Mark Koernke and co-host Nancy discussed border security operations in Arizona, featuring an extended call from a militia organizer coordinating volunteer efforts along the U.S.-Mexico border near Pima County. The caller detailed Operation Defiance Sentinel, describing dedicated volunteers, logistical challenges, equipment needs, and fundraising efforts to support border patrols. The hosts emphasized communication equipment, night vision, vehicle mechanics, and supplies as critical to the mission, and urged listeners to donate funds, sponsor volunteers, or contribute gear. The second half shifted to practical preparedness topics including evasion tactics, highway safety, desert survival hazards like scorpions and snakes, and camping equipment.

A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said. We fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. Invist the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God given right we only watch him tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Dill the land of the free. Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is the intelligence report. I'm Nancy Cornke and I'm Donald Betcher. How are you Nancy? I'm doing fine I just want to make sure everybody understands we have listeners and I want to say big hello to everybody out there, north, south, east, west, and southwest. Goodness. Things are kind of heating up on the border down there, aren't they? Oh, yeah. This being Communications Tuesday, I kind of want to hit that timer kind of hard because one of the things for anybody that's going down you're going to need is communication gear. radio, whether it be CB, 2 meter, whatever you are taking, you have to make sure it is up and running and that you are meshed with everybody down there. You don't want to get off and away by yourself with everything that is going on and not have communication. Communication is critical and accurate communication is at that. At any rate, it's very critical. With everything that's going on, we've seen law enforcement shot and killed folks. If that's the environment you're going into, you need those communications as well as your firearms and the other things to sustain your life. Communication gear in this vein, it's absolutely critical to sustaining life. You need to be in contact, be able to communicate with someone immediately if you visually contact someone that you may believe is not a legal person in these United States. So that's very, very interesting. We've got to keep those things going. Of course, Don. One of the ways to engage them at a further distance so you have more time to communicate and make sure everybody is there that needs to be there is using night vision. There you go. I want to reiterate and underline what you thought. You're trying to move across there because with communication, even if you're alone, you're not really isolated. As long as you can get the message out and say, hey I'm over here. It's one of the things that Arizona cops say. You might outrun my Ford, but you won't outrun my Motorola. And that's the truth. The same goes for you. When you're on the field and you see somebody and you use that Motorola communications device, whether it be a cell phone or radio, You can go up the line in the direction they're going and they can be headed off by more of your group. So they may outrun you, but they're not going to outrun the Motorola. Well, the thing about that is you go there for a minute, you know, with a number of people who have attempted to escape an invasion over the years. Let's just leave that at that. I won't divulge any sources. Okay. But it seems like if you're in a city environment, you know, working inside block to block, that's lower speed, you guys. It's easier to get out of their site sooner. And the sooner you can get out of their site, the sooner you can change direction. Right. And the sooner you change direction, even if they're calling in people from others, that is a benefit. Now, the thing here is, and you're with your area, and you know, the gendarmes maybe aren't. You can get out of their sight and have a place to go while you're not in the line of sight. That's almost a winning situation. It's hard to outrun a radio. Right. There was one morning I got on I-75 Nancy at two minutes after six in Detroit and got off in Monroe and put five dollars worth of gas in and that was when five dollars was the half a tank of gas. And I got back on and I waved at the other Silver Corvette when I went by them and I got off at Alexis Drive, the first exit to the other side of the state line. in the morning. Let me see, that's 18 minutes plus a half a tank of gas in that 18 minutes to go, I think it's 44 or 49 miles. Uh oh. I speak from personal experience there. The way you can do that is like that's a shift change, you know what I mean? Right. Two minutes after 6 in the morning, that endeavor started and then it was done at 20 after 6. It was kind of just the person, I wanted to do that for a good long time and then one day I did. When you're looking at things like that, If you go by the guy who's sitting off in the traffic there and off in the divider or whatnot, the median, whatever they call it in your state, you don't see him until you're right on him and you've got your foot in the gas. Well, here in Michigan, if you go by him, think about this. If you're going 100 miles an hour by the time he puts it in, sometimes he even has to start the car. And if you go roaring by, so to speak, you might even be able to get an exit or even two before he gets up to, well, where did you go? Another thing about Michigan is there's some of the roads are really long and straight, but when you get downstate, some of them, they're long and straight for a while, then they curve and they go around the place where they didn't get a right of way. It looks like up here, I-75 goes straight for, but now think about that, Arizona, because I wanted to compare it to the city this way. Now Expressway, when you start running past exits, they start figuring you have a direction. You want to be somewhere so they start looking farther downstream so to speak. And the guys in the next county are closing on your tight angles because they're coming in from the intersections ahead of you so to speak. Now if you get off, if you fly down an expressway long enough, you won't be able to go off on an exit because again they'll be anticipating that won't they? Yeah. Now so if you go blowing by this copper and the best thing you can do is get off. If you can get off twice, If you go around the curve and get off, then you're leaving him guessing, aren't you? Which way did he go? Now again, that goes back over to the suburban thing. The sooner you can get out of the site, the sooner you can change direction, the better off you are. Now, this doesn't have to be a cop. This can be, well, you know, the shooting at you. If you're living in Phoenix, you might be living in fear of being kidnapped by someone who thinks you have billions and billions of dollars to give to all of his relatives down there south of the border so they can live like you used to. You know that works. Well, it shouldn't work that way, but you know, this is why people go to escape and evasion schools. I've round around a specimen, big wet surfers in there done that. At any rate, now, when you're running along, and this is a big thing in Arizona, they're starting to station cameras out there in the desert. Because you know what, when you go between X and A in Arizona, 40 miles and no exit. Wow. There might be, honest to gosh, there might be 40 miles of road and no exit, no town, no nothing. Over there, off they might see a, while there'd be little mobile homes that look like, well, I think one of them was lived in a few years ago. And you have roads like that, you guys. This is how you cannot outrun the radio and never brought that full circle. And I'm not going to elaborate and go on and on about it. But you know, there are cars. cars out there that you can buy from the factory, it's not really a Hemi, it's a pent roof. But those Hemi Chrysler, that's a 160 mile an hour car, you guys, in the charger form. In particular, if you buy the performance, because there's a number of grades and it's not really a Hemi, it's a pent roof. It's five flats, two of them being valves. It's not really a Hemi, but they're playing on history there. And in fact, that's one of the most stolen cars. Did you know that right now? The Dodge, any Dodge with a Hemi in it, because a lot of people are wanting to retrofit that motor into their old Dodge. seems like we're getting off the path here. Those are some strong motors. GM is building that new Corvette in the under trim is almost a 200 mile an hour. There's only your you're on the ground, you know, you know, that French the Gazelle a 220, 214 to 220 miles an hour. That's a single motor. Helicopter is going to go you guys. It has to do with the air moving both of them. The air moving one way over a rotor moving to limitations there. Again, if you go blowing by that guy on the highway and you think, man, well, I don't want to get a ticket and I know he's got me dead to rights and maybe he didn't have the camera on, but the big thing in Arizona right now is cameras. And while we were out West a couple of years, it's been a couple of years now, there was a big case in Phoenix that was drawn out of one of the cameras approaching Phoenix in the, in on the expressway, and this guy went by this camera so fast it was almost a blur in the car. was almost a blur, but you know what, he had his hand over his face. And you know when the sheriff picked it on that picture taker there and he looked and he got the license plate and all of this and that, he went and knocked on the guy's door and charged him with speeding. And the guy took it to court and the sheriff looked at the judge, and this was right on TV while I was there, the sheriff looked right at the judge and said, with picture, with his guy's hand over his face, he looked at the sheriff, can you tell me that that is that man and the sheriff, or just the case? Yep. But again, we could go on and on. about Generally, when was the last time it was checked to give you that less than three miles either way? If you think about that, this is one of the reasons why pressway generally, and a lot of states too, but you'll get into Ohio, break a piece of spaghetti without making just two pieces. Or throughout the state and down into Kentucky, Tennessee on the express mechanics versus mechanics. But in Michigan, a lot of people play that seven to nine mile. They bet on the expressway, the speed limit on the expressway. if he's got a good day going he won't pull you over if you're only going nine miles an hour. Right. Both late and point. You need to go out and get more money from the banks of traveling hordes of money people there. And if they got it or not, you need to take it from them. Right. Or you're sure as they salute and salute. Well, we follow orders, sir, and they go out and draw every day and take it they can. Oh, that's what we call them. We're out of new areas. They are well-beknownst. Remember about a year ago they were talking about 100 of their group of state police? Well, they had a ticket campaign. I wonder how many tickets you have to write in 90 days or 120 days in order to cover the salary of 100 stapers for a year. Their answer to that was to go into overtime and write Or is it they had a quota and the governor would make the quota and it would be a thousand percent increase. And that was like every three weeks for four months, a thousand percent increase or they were the ones being laid off. Yep. Yeah. So they had to look to them in order that they would put the... Alrighty. Well, we don't have to go on the block forever. Again, it goes over... If you're on the road, you know, CBs are still a good thing among that. CBs being an alternate form of communication. We've got so many different things you can do in your car. Now, a friend of mine just, I don't know why, but just bought a new car and he's had it for most of two weeks now and he's still reading everything on the dashboard. plug into. You can do this and you can be driving your computer while you're driving your car. And on and on but he's not that cool. Right. Which is like why do you need your Wi-Fi hooked up to your car unless you're doing business out of your car. Yeah but still you shouldn't be the person driving. No, no. See, yeah. I look at the other... Let's get that old fancy to everybody having a cell phone. Everybody's a chief executive officer now. I have to be in touch with all my people 24 hours, seven days a week. It's insane. You know, it's an ego thing and it's a rush, rush, rush. Initially it was a power thing. I'm important. I have a mobile phone because that's initially a mobile phone. They were in the car. They were in the car. It was displayed by the antenna on the car. Yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah. You don't even need that. Nope. I think I think we got a caller. Yeah. Hello caller. Hello, it's H.D. and A.C. Hey, how you doing? Well, I'm busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest. We have got all kinds of things happening. I'd like to read to y'all something that our Pima County commander sent to me, oh, I guess it was around 11.30 last night, which is about the only time he can get to his, so busy. And I'm just going to read this and let you all draw your own conclusions. I didn't ask him to send this, but it's a window into operations along our border today. He says, we are there, meaning in Pima County near the border, 24-7 doing patrols and observation. The only thing we're limited by right now is manpower. We do take the high positions and observe, but we also do take fire at times. We need observers and security teams bad. This boils down to supplies and people. We have gotten a lot of items donated, but we still need more. We won't start out for a few weeks, but there are other things that we need in order to bring more people to the border. Initially when I sent him this message, I was asking him about the plans for extending Operation Defiance Sentinel beyond the early part of November into the holiday season. Some people had asked if they could come down there and I said, well, I honestly don't know if they're going to be conducting operations during the holidays. And this was his answer. Bad guys don't take holidays, so we don't either. It's each person's sole choice and nothing more reflect negatively towards them or her in any way whatsoever for any action related to any personal choice. But the FOB is hot. Back to confrontation always. Do not get ambushed. Maintain the high ground with one fire team as support. and make sure that a cartel spotter doesn't ID you and engage you. What this pointed out to me, and all I'd asked him was, are you going to conduct operations during the holidays? But he gave me a lot more than I expected. And I have to tell you, all of you, the level of dedication that I have seen in the Pima County Unit exceeds that of some active duty units that I have served with when I was in the Army. These guys are the most highly motivated soldiers I have ever had the privilege to work with. They are bound and determined to give the enemy a run for his money, and they are risking it all to do that. On top of this, I am still getting inquiries. See you guys. Thanks to your show, thanks to the people in the chat room, thanks to all the other people out there that have spread the word. I am still getting inquiries from people, from men who are jobless, who are broke and in some cases who are homeless asking if they can come down and fight for their country. We're sending one down here shortly. He's committing himself to one year on the border minimally. This is the kind of commitment that the men in this country have and they know they're going in for the long haul. They've taken everything they have, they've put it into gear and equipment, and Don knows who I'm talking about. He spent some time with Donna. Oh, there we go. I don't have the words. I don't know what to say. That's dedication. Dedication and patriotism in a level this country hasn't seen in a very long time. Do everything that we can to feed these guys, to give them shelter, and help them in this fight. I'm going to hit everybody up here. Folks, those of you that are working and you can't leave your job, we need to spend some money so they can go out and do some grocery shopping at the local hand club, Walmart, you know, whatever. do the shopping so that there's food on the table for these men that are giving up what little bit they have to go and do this. Now I'm going to ask you to do it. Hammerdown, is there a place where people can send funds, even if the smallest amount is something? A little bit. I mean a dollar would help. That's a little bit. There is a donation form on our website at www.arizanamalicia.com. That's www.arizanamalicia.com. And if you want to send material, equipment, and supplies, we're still taking those donations. The one good news that I did get is that they have apparently reached their goal for sandbacks. and god bless all of you donated contributed uh... the last two thousand six-pack ship over and how can say that speech or how i think earlier this week so mhm they they are strong on sandbags there are crews onsite at one of the f ob's right now we initially thought that We wouldn't start doing this in earnest until this fall. We would start in late September. We would start bringing people down, either individually or cruise units that volunteered from all over our state and from other states. But we changed that. The commander on the ground made a command decision to start putting people on the ground as of We came before last when we came back to leaders recon. There were so many people that were at that and it was supposed to be just a recon. They wanted to stay. They volunteered to stay there doing the work. Some of these guys are like one guy who is from the Midwest. He would leave for like a day and go rest and recuperate at a hotel. It's been a little bit of a decade. He would only be gone for one night and he'd get a shower. get cleaned up, get a restaurant meal, get a good night's sleep, and then he'd be right back at it. He did this one time too many without taking the generator out of the back of his truck, and somebody stole his generator. Oh, wow. Yeah, that we're a shorter generator now. This didn't happen at VFOB. This happened in the supposed safety of Tucson, or one of the other small towns between VFOB and Tucson. It's just overrun with thievery and crime and probably should not have left it unsecured in the back of his truck, but now we're all paying the price because we're shorting a generator. But regardless, they are improvising, adapting, and overcoming every challenge that's thrown at them. My hat is off to these guys and I cannot tell you how proud I am of all of them. It's a special breed, that's for sure. If everyone would please go to our website www.arizona-militia.com. With all you can do is send a prayer. We would very much appreciate it. And if you want to do a little bit more, ask some others to pray. Our boys are down there sticking their necks out. Securing our border. Securing our nation folks. We are being invaded and I've said this for a while. This is literally an invasion of refugees leaving Mexico for the United States. Some of them, I'm sorry, but they're not really refugees. They want to turn America into Mexico. It's been on their agenda for quite some time. The time has come. They are killing folks down there. They are killing Americans. The first shots have been fired. It is up to us to stop it. It is that simple. Anything that we can do from around the country to help, now is your time. Now is the time to Get up and do something about it. If it means digging in your wallet or packing your stuff up and going down for a week or a month or a year, if you have the ability to do that, then do what you know you can do. It's that simple. I'm asking everybody out there, do what you can. If it means giving up a trip to the theater this week, give it up. Send that money south. Instead of going to see whatever is planned at the theater now, I don't know. If you can do that, if you can't, if you're having hard times making ends meet, folks, find one thing that you can live without this week and take the money from that and ship it down. I'm asking you to do that. I'm asking you to make a sacrifice, a small sacrifice, and it's something that we can all afford to do. be it a cup of coffee a day, whatever, take that money, set it aside, and ship it down to Arizona. I'm asking this from everybody, because if we all do that, that 60 cents a day goes the wrong way, especially in the fine of the best. Yeah, it is. Anything that you have to all consent. Things that we are seeing in terms of support are just astounding. uh... we came back from the leaders recon and fell i wrote down there with got offered the outright donation of the cheap well or issues during the fall campaign uh... we have another friends uh... was work with us in the past he's not in physical shape to come to the field with us anymore but he's offered to loan us is m eight eighty pickup truck and a one-hour rail and a dune rail Which is set up as a fast attack vehicle for our use during the campaign this fall Right now I'm trying to find a four core radiator for the M880 and trailer to haul the dune rails from Sierra Vista to Uptoosan so that our FEMA County unit can put their mechanics to work on both I'm asking the commanders of the neighboring counties to each establish faith. Yeah, I know I know that I'm just as i was saying that the neighbor county commanders establish a camps in each of their counties so that anyone who is inbound or anyone that is outbound after completing a tour they might be driving in from out of state they're going to have a safe place to park rest up before they deploy if they're leaving out a tour we don't want them getting on the road and driving cross-country while they haven't got enough sleep we'll have a safe place for them to set up camp somebody else will watch that night So we're asking each of the neighboring counties to contribute by setting up these hot of the hot zone camps, so to speak. It won't be fancy, but it'll be cheaper and probably safer than parking at a hotel. We have more volunteers popping up every day. I'm trying to coordinate their arrivals with our Pima County commanders so they can get them down to the FOB to provide security for the construction guys that are watching down there. We have one guy who is former UDT. Anybody who's familiar with that, that UDT was before the SEALs. He's the old pilot. He's the guy that trained the first SEALs. He's in his 70s. He wants to go down there. He is willing to set up camp on his own to be nasty. And we're trying to explain to him, his little van would never make it down because the road is basically a goat path to glory. And we're trying to get that M880 fixed up so when he does go down there he can take supplies with him and he'll be able to get in and out. We have more volunteers who are willing to come but don't have the means to get here. Nor the supplies to sustain themselves in the field once they arrive. If you don't want to send us money, give money to a trooper who wants to volunteer, sponsor someone. to come down here and bring back the stories of what they see. We have a fellow in Texas who's offering to sell us his stash of 223 ammo at below his cost. So right now we're trying to pass ahead among our own members to create funds. Yes, sir. Yes, I hear you. The limiting factor to that is how many off-road vehicles will be available to get people from the staging areas that we're setting up. Right to the FOVs themselves now. No, we do still need vehicle mechanics very badly we've got six Unimog's five do's and a half's a Humvee and Soon to be arriving a dune rail and M880 and the cheap all of these need mechanical work we need some mitch turners to volunteer ahead of time to get down there now and We can provide the parts You provide the tools, there's a shop where the work can be done, they're swapping the frame out on the Humvee as I speak. This is just grunt work, grunt vehicle mechanic work that needs to be done and anybody that can get down there and turn a wrench would be most appreciated. And our Pima County commanders actually offered to house and feed those mechanics because he needs them so badly. He's being pulled in every which way by logistical tasks and personnel tasks and transportation tasks and logistical tasks and on top of which he's the only vehicle mechanic that's down there. So the mechanical work that's not getting done is not getting done because there aren't enough vehicle mechanics down there. And that said, I have got to go. I wanted to give you all a heads up as to what's happening. But please, if you don't do anything else, spread the word. and ask for prayers. So our boys have got their necks stuck out on the line right now and your prayers do matter. So please folks, take a moment today to say a prayer for the boys down on the line. I've got to go y'all. Thanks for the opportunity to talk to your listening audience. Appreciate it. Thank you for your leadership and your contribution to everything that's going on right there. It means a lot to everyone from coast to coast. It's time to follow that up, isn't it? That is. You're right. Oh goodness. Another point to be made here. You guys, I sat here and like I said, that man you were talking about earlier sat right in that chair over there yesterday. He's in the chat room. Mark, hello. Mark has pointed this out, you guys. You might have a unit that some of you are working and some of you aren't and maybe some of you are married and I know there's no such word in the dictionary. Maybe some of you ain't, you know. You might want to pool your money and send one of your men from your unit down. That might be a good way to Denmark. I've brought this up a number of times. If you're working across counties, now you can work across a cup, three, four, maybe fill up a car or a van from someone of multiple counties. So you get together and you do this and that and the other thing and you make it happen. and I don't know what it's going to take. You're going to have to talk to Frank or Ralph. I don't know. Fill in the blank. You're going to have to dial that phone number. You're going to have to call the blue or the green station wagon or pickup truck or whatever. There's a general framework. There's an outline. Write your own story. This is literally write your own story. The other side of this, hammer down and some of it will be like Garth and Davy Crockett, some others. There's been a battle that's been fought. and the people who are on the front line before they are remembered unto today. That's it. So we can sit and we can say, well this needs to be done and we can hold up a sign on that and I'm told that one of the great big guys that he goes out on it and everything else and for a good long time and we have received the blind eye and the best ear on the one haven't we? It's time for action. pull their foot forward, step forward and get the job done. And there's enough of us that have lost their homes, have lost their jobs, and are kind of at a quandary, okay, I'm on unemployment, I'm pulling the jet. All I gotta do is make that phone call once a month, make sure that checks are deposited in the account automatically, the way they do it. What are you losing here? strongly that it needs to be taken care of. You've got the time stopping you. If it's money, talk to your friends, talk to your family, talk to people in the community that care about what's going on. I don't know of a single person that isn't just outraged by what's happening at the border. But nothing's being done to stop it, that these signs have gone up. warning people, don't go there, it's dangerous. Well, gah, hello, so what are we doing about it? Now is the time. If you have intestinal fortitude, the physical ability, the knowledge, and gear, even if you don't have the gear, guess what? There are people that will donate. They will give you what you need to get the job done. Find the sponsor, get yourself down there, and do the job. We can do this. It's that simple. This is a no-brainer, folks. We have the ability to do this. We have the independent spirit that you're not going to find anywhere else on the planet but in this country because we have lived liberty, freedom. We understand that we are of the age where we understand the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the people that are coming up today The kids that we're teaching understand and they're furious that things are where they're at. Let's take advantage of this time and that focus and close that border. We have the ability to do this. And with the Arizona government and law enforcement that are saying, okay, you know what, U.S. government failed us. They are now looking to the citizens because they don't have the manpower to do it. Busy giving $5.776 million to Mexico so Mexico can secure the border from the other side. How is that working? Not very well. That was a slap in the face. It was a direct insult to the people of Arizona and to the Governor. So, it is time for the militia. This is our hour to shine. Okay? That's the way I look at this. This is our time to shine. We can do the job. We can do it cheaper. We can do it better than the government. Okay? Don't let anybody tell you differently. We know. Many of the people in this movement are veterans. You know how to behave in the field, what has to be done, what you need to be there. To get there, to be there, to sustain yourself and your group. You know what it takes. We have talked about this and talked about this and talked about it so we're almost literally blue in the face. There's no reason for us not to go and get this job done. to sponsors and seeing what they can send that way. What do they have that's extra that they can let go because this needs to happen today. I cannot see the main military not stepping up to the plate on this. They have, they're way out on the limb for us, you know, as far as nobody else in the past has ever set up a special page just for our listeners. I'm so happy with that and just so impressed that they did that. But I know I can call Frank and say, Frank, we need your help. We need to make this happen. How can you help us? I know I'm going to do that tomorrow. That's all I got. If I don't twist Mark's arm because he has a closer relationship with Frank. But this would be, we can do that. And if you've got local shops near you, They are of like mind, hit them up. What the heck? Andy, because they are short gear. You have heard him say they are short gear. We need to find out what they are short on. Whether it be socks, shoes, coats. The desert may be hotter than blazes during the day, but in the evenings it gets kind of chilly out there in the desert. You have to keep that in mind. If you haven't lived it, You don't have a ghost. But how do you place it to the day but at night it can get bitterly cold? Something that ain't going to be cheap to ship and we've talked about this only well just you know not get off on and ship it. But you know what when you're sleeping in the desert it's not good to sleep on the ground. No. And if you got six you know there are some people I remember this one there were there was a basement that had like 20 cots stacked into one corner leaning up against the wall. That was many years ago, but I'm certain that there are other places. I remember another garage, Nancy, that had a bicycle that had like seven or nine seats of handlebars. You hardly ever see those anymore. Again, it's time to reach into what you hardly ever see and move it to where it needs to be. Right. I'm just thinking, our friend is heading south. something they might need. So he may have something to drag behind him. Well another thing that if you set it up right and if you get it into the right area instead of carrying fixtures with you, you tie it to this tree and you tie it to that tree and then you just go to sleep in your hammock. and that keeps you off the ground. But the thing about that is, and even like the four legs or six legs on a cot, something might climb up there. Something might climb down the rope of your hammock. Still, you don't present all of that to the ground. And it takes sailors sleeping hammocks. A lot of Navy sleep slept in a hammock. Some people can and some people can't. Just plain can't. But if you can, that might be a way to... But then again, you're depending on... You can take two big stakes. and kind of give yourself that position. If you find the right amount of distance, it's a matter of tie that rope and tie that rope and catch that sea of stuff. Yeah, it's a beautiful country down there and people think of desert in the sea of the sea. But there are trees up in the mountains and streams and they're quite beautiful but you also have things like these scorpions. So they are not the dead least of scorpions. Still they have scorpions. They have other critters that can be quite... Sometimes faster is then. One of the basic rules of thumb about scorpions is the bigger they are the less they are because they generally overpower their prey. The big ones just grab it and start tearing it apart. Sometimes they will hit their prey and even as it goes away they are holding onto it so the prey doesn't get away. That's a general rule of thumb. I'm told that great big black scorpion in Africa has got a lot of deadly poison. It's a big one. Sometimes Don will talk about something in a broad-brush statement. The American scorpions, they aren't as deadly as the smaller ones. But again, if you have that particular blood type chemistry, like someone who is allergic to a bee, that scorpion hit or that, oh, let's go. We talked a while back about snake bites. But that scorpion hit could be That's something if you have the ability. We started the front of this hour with talking about not being isolated, didn't we? Right. Even if that two man team. If somebody gets a particular place of foot or ankle or you can get hard to walk pretty quick and you've only got one person with you and now you're kind of dragging him along. You bring up a point, good boots. Yeah, gators. Yeah, gators are good. But if you want something that is going to be thickened up, rated for snakes, because you do have snakes there, in different portions of that area there are the gila monsters, which are poisonous as well. And they can be nasty, but don't go be poking around in holes. Don't go be trying to turn over a rock without knowing what's under it. In fact, the best thing to do for an area where you're going to bivouac is to clean up all the flat rocks in the daylight. Because things tend to crawl up under them in the daylight. If you pick it up while you're looking at it, it will scatter away. It will run someplace. But if you tent there at night, well then it's kind of where you camp, isn't it? It's kind of like beating down the grass or cutting down the whatever. You have to do particular things to prepare. website. Let's get real about it. It just varies from location to location. We are talking about real estate. I'll say location again. Not very true. We have to have a can-do attitude. We have to get that and cling to that once again because this is not more than we can do. By banding together and working together, we can do this thing. It's coming together a lot faster than Hammerdell was expecting or anybody else for that matter because of the economy. Actually, the economy being where it's at has actually helped in this matter because now people are at the time. They're set up with the way things have been run and have been done for so long. I can do this. I have the time, I have the training, I have the gear and the willingness to do so, I'm going to do this. And they've looked at it and studied it and researched it and understand that this thing could be over in two hours. This is going to be the long haul. Things are going to get ugly and I'm there for the long haul. That's it. This is what we're looking at here, Don. I have to hats off to the guys there in Arizona that are putting this together, that are working with the officials and making this happen. And thrilled, thrilled that they are now being welcomed with open arms. And I believe we have another caller. Hello. Hello there. Do we have a caller? It's a patient listener. That's okay. We can do that. Well, we are getting real close to the top of the aisle. I want to do this in the next hour or two. You guys, the night vision video, two disc sets, many and various examples of performance and capabilities, different situations, different sight lines and what not, examples of lasers, examples of illuminators, good long distance shadow shots, second generation, third generation, You can get the night vision video by putting $25, wrapping it in tin foil, bank note, or get a postal money order. You'd make that out to Nancy Corns. K-O-E-R-N-K. You would send that to a post office box, correct me if I'm wrong here Nancy, 194. And that's in Dexter, Michigan, where the postal zone is 48130. Thank you. Thank you. So you guys, again, pick up the night vision video. It's going to a good cause. Basically, it's one of the things if we can keep Liberty Tree Radio on the air, if we can keep a roof over the head of Liberty Tree Radio, we're keeping Liberty Tree Radio on the air right now, right? Right. That's it. Put a big check mark there on things to do. Purchase the night vision video, you guys. I don't say this because, well, gee, the night vision video is performing a mission right now. and if it doesn't go out, we're kind of hinging a number of things on it, you guys. It's the fresh, full length. It's two discs. You guys are some good music at the front, some good music at the back. Pay attention to the whole thing. I'm really happy that that music went into the front and back, Nancy. I really am. It's all, it's martial. Martial. And we are at the top. But you guys, pick up the night vision video. There's a number of ways to do it. And again, it's on a mission. to purchase the night vision video and the big help for the homestead right now. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and, speaking low to me, he said. In this, the land of the free. and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun, permits to start a business or to build a place for one.
