Mark Koernke discussed food production and preparedness strategies, including gardening techniques for July planting, bulk food storage in five-gallon pails, sprouting legumes for nutrition, and creative uses of surplus items like MRE pouches. He announced Clint Darr's funeral (a former Wolverine Militia state commander) at Barker Leake Funeral Home in Mulliken, Michigan, and provided details on weekend militia training sites and a multi-band patriotic festival in Wellington, Ohio (July 2-4). Koernke also covered field survival techniques such as using wet mesh shirts and canteen covers for evaporative cooling in hot weather, promoted NBC defense and night vision training videos available by donation, and provided contact information for emergency communications and vendor resources including MainMilitary.com and JRH Enterprises.

His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold you trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame You've taken Satan's number you traded in your name You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedom for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As Iowoki vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now his parents trampled each God-given right. We only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land? Remember your training and you will come back alive. I gotta remember to hit a switch once in a while. Well, good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. This is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report. I am Mark Kornke. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines in occupied territories, Central, West, Southwest, and South. Well, ladies and gentlemen, you were listening to us on libertytreeradio.4mg.com, pbn.4mg.com, and we are on live 365, then go to Liberty Tree Radio. We are also on AM and FM microstations, CB Bay stations, and ultra net technologies, both east and west of the Mississippi, along with southern and central Alaska. We are on the Hallmark Network on the Eastern Seaboard from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico, we over there, headed towards Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, a chunk of Nebraska, and the third of Wyoming. Also, we want to say hi to our friends in Iowa who are rebroadcasting our programming. We greatly appreciate that. A lot of work being done there, so thank you very much and appreciate the fact that we have other broadcasters and other resources such as ViewFlicks rebroadcasting our video feed even as we speak. Hi guys, and I want to say good afternoon to everybody there or whenever you're listening or watching or listening because Heck, we could be recorded a million ways and be re-recorded or replayed, I should say, any time of the day, so 24-7. Also, the Golden Spike competition were Battle Axes and Broadswords, Hacking and Shopping, Screaming, Nashing of Teeth... No, it's nothing like that. Actually, for the competition where everybody's getting their job done, in their respective fields to reconnect and interconnect all of our alternative systems across the Blue Ridge Mountains. Thank you to the restaurant crew and all the other friends there. It is a beautiful, it has been a beautiful This is the first day of July, second year of Fabian Socialist and Soviet Socialist Occupation of America with a K. I'll tell you what, it is 2010 by the old earth calendar and we're getting typical Michigan weather for this time of year. We've been getting a little more rain, but we have rainy days, rainy years and we have dry years and everybody takes their turn with drought. I haven't heard about anybody having drought problems this year. That doesn't mean it isn't happening, but it's not getting any media coverage. On the other hand, everybody's getting a lot of moisture, a lot of rain, a lot of water, a lot of what they need there. Take that into consideration accordingly when you're looking at your crops and crop production, especially for your gardens. There are some tricks that can be used to either bring that moisture content down or to shield your garden accordingly and also create runoff so that you don't see your garden become a rice paddy. That's one of the biggest things we're watching for, trying to make sure we preserve our production so we don't lose it. Now, On that note, something we did last night, I pulled out one of the casters of Pumpkin Jerky. We were talking about zucchini this morning and the fact that down in Alabama it seemed like the zucchini were not producing. Lots of blooms, lots and lots and lots and lots of blooms, but no fruit so far. Watch that. It might even actually clip off some of the blooms. Knock them down and see if we can force grow what it is we have on the plant still because the last thing we want to see is a lack of production. Lots of leaves, lots of flowers, but no fruit, no food. There's another cute trick on that though too. If you do harvest the blooms, does everybody understand that you can eat pumpkin or zucchini or squash blooms? You can actually fry them. Oh yeah, and are they tasty? Oh yeah, I've had them before guys. You want to talk about scrumptious and a unique meal. What you can do is take those pumpkin blooms, those zucchini blooms, if you're going to thin them out a little bit, pick them. wash them and then batter them up with a little egg batter, you know, whatever you want to do with a crumbly egg batter and you know some some crispy cracker or whatever and then fry them. And away you go, you're talking about a nice meal, a vegetarian meal obviously, but they are completely edible. And for that reason, actually we had one of the chefs up north, one of the actually, you know, said, well, you guys gonna be clearing the garden a little bit? Yeah, are you gonna be de-blooming any of the zucchini or the squash? Well, we gotta thin them out a little bit. Oh, well bring them inside, and I'll take care of that for you. Garontide. And lo and behold, it was like, oh my goodness, I wish we had more. But we can't pick all the flowers. We need more fruit. We need more zucchini later. So just something to think about. Everything can be turned into useful product one way or another. Another thing about the gardens, guys, it's not too late. Even right now, here we are in the first of July, you can put radishes in, you can put carrots in, you can put beets in, you can put any number of carrots in. You will produce lots of food. We have a whole bunch of stuff. In fact, doing that in 35 feet where I'm sitting right now, we've got about seven different varieties of food product growing in just one of the strip gardens that we've kind of done for, what, almost three decades now. In addition to that, we have lasagna gardening going on, which is something Nancy's experimenting with with the potatoes. It's going gangbusters. That's one of the most phenomenal processes we've seen so far. Nancy found this in a little, and we decided to experiment a little bit, so it's not the whole garden. It's just one part of it. But then we do conventional gardening in many categories. Biggest thing we got is because we have more moisture, we have more critters, more bugs. So you're going to have to deal with that accordingly. Now one little trick with the gardens, marigolds. Plant marigolds wherever you can. That's a natural bug repellent, but it still doesn't harm any of the other plants. So they're pretty. You get flowers out of the deal. You get something that looks bright and spiffy and keeps all the other bugs away to a degree, and helps to slow down the parasite problem in general. So marigolds, any type of pumpkin Standard marigolds, tall marigolds, short marigolds, take your pick. There's all sizes in between. You can get any height you want right now in marigold plants and grow them from seed or, which of course is what we do, or buy them from the local greenhouse that you have down the street. There's a number of different ones in the areas where we are here, so we probably can still pick up plants at your discretion because they're always doing potting plants, things like that. Anyway, food production, food production, and food production. Now another thing is watch for deals on bulk in beans, rice, and in even wheat. I just picked up, what, one, two, I think almost 300 pounds of flour just last, what, 20 hours or so. and we're going to have to either can it or we're going to be restocking that in other ways. One way or another it's going to be used, not going to go to waste. But when you do decide to go into volume production like that, come up with a system and stick to it. Now you can seal a meal powders. So if you're looking at flour or whole grain flour or beans or whatever, and beans aren't powder, that's obviously legume, slice just beans, so you know like a bean bag chair, you can create little bags or medium sized bags or even larger containment vessels for all of your different types of flowers for your sugar for a salt or whatever and then for instance let's say you use a five gallon pail because a lot of guys can get five gallon pails we just got a bunch of food grade ones last night four gallon and five gallon wash them out if you can whenever possible if you have somebody that has a store and you're getting them from there Ask if you can run them through their dish machine. That's a fantastic tool that should be used every chance you can. What does that do? Well, it cleans or initially cleans everything that you've got on hand. Now, whether or not you're going to clean it again before you pack it, well, of course, it's your choice. But you got all the big gunky-junky stuff out of there, and the machine goes up to normal temp. It has to swallow code, so it's going to get the job done right the way you need to see it done. Now, what you can do, guys, a five-gallon emergency pail between canned goods you can get off the shelf, stuff that you can buy from many of the different suppliers like FreezeDriedGuy, seeds that you can get from any number of different or of the organic seed producers right now, combined with the things we're talking about, bags you create literally with a CML pouch, bags of sugar, bags of wheat, bags of whatever. A lot of people are like, wheat? Well guys, you know, how many of you ever thought about what, have you ever thought about what, for instance, grape nuts are? They're not grape nuts. That's what they call them, grape nuts. In reality, you're looking at one of the whole grains that simply is toasted and roasted. And of course you add moisture and it becomes something you can chew on. Well you can do the same with wheat a number of different ways. So research it. You don't just have to turn it into bread. It can actually be used in a number of different ways. And of course wheat, if whole, and if it's in seed form, can also be sprouted. And it is very, very nutritious. Now I will point this out too. All of your legumes, all of your whole grains, no matter what they are, can be sprouted and they offer about seven to eight times the nutritional value of just eating beans or eating whatever. Lentils are a fantastic sprouting item. They sprout faster than anything else. They have more of the amino acids and other substitutes for meat failure where you don't have meat in service. You don't have enough meat in storage. And so it compensates by offering proteins. And again, what do you do to sprout stuff? All you do is add water. Water? Let them soak, drain them, sit and watch them. Of course you don't have to sit and watch them, that's really dull, but I guess it's better than no television at all, right? Ooh, look at the seeds go, uh, duh. But anyway, we don't want to see that happen. You've got other things to do. You can let the sprouting go on all by itself. But the point is that then you can, you munch, munch, munch accordingly and you're looking at combining that with rice other stuff you have. Maybe you do open a can of Spam and slice it up or a can of Corn Beef or a main MRE course pouch. Well, I'll tell you what, you take rice, you've got sprouts of any kind and a main pouch. You are eating like a king. You are eating high on the hog, especially when other people are starving. Mostly because they don't know what the hell to do in the first place and they aren't even paying attention and rah, rah, rah, what about those tigers? Rah, rah, rah. Well, you know, you can't do it. You can't make the horse drink. You can lead them to water. In some cases, they only want to go to the water. So hell with it. You've got other things to take care of, including yourself and your friends. Deal with that problem first, and then you will act accordingly to try and get other people motivated to get on board, to get into the program, to take care of themselves. One of the biggest problems with the FEMA scam that we saw down there at Katrina is everybody was waiting for their handout. That really is a problem rather than taking care of their own needs taking care of themselves Everybody was waiting not everybody but those people are out there waiting for a handout Well as we know it didn't make it it didn't get there in fact first I let them stew in their own juices for how long you know, that's right, Louisiana Oh my goodness kind of weather get my drift so When you do this five gallon pail you can do a mix and using the seal and meal pouches or anything else you have in the way of a storage system provided it will conform to the other pouch sizes that are in the pack now for example that is you can put some canned goods in that five gallon pail and then put bags of stuff, even if all you did was go to the store, here's an idea, go to the grocery store and pick up one pound bags of, let's say, take $20 and get $20 worth of mixed stuff in one pound bags off the shelf in dried beans, dried rice, dried whatever. You have a wide variety, you might even be able to do, although it's probably not the case because everything's up over a dollar a bag, although some things are a little cheaper per pound, but you're looking at the fact that for $20 you can have up to 20 different varieties of one pound bags. Now you take some canned goods and throw them in there. You take your bags of beans and you work them in between so you have no dead space. Now you can still put a lot of other goodies in there and a lot of other equipment and you'd be amazed how much stuff you can put into a five gallon pail. That is a lot of support. Now I would say this, with that 5 gallon pail system, make sure that you put a multiple vitamin in there of some kind. A couple bottles, two, three bottles. Hey, go to the dollar store, that's the cheapest version. You're looking at, what, a dollar a bottle for 100 multiple vitamins? Hey, grab $5 worth, put them in the canister. You want to go better? You want to spend more money? That's your choice. You do that. There's all kinds of health food stores. You can get some really, really super supplements that are going to pretty well provide everything that the food may not be able to completely because you're having to change your diet up, or you're having to limit your diet because of, again, available food stuff. So you've got to make it stretch. You've got to get this stuff to go out to last longer. So we've got to keep that in the formula. We're trying to keep you alive and we're trying to get you from point A to point B in the process. Five gallon pails, cheap. Seal of meals, hey you can find them at the resale shops or at the rubbish sales guys, but if all else fails, buy a new one. It's one of the things where if you buy a new one, it's a good thing. As far as bags go, you can make your own from Visit Queen. and actually go with a heavier thickness material. You don't have to be able to see through it perfectly. In fact, you don't have to be able to see through it at all. You can always take a black magic marker or a colored magic marker and write what's in the opaque package you create. Another thing, how many of you are using MREs? Have you been opening up the main course, the big main pouch with all the goodies in it and throwing those bags away? Do you realize that those can all be reused with a sealer meal? If somebody else wants to get rid of them, you collect them up, provide they can gunk them all up by throwing their junk back at them, and if so, those even can be washed out by the way, guys. And then you can repack it with other items and make your own version of an MRE main meal. Think about that. Now you repack it with other stuff, but in reality, you can get everything that's out there for an MRE pouch off the shelf. and probably do better than the stuff that the military put into those pouches. So that's another thing you really, really, really want to experiment with and try to do. We'll see. We can come up with a list for you on that one here pretty soon. I know if you go to our Yahoo Group page, go to www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com. You will find that there are all kinds of cool solutions on our Yahoo Group page. Take the time. Go there. Check it out. It's worth it. A couple things here again, a reminder for tomorrow, 5th regimental combat team, Colonial Marines are going to be the ready up unit in the event there are any problems. We have Clint Darr's funeral tomorrow, for those of you who missed last hour, but we need a reminder. Clint Darr passed away earlier this week and the concern was trying to get him back. I'm going to just give you an update on that. They were trying to get him back. They weren't sure how they were going to do it. We had a friend of the family that stepped in and had a solution, and I want to say again thank you to the people who were listening and to the individuals that responded. The brothers have Clint's body back here. It is at the Barker Leek Funeral Home. That is at 2341 West Grand Ledge Highway, Mulliken. Michigan 48861. Again, that's Barker Leake, L-E-I-K. That's B-A-R-K-E-R dash leake, L-E-I-K. Funeral Home. Street Addresses 2-3-4-1 West Grand Ledge Highway. Mulliken, Michigan 48861. If you want to find out more, you can still make it tonight. The body is being viewed tonight up until 8 o'clock. I'm sure they'll be there a little later. But up until 8 o'clock, at least, the original listing we had was for 9. I don't know why that's changed, but you might want to give them a call. You might still have an extra hour. The number is 517-649-8920. Again, that's 517-649-8920. That's 517-649-8920. That's 517-649-8920. Give them a call. If it looks like they're able to make it within reasonable time, you still have a chance to stop and pay your respects to Clint Daire. He passed away. He was a former Wolverine militia state commander. He was voted into the position. He did his part. Everybody has taken their turn, or many people have taken their turn at one time or another. And as far as I know, he is the first of the state commanders to pass away from the line of Wolverine militia commanders that have been in service. So, younger than most of the others, to be quite honest. Clint was out of state. As you know, he came up and was doing programming. Unfortunately, he was already in ill health. and very quickly deteriorated here over just a very short period of time. Now, of course, the family is dealing with this. We will have more information on assisting the family. There are medical bills, also the funeral expenses. We do have a bugler, Rick Haines, also having served with the Wolverine Militia Corps, the state command has been able to bring certain people together. He probably is there tonight, I would assume, or should be visiting tonight. But we'll be there for the funeral tomorrow. I believe there are others who are going to make sure that they are going to do their part. We'll see what happens and see how many people we can get there. But remember that this is a funeral. With the Hautari attack that took place, everybody has to take that into consideration. And again, don't be cowardly about this. Understand that it is through strength that we demonstrate our willingness to stand for liberty. We have people who are already on standby, the bad guys if they're stupid, and I don't think they're that stupid, but you know again, we're going to be cautious. We don't go to weddings or funerals unarmed anymore. Everybody knows this. Any confrontation, it'll be put down. Put down hard. We have a number of other activities this weekend. Even though the holidays are here, I want to remind everybody there is no cancellation. All militia training sites, Camp Emerson, Camp Emmerich, Camp Whalen North, Naga-Hitcham and the Oghammer Ranges are all open this weekend through the whole of the holiday season. So if you're up north and you're going to the lakes, there are a lot of lakes up in the areas where these guys are. There's thousands of lakes in Michigan, but we've got some really pretty ones up towards the middle of the state, guys, in the middle of the state. And if you're going up there to vacation, hey, take your weapons along, go to the range. You'll see a lot of friends there. There's many families who will be camping out at Camp Emmerich and also at Camp Whelan North. So they've got a lake there on the one site, Wayland North does. So I believe they're using the whole campground and all the other facilities. It's rustic. You've got to figure out how to take care of everything. That's the whole idea. Practice what you preach. So again, no cancellations. Everything is clear up and online. So we're looking good there. One more time on this, because we're now at the deadline. We have Johnny Focco. Poker Face, Yaw Kings, Dead Ahead, Jam Bone, and other bands showing up tomorrow to the 4th, from the 2nd to the 4th. down in Ohio and this is a big band event. It is a family event. It's designed to have fun. You'll get a chance to talk to friends. You'll get a chance to plug in and find out what's happening. I remember two things. Bring sunblock, bring bug spray, and make sure that you got some sun protection like a hat or something. You're going to be out there all day. They're going to be playing music. It's like, you know, like you get on Patriot Fest. and that is at 17953 Baird Road, Wellington, Ohio, 44090 and it's called Sammy's Place and Baird Stage, B-A-I-R-D Stage. This is a family friendly event so bring the whole family. The festival will run from July 2nd until July 4th, 2010 and will be an annual event from this point forward. Bring any supplies that you will need. Vendors will be on hand for food and drink. and so you can just live off the land there so to speak if you want uh... be prepared to have fun oh no not having fun yes yes you will have to have fun or we will whip you with a noodle Well anyway, donations, $10 each, free for the children. Everybody come on down, at least stop in for a day. Say hi to everybody. And guys, you've got a schedule of things to do, especially in Ohio. Here's a chance to participate in a really fun event. So, it's not like we aren't going to be busy this weekend. We've got some serious issues. We've got the Clint Derr funeral. We have the multi-band event down there in Wellington, Ohio. So if you want to look that up, you're going to do a map on that. Again, it's 17953 Baird Road, Wellington, Ohio, 44090. Sammies Place. Then you can map out and go from there. W.A., if you would, please check for W.A. If you would, please check the Colonial Marine Militia dot 4M.G.com website. W-A. Please contact, get a hold of, and look at. You'll know what you're looking for. Go to the postings and W-A. You go to the colonialmarinemalicia.4mg.com webpage and check it out. You've got a message there. It has to be taken care of. You're the OIC. You're the person responsible for what's going on. For Mr. Melroy's, you also need to go to the CMM website, but this is also perhaps the list they're posting. We need a date, time, and place for the next Colonial Marine Air Mobile exercise that's coming up. They only graduate so many people through the airborne school. I think it's between 28 and 32 people per cycle. Sometimes they get three cycles in through the summer. Sometimes they don't. This is a very serious activity. Those people who receive their jump wings have gone through the same course that they would through the standard airborne school. But on a smaller scale, obviously we don't have C-130s, although I guess we could find some somewhere. But they do Hello Jumps and they do fixed-wing twin-engine aircraft jumps to make up accordingly. Mr. Melroy's, if you would please go to the CMM website and remember you're going to need to post a date, time and place, or at least a contact point so that everybody will know who to reach to confirm scheduling for the next cycle. That's going to be coming at the end of July. The present cycle is in place right now, and there will be a lot of people there. We might get a special report from Mike Nester this afternoon still. I know that things have been perking down there on the border. It's been first hot, then it's been wet. They've got a little cyclic rain there. You get a chance to go to our YouTube page, www.youtube.4mg.com, wait a minute, no. That's www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com. Then go to YouTube or you can go to ViewFlicks. Check out our videos there and if you would please rate and comment. We just had our friends there from ViewFlicks calling during the hour. A little bit of a break up on signal communications, that happens. And our Star Trek communicators, in many cases, are made by the frangie. Oh no. So we're going to make a point of reminding everybody that we have these tools available. If you're trying to teach people the solutions to some of the, or I should say, answers to questions, solutions to problems, are available on the site. And then this leads us to something else that I've had a lot of letters on here in the last couple days. Yes, we have both the night vision videos in stock. In fact, I just sent a bunch of them out, but we are our youngest sonsmen working on video production, so we are up to speed on that. The night vision video is $25, post paid. It's a donation to Liberty Tree Radio, part of what helps keep the lights on, keeps everything going. If you get it, we expect you to make copies. The NBC video set which is NBC Equipping and Training, equipment and training video is two disks. Again, we recommend that if you're going to copy either of these, copy it to two disks. Don't you think we'd have put it on one disk if we could and it would have been good enough to view? The quality has to be maintained when you are copying this information and sharing it with others. So We put it on two discs. I ask that you put it on two discs if you copy it, please. Now, it's $25 post-paid for the night vision discs and it's $20 post-paid for the NBC discs. Just talked to Sean the other day, by the way, who is the instructor that you see there, Mr. Conover, and he is doing exceptionally well, very healthy, and he's been overseas quite a few times now. over in the sandbox and other places. Kind of keep an eye on what's going on and been able to give us updates accordingly. PBN PO Box 194, Dexter, Michigan 48130. PBN PO Box 194, Dexter, Michigan 48130. If you could then take a piece of paper, write down which you want. $20 for the night vision set, Forgive me, $25 for the night vision set and $20 for the NBC defense set. Those are two discs, self-contained. We shoot them out as quick as we get the donation. And then write down, clearly print, write what it is you want. Print or put an address label in the envelope on the piece of paper. Put that in the envelope. Address it to PBN PO Box 194, Dexter, Michigan 48130. and put it in the envelope, stamp everything, seal everything, make sure it's taped, make sure it's sealed. If you're going to use a check or a money order, make the check or money order out to Nancy, last name, K-O-E-R-N-K-E. Nancy, K-O-E-R-N-K-E. and then make a point of shipping that out to PBN P.O. Box 194, Dexter, Michigan 48130 and then make this disk set a classroom experience. You can actually let the disks do the talking. You can break it up into segments. It is broken down for programming purposes, so you can do one segment at a time. A little discussion, then plug the CD back in, the DVD back in, watch another section, or watch several sections. It's up to you. The instructor is going to have to make a choice there. But the advantage is, somebody else has done the work, somebody else is doing the talking, and all you have to do is pay attention. Wow. And if you have to reabsorb it, or you're not sure about something, you can replay it. No way! Yes, they're not disposable one-way DVDs or whatever. Now that I've ever seen those, they did try that years ago. How many people remember that? They tried to do the, we'll sell you a DVD and it kind of self-destructs like a Mission Impossible thing. You watch it once and where'd it go? Oh, it fragged. Oh well. Anyway, I heard a beep. We may have a caller. Who do we have? Uh-oh. Pregnant pause there. I'll just listen, Mark. Okay, very good. Not a problem. And again, we understand there are patient listeners out there too, and we appreciate you. Hey, that's cool. Again, for this weekend, though, we need to give out our phone numbers, because Witherday Tree Radio will be manned if there is an incident. You can call into either one of these numbers. 734-424-0919. That's 734. 424-0919. If you call in, we are expecting sit reps, guys. So have your emergency com-con manual ready and we're going to be taking reports that way if anything goes on this weekend. Also, the other number is 734-424-9335. That's 734-424-9335. and the information is available on the web page if you go to a number of different points you'll find it reinforced over and over again example go to www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com over to the right you'll find the donate key you hit the donate key also says a little red PayPal underneath there on the key take that it'll give you all the contact information written out and give you instructions on what to do Spike is saying he'll also be active all this weekend so You can get ahold of him through a Skype account or through his email address as well. Same with us. If you can't get to a phone but you can get to a computer, you can email or send us a message on Skype. Our email address is libertytreeradio.yahoo.com. That's libertytreeradio.yahoo.com. Also, our Skype ID is libertytreeradio. All one word, libertytreeradio. We are going to be busy this weekend. We've got a lot of projects that are being plugged in. Plus, we're going to get some of our other heavy equipment. We're replacing some of the antennas and such, or I've got to reset a few, but one of them is definitely in need of field maintenance. It's been in the service for a long time, so we're probably going to be patching up a few things here and there. Not a problem. Looking for a replacement cover for an L&B unit. You know what works really well guys? Plastic buckets. Problem is finding the right size plastic bucket. I got to kind of search around for the bake shop or any of the coffee shops and they have a plastic bucket in about the two gallon range. You get the right diameter, it screws right into place and covers the L&B just like it should so that everybody's happy. Especially me because we don't want to keep the, we don't want the bugaboos making nests in our electronic equipment. Other notes here before I go any farther. I'll make sure that we didn't miss anything because yes We are in the holiday weekend guys. This is The first and it is Thursday already well we do have another event coming up which you didn't mention because you don't have it there in front of you on the paper, but it is on the website oh and hang on here I will pull it up because it's not this weekend, but it is next weekend the Vietnam Moving Wall Memorial will be coming to Hamburg, Michigan July, actually I think it's next week, July 8th through the 12th 2010 at the Hamburg Fun Fest Again, that's Hamburg, Michigan, guys. If you want to know how to get there, type in Hamburg, Michigan, and do Google Maps or MapQuest, and it'll show you where it's at. Or you can go to www.hero.hambergfundfest.com. That's www.hero.hambergfundfest.com for more information. And the advantage here again guys, rather than having to go to the wall and go to Washington, the wall is traveling and coming to everybody else. So that's been running the country for quite some time. I think there's two. I believe they have two different ones. They run alternative parts of the country simultaneously. They're very rarely in the same state. That happens on occasion, but they're never in the same location, obviously. They're always in two different parts of a state. Typically they're even on the opposite end of the country from each other. So this is a good experience. If you've got somebody who has never seen that before, it's one of the ways for them to be able to take advantage of scoping out a little bit of history. And again, the price is right. So you can't really complain. It's come to you. All you got to do is make a few miles with a car and you're there. Anything else? No, that was it for now. We do have a couple other announcements that will be coming up, but I'm waiting for the information to be emailed into me. I'm not sure if it pertains to this month or next month, but there is a couple of ham radio events that are going on soon. Now another thing though, we do have JRH, I should mention this, JRH Enterprises. A lot of people, if you're down in the south eastern part of the United States, JRH Enterprises has been in place for quite some time there, first in Florida, now they're in Georgia. And if you give Robert Henry a call, you can go right to www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com. Scroll down on the left-hand side of the page, you'll find JRH Enterprises. There's an icon right there. Tap that one, it'll take you right to their page. It gives you all the phone numbers and everything. You can give them a call. If you have questions about NBC Defense or preparedness or anything else in that category, Robert is very, very competent. He has been working at this for a long time. He's familiar with the industry, knows what's happening at this moment in time with the industry because it is an industry. Technology like this fits a unique niche and it's not always available the way everybody thinks. This is not Wally World, it's not Paul Marx, not K-Marts, not Sam's Club. It's surplus and or it's again limited production runs. We should note that strangely enough on that note about NBC defense the checks are going to be working with the Texas Guard to create an NBC nuclear biological chemical defense unit. I think that's rather interesting because yeah the checks are cool and they're well trained. But I think we have more money and we're actually able to pretty well train our own people. But apparently to try and spend more of your cash dollars overseas, after all the only thing they can do is steal your money and throw it back to somebody else because they deserve it more than you. Well at least that's what the government thinks. But you can correct accordingly by coming up with a solution of your own which includes being personally prepared for the same threat that they're organizing for here, that they're actually prepping the field units in the ground to use the technology. Gas mask, chem suits, let's go to another direction on that and we're going to touch mainmilitary.com, mainmilitary.com, 877-608. 0179 that's Frank with main military, M-A-I-N-E military dot com. You've heard the ads here on the air. He's got some new stuff there that was really cool, new items, and he's got a whole bunch of MOLLE gear that he picked up, plus a bunch of Alice gear. The Alice packs are an excellent price right now. The MOLLE gear mix of mag pouches or mix of utility pouches will get the job done for those who are committed to the MOLLE vest system. Also for the Alice gear and the older Vietnam gear there's a whole bunch of H's and Y's, the mag pouches, the compass pouches, everything you need is right there. So take the time, check it out, plug it in and when you're done You should have everything that you need between the sources we provide to be able to properly outfit, train, and then move into the field and practice what you preach. In Maine military they have an LTR special sections, LTR specials. Now there's something where if you again take the time, take advantage of it, get in there, plug in and then get on business. Take care what you need to, you don't have to spend forever there. You can call the station, or you should say call the store at 877-608-0179. That's 877-606-080179. Plug in, say hi. and Frank sir, hey give him a call, let him know, whoever you call, if you do call there, let him know, yeah you heard us about them on our programming with LTR on the Intel report. It helps a lot, really does. And positive feedback, hey guys need to hear that, that way they know well, is the message getting out? I hope it is. Other things, again we've got a long list. There's been all kinds of stuff. We're trying to round up another couple of schedule pieces here so everybody knows what's going on. But, let's see, we're good on the Saturday and Sunday events. One more time for Sergeant Harris, M114 maintenance. Remember that's also for the Victor 2 platform. We have the M114 and our newer built constructed piece of equipment is the Victor 2. Sergeant Harris needs to contact the maintenance section. One of the reasons is because of the Arizona militia deployment. There's been a request for assistance. We have a lot of mechanics that are in certain motor pools. They've been directed that way. They're not all from the same part of the state of Michigan, but I'm sure they can double up or triple up to get down there to Arizona for a few days, maybe. We have Unimogs, by the way. That's mentioned by the Arizona units down there. We have Unimogs up here with the Michigan militia units. And a couple different people have independent Unimogs that are in excellent condition, as a matter of fact. So they are pretty well made. uh... they work and they're still in service the Unimog's have not been withdrawn completely it's like the deuce naps there's too many of them around guys and I mean the original deuce and a halfs. You know the post Vietnam, forgive me, pre-Vietnam to post Vietnam construction standard deuce. There's a lot of them out there still. They're over there in the sandbox. They may not come back. Those will probably get chewed up. But there's a lot of them that are still in service even here in the United States. So it's not that they're outdated by any stretch of the imagination. Don't anybody baffly with that kind of BS. On the vehicle issue. One more thing here. Let's see if I have that right. Oh, Kitty said what? Yeah. Let's see, okay Craig, yeah, you know I mentioned it's just a, forgive me, I was supposed to follow up on this. Craig is supposed to call in, not here, but Craig is supposed to call in, that's with a K, he knows who he is. Craig is supposed to call in, and if you would please make contact with your team leader at least and let him know what's going on. There's some scheduled events this weekend, as we know, he's going to be part of that if everything goes well. Down on the border, another thing we're seeing and right now this is pretty darn obvious but we're even when we're getting a little cooler we've been in the 70 degree range we're getting a lot of sun. You're out in the field you're moving 60 to actually as little as 40 but as much as 60 pounds of combat gear you're carrying a five pound rifle you are going to sweat. Now, there's a couple tricks here guys I want to mention. The oldest is, hey, find a sport shirt. If you can get these heavy mesh or heavy woven jute would be best. I doubt you'll find jute, but if you can, jute vest type undershirts or the wife beater, you know, the muscle shirts they call them. In the system they call them wife beater shirts. But anyway, these muscle shirts that are made with a string or mesh pattern to them. They are exceptional tools if they're used right. Now remember natural convection is what we got to take advantage of. So what you do is you take that shirt, put it in water, let it soak in cold water, and just let it soak. Just let it sit. Don't just dip it in and pull it out right away. Let it soak and let the fiber saturate with water, with cool water. Now What's going to happen here is you put it on and your body, of course, is generating 98.6 plus in the way of calories it gets warmer, you get a little warmer too, you go up a little bit. Well, what's going to happen here is this actually helps to pull core temperature off the body and the material is designed to wick. the water towards the surface and allow it to evaporate. Well, evaporation is good because that's what helps keep you cool. But in this case, it's a convection process where it pulls out the other moisture and it pulls the heat out of the system. Now, it's not going to give you hypothermia, but it is an interesting process. The Russians used for many, many years. It's an old Svesnaz trick. And the jute slash hemp type woven t-shirts or shirt vests are the first choice if you can find them. The jute, if it's allowed to soak, will soak up and actually retain much, much, much more moisture when the time comes. It's just simply a matter of the natural slash organic fiber being able to store better with the cell structure it has. These are a plus. Now by the way, most of you don't necessarily have not been quoted, have been coached on this, but how many of you noticed that all your canteen covers have like a wool fuzzy liner in them? Like a big felt liner? Now, do you understand that if you have to take warm canteen water and you have to put a couple iodine tablets in it, what's the next thing that you do? Oh, that's right. You take your canteen cup and you saturate the canteen cover with water. Huh? Well, I mentioned convection earlier. This is Navajo air conditioning. The reason your canteen was felt padded was not so that it would be bumpy safe. That's not the reason at all, although it does offer some protection to the canteen. What its real purpose is in extreme hot weather, it will allow you to have cold water. The natural convection process with the moisture on the canteen, it will pull the heat away. It's really funny because the definition officially of cold is the absence of heat. And so the process, water, which is a great radiator, of course that's why we use it as radiator fluid, will pull calories out and commute them. and your canteen covers were designed to cool the water that you're carrying. Another point, how about... Happy Trails. Remember that cowboy up there on the horseback? And you see that canteen hanging there? Do you think that they're going to waste cloth because they just felt like putting something purdy on the outside of that canteen? That's not how it works at all. The wool that you see that was the outer part of those big old lozenge type, you know, they're like the big pieces, like, look like big aspirin. The big, you know, canteens with a double strap on them. Guys, those were designed so that you dip the canteen, the wool would retain the water, and would naturally pull the calorie slash heat off of the water, and cool what was inside the canteen. Wow, this is so simple. It's ridiculous and hopefully everybody will remember this pass it on to all your friends Pass it on to all your family members. Why we're going out into some hot weather here We're gonna be down on the border down in the desert You're gonna get plenty of rain right now, but that's gonna change and you're gonna what wish it was cooler And that it was a little wetter again because it gets drier in a popcorn fart down there Anyway, and it also does everywhere else. We're getting in July Now everybody's gonna wish it was colder and it was raining again. That's gonna happen. God bless the Republic. Death of the New World Order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're on the march. You stay tuned. We're gonna continue broadcasting here. We'll be back at 8 o'clock. Spike is up next. Oh, yes, that's right. We got Spike coming up right behind us. And again, so guys, stay focused. Don't touch that dial. The Zeltier continues. Where have all the military surplus stores gone?
