced. You have to look to see who has the best price. But remember that that banette is an awfully useful utility tool in a steel that probably exceeds pretty much anything made to present day. It may not be anything fancy. It may actually be a production banette that, by comparison, isn't very sophisticated. But remember that it is. this kid enough to get the job. So we do have a lot of work ahead of us and there's a solution to the problem. By the way, nice fighting knife, but also a nice utility work knife, which is what a lot of people use them for. You can open cans with them. As a matter of fact, I know guys are used to it every day. So yes, the Bowie type blade, we'll weld the can opener and we'll get the job. So don't worry about not being able The biggest thing is little practice. You don't end up stabbing yourself or anybody else near you with that utensil you're using on those surfaces. And again, this should be too hard to figure out. Other things having to do with bayonets. Guys, if you do pick up a bayonet, do the maintenance on it. He goes, what? What kind of maintenance could it be at a bayonet? Well, isn't there a little plunger springy pushy button thingy? Are there side slab plates to the grip for the bayonet? Well, if it's been in storage, it'd probably be a real good idea to disassemble those slab grips, very carefully take them apart, and watch and look for debris or junk stored underneath the grips, or that's slid underneath the grips and has created oxidation. Most common problem with rifles that have been sitting and they've been passed on and used over and over again, but they may not have been. Anyway, I heard a click. Do we have a caller? Very good. We just have a patient. I think there's less than a problem. I'll tell you what. The other thing about this with regard to any kind of spares, especially since some people are thinking, what are you thinking of spare bayonets? Hey guys, they make a nice fighting or a yield knife or utility knife. The wire cutting Belgian Romanian bayonets that are out there, and there's a mix of different sizes and types. If they have the wire cutter, they're real wire cutters. The quality of the tool, you've got to remember, it's not a brand new item, it's something that's been in service for anywhere from 20 to 25 to 30 years. Hey, wait a minute, that means it should be broken in. Yeah, it's probably broken in, but at the very least it's an effective tool, an effective weapon that can be used quickly to deal with a whole lot of other things. So just take that into consideration. You're going to have to be creative on that. I can't do that. And of course, our Ustream is off for the moment. Or I could probably demonstrate a few things just the whole idea of how you can effectively control something utilizing the bayonet. And by the way, not only is the blade a weapon on the bayonet, everybody's like, huh? Well, the second blade is available because you may have the sheath sitting there on the right side of the body back where we told everybody traditionally stationed it. But the fact of the matter is a lot of people are carrying comparable systems. that are as good as that which is the being used by the land navigator or by the other infantry involved in a formation. If that's the case, they're going to be completely, or you're going to, completely kit out top to bottom of all of what we've been just listing. You have to make sure that it's squared away. If you're transiting from one weapon system to the next, which happens quite a bit with units that are, quote, good terms, upgrading that we're seeing nowadays. Before you get caught flat-footed, before you end up with short in an area, Make a list of what you need based upon what we've talked about. Go into these different sites. Do a quick hasty shopping list. Get a percentage of everything that you need while you can. I understand you may have to be conservative. I expect that. But if at all possible, again, one of or some of everything that's on the shopping list as far as things that need to be taken care of, things need to be replaced. We address this in a lot of the equipping videos. We address this. In fact, unfortunately, we've got another video that's ready to go. Guys, we tried to load it, there's just a little buggery of a problem there. What a surprise. So we're going to see what we can do to get up on ViewFlicks. Later on tonight will be after 9 o'clock in the evening. So keep an eye on the web page. And watch what's going on, keep an eye on our YouTube page. We will have a new video posted at SAP. We can do get that done. And it covers a percentage of this. We'll be covering some of what we're talking about right now. Other things, beyond the bayonets, hey. Banets have frogs. No, not those kinds of frogs. Banets have carrier systems. Now, one of the things to watch is that, remember, for instance, the Russian equipment was built around the Russian leather utility belt. It depends on what year, as far as the thickness of the cut for the hanging instruments that you have, the frogs that hold the equipment. They also have frogs that hold your weapon. your bayonet. Well, take a look and consider patterning a replacement if need be so it fits the belt system that you may have adapted or may have adopted or set your web gear. Even if you're using the MOLLE gear, a lot of them have the keepers to use a standard pistol belt. We know how that works. And you want to make sure that it's properly secured so that it doesn't get away on you. There's a couple upper chest systems that work. There's a couple lower systems that work. In each case, all of these are designed to keep everything from bouncing off you, from discharging from you when they're not supposed. I would highly recommend that again you take a look at what it is that's going to fit your budget and bring you back up to snuff or back to where you think you want to be when the time comes. There's a long list. The problem is we've been doing this. I just did a whole bunch of troops here. uh... few days ago just throw through the box it went down range and presently it's heading on down to arizona and uh... this is going to happen again the next year toward going to be you know going down the shopping list of the checklist so to speak we don't have it all here so people are going to have to be you know shopping from around the country or you know paying attention what they can find their backyard through other sources and uh... and then act accordingly but move quickly The clock is ticking down and one of the things that I see is the bad guys are going to try and affect the supply system. We know that. It's not an effort, it's just a win. Tie this in with some of the other NBC training that's going on guys. As we know, we're into August, September, October, November. Uh oh, what happens in November? Oh yeah, you know what happens in November. So in the meantime, the bad guys are getting panicky. So, are they going to chem one of the areas or chem communities? Well, at least they got some money flying in that direction. We aren't lost to that. But the best thing you can do there is prepare yourselves and ensure that your own NBC nuclear, biological, and chemical defense technologies are up and online. If you haven't tested your rigs out, you need to. If you took the time and bought the $10 L-DPM camouflage chem suits, and you haven't tested one, I recommend that now you spend the money, or let's put it this way, you're not gonna spend the money because you're not gonna damage them or break them, they're still useful, but open one up and take it out of the package and test it. They demonstrate to everybody what it does, okay? Once you get a chance to put that together, organize it properly, then you've got it so everybody can see it, take a look at it, figure out what it does, then take the time to sit down and show everybody else how it works. It's a solution to a problem. Why? Well, again, like everything else, most of you probably haven't handled the chem suit systems. You need to. Anyway, the chem suits can also be used as clothing. So once you get a chance to see how they work and you understand what I'm talking about, you're going to go, hey, yeah, these are pretty comfortable. They work out pretty well. All right. Anyway. The situation, the way it stands, we've gone through the short list, we've got the long list, you have a whole bunch of lists. With the chem suit system, I'm looking at something else here. I see the Mark 3's and the Mark 4's still available through main military. The Mark 4's make very comfortable cold weather or like cold weather gear. The Mark 5's, same thing, but they're a different cut. One has an Anaract, the other one is a Velcro snap up front type. And we've got a friend of ours, by the way, stopping in. We're waving and saying hi. We were going to put everything together from this end to try and do a little video on this, by the way. So it's one thing I haven't done. Like, I don't have a million things to do as it is. Looking at the chem suits, the Mark IVs, we want to show them, I need a review. It is on the NBC tape, but I want to do a short version of this for clothing. It's the one thing we didn't touch on, is the clothing issue. So I'm probably going to addend this in a way, but do it as a view flick slash YouTube video so that everybody will watch it there and then just give you some ideas. One of the things to remember, a little trick is if you're going to use the chem suit for clothing, step one is you may have used it as a chem suit and then you found the threat levels non-existent, the threat level was low at CSCN, something like that. If that's the case, what you do is you throw the rig in the wash, you wash the charcoal out. This is what a lot of guys did over in Korea, we did this up north when we were in the military because we needed clothing to get under the deuce and a half with. We needed cold weather gear, we could move around in, it was easy to wear. comfortable and you know to not to be able to articulate him and uh... the chem suits for the solution they keep all the body heat in uh... what we did is typically wash the charcoal a little bit and uh... you total washer not your washer thrown a utility washer somewhere and uh... what the charcoal flow what you get left is the filament of full material and you've got the uh... outer garment Well, guess what? You still get the insulation capability, still build up the heat just like chem suits notorious for. But now you've got a lightweight or medium-weight piece of gear that's a little more, you know, again into that transition period. Where you may not have quite have snow on the ground, but you're getting some crisp weather. So again, ideas, not just, you know, complaining about the problems. And what if that after the weapons? Well, you're the first weapon, you're the weapons platform, guys, you figured out. Make you disappear. Why the DPM camouflage is the choice. uh... but everything else kind of follows a tool hard to find all will detail items if we get rid of marks carcass as far as being obvious on the in the environment camouflage does work it does help uh... it just matter making sure the color ranges match the rest of the system another thing about that one laddie adding other layers be prepared to have to open up your web gear a little bit uh... you restrict breathing you can see choke points with regard to moisture and circulation and you've got to be very very careful about Okay, so anyway, we still have about oh my goodness about 10 minutes at the most maybe not even that and Next thing on the agenda was linked ammunition If now you don't have to do this But if you have linked ammunition you're pulling the links on the ammo and you're not going to use them for anything You don't have a friend that has the links that you're you know accumulating But you want a place to send them, then I recommend send them to PBN PO Box 194, Dexter, Michigan 48130. Again, that's PBN PO Box 194, Dexter, Michigan 8130. Take the time, if you would, throw the links into a bag, throw them into a box, make sure it plays it. That bag would be cool. Baggy with a bread tie spine. and if you have any links that you don't want, guides that you don't want, whatever, because just, oh, I'm not going to use those. We'll make sure they go to where they need to go. Oh, yeah, that's right. What we'll do is we'll make sure that they're routed to a user where it will be useful. the troops are out there to quit and squared away with the time comes and those people have special technology they may have brought home or something you just liberated from some bad european or asian person who thought they were to come over here and rape kill pillage burn well will have the spares and goodies we need to keep the machine fed uh... you know a lot of guys have certain weapons that already compatible in the system in that ammunition that caliber range but uh... more would be better fire team leaders will be doling out for the link demo because part of your squad support system and everybody's going to be distributing the weight accordingly so you'll be using the link just like everybody else. You're going to be firing them but you'll gain the support of that weapon system and that's critical for overall survival. I heard a beep. Who do we have? HD and AZ. Hey, HD, jump in there, sir. Go ahead. I was just listening and you mentioned breaking out one Mark IV to use for training purposes. We actually did that. during our April FTX that we did alongside Mike Neser's crew out not far from where that deputy was ambushed a couple of weeks afterwards. But we had a number of the Mark IV suits. We knew that Mike wanted to conduct NDC training, so we brought a Mark IV suit in the package, actually two suits in the package, and we passed them around so everybody could see what the packages looked like. once they would order them from main military and how they would be how they'd be arriving if i get to handle it or but i think the feel the weight of it we had a demonstrator post and uh... he came up there and cracked it open while everybody watched me kid up in complete cancer so everybody got to see how it actually unfolds from the package and what the issues are with getting it on and how it's it's not going to be happening quickly everybody got a real good training exercise out of that that little minor sacrifice of opening up a mark for suit which then get put gets put right back into a plastic garbage bag and filled up for use later after we're done with training so nothing was lost nothing was was uh... was uh... you know beyond recovery we still got that suit actually sitting in the room next where i'm at right now still in the plastic garbage bag and years we can tell nothing wrong with it from this point just not as neatly packaged as it was before uh... y'all were talking earlier about choice of arms uh... for deployment to arizona everybody who has gone to the website at w w w dot Arizona militia dot com should by now have clicked on the leaders recon to see the pictorial It gives you an idea of the rapidly changing terrain and vegetation that we're going to encounter in this particular area of operations. We have sections of the AO that are long, long distances, as you can see for two, three miles. There are other areas where you can't see more than 150 yards. So what we are looking for is not one choice of arm for everybody to bring. But for everybody to bring what they feel most competent with and confident with, and then we'll integrate individuals with different types of arms into different combined arms teams. If, for example, you want to choose the AK-47 or some variant thereof, Wasserken, SA-2000, SA-86, whatever you see whatever you can't be carrying your shipment seven point six to thirty nine round you're probably going to be put on the team carries same caliber and one is same max for instance if you're carrying a three oh eight bolt-action scope sight rifle you might get under that same team because they're going to need a designated marksman who can ping those targets at longer distance we're not going to exclude anybody because of their choice of weapon The individual that we are considering right now to become our medical operations officer has made a choice because of that particular position and her particular set of skills. Being a physician, being medically trained, she doesn't see herself being engaged in direct conflict, but she recognizes the need to be able to protect herself. So she's elected to carry a short-barreled M4. This is actually not necessarily an M4 since it doesn't have a buttstock and the barrel is less than 16 inches, it's technically a pistol. It doesn't look like a pistol, but it's classified as a pistol. And that was for a particular choice for a short portable arm that she could carry with her wherever she was doing her duties while she was in the field. But being on the medical side of things, she's going to be in a rear area, she's not going to be directly involved in patrolling or conflict, but she recognizes the need protect yourself there's room for every type of weapons system out there in this time don't think because you don't have the latest and greatest doohickey off the shelf don't have the rails hanging off the end of your in forgery but you can't participate we have one fella whose former ud team prior to the scene this is one of the old timers prior to jesse ventera's time women when the fields were called ud teams That's old school stuff. He's bringing a 4440 Marlin. That's his particular choice. And he said, do I need to buy an AR-15? And I said, no. Bring what you can hit with and what you feel confident and confident with. So don't feel that because you don't have the latest on that you're not going to be included. You are going to be included. We're going to put people into positions where they can be the most benefit to the overall effort. Along those lines, we still need volunteer mechanics who are willing to come down to Tucson. and work on the 12 or 13 different tactical vehicles that are sitting in the shop right now. We have a Humvee that needs to have the frame replaced. The frame's been prepped. We just need some mechanics in there to actually do the swap. We have two and a half that need to be worked on in Pima County. We have Unimox that need to be worked on. We've had a fellow offer to loan us his Doon Rail and his M880 pickup truck. We have another fellow who has offered to donate a cheap if we can transport it down to Tucson for him and let the mechanics give it the one over. So we have a lot of different skill sets that are needed, but we do need mechanics in order to get those tactical vehicles PMed and ready for this fall. Our original plan was to not start building up and conducting operations on the ground until late September as a result of the leaders recon which took place the weekend before last twenty fourth and twenty fifth of july we went down there so many people showed up a third of them volunteered to stay on site at the central f ob and start construction work at the end of that we should recon they started down the twenty fifth they've left their their but hanging out in the breeze but they are willing to take that risk in order to get a head start on the construction work that needs to be done. We've got construction volunteers down there right now. We've got security volunteers down there right now. We don't have enough of either. So rather than start this in September, it started two weeks ago. So anybody who wants to volunteer, we are short on manpower, but we're also short on logistics. We cannot afford to feed the people who are down there now they're having to feed themselves so if you're going to come down there whatever length of time into one week rotation media to be quotation whatever bring enough supplies staying yourself in the field for the duration of your stay contact me through the website we will get you scheduled on the one the rotations uh... we've got somebody transporting lumber down there this weekend we use for the construction they can't go to the f o p and just uh... uh... rolled down the road and suddenly show up notice all has to be coordinated they have to go to the motor pool they have to be briefed they have to link up with the security team that will escort them down there area that that we went into so hot pima county commander during leaders recon gave us weapons hot command second we exited off of the interstate the area is that that make no mistake this is a hot zone people not this is not a drill not training this is the real world this is life or death so if you want to volunteer contact me to the website at w w w dot arizona militia dot com once again that is w w w dot arizona militia dot com arizona militia dot com if you'd like to donate or you'd like to put that place start reach me directly if you have questions my email address actually our organization we will address is arizona militia act hushmail dot com that arizona militia at hushcom Arizona militia hushmail dot com last thing mark we have changed the shipping address for donations we've shifted the in the incoming uh... donations to the headquarters no longer going directly to pima county they've got a lot of stuff they need to sort through before they get any more in We still need to distribute donated supplies to all of the other units from Arizona that will be going to the border this fall. We have units in most of the counties. We have units in Yavapai County, Maricopa County, Pinal County, Hacke County, Navajo County. All of these different units are going to need some of those supplies. So we're going to centralize all of the donations at the new address that is now posted on the website. We're running short of time. I don't have time to get all that information out. I wanted to let you have a last word, Mark. Thanks very much. Back to you. Very good. Now again, for everybody paying attention, go to the webpage. There are questions answered there. I hear the music. H.D., why don't you close with me? How's that sound? Yes, sir. God bless the Republic. Just for the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. And we are on the marks both day and night. Thank you, sir. Kick them in the slaps and send them back over the fence. Whoa! And of course we've got Spike coming up I think next. Where have all the military surplus stores gone? Don't worry, you don't need one. Because everything you need at Military Surplus is at mainmilitary.com
