It's kind of wanted to rain, but it hasn't. It's kind of raining, and then it doesn't. I've had the sun poke out randomly. Typical spring weather for our great lake state. We have lakes here, guys, lots of water. And Larry, the water table is up, up, up. A lot of the neighbors don't know to unplug their culverts. And some of them, the spies, they're just not around to do it, if you get my drift. What's funny is that things just go to hell in a handcart and it's pretty darn obvious when you don't have anybody securing the site. Anyway, we've got little lakes here and there that normally wouldn't be. They'd be front yards or they'd be culverts or whatever. They'd be drainage ditches. The water has been much in excess here so far for the season. Not bad for the plants. I just checked the apple trees, went through the choke-chury trees, checked the bushes out also to include the and they're already looking very healthy. We've got lots of buds, we've got lots of starter pods of leaves. Right now I've been doing trimming and just last clean up on stuff so we can focus what the plants need towards producing more fruit for us through the season. All of you can do this out there. All of you can replant wild trees, wild cherry producers, plum producers, wild apples, crab apples. If they aren't edible directly, which is pretty old, if they're a fruit-bearing plant with the exception of only a few, they're edible. Most have to be taken with certain things, but they're edible. And that means that either you're going to consume them when you realize that, hey, the calories are kind of looking pretty bad and thin, and we need something to supplement. At the very least, it brings other critters in that are much tastier and are concentrated protein. Squirrels, bunnies, may you name it. So it helps to cultivate for miles in all directions. go out and there are trees that I planted 10 years ago, 15 years ago, and we now have little orchards here and there. Everything is looking great here. You probably have got comparable weather, but what does it look like down there in Indiana? Pretty much exactly what you described from Michigan, except we had some sleet mixed in there. We had rain and sleet, sunshine, some more sleet, more rain, more sunshine. a series of spotty storms all day long. Not really storms, just kind of light rain. But again, the noted apple trees, fruit trees here, again like last year, the fruit trees seem to be very thick with flowers and buds, so that should bode well for fruit in the fall. So spot those trees folks, and if you've got somebody who doesn't take advantage of that fruit, Make sure you have plenty of canning jars and make sure you are ready to take advantage of that this fall if they will let you have it. Most of our Congress critters kneel down before the APEC lobby and see what kind of blessings they can get and money, etc. There's been an ongoing FBI investigation on Israeli spying in the U.S. and some of the telecommunications spying, etc. She's doing everything she can to hush that up. and was actually recorded as saying that this conversation never took place, etc. She's on record as trying to thwart the FBI investigation into Israeli spying. More and more people are locking in on this because this is exactly what's wrong with Congress. This is exactly why your kids have been dying for another country's desires, folks. But what's interesting is these are characters from an outside country that is not friendly to the United States. They are not safe. They can't be trusted. One of the biggest problems is the fact that you do give them the house and they're not happy. It doesn't make any difference how you would try to appease the critters when it comes to nonsense like this. They simply would want more and they would be disgusted. They're always disgusted if you ask, well, why are you, you know, what gives you the right or why is it you deserve it? Oh, they're the chosen! No, no, you're not. Not in this case. Sorry about that. and California GOP decries anti-Semitic Tea Party activism. Chairman Muiring issued the statement in response to the use of anti-Semitic graphics used on the Bay Area Ron Paul campaign for Liberty website in conjunction with the April 15 Tea Party in San Mateo. The image pictured a bucket of money being poured into a funnel with the Star of David on it, which in turn drips blood into a bottle where a person holding a Palestinian flag is seen drowning in blood. The text reads, Uncle Sam reminds you, keep paying taxes. The ongoing extermination of Palestinian children can't be done without your help. And then Mike Rivero says, is there anything factually wrong with the image? Is not killing Palestinian children, including the blood relatives of Jesus, using weapons bought and paid for with US tax dollars? Is it anti-Semitism if it is the truth? Well, of course it is this stinking ADL on the SPLC who just worked to get a report through Homeland Gestapo that you as gun owners and tax protesters are actually terrorists. You know, like, Weekend at Boiny, part three, the stealing continues. Now, let me ask you something there. You think maybe he was told to throw his body on the old sword? Because in reality, the whole thing is being played out as if it was purely one of the Pickle Smoking Mears projects. Yep, lots of money involved, but no way to know where any of it went. You want to know where it all went, what to tell of even Haifa. So all we need to do is close down the operations there, get our money back, and everybody will be happy, right? All the Americans, I mean involved? Although I guess most of the people who were part of Weekend at Bernie's, part three, the thieving continues. A lot of them were people who told everybody else that they were crazy about watching these characters because they're criminals. Perhaps because they were the other comfortable criminals. settling up to the, that's I think most likely the case. Anyway, so much for the banking problem because there's a couple of things I want to touch on today and this is Communications Tuesday. We've got Larry with us and of course we're going to get to gardening here real quick. Just a reminder, Larry I want you to touch on where we are right now in the season but before we go there, communications guys and tennis. Do you have anybody who has like a cable shop or a cable company where they toss out stuff on a regular basis? Chunks of wire, pieces? No. Granted, most people are not throwing stuff away. But amazingly enough, a lot of these companies still are. Or because of the grade of the wire, they don't care about it because they really can't recycle it. It's not efficient. Very, very lightweight, minimal material. Well guys, there's a lot of things you can do with little short pieces of telephone wire or wire cabling or support cable. You'll see a lot of this stuff that was done to run from one building to the other. It actually is a copper line or a series of copper lines or a Kinema coax with a steel cable that runs next to it to provide tensile support, you know, strength when it spans that distance. so the cable doesn't fall over. It actually has a support system, and there's locks and clamps and whatever. In fact, if you pay attention, you'll even get a bunch of those. Well, the cool thing is those are typically insulated, too. So you have, let's see, some cable insulators that either end, some big chunks of wire, long wire, in many cases, although small, that can be cleared off, can be stripped in lengths. And then, rather than having to worry about shooting a wire when the time comes, or hooking up, say, something for your portable shortwave units or for other equipment you might want to use. What you can do is in areas of operation where you want to be prepared for what's coming, you can either A, put an antenna kit out in the middle of nowhere, coil up the wire, have the insulators in place, have everything set up to include eyelet screws, all kinds of fun stuff, nails, even a little throwaway hammer, a tappet hammer from the dollar store. All that can go into an antenna tube, in other words a kit, that can be sealed up and can be left at locations all over your area of operation. The other option is assemble them, put them in the trees, put them in the tree line, put them up to other pieces of equipment that's in an abandoned area or a quiet area, and leave them with the leaves down and secured, and again also sealed for long-term use. When the time comes, you simply walk in, uncover the leads, hook up your radio, and you have a long range antenna in place to use. Now here's the thing, people are going to say, well they can track what you're doing and they're going to ID. First of all, general communications may or may not require operational security, depending upon what period of time it is. However, remember, you may want to set up bait locations, something that you've already established. You'll have other decoys. other types of equipment in place that is all either damaged, destroyed or thrown away. You create high confidence by putting a throwaway transmitter onto those lines and hooking them up and leaving it run with an MP3 player with a voice activated mic and you've got yourself a bullet magnet. Now you may want that for a number of different reasons. You never know who you might bring in also. But you can also use it for one way, well let's see, what we call dead time transmission. In other words, for as long as it runs it can give out a specific signal. If it is lost, you don't care. Where did you get the supplies from? The dump, the garbage bin, the throwaway box. Now the cool thing is that if you do this right, these kits can be deployed all over the area, all over a county, all over several counties. In addition, even the transmitters can be pre-deployed. Oh, by the way, we're in the age of solar panels, so remember that you don't necessarily have to have a perfect power source, although a couple of throwaway batteries would be nice, but the batteries can be carried in and can be even expended or tired batteries because after All we are trying to do is create a signal that gives reasonable confidence. So setting up advanced wire stations, in other words locations where you have the wire already stretched, everything already in place, the leads are already running off and ready to hook up to the radio, that's one option. General signal communications, this also saves time when in motion or when on the move. It may be in an area where you are secure. in a non-active environment where you simply wish to make general communications and use burst transmission. You can even build YAGI systems, YAGI platforms with a number of different assemblies and be fairly directional. In CB World, remember that was called BEAMS. Remember having a set of BEAMS guys? Very narrow transmission. The signal is focused into a narrower bandwidth area so that it is only picked up by another antenna that's lined up with it, although of course an omnidirectional can pick it up too, provided that the beam is targeting the general area where that omnidirectional antenna is. The advantage is it's harder to target an ID, a beamed system. And there are a number of tricks there. Do the research. By the way, we have the Hamfest coming up in let's see, the second week of May down at Dayton O'Hara Arena. and all of you need to make it down there. I mean seriously, get down there. Books on what I'm talking about are readily available. If you want to have some fun, check out the concepts of what's called fox hunting. Fox hunting is where somebody decides to go mobile, very mobile, with a transmitter. They have to improvise all of their antennas. My favorite, two shopping carts hooked together, all steel. Plastic ones are not good. But all steel shopping carts make for a fantastic array transmitter antenna that has variable geometry and can be moved easily. Well, when you're fox hunting, everybody else is trying to hunt down your transmission. So this is where you get really good at hooking up, setting up on the frequency, bursting the transmission, sending the message out. shutting everything down and leaving the area of operation immediately. Now again, you can be, well, that doesn't mean there's all kinds of cool things you could do in a combat situation, but in a tactical situation, this may also prove to be a way to pull resources offline that otherwise would be busy with other activities. That doesn't make any difference even if somebody would say, well they have drones. Well they have jets. Well they have AWACS. Well they did in Lebanon too and it didn't do them any good, did it? Hezbollah didn't have any jets, didn't have any satellites, and didn't have any drones. And the Israelis fell flat on their face. Afghanistan, I would say the same thing. Here it is. We went into Afghanistan right after 9-11. And we've been there since, oh that's right, this year 2009. Now by this time, opium production should be at zero. As in, not a, nothing, and we should pretty well control every square foot of Afghanistan. What's the situation over there, Larry? Oh, they're making all kinds of drugs over there, Mark. They got the production off the scale, but then that's exactly what the CIA wanted. Who was the, the CIA? Daddy Bush. This prodigal idiot son was in there as a chess piece just to keep the game going. And by the way, Mr. Gates, who is right now still with the donut of destruction, remember he didn't go anywhere after this change in administration. He's right in there with that group. Now, if it's fiddle and resist and you will be absorbed and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and they're telling you all about that with your transmissions and operations here, I guess I would have to be rather confused when I turn and look at Afghanistan, a much smaller piece of real estate. With a whole bunch of people who apparently want to kill Americans, they also don't like the NATO people there, which is the same old clique that have always invaded Afghanistan for the dope trade. All we are looked on is the latest colonials being dragged along by the Brits and whoever else is there. That's exactly who you see manipulating the dope trade, guys. If it's fiddle resist and you will be absorbed and they see all, know all, do all, and everything you turn on will be spotted, I would ask again, what's happening in Afghanistan? I'm a little confounded. Now here's another thing, Afghanistan isn't exactly a massive, deep, rich, thick pine forest now is it? Lots of rocks Mark. Lots of rocks. Lots of up and down. Lots of terrain. But again guys, in theory, although we also know how to use the terrain and the rocks, they actually do defend, protect and screen. It's interesting to note, these guys are still moving pretty much with impunity guys. They've done everything they can to try and manipulate the situation. All kinds of cool ideas to include lots of bodies on the ground, which hasn't done them a whole lot of good. Obviously people are still chasing at their rear end from some other direction. So I wanted this man to read, so he gives me a call early this morning before I got ready to leave the house to go do a job and it's about a show called Apollo. You know, you can charge these people up to $5,000 for trespassing, you know, if they're going to be doing anything. Like in the state of Georgia, all of them, you don't put any signs up in Georgia, all they told me what happened and I told him what happened to me yesterday. So when I heard the power power, I said I went and found the man today and I ran him to ground and I basically explained to him what's going on and he confirmed everything that they were saying on the ground. And so people, you've got to under somebody's front and other guys would take, they'd load it up, laser guided bombs. The GPS units are... You know, I'm going to explain something real quick on here and I'm far out speaking to these jackasses and think that they're that they are not going to be immune. The first time that a single person is lost to that technology because of this, and it is going to be very quick to print, my attitude is to go find the sucker who walked up on that front porch and hang that son of a bugger from the nearest telephone pole and we will hunt them down. This is all this commissar wannabe crap. I am going to use that term. This is all this commissar wannabe BS where they think that somehow there is not going to be any backlash for cooperating with this police state BS. I'm going to tell you I'll be hunting the sucker down. That is my attitude. We already know what we plan on doing. Everybody has pretty well mission statements in place. So they can GPS whatever front porch they think they want to. But you know what? The first time I see anything like that, every one of these pieces of filth that cooperated with would be swinging from a telephone pole. I recommend that everybody better get the names of all these fools doing this. You better walk up to explain it to them this way. Well, I think starting you have let's see today's the 21st looking at a growing guide 22nd to 24th bad planting days on 25th and 26th best planting above-ground 25th 26th best days for planting above-ground crop. So, you know, we've just switched from the root crops now you want to start above-ground crops, you know So if you have anything you want to start with seed you can start beans You can start peas. Anything that is above ground, you can start those. Of course, hold off on some of the hot weather plants like corn and watermelon and stuff like that. You want to wait until the temperatures start to get up there. For example, here tonight in Indiana, it's going to get down to about 34 degrees. So I've got a few tomatoes outside I'm going to be bringing in. for the next night or so. It should start warming up and staying warm. They're talking about 80 degrees down here by this weekend. There could be another surprise frost or so up until about May or so here in Indiana. I don't know how your schedule works up there in Michigan, but you just have to be aware of your area, what plants can handle the weather. You can put out lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, Those things will take frost, those things will take cold, peas will take cold, but you do not want to put out peppers and tomatoes and watermelons, things like the hot weather. So we're kind of in the middle interim phase here. Get your areas planned out, folks. Make sure you've got plenty of fertilizer and things to take care of pests. If you want the cabbage, Brussels sprouts, Nebraska type plants, you're gonna have to have something for the cabbage worm butterflies. I'm not one that's afraid of using seven dust, but the problem is if you put seven dust or some other bug toxin on there, when it comes to rain, it's just gonna wash it off again. The better solution is what they call floating row cover, which is you can run that into your local China mart and pick up a bowl of white nylon mesh. and put over there and then the butterflies can't get to your plants, either to birds or other pests. So there are ways to do this, but better get out there practicing folks, because if you've got a can of garden seeds and think you're going to eat, it ain't going to happen that way. They got $127 up, closing at $79.69. Silver remained basically the same. Gold climbed slightly. Crude oil went up. However, all the other metals, they fell today by about 3-4 cents on all of them except for the nickel and it dropped 10 cents. So everything got pushed and she's gone the other side. And if you look at the metal market, it was like a roller coaster up and down all day long, back and forth. other than that, not a big change today in the market. The title is April 19th. In Longfellow's Midnigh Cry of Paul Revere, he speaks of the Lexington Meeting House. Often it is said that men meet in the village square. However, why is the truth not spoken? None that dare. For the Meeting House was the congregational church. The courtyard of that church was the village square. It was the custom of that day to store musket and powder for community defense in the basement of the church. 77 militia men that day stood their ground upon what they considered to be sacred ground. Outnumbered by soldiers 13 to 1, they would not allow the British to pass. Then shots rang out at last. 38 militia men were wounded or died. And though the skirmish crossed the British much needed time, for the barricades at Concord Bridge were now in place. Men were assembling for the battle to take place. The shots from Lexington had been heard. Now there is silence and not a word. In the distance the beating of drums can be heard. The British are coming. Ask the word. The 168 men lie in wait as sounds of heavy cadence and gait resounded down the lane and across the lake. Outnumbered more than five to one, each man prepared for that which needed to be done. The enemy was quickly approaching the gates. The guns were made ready and placed along the bank. The British were coming for cannons and ball. The farmers instead decided to give them all. They saw the possibility of freedom, wishing no longer to be in the service of the King. 350 men gave pursuit, while Salith and 100 more British soldiers joined the battle. From Concord, Lexington, Medford, Town they came. as 1500 British regulars fled their musket flames. Great men were these. Does anyone remember their names? Today we stand in the brink of peril with all good folks stand in flight or run and hide too frightened to fight. Claiming to be weak and frail, the enemy stands the gate wanting to prevail. The militia once again is prepared to answer the call. Arms, powder, ball have been made ready for the call.
