Mark Koernke discussed emergency communications systems and preparedness on Communications Tuesday, covering CB radios, marine channel radios, two-meter radios, shortwave transceivers, and frequency monitoring equipment as alternatives to internet and cell phone systems. He emphasized the importance of local tactical communications over strategic long-distance information, explained how to set up radio grids across states using repeaters and antenna placement, and promoted the upcoming Dayton Hamfest as a source for affordable used equipment. The show included discussion of the Liberty Net shortwave network, antenna construction, frequency counters for detecting encrypted transmissions, and practical tips for building redundant communication networks. A caller named Tommy phoned in with questions about frequency counters and tactical communications.

Well, let's say I don't have enough money to buy something. Should I buy it anyway? No. Now I'm really confused. It's a little confusing at first. Well, what about the money? Can you buy something? Yes. Now take the money away. Same story? Nope. You shouldn't buy stuff when you don't have the money. I think I got it. I buy something I want and then hope that I can pay for it, right? No. You make sure you have money, then you buy it. Oh, then you buy it. But shouldn't you buy it before you have the money? No. What? It's in the book. It's only one page long. I want the people to know that they still have two out of three branches of the government working for them and that ain't bad. He has begun to defile myself. I dreamed the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat. And speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press. and you pay attacks you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God, keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled, each God-given rite, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? This report, I'm Mark Quirky, one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories, left central, south, and east. Well, ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on the Micro Effect Network in the morning. We're also on Liberty Tree Radio, dot 4mg.com. We're on AM and FM micro stations, CB base stations, and alternate technologies. both east and west of the mississippi along with some southern and central alaska and the illusions were also on the hallmark network on the uh... equal real estate system there along with many extensions and tendrils on the east coast you'll find us uh... in northern georgia the carolinas of course uh... kennedy in kentucky and oh hi-yo yes uh... southeast noh i was with a golden spike project is coming together and we should have a broadcast whereby you will hear us technically on all three of those networks at the same time. Hello, hello, hello. We're going to work it out. We'll see what we can do. Anyway, it is a beautiful Tuesday. It is the second day of the work week, and for all of you out there listening, that means, guys, you got to get up. I'll tell you what. It is Daybreak in the swamps. That's right, yeah. Daybreak in the swamps. And that means you got to get up. It is 607 on the left coast. 907 here. Oh, jitting over to 908. Let's make sure that nuclear atomic clock is correct. I'm pretty sure it's tuned to the big frequency out there so it's proper and where it should be. It is Communications Tuesday and Medical Tuesday. So again, be prepared to take notes whenever we can review information on where to go for things cool stuff that's available and uh... things that are critical towards uh... operations i will remind you that again uh... this is a micro effect network in the morning and liberty free radio and uh... if you would like to help joe mcneill on a little bit guys uh... hey gotta make sure the bills are covered distal playing their go to the micro effect uh... web page micro effect When you get there, there's going to be a transparency screen that actually shows you what the costs are and what it is that has been raised to help take care of the budget. So if you can, take a look at that, see what you can do to pitch in. Also, there are ways you can help out. We have micro effect t-shirts, which is something you're going to the Radio Ham Fest this weekend coming up. It's only three days away from starting now. And of course, people will be showing up on Thursday. But only three going on four business days away from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Dayton O'Hara Arena. That's the Dayton Ham Fest. You've got to be there. Biggest on the planet. Well, I can tell you what. Get one of these Micro Effect T-shirts and wear it there. You're going to have to move quick to get that done, but it's still possible because if you work on it right now, I'm sure Joe could throw it in the mail and get it to you real quick. Again, if you'd like to support the network and in the process, let people know where it is and what you listen to, there's a way you can help out. Yes, it's a walking billboard thing. We do it all the time. I've got all kinds of stuff like that, guys. I mean all kinds of stuff like that. Anyway, being Tuesday, one of the things a lot of people ask is how do we stay in touch when everything else shuts down? Well, there's a number of different systems. The alternate is one, which we've been mentioning. And that's going to replace the internet from another direction. And still, if the main grid goes down, a good portion of the alternate will stay up and online because we've pretty well looked at backups to backups on that. And we're not really jumping off the primary power grid. We work independent with a lot of other power sources, solar power, wind, and even water generation guys. There's a lot of little generator packs around here and there that most people forget about that provide a whole lot of electricity. And they don't have to be hooked up to anything. Okay, so as it is those systems are in place and you need to start looking at solutions yourself to make sure you have backup to backup to backup because the bad guys are going to try and isolate everybody, shut them down, etc. Now, I'm going to point something out about that. If tomorrow everything went, oh did it go blank there for a minute? Well that's intentional. If everything went offline, why would you panic? See that's one of the things that fascinates me. It's another day. That's the only way to describe it. It's just another day. Congratulations. We're going to continue because we have what we call SOP, Standard Operating Procedure, and we have an overall plan. Well, you have to have a tactical plan for your operations so that you don't get caught flat-footed. The power went off in New York. Let me give you an example. There's a good one right there. How many people remember the government's test of the power grid to see how we panic? Does anybody remember that? This is back in the 90s when that happened where they shut the power off. The power stopped actually. Where that blackout ended is just about three or four miles beyond where I'm sitting. We were at the absolute western extreme of that power outage. Now, in New York, which amazingly enough, the power went out, people actually just walked out of town. Remember that? they walked out of something and they didn't just you know they're right panic there were people with briefcases over their head protecting cells from falling stones from above you can see people bleeding screaming and you know national teeth ring of hair as they walked down the highway and they walked on down the uh... road which is a long way but they walked all the way home good healthy day for everybody which messed up the system to begin with But there wasn't any mass panic and people progressively drove out of town, I'll bet, with other people having any kind of a hiss assist with traffic control. Oh, there were heroes, which really is nothing more than, hey, guys stepped in and did traffic control just to allow people to start and stop, which was the intelligent thing to do. And the thing was dealt with. It was not a big deal. It was not a big deal. Everybody should be able to deal with that. One person jump in, take traffic control, and another person can step in and deal with it next. You know, that kind of thing. And if everybody kind of tag-teamed it, nobody would be pressed too hard in many hands and make the light work. Well, that's what happened. Which really frustrated the bad guys, because it was totally contrary to everything that they were hoping to plug in with the Y2K disaster that was going to be done by the government as we argued all along it's not that why do you keep an exist it did not that the white uk slash a technical problem wasn't there it was a lot of money was spent privately not just public money but a lot of private money was spent on the logic that whoever could be better organized and prepared while not telling their enemy would actually uh... be up in a line in business when their enemy wasn't all that so that works yeah that's right but there are a lot of companies who were more affected by all why is that how about because they were hooked up to the head their business running off the internet to begin with you see how we've done business for the last you know two hundred years before computers well actually did a pretty darn good job and in fact because things were slowed down and had more definition in a way are actually should say we're a very good one say uh... slowed down so much as were kept at a common sense pace there was no possibility of baffling anybody with phenomenal numbers in any bs part of the ponzi scam game which really helped to plug their acceleration in was the computer before before that the bookkeeping was pretty consistent right in fact before that bookkeepers used to be called computers that's right they were the computer and it was it was expected that they'd be uh... very competent and there was accountability and responsibility. Of course it was a heartburn job in that respect. It was as bad as being a tool and die man because all those numbers had to crunch. Everything had to come together. So what happened? I mean, we obviously, we, well, we didn't exist before computers. That's not the case. So, when everybody does this, oh my god, what are we going to do when they... Well, we're going to continue as we have, but you have to have a tactical solution at your end first. That way you can deal with local problems. The strategic overview is not as critical as everybody thinks, because the strategic process is dictated by all of the tactical battlefields, guys. This is something everybody seems to forget. It comes right down actually to the ground pounder, bayonet to bayonet. But beyond that, it's the tactical or local activities that dictate strategic policy. There might be a hope that they can move things in a certain direction, but if everybody pretty well ignores the idea, oh my goodness, Don, we can't hear from Washington anymore. Well, that's terrible. My car is still growing. Hold on here. Your point. My garden is still growing. Yeah, my garden's growing. Hey, local activity is still here. You know, if Washington dropped off the planet tomorrow, most everybody would cheer as far as our people go. Everybody goes, foreign government's going, oh my goodness, Washington is gone. And we all be going, yoo hoo, Washington is gone. Yeah, now you gotta deal with us. No more of the lying buffoons nor any of the trees. That's gonna be kind of hard, isn't it? And that's really what the foreign governments would be fearing, especially the ring knockers and parasites that are trying to undermine the country to begin with and trying to slave out the United States. were gone tomorrow, who would care? See, that's one of the, so again, you know, and as far as overall communications guys, well there are many systems, but let's go right back to, and I know we do harp on this for a reason, sometimes it's right in your face and obvious. That little Star Trek communicator you have is cute, but it's designed to be shut off at their discretion. Doesn't mean they can't shut all these other systems off, but the bad guys like focusing all their eggs into one basket, if at all possible, too. And the cell phones are absolutely under their control freak mechanism. But there are many other frequencies out there, bandwidths that can be used. You've got CB, which for local, and we're not talking long distance, although you can use it. Man, people put linear amplifiers in the things. They put amps in the things to the point where you can speak to Mexico or halfway around the world with a radio that was designed originally for talking maybe across the county and partially across the state. All of a sudden we could talk to the moon. Well, Dom, that was nice, but it's not essential if you look at the A at regular AM radio like that, CB radio, as nothing more than local phone communications. That's what it was meant to be. Now, it doesn't mean we don't have base stations and all these other... Oh yeah, I've got a pair of beams out in the back, okay? Those are actually... It's a mega-death, yaggy antenna is what it is. Everybody calls them beams. i've got a set picked him up back in the day still have sitting on standby in fact we were you know one of our friends was saying that we're going to put those up uh... still have the entron antennas everything is in place ready to go and runs right now in fact we have several different cbs in place uh... marine channel body of guys have not thought about this if you're looking for marine radio as you can go pretty much any supply but you go to cabela And by the way, last year's Cabela's models of weather, I'm sorry for weather, I keep doing that again, marine channel radios are over in their sales room right now. There's a black model, a white model, and maybe up to four or five of them because they've changed out to another marine radio. There's no change in the radios themselves, just another model. They picked another brand. So right now you can go over into their sales shop and they've got them sitting on the shelf. They've got both the CB size like you'd find boxes you'd find in your car or your semi truck today or at the truck stop. And you'll also find handheld marine radios. which means you have everything you need for a pay station and a couple of mobile units and the prices are about half off what they normally would be so cabela's is one option but that's not the only there are many different sources for marine channel radios now you don't have to if you're a little bit but it'll be good okay stick it up put it on the shelf have it ready to go then and uh... when the time comes plug it in use it You don't have to run it right now, but the whole idea is to have the equipment on hand. Otherwise, my recommendation, I would do a radio rack with a CB radio, a marine channel radio, and a two meter radio at least. And that way you cover pretty much everything across the spectrum that's in local tactical communications, although again, two meter will get you a lot farther because of all the repeaters. But between those three, you've got a lot of option with regard to communicating to other people. Another thing I'd drop on that rack, Mark, might be a scanner or two. And again, there's the reason for that. And by the way, not just the newest scanner. Somebody goes, oh, that's an old scanner there. That's from the 60s or 70s. Good. Plug it in. You want to know why? A lot of your enemy components actually operate in those older frequencies, VHF and UHF, because they figure nobody's watching them. Oh, Mark, I thought I'd put a scanner on there. to the local problems and developments so that I'm... That's right. So we might be able to assist when the time comes. Yes. But what's interesting is, for instance, when there have been fabricated incidents in this area, for instance, lo and behold, it was the older scanner that picked up the actual radio activity of our enemies. We had tried to fix something and move it into position and were caught while they were signaling each other. So, older scanners of any kind, newer scanners and frequency testing equipment, that's another way to describe it by the way, is an option and should be on the shelf for obvious reasons. At the very least, it doesn't make any difference. Consider this. You have a meter reading. If you get a really spiked meter reading on what is a cloaked or a blocked and encoded frequency, That is a telltale indicator you have aggression in your area. There you go. You don't have to be able to hear what they're saying to at least know that the activity is there and that in and of itself allows for you to go to activity stations and prepare. Now another thing with the proper antenna, this is something most people talk about, depending upon the activity and how intense it is and how close it is, you can actually ID the specific direction of each of the transmitters. You simply use the meter as a reader and of course the antenna becomes your directional device. And you can actually ID the individual transmitters being used. They may be encrypted, but that doesn't make any difference. You can still zero on each of those targets. And there are a couple of cool tricks if you use two transmitters, two transceivers, where you can actually monitor and i'd be and get effective cross reference for counter battery solutions all i'm sorry i mean uh... for going the exact location at least within reasonable distance of where your aggressor might be with a little bit of pathfinding or reconnaissance working you know exactly where it is and that means there's no surprise there's no way the you know there are no surprise situations that can develop this technology we've been using for a long time and it works exceptionally well by the way a little test on that that a lot of the departments use encryption. Well guess what? Here's a little test with your handheld units if you pay attention. Experiment in town when the patrol cars are moving around and watch to see how your meter responds to test meter response and range. You see how that works? you can actually physically look at and watch as a car is moving and if the radio is activated you're going to actually be able to identify both the meter read and of course the range of the vehicle by physically looking at it although in some cases it may go out of sight you know that's in the operational area when it goes off you can actually ID the relative distance so there's all kinds of cool things you can do just with scanners okay and frequency counters frequency counters are another cool tool And frequency counters are quite priceless because in many cases they also offer other information depending upon how old they are. Older with frequency counters typically is better. Newer is simply mortified and impeded. Okay, it's hindered in some way guys. So that's another thing to take into consideration. Now, the other thing, long range communications. That's one of the things everybody... How are we going to find out what's going on way over where? Well, I get back to the basic issue. Do you really need to know at this moment what's going on way over there? I mean, it's nice. It's a comfort thing. It's kind of like comfort food, something a butternight brought up, which is a term that we've used for years with food storage items. You know, there's what we call nummy food, comfort food. It's psychologically, it's morally uplifting, psychologically uplifting. It makes you feel good. Okay, well, that's basically what you're looking for. I just want to know everything that's going on. Well, we're lucky because for the not for the now in this moment, this day and time, you know, day and time, we have been able to do that. We have communist news network, which kind of tells us what's going on sometimes and lies most of the others. All you do is watch your satellite feeds and all that. But at least, you know, again, people will say, well, I know what's happening all the way around the world. Well, you know, in the old days, we had to work at it. and people just don't like that word there's a four-letter word that most people hate W O R K and instead of it just being like well this is magic silver bullet and all you have to do is this and you get everything you want instead you're going to have to work at collection and that means you're going to have to have people who are designated for communications This is where signal communications operations come in and you have teams, people who have become technicians in their particular area of interest and you envelop them in the technology. You give them all the resource you can. Plus, you want them to be teaching or you want to teach as many people as you can as quickly as you can so you have more than one operator or more than one technician that knows the whole game. Otherwise, guess what? Something happens to him. You're kind of screwed. and we don't want to see that happen now do we? So the other thing is how many hours in a day can a guy stay up? Anybody ever thought about this? Well I want to be able to hear what's going on around the world. Well in a battlefield or a crisis situation guys you're going to need to do 24 hour monitoring. Are you going to keep your radio tech up 24-7? Wouldn't work very well would it Don? That'd get kind of rude. He's asleep on the transmitter. Electric shock him again. Oh, what? I was trying to get a nap here. Let me catch a nap. Oh man. The point is, you gotta remember you're looking at 24 hour shifts, seven days a week, 365 days a year kids. The world, it changes. And that means that you're gonna need to have both technicians and monitors, individuals and every, you know, in other words, everybody should be trained to this task so you can rotate that post so that no one person is fatigued out of it. Now, it doesn't mean there are people who don't love to run radio. Everybody, I wouldn't have any problem with that, but there are a lot of other things that need to be done. I can deal with it, I can set the equipment up, I can take the time and build it from scratch if need be, okay? Well, you know, one way to keep the radio operator awake, Mark, is to put him on the generator, the bicycle generator. That just tears him out more. Yeah, but you know, at least he's doing something. The other thing about that is- Then you put the electric shock drives on him, that way he continues to pedal. If you're gonna run up an alternator system like that, you know, a system like that, you're going to have to run filters in, otherwise you're going to get a lot of interference into your reception. This is why we try to do things. The equipment we have, the idea guys, is that we've got to have the individuals trained. And for long range, shortwave radio transmitters, transceivers ideally, are your best choice. That doesn't mean you can't buy just trans... trans... trans... trans... trans... trans... trans... trans... transceivers. You can. You can buy units that just receive shortwave. in some radios come in two block systems with a transmitter and a receiver separate. So what you want to do is try to come up with a solution that fits your wallet, that allows you to have shortwave monitoring and a full band width, you know, full all the way up and down the spectrum, all the way up and down the scale, so that you can see what's going on around the planet. You know at certain times to tune into certain frequencies, such as the Liberty Net, which is of course every Saturday night and Sunday morning, every Saturday night and Sunday morning you can tune in, hook up, and we'll listen in to a whole bunch of guys that are like mine that are testing their equipment. Now the frequencies vary depending upon the area of operation because there are sub-liberty net systems that are up already. The guys literally work across the whole of the country from 10 o'clock in the evening on Saturday night until the wee hours of the morning. These guys are plugged in and they are continuing to operate and of course as propagation builds across the country, you'll find that more and more people are participants step by step as this works. So we'll give you the frequencies. In fact, I was looking for right here. I think, nope, I don't have to raise your hand. But I don't want to mess anybody up by giving them an improper spec on this, but what I'll do is give you the read in a little bit. If we are not able to hook up to the primary because there's activity, that's not a problem. They either step up or step down by a little bit of a knock on the variable rheostat. And usually you'll find the guys there. As you wish to join in, you can participate. There's a coordinator. This gives everybody a chance to test their rigs out, check their antennas out. A lot of guys go mobile, hook up antennas out in the middle of nowhere, basically take their rat rig out there, hook up the transceiver. and are testing their gear and testing their improvised antennas. So there's a number of solutions, but the whole point is that shortwave is an option and it's one that you should have in hand. Now the more money you spend on a receiver, in many cases, obviously the better the receiver you have to utilize when the time comes, but it doesn't have to be the most expensive to get you into the game. That's true of everything we're talking about. There's low end, mid-range, and high end CBs. They're the same as true of marine radios, which parallel, basically in production, the same size and cost of the CB radios. They use the same boxes. Two meters, typically are fairly compressed and small today by comparison because of all the microchips. But you can step back two or three or four generations in two meters right now. and pick up a pretty decent handheld radio. That's not oversized, it's about the size of a traditional little walkie talkie, say from the 80s or 90s. However, in this case, in 2m. With regard to shortwave transceivers, guys, you can go as little as something the size of a couple of cigar boxes stacked, one on top of each other, two as big as something that's going to take up a computer desktop. Just purely a matter of the system. how old it is uh... example of how many different add-on components and how old it is uh... you might have the old heat kit system playing around nothing wrong with them at all tube kit radios beautiful rigs have a mohawk with all the add-ons and the frequency uh... extensions etcetera etcetera to transceiver and uh... i'm the second owner of it it's a really nice little unit so i can't say little it's a good size unit about the size of couple of bread boxes But we can talk to the world with it. And the point is, for what I paid for it, I'll take a sledgehammer to it myself when the time comes. Yeah, but you know, the EMP won't hit it like a sledgehammer. Oh no, just in reverse. It's completely shielded and protected, plus it has supplemental shielding on board for just that reason. It was during the Cold War, and the guy knew what he was doing. So in that respect, there's many failsafes that would not normally be on board. And it was an option, but a lot of people didn't buy it because Most of the Heath kits, especially the bigger units and the shortwave radio kits, were just simply outrageous. I would love to have had this back when I was young. I simply could never have afforded it. It cost more than a car. The radio rig cost more than a car as a kit to give you an idea. More than a Mach 1 Mustang off the shelf in 1973. There we go. That should tell you something right there, guys. And trust me, I was looking at that Mach 1 Mustang and thinking, yeah, I'd like to have that. And I'd like to have the Heath kit, too. and they didn't have either one of them. I still have some nice cars, but I didn't buy brand new. Anyway, point is that there is a lot of decent equipment out there and the Dayton O'Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio. The Dayton Hamfest is coming up this weekend and everything I'm describing and a whole lot more guys is going to be there. So if you're looking for radio equipment and you're going, man, I only got a couple hundred dollars to spend, you take $200 down there. and you're going to come up with everything that I'm talking about for your personal use. And that includes the fact you can probably find a shortwave transmitter, no it won't be fancy, within that price range for about a hundred dollar mark for used. Just don't get cutting edge state of the art, it doesn't have to be the flagship of the fleet. The same is true for all backup CBs and even your marine channel radios. There's a lot of guys that come down there with piles of CBs. they collect them during the year they refurbish them they clean them up uh... some years they don't say that your job and they'll sell them for fifteen dollars apiece twenty dollars apiece usually got a pile of them that are like their beaters they're good radios uh... i've installed many of those in michigan we literally installed hundreds and hundreds of stations and we built everything from the top to bottom guys Antron antennas, COAC bought 500-foot spools of COAC's cable, bags and bags of connectors, and I would be soldering until I was cross-eyed, and I'm not exaggerating, to the point of exhaustion, because we were expediting the process, and what we did is everybody, we had little teams put everybody up and online with their marine channel, CB base stations or CB conventionals with boosters, shortwave stations, the whole nine yards. So, I've personally participated in that and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that everything you need will be at the Dayton O'Hara Ham Fest so that you can plug in and you'll be able to participate in the same way. So, it's not that difficult a deal. Plus, if all else fails with the CBs and I'm going to remind you again, guys, the industry is soft. Right now, if you go to the truck stops, they finally have been marking stuff down even more. and they have discontinued product lines now where they've even put racks off to the side. You can make deals on the radios themselves. You can pick up the magnet antenna mounts and the coax right there all connected. All you do is put a cigarette lighter hook up there into the, attach it to the radio. You can do it all in the parking lot. and you could be up and online with a CV in a matter of minutes. Now you don't wait till the last minute to do this. You have the stuff on standby, ready to roll, box it up, put it in. In fact, here's a little trick here, guys. Watch for people throwing away all these cool transport boxes for jigsaw or, you know, they're kind of like plastic throwaway pelican cases. The ones they use for skill saws or things like that. The reason is that these are armored boxes. and typically they have nice little trays. If you have to, cut them out the rest of the way to open them up. You can take your whole radio, you can put all your coax, if you get the right one you can even take that little magnet mount fixture for your antenna and the antenna itself and put it all in that plastic box with little clock two clips. It's watertight, it's armored from being beat on and you put that behind the seat in your truck or you put that in the trunk where it's safe and doesn't get the snout beat out of it. and uh... guess what you've got it already to go but you don't have it on your car for now if you're not thinking you're going to use it uh... my problem with that is it be a good idea to practice using your equipment because uh... you don't want to find out last minute that you really don't understand how things work so it'd be a real good idea to plug it in test it and see what it does Once you do that, put it back in the box if you want to, that's fine. But have these little armored packages set up and watch the yard sales. Watch the side of the road. People throw stuff like that out all the time. It doesn't have to be brand new. It's going to get beat on anyway. It's going to get the snot knocked out of it while it's in the truck or while it's having all this stuff thrown out of it. It's in the trunk. Big deal. That's not going to be a problem. The equipment, the soft, chewy stuff inside doesn't get hurt. And that's the key to this right now. What we're looking at is trying to give you solutions so you can continue to operate and, you know, at your present level, but have everything on standby if need be, ready to roll. And not top end where you're like, oh my goodness, Mark's telling me to buy $1,000 or $2,000 worth of equipment. No, if you have $2,000 just go right ahead. I'm not going to slow you down. I'd love to have another person online that has a full ham rig that's as nice as anything possibly available out there. And you could spend more than a few thousand dollars. There's guys that have tens of thousands of dollars hooked into their rigs. So don't make a mistake about that. When you go to the Hamfest you'll find cutting edge state of the art there all the way down to cutting edge state of the art from five generations and ten generations ago which the guys that now have the brand new stuff inside that they sold to somebody else and they sold to somebody else and they sold to somebody else. There's nothing wrong with it. It works just fine. That's right. Get it while we can and get it now and then you'll have that question answered. Well, what do we do when everything shuts down? Because I know that question is asked many times over. Now as far as the frequencies and such, that's something we have been working on and experimenting with for a long time. We have been testing the information out. We actually have the systems out and seeing what will work best. Now the marine channels, let me give you an example. This is the state of Michigan. go grab a Michigan map and understand that, for instance, when we set up the marine channel grid that we have in place, two radios, actually three radios, can jump the state of Michigan. If one transmitter is on the eastern side of the state, on the Detroit River, and it transmits and bounces out to say a transmitter in Lansing, Michigan, just actually to the east of Lansing, Michigan, That station can repeat and send that transmission the rest of the way across the state to Luddington. Width of the state of Michigan. You do the math and take a look at your state. Without having to do a whole lot of special work, you can actually set a grid up that will bounce across the state of Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, obviously cover the height of Tennessee. It's not as tall as the state of Michigan is wide. So think about that. Now there's some terrain, some hills in between there with Tennessee and Kentucky. We know that. Michigan's got some rolling terrain too, but our terrain was a little different because it actually is uphill as you go farther upstate. And for that reason, the high ground is in the northern country. And to get past those bumps there, you've got to have something with a little more energy, and that's exactly what we do with the transmitters that we have. Again, height is everything with antennas. Another thing with them, the higher you can go, you will be the farther you will reach. It's that simple. So another consideration. Another option too is Antenna Kits. Take a look when you're down there at the Dayton O'Hara Hamfester if you're doing investigative work on the internet or if you're going to go do some research in the library which is a really good idea. uh... you will find out more about the idea of setting up an improvising antennas and leaving them in place something i mentioned earlier you can have antennas looked up all over your area of operation just leave them abandoned where they are when the time comes you drive up nobody's going to notice a nobody's paying attention people don't even people really eight or ninety percent of what they're doing they don't pay attention to the surroundings and they sure as hell don't notice detail So as long as you aren't too obvious with what you're doing, you can hook up equipment or set up antennas in a hundred different places, and the average person isn't going to have a clue. Okay? And you are going to have a significant edge on everybody else when the time comes with regard to tactical operations. Remember, our victory at the tactical end dictates the strategic situation. Now it's the other way around. Anyway, I hear the music down, we're all ready to break. Hey, the first one in the first hour, so you guys write down the numbers that you're in during the break time or grab a cup of coffee. You know, I'm not trying to tell you what to do. You're going to do what you're going to do and we're going to be back in about three minutes. K.T. Ordnance offers the best ATF approved 80% kits that can be made into firearms. And you know, we've touched that. Go to the dentist. And I wanted to do this in the next hour. A lot of times when we come back, we'll put the number up in a little while. And I know, Mark, that this might be a trivia and or watch my room as hard as they can. And they try to bring up the dinky little things and make them run, you know, so to speak, right there. Everybody look at this, no side our nation. You know, there are people who work against abortion and there are people who are involved. take action and there are people who even go out and murder the murderers, oh sorry, kill friends, you know, to defend the innocent is to do. And I know this is a distraction you guys, but imagine what would happen. One of the big distract now is Mark. They're talking about this girl from California who is a country of, uh, became Miss California. Now she went on, I think, to compete in Miss USA or something. She didn't make it, but I'm not even certain about all the details if she did or not. But the thing about it is, during the contest, she gave her Christian views. It was right down to a lot of people I'm told. I don't know all the details of it. I'm gonna sit here and watch the Miss America contest and I know, you guys, I know this is true. Like the gay thing and I don't even like to use that word because why do you deal with them in their terms calling them? So I won't do that. Anything in judgment of who gave her Christian answer. I'm gonna say here, he applied them in a contest. No media mark. What's happened? Oh, a magazine mark? But you know there are three other disallowed or... I wish I could say, call up Donald and tell you, but you know, there are other people that can target, like how about, oh, what if we were to, and this is where I'm gonna tie this, what if we were to just look over into the nondescript right hand area and smack one of these people? What if, or whoever it is that runs up hard as they can to make your children be raised in a world to think that, oh, that's okay. Everything's fine, I got a gate, I got a queer teacher, but it's okay. What if we were to look into that world and smack And you know, it's just, it would be as exactly. Exercise mark, we've done this. Pull people out of the jaws of the beast. And if we did this, and I'm not just saying we should, if we were to organize like the queer, knock them back into the closet. And I'm, this is just example. For communication ability and using communications that we have further their agendas. No matter what it is. And I'm doing the same thing here, but I'm trying to further an agenda called But freedom doesn't mean that I get to go over and son that it's okay to be raised a queer. Tell you what, here, I'm sittin'... This is a kind of a rant now, Mark. I'm kind of ranting, but I wanna give example here. There's about four of my nieces got married. Now here's... My father tried to urge me to stand in a picture so we could be recorded into history. And I did not stand in that picture. Because I'm not gonna... You know, father, well, you write history, you're gonna write history, Mark. And you know, to a great extent, I'm fine. Well, you're not gonna catch me in a... That's his brother, he was a queer. own choices and I can determine exactly the situation. They're trying to, they're trying to, they're working against the, to the table.
