Mark Koernke discussed preparedness measures in response to the emerging swine flu outbreak in Mexico, emphasizing immune system strengthening through the detox formula (featuring ionic silver, myrrh, and vodka), digestive enzymes, and alternative treatments like garlic and oil of oregano. He provided congressional contact numbers and urged listeners to call representatives demanding border closure. The show covered N100 and N95 respirator recommendations from Library-Dust.com, food security concerns including FDA radiation of produce and Pennsylvania's bans on home bake sales and raw milk, and practical storage solutions for canned goods using homemade masonite boxes. Callers shared personal experiences with the detox formula's effectiveness and discussed the book series.
You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free? Good evening ladies and gentlemen. This is the evening intelligence report. I'm our corny and butter knife One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, central, south, and east. and we are on live 365 then go to Liberty Tree Radio you will also find us on AM and FM micro stations, CB base stations and alternate technologies both east and west of the Mississippi along with southern and central Alaska and the Aleutian Islands. We're also on the Hallmark Network, 8 colonial states, eastern Seaboard and expanding there. Soon the Golden Spike Project will be at pivot and we should see that in the southeast and Ohio if all goes well. Butternight, today's date is It is 24 April 2009. This Friday it is the evening program so this is the last program of the day and the week and that makes it tada! Quartermaster corner! Our job here today is to give you opportunities, direct you in certain ways towards supply and support because again, Quartermaster, deep supply and support is what's going to win the next war and keep people alive. So we want to make sure that you understand we find opportunities. We come up with solutions and ways to get around some of the problems. We're going to offer them to you. Now, in a little, like a double jolt here, I will remind everybody that we have what we call the detox formula. It is on our webpage on pbn.4mg.com. Look for the detox formula. Go to www.pbn.4mg.com. That's the number 4 mg.com. Take a look at the recipe. The information is available there. The ionic silver and the joey silver are one and the same. and we have found that the ionic silver by water ozz or by whoever you can find that's still able to make it is the best solution for the silver. Vodka as the primary alcohol base with regard to the for making the tincture to create the mix and again cheapest is best guys strangely enough but otherwise the rest of the formula it's very obvious and follow the instructions. I've been using this butter knife Because we've had this latest little fluke like running through the area here, it's causing a whole bunch of upper respiratory problems, etc. Once again, kind of like beefing up my system beforehand, I started taking the detox formula and pretty well stayed on it a little bit in the morning. Basically, the equivalent to about two tablespoons in a glass and just drink it. You can mix it with stuff, you can mix it with tomato juice. Personally, I just take it as is and oh yeah, she's warm. It's hot. You'll find out when you look at the recipe what I'm talking about. But it works. I'd say it probably tastes like flaming gasoline. Oh yeah, it's got that flaming gasoline set. You know it's working because it smells like an industrial product. It's not that bad. Actually, if you like spicy food, you'll love the detox formula. Okay, let's put it that way. So anyway, cures will not outdate, will store indefinitely. In fact, we just mixed up another batch to the formula spec that you see there and we are still utilizing and using up what's left of the original batch that was done probably about a year and a half, two years ago. And with the same results, I've seen that it works on pretty much all of these respiratory bugs. Take and check it out. Remember that, well, when the three wise men, the story that you're all familiar with, came to see Jesus and the manger, there were three things that they brought to him. One was gold, one was frankincense, and what was the third one? Mirror. And one of the key ingredients for the detox formula is myrrh slash myrrh gum. And amazingly enough, we have watched this detox formula work so well, and I would recommend having it on the shelf. As part of the battery of defense in the event we start to see problems again go to pbn.4mg.com If we recommend it guys we've used it. Okay. I have personally used it. We've used them people who are far worse shaped than many of the people that we treat in phase one because we catch it right away. We've had people who have had obviously been sprayed and hit with bugs that at low low level not high level not G it's chemtrails. We're talking low level military helicopters. Casualties in Texas, also casualties in Kentucky. The detox formula was the only thing that cut it at all. Everything else just hampered it and slowed it down a little bit. The detox formula cut it right square in its tracks and put it down on its knees and then kicked it in the head and got rid of it. Don can testify to that. He was one of the casualties from some of the spraying in the upper part of Michigan. As he would tell you, it was like he was breathing water. That's how his lungs felt. He's a diver, so he knows what that's like. I know what he's talking about. Anyway, the point is, one more time, pbn.4mg.com. Take the time to follow through on that. It's one of several solutions you can have on the shelf ready to go. It will help you with dealing with a lot of other issues too, keeping yourself up to a fighting trim. Another thing that I really do believe helped and is helping right now is that I've been pretty well staying on the enzymes, the wovenzyme type. We've talked about this butter knife and we've been using the basic formula, not anything strange or gone to any of the other more interesting and exotic combinations. I've just stuck with the basic formula and I think that has helped a great deal because it has helped to strengthen the body. Because we are older, we don't produce the enzymes for repair. I've been doing some major kinks here with some of the work we've been doing. The woven enzyme slash the digestive enzymes have made a significant difference in the turnaround time with injuries that normally I'd be having to recoup from over a longer period of time. My problem is that nobody over 30 produces as much enzymes as they really ought to. So even just on a general purpose basis, everybody over 30 and probably some below should be taking, quote, digestive enzymes, end of quote. They're available at any of the health food outlets, mail order, vitamin places, et cetera. The two biggies are bromelain and papain. Those are very well understood materials extracted from pineapples and papaya. They do not have to be expensive. You can get the generics and they will work fine. Just look at the dosage. We are trying to find solutions. I know that everybody is having problems out there. We understand that. That is why we have learned to scavenge. and learn to accumulate resource information and share it so that everybody else can take advantage of it. In many cases we've bought whole companies out. We literally have. And it's because of all of you responding. So that's a compliment in that at least, again, listening to what we're saying here, you've had the confidence. And we're looking more just for using common sense. We're not going to try and steer you in a direction because it's just on a fluke or a whim. We're looking at application and we're looking at whether or not it truly is useful. Some things are designed for the sake of comfort and there is psychological comfort at that. It has nothing to do with true physical comfort. It's nice to have, for instance, in your food inventory, guys, hard chocolates, hard candies. Not because they are critical to survival so much as it is to break up the monotony and to create high points. We are blessed with a massive amount of resources that we have so that we can walk out and you can go by a store nowadays and say what flavor of chocolate, what color of chocolate and how many types do you want or how many kinds of candies. In the past candies or treats were just exactly that. It is why the term treat meant it was a special event. Cakes, we take it for granted for the moment. That too is going to change. If we're already having a problem butter knife with regular wheat, we are going to have a problem with the higher refined wheats as far as access progressively as they break down the food supply and intentionally cut it off. It is not because we can't produce it. They are intentionally creating any food shortage that takes place. There is no accident to it. Bear in mind that for routine food consumption, we aren't looking to the white bleached flour and so forth. We ought to grind the wheat for bread and pastry type things. We ought to sprout it for vitamins and enzymes. Those white fluffy things are celebration foods and tasty little morsels. Treat them as much like candy as anything else. Exactly. There's supposed to be a high point and that's why on a birthday you had a birthday cake. Because it was special. It had significance. It was unique. And that's one of the things to keep in mind when you're planning your diet for the future from your storage systems. Now it doesn't mean you can't have variety. We've already brought up the fact that hey guys, If you show up at my door, you're going to get a big cup of dry oatmeal and a whole can of anchovies. Don't say we can't come up with unique menus to keep you happy. Wait a minute. Maybe we won't have as many people at the door the next day. What do you think? Well, we can't help though. You know what it sounds like? I'll tell you what, but if we might have a caller, who do we have right now? Yes, this is Michael Messer, Arizona. Oh, Michael, jump in there. Go ahead. Okay, kind of follow up on your detox there. I finished up the previous hour there, we were talking about the swine flu. I came in there and watched the local news. azcentral.com, channel 12, it's the local NBC affiliate. The swine flu, seven in California, two in Texas, no deaths. 15 people have died in Mexico. 60 people have died worldwide. There are 1,000 people sick in Mexico and 900 of them just in Mexico City, mostly the young persons. It's being passed from person to person and there's no indication that any of them had contact with pigs. Well, we... Alrighty, so that smells to me like they've released the first generation of the human transmissible engineered versions. Yep. Another thing too is we need to get on the phone. Forgive me, one of our friends right now might be listening, may have or can access. In fact, here's a mission for the chat room guys. While you're listening here, we need the number for the phone stations for Washington DC for Congress. We want the general operator with of course, usually they then give you a sub menu for calling your representative and I know They don't listen half the time, but here's the thing. We're going to create the subject, people. I need everybody to pass the word on and pitch in on this. We're calling Congress and telling them, close the border now. Close the border now. Close the border now. I don't want you to talk about it. I don't want you to be kind to them. You tell them to get their sari arses up out of bed, get into the Congress, tell them to close the border immediately, shut it down. That'll settle the whole problem. Oh, and by the way, a side effect? No more bad stuff will be going to Mexico from the United States because no more bad stuff will be coming up from Mexico. Okay, so what we need is some assistance here and if anybody and everybody listening, if you can whoever gets it first, pay attention. What we need to have you do guys is pass the information on, post it in the page, we'll see it there. In fact, I'm moving in that direction right now because I was not set up for that, forgive me. But again Mike, so this is showing you, what was the, go ahead and give out the affiliate and everything again so everybody knows where to look. That was azcentral.com. That's the Arizona Republic and the local NBC affiliate, Channel 12. You asked for the number for Congress, but I'm away from my workstation. Hold on one second. I have to get back to you. There were almost 1,000 reported cases in Mexico. There are 900 cases in Mexico City alone, seven in California, two in Texas, There have been 16 have died in Mexico, 600 have died worldwide. It's affecting mostly young people. It's usually just spread from pig to pig, but now it's jumped and now it's going person to person. There's no indication that any of these people have come in contact with pigs. Now, another thing about this too, the preponderance of the casualties are in Mexico City proper. I did see the piece on that and appear to be the latest block or the biggest block of casualties period. So, the epicenter of this, as you said, Butterknife, the release, whatever it is that they've done here to fabricate this, is in Mexico City proper and therefore is contained at the moment in Mexico, the majority. However, we can pretty well assume that these other splinter factions, these splinter legs going out, are because of transient population movement between Mexico and the United States. They dominate that. We've got 10% of their population living here and more coming every day. So that's a known and scheduled and planned vector. And the most important thing here, guys, we can demonstrate by at least diagnosing open numbers that the quantitative number is much larger in Mexico, specifically Mexico City, demonstrating that that's the point of origin for this particular wave. The lesser numbers are in two specific migratory paths, one California, the other Texas, correct Mike? Yes, two in Texas, seven in California, a total of nine in the United States. There's the beachheads right there. And Gee, what are they also? Oh, that's right. We've got the invasion quarter for Texas, and we've got the occupation and as land quarter for South California. Wow, what a surprise. So, Gee, shut down the border, shut down the border, shut down the border. Quarantine now. I just want to hurt the medical business mark. Yeah, I think I really do well in this case They don't do us any good anyway one of the things we found with most of these is that pretty much everything that they have generated? Does not neutralize or or kill whatever it is that they're trying to deal with typically it Protracts the action this is one thing we've seen that's been pretty consistent with this so this is a warning for everybody else out there again We need to be first of all bolstering our immune systems Building up the, again, our vitamin, just in case you have a vitamin deficiency that may be part of the formula, building up our battery of reserves physically, and also again just dealing with general health, so this will work both ways. Now the thing that's interesting about these various flutes is that they do mention that they affect young adults 20 to 40, 20 to 45 most energetically. As I understand it, the reason for that is that the way they kill is by overstimulating a portion of the immune system causing something called a cytokine storm. There's an overreaction and it attacks the lungs and jams you up. Adults with healthy immune systems are most vulnerable to that because it's an engine in good shape that's easiest to over-rev in effect. So, I would say that the silver component in the detox formula will attack the virus directly and without... stimulating the rest of the immune system. We should probably get busy researching ways to suppress the cytokine reaction because the controlled press is not going to leak that information if it's an effective counteragent to this specific illness. Exactly. Well, one of the things about silver to remember is it works. It does not work as a counter virus for everybody who's listening. Remember this. What silver does is walks in and shoots the virus in the head. I mean, literally, it's just dead. it kills it. One of the advantages of this particular system is that you are looking at neutralizing completely. The body will evacuate the debris, the detritus, as it is neutralized as you deal with the problem. So don't worry about that. The big thing is that you stay on a regimen, you start it, and you follow through on it. In other words, don't think well because I'm feeling better. I can kind of lay off it now. Wrong. Go in, deal with the problem, follow the regimen, stick with the regimen beyond what you would consider to be your comfort period, okay, into normal maintenance and operation. And then you can either taper off or drop the treatment, if it's a detox formula, at your discretion. But you want to make sure that you allow for an overlap, assuming that again, this is like another one by the way, the Zappers. Now we have, thank you guys, boy it's a good thing with so much stuff going on. The Zapper technology, we have the Zapper prints. on site also. Check both with pbn.4mg.com. Then also go to Liberty Tree Radio and then go to our Yahoo group page. You'll find information posted there. The design for the Zapper. We've used that successfully also when dealing with the viruses. And you'll find it when you go, is it in the, I'm sorry, Kitchen Militia page, is that PBN or is that LTR? PBN under Nancy's name, Nancy, K-O-E-R-N-K-E. under Nancy Cornke's name on the pbn.4mg.com site. The Zapper information is there under kitchen militia. Okay guys. Anyway, I know we might have another caller, but we still have Mike there. Mike, anything else? Jump in there, please. Congress switchboard telephone number. Prepare to copy. 877-851-6437. I say again. 877-851-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871-871 6-4-3-7. The regular number 202-224-3121. 202-224-3121. The White House 202-456-1414. 202-456-1414. With all of these, keep it, you know, kiss, keep it simple, stupid. Don't discuss, don't debate, we don't need to preach. Bottom line, shut down the border now. Shut down the border now. Very simple. We might use the phrase, just do it. Even the staffers will recognize that one. That's right, just do it kids, just do it. All right, so again, those numbers, go ahead and give them out one more time each, Mike. Okay, very good. Congress switchboard 877. 851-6437, 877-8516437. And I just checked that number within the last five minutes and it does work. Other number, the regular 202-224-3121, 202-224-3121, The White House, 202-456-1414, 202-456-1414. Very good. Okay, and again, let's just flat out tell them, you know, they want to play this. They're playing this on a Friday like this. I would doubt that it just has happened so they're going to beat the drum on all of this. We've got to do whatever for, you know, because of this we need to do this to America. No, because of this, once again like all the other BS, shut down the border, lock it down now. Well, it'll save Mexico from America because after all, we're just so terrible and they're so worried about a whopping total of 29,000 weapons overall captured, the majority of them being military arms from other countries. You know, $29,000 with 29,000 weapons is a Jack squat. by the way. So just on that note, I'm just going to tell them, remind them this, hey, we'll save Mexico from America by cutting the border down and blocking it. Let's save America from whatever plague they've got going in Mexico by shutting the border down and stopping anything from going north. One of the considerations here though, guys, let's think about this. They've got the population primed. They already are letting them know what's going on down there. They have stopped all soccer games, all public activities. They don't want people going to school. So already the population knows that something bad is going on. To move or herd north, especially if you're trying to move them in a certain direction, you strike a little lightning behind them in the way of a crisis. and everybody runs to the border to try and get away, only in the process, bringing whatever it is that's been planted in the population forward into the United States. And just think about the dispersion. So I don't think that's far-fetched at all. Of course, now we already know it's in, we've already got a tag on it, which of course, here's the other thing. If we have confirmed actions in Diego, San Diego, and in Texas, we can pretty well assume that there are others, guys, they haven't even caught yet. Well, besides which, once you flush them up north, then you set them immediately to work in our restaurants and hotels handling all of the water glasses and bedding and all that kind of good stuff. That's the way you do it. Right into where we are. Making sure that it's kind of like a little bio time bomb waiting all over the place from all directions. Creating lack of confidence in the food supply. intentionally, but the only thing is that it would basically be in the fresh food category. Wheat production, bean production, all of those with dry beans and such would be secure. Rolled oats wouldn't be a problem. Well, maybe the way to deal with this sort of thing is, among other things, to cut off all food imports because we're so self-sufficient, right? Yeah, there we go. Since obviously there's nothing wrong with our farming, we can cut off those foreign food imports and deal with the whole problem right there for safety's sake. But we would want to wait until everybody has passed the planning point in the US. Yeah, exactly. Well, I'll tell you what Mike, if you're running anything else, is that it? That's it. Thank you sir, I appreciate that and you were right there where we need you. I know the guys in the chat room are probably providing us with the numbers too. We'll double check on that, forgive me. I'm not there quite yet because I've been trying to do three things at once. But no, Mike got it. Mike got it, it's not in the chat room. Okay, Mike has it and we're all secure there so we're going to see what we can do to follow through on and Kind of like when they started the Iraq war. Started on a Friday. That way Monday we can have a lot of fun. Yeah, a lot of fun. Okay, anything else before we go? Nope, that's it, man. God bless you guys later. Thank you for calling. I appreciate that. Okay, thanks. I heard another couple of beeps, but I'd like to slide something in first here since we're on topic and we might drift. One of the guys online the other evening asked me, would guest masks work against these bugs? I said, yeah, but masks are a big heavy hot thing and the filters do clog up over time. Ideally, you'd want to reserve those for their idiosyncratic conditions. Something you can do when you're concerned specifically about bugs is an air filter, an air mask. You'll see these in medical facilities and so on. The ones that you really, really want, if you can afford them, are the N100 masks or respirators. I researched these a while back. And the best price I found was at a site called Library-Dust. That is library-dust.com. Top of the line are the 3M8233s. These are N100s, meaning they pick up just about 100% of everything down to .3 microns. The utility of this style of mask is they're not much cheaper than the M9s that we've been picking up. They're a lot cheaper than other gas masks. They're also more comfortable especially for extended wear, no claustrophobia, that kind of stuff. They cover the mouth and nose but not the eyes. They are also good for something like 200 hours of use. So these are not something you do for a couple of hours and then have to toss it away and get another one. They'll run for days and days and days. The ones you really want if you can afford them are the 82-33s. These guys offer them for $7 a piece or about 6 2 thirds and a 20 pack. There are also some that are a little bit less effective but a whole lot cheaper. There are a couple of different variants of the N95 particulate respirators. The 85-11 comes in at $15 for a 10 pack. which is a buck and a half a piece. And the $8,000 comes in at about $0.30 a piece at $10 or so for a 30-pack. If you can afford them, I would recommend go for a 20-pack of the $82 to $33. It's just absolute the best you can get. Once again, this is library-dust.com. But if you really want to equip a bunch of people cheaply, get some of those 10-packs for $15 a 10-pack. The next best version, that's the N95 model number is 3M8511 on the next tier. The bottom tier that you would really want to consider for that sort of thing, still considered adequate by the Feds for Flubugs, is the Model 8000. Those are about 30 cents a piece. Definitely something you can afford to hand out to people. further down the distribution chain than your butter knives. I would recommend the mid-range buck and a half ones barest minimum for your butter knives and the N100s for your core personnel. Again, with all the technologies here guys, at this point in time you want to keep them in a pre-deployment phase. This is especially true with all your priority breeding equipment. You need to go over it, you need to inspect it, you need to sit down to make sure everybody knows how the equipment works. You need to review the technology and you make sure that your backup equipment is all stored so that it is effectively protected from the environment so that it will last longer. But also, it still has to be accessible so that it can be deployed as needed, especially when you're looking for replacement components to put stuff back up and online. Keep that in mind. So there's a lot of work that's going to have to be done here. Again, this is for us, it's not last minute preparation or any kind of shock or surprise or anything like that. For all of you listening, pretty straightforward. Follow through on what we've already been covering on the air. We know if you're new and just now coming in, again, this program is archived in a number of different ways. Go into our chat room. Go to libertytreeradio.4mg.com, then go into the chat room, say hi to the guys and they'll let you know where to find archives so you can follow up even on this program tonight when the time comes. That way you'll be able to follow, listen in, you can make a recording, listen to it, and take your time. If you miss something we said, we always repeat things multiply, so it shouldn't be hard. But it will be there where you can access it. And again, the idea is to get the information out. And on that note, I'm going to jump back here real quick. Go to pbn.4mg.com. That is pbn.4mg.com. Patriot Broadcasting Network. PBN. That's pop up. Bravo November. PBN.4. That's the number 4. mg.com. Now when you get there, right at the top of the page, on the left hand side, blue letters says new. Mark Kornke. The next one is Nancy Kornke. That's what you want to click. You click Nancy. You're going to go to the Kitchen Militia, Patriot Broadcasting Network, Kitchen Militia, Nancy Kornke. Now, scroll down through there. You've got the recipe for the detox formula. There are some other write-ups. We also have the information on how to do your own colloidal silver. Again, any silver base will work, guys, as far as for mutual support. I would also mention that Nancy is a source for one of the better colloidal silvers. people can call her and arrange that purchase as well. That is true and that is of course we've got Water Oz and we also have Aniba. Another thing here that's on the page but it's interesting as we know guys what did George Bush do last year with Iodine? Iodine was specifically attacked and has been pulled out of the available inventory in any good quantity. Most of the dollar stores we had it happen here put on sale all of their Iodine and sold it off the shelf as quickly as they could. And I bought the last. Now, the thing about it is that's another iodine is another effective tool for sterilization and for basic body maintenance under these conditions. Okay? So, it is something to look at. Anyway, I think we have Dave here, but do we have anybody else that's called in? We have at least one other, maybe two before Dave arrives. There were two other calls that were called in after I... Hey Mark, this is Michael from Indiana. Go ahead Michael, jump in there. You told me to give you a call when some of the things arrived? Yes, go ahead please. I got your second book in the three book series. Yes, and the others are in print right now. Again, they're second printing. We just sent a bunch of stuff out. We'll have those on the way shortly. Excellent. Well, I want to say I started reading it, and I appreciate your note you put in there, too. That was really nice and appropriate. And the book is really, really good. I encourage people, the listeners, to get those book series. Never stand with a briefcase in front of a tank. Exactly. Well, I'd like to see if you can find something special in the briefcase. Unfortunately, in this case, there was some ice on the ground. Unlike the history of Beijing with what happened in China, it wasn't quite the same scenario. I did want to say, too, in the books. I've read the Patriot book by Rawls. Your book is along those lines, but there's a lot of subtlety in the book. I'm sure the Patriots will, but people are new to this. There's a lot of subtlety in there that people need to pay attention to. I think you probably know what I'm talking about. There's intentional. There's actually a test when you're done. Remember, when you read these books, there's a test. Don't worry about going back through the volumes. It's just to see if I did my job. That's the big thing. Hey, real quick, I have my kids like to say hello to you. Can they shout to the fellow? Oh, all right. Go right ahead and shout to the world, too. That's okay. Okay. All right. I'll let you guys go. I want to say I enjoyed your show earlier. A lot of good information. Just hang in there. God bless you guys. You guys are doing a great job and people are waking up. Thank you, sir. Appreciate it. Take care. Okay, God bless. And I think we have another call or two right after that. Who else do we have in between? Anybody else? Well, I'll tell you what, we probably have them. I think they're listening. Dave, jump in there. If you've got a report, go ahead. Okay, yeah. First of all, let's finish up here with your flu stuff. Folks, garlic, garlic, garlic, garlic. Oh, yes. Don't lose it. Get it. However, watch out for this damn garlic being brought in from China. It's worthless. They're radiating that stuff. They don't have any value to it whatsoever. I've tried planting it and it doesn't even plant or sprout. It's no good. If you remember the SARS epidemic what, four years ago Dr. Hulawers went to Hong Kong where they had a massive epidemic. He took lots of oil and garlic with him and they allowed him into the hospitals in Hong Kong to treat the patients. Within 30 days there was no longer a SARS epidemic and the news all just plain shut up about it because they didn't want anybody to know what went on. Oil and garlic, oil and oregano also works. Either one But the garlic seems to be the most for the best bucks for the inavailability. It's a whole lot easier to get the oil of garlic or just fresh garlic cloves. A lot of people take the pills. They don't work, folks, if you swallow them. If you take a garlic tablet, you must chew them. They have to have the saliva mixed with the garlic. juices and taken into the system in order for it to create an antibiotic to kill the virus. You must chew tablets if you do it, but garlic cloves of course you do choose. The other thing I have here was an interesting note today that New York State was whining and crying that they have done a survey and 33% of the population who are eligible to vote in the state of New York aren't registered. I wonder if they just had it with a system. Isn't that one cute? They've just plain given up and don't want to be part of the system anymore. That's pretty high for New York, a socialist state. Probably the second largest socialist state in the country. Another interesting thing to hit the news today, Niagara Falls, New York. The environmentalists were complaining that the city sprawl had tripled in the county in the past 50 years. But here's an unusual statistic. The population, unlike most other places, In Niagara Falls, they have lost over 200,000 people in the last 50 years. Yet they have tripled the amount of construction or building in the removal of natural land. Anyway, back to New York City, the Dow Jones Industrial, after being up and down and up and down, well all week on, up and down, they managed to finally push it back over 8,000 today. It closed out at 8,076.79. That's 55 points lower than it was last Friday. So all the ups and downs they did, they lost ground anyways. The only thing that did mount to much was silver is up by a whole buck since last Friday closing out at 12.89. Gold is up by $44 over last Friday closing out at 9.13. Crude oil, well it pushed above $50 today, it went up to $51.51 for the closing. General Motors, well they were down to $1.62, though they closed out at $1.69. Not doing so well on the market. Metals today, like yesterday reported, were down, down, down. Metals for some reason. I stops this blue foot in its tracks. They sell them. What you can do is grow your own. You've got plenty of time. They'll grow anywhere. They'll grow in five gallon pots. They'll grow in planter pots. They'll grow next to a stream wild and then start to propagate on their own. which is a really good idea. We do this with mint, we do it with garlic, we do it with chives, we do it with even onions. There are places all through this area where we have all of the above actually in clutches and patches that you can go to and pick from and there's a reason. Again, many of them are unique breeds. I just did some trimming on a bunch of the plants like that here guys, all through the week. Every time I've made a perimeter sweep in the area here, I go out and usually have different plants that I check on, other berry bushes, etc. But all of the different herbs that are out there, we have five or six different types of mints. One got flooded out, but that won't make any difference. Right now the water table is really high. We're getting phenomenal moisture in Michigan. So it's bringing all the water table way, way up. And this is going to be good. We get all that bottom muck in there. And about another month and a half out, we're going to have massive quantities of spearmint. that'll be there, probably knee high, and it'll be flourishing after this wet spell. So, guys, you can do it. And all of these are medicinal. There are different purposes for each of them. And we need to have that in inventory and need to promote it as quickly as we can. Be intelligent about how you plant when you plant in the wild. Remember, take a look at the terrain. Try to map out or identify what the cycles are with the water. We have a high water mark for the Huron River right now. Everything is as high as it possibly could be. flooding up into certain lowland areas, which is normal. That's why they're lowlands in the first place. And you can take advantage of that when it comes to planting and growing certain crops. Jerusalem artichokes are one that can be put on the periphery of a high watermark area, and they will take off like wildfire. They're like eating chestnuts, guys. You can eat them green or you can cook them. Anyway, this SARS thing might also be another thing of feedback here. FDA has been trying to mandate the radiation of all fresh produce and vegetables. epidemic and breaking out now in Mexico maybe because a lot of your best produce is coming out of Mexico maybe some excuse now for FDA to try to push even more well we got to radiate in order to protect the public from these viruses now they're killing the nutritional value. The radiation does a lot to degrade the food content. The other alternative that they think is a wonderful thing is sulfurl fluoride, which is a nasty toxic gas for gassing things out. Those do get rid of the bugs and things, but they also do wicked stuff to the people consuming the food. I had one other thing on food I forgot earlier in the week. The state of Pennsylvania has now banned bake sales. and the sale of milk. The Amish and the Mennonites are no longer being allowed in Pennsylvania to sell their milk because it has to be processed in order to be sold in Pennsylvania. And baked goods must be manufactured or baked in a licensed state approved and inspected kitchen. Therefore any home bake sales, church sales are banned. Some women got busted or fined for having a church bake sale in Pittsburgh about two weeks ago in Pennsylvania. I recommend they go find whoever it is to push that and bust their kneecaps. And here it is, an agricultural state, and they're passing all these ridiculous anti-agricultural laws. Well, this is all in line. This is all political correctness taking the extreme, the Soviets we're dealing with. I'm sorry, you're getting to the point now where the idiocy and the level of stupidity tied in. On the one hand, the border is wide open. We've got all kinds of tripe coming across the border, disease carriers, not just with this latest thing that's happened, guys. This has been a known thing. The quality of what's coming from the other parts of the planet is non-existent and typically has been. Yeah, it's pretty and indigenously it does just fine, but unfortunately to get it to go anywhere, and it's ludicrous that I would want garlic or any of my food produced in China. I have a fantastic facility, or I have growing facilities here in the United States that are bar none. Some of the deepest and richest top soils in the world, by the way, are right here where I'm sitting in Michigan. When I was growing up and as I went to school, guys, we have the Swedes and the Danes that brought Future Farmers of America, they brought farmers that were scientists from over there to here to study the Michigan basin. and specifically, for instance, to study the Monroe Basin because of the incredibly deep topsoil that's located there. And all kinds of work was done. And we've got these goofs that have actually screwed up and intentionally, ultimately, mismanaged the entire system. The only reason we're going to have a problem with food is because it's intentional, not accidental. And any of these fools that are attacking grandma for the bake sales, I'll tell you what, I have never been sick from eating at a bake sale, but I sure as hell have gotten sick from eating at some of these chain restaurants. You know what I mean? And I've gotten sick eating vegetables that have been imported because I didn't clean them properly. Yeah, well, for me, I had to take olive oregano to solve my stomach. Yes, we've got to let you go Dave. I've got to go. Bye bye. I know that we've got other things here. Butterknife's got to take care of it. Butterknife, jump in there and take over please. Okay, as another follow up on to the semi-series of canning issues, one of our friends who declines to come on the air, so I won't use our screen name, is engaged in some follow up research on how to can hot dogs and how they work and so forth. It has replicated my experiences so far. and is planning to do some variations on a theme, reducing the processing time a little bit to see whether the overcooking effect can be removed. I believe she plans to try water canning. That's something that all the books deride terribly, saying, oh, that's old fashioned and suddenly no longer safe. Back in the day, of course, that was the standard, is to boil things for three hours. but that reduces the temperature but extends the time. So we will have results from those experiments probably in the next week or two. The goal being to come up with results that are a little bit more palatable and so forth. I think those are likely good approaches. What we are afraid of when we go with these very high temperature, high processing times is botulin. botulinus is available all through the environment and is very much an issue with low acid vegetables. But let's think for a minute. When we are canning meats, we're dealing with the insides of a critter. We're not dealing with vegetables dug up out of the ground. and therefore the biological threat profile is going to be different. We're much more concerned with Salmonella than we are with botulin, even though we act like botulin is our main issue. Well, Salmonella is a lot easier to kill. So it may very well be that the results there are that lightening up a little bit on the processing time or going to the water can or what have you will produce better results. And so I find this very interesting and will definitely report on this. when further results come in. One of the things I wanted to mention also in the topic of canning is that once upon a time back in the day, it was always housewives of course who did the canning, new jars used to come in a box. They'd come a dozen in a box and routinely that box would stay with the jars throughout their service life. that is, mom or grandma would do a bunch of canning and when she was done they'd go right back in the same cardboard box that they came from. This is an excellent solution. The box is just the right size, has the fold over lips and so on, and serves the purpose of keeping pressure off the lids. Because remember, if we're using these disposable one-shot flat stamped metal lids, as opposed to the really old-fashioned toggling systems or what have you, When we're all done the advice is to remove the rings and the lids are stuck onto the rim of the jar. But we do not want to be putting pressure onto the top of those lids because they can be mechanically disrupted and the seal broken. However we store them we do not want to stack them on each other in a fashion where pressure gets onto that cap or that lid. Those boxes were ideal. Nowadays, if you buy new jars, they do not come in a useful box like that. They come in a half box with a shrink wrap around them, which is probably convenient for the manufacturers. Not so convenient for us, because it specifically prevents you from using that as the storage method alone, at least. and at the same time protecting those lids from mechanical pressures and insult. So I came up with an alternate solution that's a little bit annoying that I actually had to do something like this to compensate for the fact that they did not provide us with a simple cardboard box. The goal was how do we come up with a container or box or whatnot in the cheapest possible fashion that would provide excellent protection for things like jars. And given that different jars have different sizes, we need to be able to easily vary the size. Well, I went down to the home center and discovered that the cheapest materials that we can get, the cheapest sheet material available, is 1 eighth inch masonite. And the cheapest lumber material we can get is something called a furring strip, spelled F-U-R-R-I-N-G. Now, furring strips are the wooden strips that you use to stick up on to say basement walls and so on, and that's what you nail or screw drywall to. They provide a stand out and a point for the screws to enter and grip. So if we take a look at the photographs of Butternight's creation, That photograph can be found at stevenotero.com. That's S-T-E-V-E-N. Otero. O-T-E-R dot com slash P-I-C-T as in picture. P-I-C-T zero zero seven eight dot jpeg. JPG. You will see what butter knife created from sheet, masonite and furring strips. The ancillary ingredients here are sheetrock screws. These are also the cheapest screws going on the market. And very aggressive thread and easily handled. They have Phillips heads. And I also use hot glue. What I do is I will have the home center go ahead and cut up the masonite and strips. They'll do that for you. They usually have a schedule of pricing, something like the first two cuts are free and 25 cents a piece after that. Recently, however, they have kind of waved their hands and said don't worry about it. I think that they're kind of happy just to sell the material. So calculate the size of the box you want. and go ahead and have them cut 6 inch or 7 inch or 8 inch stripes, whatever you need and take them home in that fashion then very little handwork is required at that point. You end up chopping up strips of the masonite that you take home and similarly length strips of furring strip. Simply hot glue these things along the edges and you end up with what's basically a synthetic board. and then assemble these old things, use a 90 degree bracket to get things lined up properly, drill and screw the corners, and then a properly cut sheet of masonite on the top and the bottom completes the task. By doing it in a slightly odd way and allowing the overlap that you will see in the photograph, once again the photograph is at stevenautero.com slash picked, P-I-C-T 0078.jpg. You will see that very few calculations are required. These things go together easily. They're strong. They're cheap. The bottom I simply screwed on with a half dozen screws. The tops I actually did something a little bit odd. I simply drill one hole through on each corner and drop a nail in the hole. That is more than sufficient to keep the lid from sliding off. You can lift it. You can reinsert it. It is not going to fall off because of the friction effects. Those are sized, you will see the ones on the right are sized for pint jars, the ones on the left are sized for quart jars. I estimate my materials cost in these things at something on the order of $2 to $3 per box finished. That will keep the pressure off the lids, provide you with a very stable container, give you something with a grip you don't have to machine or cut any sort of hand grip in there. It's very solid. You could drop these things and you might have some problems with the contents, but you won't with the box. And they will stack as high as you can reach without any risk of tipping over because they are so rigid. I'm rather pleased with that little engineering solution. Once again, it uses the cheapest materials you can find at the home center and produces box that I am quite pleased with. Any comments or questions? No, in fact, this is something a lot of people have been asking questions about, so go right ahead. If there's any more we need to cover in the time we have left, jump in there. I would say that, remember, that that box can be engineered for almost any size or shape you want, if there are other things you wanted to do. I was thinking while you were describing the plague mix, I was looking at pop bottles that I have here and thinking about my little cap application machine and thinking, well, gee, that would be an interesting approach. Fill up a bunch of pop bottles, press the caps on there. That would be an interesting way of storing that material, having it in small, distributable packages. How would I contain that? Well, you could run off a custom box to fit those if you wanted to. So once you get in the habit of of thinking in these terms and being able to build boxes of this sort, you can produce custom boxes for anything you want. And this is nearly as good as an ammo can, I think, without even having a metal stamping factory at your command. So that is a solution, and I encourage everybody to take a look at that photograph and see whether that might suit some of your requirements as well.
