Donald Betcher hosted the second half of the December 12, 2008 morning broadcast, with guest Robert Henry from JRH Enterprises discussing preparedness, long-term food storage, and firearms maintenance. The show covered freeze-dried food products, homesteading and survival skills via YouTube videos, ammunition availability and pricing trends (particularly Chinese and Russian ammo), firearm reliability and spare parts compatibility (focusing on AK and SKS rifles), the importance of mastering a single weapon system, and general preparedness advice. Betcher also delivered extended commentary on community interdependence, asking for help from friends, and maintaining reliable tools and weapons. The broadcast included multiple commercial segments for freeze-dried foods, water filters, and tea products.

Freeze-dried foods store longer, rehydrate faster, are nutriciously superior to, and taste better than, any other food available for long-term storage. Freeze-dried foods typically have a storage life of decades and have been proven by government testing to store with a high degree of nutritional value for over 30 years. With freeze-dried foods from the Freeze Dry Guide, you too can rely upon the same products that are used in emergency feeding programs for government leaders at the highest levels, as well as senior members of the U.S. military in the event of an enemy attack or cataclysmic natural disaster. The intelligence report, Mark and Don, every morning at 6am pacific time, Monday through Friday. The mist with the f***. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said. We fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free, the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught. You read about the current news in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit so their children will be born. You either send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. You regain the freedoms for which fought and died. Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children, even fear, to be a slave? Both sons of the Republic arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic in each God-given right, and pray to God to torture freedom as I awoke he'd vanished in the midst for whence he came. His words were true, we are free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. He stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep. What would be your answer? He called out from the grave, dill the land of the free. The compass and each and every one of our brothers and behind the lines occupied America in this hour by the Michael Effect broadcast network. All of its affiliates, everybody that's connected up, everybody that's rebroadcast and all you guys that are out there working hard to preserve your freedom. Yee-haw! Hats off to you guys. Again, the intelligence report. Good morning. I'm Donald Betcher. Pause for effect there. I'm pretty certain that Mark is off to a funeral this morning. We had Mark in the first hour. I was able to catch a bit of that last hour there. And Mark's going to a funeral now. I'm wondering if we're going to have a guest here. I hear that. Oh, yee-haw! Okay, you guys, the intelligence report. I'm Donald Betcher, and we have with us today that guy from J.R.H. You know, he goes back with us a good, good long ways back to the, almost the inception of the intelligence report. Wow, there's a big word I hardly ever use. But you guys, when you can reach far back and ask for help of a particular situation, and we know what's going on, Mark has gone to a funeral. Mark has gone to a mustache. I was thinking 94-95-ish something. Yeah, it was speak and that. It was very insightful. It was always, you know, and John back in the day as well too. Met you I think once twice up in Michigan and that. And that was nice. started a YouTube account and I believe there's about 34, 35, 34-ish, 34 relating to type stuff, gardening, raising your own food, cooking, alternate energy, things like that. Homesteading and Survival type stuff and the website for that is easy enough to remember. It's homesteadingandsurvival.com. Again homesteadingandsurvival.com. and that will bring you right to the YouTube site. Again, all free videos and there's links to, we've done some videos with some friends accounts as well showing folks' storage and things like that. You can find that down there in the favorites on that page, homesteadingandsurvival.com. And again, this will show you how to save yourself a pile of money. packing your own food and it's the exact way that the major manufacturers do it. We ran a cannery down in St. Augustine for years, the end of the 90s, and this is the exact methods. We researched that Walton and all these super pals and things like that and show it right there in the video. So it's something that, just stuff like that nowadays, just with the UPS increases over the last. Prices for fuel, but you won't see them lowering their prices. Yeah, yeah, I don't think it'll go back down. You know, it'll take a few years and that, you know, it's just like the, you know, the current rush with the guns and the ammo and such. You remember in the early 90s, you know, it was Chinese ammo, plentiful, 6'2 by 39, 3 in that. And, you know, by 39, the cases of 1200 rounds, an ice would crate for, you know, 79 bucks. A short period of time, it was two and a binded at all. You know, and of course the Chinese ammo never came out because of the individual band there, but the, uh, only, you know, after four years after that, the wolf started, you know, that was 80, a hundred. I think the cheapest we ever, we, 2002, I picked them up for two a K's. Yeah. You know, and at the time I bought a bunch and I thought, I don't really need this, but I'm really glad I did buy, buy cheap and stack it deep, you know, and so I'm sure most, most of your listeners aren't probably as far as that goes. If they follow Mark's advice anyway over the which is good to a show last you know some of the discourse I didn't see a lot of folks actually carrying stuff out you know just plain Jane Romanian Yeah, we've heard stories of a case up to a thousand a case and thought about buying was a number of years ago It was like four years ago from $50 the one is the devaluation of the dollar and the other is the greater demand So it's a it's a two way think with the ammo and that too we're gonna see a lot of to play and maybe not with Osama, excuse me, Obama getting, I think, an ammo ban from Russia. The economic sanctions and that shooting SKS or AK, that's the only cheap ammo at this point is the Russian stuff. At what, $12 a box for 20 rounds or whatever, you might need some spare. One thing we figured out was kind of by half Romanian. They didn't fit. You know, you think it's snake-a. You know, the worst world, but it makes it rely on it. Years ago, it was, you know, well you'd pay that for just all the individual parts and all, you know. So we bought a bunch of them and we figured, you know, this is great. You know, you can just throw one in your ruck if you happen to have a problem. Most of the smalls in that gun are in that bull. The new bolt in and, you know, have the weapon back up and, you know, maybe half a minute, something like that, and it won't fit in the Chinese gun. but when you put it in, it won't go into battery. So, you know, definitely if you have some of these spare parts that you've been fooling with over the years, is take them out and actually try to fit them in your gun. You might be unpleasantly surprised. I know I was, you know, but luckily most of the rest of the stuff is Chinese, you know, Chinese stuff, but I'll pass that along to somebody, a friend or somebody. You know, it's just something to think. Romanian. Yeah, unfortunately. It's still a good point to make. forget about the spare parts. Reliable guns are especially in the case of a rifle. That's worked up until now. Yes, exactly. Exactly. Well, and some of the rifles like that that have a stock where you can fit a lot of small, so right there. My spare parts kit, a rubber made container back at the back of the river. Yeah, it seems the beamer will be able to put it on fire. Exactly, yeah. They burn you out. You have at least some of your spare parts on board. And people used to do this with But, you know, the little height hole like the AKs and SKS is have to just take the, you know, the back of the one there so it doesn't rattle and then screw the screw the butt plate back. You got your stuff right there. So there's different things that you can do. Sorry, Mount. Oh, no, that's a good idea. The right bit, you probably would weaken the stock a few percent because, you know, the V-mer over there, that's all the commercial or little scenario we run for the machinery that they support. You know, you see them when they go to the school, shoot an AK in the morning and in the afternoon, I'm going to shoot my shoot my M1A and if you kind of watch them, you know, they're not familiar, really familiar with anything. There is something to be said for, you know, okay, yeah, I can pick something, you know, the ability to use it, you know, the muscle memory that's developed by using the same weapon over and over and over is very critical, you know. You don't have to, some mechanics, say for example, from a, you know, a Kar-15 to an AK, completely different. And, you know, you go and, you know, you try to stick that K-Mag straight up the mag well and then, you know, you can fly the side of the receiver, the left side of the receiver all you want. There ain't a bolt-hold open there. So, you know, like I said, like a Karfist or, you know, an M4A. Put your magazine in on an angle, it ain't gonna fit. And you reach over to the side of the rifle, there ain't no charging handle, you know, sticking out there like on an AK. You only want to get your time in with one specific weapon. And what I always tell folks is, you know, I went through a lot of different weapons and I've owned most of the major ones and very few now for the simple fact that over time and training with them. As I had failed, I just started, and that wasn't something. When you really jam on the range, it might be embarrassing, or it might be a bit of a hassle for him, but you really need the weapon to kill you. Working amongst, say, four or five guys, your weapon might be up. Say if you're peeling out or something like that, your weapon's up, you're covering guys as they're moving, now your weapon takes a dump. You might not have just got yourself killed, you might have got one or two other guys killed as well. That's something to really not confident as far as I'm concerned. Obviously I like the AK type weapon and it has its limitations. Much past 200 yards, good shooter, yeah, 300 yards, they're going to get good hits with an AK. There's folks that engage with them. Skip Talbot, the president of the association, used to talk about as the guns come down the assembly line, about one in ten, sometimes, depends on the manufacturer, might be one in twelve, stands head and shoulders above the rest. Two smaller groups than one in ten, one in twelve. When you make something as fast as you can, which is the definition of production, they want to make money, they don't want to spend blueprint every single gun as it leaves the line. It works. Yee-haw! spend the least amount of time and money on it, then you can turn around and even the communists think like that because even the communists want to make a profit. Think about it, isn't that total? But again, you say, even a cowboy has his favorite horse. If you play like what it does for him, but we're getting close, you're only going to be with us for the first half of this. Yes, let's talk about some of the product you offer. You guys, the intelligence report, the micro effect for all of you guys that are the re-besters out there. You're the guys making this work. All I do is sit here and talk to the studio on the phone for a minute, you know. Mark does the same thing, although, you know, it's obvious he's a lot more valuable at it. we make the effort we try to you know spread that information the point is here you know when when you listen to the story that was that was heard in that song i can't be in california and i can't be in florida and i can't be in uh... at any given time i can be here or i can be there but you know i'm only one person well why not don't well you know it's the the the limits of you know the flesh this venue which i thank you for I can, in my voice, can be in a number of places. My voice sounds kind of conceited there, Joe, but this hour goes to places where I physically cannot be. Mark, you know what I'm saying? You offer us that venue. I thank you very much for that. Today you've offered me the venue to say, to honor my friend, Stesh Bob. Thank you very much. And again, thank you for playing out that song. That was great. We need to hear that more often. I'm curious as to if we have a, I'm supposed to have another guest for the bottom of the hour and I hate to do this on the air. I'm just asking the question, do we have another? No. Okay then, would you dial a number for me? And I'll put buckshot if he's been up on the air with us. And we'll take a swing at it, Joe. If it's a wiffle, it's a wiffle, oh well. But that number would be 7-0-1-4-8-5-3-5-2-8. shot you guys and I thank you Joe. Alright, I'll get it. But again, that number is 7-0-1. And I was serious about that, you guys, at the front of the hour when I pack into the, having to reach back into the well and say, hey, I need some help. And it's Johnny on the spot. That's great. I got a lot of appreciation for Robert Henry. I called him up last night at 10.30, you guys, he at night. I woke him up. And that's an example that I will use there for a moment, you know. I'm not getting any answer here, Mark. Okay, thank you. That tells me where I'm going to go for the rest of the hour. Thank you, Bill. That determines my course. It kind of weaves into that here. Because you know, all flesh, it's a matter of how the course I'll be there. But it used to be as a matter of we'll be there throughout the day and my course takes me there. And again, you know, it's been here that of course. with plumbing or help with my life, you know, I need to make sure I'm trying to be alive tomorrow. I'll sit in that same boat. Here's the more important question, because it was exhibited. I'll bring this to you. I won't tell you exactly what happened. But you know, you come, your friends, that's the major portion of it. You may never have to ask for help from your, you know, I, I, uh, this and I can do that. And I take care of the plumbing. I take care of, you know, the car, car needs a motor. I, hey, man, I got this motor, would you, you know, show me the case in a sentence because the motor's on two. built eight cylinder motors on four said, Hey, Don, come on over. Tell me what's going on with this man or tell me if, uh, you know, if I'm putting straight, I can go and help him and see that's the better we learned to depend on. You know, I'm certain, I am certain that everyone that's listening now is going to know is going to see the situation that I'm about to break. Of all of your friends, how many of them ask you for help? How many of them ask you for help? Even just to call you up and say, Hey, what does this word mean? Or what does this word mean to you? Even, you know, I know I'm running into a lot of examples on the table. You know, your whole life is a lot of different examples in a lot of different directions, isn't it? We have as our lifetime, a matter of course, a whole bunch of little sidelines and sidebars and, you know, conversations. And as we go this life, as a matter of course. Do you have a friend that always needs help? If he doesn't get help from you, if that doesn't work, he calls somebody else and he's got help from him. Do you have, again, everybody has in your circle of acquaintance or acquaintances. Help me do this and help me do that. I can't. Would you come help me fix it?" and on and on. Now I want you to ask the question yourself. You don't have to be loud. You don't have to confirm because you like to keep your friend. That particular friend... Now what I've done here is offer you the other side's help. To the best of my ability, I try to be there. If I can't bring all of the tools needed, and here's another different example, I'll try to stop someplace else on the way. If I have the ability, I'll go and buy the tool. Or go and rent the tool places now. You can go and buy the tool. and you can use it and you can take it back and return it as long as it's in, you know, pushing it left, a number of, open a number of autom. So you get the prop-hoc many times about for tool for the right job will do. I'm going to have to get it or you know the ability to keep other tools running so that you can keep other tools working and properly maintained so that you can keep machinery running. And I know I'm going in. When your friend calls and asks you that guy that says, Man, I need money. Man, my gun don't work. I shot my tire. I need a tire. And on and on. You know what I mean? So this, as a matter of course, is something if this is, you know, if you see yourself in one of these positions, you need to adjust your course so that Mark needed help. Yeah, Johnny on the spot. Stand that, don't ya? Here ya, there's the opportunity and there's the thought line, the blood might be shed and hopefully it's not yours. Now you might have to, again, we're in the hour that The whole team depends on each individual gun. That goes back to as the thought line that, well, you better find a good one and you better make it yours and you better know how, you know, Robert Henry was caught with one gun. Skip Talbot has talked about the man with one gun. This comes over to, you know, as a matter of court, you're trying to maintain and blueprint and print would be in the build, would be in the functioning of the gun and the case and the powder to get dismissed groups. But if you're trying to do that with four guns, even if you're taking the best notes in the world, you're not going to work. You have divided your course, even if they are all running in parallel lines, you know, you're trying to bring this gun up, you're trying to bring in so on. Parallel line course for all of that thought. So even if that force is running parallel, all four, it takes the master situation and up exhibit, I wanna use here, exhibit the abilities of the guy to be feared because he knows. that one gun. That is, as a matter of course, that is what he has paid attention to. That is what he has brought along with him day by day. If you're of that mind, that, well gee, I'm going to take this gun and I find that it shoots pretty good, and I'm going to try to do this and that, and optics on it, and other things, and you know, learn it at different levels. Then as a matter of course, you are gaining knowledge of that gun, and being more the master of, you would be the master of the equation that needs that gun. Keep that in mind you guys, you need to pay attention, you need to, as Robert, if you've got a system and you have become, it's like, and you like them a lot and they still serve you, then keep it running the same course as you, as has been offered many times on this hour. Spare Springs firing, I'll give you some names and numbers. Oh wow, open right at that you guys, badger barrels. Again, two, some championship barrels over the years in a number of classes. How about McMinnis won his share? another one you guys i'll give you another one here that is uh... going to be a uh... is guns with k and p bain p gun company you can reach them and one one again five one three one one yes you call up k and p guns tell them you heard it on the intelligence report there's what happens in this hour if you guys live in a snow area you know you're probably going to jog gonna best when you hear this one upper can pull you over if you've got ice on your whim if you've got ice on your windshield the copper pull you over give you a ticket for it Now that's one of the most, it's pretty hard to keep ice off your windshield in the winter time. I mean if you live in Arizona, if you go up in the mountains you know about this. And if you live in Florida maybe once in your life you might have seen a drop of ice on your windshield but in Florida it'll probably have any side of your condensation, be it summer or winter. But you can see these, you'll see these because this is a, that's a better word. Bob says yeah you got some ice on your windshield, I'm gonna give you a ticket and that you know one and a half square inches of ice. his buddy or his wife down the road and you know, drives right by and half her windshield is barely cleared by the windshield wipers. You guys were at the end of the hour and now family of mustache pops, of patriots. More, Joe, I thank you for the opportunity to allow me to spread that thought across the nation. Thank you, Joe. And I'll do this because... Because, uh, I stamped the post alone today, you'll hear it all at once. God bless the Republic. To the New World Order, we shall prevail. I read the again, we shall prevail. Thank you, Joe.
