Summary
Mark Koernke discussed the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, criticizing government and BP's handling of the disaster and the lack of transparent data collection. He emphasized the need for citizen-led monitoring efforts using portable testing equipment to measure benzene and other contaminants, advocating for organized surveillance systems and water sampling methods. The episode also featured a segment on Minnesota homeschoolers who drafted a resolution opposing the federal health care bill on constitutional grounds and lobbied state legislators, followed by advertisements for survivalist seeds and water purification systems.

Several years I have known about active homeschooling groups that do this in Missouri and in Utah. Let me tell you about the experience of a group of 14 to 18 year old Minnesota homeschool students. Each year they choose a public policy topic to research, discuss, and draft mock legislative resolutions. This year they selected the health care bill that was then making its way through Congress. As soon as the health care bill passed, the kids got excited about the content of the bill, the way it was passed, and the backroom deals. The student leader, 18-year-old Fletcher Warren, gave a radio interview saying, we decided that we should do what we could. We wrote out a three-page resolution detailing our concerns, such as the law's unconstitutionality and violation of the Commerce Clause. The resolution calls on Minnesota's governor, attorney general, and state legislature to seek an injunction that would relieve the state of having to comply with newly enacted national health care legislation. The 32 homeschoolers then gathered at the St. Paul Minnesota State House to hand deliver their letters and copies of the signed resolution to Minnesota legislators. The students were able to meet with four representatives and two senators, all of whom were cordial to their young constituents. Fletcher Warren, who served as chairman of the Home Schoolers' Health Care Committee, was pleased with the way legislators received the students and their message. He described the experience as overwhelmingly positive. The students then expanded their efforts beyond the state legislature and spoke to several of their congressmen. The student's lobbying trip turned out to be a very good lesson in how our government operates and how citizens can participate. Me and Teleguis report marching on every morning at 6am Pacific time, Monday through Friday. I want the people to know that they still have two out of three branches of the government working for them and that ain't bad. I've not yet begun, he's just file my stuff. A figure walked him through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat. Speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution. secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution, the shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate and your Christian values. You read about the current news in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seasonally farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters, this is their children, our mothers send artillery. and guns to foreign shores, and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. You regain the freedoms for which we fought and died. Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear, be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the supreme law of the land. preserve our great republic and each god given right as i awoke he vanished in the mist for once he came his words were true we are free but we have ourselves to blame for even now as tyrants trampled each god given right we only watch him tremble too afraid to stand and fight if he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep what would be your answer he called out from the grave DILT A FAN. You're getting up this morning looking out across the valleys and going oh my goodness is that fogger is there a forest fire a whole lot more this morning 4th of July weekend I just had in my hand and you know what I did I left it in me this weekend from the second to the second through the van you got Johnny Philco I think it's Yacht you'll see Yacht King's bunch of others guys up in my head from all points of the compass by the way well Don it is I know the winds coming through you're gonna you're gonna probably need a yeah we got part of that this morning I gotta remind you something though, you know, and then again, and then I'm trying to not think about it, because you know how it is you're tedious with these flower beds. I'm right in the middle of a snow. See it's not very far. And then I look straight and then maybe I'll minus a day, but you know, down here we're just... Can you talk about weird... You know the old Atlantic and Bill's heard that for years, and then it gets into that. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that over the years because they're expecting us to return the page on this little created section, but... The best way to tie this in, first of all, let's think about this. At big storms. But does anybody remember how many galleons were sunk in one spin cycle but was from Mexico? Like what happened with Fitzgerald. Shipping has always been like... They even know there's gonna be a bad season. And most people don't know there, there were so many wrecks that it almost seems like an exaggeration. The reason to bring that up is again, there's also the Western Keys. People don't know this or what are known as the Pirate Keys. Up the hole! No, no, these are the parts between these islands with a s**t complex and many of the actual pipes going after the galliums and going after the trade ships. And upon the season, the effective vanish had to commit, or try to, of islands. The problem is, if you ever read, you can find just as much booty can find any of the old four temporary stations that were set up. Many of them were not so temp- It beats it. The problem, Don, is this. We can't even, you know, Let's go back to something real quick. Is it overwhelming or true? They went so fabricate and collaborate in fabricating data. Everybody out to... Now, I want to tell you something, and I guess to remind everybody of recent history here, now it doesn't mean that they can't be vindictive. And my point is, what are some of the things that... Because he'd also have coal-jacked scientists that were right through their teeth. They've known, they've been lying. Other people were going, wait a minute, your information doesn't match them with the Gulf. And my problem is, is, well first of all, guys, let's go down through the inventory here. Gooberments. And they brag about it. Brag about it. Now, here's the thing. Separated and even, and of course they got, which is the most common, you know, the cool thing about emails is that because talking about how the peasant, you know, that's why he kept his idea that, you know, he, it doesn't mean that they already have a blind sack, an agenda of their own, but right now, either it is or it isn't off, and we can do anything they want. Well, wait a minute. Who dives at 5,000 feet? You can, I did mention gyms, and now you can take that gym sit 2,000 feet, but they don't even want to talk about it. The problem I have is nobody's asking a lot of what are the rights. Uh, if this is a national emergency, come on guys. Oh, here's the thing, get up on your local talk. You tell somebody to go swimming and that it's safe getting a swimsuit on and going to the beach and, hey, you guys jump in the water. What about you? No, you guys go ahead and jump in the water. See, now there's a problem I have with like this. If it is safe. Here's my challenge. Information groups that are, should somebody halfway across the country have to do. $21 in clean companies, plumbing suppliers, go to metal contracts, welding supplies, and all of them have walked back to the 90s guy to know, and we don't have to say somebody's lying, we can show somebody's lying. You know, everybody's saying, well, this is Ben's, and they're giving me this big long list. Well, right now, and we got a whole bunch of guys in the, people we got going around, thousands of emails, all going, well, we heard that, and we heard that it's like, wait a minute, stop. This is the internet for what it was meant to be. Then punch in, a standard kit based upon the fact that you don't have to guess or wonder, you don't have to scurrind in and go, oh, find out, Mary, this is one thing. When I hear these guys lamenting, okay, if people are so bad, get a couple of your friends together, go down to the coast, put the rubber gloves on, find yourself a tithing, and down there is a dust man. Where I've said this several times, you could cover the whole of the coast, from one end of the coast to the other, from right on the edge of Mexico, and even below Mexico if you want to, get in a fishing boat. There's different greats. telling people that there's been and this and that and other things and you put an employee if you feel without the proper gear and he comes up lame or sick or whatnot it can be pre- and you addressed this the other day Mark but insurance acts are paid to benefit but you guys find out how to- No, no there is and the reason I can confirm that is because you remember when we're doing operations uh I've pointed this out before uh let's say that you're a tunnel rat working at the good old U of M doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo do underground, you don't see this part of the U of M. Coming from a crawl and you look at your kitchen and then there's a couple other machines, and so you, it might be in that crawl space. And you keep crawling, and wait a minute, this, it seems a little dingy in here again, more so than the last time, because usually we got, you know, we have cleanup. There's a couple things, I got a quality air check right away. I'm at now two guys, we're talking, you're already down in the spacesuit, an extreme, and I've got a unit, I've got, I bought one of these for Lexus and every building. We're checking for chemicals. It's portable, looks like a Star Trek trike, same thing. Oxygen level into the machine. They cost, at the back of the day, they cost $1,278. So I know, I bought all of them, and I had little wafers we're talking about, they're the sensor wafers, and they almost have to replace, they should be replaced every year, but nobody crawling through the space, quarter number one, and going, checking, and I can tell you whether or not I have, I can tell you whether, other, you know, if I have biologics, the guys should let you know, and the oxygen sensor looks like another Star Trek. You're walking down, you're not walking, you're calling step by step. Then when you get into that area, again, the portable kit here, those that are set up, one is, and then what it does is it's to color range things, some where you, and then eat the tape, bromide. We think there's benzene, because they told us there was benzene and there's lots of it, and don't touch the oil. Make sure that only BP touches the oil, that's what that, like I said, I know they range in whatever price you want to spend. Tell you what the inaccuracies done, yeah, and it'll also inform you of what surfaces or conditions may because they've already done all the testing on this. In order for these kits to be put into the field and to be certified, they have... The cool thing about this, by the very nature of it, is that we have had to conform to that in the United States. Not overseas, geek bureaucracy, that God knows everywhere on the planet, because of that, rattling on the keyboard, doing right now. Point is, we have the manpower, and you do have the resources. Yeah. Listen, again, I'm being agitated. We have the manpower. You're the somebodies that are going to have to do this. Let's peg their hind end. Let's not guess. We should have a censor pop them. In other words, each one could be so we'd know what it is at that particular point in time. Now with the glory of the computer, rather than using the computer for video games, or Ethan Renov here in Lament, using that blasted computer that has more computing power than all over the world in 1976, the computer's here right now under my feet. About whether or not man, of how many million people right now going, how bad the end of the world's going to be. Why? Here's the thing you start doing all gonna die well then let's talk about this Oh two weeks ago three weeks and every step of the way you could have had a time I said when everybody's doing this. Yeah, oh my toenails. It's getting worse. I'm biting my toenails It's getting worse instead. It should have been what organized surveillance system of the Benzein level claimed was active you want to get fancy How many of you have every now let's say that we can't afford to do this everywhere But every so many miles apart separate from the closer stations somebody gets in a boat, appoint themselves by compass straight out away from the coast by a mile or two miles. Now that's on the Gulf Seas and a Gulf Gulf high seas guys and you better have a boat that you can you could live with out there on the ocean. You point your boat out and you do two things. You have a lead weight system and you have a very long line and then you also have scoopers. Now what does the weight do? It takes my recovery unit, which is going to open, which actually all it does guys, is it opens up and it closes. It's a real cool trap you can make. We do this for fish ponds all the time. Drop your line down, get a sample from below down to the surface or however many hundred feet you want to go, and then bring it back up. Make sure it's not cross contaminated with upper water. You can do a subsurface survey and you can do a surface survey. So simple, it's ridiculous. How can I say this? Guys, we have fish ponds, we do this constantly. Some of those fish ponds are man-made and are actually 100 feet deep, 60 feet deep. They were sculpted for larger schools of fish. We need to know what the base content of any contamination is in those ponds. Well, you're worried about your golf. We need to do this. Organize, improvise, adapt and overcome, but you don't have to improvise much. The industry's provided all the tools. You just gotta find them. Okay, Don, are you gonna be able to stick with us? Okay, very good. We're gonna go to break here, top of the hour by the way. Get up! Have we woken you up this morning? Get up, get out of bed, grab that cup of coffee, God bless the Republic. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. Kick him into high and run him over to the Gulf and throw him in those pools of benzene that are there. Floating, floating I say. We've let them bathe in that for a while, that's what everybody thinks is there. If they keep swimming around and they don't die right away though, Alright, exactly. Throw a flare at him. Yeah, I'd say throw a rock. Okay, thank you, Doc. See you right back, you guys. Financial experts are saying we are headed for an economic depression. Depression.
