Summary
Mark Koernke and Don Betcher discussed the H1N1 flu outbreak response, criticizing government failures in border control and public communication. They covered market data, the World Health Organization's Level 5 pandemic declaration, and the controversial New York City 747 flyover incident. The hosts emphasized preparedness through nutrition (garlic, vitamin C, spicy foods) and spent considerable time analyzing weapon camouflage techniques, rifle carry positions, and seasonal color adaptation for field operations, drawing on military history from Vietnam, Desert Storm, and South Africa.

True, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each god-given right, we only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free and home? Well good afternoon ladies and gentlemen this is the afternoon intelligence report. I'm Mark Kornke and I'm Donald Betcher. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories Central, Southwest, East and Northwest. Well ladies and gentlemen you are listening to us on... the Liberty Tree Radio dot 4mg dot com, pbn dot 4mg dot com, and we are on the live 365 and go to Liberty Tree Radio. You will also find us on AM&FM microstations, CB base stations, and ultra net technologies both east and west of the Mississippi along with southern and central Alaska. Well, we're also on the Hallmark network on the East Coast. Hey, we're everywhere. We're on the Hallmark on the East Coast and that's eight colonial states plus expansions in almost all directions, even probably on the water, guys. But soon the Golden Spike transmission will be in place and that means we'll be broadcasting on three separate and free and independent systems above and beyond the internet, superior to the internet in several ways. While they can cut the internet off, that's fine. They'll be cutting off their nose to spite their face. When the time comes, guys, we will be able to show that we can operate separate from them to all the people who are in need. Think about the concept here. Start thinking about expansion, especially with regard to hearts and minds. The system is failing us in all directions. Look what they just did with containment in Mexico. They have failed utterly, and they have billions and trillions they spent, squandered and wasted on nothing. Now, Don, today's date is... She gave many examples of how she would never hurt anyone. And then I thought to myself, and then I came back because I could see the wife, who was my friend, who were, well, what if you came home? Someone had Randy there on the floor, and she said, I would out hesitation. I would now see how the example being here, you know, were to fly. But when you see that happening to you, you can turn cash for a milk toast, forgive me for using that. But into the, when that which, where you guys, another thought. And when you talk about karate tournament fight, well, you get some flack. I was raised in people out to turn us and we didn't train with weapons, but we trained to get better. The only weapon we tripped with was a rubber knife. Now with the thought-nats, once you master your body, you can pick all if any instruction, make it work. Again, it's now getting back to that. Numerous mindsets about probably 15, maybe 20 black belts who have never been in a fight. Some of them doctors and lawyers by the training. I can't f*** hell to do it. And if you grasp that, think, well, you're training Again, I repeat, and I'll quit after this. I cannot tell someone what to do. Understand that, and the OS of America is freedom, isn't it, Mark? The basic premise, and again, I'll be quiet now, but I will tell you again. I can't tell you what to do. I can't sure tell you how to do it. Well, I'll tell you what. One of the things about being a teacher, too, is as we know, Don, we teach by example. We have to lead by example as an instructor in those conditions. It is most important that our students always remember that we will have fun. First of all, understand that. Have you ever been around us? You think we are strange on the radio? Oh man, we have a hell of a time when we are all bouncing around off each other together. Trust me guys. When it comes to instruction, that is when people sometimes have a hard time because they are used to Mark or Don being easy going. There is a point where you can have fun, but there is a point where you have to be able to switch your mind and be absolutely serious. In fact, you can still have that level of preoccupation and seriousness when you are dealing with certain tools, machines, or equipment anyway. You cannot frivolously walk up, jack a car up precariously in the wrong spot and slide under figuring, well, 80 times out of 100 I'll make it. It's the pair of legs jerking around with a car about two and a half tons of steel laying on your chest that usually is a good indication that well, that's one of those 20 times you failed, you know what I mean? But if you're lucky someone's there, but chances are those 20 times where the failures have taken place, somebody wasn't and so it's terminal. So even when you're playing with your favorite toy, it can be a snowmobile, it can be a car, it can be a boat. I've lived on a lake and watched people Run right over with boat motors guys, and if you want to talk about you know playing you know not kamikaze So much as being sliced and diced by a samurai. Oh my goodness There's nothing like pulling people out of the water that have been hango hacked and chopped by a by a boy 70 horse motor with a big prop on it sharp rusting and there and had to help do that So, it gets real serious real fast. So you have to pay attention. You have to have a certain level. There's a process there that you have to be attached to the reality. It doesn't mean you still can't have fun. But somebody has to stay attached. And that's where the teacher's job is to allow the student to make mistakes within reason. See, this is what I want to point out because students will always make mistakes. That's acceptable. It's one of the most common things. Don, you know when I've talked to people in crowds, I'll ask questions. And you know, I see the classic schoolroom response. Nobody will answer because they're afraid because someone's going to laugh at them or ridicule them or whatever. And the first thing I have to do is correct that always. I will never ridicule you if you make a comment or a statement as a response and it's wrong. What we will do is correct it in the appropriate manner so that you learn and you will remember that mistake. You will remember and be corrected. That is the whole idea. Sometimes though without extreme injury, painful mistakes correct flaws in and following instruction. Come at the instructor, make a mistake and the instructor will teach you about basic pain. There is a little audio. We don't have it on track and Ed could play it for us. It is part of the Boot to the Head series. If any of you have ever heard any of these pieces on Dr. Domeno, there is one with the sensei and the dojo with the class. If you have never heard this before, it is a classic example of teacher and the students. And more importantly, the teacher and a certain student who feels that he can cut all this other stuff out because the teacher doesn't know what he's doing. I want to get to the meat of the thing. So it's like, okay, well, step forward. You shall learn. And that's kind of like what happens in different situations. Now, in most cases, especially when it's one-on-one, the idea behind it is that you're driving the point home and you're not going to embarrass anybody. However, you may be in a situation where you have to teach many students and it's not so much embarrassment as driving the point home and you have the rest of your students will learn that I don't want to be up in front of everybody and make that mistake. See how that works? So positive reinforcement here through group therapy sometimes helps. It doesn't mean that we ridicule so much as we demonstrate that there is an action that will, in a series of steps, culminate in a failure. We want to correct that. We want the students to all see the error. And obviously from outside of the box, if you're teaching a student, it can be rifle marksmanship, pistol marksmanship, Taekwondo, boxing. I don't care what it is. Everybody else will observe, but they observe it more from a laboratory perspective. Whereas the individual who's receiving the instruction sometimes has a hard time because they're blurred by personal anxiety. There's the best way to describe it. Tension or fear or whatever. So, what you need to do is always repeat the condition over and over again and watch for a similar error to be made so it can be corrected with the first student observing the rest. And this is critical to overall training, to overall conditioning, how to get a person to actually perform to the best of their ability. And like we said the other day, our goal is for our students to excel beyond us. Yes. That is the best common connection to one of our people. I hear Don, pay attention, you have to stay with us for just a few minutes as we enter the dojo. Who disturbs our meditation as a pebble disturbs the stillness of the pond? Me. Ed Grubermann. Yeah, no disrespect or nothing, but like how long is this gonna take? Taekwondo leap is not a path to adore, but a road leading forever towards the horizon. So like what, an hour or so? No, no, we have not even begun upon the path. Ed Grubermann, you must learn patience. Yeah, yeah, yeah, patience. How long will that take? Time has no meaning. To a true student, a year is as a day. A year? I want to beat people up right now. I got the pajamas. Beat people up. Yeah, just show me all those nifty moves so I can start crashing bozos. That's all I came here for The only use of ty-quan leap is self-defense. Do you know who said that? Keeloni the great teacher. Yeah. Well, the best defense is a good offense You know who said that? Mel the cook on Alice Taekwon leap is the wine of purity not the vinegar of hostility Meditate upon this truth with us Listen shrimp. Are you gonna show me some fancy moves or am I gonna start waving the walls with you? Ed Guberman you failed to grasp Taekwon leap approach me that you might see all right finally some action observe closely class boot to the head You are lucky Ed Grubermann. Few novices experience so much of Taekwung Leap so soon. Now we continue. Ahhhhhh. No shorty huh? Come on you chicken! Boot to the head. Okay, I'm ready, okay, no! Boot to the head. Mind if I just lie down here for a minute? Now class we shall return. Master, it is wrong to tip the vessel of knowledge student. Many apologies master, but I feel Ed Grubermann is not wholly wrong. What do you mean? I want to boot some head too. Have you learned nothing from the lesson of Ed Grubermann? Yes master, I have learned two things. First, that anger is a weapon only to one's opponent. Very good. And secondly, get in the first shot. Boot to the head. You missed. Ah yeah. Well. You two shall be honored to learn a lesson now. You don't have to, you know. I have begun. Can anyone tell us what lesson has been learned here? Ah yes, master. Not a single one of us could defeat you. You gain wisdom, child. So we'll have to gang up on you. Get it down! And now class, let us rejoin the mind to the body and gaze into the heart of the candle in meditation. Very good plan. A lot to be learned. Did you pay attention? You can get your own copy of that. Mark, you can get your own copy of that. If you would, uh, $15 from the Reserve Notes or whatever, you can order a rapid PBN. 194. Hey Don, real quick, you know we like to support the artists and the people who actually do this. I'll tell everybody how they can get a copy of this right now. You can go to Best Buy or Media Play if there's still one in your area or whatever music store you got and look for Dr. Demento's 20th Anniversary Collection. It's on disc 2. It's track 16. Thank you Mark. That was tremendous. Lots to be learned. And once again remember, boot to the head. It's Weapons Wednesday. Remember, the whole of your body is a weapon, sometimes because you do not bathe. But otherwise... Oh hey, one last, Mr. Shim's books, 15 years now, but still nice in the martial arts community. In Mr. Shim's books, and a number of them, he references a Japanese martial artist who cultivated gastronomical feet, particular things, and if he got you in a hold, he would burp, and you would... and this is historical. was No, you can't hear me. Something just happened to you. What did you do? I don't know. Let me kill the other volume over here. I'm getting feedback. You're sounding like the beginning of a Beatles album. Admiral Halsey couldn't fight me. He had to have a birth so he couldn't go to sea. He had another look and he had a cup of tea and a butterfly. Go ahead and do that again. Now I got it. There we go. There we go. Yeah, I was on the other phone and I needed to switch over. I have to join Don and Dave because this is something we don't get to do very often. Oh well. Hopefully that was enough to be heard. Today I got a couple of reports I thought you might like to have. They did a major thing here as far as another special gubernatorial conference this afternoon. Let me get the stock market and throw this thing out of the way. Today, the Dow Jones had a big comeback after the great big up and down of eight points yesterday. It went 168.78 up today, so somebody's pumping the market. And it closed out the Dow Jones Industrial at 8,185.73. Silver went down though at $12.77 on silver. Gold climbed slightly to $898 and crude oil climbed up to $50.89 on the closing. The Indian rupee climbed a little bit today and the Japanese yen fell slightly against the US dollar. Those are the two biggest changes on the market. metal, though, did something weird. We've been reporting the last three days that it's been going down, down. Today, copper jumped $0.10, closing at $1.99. Nickel climbed $0.23, closing at $5.11. Aluminum climbed a penny, closing at $0.64. Zinc climbed $0.03, closing at $0.63. Lead climbed, too, closing at $0.60. the governor's report today. Both Governor Patterson and Dr. Danes of the New York State Health Commission were there to answer questions of the quest. They admitted that there are 75 possible cases now of the flu virus. In the state of New York, some schools have been closed as of today, though they said that doesn't mean that the virus was infecting, but those schools were closed as a precautionary measure. They also announced today too that there has been a confirmed case in Cortland, New York, my hometown, as well as we had the one yesterday here in Rochester. There is still no known flu virus vaccines available for this. However, they did also run a special on the new news that some manufacturers out there are working on a vaccine. It will not have any animal byproducts. It will be solely from insects. What are insects? I thought they were animals. But it's going to be an insects flu virus. It said it would be available by September to help forward out the epidemic. That basically covers what all their specials for their stuff. However, at 4 o'clock, gentlemen, you're about to get your wishes. You want the border closed? We're one level from it. The World Health Organization at 4 o'clock declared level 5 epidemic out of 6. 6 means the borders go closed. Well, interestingly enough, as we know, it takes 14 days typically for a virus to fully develop in most humans. during the 14 day period, they are carriers. They already knew this outbreak took place in Mexico. All they had to do was shut the borders and stop the flights. No big deal. Everybody would still be around and breathing. Nobody would be contaminated heavily. Mexico would have to deal with containment, but they have lots of people to employ for that. In fact, they got lots of cheap labor for that. They wouldn't have had any problem at all dealing with that problem. This is all after the cows have already come across the fence and somebody else's pasture. doing what they're doing. Dr. Daines also, in his admissions and confessions, admitted that the control, what's the thing out of Atlanta? CDC was aware of the outbreak on the 28th of March. So it's been four weeks, gentlemen, that they have been aware of the epidemic in process and they're just getting around to doing some stuff about it. They wanted to make sure I guess everybody had plenty of chance to be contaminated and not allow the carriers to be quarantined. Interestingly enough, this falls in line too with some of the other information that's already been available about where this outbreak We originally came to being in Mexico proper. One of the interesting things is that the Chinese have reported yet again today that they are on standby to just come in and take care of things. Now these are the same Chinese government that wants to come in and foreclose. So as far as the excuse as opposed to the reality of what this is all about. I'm watching Los Imba Bama Ding Nong's body language. I'm going to tell everybody something. I want you to do something. All of these press pieces have been done the last 48 hours. Shut off the volume and watch his reaction. Also pay attention to the eye interaction taking place, but the level of arrogance, the very facetious attitude, an arrogant level that is just in regard to general body language with all of the activity, but facial response, body set with regard to the shoulders and the physical response and interaction that is taking place. And then turn, you know, watch the app, watch what it is they are talking about, then go back and watch it with the sound on it. I'll give you the best example of this. The comments today about this flyover over in New York with the 747 and the F-16s, which by the way, it turns out as we said, they did tell the city, but then they told the city not to tell anybody in town. Now, I have a problem with that because New York needs to basically fire everybody they've got in the command management end because the argument was the Fed said that if anybody notified the public that they were going to be sanctions. And you know what I'd say to that? Well, sue me. And they should have gone to the AM and FM stations. They should have gone on television that morning and said, hey, you know, we've got everybody keeping an eye on things. The fire department and the police have everything in hand. There's going to be a flyover. Don't be panicked. We'll even tell you what they look like. Here they come. They're going to be here in, you know, so many minutes. Everybody, if you want to, get your cameras ready, whatever you want to do. But, you know, again, otherwise stay calm. Everybody by word of mouth would have been told what to watch for. But, instead, they intentionally, and there's no accent to this, and there's no doubt in my mind that Osama bin Ding Dong and all those goofs did that as a wag your wag their weenie in everybody's face routine. Because common sense would dictate, it would only take a few minutes. The New Yorkers, here's the thing about this, guys. Does everybody, Dave, you remember when they had the big blackout, right? Yes. Everybody stayed perfectly calm in New York, didn't they? Yes. In fact, they walked home, didn't they? What's the big deal here other than that they were intentionally creating this tempest in a teapot nonsense purely for the sake of fabricating crisis? Where I'm at here, we were out for almost 14 days. Again, but of course, several areas around us here. We were right on the very edge of that blackout. We were the absolute farthest eastern point and one of the reasons is to our west. is one of the major switching and transfer hubs for this part of the country. Actually, it's right over there, two ridges. I can walk to it from where I am right now within about half an hour. And the thing is close. I mean, if I go across country, it'll take a little longer, but I can go down the road, make a corner, go west, make another corner, and I can take you right to the spot. And either A, it's where all the squirrels apparently or supposedly die jumping in the transformers, that don't happen. But it either starts here or it ends here. best way to describe it. Where the hell did what you know the word communications is driven into anybody all you soldiers out there listening all you policemen out there listening all you firemen out there listening You tell me how it is they mucked up on that And then why wouldn't you tell the people what they're not going to panic especially tell them hey the presence plane is going to be flying by he's not on it by the way although who was it who was really on board what were they really doing see that would be my question then because otherwise you wouldn't care if anybody knew about the presence plane oh there is hi by yeah right I've seen it a hundred times game you know go to hell You know, that's the whole problem with this, is otherwise it created a lot of anxiety, it didn't need to be there, lost hours, it didn't need to take place, and everybody in management in New York knew about it. New York, you need to fire your people there in the city of New York and get new ones. You need to fire a whole bunch of people who should have not has said oh hell no We're gonna go a m&fm the mayor should have been on the on the radio that morning and should have been on the news would have been great Hey, you know what? Oh, send them a ding dong wants to have his plane fly over and through here and everybody stay calm Oh by the way, they didn't want us to tell you when we knew that would create a lot of panic. So instead no panic Everything's fine. There's going to be a couple of fighters. There's going to be a 747. Everybody's happy. Smile and wave. Get on with work. We've got to make sure we make money. Here you go. One of the other statements during today's press conference I thought was quite interesting when a reporter asked Dr. Daines in regards to how many counties had been infected. And he made a remark with extreme confidence. He stated that there were 75 possible cases presently and he said, well, taking that in consideration that there are only 54 counties, we believe that all counties are presently infected and if not, they most likely, most certainly will be by the end of the week. That was his answer to the press. Now one of the first things I will tie in with this by the way too, and again this is where my argument has been right from the beginning. They've tried every way they can twist to attack the liberty of the American people. And this is an example of a desperation act. When you look at these characters, understand this is a desperation act. Now the majority of the people, in fact up until the phase two once they're inside the US, So far, everybody that's either been dropping or been getting sick are, oh by the way, from Mexico. Not people from the United States per se, people from Mexico who have been down there, who were in the environment, they were heavily involved with and interacted with the population there. And lo and behold, when they knew this stuff was going on, cutting the border off, they all stayed right where they were. Nobody would have been crossing the border. Nobody would have been transporting the mutagen to wherever, the virus. And everything would have been fine. We have approximately 100 people right now who have just recently come back from Mexico here in the state of New York that are known, which all of them could possibly be carriers. Let's back up here. Here's my problem with that. that are known. Over 100 people here in New York that have returned from Mexico within the last week. I guarantee it was higher than that. Think about it. New York is a major hub. You've got a large Hispanic population there. You've got a whole bunch of why they're doing business in Mexico is beyond me. But okay, they're doing business in Mexico. Some of these other people are. It's got to be higher than that. But here's the thing. Guys, this is not 1955. Well, you don't get on a plane without two pieces of ID guys. Have any of you flown out there recently? This is not where somebody can say gee, Dave I don't have a clue who's on that plane I think there was a couple of guys or football players because I saw when they were big Instead it's okay. Not only can you punch in their name? But here, wait a minute, hold on a second, spy cams or us through the kosher mafia have, oh let's see, Vid Cam 1, Vid Cam 2, side shot B, side shot C, back of head, front of face, side shot, so what do you want? How many pictures do you want? Well, how many stills do you want? Oh, whatever you want. And we got movies, here you go. So, for them to even try to claim, we just don't know who is on the plane. We're just government, we don't know none of that stuff. Which is really more like, oh hey, we're with the government, they don't know none of this, they didn't tell me. Oh yeah, I know, we spent three trillion dollars on the police spittin' spinnin' on ya. But, boy, all of a sudden we don't know how to do our job. At the very least, people that get on a plane anywhere and fly anywhere, this in-room retentive control freak operation. has been has been spotting spying since 1993 on a massive scale and before 93 surreptitiously and In more recent years since 9-11 Please tell me how these people would not be known and would hell they don't not only known they know their address unless they're driving on false ID and Whose false ID would they be allowed to use and why wouldn't that show up as a flag? considering the transportation authority that we have Duh. Does anybody see a problem? See, I'm pointing out what should be the obvious to anybody thinking. Not only can they map out exactly who they were, if they punch another key, they're going to give you all the aliases for the person, their wives, their children, their grandparents. We were just playing with this system last night, guys. I can punch Dave's name in or anybody out there right now with a public system, and the basic gives you the entire family tree. Oh yes, absolutely. Now, so tell me how these buffoons of this police state all of a sudden are in a fog? Oh, kiss my arse. And here's the kicker. Everybody knows the casualties that are dropping right now are the ones that are being hospitalized. I would like to see pictures of them. They've got to be some pretty pictures that are their driver's license photos or their FBI photos or the database that's private that's been spying on Americans for how long photos. Let's take a look at these people and see what ethnicity they are. The police states will not be accurate. Police states are designed to be confusing, designed to create terror and fear. What are they doing right now? They are moving to the police state. Right. Now here's the thing. They are now at 11-5. They only have one more level mark and when they go to level 6, that's martial law. And the comical part about it is, and the sick and sad part is like we said before, stomp it in the arse, forgive me, stomp it in the arse, shut the border and be done with it. Now, to a degree, what you'll do is eradicate some of the second wave flow because there are people in Mexico panicking and running north anyway. My argument on this thing is, if you're looking at nothing else, if you have human vectors, It's like putting a firecracker on the far side of a herd to stampede what is already a nervous herd. And they've got all the other problems that have been whipped up and all the other nonsense that's been stirred, tempest in a teapot. You've got, don't forget the drug lords, you know, don't forget the blood. Let's go right down the shopping list for Mexico that all of a sudden the globalist ring knockers have discovered. Which, for anybody in the Patriot movement, we've talked about for the last two decades. Nothing is surprising us. And by the way, the thing about the Banditos, let's rub that into Señor, Pancho Villa, my grandfather, my grandfather, my mother's side, was down there with Blackjack Pershing during the escapades chasing Pancho Villa. That was one of his first military experiences. And again, that was one of the first mechanized too, by the way. But it's important to understand this ain't nothing new. So that didn't work. So then of course they're trying the desperate fiasco with turning your guns to save Mexico. Stick it. 29,000 weapons, if that's the most they got down there, that ain't Jack or a squat. So again, we know that most of those that they're dealing with are foreign arms from either the Mexican military or from overseas with people who are selling them to them because they're dope dealers. And they got all the money they need and they're already dealing in an illicit trade and nothing you're going to do to pass any additional laws is going to change Jack. Our weapons are what they are after. This whole BS, they are after our liberty. Get ready to deal with the problem accordingly. Now there are medical considerations or things we can take care of to deal with this. Most of it is common sense. I'm going to bring up something a little bit here, but it sounds like we have another caller. Caller, who do we have? I'm going to have somebody just listen in. Do we have another caller? Again, reminding people, eat garlic, eat garlic, eat garlic. That's right. Cook a Thai. And vitamin C. When you take vitamin C, it kills the virus. Well, yes, that too. But cook Thai, one of the things you remember, a lot of people are going to go, I'm going to chew on garlic. OK, fine. Tell you what, make up some really cool hot Thai or hot Korean and follow traditional recipes. If you don't know what they are, go find yourself an Asian food restaurant. Trust me, it will take your face off. But you're going to be ingesting all those cool things to keep all those bugs and viruses down. And one of them is cayenne pepper. The other one is, of course, capsimola, in whatever form helps. Obviously, the garlic oregano is another good choice. Eating intelligently is another thing people back off all the other stuff and start eating fresh and eating as much American as you can try to find stuff that's been made a year if at all possible and grown here and Not transported and irradiated because that's another problem There's a whole bunch of garlic out there that has already been fragged because it was imported from halfway around the planet Why I don't know we make lots of garlic here guys Try to buy from your local grocer or try to buy from a local person who's producing whenever possible or make your own Find out if your garlic is alive if it grows chances are it still is if you put it in the dirt and It sits there and stares at you like it's still in the fridge, and it just doesn't do anything That's probably a key indicator especially if you put it in the dirt, and it doesn't even mold It's worthless. Yeah, it's absolutely worthless, okay, and I've been watching this about I've got a cucumber experiment right now I got one that we picked up It hasn't molded, it just sits there and of course, I guess you can make dried cucumbers guys, but it's just sitting there in the fridge and it was one that was kind of iffy out of the pole pack and you know, so it turned up, you know, we forgot about it for a minute, but I'm not doing anything with it. It's not molding, it's not doing anything other than just shriveling up and drying, which means it's shriveled up and dead. So that tells me again radiation, not your friend, and it's going to take and destroy a lot of the critical components that help to deal with keeping your system where it needs to be to deal with these little plugs they're running. I had one for Don there. I think Don is going to step away. Oh, did he? What do you got? In any case, the foot that had in my old age, and since I got a broken hip, Don't work so much anymore, Mark, but I find that foot or knee to groin gives great impression. Right. You may have been able to reach the jaw, but you sure as hell could at least reach the crotch level. Exactly. Appreciate that. Lasting impression of the subject. Right. Boot to something else. Anything else? That's all I have today. Appreciate it, Dave. Thank you. If there's something else you wanted to ask. No, we're all set. Just keep us up to date on what's going on and pay attention with New York. Oh, also to the World Health Organization information on Level 5 was posted on MSNBC at quarter after four. Okay, so everybody's got an update on that. And by the way, it is 546 right now Eastern Time. Thank you, Dave. Bye-bye. God bless you. Again, a couple of things I want to get out before too late. A lot of you guys have been looking at the videos and learning something that we've already known about. It has to do with camouflage. We've talked about it. We've explained it. It has to do with your weapon systems. But I will point out it also has to do with your weapons. A lot of guys have altered the color of their equipment, mostly their weapons with spray painting. If you want to really see an example of this, Look at the different seasonal videos that are done with combat equipment, guys. A black rifle is not natural in the field. It's what a lot of weapons are right now. Black plastic rifle, black plastic and aluminum, black plastic and, you know, blue steel or parkerized metal or whatever. You will find that typically, even when people are carrying it, it will be called the muzzle dragger mode, where you've got muzzle down, muzzle dragging mode into the mud, into the gunk, into the dirt, into the ice, into the snow. It's okay in the desert, don't have a prom, because the sand kind of usually slides around and all the muddy and wet during the rainy season in Iraq is not good when the muzzle dragger runs it through some muck there. But here in the United States, basic rule as in what you saw with Vietnam is muzzle up and out of the environment because we are in a temperate condition. Muzzle dragging and the muzzle dragging concept came about because of helleborn operations, guys. That's really where it stems from is the idea. Again, remember, we got into that mode. There's been a whole school pushing it. I will demonstrate. We're going to do a little video here. We're going to take the person who feels he's most qualified as a muzzle dragger and we're going to pit him against a person carrying in prone high. We are going to be timing the person out. We are going to take two very adept shooters, but we are going to take two people isolated from each other and we are going to have them go up against each other and have some fun. We are going to have a standoff between you and Dave, Dad? Yeah, there we go. The reason I say that is because I understand the idea, but most people don't ask about history. Remember that if you look at the war, and again people are going, well that was the other war. Well guys, we aren't going to be fighting in the desert when we are done here. We're going to be fighting across the temperate environment of the United States, North America. You're going to see everything from what is the equivalent to summertime kind of rainforest conditions to extreme cold, bitter weather. This is not Iraq. It's not even Afghanistan, although Afghanistan is a little closer. And another thing, you're not going to be using your mobile operations, OK? One of the reasons for muzzledown goes all the way back to even Vietnam with the idea that, well, what's keeping you in the sky is over your head, OK? Rotors, we don't want to put holes in. The motor pack, we don't want to put holes in. the fuel diaphragm that may be near the motor pack, we don't want to put a hole in that either, okay? So the idea behind it was, muzzles down. You put a hole in the base of the aircraft, we're not going to be happy, but people aren't going to complain because chances are you're not going to do as much damage. Especially with your .223 rifle that doesn't have a whole lot of energy to begin with, okay? It wasn't designed for vehicle damage. In fact, it was designed for the air police to not do damage to aircraft, so it would be cheaper for them to beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, be So anyway, point is this, when you're in the field with operations like this, you're going to look at your gear, look at your equipment, look at the many videos out there, and I'll point out that one of the places where this was really emphasized and where it was learned very quickly is in South Africa. In South Africa, the troops did a fantastic job of, or in fact, their government came up with an excellent camouflage, Rhodesia did the same thing, that fit the savannah and fit the environment that they were in, the browns and the earth colors, etc. But still, they were finding that they were being detected fairly quickly by pickets and scouts with the aggressor. Well, when they started to interrogate them, they found out that what was the key indicator? What's the thing that allowed them to see the troops in motion? They said, your black rifles. They said, huh? It's very simple. Your rifle's being carried in a horizontal or a perpendicular direction to your body, and there's nothing natural in the environment that's black. or black and dark shades that's running horizontally across the environment. Now if you look in a typical condition that you're in the field guys, that's absolutely true. And so one of the things to consider is having on hand. You don't have to do it right now, understand maintenance on firearms. But in the future, actually having spray paint on hand in tactical colors that match the season would be a good idea. Remember, we just came out of the grays and browns. A lot of people noticed this when they saw the latest video we posted because we went out, the guys went out, the young men that were going out, the young guys that were being trained were going out in traditional battle dress. And some people made little comments, scrolled through the comments and they said, wow, you know, this is why woodland doesn't work. Now, woodland works and different camouflages work, but they work for different seasons. What's the dominant or predominant color range for most of the seasons that you're going to be addressing? Yeah, we actually recovered that while we were out there in the field too. Like I said, that was a class and training exercise. We only did it as a music video. You didn't see a lot of the class work that we did though with the guys when we went out there. Every pit stop that we made we were discussing covering ops-sec or camouflage. We even discussed the thing about the weapons. Another good way to break it up is camouflage socks guys. Put a green sock over your rifle. Or it's the same way with snow camo. You've seen the snow camo in some of our videos where we've got a white cloth or something over it. You can do the same thing during the summer guys. So you don't necessarily have to spray paint your $1,000 weapon or whatever if you want to keep it in pristine condition to resell it if you really want to resell it. But as we know, guns are for buying, not selling. If you're going to sell it, you're a fool. Yep. And one of the things to remember about this is you can observe this many, many times over. Again, we have to adapt the camouflage. This means this is something I've also talked about. It can be the rifle, it can be a squat automatic weapon, it may be an anti-tank weapon. It could be any number of different systems. Be prepared to alter the lines to break up the pattern. This is critical when you're in a field situation. Also to change the thermal signature. There are many, many different ways that that can be done. Remember, everything reflects, everything gives off a certain signature that allows them to identify man-made objects. What we're doing is we're trying to blend in. Obviously, it's what camouflage is all about. But we're trying to create a signature that will more easily, it will not distract, it will not attract the eye. It will not distract a person to attention and then bring greater attention to your silhouette. That's one of the things we're looking at. How can we do this? And there are a number of techniques. Yes, there are weapons that are even actually camouflaged in the latest tree bark or the latest real tree patterns. Hey, with shotguns, rifles, etc. If you've got that, congratulations. That's a good start. But I will point something else out. For instance, we came out of the brownout season. And even though we have a brownout season here in Michigan, I know we're getting close to the top of the hour here, but I want to touch on this. We've got about, oh, maybe eight minutes. One of the other points here guys is with your weapons a lot of guys have savannah tan. The browns and tans that you see that we are using over in Iraq. Well let me ask you something, where and how well do those blend in? When you look at the actual desert colors, where do they blend in? I will say this, now the five color chocolate chip, we have tactical operations we have been involved in. Since the 80s when our troops were in the Sinai, which is where the five color chocolate chip came in, that's what it was developed for, was for our troops working for the UN in the Sinai Peninsula between the Egyptians and the Israelis. Most people don't even know the troops were there. Well, when that stuff all came out in surplus, and by the way it did in quantity, it's a lot of the equipment we fit our troops out with that we provided support for in Desert Dust 1, The Adventure Begins. We got it from the suppliers that bought it from the Department of Defense. The Department of Defense just got rid of it, then they went over into Iraq. Now it should be noted that most important here is that the five-color chocolate chip actually works pretty well in the brownout conditions here in Michigan or in the Midwest in temperate conditions. Whereas the three-color or the solid tans actually draw attention. How many of you have noticed this? I know you have. Anything that's a solid tan color or a solid light brown color. A light, light brown into the tan shade range is drawing attention. It doesn't blend in very well anywhere. Kind of like the example we're talking about. The tactics in the desert work in those conditions, but do not work and will not work effectively in other conditions. Be prepared for this. And I would also warn a lot of the vets about this. A lot of guys served in Vietnam. You hear this comment. And part of this is conditioning. And this is stupid. The troops who fought in Vietnam fought in a tropical environment, multiple can ofy, extensive overgrowth, extremely wet. That is an extreme environment, but still closer to what we are going to be dealing with on the North American continent fighting here. Dad, can I interject something here real quick? Go ahead. The desert chocolate chip may not work in the summer, but it does work as a pretty good fall camouflage. Exactly, which is how we use it. That's what I said. So, it is one of the things, again, we have examples of this on film. In fact, one of the most important things, it doesn't have to even blend. That's one of the things about chocolate chip, I'll point out. Now, we're talking about chocolate chip. We're talking about the five-colored desert pattern that we went into Desert Storm with, Desert Dust, Part 1, The Adventure Begins. It was a holdover from our operations in the Sinai Peninsula. and in the operations with the 82nd and 101st Airborne that rotated in as peacekeepers with the United Nations. While we were there, this camouflage was adopted in conjunction with, and most people might remember this if I can jog your memories, the troops were wearing shoot me blaze orange berets with blaze orange UN markings. Okay, and wow the desert camouflage doesn't do you hold it good when you're wearing under orange. You know the shoot me colors Okay, so it's kind of an oxymoron contrast thing however The desert camouflage itself used in the fall here in Michigan It works as an exceptionally well good pattern for a number number of reasons and here's one that most people don't think about You are subconsciously conditioned to look for camouflage You're subconsciously conditioned really to look for the camouflage of the day You are conditioned, for instance we were conditioned to woodland camouflage. So people kind of are watching for that pattern. They don't think about it, but we've tested this for years and years. We've done the physical testing. Another example is digital. Digital is really a garbage pattern for most things, guys, and it's intentional. They really don't want it to blend in. It's a shoot me, it's a shoot me uniform. The idea is friend-foe. But in reality, it does not work under most conditions. It doesn't even work well in urban conditions, which is comical because it was originally argued years ago that's where it would be used. By the way, we've seen this all before. A little giveaway here. When I did the latest series of videos that you see that are militia like for web gear and equipment, if you pay attention, I laid out some of the original digital camouflage cloth made for the research projects for the Department of Defense. in 1975. I have some of the original digital guys. You think this is something new? Oh look, oh look, we're on future wars and wow we just came up with this here digital. It was all brand new, a brainstorm, nothing like we ever seen before. Really? Tell you what, it's 31-0, it's 40 years old now. Actually almost 40 years old guys. The digital concept was pushed and it lost and it was pushed and it lost and it was pushed. And finally the bean counter is the latest batch we have. We're pushing it in now and ooh ooh ooh look it's sci-fi. Ooh ooh ooh it doesn't work under most conditions. Every camouflage has its best environment and has its worst environmental options. That's what we have to calibrate.
